The staff was very rude. When I tried to provide my prof of identity they tried every way to deny me. The staff Tammi and others did not know their job well and said in correct information. If I asked them questions they seemed annoyed and very rude when answering my questions.This was my first time as a donor and it was a horrible experience. I have been donating plasma for about 5 years and have been to most of the different centers. I like Octapharma in Pasadena the best. Location is always super clean, staff is friendly and they have a sense of humor yet remain very professional. If you're going to donate plasma,.I recommend Octapharma Pasadena ??

Went in for my new donor appt at 1:30, lady that checked me in was very rude and standoffish. I did not feel welcome at all from the start, and made me really dread continuing on with the process. Left right away. I'm gonna try griffols out, hopefully I have better luck.

Very quick and easy process. There are no long lines. The worse is the drive. I live closer to Stella link. But the process in Pasadena is so much better

I do like this place and usally have had quick and easy donation process. However, this time not so much. The technician wasn't as experienced as the others. The time took over 2 hours and I am left quite bruised up. I still have had more positive experiences than negative. So we are at 3 stars today.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint I had was waiting and going to through the process just to be deferred. I think those questions should be asked in the beginning and it'll cut down on some wasted time.

It is very unprofessional, they like to gossip and talk all day and they're not helping guests in line. They need to leave the socializing at home. Also when I'm donating and the machine has no flow or high return pressure they just ignore you! This is the only place that has treated me so bad.

I have not been to any other locations so I can't speak for them, but the Burke and Spencer location has the nicest people. Gloria is my my favorite! Always has a smile on ner face, kind, and likes to laugh. Will forever come to this location as long as I can.

The sticking has gotten worse, hardly any of these ppl are good at it. It's safe to say I'm never coming back! They deserve zero stars.

My experience was bad due to the fact I was told on two consecutive days that I could not donate blood because my vein was not big enough for the only needle they use witch is a 17 gage.This was very unfortunate for me not being able to donate to an excellent cause as well as appalling knowing that I eat very well, I exercise regularly, and drink an extraordinary amount of water and fluids consistently. I honestly do not know why they don't use a butterfly needle seeing that a 17 gage is one gage away from

I have been to the location at Little York before, but decided to try to Pasadena, Texas, as it's a little closer to my residence. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. I will definitely be going back for further donations.

I just wanted to come on here to explain my experience for anyone interested in coming to give plasma and earn some extra income. During all my visits here it has been overall a smooth process coming in and out each time. The first time it takes a while but it worth the wait as your able to get a pretty good payout the first few times. The employees talk loudly and disrespectfully amongst each other while on the floor with the donors. They get loud and holler across the room. I've never had anyone be rude to me but they are not friendly and don't pay enough attention to the donors.

Horrible. Had problems with two numbers missing of my apartment number on my id. Rejected by a person not even a doctor for an eye exam. I haven't complained of any vision problems. My licensed physician had no problem with my eye sight. What does my eyes have to do with with donating plasma? The director of the center wouldn't even meet with me. The staff of Melissa, Jamar and Cris???? (with the perfect white teeth and her eyebrows was superb too??) made my experience smooth. This place cool, it's cold in here to the max tho. So I decided to come back after about a year or so to see if things had improved here, and to no surprise it appears absolutely nothing has changed. I've been in this line since 9:02 am and have literally only moved up just 1 spot since I've been here. There are 5 booths available to conduct screenings however for whatever reason they are only choosing to use 2 when there are currently over 20 people waiting to be screened. This place won't let you donate if you take insulin. The questionnaire specifically asks about bovine or beef insulin but when they do your physical, any type of insulin will get you rejected. Wasted my time coming here. I called as requested and that was absolutely zero help at all. The only response was that I have to go in and go by what they say there. The lady said my protein levels were low and I couldn't donate, I've donated for 3.5 years and not once have I ever had low protein levels, and the lady at vitals already passed me for donation, then the next day they said I couldn't donate because of my protein levels, that's not true and I went to BioLife down the way that same hour and was approved to donate with physical and everything, that wasn't fair and you shouldn't have people working there that can do things like that,

Great staff and smooth stick. But I was not informed at begining of my donation that they were out of saline. I was a "new donor" so I had to give to blood samples in addition to donation. Not having saline afterward made me feel very uneasy and honestly not well. I have donated for years at many locations and I have never been rushed out of a chair and detached from a machine so quickly and without care to my condition. I felt immediately horrible when I left and almost fainted when home. I tried to drink

Jamar was the best! He's so thorough kind and articulate. He made sure I understood everything step by step. All the employees here are sweet and caring and work very hard. I admire their positive attitudes while having to stand on their feet all day and having to deal with some of the interesting people that come in and are not always the nicest.

