I have been going to this center for over a year. The people that work here are amazing. When I walk in I am greeted with love and respect. There are a few that have been here for awhile and those are the ones that make that place. Dolores, Danielle, Davon, Tamara, Han, Jesse, Rhonda, and Monica if I missed any one please forgive me. I truly enjoy walking into this location. Keep up the great work ????????????????

I have been coming here for several years. Me and my service dog are always greeted warmly. I have had to replace my card and that has never been an issue. It's a very friendly and positive atmosphere.

Tamara and all of the employees are so great here! I've been to 2 other plasma donation sites and feel the most comfortable here. Everyone is friendly, gentle and kind!

I had a wonderful experience. Janes, My cup of tea! Tamara was a sweetheart and Emily was a little bit more important. lol. I enjoyed myself to the point I completely forgot I had a needle in my arm. Look forward to seeing them and donating the next time. Have a great day!

This is awesome location to donate plasma. The staff here are all friendly and knowledgeable. Great welcoming and friendly environment! Emily and all her co-workers do a fantastic job!! I highly recommend everyone Donate plasma at this location!! Awesome job team!!??????

The staff here are SO friendly. Every single time I've been there, they've been so nice. I've never had an issue donating, but this last time I went, I suddenly got super light-headed during my donation. Someone was by my side instantly, and I wish I'd caught her name. She elevated my feet, put an ice pack on my neck, got me a Gatorade (Powerade?), and fanned me until I know her arm had to be tired, but she kept going until I felt better. Then they got my husband from the waiting area to help me out. Thank

I must have missed the friendly staff and got the staff that doesnt care about anyone. Got ignored for about 30mins while they taked and gossiped amogst themselves. Not a great first impression.

I wish I could say I'd want to come back to donate but I feel it's not in the best interest of my health to do so anymore. I've been coming for maybe 2 months now and the only workers who have been able to successfully stick me (as someone with deep veins) are Desiree and Emily. Any other time I've either been rejected or been given to someone who isn't at all comfortable with doing it. I was even told by at least 5 workers that the time I was rejected it shouldn't have happened and someone should have atte

So I went to give plasma 5/10/22 and I always try to go often but this time was not a good one. I was upset about what they wanted to do in my situation. The lady poked me but with force I told her it hurts. Well immediately I saw an hematoma appear and was getting bigger as I was telling her hey it hurts take it out. Finally someone else came and took out the needle. Then they asked if I wanted to be pricked again, I was like seriously my arm hurts and is very sore. So this was not my fault they wanted to

Return donor bonuses were discontinued Jan 1. They now take 963 ml vs the old 880for no extra pay. As someone who only donates periodically, these bonuses are how I choose what company to donate to. Grifols are now out of the loop due to corporate greed. A prime example of someone on the corporate level being spiteful to the people who actually earns you money. Crooks

Desiree has been a helpful leader since day one. She is very confident and competent in everything she does! Nick was great with checking me in and showing me the ropes and completing my physical! Everything went smooth after that. Danielle always is attentive and in a good mood and makes me feel at home while she takes care of all of the people that come through. Tamira is very jovial and very upbeat as she works fast at helping us all! I really and truly can say that it's refreshing coming in here after a

Always a good experience when I donate. Desiree, Maddy and Emily are the best. They're always friendly, prompt and knowledgeable as well as excellent stickers with the needle. I never feel the needle enter or exit my arm. They're the greatest!!!!

I would say for my first time donating, it was very pleasant. I wish I would?ve gotten the phlebotomist?s name before I left, but he made my first stick very easy, for it being (looked like) a 16 gauge needle. Everyone was very friendly, and the Medical Administrator Maria was great! I hope my future visits are just as good.

I've had great experience with donating at the slaughter location. Love Desiree, she's a great stick and always on point.Don't ever have to get adjusted. Has a great attitude and friendly

To be honest I enjoy donating I enjoy the environment I enjoy the people and I enjoy the Good vibes and laughter around especially the team members that go around and help us with anything and everything that we need I appreciate all that y'all I do for us here keep up the good job. keep doing God's work be a blessing to those who are blessed to each other help save a life because anyone can make a difference in someone's life by coming to donate plasma and thank you Desiree. G for the good hospitality you

The entire staff is excellent. They are very efficient and great at keeping the place running. Nick is always friendly and went out of his way to build rapport with me on day one.

Not to please with the manager this morning. She was kind of rude because we forgot you have to schedule appointments now. Assumed we were trying to get ahead of the people that scheduled appointment's and that's not what we were trying to do at all. Kind of talked to us like we were idiots. They usually are nice there at least most staff is.

I've been going to Grifols Biomat for about 2 yrs and I've come to know the staff very well. I say we are like family. As soon as I walk in the door greeted with a smile from Britt. Or from the homie Nick always asking bout my day ?? then making my way to the back and seeing the faces of Emily,Maddie ,Danielle and Amanda who's always ready to crack a joke with me ?? .And my friend Tamara who always makes it to say hi friend ?? AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST Big Mike Mr ?? whistle?? .....KEEP UP THE GREAT WOR

Very nice under paid staff!!! Very friendly ??. Desiree and Emily always take really good care of me!! Very professional they need a promotion ??

