KEDPLASMA Phoenix, AZ

KEDPLASMA Phoenix, AZ

Reviews Summary

The reviews present a mixed but largely negative consensus. Many complain about severe understaffing, long wait times (often 4+ hours), poor communication, and rude or incompetent staff. Issues with incorrect instructions, lost samples, and inconsistent compensation details are frequent. Some positive reviews highlight friendly staff, efficient processes, and good pay, but these are outweighed by frustrations over disorganization, unprofessional behavior, and systemic failures. The center’s cleanliness and occasional perks receive praise, but operational flaws dominate the feedback.

Homeless and shady looking people standing right outside of the front door smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Brought a friend to donate plasma and we were not allowed in because they do not allow children in the lobby. Guess they'd rather have silly rules that make it hard for people to donate than to actually save lives. As I'm writing this I just watched a drug deal happen right in front of the building. Go anywhere else but here

Staff is really nice and if you're a regular donor here they GET to know you pretty good (by name). Been coming here for about 3-4 yrs. If I could give them more stars I would.

Have been coming here for a couple of months now. The service here is usually good and the process takes no longer than about an hour. I recommend coming in the afternoon hours to avoid the longer wait.

I don't know it's just ok, probably just start looking for aanother place to donate soon. Some of there staff is a little rude a little off, the last two times they didn't give me a Gatorade I had to ask. When there giving them out all around. Arent they suppose to pass them out? And I'm pretty sure they unhooked someone one before me when I was done before him . Need to work on there overall staff demeanor and attitude. Were not doing them a favor it's the other way around.

I kept going here and kept getting denied even tho I eat healthy and today I was told that I need.to see medical amd I asked why and she didn't tell me why so I was.waiting for medical took a while and when I went to ask how long it will be they said someone got.sick and thats when the worker final told me that I can't donate today! ?? I don't think I'm never coming back here again!

Highly recommend this place for plasma donation. They pay more and have a much faster process then CSL or biolife! Can come in twice a week and after second donation in one week you get a scratcher ticket and can get express passes to bypass wait lines or cash added onto your donation I got $25

Look, the actual staff members that try are amazing, thank you for attempting to be polite, courteous and professional. That being said, whoever runs this place, needs to help the existing staff. Severely. This building is understaffed, stressed, and I've seen the like contain over 50 donors sitting on the floor for over an hour each. There are multiple plasma centers that DO NOT have this issue and they are in even higher volume areas. Come on man. It's 2022. You can do better than this for your workers an

I was there with someone who was donating and while I was there this lady who works there said I can not wait inside and kicked me out to wait in the heat for a hour! I was 3 months pregnant at the time! I had no where to go and had to wait outside in the heat until the person I was with was done! I would give this place 0 stars if I could!!!!

Have like being a client, but an a little disillusioned. I qualified to be a VIG client, I based my decision to move forward on all the info I was given to read and what management verbally told me. I received the v Smallpox vaccine even with all the possible risks, risks that can be Heart problems as far out as 3-4 months after vaccine. I followed all the rules to the T one of the perks that I based my decision on wasn't just the money I was told I was a VIP as a VIG client and one perk was that I would ge

NEVER COME HERE THEY MANIPULATE TEST RESULTS TO MAKE IT SO YOU CAN'T DONATE They've done this to me multiple times now whereas every other donation place I'm able to donate at but they always manipulate my test results here. Try to report it to the higher-ups and they don't do anything about it, I even showed them legitimate proof. NEVER COME HERE

Very clean facility. They're efficient and quick. Plus you get a bonus if you've had the RSV vaccine as a baby !

I'm a frequent donor, and I couldn't happier that the renovation is done. The place looks great, and it feels like home again. The staff are very attentive, and quick to help us patrons, and they are very patient as well. I travel from Tempe, just to come to your facility. John, and all the staff deserve a kudos. Thank you for having me.

Amazing atmosphere and great people so kind and very clean

This place is AWESOME! Super friendly staff made me feel comfortable while donating. It was cool seeing a book exchange and local art hanging up.... very different than the plasma centers I've been to before. Fail Army on the TVs? Monthly cash bonuses? Giving away a gas scooter as a raffle prize this month? Sign me up!

