Reviews Summary

Reviews show mixed experiences with this plasma donation center. Many praise friendly, caring staff and cleanliness, but frequent complaints highlight long wait times, understaffing, and disorganization. Several report rude or unprofessional behavior from employees, particularly during busy periods. Computer issues, slow processes, and inconsistent new donor policies frustrate customers. While some donors enjoy the atmosphere and find it efficient, others feel the center prioritizes speed over care, with a few mentioning privacy concerns or poor management. The first-time donor bonuses attract people, but many say the experience isn't worth returning after the initial promotions.

Customer Reviews

Smells like a sewer. Long long wait times. Got 1 person working the counter. The dollar general of plasma places. Don't post a reply that your sorry, cause this has gone on for to long. You need to be regulated on employees and service. A law that says you can't leave people waiting for hours cause you can't run the business right ! Seriously, ever heard of febreeze ? Don't open the doors if we can't check in. Absurd. You guys need drug tested. Still smells like poop.

They won't let you charge your phone here anymore. Not even if you're donating. Not even if you ask them to plug it in for you while you are waiting while donating. I think it's bad customer service.

The wait time use to be dreadful. 4 to 5 hours. Still can't believe they won't let you sit while waiting, but at least the wait time is around an hr now. The staff are generally pleasant, so no complaints. Does seem to be more staff standing around than working too. Just an observation. Waste of resources. Always hiring, but not enough workers on the floor. 1 doing vitals while 4 watch ? Seriously ?? Not all training either. Just saying. From a generation of workers, there's a lot of non work . Overall.

Employees do to much wasting time sitting around giggling and gossiping over what they gonna do afterwards instead of getting anything done

General manager at this location is unprofessional , with no working experience and no people skills.

Update today 12/13/2021: CSL CLOSED TODAY DUE TO A NATIONWIDE SYSTEM FAILURE. WHY ISNT THIS MESSAGE MADE AVAILABLE ON YOUR APP OR WEBSITE?! An employee made it clear that their systems were down since 2:30 pm and I just find out as I get there near 6 pm?! Original Post: If you're not going to answer your phone, don't have a phone number listed on your website or google maps. When I did call, the phone rang for 5 minutes and then hung up. I called back and the system automatically dropped my call. Please st

Was a new donor got 100 then next time I tried they said I had to wait 7 days cause I had been to ked and shouldn't of even donated the first time so I started going back to ked instead then a few weeks later went to csl since I should of had 4 new donor fees left (100)) and was only given 35$! I was so disappointed cause I thought I was still getting 100$ since I was a new donor they said since I hadn't been in a few weeks I wasn't new but mind you they told me I had to wait at least a week n I waited prob

My husband has been going here, and it hasn't been great. They were not honest about their payment prices when I called on the phone. They are always short-staffed, so even though it should only take a couple of hours to donate plasma, it has taken 3-6 every time, usually 3.5-4. It can be difficult trying to work that around a job, if you're just there looking to make extra money for the holidays, etc.

Never enough help. Usually @least 20 in line. One screener and one sticking. Don't understand why management don't ever help. Only helped one time when they had no one to stick. People don't have 4 hours twice a week to donate

Horrible don't go to CSL plasma!! I was once a CNA I know how to take vitals manually so what amazes me is that when I take my pulse and it's 82 and then I go to take my pulse with them the cuff always gets way too tight implying that they are doing it wrong but they tell me it's too high. No it's not too high you guys just don't know how to manually take vitals. Spoke to the manager there's nothing they can do and that's insane. You guys can take my plasma but you can't manually take my pulse. I even offer

Theres issues with their computers that create long wait times every time i go in here. Its worrth the wait for the first donor bonus bu after that, its not. I donated 5 times and every time they were having some sort of computer issues. Not one smooth in and out interaction. Edit: my last two donations have taken over 2 hours. Just go to KED

Staff is great and does their best, even on days when they're short staffed. I wish they would bring the music back, it broke a few months ago and they've never fixed it. It really helps time pass for everyone to have some background music.

32 minutes in line, they still haven't finished the first person with the pre screening. Two years ago, this place ran smoothly. In the past year, they're grossly under staffed. There's a reason they're losing hundreds of donors to other centers.

This morning I came in twenty people in line only 1 screener. The staff here don't seem that thrilled about getting people through the process. Yesterday I was here fifteen people in line I had been here an hour and a half already and the two screeners that was working went on break. If your donating here I hope you have no plans right away.

The wait was near to nothing and process for a returning donor is very minimal. The staff are so sweet and the needle usually freaks some out. But these ladies and gents are gentle. If you need the extra $$ you should definitely go. Or just want to donate stop here.

