Reviews Summary

Overall, reviews are mixed but lean positive, with many praising friendly, professional staff and efficient processes. However, complaints highlight understaffing, slow service, inconsistent pay, and occasional unprofessional behavior. Some donors report excellent experiences with minimal wait times and skilled phlebotomists, while others cite issues like painful procedures, poor vein handling, and frustration with payment reductions. Cleanliness and staff camaraderie are frequently noted positives, but operational inefficiencies and occasional neglect of donor comfort detract from the experience.

Unprofessional and terrible bed side manner when it comes to most of the male staff here! First visit was horrible and I should have left. I donate to do a good deed and also make extra money. Not all staff are rude but most are. Once my machine went off I had to sit there and watch two other people get unhooked after mine went off and getting skipped over! I don't care if you don't like me I'm a client who's done nothing to deserve the poor customer service! Will be finding out if I can go elsewhere! These

I love that when I called, I got a live person with answers to my questions. I had called 2 other local places . The first never picked up the call and the second refused to answer my questions, telling me to just come in. The employees clearly enjoy their job and it went quickly. Kudos to all!

I Iove donating here so much, truly. Great staff and attentive to care of each donor. However, if you don't come before 3:00, you're in trouble. Having 1 phlebotomist on the floor and no staff to take down finished donors with 10+ donors waiting is pretty frustrating. Definitely need more staff to accommodate the # of donors coming in during the afternoon/evening hours. I do love donating here and think they do such a great job and facility quality and ensuring happiness of all donors.

Absolutely ridiculous. I set an appointment for 3:30pm and arrived 10 minutes early just for them to tell me after a 45 minute drive that they can't honor it because of low staff. Why even let me set the appointment! Now my time and gas has been wasted because of their incompetence. I even tried calling beforehand, but it never let me get past the automated voice messaging system. I won't ever come back.

Everything was great! The checkin process went smoothly. The staff was VERY friendly! I gave four stars because it was overly cold in the facility and I froze! Blankets should have been provided if temperature kept that cold. I will go back but will bring a blanket next time!

Visiting 5361 Mt View Rd, Antioch, TN 37013 and you guys did a GREAT job! ???? hats off to you. My normal home center use to be Aurora Il on Hill St but now it's 4760 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60632.. I've also visited the Pennsylvania location. Very convenient that OP is located is lots of different places that I have access to on the road and could use some extra money.

I've been coming here few months now. No issues. Much cleaner then a lot of plasma places I've been in Florida. The only thing I don't like about this place, is it's in a very sketchy area.

They a bunch of bull I always have a good experience when I go but how can a machine determine how much you get paid I'm there I made it to the $70 tier but they want to say because the machine is why my money went down to 60 hematocrit my weight none of that ever affects the payment that I get when I used to go to other plasma centers like Grifols and CSL like I said I always have a good experience when I go but for as my money that is the only reason I go to give plasma that is the reason anybody goes to

Couldn't donate because I had surgery almost a year ago when I planned with the facility and was told I could come back after 6 months. I am not on any meds and fully recovered but it's all good found another place more accommodating and very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Friendly, very helpful, and professional staff. I've had an enjoyable experience each day I visit. Would highly recommend this location to anyone interested in donating plasma.

Great staff, seemed like a nice community, and was very clean. Overall nice experience to donate here

Had an issue with payment BUT Toby the manager was very nice and understanding. He corrected it quickly. I didn't have to wait long to be hooked up and was thanked as I left. Overall a good experience

The whole process was easy and fast. Everyone was very nice and informative through it all. I will continue to donate.

Very clean and professional staff?.Tyler was great to work with!

I love your guys! From Aurora, IL, Chicago Pennsylvania and Antioch, TN. I've NEVER had a bad experience. People are so nice. But then again I treat everyone the way I want to be treated. The only thing I would change is sometimes the wait to check in can be long. Especially Chicago they don't go by the way you check in they seat you at a bed and fill rows at a time. So if the person sticking is faster in the row behind you then let's say during the checking you're at the front of the line now all of a sud

They have always treated me fair, fast service, and they talk to you on a friendly level. #OctapharmaLove

Great Reception nice employees clean environment. Better than Grifols.

