The workers are cool but the medical staff when asked for help and he's just walking around twiddling his thumbs looked at the line and said oh you got it I believe in you guys well there's only two girls working the windows and 7 people in line. The place has been remodeled and under new ownership but the only thing that's has changed is the way the inside looks. They only have 15 machines to hook people up to so even if it is slow there is still going to be a wait due to the lack of machines and the worke
I switched to be closer to home. It's been a really frustrating transition from my previous location. The process is long, not enough staff and the environment is very uncomfortable compared to surprise. So far staff seem bothered by questions, hardly answer the phone and god forbid you have issues with your iron and tried to get cleared. Sadly may be worth the drive to surprise.
The place is okay but when I first signed up I couldn't figure out where to sign up an the blonde lady was responding in a mean and aggressive way like seriously when there's a new donor she shouldn't have the right to respond in a mean way you're supposed to treat your new donors with kindness and not rudeness
The facility seems a bit nicer and the staff seem a bit more content and pleasant after the change from BPL to KED went through. The great majority of my interactions with the staff have been satisfactory, and they always show a professional, calm, and cool demeanor.
Attention all plasma donors 100 dollar new sign on bonus for the first 8 donations receive 100 each donation, rewards programs and weekly raffles to win tech I.E apple headphones iPads as well as 1000 dollar raffles!! They are extremely professional, have positive upbeat attitudes and are super down to Earth and easy to talk to come join the KedLeague today 4/30/2025 less then satisfactory experience the person handling my needle stick was rude ??.
The one star is for there policies and not the staff. Ive been donating here for 3 or 4 years now since it was bpl. In November when i was doing my physical or whatever they said they had new policies since i had surgery (which was in 2019) so i needed an ok from my doctor that i can donate twice a week even though I've been doing it for years now. So i get the doctors ok and i take the paper work in and they say it needs to be faxed or emailed. So i ask my doctor?s office to fax it to them and they do. But
Unprofessional and under trained. As soon as the lady stuck my arm blood shot out everywhere on my cloths and machine. I tried to stay plugged in but it wasn't working. They refused to pay me for my wasted time and the clothes she ruined by getting my blood everywhere. The manager was no help. If you want to know who the manager is just look for the Scottsdale bro wearing the Bass ProShop trash over his uniform.
This center is amazing for promotions. They do something for everybody and have a great sign up bonus. Good service and good people.
The very best place to donate. I couldn't believe how nice the employees were. I had stereotype image that all centers just have mean & inattentive employees. I literally got sprayed in the eye with medical grade cleaner at a different center, they couldn't care less. This center (can't speak for the Phx center) have a super fast process to get you back & the best employees. Oh and their machines are new, which makes me feel more safe/in good hands. I don't know how centers have such old machines and expect
I have been to CSL and Biolife. KED has been a way better experience than the others.
That pregnant girl Courtney is my favorite. Always so kind to me. Highly recommend!
place treated me like I was a new patient I've been donating at BPL/KED plasma on Bell Road For about three years now, they told me to come over here. All my stuff would be good. All I had to do is just show up and I could donate. well that was a lie they want proof of address driver?s licenses I live like 45 minutes away from here. I just can't hop skip and come back, but it's all good I will find a new place to donate thx for the 3 years KED/BPL plasma center
3 stars are for the people who actually work here. Been coming here for some time now and I have never had a problem, until recently...My new card didn't work, they tried to give me another. We went back and fourth, finally it worked. Get home no $50 or $50 for a referral owed to me They say It went thru but it's not on the card. And I didn't get the referral because the person's first donation was wasted by them, so it didn't count. I was told I would get it by end of day, somebody got it but it wasn't me
Clean place..workers are cooler then a fan they get people in and out..so all you bad reviewers need to tie your shoes n quit tripin lol blessings
Best location to donate, they have the fastest waiting times. And they are walk ins all day from 7am to 7pm weekdays 8 am to 3pm on Saturdays. The phlebotomist have the best attitudes and costumer service. The new donor fees are amazing as well 100$ for the first seven times.
Maddy is amazing. She gets me proper every time and does it the way I am most comfortable with. If they ever let her go I won't be back.Every single one of these people that work here are amazing and I really don't want to see any of them go so long as I'm going. They are all very welcoming and helpful for any questions you may have. As far as the starting process it's not that bad just have 2 forms of ID And a piece of mail from within the last 30 days and as long as everything else is good so are you.
I deleted my first review because I felt bad, but yeah my arm still hurts after 2 weeks Much discomfort when simple tasks like driving, swollen and bruised.
