Reviews Summary

The reviews show a mixed consensus. Many praise the friendly, professional staff and clean facility, making donors feel welcome. However, frequent complaints highlight poor phone communication, long wait times, understaffing, inconsistent pay incentives, and mismanagement. While some donors have positive, family-like experiences, others express frustration with slow service, unresponsive staff, and reduced compensation. The inability to reach anyone by phone is a recurring issue. Overall, satisfaction heavily depends on individual interactions and tolerance for operational shortcomings.

They don't compensate you if you donate late Can't call either since they don't pick up the phone nor have an extension available to speak to anyone forcing people to spend money & gas in order to speak to them directly in person. This business also doesn't supply its patients with saline just Powerade..

What an amazing center and wonderful ppl work hard there . Kiki is adorable and she always do excellent work and go above and beyond, so sweet and professional. Melissa is wonderful as well ! Those 2 girls need to be recognized and appreciated and gifted with money ??????

5 stars for the service, the lady that poked me (Melissa I think her name was) was a sweetheart, very kind and very good at her job. However this location doesn't operate how the other two do, they don't offer new Doner bonuses unfortunately and I found that out at the very end. Regardless it's clean, well managed and quick. Great spot for +5 time donations

Very friendly and caring staff. Gentle and attentive. Eunice is one of the best at finding veins and not hurting anyone. She's an exemplary person for her line of work.

The best n the Warmest place to donate plasma in Orlando City The People working This place was so friendly n explain everything we needed to know about Plasma Donation process Also The Place was super clean as well as Donars Floors n Waiting Area I wanna say It's was 5 Star Place for Donate Plasma in Orlando Also They has various rewards for regular Donars n First Time Donars

The staff took forever to get to me seemingly going in whatever order they please. I showed up early in the morning with only 3 or 4 people and 7 went before us. No regard for others time constant chatting between each other rather than getting the job done and focusing on what's important- the patient. Needless to say i will not be returning. Also behavior of staff was extremely inappropriate claiming they are waiting for 8 O'clockers and loudly moaning and groaning this is a very embarrassing display of w

Stood at counter for like 15 min. Then a staff member [ girl ], shows up w a unfriendly face expression, like I am inconveniencing her. Place has a shady feel too. I walked right out! NEXT!!!

I usually go to Sanford but came here because I was closer this time. Sanford gives $100 for the first 5 donations but this place has none. THIS PLACE WILL NOT HONOR THE OTHER KEDPLASMA INCENTIVE PROGRAMS AND WILL NOT TELL YOU WHAT YOUR PAYMENT WILL BE BEFORE YOU TRANSFER. Getting $65 for the first donation instead of the $100 I was supposed to get all because I went to a different location makes no sense when they are all the same company. I already filed a complaint on their website and I hope this place

It used to be really excellent, caring, not to mention super clean and precise. Been going here for almost 2 years, The newer generation of workers have damaged my vein, multiple times, I just wish they had more training before, always need to get like a re-stick or something. Not to mention that they scrape the vein and get some bruising The veterans of here are still amazing workers, really appreciate everything that they do. The hasn't been sufficient training, I love donating plasma but now it feels

Just left. After donating a few times I erase my arm and told a man named Daniel I was in discomfort for him to only be very rude with me what seemed to make it hurt worse!!!!!?! Besides that is quite tall that is a gentleman and a scholar!

Okay so first time yes you going to be waiting long say 3 to 4 hours. Just bring something to kill time and you be fine. But after that it's in and out 2 hours . The staff are great Jon Jon is great and Mike too. All the ladies are super friendly and ??. Please Please drink plenty of water before going it make the donation souch faster. We are saving life's on donation at a time.

Most the employees are so loud for no reason at all. Super unprofessional in every way... Especially the person name Karla! Wow.

The staff is always pleasant and professional. They make sure you are comfortable and cared for.

Horrible place the money ain't worth it . If you transfer here, your donut fees will not come as a new donor. And the waits 2 hours no matter what

Natalie she is professional respectable Thank You For having a Walker Just Like Her she go by the book Thank You kedplasma Orlando????????

Why can't anyone answered the phone? I have to call over and over again for days to try and get my military bonus. ??

Excellent staff keep you well informed and safe. The service is always so exceptional and fast. I recommend them.

