LFB Plasma has done lost its mind. MANY former donors have decided it's time to migrate to Olgam Plasma just down the road. Here is why: To put it into perspective, Fort Pierce is a climate with a dying job market, failing businesses, and a predatory housing/renting market, and a high crime rate. All of which exists in a time of national inflation. LFB Plasma has always advertised itself as support for such a climate, on their posters they state: "need more money for groceries or rent this week?", underst
I am a long time plasma donor, and I have donated at a few different centers since my first time. I have to say That LFB's Fort Pierce location is where I prefer to go for many reasons. The first, is because the center is less than 3 minutes from my home. Other reasons include: The staff, is friendly, always professional, and very efficient. The center inside and out is always clean and the atmosphere is very comfortable, and I am always out the door within 1 hour and off to start my day.
Staff is cordial n service time is pretty fast but this place doesn't want to pay ?? !!! They are taking more plasma than any other plasma location but the pay is way less than any other donation center in the area!! The company is profiting big but paying the donors peanuts ??!!! What a slap in the face!! As a donor you should feel more appreciated not being taken advantage of!! What a load of bull crap to give you hotdogs and to say "thank you" but cut the compensation by almost half in the same month!!
Overall has great hospitality. The employees are awesome. The pay rate however, is an issue recently they changed the pricing and it's unacceptable. I'm a customer that has been donating for four years now and within the four years process has changed dramatically and it's just I come from Vero Beach to donate And now it's just to put gas in the car at this point. I am a poor citizen reaching out for help, and this was an opportunity for me, but however, I will not be coming back because I just cannot affor
Hi my name Bernard and my experience have been wonderful.Ossy does A fantastic job sticking she never miss and I am a hard stick.. I think she deserve a raise because she has such a positive attitude in the workplace
Cutting their prices in half and just like other reviews have to say this is all going to corporate businesses not people that need the plasma. This is going towards cosmetic surgeries, plastic surgeries etc while we all get paid 50 bucks if we're fat when it used to be a hundred. So take more and pay less is how it works apparently and some of the staff needs to brush up on their phlebotomy skills. Seriously effed me up in both arms one day to the point where the back of my arms hurt from so much jamming i
So, I have been going to LFB for 2 years. April 1st they dropped $ AGAIN!! I am in the first tear. Which means I get $25 the first donation of the week and $40 the 2nd. I am haveing a HUGE ?? NEEDLE put in my arm for $25 and then $40.?? WHAT??? YOUR PAY OUT IS PATHETIC AND UNFAIR TO ALL THAT DONATE AT YOUR FACILITY !!!!! SHAME ON THIS COMPANY!!!!!???? IT ISN'T EVEN WORTH COMING IN!!! IM SURE THAT DONATION CUSTOMERS WILL EITHER STOP COMING OR GO TO ANOTHER FACILITY. YOU ARE NOT DOING ANY GOOD TO YOUR S
I've been a plasma donor at this center for many years. Corporate has gotten increasingly more and more greedy. Before, they used to do raffles and other incentives for donating. They have gotten rid of the raffles etc and the donation amount keeps getting lower and lower. Two weeks ago they decided to give out food to donors over the course of 3 days. You can guess it was hot dogs, the cheapest option possible. Hot dogs are also the thing they tell you to avoid eating to prevent you from clogging the machi
The staff is amazing but their machines suck. Today was my last day going to lfb. I'll take less pay someplace else as long as their machines don't leave you stuck on high pressure for an extra 40 mins per cycle
Shame! First off the staff is great and amazing but corporate greed has got to this company. They changed the fees and donating structure. Now I am donating more plasma for less donating fees. Ridiculous!!!
SHAME ON YOU LFB. Just a month or so ago, you cut the donation contributions by $20 per visit from $80 to $60 and reduced the bonus as well. But TODAY you threw a client Thank you party to lessen the insult that you have AGAIN reduced donation contributions by as much as $35, with no notice, and INCREASED THE DONATION VOLUME as well!!! And to top it all off, you left your wonderful staff holding the bag and forced to take all the backlash from us blindsided clients. It's obvious that LFB has no altruistic t
I've been coming here for a year and a half and I can't believe how they nickel and I don't know you shouldn't payment it's unbelievable how greedy they're getting nothing but greed ??
My experience at LFb plasma Was wonderful? All the Staff are amazing Especially Ossy Ms A and Landa..I would recommend this plasma center to anyone thinking about going
They don't give you enough $$$ I went somewhere so much better .. pays more and don't take as much plasma apparently. Overall rating ???? TRASH ???