The best experience, nice people didn't feel the needle.
The last time I was at this location I had a problem with a staff two years ago due to my payment for donated, I received a email from the same location staying that they welcome me back that they miss my donor service. The start of process was successful, After 40mins or longer being seated A staff member(Misty) out of nowhere started giving me problems/a hard time and continue on after I respectfully corrected her about her false claim that she assumed I was tapping with the needle. She was very aggressiv
My son and I both stopped coming to donate here after they first merged to KED but not because they changed companies. In my opinion KED has greatly improved the quality of this business. Unfortunately I do have to mention the ugly truth and that is they used to have an employee by the name of Annalise and she was by far their best person I would say to stick you and she held lots of confidence. My son and I felt comfortable with her and would always request her until after a couple of weeks I noticed a sh
I just wanted to say keep up the good work and will there be any new rises of donating plasma in the near future to owners it be a big help this coming up year
Being a new donor is already nerve racking if you've never done anything like this before. I honestly thought my experience was going to be great. First couple of times I've went got denied durning screening. Once I finally passed and was able to go back.. The Lady who did mine felt very rushed and didn't want to do it or just wanted to hurry up and get it over with because they are already close to closing.. While getting me hooked up, my arm already started feeling sore and I could FEEL THE NEEDLE! Not su
If I could I would give this place 10 stars everytime i come in they have me in and out in a timely matter the staff is very professional they make you feel welcome and that your in good hands. Shout out to YaYa and Alexis my two favorite nurses there.
This is my favorite plasma donation location and company. The people that work at KEDPlasma are so friendly, nice and professional. I have been going there for years now and this is truly a special place filled with special people.
10 people in line & only 1 person doing the screening. I feel strongly that there needs to be more staff up front to help with the screening process.
I've been going to this donation place for 2 years now. Other than a few past issues, I never had a problem with them? until they sold their company recently. They've lowered the cost of donation rate without warning, the vital process seems longer. Also, another problem I'm upset about is, I donated today Friday, finished at 2:30PM? have not receive my $50 yet and it's been several hours now. I called the first time, lady barely gave me any info & just said it was the banks fault? But mind you, in the past
The staff is awful to those that donate complaining if you come in any time after 6 pm when they close at 7 pm if you want your employees not to be stuck past 7 pm have a check in cut off time. Misty has threaten my husband several times that she'll come up with reason to decline him from donating because of the time he comes in. That absolutely unacceptable
I really enjoy the customer service, the staff are really friendly, helpful and nice. After researching the starting pay I would like to request they all get a raise. ??
It I could give this place a zero i would. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE. All bullshit don't waste your time go to grifols !!
Katrina Davis most other plasma places pay from $115-$140 a week and don't always give a monthly bonus. So good luck finding a lot better place. The only benefit will be that New Donor Bonus for the 1st 4-8 donations. Although I have never found any other company that doesn't put your pay on the card within 15 minutes at the most.
I've been donating for years cross different centers and states. Never have i had such issues getting my vitals taken. I will not check in with Cindy or Guenter because they both are rude and have threatened my ability to donate over the positioning of my arms or the way I responded yes and no. Cindy lied to management that I smelled of urine to try and have me deferred once! I have never been so embarrassed and insulted by a BPL team member. Also, I have never had a bad temperature read at another cente
Saturday morning ... Went in as a new donor only to be told they don't take new donors on Saturday. I explained weekdays are workdays for me and his response was to check next weekend! I said it was a Saturday! Nothing online stated new donors not wanted on the weekends! Guess the Plasma bank is nice and full and don't need anymore!
Nice clean just a lil bit of a wait before you donate however going to a good cause plus you get paid and I was able to use my 25 bonus
The best and only place I will go. The staff is friendly, trained and professional. This location is like no other and extremely clean, which is what you'd expect. I love this place and most of the employees! Even though I'm deferred for low protein for the next two months, and will be moving 13 miles from this location I plan to come back as soon as my deferment is over. See you guys in April! Thanks BPL for doing things right and providing such a clean and comfortable place for people to donate plasma.