Love coming here the employees are really friendly and helpful and please drink plenty of water to make the process go faster and to get there early gotta be there at 5:00am because the doors open at 6:00am first come, first serve the more you get everything done fast u be the one to leave.

These people need to learn to answer the damn phone . Days and days of calling to get simple information and nobody ever answers.

I have been donating at this place for years. I have never had an issues until recently. Daniel one of the young men who works up front is so rude and nasty. He gives out the dirtiest looks. He is not professional or welcoming. When i sit in the booth to get my vitals done, he never speaks to me. He never says hello when i sit down nothing. He really needs a refresher on customer service. You don't treat people how he does. He is like a high school mean girl. I have been told by staff he does this a lot to

It is clean and the staff move you through. It's a casual experience and you are treated well as a donor. Once you've come a few times, it's almost like you're family! If you have time, want to help create medical treatments for others, and you want a little extra money, this location is where it's at.

This plasma center is always super clean and well organized. Mildred (vital tech) is always so welcoming when I visit and she has been very helpful in my experience. She makes me feel like I'm coming back home every single time. What a breath of fresh air to still had so warm hearted and attentive person. Many blessings Mildred ??????

They don't pay you & they don't answer the phone?a lot of cattiness

After calling 5 separate times over the span of several weeks and sending an email weeks ago that still has gone unanswered, it is really clear that this center does not care about its donors. If you can't take the time to ever respond to a question or answer the phone, who knows what else they're not doing when you actually are donating. I would have loved to start donating here, but I'm not going to drive 30 minutes out of the way just to ask about what the new donor fees are and how the process works si

I come here every Tuesday and Saturday. And when I do the place is clean, staff is friendly and not in an awkward way. It's very inclusive here and honestly it would be a cool place to be at if this wasn't a donation center. Still pretty cool though

If I am being completely honest, this is the best place I've been to in a long time I have been already coming here for.over a yr.. the nurses here are awesome... they know my vein perfectly. The staff is very friendly and humble , I have 0 ( ZERO ) COMPLAINTS.. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND.... & TO.ADD TO.IT THE FACILITY IS ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS AND CLEAN AT ALL TIMES

Excellent Service and Clean Facility I recently visited KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial for a donation, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service and cleanliness of the facility. The processing was incredibly fast, and I was in and out in no time. I must give a special shoutout to Jessie, the lead receptionist, who was exceptional. She was always caring and ensured that everything was running smoothly. Her attention to detail and professionalism truly stood out. I highly recommend this place to anyon

Friendly workers easy steps and great environment

I really like the new system. I have been going twice a week for 4 years and I've never had a bad stick. I really enjoy my interactions with staff.

They have some great phlebotomists working there! I've never had a problem. Anything you need, just call someone over. It's a very worthwhile cause for anyone who may be interested. Check it out!

This is awesome place to go. They do their best to get everyone in and out. I've been going here for years now. I never had any issues and built friendships with a few of them.

Wonderful and friendly staff make a stressful experience pleasant. The caring personnel are quick to answer any questions and make sure you understand the answers! A humane and lovely facility, helping a worthwhile cause.

I've been coming here for a couple years on and off now. But every time I'm here it's a smooth process with friendly and familiar staff members. I have not had a bad experience yet.

Exceptional Service and Care at KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial I recently visited KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial to donate, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. I want to give a special shoutout to Jessie, the lead receptionist, who truly goes above and beyond. She is always caring and ensures everything runs smoothly. Her dedication to providing top-notch service is commendable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to donate. It's not just about the excellent facilities and eff

Amazing staff! Great experiences for my daughter and myself :). Very clean facility. Ariana, Matt, Briana, Charles & Shelby are our favorites. Also, the managers are very sweet and caring ;). Great place to donate and save lives though :)

The staff here are really friendly. They have been very attentive and accommodating. The initial process took a lot less time than some other companies Ive donated to in the past. Every person who has checked me in here has also been very professional and happy. Very good experience with BPL

Since KEDPLASMA has taken over I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars. I'm glad they kept their good employees and have improved the management as well kudos. Update: I have upgraded my review stars from 1 to 3. They've added additional staff at the appropriate hours, wait time has cut done significantly in my past 2 visits. Let's keep it up! Thank you. 2 months ago: "Funny (not) how they tell you to use their contact us link, but yet they ghost you (no response in 4 days so far). It kind of shows you h

My favorite place to donate plasma! I've been coming here since I turned 18 and it's always been a pleasure. Great staff, great wifi and great music. It makes the hour of donating go so quickly. I will continue to come here for years to come.

