Drea's workplace energy is amazing! The process is painless! Amazing customer service the attitude is always friendly! I look forward to my next visit!! ??
The place is a nice cool clean place with a very nice smart staff Drea is such a good nice employee as well as others so far I give 5 stars
This place was great.. people are nice and do their best to get you in and out..I would never go anywhere else
No enough staff you spend almost a hour before you donate standing in the line. Then most of the time it's only one person up there. Be prepared to stay at least 3 hours
Love the workers here. Very personable and effecient
My second visit and a different city and that was a wonderful place to go to also just like the one in Columbus the one in Rocky Mount North Carolina the people are very very very nice brother job way better than by biolife
I had a very pleasant experience. Amy, the lady that completed my physical, was extremely courteous and thorough. I also met the new director of this location, it was his first day there. He was very friendly and talked to clients periodically as he was shown around the site. The donation area was neat, organized, and cleaned promptly after each donation. Each coworker walked around behind the other to make sure there were no discrepancies and checked on all of the donors. Everyone was pleasant to talk to.
Drea is such a great worker supervisor asap
It was a pleasant experience they made me feel welcomed and explained everything exactly as it was happening
One of the easiest ways to earn a few extra bucks. Octapharma staff are always professional, honest, friendly, and make every donation easy.
So tired of this place deferring me bc of my damn pulse . I know for a fact the machine isn't getting it accurately as I know how to take my own radial pulse . Why they won't do it manually is beyond me but I never dealt with this in Pennsylvania. I pass everything else they take my pulse manually . Just so damn annoying wasting time , money , gas etc when they could just see for themselves the machine isn't accurate for me . I hate this location and it's the only one in a 59 mile radius .
Need more than 1 Kiosk. Also the app have been down for quite a while. Can't use your points. It's just always some at octaplasma.
I was a new donor and the visit was very smooth and quick. The staff was very informative friendly and eager to answer any questions that I may have had. The process was simple. I would recommend anyone to donate at Octapharma????
Was absolutely horrible. I had to take my physical 2 times because of there mistake. They used my name at the portal to finger stick the girl in front of me and I'm a man which would have sent me back to the kiosk again in an already long weight. They don't have enough employees and they careless about getting the business to get plasma so why is it even open in their location. They wasted my time and I wasted my time going back giving them 3 chances.
The donation screening process is lenghty. Not hard at all, but a lot of waiting. The screening technicians don't pay much attention to the waiting areas to see when they have a patient. The procedure technician were amazing. Friendly, attentive, & responsive. Knowledgeable about their job & very obviously following procedure. I will be going back to continue my donation.
The facility isn't as clean as it once was. The men's restroom is almost unfit for use. Most staff members are very friendly and provide an enjoyable donation experience.
Clean facility, friendly and helpful staff! Added: What has happened to this location? Seriously cannot donate here and be in and out in less than 3 hours? Staff is over worker as they keep losing employees and not replacing them? why the decline? Have they left this location to die?
The staff are cool but I don't think this place will last they don't pay enough $35 for two hours of someone time is crazy when I know they make a lot more off the donations! This place is a embarrassment
The donor floor do a excellent job
Good staff. Clean. Good experience
Very much better than it was when you first opened.... Too Many missed insertions cause me to stop donating. A real professional did the insertion and no bruises or missed punctures .1 little pinch and30-45 minutes later I was finished... Good professional!!!
Octapharma is a nice clean donating business. Employees are nice, most stick well. What I don't care for is how their compensation fluctuates pending your consistency in donating. Most companies don't change their fee.....they pay you for what you donate that day no matter how consistent you donate.
5/16/2024 I must send a special thank you to Taylor at the Rocky Mount Fairview st. Location. She was extraordinary in helping me with my card issue today and she has helped me so much with raising my Protein. Everyone is so helpful and so knowledgeable of what they have to do. Especially Jerry, he is really good in all aspects of giving plasma. These two people should be commended.
It seemed to be a clean and professional environment, It also had very professional and friendly staff, but I'm unable to give a full reasonable review. The new donor process that I started included reading a binder that stated that the entire process should take or expect to take roughly 2 hours and that following visits would be shorter... However, I have donated at Freedom plasma and kedplasma 2 hours seems to be a very accurate benchmark but at the 2 hour line we had been waiting and waiting. I'm not re
Never enough staff there to meet the demands of the donors
Friendly staff...VERY capable. Good location. I hope we come back! EDIT: Rocky Mount staff and processes are awesome, however, Octapharma switched debit cards and the new card is dreadful! No way to transfer funds and getting charged for every transaction... but I guess it saved some money for the brass...
First visit was told should take about 2 hours got there at 8:15am didn't leave till almost 2pm. It was a lot of sitting there waiting. Other than that it was good, very friendly staff and was a clean facility. Would definitely say if it's your first time going make sure you have a clear schedule. I did my research on this place but they were still very thorough on explaining everything. We'll see how the next visit goes. Follow up my 9th visit was horrible a inexperienced technician spent over a minute di
Unpleasant and unprofessional experience. My first appointment took over three hours and it felt like a lot of the staff had no intention of hurrying anything along. They were taking their time, standing around, being inefficient, having conversations not directly related to their work tasks. The nurse doing the physical exam was the only staff member I saw continuously behaving in a professional and friendly manner. Once it came time to finally donate, the staff on the floor were incredibly loud yelling ac
I was a very nice experience for it been my first time giving. The staff was great.