I have really no complaints with the center it self, it's with their new paycard through Finwist. I tried to purchase gas, not at the pump, for a certain amount and the entire balance on my card was debited. When I called their cs, they stated it would be refunded in 24-48 hours, it's been 36 and I doubt I will ever get it back. There are numerous complaints regarding similar transactions online and with the BBB. I'm sure this was a "cost effective" decision by the corporate gods to switch companies, it's

I really enjoy donating here, the staff is friendly. The pay is consistent, it truly about the people we help as whole with our plasma.

Everyone is great ?? nice and professional expessally Dianne, sophie, Angelica, and Jennifer. Thank you all for always showing love and being kind!!!

Always treat me pretty damn good, quickly, efficiently, even with some level of patience to answer all my dumb questions. Keep up the great work team

$50 for each donation on your first 5 times. I absolutely LOVE this plasma donation center. Always a great experience here!! Steven did my vitals and had me laughing..Connor with the finesse lol and Steph stuck me well..Amber R got my vein going when it was being troublesome...awesome crew and the ladies at the front Ronnika and Cindy were awesome...i don't remember all the names but this place rocks. Wonderful staff..great compensation and lines go pretty quick..plus you're helping them help save lives. I

I decided to return after the remodel hoping that improvements were made in that time. Nope, STILL SEVERELY understaffed the only thing that's changed is the appearance. . Full room of people waiting to be screened and only 1 staff member working the screening booths. Then today I was told that someone stole the express check in tablet creating an even longer time here. Perhaps you should go to the appt system like bio life does to control the number of donors here at the same time alleviating wait times

Been come here for years all employees are great with fast service

Always a super pleasant experience:) I've never had a problem or felt uncomfortable or unsafe in any way. 10/10 recommend :)

Love the Staff! Always good seeing and talking to them. They make getting stuck worth it.

Sophia, that does the intake is probably your best customer service person doing intake up there great person

Always have friendly staff who use their time efficiently so I am always in and out!

Great place love the customer service

Never gave blood called to ask a couple questions. Lady was rude as hell, didnt even bother to say hello when i called, acted like i was the reason she had to go to work.

These line skip passes are ridiculous. And the employees seem to be standing around carrying on long personal conversations.

Kedplasma is fast, efficient, and friendly. With their professional procedures that make you feel right at home.

I LOVE donating here! All of the staff is super friendly, attentive, and professional. They always make sure their donors are well taken care of. They do their best to get us in and out the door quick! The facility is clean and they're adhering to COVID standards with clear screens on the donor floor and social distancing.

Went there today for the first time front desk receptionist lady was very unwelcoming lack of communication and character was very unprofessional didn't have no insurance and giving me more information and helping me out as a first-time donor or as a client in general was very nasty with her response... Even after I was denied my plasma donation due to my cancer disease, I was told by a nice gentleman that I will have to come back once my cancer is cured in a year after that. smh THE PLACE SEEM NICE, OKAY Y

This place is seriously the worst plasma center in all of Phoenix. It's understaffed, the people that do work there don't care about you. I would recommend going anywhere else

The staff is amazing! They always treat you with respect Angelica is one of my favorites! Fadi is always making sure everything is on point! Kristi is one of a kind. Kaylah is so kind and great to have around. I Miss John on the floor. But when ever things get busy. John is always willing to help. Jazmin has been here for almost 3 years in May. Jasmin is very helpful. Rose always has a smile and a pleasant personality. Micheala in Medical is always always there to help you with any questions that you have.

The center looks amazing.. Staff is friendly and they are personable . I Haven't been able to donate yet. I'll give another review after I'm done with the donation process .

This place is terrible. Zero customer service. A bunch of overweight women that move at a snails pace. None of them say anything other than ?are you allergic too? or ?you get X amount today, and can come back on this date?. NEVER have enough staff. Spanish music playing over the loud speakers. You see all kinds of people walking in & out of offices, but as I'm writing this at 9:44am AZ time? you call this place, no answer. Showed up to the location earlier with 12+ people outside, waiting I guess for some o

Awesome place to donate staff is friendly and quick .