I'm a vampire so I love this place! Rheta really knows how to get that needle in and bleed me! I love coming here for the quality entertainment, and I'm not just talking about what's playing on the TV, either.

Went through the whole procedure and got to physical part and told you I had hip replacement and they turned me away, Nobody told me before that would exclude me

Davi is a great and assisted me through everything thank you again DAVI and octapharma

Never picks up they phone , doesn't let the internet know they closings early and they close the doors at 6 instead of 7

Tyler is awesome! First he made sure I was set to donate plasma when the system wasn't allowing new donors. Then my car wouldn't start and he made sure I was in a safe space and comfortable! He also helped to make sure I found out what was wrong with my car! Who knew you could get that type of support from a Plasma donation program! I'd refer everyone to come and support Octapharma Plasma it's definitely family oriented! You get a good chuckle, friendly staff, safe environment, and a piece of change when yo

Staff is great..... Especially ms Mia, Mike and Terri.... They always make my day better

I love this place all the people here are wonderful very nice and makes you feel comfortable couldn't ask for a better place to give plasma

Octapharma tested me positive for HIV. I immediately went to my Dr. I tested negative. Octaphama won't accept my Dr's results, said it was company policy to only use their results. Now I am banned for life on the NDDR.I can't donate plasma, blood or Organs. Thanks Octapharma. I want to be removed from the NDDR. This is not right. The FDA says you can retest me. Why are you ignoring this post? this is a response to your response which took 2 yrs. very slow. you stated you follow strict FDA rules. the why

Yall this center was absolutely fantastic!! They were very friendly fast and attentive. My first time I was in and out in extremely fast. Ive been to a few centers. This is the best center in Nashville for sure. The wonderful ladies working the night shift make everything go so nice and smooth. They are all so very friendly n always try and connect with each person as a individual. Great group of employees for sure.

Very approachable with questions. Answered all my curiosity. Calm environment. Took good care of me. Bring a throw blanket if you can, donation area is a bit chilly but thats for our safety

I think this facility is very good! The employees are very friendly and get you in and out! My only negative feedback is that the employees do not do ANYTHING quickly. It is kind of as if they just mope around and drag their feet.. I don't know if it's just how I was raised but whenever I had or have a job I do it correctly and I do it quickly, these employees purposely do everything very slowly..it takes them 5 minutes to open a band-aid. All I'm trying to say I guess is they are very very slow on their fe

OctaPharma's employees are great: kind, helpful, and attentive. But there's not nearly enough of them; they've got a skeleton crew trying to do the work of a staff twice their size. That makes things take longer. The pay schedule is pretty good. It's not going to pay your rent, but it will add a welcome cushion to your budget.

Worst place ever I have been given the run around at least 4 times. Starting with the call center I find it out the number is a 615 number but I'm not even talking to anybody that lives in Nashville. So immediately there is so much inconsistencies and misinformation. I can't get a legit response or answer until I get to the center and then they tell me unfortunately because of _____ You can't give plasma. Which sucks because I called about _____ to make sure and the person on the call center says something

Payment system isn't great too low paid more at other centers.

My first visit here was great. The check in process and pre-donation screening were seamless. I didn't wait long before I was called, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. My first day went fine, it was painless and quick. The second donation was my final, I still have PTSD lol. When someone complains about pain, please do not respond with "it's supposed to hurt." Please be patient with us and take the time to tend to our comfort. I know it may be 'annoying' or 'time consuming' but it's worth it

I LOVE TYLER AND DAVI AND MIA BUT ONE THE OTHER NOTE EVERYBODY IS SO WELCOMING!! And have the best demeanors definitely 10/10

I had to walk almost 10 miles to get there due to the bus I caught was the wrong bus. But once I got there and was greeted by the staff, it was worth every step . They treated me as if I was the most important person there . Anthony, was just the best! He not only did his job, but kelp checking on me throughout the whole process. I can't wait to go back Wednesday and get the star treatment again. May Allah bless each and every one of them. ?? I was just there Friday and got the Star treatment again. I was

I Would Like To Say That This Is The #Oooonnnnneeee PLASMA SPOT all the employees are amazing from the front crew to the back AMAZING JOB EVERYONE but too top off my Girl Danicia amazing work Good Job , Excellent & just top notch. ????My girl always knows her sticks & she always remembers to read me the Octa pharma RULES . GOOD job , best employee ????????????

