What a super wonderful staff and a very clean environment, including the bathrooms. They try to make everything as easy as possible for what you're actually doing. You usually get In-N-Out pretty quick. I would definitely recommend going to this location. The compensation is not that great but how easy it is make up for kinda.
Generally speaking the people are fine, but your machines are garbage, shouldn't take your machines 6 times to finally find a pulse. Y'all need to do something because honestly it's ridiculous... I'll be taking my plasma elsewhere. Because I'm not letting your little machines bruise my arm anymore. If my blood pressure was 212/152 with a resting heart rate of 48 I'd be dead... or in cardiac arrest. Sweating at the very least...
Came in with my boyfriend to donate. We finished our 1hr 30 min long donation and left without our donation amount on our account. We refreshed the ?paysign? app multiple times, still didn't have our donation. At this point we were gone for about 30 minutes. We drive back to Grifols and the front door was locked. We call the receptionist to see what the problem was with our payment, still no answer. A lady came out of the back door and held the door open for me. We walk back in and speak to the manager and
They get you in and out as fast as they can.. I've never had a mistake
I have been going here for about 1.5 years and I always get an appointment, so you would think that you should be giving your donation close to your appointment time. On Tuesday I had a 9:00am appointment, but I didn't start my donation until 10:30am. I asked one of the staff if someone didn't show and she said no, there was only 2 on the schedule. They can only take 6 per person working so only 12 people at a time. If you know how many appointments are made why don't they schedule enough people to work. S
Extremely poor management. I brought in a grifols extra compensation offer posted on the grifols actual website and the manager was clueless to the very business he manages even offering this offer. During my donation process the manager himself disturbed me many several times making my donation process extremely uncomfortable and stressful. Manager requested to look through my personal phone several times wanting to verify that the offer I had shown them was on the actual grifols website during which he to
Have been going here for about year. Never have they said anything about having to have an appointment until recently. I went in the other day for my second donation of the week and was told I didn't have an appointment so I couldn't donate. I said since when and the girl said that's been procedure all along. If that's the case, why has it never been mentioned to me. Since I wasn't able to go that day, I missed my second donation of the week payment which is 80 dollars. When I went back in I was given forty
The place is Ok, usually there is no one at the front desk, so good luck getting any answers. They give you a folder to read while you wait the first day, then you figure it out on your own, it's mechanical. Plus you will not get an answer from the receptionist... You go in, check-in in one of the tablets and wait for a lady to call you, prick your finger, weight and blood pressure, etc... then you go to the back where a nurse will pass you to your "seat". These nurses are doing the best they can, but the p
I'm not sure why people get so frustrated with having to wait to donate. I always give myself at least 2 hours to be able to do this. They get busy at times, mostly around lunch I think but everyone works hard to get folks in and out in a timely manner. All of the staff members are super sweet, I've never had a difficult time with anyone. Even if you can tell someone isn't having the greatest day, staff still goes out of their way to help and accommodate everyone. I can't remember names well but anyone who
First visit they were not able to draw. Never had a problem before. Second visit they required a second physical due to the inability to draw on my first visit. I was not informed of this information while I scheduled my appointment. They didn't want to take time for a physical due to short staffing even though I drove from another county and had an appointment for this visit . The front receptionist was professional and kind but the nursing staff were not very pleasant and made it known they were aggrav
People are friendly but none of the resources here very resourceful i.e. no paper towels in the restroom, usually no water out front, wifi doesn't work, etc
The staff here is great! The reason I give 1 star is the payment. U get 40 ur 1st donation of the week then 75. Was 80 and they cut it to 75. They make THOUSANDS off 1 bottle of plasma and can't pay us better? Won't be back, going to CSL where they pay more!
It is very clean and bright, friendly staff that is willing to help. It does get quite busy in the evening hours and weekends, so I recommend going during the week in the earlier hours if you can. I've been donating for several months and I have never had any problems. Not sketchy at all and I always feel comfortable.
I've been donating almost a year now. It was great at first, but lately it has just become such a pain. Doesn't matter if I make an appointment, if there are 8 people in front of me, or 2 people in front of me, or noone in front of me. Seems like it has taken way longer to get in a bed and hooked up. Over an hour wait time no matter how slow it is. Will be several people waiting, several beds open... the phlebotimists just seem so oblivious at times to the waiting room filling up while there are plenty of e
The wait isn't horrible like some of the other donation centers. I've been donating for years and I've never been infiltrated (meaning the needle was incorrectly inserted causing the blood to not re-enter your veins correctly) at other places. This place however, has managed to do it 3 times. The first time they paid me full donation fee. The second they had the audacity to only pay half and said others would be half as well. FOR THEIR MISTAKE! Ridiculous. How about just inserting the needle right and we wo
Well it's a very clean facility and most of the staff I have had contact with are nice and polite. My issue with them is I have only been 2 times and the first time it took almost 3hrs for the money to post on the prepaid card they give. The second time it has been 4 & 1/2 hrs now and still nothing on my card. Most people I have talked to says it usually is on their card within a few minutes after they leave the facility. I don't know who is in charge of posting the money on cards but this is ridiculous to
I have been here a couple of times. It took a little bit to get me started due to some miscommunications, but I still give this place 5 stars. The staff on the floor is so friendly and appears to be having a good time while working. I will certainly be back to donate.