Great location. Very nice staff.

Donating here? Pack breakfast and lunch. I gave the 2 star because at the moment they are paying $100 for the first 7 donations. But you will be here for a while regardless of the time you get here. I was 3rd in line and still waited almost 2 hours just to be screened. On average you're looking at a 2.5 to 3 hour visit

UPDATE: SUPER FAIL. I went to the Belle Road location, Arrived 1:30pm. I hadn't even made into the building when someone came out and stated:" If you're here to donate then I'll warn you, there are people That have been here since 9am this morning and they are still waiting. I went in and I registered anyway. But realized that between the wait time and getting the blood drawn.I would not be able to make my son.He has appointment so I let them know that I wasn't going to be able to stay because my son had

Unbelievable last Saturday Saturday for five hours even did the questionnaire on my phone you're supposed to get in faster sat there for five hours. Absolutely ridiculous I go in today to donate everything?s good they're like OK you're good to go. Oh wait oh we lost your blood samples really how does that happen now I can't Donate because they're incompetent. You people need to get your stuff together. This is absolutely ridiculous. I noticed Staff that's rude to customers in the back when they do your plas

Place isn't as bad as ppl are saying depends on the time of day you go there. I when to donate but wasn't able to. My daughter tried to donate but lady who pointed her did something to her arm so now she has to wait to go back. We went as new donors in the morning and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Husband went as a new donor a week or two ago and it took 4 hours but he went about 4 pm. There is this center and another one in Goodyear which is getting remodel. So if ur looking for a job I would

I vont to suck your blood! Ahahah. But seriously, can anyone tell me when this place is the LEAST busy?? Thx!

Staff is awesome. Very friendly. I highly recommended

They told me I can't donate cuz I have tattoos that they think are gang related

They just hurt me real bad I decided against the restick because I was in a lot of pain they messed up real bad and didn't compensate me

Don't waste your gas coming to the Bell location. I've been calling the last few days so just decided to head over there and everything is gone from inside. It's closed. I wish they would of put signs up letting us know in advance.

It takes long for some1 to Come check or mess with machine when it says "High Return Pressure"..... lol

Courteous, clean facility, very well organized, and friendly. I was really nervous at first, but staff members made me more comfortable with all my concerns. Attentive and considerate.

I see the reviews and there has not been a time that iv come that I had to wait more then 10 min. Its always quick and some of the employees are super sweet. I like great customer service I will always give reviews when I feel its needed. Devon at the bell road location is a great employee. He has great customer service. Theres not a time I haven't gone in and he's not smiling and friendly. Place is clean pays 70 every time.

I've never had any issue with staff or donating at the other location however once I visited this one I'll never come back. I bring a referral because of how good the other location is. I'm told to check in and donate in order to be eligible for the referral they lazily Vein test my referral and fail them after hearing about how my referral was treated I stopped my process. They mark me as donated in their system and refused to change it because I had been ?checked in?. I go to a different center in which t

Great staff, clean building and, love the remodel.

What are the specials for current donors? Why are the amounts for donations never advertised? However the rewards program is promoted. I don't know how many points I get towards rewards Because I don't know what the compensation is per donation? unless I call, and often no one answers the phone. I hadn't been there in months and then when I went in as a new donor because it had been over six months I was told they had just reduced the compensation. I don't remember what it was but it was a really weird amou

They lied about their pay, denied it, laughed at me for questioning and asking to speak with their manager and then told me I could never donate again and to leave. At all times I was polite, did not raise my voice or insult them. I simply explained what I was told when I came in as a new donor. If you want to get treated like crap and laughed at for asking why they don't pay you what they said they would, this place is for you. How embarrassing. I will not go back here. I originally called in February to

The staff is very professional and they explain what is going to happen on your first visit. Once you have donated for the first time you really don't need a explanation. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. Most of the time the technicians are in good moods and joke around when time permits them to do so. There's always music playing in the background and they have multiple television's throughout the room

Would not bother going here very very understaffed. Very unorganized. Started to do my new patient process just to be told at the end they are not doing new patients this was after 2 hours of Waiting and doing paperwork just to be told to go home and they didn't even open a folder for the work I already had done honestly the worst place to go

Great experience everyone was very nice and professional

Friendly staff, process was quick and stress free

THEE MOST PEACEFUL CENTER OF THE VALLEY ??PAY IS GREAT ALSO ??????