I've been donating at Octapharma for a while now, and more than not they're a great team. I've had one incident, but I'm not going to let that determine my review. More times than not, 9 out of 10 times, they're great. I do like to keep in mind, they are human in a difficult field I think. They always come together for a more than good job. Nice place to donate in Antioch.

Laterria and Davi are the best. They have the best sense of humor, are very professional and are a pleasure to interact with. Also, love the way they both perform the stick.!!

Clean location, great employees, smooth process and they all seem to get along well ?? my only thing is that I don't feel I need 6-8 layers of bandage around my arm when leaving

My absolute favorite place to donate plasma! Everyone is super chill and friendly. And it's never too crowded. Thanks Octapharma!

Love Love Love Octapharma && All The Staff! Everyone Always Greets You With A Smile . Ricky , Danica ( Sorry if miss spelled ) Tyler Ect ARE GREAT! I'll Forever Donate At Octapharma ?? They're Like A Second Family .

Unprofessional. The workers will literally sit there and talk and flirt with each and with whoever. Barley know how to stick and you'll will always see a new worker each time you in there. I've had to get a sample took about 3 times and my protein levels was way above 7 like what's the point ? They don't answer the phone so you definitely go up and you mostly going to wait when you go up there because they going to look at you and get back to whatever they was doing. I don't recommend at all . Bad experienc

Conisha, Michael, and Bryan, and James THEY ARE/WERE AMAZING, despite my nervousness, their bedside manners are immaculate, kept conversations going and gave great information. My first time ever, they made the experience beautiful !

Terri, Davi, Tyler, Justin, & all the he rest of the staff do amazing work and are always super nice!

Rheta was so kind and fun! She definitely made todays visit fun!! As well as Corey, he was nice and helpful! Over all the entire staff on all shifts that I've encountered have been amazing!!

Still to much talking and horsing around not efficient. Seems to be no respect for client time. I wish I could give zero stars

Octapharma has been my go to clinic this past year! They are so helpful and easy going. The staff is great and they never miss a beat on their customer service! Katelyn is my absolute favorite! Everytime I come in they never disappoint me! Hands down the best plasma center in Nashville!

They Are very attentive to your needs I was a little nervous for the first time and it was a piece a cake and a blessing to help

Let me start by saying that, until recently, I hadn't donated in a long time so I don't know the temperature of most donation centers. Many of my donations went well. There were, however, a couple where some big personalities seemed to interfere with the process. Some senior members of the staff, mostly males, seemed to bring their personal life to work. I have had to wait for a good five minutes a couple times to get my finger pricked, blood pressure taken, etc, while 3 or 4 staff were hanging out and talk

Everyone was helpful and polite. Only had to give a sample this time and it was done quickly in under 15 min.

The staff here are super knowledgeable and friendly. Sometimes it takes a while to get thru if they are busy but so is everywhere else. The facility is super clean and I feel welcome everytime I walk thru the door. If you are scared of needles you may not like this place as much as I do. I don't mind the stick and sometimes I find it quite enjoyable, especially while getting paid to help people in need. It's like a triple win here.

I alway an amazing experience at Octapharma. I have been done eating with them for over half a year. Not only is the staff helpful and polite but also the initial process which normally takes 3 hours was more than cut in half. Quick and easy I was able to feel comfortable in that I am helping save lives and putting some extra money in my pocket. Thank you Octapharma staff:-) -Naomi O.

Great way to make some side cash, practically painless unless the person sticking you needs more training. Which not to leave a bad review but I strongly believe they could use another course or more patience and understanding on how to do the procedure. I used to go to bio life plasma until I moved cities, so now the closest one is octapharma. There have been a couple/few times where I had came in and received services to where I had to second guess if I should let this person/persons work on me. The other

Facility is very clean and is great about keeping hygiene at the top of their priority list. The staff is personable, attentive, professional, and friendly. I will continue to recommend and refer friends and family to this location!