I had an excellent experience at Gilfols Biomat on West Slaughter Ln, thanks to Nick! He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout my visit. Nick's friendly demeanor and expert guidance made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Nick and the team at Gilfols Biomat for their outstanding service. Thank you, Nick, for making my experience a positive one!

I love everyone there, very friendly and helpful. I think I'd donate more if it was an even amount of money rather than this small first payment followed by a bigger payment the second time of the the week. There's times like now on Friday where I would only have time to donate once this week, so I'm only planning to donate when I can hit two days in a week.

I have been visiting this location for years I have been a valued donor never causing any issues last October during a visit the nurse assisting me did not properly stick me after my first round I complained of pain in my arm she stopped the process and attempted to stick me again without success I have a iron deficiency which at times requires for the need of a blood transfusion so the process was stopped and I spoke to a manager who advised they would not be able to return my blood to my body which also m

People that work here are trained professionals with good smiles

Hello, my name is Bobbie and my review is for a very sweet and dedicated girl Tamara at the slaughter location. She is always very friendly and very helpful. Also quick and sufficient. She always has a smile on her face and makes me feel very welcome when it's my turn to donate. As well as all the other staff members very polite. Thank you and keep up the good work. :)

Spent 3 and half hours going through the first time donor procedure, was cleared, placed on the floor only to then be denied because of my tattoo sleeves. Extremely inconsistent staff, wasted my entire day for nothing. Thanks. Staff was friendly enough but management really needs to have some consistency.

I just wanted to express my satisfaction with my experience today. I had to transfer to this location from the Allandale/Airport location and the staff explained the process and got me processed and donating with minimal wait. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. I very much recommend this location (the north one is also very good) should anyone be considering donating plasma. Great job!

Just did my first donation this week! Everyone is super nice and helpful! Especially Nick who did my physical evaluation before my donation he explained everything step by step and answered all my question! Excited to go back :)

I been coming Biomat for 2yrs. and Ms. Delores is my favorite person to see. She's very professional, have a nice attitude with a warm smile that gives you a comfortable feeling about donating.Great Job Delores.

I haven't been back to this location in months because of their old machines and the staff seemed more interested in interacting with one another than taking care of their donors. I finally went back because they were offering a bonus I couldn't pass up. I was *very pleasantly surprised*! The tech, Tamara, that helped me was extremely professional and very friendly. They had all new machines. I didn't leave there bruised like I had so many times before. I was very happy with my experience this week and will

Always have a great experience when I visit here and I go twice a week! Staff is always friendly and professional and I'm usually in and out relatively quickly. Highly recommend you stick request Christian! He's literally given me the most precise and painless sticks reliably every single visit! Fantastic experience and way to make a little extra money and feels great to help the community!

If there was a negative star, I would rate this place a negative star. I sit down, 10 mins later, someone notices me sitting down and asks me if I'm a returning donor. I said no, I'm waiting to pick up someone here who is donating. A little later, a short guy tells me that since I'm not a donar, I can't be in the facility lol. I dropped my water and left. I used to donate to her about over a year ago. I didn't know that they turned into a holes ??

I usually make only restaurant reviews but I decided this was a good opportunity to sent some positivity. I feel as if the team they have right now is very solid. The employees at the Slaughter location are professional, friendly and on most days they find ways to help people stay happy while they wait. Some times when its busy, Ive seen some really good hustle.

I love the online checkin and questionnaire it makes the process so much quicker. Amanda was the one working on me today and she was friendly and the stick did not hurt, she did a great job

Great first donation experience! The staff is very professional and helpful. One staff member in particular, Mr. Joseph deserves at least a 1? pay raise ????

On one occasion I had my personal information leaked and was contacted by a group of females claiming to work for Grifols. (The number belonged to someone living in El Paso). On another occasion after I had completed my donation; several phlebotomist turned a blind eye to me as I sat there hooked up to the machine while helping at the very least 4 other donors (all Hispanic but I hope that had nothing to do with it). Don't know if this was a personal experience or if this place is actually prejudice! For th

99.99% of the staff are awesome. The changes that have been implemented in the last couple of days have made everything worse! The whole point of doing the express kiosk was so that we could check in as soon as we arrived and bypass the people doing the regular kiosk. Now we all have to wait in the same line. It took 30 minutes to get called to a booth. And you took away the chairs. What were you thinking? So many bad decisions. 2.5 stars would be a more accurate rating.

Amanda R. and Daniella L. are the best. They make sure you are taken care of and making sure the process of you donating be as much ease as possible. Great people.

I came in Friday 5 pm. I'm a returning donor. I last donated in November because of a bad experience, where staff was more concerned about cleaning and closing than paying attention to people who needed disconnects. I came in to use my $50 bonus (code: LAPSED50) and was turned away because they did not have enough staff for me to do a physical. I don't think any manager was consulted. They sure were nice about it.

