You are STILL AT RISK of PASSING OUT AT HOME and COLLAPSING on YOUR ANKLE (AND FRACTURING IT-like I did) HOURS AFTER MY FIRST DONATION ON JUNE 18TH! There was another first-timer lady that passed out in the bathroom, received a head injury, and had the ambulance called while I was there. You will feel WEAK. DRINK 8 BOTTLES OF WATER AND EAT A FULL MEAL BEFORE AND AFTER, but that may still not be enough to prevent this.

Love this place, I've donated at a good amount of plasma centers, this one is by far the best. Friendly staff, they compensate well, I like their system, painless, couldn't recommend them more! Great for some extra cash for the month.

The person who took my vitals kept making personal comments ? complimenting my shirt (a Britney Spears shirt), asking if I dye my own hair, telling me about his photography hobby, and eventually saying his wife bakes cookies. Then he asked for my number under the excuse of wanting to send me her cookie menu. The 5 ?? are mostly for Nathan. Nathan is the best EVERYTIME! Before my donations wouldn't always go well with other phlebotomists because I have deep veins but this gentleman is the best at assuring me my donations will be a successful one. Because he's a professional at what he does his experience in plasma collection, sample processing, and more important patient care, specimen handling, and compliance with regulations. ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE I?VE HAD IN EL PASO. I used to be a regular donor for other centers and never had any issues about my veins being ?too thin? or that I have to have consumed 8-10 BOTTLES of water to be ?hydrated? enough.???? I called earlier and was told to be there by 3 to be accepted as a new donor. I was there by 3 and they did not want to help me, I had to speak to two different girls and one ?spoke to a manager? but then they had to ?check? my veins. That's when they made those excuses of me

Terrible experience. I came in to donate, and after checking my vitals, they told me I needed to go home, hydrate, and come back later. I followed their instructions exactly, but when I returned, they suddenly refused to let me donate. No clear explanation, just a complete waste of my time. The staff was unhelpful and inconsistent with their policies. If they had no intention of letting me donate, they should have told me upfront instead of making me jump through hoops. Won't be coming back.

I have been to two other Donation clinics here in El Paso and KED Plasma off Zaragoza, has been by far the cleanest, most friendly, and most paying clinic by far! In and out in no time and plenty of chairs while you wait! Hope this helps!

This place just keeps going down hill. They have 5 stations to take vitals and theirs always only 2 or 3 people working the booths max every time for upwards of 20 people. It shouldn't take almost an hour just for vitals to get done. That wait time does not include after vitals and having to wait for the staff to do their jobs and hook up people to the machines. They have people sitting in beds just sitting there. Waiting. Or they have people waiting and loads of empty beds. Or the staff continually chit-ch

I had an uncomfortable experience with Misael. He was overly flirty, which made the situation awkward and unprofessional. On top of that, his poking technique as a phlebotomist was poor?there's a clear need for him to improve his skills and perform the procedure correctly. Welcome to kedplasma where you'll stay here at least 4+ hours. It is ridiculous. Instead of connecting people as they come, they'd rather flirt with the patients. Very unprofessional. The lines are just a joke. Better find another location that has more attentive staff and spend 2 hours rather than 4.

Great staff I had a reaction my first donation because I wasn't hydrated enough I started feeling faint and even threw up but they took care of me fast and carefully, the did great to reassure that I was going to be fine and to come back in a few days to finish my first donation after their doctor cleared me to donate again. Make sure you have a big healthy meal and drink plenty of water before u donate!!!

The best place to go to donate plasma. The pay is currently, as of Feb.2024, $65 1st donation and $70 for your second of the week. Clean place and with a professional friendly staff. I've been to other plasma centers but am very satisfied here and will not go anywhere else They do go by their standards and if you don't meet one of their parameters you will be denied. That's a good thing not a bad thing folks. I recommend here above any other place, at least in El Paso, TX.

Levels of protein change as life happens, at times good and sometimes low during vitals check and are prompted to nurse visits to explain next steps of donating plasma. Called before making a drive was told over phone they were taking new donors no specific cut off time drove up there to just be told they were not and there was like 10 employees just standing around in front 3:40 pm

They need to get better nurses who are really trained, and know what they are doing. I have been donating for 3 years and never had an issue until I moved location, they keep saying my protein level is low and I know for Dan sure it's not.

Their process is unprofessional and not done in a very productive way. All things that can make you ineligible to donate should be asked first and foremost. Not have people sitting around going through the process only to be told they can't donate because of whatever reason. People time is priceless and if they can't donate why waste their time.

BPL plasma turned out to be terrible. One phlebotomist in particular named Fernanda stuck me with a needle and missed multiple times. I then had a lot of discomfort and made it clear it was hurting. Rather than addressing the situation I was left that way for over 15 minutes with the machine beeping like crazy. Because they had so many other issues they were unable to return my red blood cells causing me to be deferred for 56 days. You go in doing a good thing and end up getting this. They had me go back to my Dr 3 separate times for the same medical release and then despite the form fully filled out and signed by my Doctor they then decided not to accept the form I wasted 2 weeks and multiple visits for nothing.