They could not find a vein so of course i didn't get to donate..I don't get it they are trained for this..they didn't even look real good.it was 7 and they were ready to go home ...I really needed the money so it was a huge disappointment. Idk maybe next time.

I called these people before I drove 28 miles to them to donate and they said I have no deferrals and then I showed up and there was a deferral you guys are ridiculous and you need the new help because the people that work in there are incompetent

This locations used to be so much better back in 2018-2019 when I first decided to donate a follow the schedule they set in place to ensure nobody over donates. Well concluding my recent visit, I got told that I couldn't donate due to a scent coming off me, when asked directly couldn't get a straight answer other then the Supervisor on shift informed the tech that I had a scent of B.O., personally I really doubt it. First plasma center I've seen that not only appeared clean but also smelt clean. Every single one of the staff members were kind, and willing to explain everything in a happy manner. They were not negative or seemed appalled by having to do their job. Very much a welcoming environment!

The staff is so helpful and very nice. They try their best considering it can get over whelming and so busy but yet they still try and work fast to get us in line. Also it is clean and very comfortable, staff ensures you are safe. Due to life circumstances I was enrolled and had to complete the new donor process. Great communication, fast results and they make everything simple and as pain free as possible.

It sucks how much disrespect and disregard for people?s time the employees of the Pasadena TX location have. Personal conversations take place at all times while stations are unattended. The worst part is that management is either participating or otherwise hidden away. I wonder if it'll be the same in a nicer area. The money part is okay, but the place could definitely use many improvements.

Great place to donate. Facility is always clean, staff members are great people and pleasant to deal with. Depending on time of day, you may have a while in line but that's expected when several arrive at the same time. Overall would recommend this location to anyone looking to donate!

As someone who spent many years in the plasma business, my visit to this center today has made me rethink coming to this center. I pass three other plasma companies on the way to this one, but I come because it's the cleanest. I have been sitting on this bed without any recognition whatsoever for going on 30 minutes while employees discuss who they don't want to work with and who they are dressing with on twin day. No management in sight to even notice what's going on. This place seems to have a lot of pot

I typically do not have an issue, the staff is great and other than them taking regular people in front of express pass I come to donate before work so it's early and today everything is extra slow it's 7:20 and nothing is set up. If they open at 7 everything should be set up and ready at 7 not still setting up at 7:20

Staff working the beds are good and, from what I can tell, are as fast as they can be. Some screeners seem to hate their job. I have also experienced the screener allowing "friends" to come in and just skip everyone that has been waiting in line as if procedure doesn't apply to them. Pretty frustrating.

The reason for only 3stars is due to long wait time. Everything else is good the workers are friendly and very good at what they do. Always smiles all around. But only having 2 people doing the check in is ridiculous definitely need to be more when they see the line is long.

I've been going for over a year and their employees are really nice. When they put the needle in your arm, they'll ask you if you're ok before continuing to turn the machines on. Now I'm a big baby when it comes to needles but they make it to where you don't hardly feel it and that makes me like going better. Most of the time the line moves at a decent speed, but sometimes they can't help if they're low staffed but they still try their hardest to get the line moving. I would recommend going.

Staff is very kind. Especially Ashton, and Fred. Ashton is very kind and inviting, a truly refreshing energy, and always working hard. Same can be said for Fred, always laughing and cracking jokes, whilst never letting it interfere with his duties. A great balance in these people. More than good workers, they're good people.

The staff is so helpful. always smiling and treat ppl with respect. Sometimes it gets really busy but they do their best to get you out as fast as possible. The Biggest plus for me is that it is very clean and very comfortable.