In the past several months they decreased their hours. They are no longer open on Sunday, and Saturday's hours are truncated. Despite this, the staff here still find reasons to complain. If you come in late, you are heckled. The check in staff will find any reason to not have you pass. The phlebotomists will rush you and keep micro-managing you to keep your hand pumping. I am appalled that medical professionals have an issue with having employment with steady hours. ETA: They keep this facility freezing.

My experience was okay. The staff was great. All were very nice. My wait time was close to 4.5 hours for my first time. But that was the only downside. After i was hooked up everything was fine. Staff checked on me often to make sure i was okay and after i was done they made sure i was good to go. Although i did pass out from dehydration the staff was there helping me get better. They gave me an iv of saline and watched me and made sure i was awake and okay. They made sure my vitals were good before they l

The process was going very fast until I had to get checked on and yes there was a line with only 2 or 3 people in front of me and no one came to check on me for over an hour. Just sitting in a chair wasting time. I have been to other places to donate and I was liking this place better than other places until I had to wait and waste my whole day. Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. I understand they might be understaffed today but for the whole entire process of getting checked and donated shouldn't ta

New donor wait time is what I was told on the phone. Expect at least three hours 1st time. Staff was great. The woman playing reggae was kind and the low vol reggae refreshing. Abby was on point with getting me hooked up to the machine, as well as kind and compassionate.

Exceptional Service at KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial I recently had the pleasure of donating at KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Jessie, the lead receptionist, is simply outstanding. Her caring demeanor and dedication ensure that everything runs smoothly for donors like myself. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone considering plasma donation.

You can tell the new owner is greedy. Every month since he took over the pay for donations has gone down significantly. How is it when the other company was managing it was $70 for your first donation of the week $80 for your second donation with an extra $75 for your 8th donation (not 8th donation of that month, your 8th donation period). Now it's $60 and $65 what kind of incentive is that with no extra pay for the 8th donation of the month. Not only that but I've noticed that this place always seems to be

They do not pay the full amount promised, then they will tell you they will add it on, but never do. Then they don't answer the phones. There are a lot of other plasma Centers here, go to those unless you hate yourself.

0.5 stars! It keeps getting worse every time. Ive been here since 4:30, it's now 6:30. 20 of us are still waiting on 3 employees. 1doing needle and 2 doing the cleanup. They need more employees. They like to say that more people are coming but they never have 1/2 of their chairs full. On top of that there are about 5 missing. They don't have the good sense to even lock the doors after closing time.. It's now 6:50 and I think I'm next to be seated. So that probably 15 more mins to wait. Plan your w

The staff always friendly, they are helpful, love Chevy she funny n always singing, maybe she should work at nursing home to uplift they spirits ??, I think Melissa needs more training, always have problems when she poke me, fabi always loud you can hear her before you see her, Jessica sweet ??, the other black lady with plaits always nice and just be minding her business, Jon Jon cool, he knows everybody, I don't know the lady name at front , Hispanic with dark hair, with glasses, she's always talking abou

Great place to donate, The staff are great and very kind. All the stations are clean and well taken care of. If you're thinking of donating make sure you come here.

I've donated at MANY places before and this was by far my best experience. As a new donor here my wait time was half as long as any other new donor wait time. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. Abby was the one who stuck me and she did an amazing job making me feel comfortable after I let her know about my fear of needles. She even covered the needle with an extra piece of gauze so I didn't have to see it in my arm. I will be donating here from now on!

I have never written a review, but I was so frustrated that I have to. I've Been coming here for over 3 years, but it's finally time to commit to a different company. Here are just a few reasons why: -They recently reduced the amount they pay donors, and closed their doors on Sundays. So Less money, less availability, and longer wait times. -70-80% of staff is rude AF. They are Usually either loudly gossiping to eachother (or their buddy donors), ignoring you, or giving you a dirty attitude for absolute

Been coming to KED plasma since 2008, love how the staff are always friendly and willing to help. I as well love Jessica?s Spanish accent lol. Thank you guys for always taking good care of us.