The nurse wanted to see my discharge papers from the emergency room because I had blood work done the day before. She made copies and would not return them to me after advising me that "I would never be donating there". What a breach of my privacy. I think I may start a lawsuit against them. I Would not go to them ever, ther privacy policy stinks Your Info DOB, SS # etc. are probably being sold on the black market.

Don't go here they will scam you out of your money

If i could give 0 stars i would. The staff here is beyond rude. Back in December my husband was donating plasma just for staff members who had issues with one another to physically put their hands on my husband and rip out the tube in his arm. After not going for months due to this incident my husband started going back to donate this week and as of today he was welcomed to rude employees who just wanna rush through everything to get home. He sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes after he was told to get r

I waited for 5 hours !!! Will not do this again. They only had one person that could stick. They have no chairs available. They really need to get their stuff together as far as employees. I do like going here but due to the waiting issue I'm considering going elsewhere ??

If I could give less stars I would, one staff member is completely rude, definitely not worth returning after the five visits!!!! So far out of all here in Springfield ked plasma seems the best, friendly staff and know how to stick . Kashay is the rude one, to grab your arm with a needle in it and force it down is just VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Friend experienced multiple privacy violations at this location regarding medical status. employees spreading false information and disregarded patient privacy on multiple occasions led to multiple doctor visits which proved the staff at this establishment had passed on false information directly to other sources about the patients medical status without proper analysis

Everytime I come here it take three hours to get off the machine then the flo points out how everyone beat me like everytime. Well then turn up the pressure lol ya better to go to a more modern place. That doesn't need such hands on work from the flo. Not surprisingly unprofessional good cause tho so it's not that bad also the pay is like the best in town

Nice place. Clean and friendly staff. The downfall is the wait. I have been waiting in a chair for 1/2 hour and am still not hooked up to a machine. I arrived at 530pm and it is almost 7pm. Come during the day or you will be waiting too long.

I appreciate this team. They are often working short-staffed and still treat everyone with a great attitude and are mindful of donors and each other.

This center has really improved in all aspects. The process is much faster. The employees are very friendly as well.

Amazing staff makes me feel like I'm at home. Always donate with ease and I'm grateful for my awesome CSL family. Highly recommend to donate plasma here.

Never anyone working the front desk to help new time donors, suggesting they dont care about your donations nor do they care about "saving lives"

Usually goes pretty good today I go in they got one person working more interested in talking than working then start sticking people that walked in an hour and a half after I did still waiting to be stuck definitely not professional Probably last donation Avoid

I really like CSL. They had Easter eggs filled with Hershey Kisses this morning. They had a Valentines board for Valentine's Day. Bree was super sweet today.??

It can be both a good and bad experience depending on you. Wait is kind of long so make sure you have nothing to do that day.

Friendly staff, extremely clean center and the wait time is minimal for returning donors. People who left negative reviews obviously cant follow the center rules, which are in place to keep people safe!

It's painfully obvious that they are under staffed. Line is an hour and half wait, with one intake person... Cut to 45 minutes later and the lady at the front forgot I was there as a new donor. Nope??

Great experience so far. Much more pleasant than I expected. Staff is very reassuring and fun to be around.

Mimi is the best. Keeps me coming back with such positive energy. A very easy process

Terrible experience every day. Save your time or budget better but this place ain?t it period? needs to shut the hell down!!!

Great people but not well staffed. Too much time spent waiting on a technician to service us

The people her are fun to talk to and they will talk and cut up with you I don't like going anywhere else keep it up csl team your doing great

Go all the time to donate and to talk to all the great people there. Never had a bad experience

Every time I go there after I get off work it's insanely busy and the line doesn't move for hours on end, and when you forgot something there they don't even actually look for it and hang up on you before it's actually done and before you can even finish what you were saying

Mimi is the best. Keeps me coming back. Such an easy process

How are male employees with( dread locks) getting express passes?

I prefer CSL over any other plasma center in Springfield. The staff is always friendly.

Great service. I was treated with respect everybody was nice and friendly. Looking forward into coming back.

Great group of workers! Just not enough ! We wait too long.

Rude unprofessional staff too bad because I wanted to donate plasma because if covid and I was turned away. Drove 40mins after calling and was informed wrongly over the phone.

Slow and entirely too complicated. Also they will deliberately avoid new donors. Skip it

Very nice, sweet, caring, and friendly love going there just to see the people

Great staff!! Keep up good working very friendly environment

They won't give me my own info on the phone while I'm trying unlock my card

9 people in line to be checked and employee are just watching as one person does it all and they talk

Best Experience for a first place to start donating at

Zero stars. If you have a PO box, don't even waste your time. They won't let you donate

Friendly and professional staff. A smooth process for new donors i felt

Move in fast pace and have great employees and staff members

CSL plasma is the best place to donate. Very friendly people

Nice, fast, friendly service. Way better than the westside.

Friendly and prompt staff, fair compensation.

Good money and clean