I prefer this location but it's a real pain that we're put on a "schedule". I don't have a 9-5 M-F job so I can't always come in according to the scheduled days. Why can't we go back to coming in at least 48 hours in between visits? Because of this stupid policy I have to miss out on the holiday bonus going on now.
I'm horribly disappointed. My son talked me into donating. I didn't have everything needed to donate. That I don't have a problem with. While my son donates, I have been kicked out of the building for not being a donor. Apparently I can't even sit in the waiting area while I wait on my son. I let them know we rode with my daughter and was dropped off until later. Even though I came in to donate and am with someone donating I still have to sit outside. I was sitting in a corner not bothering anyone and hard
Everything is almost good, the customer service from the front and the people on the phone. It's like we're a bother to even come up front or try to talk to someone on the phone. And it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to get someone to answer the phone. I have to call the downtown location to get any information over the phone.
Despite a year of past successful donations, I have recently been rejected 2 times in a row for high heart rate due the anxiety I have triggered by blood pressure cuffs. I was told to talk to my doctor about lowering my heart rate and was told I was perfectly healthy and had no issues needing of treatment. So after I went back and recieved my 3rd rejection, I finally persuaded the staff to let me speak to the on-site physician (which was not easy- multiple technicians told me I wouldnt be allowed to see him
Everyone at this donation center is so pleasant and sweet they are always so friendly and accommodate your every need it is clean and the atmosphere is great sincerely Camille barbarito
generally this center is run pretty well, everyone is trying the best they can. but if you have anxiety or sensory issues it may be hard for you to pass your heart rate test. my resting heart rate is 65-71 on the regular and when i?m here it spikes up to 110 the second i come in the door. once i?m past the vitals though i?m ok, just wish it was more relaxing.
Yes I recently had been going to this place for a year. Intill I was suspended, I was suspended for voicing my frustration (while other people were agreeing with me) about the order of who's next being rearranged. Not only were there 15 people waiting but new donors were already jumping ahead (which I don't mind) but when random people start getting called up it's a problem. I'm now at csl plasma which I HIGHLY recommend. They are organized and move steady and get rushes in and out the door. The managers at
My coworkers and I get off work and go straight to the plasma center. Anytime we arrive after 7:00 pm (whether it be 7:15 pm or 7:45 pm) there's a man who works there that always says sarcastic comments to us. He's never wearing scrubs so I'm assuming he's a manager. He's extremely rude and gives not only us but others a hard time when that's the only time we can come. He rallies the other techs too and they start making everyone on the floor uncomfortable by making comments about us showing up "late". I wo
I am writing this review bc I hate how the employees treat each other. Taylor is the only reason I even gave y'all a star. She swept the floor and took me down while others just sat there and talked. While the manager watched. Y'all need to do better. And get rid of the bad apples. Thank you Taylor.
Came here in hopes of donating plasma. Rejected after doing all the reading, questions, and waiting 2 hours, only to discover I was ineligible. 3.5 hours after arriving the friends I came here with, who have donated plenty of times, are still going to take another half hour. Total time for them, entry to exit: nearly 4 hours. Clearly, this facility could use some competent management and adequate staffing for the client load. I am thoroughly unimpressed.
I've been coming here off and on a couple of years. They have great staff and always get me in and out like I need. Thanks Grifols!
A well run operation with a pleasant staff and a comfortable, clean environment! Grifols has implemented a new scheduling system which is on point! Delays are reduced and being able to donate is now even better than before. Kudos to and props given! ?? Please consider donating plasma to help save the lives of others as well as getting paid to do such a good thing. Never know when and if you may be in need one day of life saving plasma. DONATE! ???? ???
Very clean, all equipment, area is very updated. Assistances are friendly & nice. Everyone is knowledgeable about what they are doing. Set up for Social distancing, regular cleanings after any individual use anything. Temperature checks upon arrival.
I would?ve put 4 stars but the phlebotomist Haley is just amazing she is extremely informative and made my donation process amazing, as well as the two young ladies one with short cut hair and the other who's has blonde streaks are amazing, they're gentle and very calming when they stick you. The only problem I've continuously had is the heavier set woman that works there she's pretty rude so I don't really recommend interacting with her but other than that the rest of the staff is absolutely amazing and ex
I heard there is a holiday bonus. What is the bonus and what are the requirements. My husband donated yesterday and will again tomorrow. I am donating today but couldn't donate the other time this week because my iron was low..