Writing this as of 4/2/25 .2 days ago the company changed the canisters to take more of your plasma and then changed the compensation to $25 for 110 lbs. So greedy!!Very poor compensation Dont recommend wasting time
Fee change decrease again. 3 times this past year. This time 25% cut in fee ($60 down to $45). Feel bad for smaller people as they only get $25, AND everyone has to give more plasma. Sad, VERY SAD. ??
Love the staff and the wait time is fast and easy. I will recommend people to come here to LFB. There so funny and always joking around. They always remember who you are every time you come in. They always make you feel welcomed. Mrs. A is my favorite she is always on top of making sure the patient's are good. The whole staff there is amazing.
Place is clean. Bathrooms clean. Flo?s care and are attentive. The big things are great. That said, no internet! No WiFi! Better hope your phone isn't intermittent because you're not getting online if it is. It's a little thing, but it's kind of a big thing too! The Internet?s not sure thing then it's definitely five stars!
I love going to donate at the LFB the service is very nice my first time coming in June and I have been coming ever since. It's very clean, customer friendly, and a very caring service. The staff does a wonderful job every time I come. GO LFB!!!!!
I really hate to write such a terrible review but I must feel obligated to warn people. My 1st experience was not great one lady missed my vein and her manager came and did it correctly. My 2nd experience is where it went very wrong.... I sit down where they tell me too and one of the women insert the needle and seems like everything is going okay but than her supervisor came over and said the blood isn't flowing very fast and she tells me she's going to adjust the needle while inside my arm. As soon as she
There has never been a time when the staff at LFB has ever acted unprofessional at all. They are always in a delightful mood even when it is close to closing time. They are always in good spirits and they are always professional. Thank you all for being this way. It is very much appreciated by the regulars that come here.
I like the cleanliness of the place. I want to give a special shout out to Rosa. She is very polite and always so caring. She has an infectious personality. She is the reason that keeps us coming back. Thank you Rosa for being you
This place has been going down hill. Communication is beyond poor. Three times, I've had issues at end of donations, with them either ending my return to early, machine errors etc. . I had to then sit on phone with them or specifically call them to get my payments. Then this week I called specifically and asked, did I pass my three months annual blood test. Three separate time I called, they insisted I was good to go. Got up drove first thing from Vero on a Friday morning, to find out that I didn't pass.
I thought I would be a good samaritan and donate blood following Hurricane Milton. I had passed by LFB Plasma in Fort Pierce and since OneBlood was closed, I thought I would try this donation center. I truly wish that I hadn;t done that. I called on a Sunday morning to make sure they were open. After confirming that, I headed over to their location. I was "greeted" fairly rudely, I signed the book to register as a new donor, and I waited in their very cold reception area. Eventually, a gentleman came
Update (approximately 1 year later): Overall LFB is the best plasma donation place I've ever been to (4 total in 2 states). Yes, sometimes they're short staffed, but isn't that an issue everywhere? I'm generally treated well and the staff are professional. I donate first thing in the morning and it's rarely so busy that I'm not in and out within 60-75 minutes (except those mornings after holidays). Original: The mornings after holidays are horrible. I showed up at 630am and the line was already very long.
Today is Jan30,2024. I had to leave a review for one of the employees, Alicia. I'm a tough case, being a veteran of donating plasma for over 10 years. Alicia displayed kindness ,patience, concern and gratitude during the medical screening. It's obvious she not only enjoys her position but the people she works with. She will definitely go far in the medical industry. Thank you Alicia. ?????????? 5 hearts for Excellence
They're now taking more plasma and giving you less money. It's not worth it anymore
Unfortunately I won't be donating anymore due to Lfb paying only $42 for for 801 mills it's not worth the time it takes I'm sure they'll be losing alot of business
Absolutely love it here. I'm still pretty new to the facility, but I hate needles, but everyone here knows how to stick you without hurting you and gals the tone idk that I have been stuck! Everyone is always so friendly. I don't usually have to wait long at all to go back to a chair! I even got my mom going! LFB love you guys! See ya soon
Very great staff members here and they move fast!!! Also they are very kind I 100% recommend LFB!! And yes they are better then Olgam??????
Always a pleasure! Even the days my veins decide to roll :-) today I had the pleasure of being checked in by Jeff, he was nice, kind, and professional. Then I had Dominique as my patient care tech, she is always a pleasure. Sweet, kind, gentle, caring and professional!! I was super nervous today as the past couple times have been a bit rough on my arms (veins were not behaving) and they reflected it. So I took a month off. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. All in all LFB is a great place to donate
This place is extremely slow. Expect to wait nearly two hours to get in, on a Monday. They will skip over you and ignore you. This has happened to me 4 times in a row. Several staff are unprofessional and have no sense of urgency, I watched someone who was done with their donation sit there for an uncomfortable amount of time before being helped. Nurses meander around empty beds. This used to be an alright, steady place. Not anymore.