Have had a wonderful experience each and every time here at Ked plasma. The staff are welcoming and the line is always short. I will drive out of my way to come here. Please award Astrid and Shane for their hard work and awesome customer service!!!!

This place was great for the longest time. Ever since they rebranded and move to the new systems it's not worth it anymore. They say the system pulls you in by the time you signed in and did the questionnaire but that's not true. I've watched the past 4 times I was here, I logged in and completed the questionnaire before a few people and they are called to be screened before me. Also after being screened I'm completed before other people and I'm called 4 people later. The staff say they go by the time bit I

Every time I've been here to donate in total it takes between 2-4 hours. No matter what. I've only had maybe 4 occasions out of 20 where there was no wait. Staff is nice etc but how long it takes just to get past screening is a joke. Not even worth the wait for what they pay... Place is a joke. 6:45pm they close at 7 this is the current line I've been in for 39 min already and got 11 people in front of me. 6 feet from the line going outside. Like they got plenty of beds they just don't wanna hire more peop

They are alot better then any other place I have donated at I ride the bus an hour one way and I have ones closer then that to me

Takes like 30 minutes just to get to the donation chair lol

Smooth and fast experience every single time! The worker are kind and very attentive, love this place.

Very professional people and know how to their job

I understand the regular staff cannot do medical exams but a simple "you will not be eligble to donate if you have frequent/severe anxiety" would have sufficed ANYWHERE during the various pages of reading material given to you as a new donor and could have saved me loads of time. This location seems to have limited amounts of staff so things don't run as quickly or as smoothly as they should or could. Everything was clean and like most places the do still offer masks, which are not required but always are

If you want to donate here you should probably have nothing else to do that day. I have a full time job. Last 3 times I've visited I have sat there for over 2 hours and had to leave because I ran out of time. So if you're homeless or don't have a job this place is good for you. If you're a normal human who is struggling to get by but also has a job this place won't work for you

I like what you did with the place. My flow went very fast my last 2 visits. Keep it up.

I have been here a few times now and although its out of my way I appreciate the service here. Well trained and great manners. Even had an employee dance in the middle of the floor which made this place much more exciting to be at and review. Guys and gals come through and save some lives. Especially if you haven't had the opportunity. Bring social, proof of residence within 30days and id to get you 250 dollars within 2.5 weeks.

People were friendly helpful the pay was the highest advertised...Lower than it should be but higher than all others...The money I was quoted and paid was 100usd... That is the amount for the first 7 visits...Needle time 54 mins...That's love...Edit #2 either everyone is referring to a different place, they have an agenda or th company from the ground up has been replaced top to bottom...Tomorrow we'll be 3rd visit I will video pics and an update...

They are awesome, today was slow just 1 lady handling a army.

Nice workers and clean environment. Real fast

The supervisors are not nice. I honesty think they don't like their jobs. I had been a donor for a couple of years, the tech's have been Super good and professional. But Dare you have a problem to resolve, you are in for a lecture, and be tales down to. I tried calling their main office, but of course no response. I left the facility in utter disgust. I rate them -1.5, I think google is generous to give them 3. Thanks for nothing BPL.

This place is very slow at getting you in a donation chair. Some staff are very rude. They LITERALLY NEVER answer the phones. I've been calling for days and haven't spoken to one person yet. Are they allergic to phones?? Pay is decent but that's about the only good thing I can say about this place. I definitely don't recommend. The money might not be worth the time and rudeness. Answer the phones. Some people don't have gas to make a trip just to be turned away for some reason like not having information sm

The staff here are friendly and helpful.your in an out quick. Free money for an hour of your time why not.

Remodel looks AMAZING!!!! Great things to come!