Not sure I will be going back after this week. They have changed the donation amount and is going by your BMI now and I'm a big girl and I now have to fill up an additional 200 ml more and they didn't give me anymore compensation or anymore saline for the extra plasma I gave. My arm hurt because of the longer time with the needle and being in the same position longer. And the longer time to get screened and waiting to get started on the machine. The new process just isn't working for me. There's a new cente

Donated plasma for my first time today. Joseph and the trainee Sydney(I think that's her name) we're incredible and made sure I knew the process well and went over everything with me in detail. Joanne took care of my donation in the back area. Very kind, thorough when talking me through the process, and had a great attitude all around. I'll definitely be back soon

So on my visit I , meet a employee name Amanda Rios . Ms, Rios always have positive things to say . Ms, Rios also make sure she help you with any questions I had

Always coming here to donate. Staff is so polite and friendly! I do want to give a special shout out to Joann she's awesome!! Every time I have a great experience.

I've been donating here for three years. Their donor fees and bonuses are good, and fair. The employees are all kind, patient, knowledgeable, and good humored. I've only had one re-stick in my 3 years there so far. The chief reason that I give it 4 stars is that the company itself, as in higher management than the folks that work at this particular center, treat their employees as machines. So to clarify, I don't believe anyone at this center is at fault, but I put the blame on upper management that has ne

Love the friendly staff and great environment. I have been donating since the business opened and all in all it is pretty painless. I enjoy giving back to the community while making extra cash. I recommend everyone try it if you are able.

I've been coming for years and never once had a bad experience. The lobby stay cleaned, the lines are short they even have chairs for us to sit at while we wait to be screened. This place is awesome if you want to make a few dollars this the place to visit

This location is ran very well! Staff is very friendly, clean environment, and fast process. Normally in and out within 45 mins. Absolutely zero complaints!

I always have a great experience when i go in, ive become familiar with most of the staff and they are always welcoming. You might find a delay when going in during later hrs but only because a high volume comes in. Nonetheless they are still quick and diligent at what they are doing. ??

The staff here is great! I have to give a shout out to Sam especially, one of the medical supervisors. I had a reaction during donation and he was there to find out the problem and take care of it right away. I have to say he really cares about the donors and wants to ensure everyone is doing their job as well to make the experience a good one. Jeannette is another staff member who goes above and beyond to ensure donors have great experiences, she is very attentive and a fantastic, experienced phlebotomist.

Every time I come in Amanda R always shows great services and is a great person to talk to and makes u feel comfortable

Wonderful place to donate. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Thanks Amanda for always being so kind and caring.

Staff is friendly took a while to get screened though . This location does not pay well . Less than half what the one up north gives you . This location only gives you $40 while the one on airport gives you $100 per donation. I recommend the one on airport if u want to donate and it be worth it.

Pretty nice staff but sometimes wait times are too long and they can't always find your vein, which hurts! Also, if you have to go to medical be prepared to wait forever to donate again because the doctor takes forever to check the results of your tests. I had to call multiple times, even show up in person before something was done and I wasn't able to donate for months. Overall good experience whenever they are well staffed and organized.

What i do without mrs Deairee and Mrs Dolores. you can never go wrong when they are working. Keep up the good work ladies.

Glad to be back to this new and improved environment. JoAnn has made it easy for me to get hooked up and ready. She is a real good worker and always welcoming.

Enjoy this location so much! All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and keep the environment warm / interactive. Freddy is a delight to be around, and knows what he's doing. This will be my home base for plasma donations going forward! The location is kept clean and organized.

They'll deny you donating on Friday just to force you to donate Saturday for 40$ and then next week for 40$ again. Never coming back. Not only that the staff that did the orientation thing for me told me that the donor bonus would last another month regardless. That was a lie as after my 3rd donation I never received any more as the new month started

Supervisor Mike was super knowledgeable and helpful. Alyshia (sp?) disconnected me very safely and quickly. Both of them made the visit a great experience.

I haven't had a negative experience here compared to other centers. The attitude you give off is the attitude you get because I've seen people complain and throw fits thinking it's going to make it go faster. For those wondering, it usually takes me about an hour or an hour and a half at the most. Ebone is a hard worker and always greets me with a smile even if a customer is rude to her (which I've seen) she is respectful and makes sure you're being taken care of and the issue is resolved.

Was recommended Grifols by a friend. Have had nothing but positive energy from this place since my first visit 8/11/22. Staff is friendly and the clinic is clean and efficient. Great incentives. Definitely will recommend myself.

I have been faithfully donating since December of 2018. This is our part time jobs and love the cause as well now on this note Jeanette got her shortly after we donated for a while. She is so awesome and think she should havebe moved up in her career with BPL,she's dedicated to her job and it shows! I've had wrong sticks that have had me deferred but she never misses my veins that are difficult and we never feel the stick.. Again she is a breath of fresh air when she is there I know that I will have a relax

Had an incompetent employee not only mess up my stick but make several questionable actions prior. Not changing gloves, not wiping down the seat between donors and touching the incision site with dirty gloves after iodine was used on the area which means the area is not longer sanitized. I asked 3 times to have the needle removed as it was causing pain and the machine was on malfunctioning. It took her over 10 minutes to remove the needle and she argued with me the whole time. Spoke to the manager who seem

The facility is efficiently ran so one is in & out in a timely manner. Shout out to Amanda R. for being extra attentive. ??