This place is an amazing place to donate! The staff are super nice & friendly! The whole process is so easy! The staff make you feel so comfortable & are there to answer any of your questions or concerns! The payout is great & every month they have some sort of additional bonuses so you can get more money!
Hard-working friendly stuff who take the extra step When it comes to getting patience in and out. Sadly though the lack of experience when it comes to emergency situation shows every time. An emergency situation is any situation that requires the utmost urgency to prevent bodily harm Or a Hasmat situation. And that's where I feel is the only part where this facility drops the ball.
Nice staff clean good rules. Longer wait times then other competitors but much higher $
I've been a donor here a long time and love Ms.A and the management but I never experienced what I experienced today. Today was my 7th donation but the screener named ?Britney ? decided that I wouldn't be donating today. She got upset with me when I asked her to pronounce my name right. When I asked for her name she told me ?she doesn't have to tell me her name? then proceeded to gossip with her coworkers about the situation in front of me. I told her it wasn't professional to do that in front of donor beca
I love the short wait time. And the friendly staff.I've been going here for a few years now off and on.I am a phlebotomist, and I'm not scared to come in here and get poked. Just bring a coat because it's cold. It's a great way to make a few extra dollars and help people.
Some staff there act like they don't like or want to do there job. They're equipment is insufficient and it dated. Those of you with large arms, they don't have a proper cuff for you and you will wind up being turned around wasting gas and time. Not really worth the trip. Olgams better!
The environment is very welcoming. Employees are always friendly. I like that they get to know their donors. I'd definitely recommend donating at this center. Usually in and out pretty quick. But bonuses are a plus!
It's been 2 hours since I walked in and I'm still waiting to get on the donor floor. This is the second consecutive week it's been this way. The reason that we were given is that they are short handed. In the last 45 minutes, they've called back only 3 people to the donor floor. Edit... Two weeks later.. again.. two hours and still waiting to get on the donor floor. People around me, including myself are getting very frustrated. Workers laughing and joking around with each other. This does not sit well
I've been donating here since I turned 18 never had a issue until a couple months ago when a worker by the name of Dominic came to stick me and ask for my last four and I used the same number I been using since I started donating and she was really really rude to me like I was a burden to her and then kept being rude to me then when I tried to go through another worker that works there to keep Dominic from getting in-troubled and possibly fired well I went to donate on Saturday Dominic would not stick me I
This place is awesome and I love the people here. They know me by name. The staff is very friendly and comfortable to be around and talk too.
Love this place. Their like family. Very clean facility n don't waste ur time by being very efficiently. Their happy to see people walk thru those doors n put a smile on their face.
The staff here is excellent! They are professional and very friendly. I appreciate you all!
It's really sad when they pick and choose who they want to stick and not. You get skipped over and to them it's acceptable. So sad. Definitely not coming back.
The staff is always nice and professional two of my favorite staff members is David and the manager Anthony I'm always satisfied with the concern and compassion they show people
Anthony is amazing he's easy to talk to he takes his time while sticking you makes it a fast easy process five stars for Anthony
Bloody me! Customer Services is great from every one. Plasma processes take time but it has never been a dull moment in the wait. Atmosphere is very important to me and it's welcoming. As for bloody poking "Meet Meet", it has change my like for the better of my health. I eat better now, I gave more energy, my sleeping habits are better! Thank you everyone here in Fort Pierce LFB???
Lauren is always up to date on information like every staff I've dealt with here! A clean place and friendly, knowledgeable staff! Mr. Anthony runs this place well!
Just walked out of the building was serviced by Juju, was very out of packet. Showed all my proof of documents, even pull up my W2 to show her that my SS# and that me. She still want above and beyond to the manager to Verify it,they took a while 20mins looking though my personal W2 forms on my phone.I had to tell someone to tell her I no longer want to do to give blood. She still didn't come back with a answer ?? if my personal information is used outside of this business, I who did it. This was so on cal
Round #3 for me donation wise. The new girl up front was kind & sweet. She was easy to talk to and she will make a great addition to the team of amazing staff that is already here. Today was a tough beginning for the donation, meaning when the lady put the needle in my left arm, my vein wouldn't take it. It didn't hurt at all, it wasn't that she didn't do a good job, but she immediately asked for help from another team member which is protocol. When the other team member saw that she couldn't find my vein
They play around to much at the intake move to slow there's no way you should be waiting for three hours smh it's really a pain
Those who know on Stillwater mango?s
Best place to donate that I've been to so far. The time between doing beginning questionnaire/vitals to getting hooked up on a machine is fast. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If there are any issues that arise with the donating or payment processes, they're been quick to resolve it. They also have some great bonuses every month. Would recommend. Sometimes I remember my time at CSL Plasma and get chills. At that place I had to wait 1 - 2 hours (even 3 hours) to finally get hooked to a plasma mach
honestly would rather go here over csl. prices or not, their equipment is better, its more streamlined. Mari and miguel kill it on the floor and make sure youre taken care of quick
On my 1st visit it was bad. So I came in to give it a try again and let me just say I was very satisfied. The staff is so nice & so gentle when they put the needle in I will be back & this will be the only place I will come to donate. If anyone wants to donate plasma this is place to come to..