Because my review was too long, I'm going to make it shorter. A friend told me about this place and I finally checked it out some time ago. It is an easy way to make money, but there are caveats about this place. No matter what time you arrive, be prepared to wait all day. My first donation took 5 hours because of the physical plus all the people in front of me. All return visits after that, for me, took between 45 minutes and 4 hours of a wait time in order to get on the donor floor. This place doesn

The only ones I deal with is Jessica Mike and Colleen the rest suck never were they should be very rude takes for ever to DC some one other than that great place to donate and I live in Altamonte but I come to the location in Orlando

I've been donating here for over the 6 months, and have had nothing but good experiences. Staff is friendly and do their best to keep up with the crowd, I enjoy the music and laughs that's provided.

I have been donating at this business since 2014. The staff is professional and courteous. The center is clean and you never feel like you don't matter because you are giving a gift to someone who desperately needs it. They get busy sometimes but never too busy to focus on customer service. You couldn't ask for a nicer group of employees from Mildred and staff in the front end to Jessica, Eric, Abby, JonJon and the rest of the crew in the donation area along with the medical/administrative staff in the

I have been coming here for almost a year now and it pays good , the people are great , it gets busy but it is worth the wait ! Ive made this a second source of income! Awesome !

I have been donating plasma for about 8 years. BPL (now Kedplasma), was one of the first centers I started at. And although I have donated at other centers, I could say that this is the only one where I continue to donate plasma. This center is always clean, the staff is very professional and they are very friendly.

I hadn't been to this place for about 8 months, but I went back today. It was a great experience. All employees were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend. Thank you.

I'm complaining their being quick to defer people because they don't know how to educate and be informative of proper information so donation can be successful they change pay its lowing constantly and managers need to be on the floor more so they can direct the staff that seem clueless in situations pertaining to donation and certain managers need proper guidance how to conduct informative information instead of making a person feel their being push aside

Brought my brother down to donate. He checked the website and called ahead before to make sure they would accept a bank statement as the proof of address. When we arrived, he was told that they definitely do not accept this. He knew the name of the person he talked to at the center, but that person was not there to confirm the conversation. When he asked to speak to a supervisor, he was told there was no supervisor there who could speak with him. So, either the check-in person was lying, or the staff w

Staff here is always professional and helpful. They get us in and out. And there's never a long wait time.

The most terrible terrifying thing about this center is a Spanish lead who dc me, this was the second time she literally ignored and never minded whatever I had to ask , last visit she was rude, tokd me I was mistaken , told me she gave me 70$ n gave me 60$ , today she tried to say I was mistaken again n that it wasn't her n when I said how those lack of thos same 10$ inconvenienced my holiday she smirked, even tho note for ten was in n I asjed for manager ecen othercstaff asked mabager she mafe sire to wso

I went from 1 Star to 3 after my 2nd visit. I would give em 5 Stars if their process for New Donors wasn't so long. So if you're a New Donor. Expect to be here about 4-5 hours but once that's out the way. The rest of your visits will be about an hour....Great Staff, Nice employees...JUST PLEASE FIX THE NEW DONOR PROCESS

What is the pay for April 2025 and new donor perks at this location?

My 5 ?'s are for the staff ONLY!!! The administration gets a big fat *0*!!! Jessie, Crystal, Jon Jon, Jordan, Are the faces up front that take away the nervousness with their friendly conversation while making sure our vitals and hemoglobin are on point. Then we have our vein parents. YESSSSS, because they the phlebotomists know that our veins are *GOLD* ... Many donors have no problems with skinny, hidden veins, but my daughter and myself do not have perfect veins and therefore we have special people tha

They are chronically understaffed, multiple times ive been here when the line is at its longest and they only have one Lady processing people. Expect to wait at least an hour and a half before its your turn in line. Management seems innefecient and heavy handed towards its staff. The staff and Management may seem polite to guests but they do not seem like they want to work there and i don't blame them. The work culture seems bad.

Great staff, friendly and professional. I go twice a week and everyone is patient and make the process fun.

Staff is extremely friendly and facility is always nice and clean. I ask for Chevy and she is so amazing

Staff was amazing and very helpful . The only thing I did it like about my experience was a guy that has been there almost 9 years now and the hole time I was there one visit all he could do was curse. This is a professional business and should not be allowed other than this one employee was a good experience.

Donating plasma should be done by everyone healthy enough to do so!!! ?????? Smooth and easy process & you can make a few bucks while SAVING LIVES !! God bless this place and those who work here!! Thank you all for what you do!