I am SO SO happy with my experience here. I was pretty nervous going into it, but every single staff member I interacted with was extremely kind and was intentionally caring, upbeat and encouraging. I felt like I was right at home with people I've known forever. One of the receptionists in particular was super sweet to the point of complimenting my outfit and smile (how awesome is that?! xD) and even went out of her way to make sure I had the best experience. This was awesome because it calmed my nerves and
I'm posting a review off my boyfriends account but I'm never coming back here one thing to piss a possible donor off is telling them they can't donate for the dumbest reason that makes no sense. I was a new donor and they didn't even have new donor pay it was gonna be $50 for my first time to donate okay whatever I go through the whole process I'm in medical and they ask me about being on any meds I said I'm on no meds and it's possible I would start one for bipolar soon but I haven't and I shouldn't have t
Tried to sign up as a new donor. Had two state issued ID'S. They wanted a utility bill with my name and address. Showed them the bill on my phone but they wanted a paper bill. I have paper less billing. Would not let me sign up. This is nonsense.
Courtney ,Caria, and the night team was amazing . They have great customer service. They always make sure they acknowledge you when you leave thanking you for donating.
My husband went to donate here. After doing the medical for first time visit they denied him because he had face tattoos and told him they were gang related. That is discrimination. My husband is not in a gang and I will not go back or even recommend this place
As a full time doctoral student and mom, the $70.00 per donation was helping me get by with the increasing cost of everything. However with cutting the amount paid for plasma donations recently, I'm going to find other ways to make extra income and stop supporting a company that only cares about earning extra profits from my plasma donations. They made huge profits from selling to hospitals as it was, so this seems like nothing but greed to make more for those on top. So disappointed in the $80.00 cut per m
First appointment took about 4 hours.. after that is about an hour.. $75 first 2 times, and promotions each month, so decent money to help people. Place is really clean and all the staff is super nice. My daughter n I like going together and you can also be on you phone/headset. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend.
This place needs a second medical staff on hands or atleast a trained substitute! The wait is always ridiculous and I know for a fact it doesn't bother the staff because the donors are there for one reason only. So the staff doesn't need us as much as the donors need what they're in the center after. The staff just have no sense of compassion and lack common table manners unless audit staff are around. This center can definitely use improvement and cross training staff with an already medical certification
The worst service I ever had this morning 9-06-2022 both ladies in the front was very aggressive rude to me for no reason, and after requesting for A Manager I wasn't treated as a customer. And still I haven't spoken to Manager yet. I had ride from Tempe location in the hottest seasons in Arizona, not only I wasting my time but my energy as well. I was hoping for the $125 but instead I got $20, by the time I got home it was spend for my own health, the closest store was Walgreens and Umbrella cost over $17
I was a new donor and it went surprisingly fast and smooth. It wasn't that busy but it was about 7:20am when I got there. I expected there be a long line and there wasn't. Employees were very good also all of them. I do recommend this place to anyone.
I just tried to donate plasma this morning as a new donor at 13550 West Van Buren Street location. I got to the "New Donor" reception desk with my Social Security Card, State Driver's License, and proof of address all ready to be processed. There weren't very many donors at that time of day since that location had only been open for thirty minutes. I waited for some time and one of the workers walked past the desk from behind. I know she saw me, but she didn't say anything, not even "someone will be right w
Love the remodel ??,looks amazing.
As several people said before me, the person who is responsible for accepting new donors is rarely there so it is very inconvenient for new donors. It also takes several tries to get someone to pick up your call. Here is an outline of my "endeavors" with this site even before donating: #1. I sent an email to check if they preferred making appointments for new donors. No replies for a week and a half. #2. I called a few days before dropping by to check again if they needed me to make an appointment. It too
It's always such a great experience there at this center. what a positive atmosphere. Good people. Today I want to thank all the staff for being so patient with me even though I was in such a hurry. They all followed proper procedure. There has not been a single time I've ever experienced a bad donation all the staff there know what there doing.
Staff is absolutely great....however, the new ownership has lowered the amount paid for donation which is very unfortunate. To the owner (kedplasma) You literally sell plasma for millions yet you skimp people on 20$ a week for donations like you can't afford it? Just because of that cheap move, I'll look somewhere else whether they pay less or more. I donate to help people fortunately. I don't need the money, but to skimp even farther down is ridiculous. Typical take over and squeeze corporate mentality in
First I gave them car registration for proof of address but they wouldn't take it so I had to go get actual mail. Second, they made me go get full meal before start a process. Third, after waiting 2 HOURS, they told me I cannot donate because I take asthma medicine more than twice a week and he told me unless my asthma is Controlled I cannot donate which is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard because my asthma is controlled by medicine. This question should?ve been the first thing they ask that way p
Staff is good but Alexis she amazing because even though i have no complaints of other but with her i nvr have issues allows for fast donation so when i go i ask for her????????
Hello everyone I went with my husband and I did not know you could bring no one with you so I was sitting down and this overweight lady came up to me and said I had to leave even 112 degrees out there I asked her can I stay in the part where you come in she even said no to that also that's why I'm giving them no stars at all she knew how hot it was out there like she could not even give me a pass until he was finish also she was rude .