Great experience, however being denied to have my Legal Service Dog along my side was extremely upsetting and definitely not the experience that one should hope for... what would yall do if it were my Guide dog. Are you saying that someone on their own wouldn't be allowed to donate due to having the aide of a Medical device?? You are the only company that doesn't allow service Dogs to be at their Companions side.

First time donor. The staff was professionally kind and well trained. Registration was a bit slow but it wasn't a problem. I had a bad reaction during my donation. Medical staff was immediately attentive and stayed by my side during recovery. However, I have the WORST bruising on my arm though. Not just the injection site, but an almost 4 inch wide bruise wrapped around my arm. They attributed it to not drinking enough water, but it looks more like my return went into my arm and not my vein. I will definite

Some of the staff is good. The wait is long. I think they need to have the supervisor helping as well so people can be in and out. Tasha, Ebonee, JaJuan are good to stick you. Waiting so long to be stuck drains me more then sitting there donating.

Tamara is the greatest!! She has the best personality and an Amazing bedside manner. Her sticks are like butter, every time!! She is the reason I come all the way from Montopolis to donate. She's definitely a keeper! Thank you Grifols, and thanks again to Tamara!! You earned these 5 stars!!

I WOULD NOT WASTE MY TIME DONATING w/ GRIFOLS! I have donated else where before, CSL- is BETTER!!! Grifols takes the most time to start donation process. It's takes 30-45 minutes to start the daily screening, even longer still to complete the donation process and more over they pay less than other places. The information contained on their website is a loose guide and not meant to be take literally. They seem to be short staffed perpetually.

Update: once I got to the back, smooth sailing. Also IF YOU SEE CAROLINA IN THE BACK JUST KNOW YOURE Going TO BE TAKEN CARE OF AMAZINGLY. She's sweet, smells good, perfect stick every time and she keeps things moving!! Give that woman a raise!! She's why I give y two stars instead of one.

Always look forward to the very friendly and professional staff, esp. Jasmine, Freddy, Jerry, & Christian, who always hit my tricky vein! I like donating to help others, but after screening out a year ago from high BP & pulse, it motivated me to turn my health around: I've lost 40 lbs & feel great!

This location is very clean and fast based upon the other location I've been to. I felt very welcomed and all my questions were answered. Jasmine was very helpful and nice. She made the process fast and easy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in donating plasma. Definitely a great experience. I will continue on going to this location.

I was a little nervous to donate plasma for the first time ever, but Biomat USA on Slaughter was a great choice! The staff were SUPER friendly and funny, the place was clean, the process was organized, and a staff member even called me the day after my appointment to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. I was blown away! The compensation for the first time is $100, and the next three times you go, you'll get $125. (As of the time of this writing). The price after that decreases.

The first few times I went, very professional staff; courteous, prompt and well informed. Today I was assigned a section and forgotten about. Was actively ignored by 3 different staff members despite being literally the only person not hooked up. After about 15 minutes of this, I left. But the hobo laughing about being still drunk from last night is currently donating. So there's that. I hope I never need a blood transfusion.

Tamara Amanda r and Emily are very good workers and love there company and help when needed. Keep up the good job ladies.??

The staff are always super nice. I bring my iPad and I'm usually done before I can even finish an episode of a show. Help save lives and earn a bit of money.

With the new company that bought them they now have to set up each donation bed manually compared to it being setup and ready to go before. They are some times under staffed so you may have to wait a while to get stuck or unstuck after your donation. Update: The facility has gotten extremely slow. The Donors always have to wait extremely unreasonable times just to be connected and unconnected to the machine.

Please bring back Happy Hour Bonuses, Bingo, and technicians who stay with the company more than a couple of months. Currently we've been waiting on an MS Supervisor . The building has been open since 8 a.m. and we have yet to be seen. This seems to be a regular occurrence. This is an issue that affects your employees enormously. Alot of the donors would seriously appreciate, if you guys would have an alternate plan. I think it would be great if you guys could have two Medical Supervisors on the floor at al

I get so frustrated every time I donate. I got poked on the fingers three times because the person drawing kept messing up. They don't know how to put a blood pressure cuff on me. I especially really hate the way some of them talk to me and how unprofessional they act in front of the donors. And they wonder why I am not really friendly.

Great place to make extra money and help others at the same time. Can't come here on a set schedule though. It could take an hour or 2 and a half hours there's been instances I sit down and have not been stuck in 20 minutes...even watched an employee be asked by a supervisor she said I've got this disconnect, she walked to a bed 2 away finished and walked off to do nothing until I asked to get stuck again and the supervisor did.

