It was ok . No problems really the person that stabbed me was quick and found the vein that other people have had a hard time doing.. he made it look easy. Only suggestion is. Offer a Gatorade or some kind of electrolyte to help replenish. Other than that I will go back
My experience here was great. The process and workers were all quick and skilled. They were all knowledgeable about any questions I had and very friendly.
This place is awful. The machines need updating. They are slow. The employees pay no attention to the machines when they go off. They just stand around and talk. This machine I'm on has been needing someone to come do something to it and they just walk right by me. This is my 8th visit and every visit is like this.
Made the mistake thinking it has changed. Will not be back. Still long waits not enough workers working. Waited in line over an hour with 1 person taking vitals. 15 people in line and no one came to help but others walking around trying to ?look? busy. Then when came up found out someone forgot to scan they did our physical (this was only our 2nd donation) so had to wait another 30 minutes. Heard people in line giving suggestions of other centers so will go there instead. We ended up just leaving. Highly re
Definitely do NOT recommend! They come up with ANY excuse to NOT pay new donor fees! Went over a year ago & got ONE???new donor fee, then they said my protein was too low so my new donor fees just WENT AWAY. Then just recently went in to give a protein sample & left bruised. All for them to tell me my sample did not pass. & The lines are always to the front door! Will not be going back to them!
Today (March 26, 2025) at about 11:30-12ish, I was 98% done with my donation when I noticed something wasn't right (weak, dizzy, nauseous, hot but cold). I managed to flag one of the people on the floor, and they took excellent care of me. Held down my arm to make sure the needle didn't get bent in my arm, got me ice packs on my chest, the back of my neck, and on my belly, they fanned me because even though my skin was cold and clammy, I was complaining of being incredibly hot. They got my blood and saline
I have no issues with this place. I made my first donation on the 20th, and came back on the 22nd for donation 2. I enjoy the atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly.
I had a great experience. Staff was very attentive and friendly. It always helps me to relax in a good atmosphere.
Had my fiance donate, he donated all the time up until March. He got extremely sick from this place and had to be admitted to the hospital for the infection he had gotten from here. They bruise your arm more than half the time and send you off afterwards not even a 15 minute wait to make sure you don't pass out. Strongly advise to go somewhere else.
I very rarely leave reviews, however, this is one business that is most deserving of one! Danielle is unmatched, friendly, professional, and is honest and operates with integrity. Every encounter with her has never been anything less than Examplarly. Thank you for all The-Above-And-Beyond assistance you always continue to provide.
Chelsea was amazing and was super friendly and helped me be comfortable to donate today I refer her to people who come to donate. Busy but got me in n out. Worth the wait.
The girl named Chelsea doesn't know how to stick. After I told her my vein goes up she still went in sideways and blew my vein. I've witnessed her doing this to several other people. She's not good at her job nor does she seems like she wants to be there.
My first three donations I've had zero issues but the last four donations that I've had I feel like I have become nothing but a pin cushion for their pleasure. I have nothing to show for it except severe needle bruise marks that make me look like a crackhead, and they're not even able to actually stick me. So I will no longer be returning as I've voiced my concerns before and they just ignore me, and then pass me along to someone else. It's just really hard working two jobs and needing something like this t
Very clean and beautiful place to go help others who need plasma and staff was also very professional and polite would recommend to everyone
Would not recommend coming to this establishment. Octapharma app stated I was supposed to receive $45 then changed when I got done doing my intake assessment to a measly $25 I live out of town that's basically my gas. Everyone is struggling due to the economy increasing. I will take my business to another plasma donation place. This BUSINESS IS A JOKE?
B honest I give ya all of yaa 10 stars it was easy quick easy money but ya were excellent great priceless couldn't ask for more better than that thank yaai u...good job ..
I don't recommend unless you have time to spend. It always takes at least 2 hours or more. The first hour will be spent in line. They never have more than 2 people. Even when the line is to the door. Today I sat in the chair after being called back for a solid 37 minutes before they actually came and stuck the needle. I make it a point to only come when I absolutely have to. The time spent isn't always worth the pay.
I was deferred for a 5.1 protein in my protein was a 8.7 hope your bosses recognize this so you can understand that the people at the company are making their own decisions and not going by regulations
I don't mind the pay but the wait and privacy is just awful. First off the wait is long and boring mainly because the staff like to play and converse with each other when they should be working, as far as personal information goes, the staff has you say the last four numbers of your social security, your full name, and your date of birth out loud with strangers sitting next to you! I also dealt with staff members who treat you like your in a court house paying fines. It's obvious that management doesn't do
First I would like to say that the phlebotomist in the intake people that check you in are great they always do a great job and make you feel like you are more than just a bottle . Upper management on the other hand do not care about their customers. They violate privacy protection laws that have been set in place and defer people to avoid having to deal with the violations they committed against their customers My privacy protection laws were violated In upper management did not care one bit or address t
It was very clean and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. The process was easy
I had a good time there. My blood would stop flowing, but they fixed it every time. When I was at 70%, my blood clogged again. Some guy came over and started pulling the needle in and out of my arm and moving the needle around in my arm. My arm bruised after that.