Compared to BPL in bowling green Ky this place is slow. Seems like they only have 1 speed. 1 person doing all the work while others sit in the office or standing around talking to one another, Laughing and Joking around when they could be working. Extremely unprofessional.

HEADS UP: they defer random people based on "failed protein samples" . Hence why this center is ALWAYS virtually empty compared to EVERY OTHER plasma center. They like it like that. I've donated at csl for 5+ years and never had a "protein sample " problem. I take care of myself and eat TONS of meat, nuts and protein because im not a fan of carbs and sweets. My screening numbers are always excellent, but somehow the lab test always comes back as a "failed protein sample" which gets me deferred for a week, t

Stephanie was really amazing. She helped with all my questions and even went the extra mile to explain why you should stay at one plasma center and not keep switching and switching. She has a very outgoing attitude about working at octapharma. Great employee if you ask me.

Took a while to get thru new donor Process , But they appeared to be a little shorthanded other than that staff was pleasant to deal with ,nurses stuck well thank God. And the pay is competitive with the rest of them out there.

Very friendly staff, it stays packed and is understaffed, the picture on the tv's go in and out as well as the sound so make sure to have your own entertainment. For a new facility the bathroom is already run down looking but again the staff clearly know what they're doing and are very professional. I got done pretty quickly once I was hooked up to the machine. They only have one kiosk up and running so it's best to download the app and fill out the questionnaire before hand. No snacks or drinks provided th

Amazing plasma center! I love how everyone makes you feel like family! They always treat me with respect and with open arms! Hands down the best donation clinic I've joined. Gabe is one of my favorites! He's always got a smile on his face and knows how to make everyone feel so welcomed.

I absolutely love this center. I'm always in and out unlike the others where you wait a good while. I have veins that roll and Conisha and Michael are wonderful phlebotomists. They have to fish sometimes but it doesn't hurt. The staff is super friendly and every time I go in there is laughter in the room. I would give them 10 ?? If I could.

Every time I come Dobby seems to be the one to stick me. Always does amazing ????

Friendly and courteous staff. Nicely operated facility. They do have a couple computers down so unless you have a fast pass you may have to wait in line a little longer, but if you come when they're not as busy there's no issue(especially when you use your phone to check in.) Great new donor program and referral programs are available, but you have to pass a health screening. You can only donate plasma if your healthy and weigh at least 110lbs.

Great place to donate because the place for cleanest and staff are A-1. I would highly recommend this place to go for plasma donating.

The check in process was ok I had a long wait due to being a lapsed donar and they are severely understaffed or not scheduling enough people. The employees rush sticking you and do not try to get someone else if they can't find your vein. One employee was so unprofessional on the floor. She was very vocal about her unhappiness with her job and coworkers. Who wants to donate when all employees do is complain. I definitely don't want you sticking me and you hate your job! This location could use an overhaul o

I donate plasma for more than just the payment benefits- so when I relocate and need to find a new center, I do my research and choose based on reviews rather than just how much they pay. This Octapharma location has some of the best reviews I have ever seen, so it was a no brainer. Right away the woman working the front desk (Libby) was friendly and welcoming and helped me through the first time donor physical process. The other gentleman working (I don't recall his name) was also great and extremely frien

I like octapharma. I have a few friend on the staff . They are very professional. Helping others is what makes my goals a reality. Thanks Jordan Gabe Justin Tony Nate Brian Camilla Cornishe Doc Cate and Delicious as well as everybody. It helps me me pay my bills. My phone. My car. And everybody that understands the need for plasma ....oh and Sasha. I do ...she was cool like music in the city. I love going to hickory hollow. .......love the staff. Thanks a million. New age radicals.

I've been coming to this plasma place for a good few months now and I would have to say they are awesome here. Very friendly people and they are very quick to get the problems fixed if any. Michael is one of my favorite people also known as (Mike). He is very gentle when he sticks you with the needle and gets it on point every time. They need more people like Michael in the hospital's He is AMAZING at what he does ! ??????