I've been coming here for 6 years and They are always slow and always packed. They have 6 check in booths available and only have no more than 2 booths open max at any time. One out of the two people checking in donors will work on 3-4 donors then shut the booth down and walk away to do something else while the line is still full. 3 questionnaire kiosks but one is almost always out of service. The systems are always down. Front desk is almost always empty. Leaving new donors feeling lost. The people who dra

Nice staff. Pay is low. The staff is usually moving very slowly, taking their time getting people in and out so expect a very long wait. Some of them are great with the needle, some seem like beginners.

Severely understaffed. Employees are so buried in work that do not care about anything. They are nice and try but they are overworked. You wait hours for service. Some times they have 10 people waiting in line and only one pre-screen booth open.

Wait time was almost 5 hours. They were understaffed. Some were very rude. I passed out and was not told anything and when I came back they said I had to wait to be cleared by the doctor and he was not in that it would take a week or so. Lady stated that I should have been told but was not. It is very apparent that some of the staff need better training and people skills.

I had never donated plasma, and was very interested in how the process works. The BPL staff, particularly a stunningly beautiful Iranian/Ecuadorian woman named Nicole, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was articulated in a manner easy for me to understand, and my wait was as minimal as it possibly could have been. I would recommend this business to anyone who is eligible, and I intend to continue donating in perpetuity.

I appreciate the great treatment here at the center great staff make you feel right at home they are very fast and would make sure you keep on checking on you to make you everything goes good bless them ????

Don't bother calling (which I'm sure they are 100% ok with) Called multiple times, the phone will ring and no one will answer and eventually an automated system will tell you no one is available to take your call and hang up on you, if you happen to get lucky enough to get a hold of a person they will answer the phone exactly like this "Hello thank you for calling BPL Plasma, may I put you on a short hold?" after which, without waiting for a response they instantly put you on hold and forget about you, I wa

I would say it is the most mismanaged plasma donation centre I went to. For the first day it took me 5 hours to get off from the centre. For the second day I still have to wait for more than 35 minutes. BPL just deserve 1 star just for the payment.

Great staff and very friendly and will help you with whatever you need, but the ONLY thing I CAN NOT STAND is they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!! you call and call and CALL and nothing, I understand they can be busy but even in the early hours and when they're slow they still NEVER ANSWER. If they actually read these reviews PLEASE start answering the phone people cant always drive or walk to your location just to ask a simple question.

So far this is the best Plasma location I've been to. The staff are all friendly and professional?and the best part they know you by name and not just a number.

I was before in a donor in another plasma center and I came here (BPL plasma)because they was paying a little more. I can said I paid the price. First they were understaffed. Second every time you go to donate it takes like 4 hours, doesn't matter what time in the day you go. Also most of the staff are rude, and the worst is they pass ahead-other people that came later time. So disappointed ??

I just have to say..... I will ONLY come here. Now, just remember, you will see and hear ALL kinds of things, but if you have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE AAAAAND PATIENCE EVERY time you walk in then you will end up laughing because this place is a comic relief. Staff is knowledgeable on their skills. Now, Ofcourse there are some that are MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE then others, but all in all, Job well done to the ENTIRE STAFF. As I stated before..... Won't go anywhere else!!!

Jess stops taking new donors when she feels like she doesn't wanna work anymore, terrible supervisor and lazy as hell. Her coworker with the blonde hair and winged eyeliner literally describes her as always being sidetracked while I was in the booth with her. This place is useless.

Worst Nurses for sure ... they will screw you on the small pox. If they ever turn into a supermarket bank , I will deposit it in their mouth. My rating is ... Fook em

Don't bother coming, you'll be here all day. New donor nor returning. Slow or busy expect to spend 4+ hours here. And the management dense care they make you sign a paper so that you can't complain and pretty much letting you know you'll bee here all dang day. The staff is more interested in joking and playing with each other than actually getting people in and out. This is my last time donating here, I've seen better and this is not it!

Staff are always pleasant. They joke around with clients and make them feel welcomed

I thought the staff were great! I'm a new doner and they took me right in got me set up and were very friendly! Sometimes these things take time and patience! So I'd you don't have that stop complaining!! Let these folks do their job. Everybody's always in a rush! Thanks bpl for your friendly and professional service!!

Staff is Always Attentive, Been Coming Here For Years, Always Appreciate Everyone in There Acknowledgement and Care For Me At All Times, Place Feels Like Family to Me Pretty Much...