Very pleasant I love coming here staff are great I have never had a bad experience .
Everything went fine until I got to the lady and she told me to come back and then I will be able to give plasma I like the place and I will return do you all give out bonuses
They messed up my arm and deferred me
Great service and caring staff
This place is a joke. After reading some of the reviews on this place I definitely can see why alot of people say they wouldn't be returning to donate here again. The loudness and yelling across the building is insane. You have people talking so loud that are right at your ear. I get that you want to have fun at work but there's ways you can do that without being unprofessional about it.
The staff is friendly and seen to care about the donors.
The facility was immaculate and the staff was great and extremely friendly. Every step was explained to me as clear as possible and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Actually I will be going back within the next hour.
Unfortunately I was unable to donate on my first visit but was very impressed with the staff and their processes. They were very attentive and courteous. Those reviews posted stating this staff was rude is now hard to believe. Sometimes rudeness is a reaction to rudeness. I enjoyed the staff that assisted me.
Pretty fast on my first visit , they say up to 3 hours but it didn't take that long . Clean facility and friendly staff . All my questions were answered and the money is good. You get referral money ($50) & I love their app! Download the app it saves u time and it's easier to answer the questions and faster than the kiosks. Highly recommend the app it tells u ur balance on your card , when ur next visit is and how much u will be paid! Well worth the download!
Any donation is a long process, I wouldn't want it to be slow considering the process, but out of all of the places I've been. This is this one I stick with. Always make me laugh ,and the process is faster than anywhere else ni problems here STAY AWAY FROM KED
Absolutely horrible experience. The people waiting were abrasive, crass, and offensive. The staff were trying to ignore them, but it was loud and uncomfortable. Will never return! Edit: the staff is amazing. It was a few of the people waiting to give their donations that were acting inappropriately. Using profanity and harassing the professional staff.
I know that when I leave here today there is a 80% chance that I will not return. I've been coming here a year now and the experience has really declined. Some of the phlebotomist are nice and professional but there are a few who really make the company a product of its environment. They are loud and obnoxious. They are unfocused and uncaring. Yelling/ loud talking to each other and to some of the donors they may be friendly with. Won't even stop talking to pay attention while sticking you. Donors now are p
The worst most hood team of workers I've ever seen. Had to ask them to change there gloves yelling all threw the building not as clean as it should be and there not paying people there worth for this bill on dollar industry. The worst ever I wonder who to call??
One of the best plasma centers. There employees are good and they do there job. The first time I went was a breeze. And I don't remember there names but they made it very comfortable for me . And she also went over the stuff that I had read when I became a doner at the plasma center . It was fast and they gave me 75 the first visit. U don't know it but we save lives.
Just started back after a year and I'm fairly pleased with the way things flowed. Not the quickest response time, which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. Great overall!
I love the staff and how efficient everyone is. They make me feel at home when I go to donate. My two daughters are donors as well and we love the Rocky Mount staff and Raleigh staff as well.
First off my 7th time going I didn't get my last 100. I only was given 55.00 the reason being told is because I missed a week. I don't understand missing a week shouldn't have anything to do with how many times you donate. This place is unprofessional and I will never return. Everytime I went to the older light skin lady my heart rate would read 116 at first than when I sit and do the heart rate again it would be 106 and she happily say come back tomorrow. like she gets a kick out of you not being able to d
The employees are super friendly, the wait is never long and they don't leave you hooked up to the machine to long after the green light comes on which happened often at the last center I was at ??????
the staff is very friendly and professional,
Honestly the employees are the best!!!
Been donating here for 2 years now, they are very nice, helpful and respectful people
The staff is very polite, friendly and knowledgeable of their process. None of the employees have a problem interacting with the customers. They definitely make the process fun and interesting.
They are not interested in new donors at all!!! They make it almost impossible to begin to donate here. The staff is unfriendly and kind of cold and the managerial staff isn't any better. Tried to tell them how to be better, but the manger doesn't want to do/be better. They also make you feel a certain way?just go with another company altogether cause this ain?t it! They want your plasma but don't want to treat you like an actual human being. Sad!
Was a good experience it was clean neat efficient and the people there were awesome.
I submitted feedback online regarding my center experience and in retaliation, the center director Kimberly placed a block on my account preventing me from making further donations although there were absolutely no issues with my plasma donations. I felt bullied and harassed by her via telephone as she demanded more information about my feedback, put words in my mouth and essentially let me know that she blocked my account because I had to speak with her before the block was removed although this is not a
Everytime I go in there it's some shi I went in there today and the lady barely rubbed my arm and said oh I don't feel a vein like WHAT?