I Donated today November 14, 2021 but my last donation they actually forgot to give me the Celine, I wasn't compensated for it I was just giving a Gatorade and then sent out the door the manager is one of those managers that will defend his employees even if they did something wrong Shouldn't be doing things wrong in this field little room for error. Besides the manager and that one employee that forgot to give me Celine they're all pretty good at their job
The only reason I wouldn't want to leave a good review is to not ruin a good thing. I like the shortest, quickness of lines. The Phlebotomists here are good and Sociable. As well as the Vital takers. Very professional atmosphere. Very well maintained and clean, which is comforting. Just wish the pay was a BIT higher for each donation, like $40, $50, $40. I'm not sure where the donation bottles go afterwards or how much the Plasma Center gets paid per Bottle, but it'd be interesting to know. That's my only "
If I could give them 0 stars I would - dumb lazy and seriously incompetent staff. Less than helpful with a terrible attitude. Called ahead twice to verify required information- clueless staff and very poor management? Who hate their respective jobs need replacement- don't waste your time! Owner needs to take a seriously hard look at competent staff replacement if they truly care about service and not just the$$$. Will be calling corporate!! Go elsewhere if you value your health. Owner was too lazy and inco
Place has about much personality as a cactus. Everyone here have the hate my job mentality and act like they are better than everyone. The receptionist is a very very?.not friendly human (keeping it PG)
COURTNEY is the best and Deanna. Always great customer service. Very friendly and helpful. Keep it up homies !!!
This is my spot! They have the best management team, the best payouts, the best bonuses and the best staff. Shout out to Nicole, Veronica, both Vanessa's, both Jesus's, Courtney, Bridget, Gunther, heck the whole team! I just moved here from Atlanta almost 6 months ago and they've really made my transition easier. Thanks guys and gals!
This place is a joke I got turned away for BP and that's fine but did some research and you can still donate as long as your not over 180 in which I wasn't close the first test. I come back a week later and Im not eligible to use the kiosk so I talk to the guy and he says I have to see a medical professional , ok fine , well they are not their today he says they will be back tomorrow. I'm not coming back here because I've wasted gas and time from where I have to drive from.
Love coming to donate here. Friendly service, good pokers are Mando, Diana & Yaya!!! Go save a life today.
I would give if they were open 6 or days. They just extended their hours. But if you have job it's hard to get your dais for your bonuses. Other than that workers very friendly not long wait. Usually early opening time id's when there is wait time art kiosk check in. Some places pay a little more but have you go farther out. Texas the plasma places Pay better than here. But I'm no longer in Texas.
First time donating here. Absolutely disastrous. There super short staffed. They don't allow first time donors front of the line, extremely slow. It's rediculous. They have literally only 5 staff working. I wouldn't recommend this plasma center. And they keep it extremely cold like freezing. So cold you can't use your fingers to even pump.
Good Customer Service but they Turn away more people than they Accept. I called Monday and was told I need A ID social and letter with proof of address so I go there Tuesday to find I gotta eat before so I got back Wednesday to find I need a letter within 30 days then I get there with a later and everything and get halfway through all the screening process and then To only find I cant give blood because my protein was too High. I won't be back
Turned me away 3 times first time because "it would take to long for a doctor to see me", then they didnt tell me what I needed to properly sign up and finally I had some fruit for breakfast but thats not enough to be considered a full meal so I was turned away again. Waste of time.
Yaya always goes above and beyond to make sure that im comfortable while i donate and always hits my vanes with no issues
The facility is very clean so thats one star and the staff is very friendly so thats another...BUT...it TAKES forever to go thru the process just to be able to donate if you are on birth control or if you were a dependent in the military. Their kiosk is totally messed up and makes u see medical which ALWAYS takes 20 mins to an hour to see because they for some reason have no way to fix their kiosk to be like EVERY SINGLE OTHER PLASMA CENTER so if u take birth control or were a dependent in the military u do
I was here three times. They looked at my ID 3 different times. On the last visit, I waited an hour, then they sent me to lunch for an hour (not in my budget), then I sat for another two hours to be waited on. Then I was informed that I was too old. I had just turned 66. My doctors put me through every single test they could come up with. Reportedly I have a heart of a 20 year old, I take no RX, I have perfect bloodwork, perfect blood pressure, etc, etc. The clinic takes your blood pressure on the sp
I give 3 stars because of one thing. When taking vitals they tell you to sit back down for about 5 to 10 minutes. I have no problem doing so. However if the time to redo my vitals is up and they have a line of people waiting for vitals I have to go back to the end of the line and wait another 15 minutes even when it was just to recheck my BP or take my temp. This literally takes less then a min. They should have it so that those who are doing retakes can get in first because a retake takes less time. I
I don't recommend going to that place at all. If I could give it 0 stars I would I have had nothing but trouble from that place you think that it would be a better experience considering I'm putting my time in to help others in my opinion the employees there could be a little better at there bed side manner and at their jobs.