They need more experienced people when it comes to drawing blood. Apparently I have small Veins and the less experienced people have poked me to where I get terrible bruises and they hurt me because they have to try so many times. Since this is an essential part of their process, they really need at least one expert available to assist during all working hours. I've wasted expensive gas, cause it's ridiculously expensive these days, driving far to donate and there either isn't an expert available or t

I came in today on 2/15/22 at 11am to donate and they had me sitting and waiting for 3 hours. I just now walked out at 2:07pm and no one told me it would be just a minute or anything. This was my first donating and I was really excited and now I don't ever want to do this again. Employees were friendly but maintenance was stepping on the chair I was sitting on also while I was waiting while they were fixing a TV? Place was uncomfortable, rude, and a waste of time going to.

My husband I love the staff in the back Matteo,Sarah, Jeanette,Tasha, Delores, Victoria, Alyssa and the bubbly Joanna makes our day when the staff really cares about you! Also the medical supervisors Sam, Zoe, Frank donating we have been donating since November 2018 and it's our part time job and home away from home. Saving lives and getting paid for it is not a bad cause! The black coats in the front are awesome the ladies that check vital and receptionist are so nice never rude and great ora! The best cus

Well I've been coming to plasma on slaughter since October of 2021 never had any problems I always pick who I want to insert the needle to my arm so far there's three persons that are good at what they do first person is Christian Christian is a good person real polite and I have nothing negative to say second person is : Alicia A.k.a. FYI / she is good at what she do she very polite gentle and she pays attention to what she do that's what I like I haven't had any problem with them at all if anything it's m

I stop going because I was there first donor since the day they open I've seen so many come an go they have such a high turnover that speaks for itself they have to many chiefs and not enough Indians! The techs talk about each other there personal mess was on the floor, an they always find a reason not to pay you even when you get a bad stick that's cool not your fault it's is one person there that was awesome an that was Tasha ! I seen by the way other plasma centers work an treat there donors maybe you al

The wait times get worse and worse. I wait over an hour just be screened and about 2.5 hrs just to get hooked up. The payout has been less in 2022 compared to 2021 and the wait and customer service is declining with it. And do something about those nasty restrooms... the homeless smell better

The people who work there are very nice, and very helpful. I stoped donating for a while and when I came back, Joseph asked if I had gotten a return donor email. I didn't remember one, so I checked my old emails. I had gotten one and qualified for an extra $50! Thanks Joseph!

Best place to donate by far! Staff is super nice and friendly, Professional, they always store my motorcycle helmet behind the desk so I don't have to hold it while I donate. Also the payouts are great!

Highly recommend no one donate here. They have just started taking forehead temperatures at the door, and i was measured at 109. If i was really 109 i would be flat out almost dead. I was told by tech that a lot of temps were off since they started using the knew temperature. So with my temp being measured wrong i have to wait 2 week, if i even want to go back, before u can donate again. I feel fine its a hot muggy day, but even then 109 temp is really off since clearly i am not dead.

Takes forever. Got here at 3:50 pm and did not get hooked up to donate until 6pm. Very short on staff. And staff don't seem to care about speed or attending customers. Many times I see staff just joking around and laughing when there is a long line. All for $40

Today this lady couldn't find my vein and just dug around in my arm for like 15 mins. Then left the needle in my arm not hooked up while I was in pain to help someone else. Then I had to leave with out donating and no pay. I dont expect to get paid if I'm not donating to be clear. The rest of the staff are awesome and I like the atmosphere. I'm sorry you guys are under staffed. :( Also tbh I've heard what yall get paid and its trash. Yall need to get paid more. Yall are legit saving lives. I'm coming back h

This facility is always clean and the patient flow is always moving. Of course waiting is expected, but I've never spent more than 1.5 hours here. In my opinion, it is way nicer than the Airport location.

I Have been a donor for a while. I went back today was very impressed how everyone was working together. Great job management and staff keep up the great work yall are doing. I recommend everyone to the slaughter location. Save a life by donating.

They seem to want to talk and recreate more than actually do work. As I stand in the long line to get my vitals tested, the ones who are supposed to do the testing are in one of the rooms, visible to everyone, laughing and having a good time while the donors wait. Then, after being finally seen, you wait about 30 minutes for them to actually stick you, again, being able to see them talk to each other and play around. Go to one of the other BPL's in Austin, this one is horrid. The only saving grace was the c

Hands-down the worst service I have ever received. The inconsistent communication and rude staff should make you avoid this plasma center at all cost. They blames our poor performance on being understaffed, we all understand that there is a pandemic going on and a global shortage of workers right now. That is not the reason for the poor service. The amount of gross behavior and inappropriate medical practices should have this place shut down immediately.

I'm giving it 5 stars compared to all other plasma facilities. It's usually takes 45 min-1 hour to donate and they move you through pretty quickly. It's comfy (well as comfy as you can get), clean, and the faculty is pretty respectful as long as you are. Quick notes: bring a blanket or a sweater -- it's so cold in there. Also, don't try and charge your phone there, they won't let you.

It would be more but sometimes the manager ? rude person in front of donors she should have a little bit more respect

I would literally never have gone here if it wasn't for Joseph as long as he's there I'll go back

Love this place!!! The atmosphere is amazing and the workers there are always in a great mood and make you feel completely welcome. If you have questions they answer them if you have any conserns they will talk to you in a private room. BEST PLASMA CENTER IN TX!!!!!