I've donated at 2 different donation centers! And Octapharma was by far the worst. The phlebotomist aren't very professional at all. I have donated for 3 years and Never have any problem. I flow fast and give a lot. Bit for some reason these people cannot hit my veins good. I'll flow good my first go around and then no flow or high pressure return. Had to be stuck 3 times last time and didn't receive my blood back. So I lost blood. It's crazy. It's only happe Ed with the one girl who stuck me the last 3 tim
If a person goes to donate plasma for more than 8 weeks, they will make up that the person has an STD/STI or something especially if the person is healthy. They "weed out who they want to donate plasma and discontinue the ones that are healthy Don't go there if you have any kind of scent on you because they will defer you
New donars need to be better instructed regarding the phone app and about the proper technique on when to pump hand when donating. And to speak loud and clear, since masks are in place. I usually have to say "what did you say'.
They LITERALLY pay the least amount when compared to all other plasm donation centers. FACTS.
They have a great customer service team. I was also glad that I only had to be pricked once to go inside of my vein. They really know what they are doing.
Horrible Experience there clearly Rascist and they won't except out of towners Nikki is a "Karen" who makes up policies by the minute unheard of policy rules i will take further action about my experience at this Rocky mount location.
1st visitVery slow While the clinic manager and the physician who actually did the physical, were professional. The rest of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. I was there over 6 hours when I told was told the 1st visit would Max at 3 hours. I could not recommend this place to anybody
The staff is friendly and helpful. During covid they make sure that you stay 6ft apart and masks up. Good way to get extra money.
The best person to stick your arm is Jerry. It didn't hurt at all when he did it. I'll be asking for him each time I go!
Don't know what to say been 2 times and they still giving me the run around, maybe one day they will finally let me make it to the donation chair.
Very nice staff, clean facility, and in and out at a descent time. I'd recommend everyone to visit.
Wonderful staffing. Clean and safe environment. Looking forward to many return visits.
They are ok. The intake staff spends a lot of time socializing while donors are waiting in line. The substitute physician older black lady felt that she had more knowledge than a licensed medical doctor. I'm thankful for the times I was able to donate and receive money I needed it. I couldn't see myself being a regular at that place. Believe it or not during COVID-19 they have an open water fountain and refuse to give donors bottled water. They do not offer drinking cups. I have known two people who tested
Great just wish the morning times before work the process of being screen could be faster for those that try to donate before work
Clean facility and nice and welcoming workers 10/10 would recommend
My donating plasma; have been quite interesting. I think the machine hate's me, or someone has hacked into it.
The first time was okay the second time I had somebody that tried to stick my arm and wasn't sure where the vein was but stuck me anyways then called somebody else over and the needle came out as he was trying to fish for a vein so since it came out I could not donate so then they just give you $5 it ain't worth your gas or your time recommend different facility
Since I have been donating for the few years I've noticed the techs have become more experienced and attentive to there work and they are always very professional
Clean and safe atmosphere and the employees are very interesting to be around they respect everyone. Sometimes you have to be patient.
I've been donating here since early November 2022 till February 8, 2023 and the staff here have been extraordinarily friendly and professional. I have about 30 years experience working in the plasma industry and the staff here gave me no reason to be nervous or concerned.
Katrina Peters: Love the friendly staff! Been going for months now and I go twice a week. Money is great!
Staff is very friendly. Service is good. They work hard to get you out in a timely manner.
I came in at 0900 as a new donor and I was told to come back at 1200. I got there at 1202! I REPEAT! 1202 and the same lady told me they at max capacity?????? So u reached max in 2 minutes??????
I WOULDN'T GIVE THIS PLACE ANY STAR... JUST ALL AROUND DISRESPECTFUL BECAUSE THEY THINK YOU NEED IT BAD ENOUGH SO THEY TREAT YOU ANY KIND OF WAY ...VERY NASTY ONLY ONE SCREENER WORKS AT A TIME REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG THE LINE IS ... THEY ALSO TOOK 1001 ML OF MY PLASMA WHICH I FOUND OUT IS AGAINST THE LAW IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA I FELT AS IF I WOULD COLLAPSE & DIE AS SOON AS I REACHED MY WORK THERE AFTER ... DON'T GO... I AM COMTACTING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND AN ATTORNEY. I AM STILL WEAK AS A RESULT.
This is one of the best Octapharma plasma places I have been too. Their facility is clean and cool. And their staff is friendly, gentle and always helpful. Definitely recommend.
Great people and way to earn money it's been a great facility to go to and visit I'm glad of the upgrades they've have taken and how they prioritize their donors now.
Octapharma has helped me to say for a vacation. We cannot wait to go!
Very clean nice.. ppl very friendly...I always get a good laugh when I go in.. the extra money really helps...
I love this place I've been donating here for 2yrs, it's had it's ups an downs but all already great place to go to..
All employees are friendly. They have great work ethics. I recommend a lot of people to go to this center.
I'm a regular at the Petersburg plasma, that was my first time in rocky mountain, because I work in north Carolina
This is a great facility. They treat you like family. Always offering advice and help on anything. Absolutely great staff!!!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