Just called in to ask a question, all day getting no answer on different phones. Finally got an answer and before i could ask my second question kelsy hung up on me. If you guys dont want people calling in to ask about holiday hours, maybe have them listed and easy to find online

First time donor chose BPL, my mistake. They have no consideration of your time at all. Front office staff is rude and feels like your and inconvenience to them. I have been back 3 times (per office instructions) and was unable to donate. Office hadn't reviewed paperwork or finished things on their end. Received nothing in compensation for my time on THEIR mistake and told management I will give them one more chance, and when I go back I better be able to donate. If not able to then I will not return. I fee

I have been to this place two times recently as I have never done this before. I have been deferred twice and could not donate due to high blood pressure, which I totally get. They walked me through the process and will continue to try once I get my blood pressure down. Overall, the facility is clean and organized. The employees seem to be caring and in a positive mood both times I have tried. I would recommend this facility to anyone trying to donate plasma. Keep up the good work!!! I wasn't even ups

I will be moving on from this place after today. I've given this place multiple chances the final straw is today March 27 2023. These staff for the past couple months have been poking wherever they want and not the same spot as it should so I don't appreciate looking like Swiss cheese I explain this to ?a manager ? who was a Dike Kayla was her name supposedly she tells me are you done? When I was just trying to get her to understand my frustration she did not care refereed to me as bro and go back and forth

Ok, I am changing the poor review I gave BPL a few months back because those unprofessional employees I was concerned with no longer work there! So, despite my last review, this place has done a 360? in my opinion! EVERYONE who works there is so nice and helpful! Always positive and very professional! Eve, Josh & Chevy are my fav but they're all very good. I've been to other plasma centers and they were awful. Sometimes they'd have to stick me twice so I'd walk out of there with two wrapped up, ice band

I have been here 3 times so far. Malory and John are truly hard personable workers. Sadly management here is very poor. Most of the available chairs in the back remain empty due to the incredibly slow pace from the workers behind the front desk. I constantly see them take breaks and talk to each other. If you interrupt them while talking they dish out some heavy attitude. I hope some one that truly cares about the people and this company takes over to manage it.

This place just got bought out by another another company, now they open at a later time. However, even though they are technically open they still have to get everything set up for donations. Does it make sense to say that you're open at 8 (or whatever the hours are now), but aren't ready to start taking plasma until 9!? As soon as you're open for business you should already be ready to start taking plasma. Not making people wait an hour after, for you to set up. That would never work with any other busine

I got here at 1pm between 2pm & 3pm we we're told that there was going to be a delay because there was a scheduled staff meeting with the medical examiners. As a first-time donor I had to have a physical along with several other people. This put a major delay in the process. I did not get onto a table until approximately 5 p.m. or a little before. I was given incorrect instructions by one person telling me to pump my fist to speed up the process. I did this for approximately 20 minutes and then another pers

Been sitting here waiting to be stuck for ten minutes. They either have 2 people or 20 people working. Not friendly. They assume that you know what you're doing when it comes to procedures. They never once explained anything my first time regarding the donation process themselves and it took 2 hours to donate. 2nd time took 35 minutes after I knew what to do. Customer service sucks.

It was my first time at the center and I was here for 4 hours and still didn't get hooked up properly to donate. They put my information in wrong in they're system which caused delay and an unnecessary longer wait. They did not give clear and good instructions whatsoever for new donors. Some of the employees were very awesome but on the other hand there were other employees that lacked very much which affected the whole team and affected my time and wasted four hours and supplies to get nothing accomplished

This is an updated review after a few years of being at this location. Previously it was 3 stars but Ive decided 4 is a little more sufficiently accurate this time. This is my go to location considering they have gotten a little better with time management and normally can get checked fairly quick depending on the days you go and the time. At times they can be really busy. I like how I can rest more then 10 minutes now if wanted for a retake and don't have to go up immediately after 10 minutes unlike before

This place sucks. Some of the employees are great but the wait is abnormally long (which most places are) and the managers never step in and help even though they are the ones creating and controlling this environment. I'm sitting here watching the team struggle and ask for help while their manager is just in the back drinking coffee and laughing. The preparation and time management in this place fail big time. Its sad.