If you're looking for an organization to help make a life saving difference for others in your community and make a little side cash at the same time, then Octapharma is the optimal organization to help you achieve your goal. I can't tell you how pleased I was with my first and second visit. The entire staff was courteous and professional. Octapharma's intake process is extremely fast, and my payment was prompt. Octapharma is a first class organization, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to

Staff is very professional and courteous. Just make sure to dress warm ??.

I have never felt more at home as to when I donate plasma. Davi, Rida are quite outstanding yet very professional staff. When I feel a bit nervous they talk to me in a very profound and respectful manner. They rock.

I was scared of donating plasma but felt comfortable here. The staff is great and super friendly, the initial screening process was fast and each visit was pretty quick as well. I always bring a blanket (it's chilly in there) and watch a show on my phone with my ear bud. The first time I came the phlebotomist messed my vein up pretty good and I had bad brusing for almost 2 weeks and couldn't use that arm to donate for that time. But after that they did great and it was painless other than a little price.

Just wanted to note how friendly Corey was. Awesome experience with him. Didn't even hurt going in ??. Highly recommended awesome staff. Clean building just all around the best experience I have had with this company.

Tyler was super helpful. Thank you all for taking me. Great experience.

Nice, Professional, FAST! They're the best!

The staff was absolutely awesome! BRAVO ZULU! To everyone especially Mia!

Started out okay. They blew one of my veins once. Couldn't physically go back until it healed a week later then they dropped my donation price from 75 to 40 and just because I don't go back twice a week because I work a full time job in the heat all day long they dropped it from 40 to 20. So no. I won't be going back. I was okay with the 40 but I'm not risking this place blowing another vein for 20$. It's not worth it

Fantastic place!!! Best Plasma center in middle TN, hands down!!! They're fast, professional, kind, and the best part, they're easy on the sticks. That's a huge plus for me considering I HATE needles. I have nothing negative to say about them. I'm literally trying to think of something, anything, that's negative and I simply can't do it. If you're trying to donate plasma, Octapharma is the place to go!!!

I have donated plasma a lot throughout the years and this is by far the quickest first time experience and the most friendly I have ever had. The staff is attentive and it is obvious that Octapharma is doing something right because the staff is also very happy to assist. Thank you for making my first time donation with Octapharma a smooth process!

There is no sense of urgency here. If you are not a new donor you could have to watch five people go ahead of you without any consideration for your time. You cannot schedule an appointment if you wish organize your own time. They are on the lower end of the pay scale. Second least professional staff I have encountered anywhere, ever. I walked out today when I overheard them debating ?Who's gonna stick?? Because the most competent of them clocked out and went home for the day. I decided right there that I v

Definitely recommend!!! Von was great and the people here are informative and kind.

The facility is easy to get use to. The staff are very conversational. They show respect and give grace. I enjoy this location the most. Such a positive uplifting thing to do in today's time.

Editing a previous 5 star review to reflect my driving from Columbia today 6/21 for you to be closed for stafff meeting til 8. 15 or more people waiting outside and your team is clearly inside playing around and eating. Coming out to smoke. You're probably also understaffed and will have one phys sub to open. Glad I wasted my time and likely lose the pay tier. Can't wait around for people goofing off and then I'll prepared for the rush.

So far I've had a wonderful experience with donating plasma with octapharma at the Mt. View Antioch location. All of the techs seem to be well experienced as well as the few new techs that are getting out of nursing school are consistently monitored that they are following proper health and safety procedures. Conisha was my first stick ??and would give a 10 outta 10 on bedside manner and highly skilled in phlebotomy no matter who's being stuck. Bryan got me registered quickly on my first day and through th

I was a relapse donor, and the staff is completely new. Gabriel was the only person up front and he made sure we were all taken care of. Even if it caused for him to run around the building. I will be back for sure!

Staff is great! However the pay has gone down for all categories: new donors, return donors and referrals! I rally like the place but am looking into other places that pay more.

I love this place the staff is great Conisha, Mike, Q and Jessica ( red hair). But these very kind I love their energy. In the ones who take your bp and check your iron are very nice. Keep up the great work. Antioch Crew

They are the best plasma place they're fast and efficient.

If u like the ghetto, then yaaaaa.. but the folks are really nice here....so far no ignorance amongst workers.. I've bn to a few centers where everyone is ignorant