Arrived at 11am The company had me sitting for 4 hours and still was not able to donate it is the most unprofessional service that I have experienced. Would strongly recommend for a person who is considering to donate from here to go to bio life. They have no respect for your schedule and advertise lies.

As of today , 6th time coming here. First day took a good three hours as expected, the rest 90 mins max or less. Super present and everyone always asking if you're feeling good. Come here to donate plasma

My experience at Grifols Plasma Donation on W. Slaughter was the best. I was greeted with a beautiful smile, good conversation and Marianna had a great attitude with lots of good vibes. She showed great customer service and was super pleasant to be around. It is employees like Marianna and Crystal that make my experience pleasant and fun @ Grifols on W Slaughter Ln.

My guy Nick is the dopest. He always in great spirits and makes my visit memorable

I looked on website to try to schedule a first time donor appointment and it has no calendar nor does it allow you to schedule. I called the number several times and no one ever answered. How do you expect people to donate?

Bar far the best experience selling plasma!! No one wants to be this desperate to get some gas money but Reece did my intake and was so sweet and informative. Ask for Freddy to do your needle stick because you literally won't feel a thing. The best part is you can help a lot of sick people get what they need to live a healthier life. ??

Excellent facility. Very clean and organized. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, even when certain donors act rude or unruly. I see several bad reviews here, but I have not experienced anything like this nor have I seen anyone else. I don't have any intention of donating anywhere else.

I started donating about 3 months ago and so far things have been good. Staff is friendly and easy to get along with. Plasma donations are a blessing to others.

The staff here is amazing. The are efficient and courteous. They always keep me up to date with the latest promotions and get me in and out quickly.

I enjoy yhe environment here at the Austin (Slaughter) location, the people are very nice..

Ive had a great experience at this location. Friendly staff, and the promos have been significantly better than some of their competitors. I recommend this place if you are thinking about donating plasma ????

Christian & Doral always take care of me!! Such good service and good company to soothe my nervousness. Again thank you so much for making this an enjoyable experience as impossible as that was for me :)

I had started donating about 3 to 4 years ago at BPL on Airport Blvd. I found out that there was one in San Marcos and I live in Buda, so I transferred. I was there for a lil over a year until I waiting for over an hour one day to be told that my check-up results had not come back in the 6 weeks time frame that they should have said I needed to take my blood samples again and I could not donate until the results came back. I called to find the results and was cleared, so I transferred to the Slaughter Lane

This place is not a safe place to donate plasma. You've got a 3 in 5 chance you'll get stuck by an amateur phlebotomist.that will most likely miss your vein. No one cares about their job there or your well being. I would STRONGLY advise no one to go here. Not until they get qualified personel who actually know what they are doing.

Sydney was the nicest person and made this probably the best clinical experience I've ever had. I have never felt so comfortable doing something so nerve wracking

Coming in twice a week at this location for the last year has been a positive experience. The staff is kind and focused on the donors experience and wellness.

I am here at bpl. Not really feeling it. They are way under staffed. I am in back waiting to get stuck. I have been waiting for 20 min now. There is 3 ppl sticking ppl and 20 of us waiting to get stuck. This is crazy. It looks like another 40 min before I even get stuck. This is very frustrating. How do you not schedule enough people

This place is great, the staff always makes sure to excel in service, there was a time I didn't get a bonus and they were quic to fix that when I let them know, everyone is always ready and happy to help highly recommend this location

1st time I went in to spread the love around it went perfect. The lady who did my physical was very professional and thorough. Thank you for your kindness and appreciation.

Been back since the economy is raising prices ?? the extra cash really helps!! Staff is very friendly and respectful!! Shot out to Nate he was really nice and made me laugh ??

The representatives on Slaughter Lane, Austin, TX and I 35 in San Marcos, TX, were professional in every manner possible. The locations were clean. Beds were sanitized after every donor. Wish I didn't have to leave TX and go back to Florida. Good job folks and well recommended to any newcomers

Usually donate at the Airport Blvd location I figured I'd start coming here since it is closer to home. Everyone was great, it was clean, and there was no wait. The entire process took 45 minutes. Im glad that I chose to start coming here to donate.

It was first time donating and my last 4 1/2 hours they told me 2 hours max then when I complained because everyone was hooked up and I was just sitting there for 20 mins when I told the ppl in the office that said manager why was I being skipped they said they would check on it and they just kept on with their conversation not bothered then a light skin black lady with long blonde dreads in a black coat deliberately got a lady that just sat down and was staring me down and laughing very unprofessional a

Went in today on the 22nd of April for an donation. Everything seems to go fine untill I noticed my plasma was coming out as a very dark red/almost black color! I got the attention of a tech who had to turn my machine off & informed me I had to be let go immediately & could not finish my donation. Turns out what happened was the tech who set me up failed to properly set up the machine properly causing me to lose an SUBSTANTIAL amount of blood, so much that I have been put on a 2 month hold. Why are the tech

Awesome staff, and good money. Mateo and Shaylah rock, quick painless sticks each time. Been coming here for a year, and don't see a need to stop.