Very good on answering questions. There is a time when it is not busy. But I am not telling.
I went to Octapharma and had a really great experience. A phlebotomist named Eric stuck my arm in the process with ease and confidence.
The experience was great and the staff was very professional
Fast and friendly I enjoy my visits at Octapharma!
They always take good care of me!! A great way to help others and earn extra income!
Loved the clean sanitize, place friendly employees, and ready to help and answer questions
I had to complete the screening process since I hadn't donated in a few years. The staff were friendly and positive. The only negative was that veterans aren't eligible for the express service unless we have/had 10 years of duty. Personally, I served two years and was honorably discharged from the Army. That should be reason enough.
Every thing went great very professional workers will recomend to family and friends
I don't like this place the female staff are scandalous and dirty vinegar friendly and having good customer service is one thing but they see are you coming in with your husband and they still flirt with your significant other anyway they act like your not there it feels very uncomfortable and disrespectful
The Hispanic lady staff member with the care bear on her protective mask that screens you before donating purchased a burberry cologne from some random dude while screening the guy in front of me. She completely stopped what she was doing to get the cash app from the dude. She was not being mindful of the time of those waiting in line. She also didn't change her gloves after taking the cologne which was gross because the cologne was not in a box and the dude just pulled it from his pants. She was also talki
They don't know how to do their job right and they don't know how to schedule enough people and they love to cheat out donors out of money so they can elite there bosses there one pocket
It was good it went fast people there was nice there
It was nice clean everyone was perfectionl and polite. Thay talk u throw step by step.. ??
My donations time takes way longer then before your machine is constantly high return not coming back here if this continues workers gotta smash the blood tune I have a concern air could get in the line with this seeming to be the only way to get the blood to return
Very clean an very nice workers.Make me feel safe an in good hands.
I think That the staff was pretty good respectful, and I feel comfortable in this particular donation sooner
Jasmine is very rude and pulls the skin way too hard before sticking the needle. She really made me wanna rip out them damn long ass eyelashes. Mague on the other hand is sweet and very good at her job.
Octapharma has amazing staff. Very friendly and helpful. Everyone I have dealt with has been an excellent experience for me. Thank you for being one of the best. Thank you and God bless each of the staff members there
Employees were polite and explained everything during the process. Facility was clean and welcoming. Donation payout not as high as some other places but over all great place.
It was fine as a new donor. Recently everyone has been moving really slow, there is no sense of urgency here. Two times ago I waited in my chair for 45 min before they finally stuck me. Also I have been going the maximum amount for a couple months and the app worked my way up to $65. I had been making $55. Yesterday they only paid $45. I don't understand how I went down so drastically. You can't call the location, they block customer service calls. And the website bot doesn't help either. Time to look for a
Exceptionally caring and friendly staff!!! Everyone is so lovely, attentive, caring, professional, and hard working. Every single person I encountered during the new donor process was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable!!! In particular shout out to CLINTON, STEPHANIE, and the young African American gentleman who unhooked me from the machine. Stephanie: thank you for taking such good care of me and being my personal air conditioner when I got whoozy towards the end of donation; you're such a sweetheart.
Great experience. First time is gonna be at least 3 hours maybe little less. Expect alot of questions and blood tests also physical. Second time was much easier about an hour. Just ask questions and be patient and respectful. It gets easier and more enjoyable knowing that while making a little extra money you are saving lives and helping our community! Eat good and drink lots of water everyday and at least day before day of and day after to keep up with protein and hydration. It does not affect me the same
Nice staff and the facility is very clean.
I have been going for now four months and I have always had a great experience. Everyone is always very friendly.
The staff is always so friendly. They make you feel comfortable. The staff greet you throughout the building, and get to know you by having a conversation with you while your waiting or donating & If it seems busy or there's a line they get you out pretty fast.
Really great staff! So nice and professional!????????
It was a straightforward process. Staff are attentive and know what they're doing. Very talkative too while you're sitting on the bed donating, if you're open to engaging. The line is rather long and I assume it's because I come in just before 5 when people are getting off work, it's on average just about an hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours if it's not your first time. The first time is longer since they need to get you all set up, but it is worth the wait. Overall my experience here is great. You're mor
I loved how friendly every staff member I dealt with was to me.