I went there the other day and your people were so helpful and nice it was my 1st time there I will be back thank you for your kindness
Great staff and very professional. They are always kind, respectful and answer any questions you may have.
The staff is absolutely amazing, I have been donating for 10 years. God Bless this amazing team BE A HERO BE A DONOR.
Usually a good experience! Most employees are great!! Get the WIFI working please.
I always have a great experience when I come here especially when mari takes care of me,she's very professional great hire.
Trying to get my transfer to this location 3 xs back to back calling them and no one picks up. Then I called a 4th time now I know at 8am people clock in and doors opens . It should not be 8 xs I have to call
They are really good here better than CSL. Mari is my favorite there. Shotout to Anthony and the rest of the staff, good people here.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Fast donation tines with hardly any wait. Building is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this location to any one. Csl plasma has nothing on LFB plasma. This is the place to come to.
Great staff here love the crew here these guys have me cracking up all the time very welcoming and consistent staff !!!!
Great place never had an issue once staff is always Curtis and friendly Anthony is a tremendous role model for a manager signed Mike hronis
I came back to LFB Plasma and Anthony the Center Director as well Greg from Medical Staff were happy to have me back. The return donor process was quick compared to the competition at CSL. The employees and atmosphere seemed more professional than when I visited years ago when it was Immunotek. I wasnt waiting at any part of the return donor process for a lenthy time. And Bonus!! They pay more too. The employees seem more content and happy here. Anthony was the one who answered the phone when I called. The
My experience is always awesome when I come here to donate plasma. The staff here treat me so well and always say good morning or good afternoon when I come in. Marie at the Fort Pierce location is always sweet and kind and very professional aswell.
Went to donate plasma with my brother, turns out they did so well it was painless!! If you can get Asha she makes it so easy and is so friendly
Amazing staff treats everyone kindly. Very welcoming environment and a lot of great promotions. :)
Dominique is amazing respectful and goes above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable thanks?. Jujuuuuu Awesome quick and informative great all around team just like family ???????????? Love the plazma family great vibez
Love Anthony, Dominique, Blair, Giselle and Dave all wonderful good at what they do amazing service and job thank you!!
Awesome place, people are great, clean. Fast, efficant,. You will want to come back. Great location . Thank you
LFB is a great atmosphere to donate, professional staff From Center Director Anthony to employees like Landa, Ju Ju, Giselle. Monthly promotions makes coming worth it ??
They have pretty good service and understanding for the most part and I enjoy the positive atmosphere
Staff here is very friendly, I really like it here, easy parking, basically no waiting time
The facility is clean also the staff is helpful and friendly ! I'd recommend coming in either early morning or around noon.
Outstanding staff, very professional, and provide me great confidence and trust.
Nice place Nice staff
Did you know your donations only pay you a small fraction of what they make from the plasma? They make upwards of $5000 per bag! I would start making them pay you more since you're basically destroying your veins!
I ?? coming here. Everyone is so nice. The place is always clean.
The environment is very welcoming and the employees are always friendly. I like that they get to know their donors and I would definitely recommend donating at this center.
Very clean center. Friendly staff. Very recommended to donate here. For me they seem to get to know their donors that are really nice
They will lie about your stats. Claimed I had a temp of 100.2 but it was only 98.5 Told me I couldn't come back for 2 weeks. And they'll only compensate $20 when I donate in 2 weeks. He's messing with the WRONG person's money!
This place is the best place to come and give plasma. The staff is very friendly and comfortable to talk to about anything. The staff will remember who you are the more you come to give. It's the best place to come and relax while giving.
Very well run place..they pay more than other centers..very friendly staff..place is clean and comfortable..would recommend it to anyone
Clean place, efficient, friendly staff that get you in and out pretty quick depending on how busy the place is.
I have been coming here a little over a year great place friendly and pay is great..
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