I call this location today to find out some information. While you don't have to make an appointment to donate plasma, they require a federal ID, your physical Social Security card, and proof of a mailing address. The mailing address on my drivers license apparently isn't enough, and I definitely don't like that they want me to physically bring in my Social Security card. There have to be more secure ways to verify information, most people don't carry their Social Security cards around with them so it's

Theirs come cool workers mostly the people who been there a while but new hires be careful I got stuck to deep by a new worker also they don't pay you on how many times you donate pay you by weekly visit I came Saturday and Monday and got the same amount of payment I think that's kinda scammy when some people work and can't make it on you guys time

The experience at BPL PLASMA is a pleasant beginning. The process is quick and friendly. However once you get to the donor floor it is a bit understaffed.on this visit it took almost 20 min to get assistance, then having to restick is very painful only to sit here an extra hour, and im not sure if its normal for blood to exit out from the needle still inserted..I think some additional help is needed and reassuring the Donor in times like this is beneficial to the continued success of BPL PLasma. Other than t

This place is great. The staff works efficiently making the donation process easy. Definitely going to keep coming back.

Staff is professional, Joann and Mateo are awesome, Joann has leadership skills she is friendly and when she sticks me I barely feel it, Mateo is very good and professional.

I've been donating at this facility on and off for four years. It's a good operation for side hustle money. I like them way more than old company biolife. There's several ways this company can make things better- improve the donation beds for people taller than 6 feet, I'm 6.5. Also give more of a good bonus structure, especially with rising economy and the huge amount a plasma bottle goes for incomparison to our small compensation. However, you gotta take the good with the bad in life. Biomat did raise

This was the worst experience of my life, I have never dealt with a bunch of people who doesn't know what they are doing and thanks alot Yvonne for nothing, you should be the first fired and everyone else that was involved should follow. This place need to be shut DOWN.

Good for quick cash. $30-50 for each donation. However, this place is annoyingly inefficient. Expect to be there for about an hour and a half each time you donate. The last time I went, I left after I'd spent 50 min there & still hadn't begun the actual donation.

The staff is very sweet and friendly, they always make sure people are good before they leave . More people should come donate .

The first time I donated plasma was about 20 years ago. I've given at probably every center in San Antonio. In SA the centers are packed to capacity. This place has been practically empty for over two hours and I still haven't gotten a physical. The new donor process can take a long time anywhere, but I've been here longer than I've ever been at a plasma place and I haven't even started

I've had no bad experiences with this place, until today. There is a sign reading "Upon your 8th donation you recieve a 60$ bonus." Today, on my 8th donation, my information sheet said I was only due 40, and that it was only my 7th donation. I asked the man who stuck me, and he confirmed it was my 8th donation and said he would get my bonus taken care of. At the end of my donation, I take my infor.ation to the front and ask the man about it. Apparently, because my first donation was last month, this is my 7

Since Grifols bought this company, I've decided to move back to BioLife. The floors are suddenly very dirty with discarded pieces of equipment. The process takes way longer than before. The people from corporate are rude. The only good thing here is the techs and MS.

Recommend this place. The phlebotomists check on you and make sure your donation is going smooth. They are also quick to disconnect you after your complete. Great faculty.

Just started scheduled visits. Experience today is I was only being put in to donate 45 minutes late from my scheduled time. Pathetic and unprofessional.

It's a great place and amanda is a very nice person and makes my donation convertible

Bpl plasma at slaughter is a hit or miss with customer service. The employees are usually in a good mood or not. Plan to spend 40 minutes-2 hours when visiting. They aren't conscious of your time at all. Ask for a black coat to poke you or your poke may hurt.

Always been a pleasure donating here. Clean facility, professional staff, and there's usually something good on tv while you're chillin. Also the compensation isn't bad at all

You will wait hours, approximately 3. The staff seems incompetent and walk around so slowly like they don't have a care in the world. Especially Christian. Unless you're a first time donor and can make $100 it's not worth $40 to wait 3 hours

This place is pretty awesome. Freddy is super nice and always does a great job. Rhonda at the front is sweet and is very helpful.

Im been going to this place for so long , i stop going for 6 months just to get a brake, but when i had returned to donate last week i had notice the Tech's are careless, and seemed they were more focus on their persinal life instead of focusing on the people that are donating!! I was there, plugged in, for more then an hour until i ask a Tech what was going with my machine, she checked the machine and she said it was not conected accurately! then she recalibrated it..... i was done in the next 30 minutes a

Always a good experience every time, the staff is very personable and makes sure you well informed and comfortable and probably the most organized and clean environment I've been to to donate plasma.

Thank you for letting us know about the good job Christian is doing. We appreciate donors like you, Sarah! Thanks for helping to save a life!

The staff and new Machines make it easier and quicker to donate! Slaughter Lane location, also, has good Promotions, Raffles, and ways to earn extra cash when you need it!!

Been donating here for about a year and it's always been a good experience. The place is clean, the staff is great and the bonuses make it worthwhile too.