So, my husband and I just moved here and wanted to find a plasma donation center. This one is clean and really close to our house. My husband went in and made an appointment (or so he thought) for 9 am this morning. He gets there and they ask him to wait till 10 am. He does in the hot sun, drinking water and goes back in. He is told that they are too busy and he needs to make an appointment. He says he thought that's why he came at 9 am. He was told that no, it was only a call back. So, he asks if he can ma
This place is great but after my last visit I'm greatly disappointed and frustrated with this facility. I did not get paid for my last donation and the person (who I will not name) was extremely unprofessional and kept saying how he didn't want to be at work and barely helped me. Because of his lack of professionalism and caring for being there I did not receive my payment. I've been trying to contact BPL and still no response.
This place is dirty and the ?phlebotomists? have no medial idea what they're doing more often than not they miss the vein or go straight through the vain. This place is only worth the first couple visits when they pay $125 once it goes to $50 you're safer getting a part time job somewhere
The staff is well trained.. Professional and courteous. The plasma ctn is clean and well lit. You never get the impression that you are less than them. Lots of smiles and a relaxed atmosphere.
Many issues at this location.. Tried to go in last week on a Wednesday as a new donor, but was told they weren't taking any more new donors, since the person that does the physicals was leaving early that day. Tried again this past Tuesday, and with only two new donors ahead of me, it took 2 1/2 hours to even get looked at due to being short-staffed (surprise) and their IT system running super slow, only to be told I couldn't donate because of a visual disability that had no effect on my blood. I've had no
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is rude and don't know what they are doing. Since I've been going I've seen at least 5 people end up in the hospital. Someone even messed up my brothers vein. A guy even Passed out. definitely looking for a different place. Do not go to the BPL in Goodyear.
They have alot of issues with returning donors being blocked by their system. They dont look at the paperwork from other centers. This center has only allowed me to donate 1 time and keep saying I donate elsewhere which I dont. Which I called this other center and they dont have me in their system. I do understand people make mistakes, But this is completely out of control. Maybe the staff needs trained in paying attention to detail and donors names. This is seriously disturbing. If I cant donate this week
Really nice staff. Starting donating over the last month. Each time has been filled with respectful employees with a positive disposition. Very clean environment. Staff expresses care for your well-being.
I've been coming here for about 2 years and I showed up on Monday and they ate now paying less. Its now 1st donation $50 2nd $70. And 8th donation bonus is only $20. Gotta find another donation place now.
They have people working there that don't know what they are doing. I got stuck in both arms then one guy called another guy over to check my arm out then he had to re arrange the needle about 3 times in that arm. Then pulled out that needle. Then stuck me in the other arm, had to call another woman over and had to re arrange that needle about 4 times. After that was all said and plasma began to go into the bottle then stopped at about a 4th of the way. Then the machine started beeping saying it was a high
Always a great experience, clean environment, and pleasant people like Dianna, Yaya, Alexis, Maria and Taneeah
Fat lady with the beard up front has problems going on in her life that she obviously brings to work cos why else is she so unapologetically miserable? She talks to people as if she isn't the weirdo with poor grooming habits as if she's better than you.
Good way to earn some extra cash. The staff is very friendly and very professional. This place is really clean I would recommend to anybody L not only do you get money but you help save lives.
Love coming here to donate. Courtney helped me out when I initially got started. She was awesome and made the process easy.
They lock the doors before 6pm closing time. I understand everybody wants to go home but when you rush over here from work and arrive before 6 and the doors are already locked it's discouraging. I'll be going to the other location from now on. 0 stars.
They have the most amazing staff. From the minute you walk in your treated like a friend. I love that they call me by my name. I recommend checking them out.
The guy whit the long hair is Rude and thinks he knows how to find you good arm to donate. He don't even make a effort he should be fired he Bruce my arm more than once
The staff are excellent and Blessed, may they receive the praises they deserve. God bless and Good luck??
Great Staff!!! I really appreciate this center. And I highly recommend if you wanna give back and be paid at the same time I say this is the place
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