Matt and the entire staff actually is super polite, educational and professional. I've been going here for a good while now and so far the best.
The attitude by the front desk is just astonishing. Rules change every time. There's just no need for tones or rudeness. I'll likely switch companies because of this.
Love everyone there !! So much fun everytime!
Went there to do plasma, they were so rude and treated me poorly. Said my veins were too small after barley even checking me.. so I went to OCTAPHARMA on the east side, that nurse right away found a viable vein.. Laziness is running rapid these days. Y'all go to OCTAPHARMA, they will treat you much better!
They don't even pick up the phone the day I tried to schedule an appointment. Now it's all booked. Bad business. Some of the front desk don't answer the phone.
Very rude and disrespectful people! My daughter (20 yrs old) has a learning disability. She has an idealistic view on the world, gives blood when she hears of a need. So a friend told her about giving plasma, she was all in? Until these people completely talked down to her, suggested that this 20 year old needed her doctor to sign off that she was capable of giving plasma mentally!
Lady at the front desk was not helpful at all. You guys apparently will not accept a PO BOX address bc ya know some people don't have an actual address!!! Unwilling to work with you or be polite. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
The lady working the desk was rude, unprofessional and made me not want to return so therefore I will not be returning. I do not recommend donating at this location. Going up there was a huge waste of my time.
First time Donor today and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Phlebotomist Violet, was exceptionally kind. Thank you all and looking forward to next time.
Worst place ever staff has no intelligence. I've been donating for 13 years and have never been deferred for not putting a brand name bandage on my finger. Staff is very controlling and does not listen to what you have to say.
This was my first time donating. I was very nervous but the staff was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone. They did amazing.
This place is very clean and all the staff amazing.but I have to point out one very awesome flabotamist and that would be TE TE she is amazing and always with a smile and great attitude.i have had several problems at times with hitting the vein in my right arm BUT cense I met the amazing TE TE I no longer worrie she can hit it first time every time..they are all awesome people front to back.
Omg I'm so glad that they opened a new location... It's not crowded, less wait time and the staff is amazing! I quit donating downtown cause it was a long wait, no parking and not everyone there was friendly! Thank you so much for the new location ??
A professional, caring, and friendly staff provides positive interactions with new and returning clients. In addition, the physical environment is clean and covid precautions are observed and enforced.
be prepared for long waits and if you say something wrong, they will permanently defer you!
This is possibly the best facility I've seen the staff is amazing they are very quick to get everything taken care especially Ms Elena always has a smile and friendly
I was deferd cause they was not obeying tpo and that sheriffs captain talk to boss and let her know there was a warrant also for person so next week I go in and can't donate never heard of someone being baned cause they notify they was doing something wrong with out know guess they even take wanted criminals over protecting a person with paper by the courts but it's all gd cause this has notw started an investigation so thank you biotest for not cooperating with legal documents
I'm new to the whole donation thing and they g have been great at my question and I have not met anyone who works who has not been respectful . I have enjoyed finding the place
Worst place I haven't been here since January and it's August they've got bad phlebotomist also the ?receptionist? are rude.
My first time donating plasma ever was last week. Everyone I came in contact with at this location was extremely nice.
One of the best places to go and friendly staff. I've not come across anyone that im afraid to be stuck by. Spencer is one of the best!
Ive been coming here for 7 months now and i enjoy talking with each of them. They are very Personable and Professional. I highly recommend!!
Is my first time in this facility and my first time doing this but I'm happy with the system they follow for ours on safety just a little disappointing on the compensation plan drops to much on the regular visits
Donated plasma on 7/29/23. Kailey was the best tech I ever met. Give her a raise!
Never enough staff at the busy times after 5pm and too much staff during midday when not busy. Edit. Company has noticed staffing issues. Much much better now
I'm disappointed the lady training cut my arm while pulling the needle out and I understand mistakes happen but having the manager working that day not do anything has helped my decision with not returning.
I've only been going got a month and the staff is great. There's a person goes above and beyond her name (sorry if I butchered it) Elena she's the best
Be sure you have 3-5 hours to spare. 2 hours waiting and 1 hour to actually donate smh.
Negative stars!!! Place is garbage! To thank the troops they took away bonuses for vets but made me donate more than I normally do ??
Things have gotten better since I was last there. Very clean and orderly. Well done.
I had a great experience on the day of my visit Haley was amazing thank you Haley best experience yet
I been getting the run arounds they say they gonna due something and they dont wasting my time and gas on emty promise
Great staff and friendly. I donate regularly with no problems.
This location is impeccably clean, and the people are polite and appreciative
Nice staff not a long wait clean facility.
Everybody here works really hard, Misha was a huge help especially!!
This is the biggest run around for NOTHING!!! YOU SIT HERE FOR HOURS THEN THEY TELL YOU NO!!
Great clean friendly helpful staff!!!!
Get place with awesome employees
Excellent service and staff
Clean and nice people
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