Everyone was awesome but Nora really took her time to explain very helpful things that no one ever had. Nora was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable.
Very poor. I had issues with donating plasma the whole time. Staff were very unprofessional an treated me very poorly. I will never come back . I was traumatized, an had to go to the ER. They couldn't return my blood back to me . I became very dehydrated and my blood purser went up. Staff should have not been joking around with other staff. They should have been paying more attention. I raised my hand multiple times an was ignored almost the whole time. It was not ok to treat people that are donating to
Update: Had my third visit. Went flawlessly. Clean environment, staff are kind and very professional. No pain, no discomfort. The app makes it quick and easy to check in, easy to use. I would recommend this place to anyone. Changing from 4 stars to 5. I like going here, it is a very convenient location for me. Most of the staff are kind, some carry themselves professionally. I've been twice, first time was left with bruise and discomfort, second time was completely fine. The people who come to this locatio
When they stick u they r very gentle and it doesn't hurt. They come back and check on u many times to make sure u r okey. Also the pay sucks wish they give u more. But I will keep going back. I also don't like when u miss your pay drops.
The Less you go, you're payment's will drop. Instead of crying. Just don't go. If you want your payment to stay at 65 go twice a week every month. If you don't want 65 twice a week. Don't go. It's your choice. There not making you go There not making you donate. It's all your choice. So why cry over a choice you made.
Everyone is so nice and helpful it's really clean the bathrooms are well kept the staff is so friendly whoever came first goes first. They do everything in an orderly fashion if people can have patience One girl I was sitting next to was asking when was she going to get jabbed ?? and the man politely said these two guys are ahead of you and then you'll go next. You're right after them. He was very respectful.
Great staff, very friendly, made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Way better than a couple of other places I have visited. Thank You
In todays economy they still dont up pay. Other center pay more, we should be treated better for our donation's. The plasma center makes 2,000 up to 5,000 per person's donation's yet pay out crap. Then wonder why ppl walk out or move to another center.
It's was a very pleasant experience and the staff was friendly n professional. And Yolanda at the screening was so very sweet. I recommend them to my friends n family
Today was a little frustrating, come prepared to wait. But to be ignored, walked by and look you in your face and not say a work. I was there over 3 hrs. I understand being short handed, tired and perhaps over worked. Some things can be avoided. If nothing else acknowledge your clients. I waited patiently 2 hrs before I was connected. Watching several people after me getting connected. Plus the trainee set up my machine incorrectly. I feel I should have been moved to one of the seats near me, but ins
This place is good employees are nice and friendly but fail on urgency. The pay is good but it sucks tht they don't do bonuses like Csl or kedplasma does or even bday bounes. But all in all I would recommend this place to friends but they probably don't do friend referrals bounes.
Been coming here for a while. Everything?s been fine up until these last 2 weeks, I didn't receive my payment for my July 18th donation (AKA free plasma for no payment) the donation center and call center offer absolutely 0 help. Bouncing back and forth with each other and relaying me the same message ?I cannot help you?. I think it's mind blowing that you people find it acceptable to take blood from some one separate the plasma from it, push the blood back into said person, and at the end not pay them a di
To be honest they have many flaws in their system but it's worth the money even if I have to stand in line for w hours before I donate still the quickest money I can make. Express passes are the biggest problem they let ever express pass go before the line even if 6 or 7 people come on back to back so then the line won't move. I think it would be better to let one express pass go and then someone from lineage it every other person so it's not so unfair to the rest of the group of people. Also they have some
The redheaded girl Sarah was very quick and gentle and polite when trying to help people get wrapped up and paid id say she needs a raise good place to donate ??
I encourage positive communication and expression I had to asked Aaron, was he trying to offend me when he began to explain scientific examples of African-American people. Sometimes it's best to keep your opinions to yourself! I should have asked for an escort with my physical, but of course that won't happen again! A mixture of hatred and uneducated ignorance plus racism would sum it up!
Takes too long to be seated after screening! It shouldn't take 30 minutes to be stuck while employees are laughing and talking! And it's not fair that they are always under staffed just to save money! There should never be 20-30 empty bed because of not enough workers! I'm military and there is no real leadership there when these things are the normal there! Way too many chefs and not enough Indians!
Wife went to donate and it's freezing out..she was told she can't wait 9 minutes for a ride indoors..that's not how you treat people..they have zero times to approach me in this manner..
Intake was great Lexy Miles went above and beyond to help me and my son feel very comfortable! My son has real bad anxiety and scare of anything he has no control over but Mrs Lexy put him at ease!!
Octapharma Plasma is a professional and clean facility with friendly staff who make the donation process comfortable. However, they may not mention upfront that if your initial finger prick doesn't pass, you'll need another one on your next visit and may have to wait additional days to continue donating. Despite this, it's still a reliable place to contribute to a good cause.
I love to help people that very much need on typ of my plasma, for meds and blood as well.. the associates at this location that took my plasma or sensational I really didn't feel a thing really didn't and that's a big thing cuz I had my arm tore up by other other places but they were great awesome people.
Always friendly and prompt service with a smile... family atmosphere. Where they know you by name
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Yesterday they sent my husband to the ER because their employee decided she wasn't going to listen to him saying there was something wrong 3 times as he was there because he felt something was wrong. This morning we got a call from the medical person there at the location and all she stated was that the girl who was attending my husband needed training. She neglected him and his concerns and the machine was going off and she reset it and just told him don't wor
Every staff is respectful with great customer service and always clean place that they are doing good job all the times
You know what, I'm not afraid to sound a cheese ball lol if it's something in general like a needle I am uncomfortable with, and every single person that I have dealt with has been friendly, funny, and helps keep my mind away from that, it speaks to how personable a place is, then I don't mind spreading the word about how great this place is. Yesterday I went in, and the young lady who screened me, remembered that I didn't like needles, I was like wow, that's impressive, how many faces do you see? All I hea
The staff are quick and very professional ?? I love how it's been remodeled scince the last time I've been there !
Octapharma is super clean. I haven't been there in over three years but they've revamped the whole building inside and it is awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful no questions too stupid and they make you feel like your truly cared about.
Came in to donate after not donating in about a year. I let them know all the info had not changed, and they said that I was good to go then. I specifically made sure I didn't need mail again, because my id has another city on it. After spending over an hour doing the new donor stuff again, I am told I need mail to verify my address because it didn't match my ID. I wasted over an hour of my time for absolutely nothing.
Besides the one or two that are good, that take their time to stick, and not busy talking or rushing the process! To many young workers talking the whole time laughing playing and rushing the sticking process, infiltrated my right arm as soon as she stuck me, and left arm was a no flow couldn't find my vein and this is two times already same girl! But it's no surprise because the whole section she works always has a lot of problems I can tell no flows and having people to fix her sticks! Y'all need better a
Consistently having to wait in the bed on the donor floor for the amount of time it takes to make an actual donation. I have scoliosis and having to spend and hour and a half to two hours in that position makes it extremely uncomfortable. I also feel like us donors are treated like cattle most days, just another number. No personal connection or acknowledgment of long wait times. I still donate because I have to, but it's no longer an enjoyable experience like it used to be. Thank you for your time.
This place is great!! Kayla is fantastic and on top of it. Jacob was very helpful and informative. Mackenzie was really nice and well educated. Sol was welcoming, helpful and sweet. I was nervous about donating but the people there were awesome. I definitely recommend.
I love this place!!!!! Friendly staff!!!!... Awesome team!!!!!! It's funny how people complain about the lines and slow staff(,which they are not). You're going on your own free will. Nobody told you to go. If you were at work you'd have to wait.a.wewknor two to get paid right. So why wait an hour or two to get paid for basically doing nothing but laying there.
I must say sticking with a donation place is critical. I went back to Octapharma and the process is so much more safer than going anywhere else ( my opinion). The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and very welcoming to returning donors, current donors and BUT OF COURSE NEW DONORS.. OMG!! To be honest they are thorough and professional with all donors. I am so thankful that I made the right decision to come back to Octapharma .. to be able to save a life and to know they are protecting my life as well.. I MUST
Makes people wait outside in the heat of day. An won't let them wait where it's cool. What someone has a heat stroke sitting in the parking lot. Y'all can an will be sued for that if it happens.
It may say it's not busy right now but every step is extremely slow because they are severely understaffed. I've been here for well over an hour and they still haven't gotten me set up.
The phlebotomist completey missed my vein and was literally digging the needle around in my arm trying to find it. Talk about Painful!!!
Great place friendly and fast service
I went to Octapharma Plasma about a week ago for the first time, my wife and I. We were greeted kindly and we were immediately helped and directed to what we needed to do. The first time donor process was quick and very organized. The people working there were kind and made this process feel like if we have been there before. It's a clean and very professional business. Being there for our first time it only took about maybe 30 minutes until we were actually donating already. And they were kind enough to si
Unfortunately this place was good till they started slowing down the process after going to the booth , I came in today at 08/19/23 at 9:20am there are currently 4 employees on the donor floor When I came in there was 10 people waiting at the lobby by the time I got done at the booth there was 17 people waiting in the lobby to be sat down. What happen ? This place use to be so fast now it's getting slower and slower I'm a regular donor I shouldnt be here for 2 hours in a half like I'm a new donor . I dona
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