I have only been to two plasma donation centers. I decided not to go back to the furrst one because it was so awful an experience. When I entered the BpL on slaughter ln. I was immediately impressed. It was clean, the staff greeted me warmly and there was free pizza slices to eat. I was blown away and have been donating here ever since. I would give five stars but y'all stopped having free snacks furr after donating! Please, please continue the free snacks program. Being woozy on the way home is dangerous a

I had been referred to BPL plasma by a friend and I should have listened to her when she said that there were problems with this organization. I had to get additional information on my health by my primary care doctor in order to be able to donate, but once this was done and reviewed a second time, not just the first time I came in and reviewed. my medical history but the second time after I came in with the release from my MD and we reviewed and reviewed and reviewed almost 2 hours I spent going over this

Friendly and always say hi and on their smile Always clean. Amanda R always make sure if I'm okay and always say hi when see me ??

This place has been amazing and all of the staff are great. I'll continue to donate because my experience has been awesome.

My experience at grifols was the best especially that they have such nice and caring staff I would highly recommend Freddy and Christian there the best you wouldn't feel a thing .

All I do is wait at this place. Staff if friendly but they are very slow. I spend more time waiting than on the machine donating. I recommend going to BioLife

I would give 0 stars if I could. Waited for awhile for medical when there was clearly no line. The only person who stayed on top of things was Carolina. I disagree with how this place is ran. It seems it's ran without an agenda, but instead ran by just ?winging it.?

The best place n coolest company n never a dual visit???????

The facility is really well run with seats everywhere you need to wait. They are very courteous and make the experience very good.

Donating plasma is a good thing to do. I've been doing for many years and the feeling that you get when you know that your Plasma is saving lives every day is really a great feeling. Stop by the Griff Grifols plasma center and donate today.

Love this place awesome people, they take care of you. If you or anyone wanna donate or plan on it this is the place too go. Thanks for all you guys do

The staff is always friendly, and they do their best to make each experience as quick and convenient as possible.

Because of a technicians mistake I now cannot donate for 2 months. That's about $800 that I would have had the opportunity to earn. I will not be coming back.

I have donated blood for 14 years and never have I been asked for more than a photo id. They wanted my social security number. And not just the number, an actual copy of my ss card. I think not. I'll go elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Love donating knowing that I am helping others and the compensation helps me spoil my daughter and all my pets. ????

Expect the process to take between 2 to 4 hrs at this location. It's always the same 3 or 4 employees that are dressed in black that seem to have a sense of urgency ..As for the rest of the team never seem to be motivated to do their job.

I heard about BPL from a friend. It's the best thing I could do to get extra money for whatever. I'm helping people with my donation and getting paid for it. I would recommend BPL to anyone looking to get extra money.

All the staff are really great. I donate twice a week and I'm usually out within a hour.

first time I donated here they blew up my vein and I had a haematoma for a week. Couldn't even close my arm. only came back because my tire blew out and I absolutely had to have it replaced. The staff here are very condescending and lackadaisical (I know they deal with a bunch of scummy people) but seem to hold themselves above everyone.

So I recently went to start donating and they said I needed blood samples. It took longer than normal to get the results and then said that the Physician needed to sign off on it and that he or she only comes once a week and they couldn't tell me a day because it's random. So I been calling all week and Medical never picks up the phone. I guess I will just go somewhere else. ??

I came here in 2017 when it was still BPL plasma. Into the 2nd full year of Covid-19 pandemic, with inflation up and gas prices getting high, I decided to come back and see they added so much more with more incentives as Grifols/Biomat. It's helped me get through the week and I recommend anyone that may need extra money and doesn't mind to help others that need plasma, the money you get, makes a difference.

Not going back after today!! I have the nastiest, dark purple bruise from an adjustment they made today. I've gotten adjustments before but this time I'm in pain!!

I went in and they were very rude. The supervisor stated that because I was homeless, they was not able to donate. I've never heard that before.

It's been great! The staff is courteous, fast, and efficient. Waits are reasonable and I can get in and out in about 90 min. Thanks!

Again, who is managing these places? This months (august) bonus advertisement notes 15 on 5th and 30 on 8th donations on the website. In this facility there is only a 60 on 8th poster (same august Olympic themed), and I have not seen any of it and I will be hitting my 9th donation before the month is over.

Workers were kind caring and I was well taken care of. Clean environment and made me feel very comfortable.

The workers here are super friendly and really fas, I would honestly recommend anyone to come in and help save a life...

Currently sitting here in the donation chair as I write. There's on one black coat work so if you want to be stuck correctly then you'll be sitting down waiting for at least 20 mins when you get to the back. Currently I've been sitting here for about 15 mins...... let's see how long this goes......

First time here and had a great experiance! will defenitly be coming back! Thank You to every staff member that was polite and made my experiance better!

Grifols on W Slaughter is the place to go to donate plasma. They've got great deals and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. S/o to Tamara, Brianna, and the rest of the plasma gang.

They always get you in a fast as possible, provide extra bonuses throught the month for comsistent donors, and even occasionally have food for donors. Great, clean atmosphere as well.

Went as a new donor so the wait was a while but my experience overall was great and the place is well maintained and the staff were friendly !

Great place to donate, no hassle, relaxed atmosphere, Dolores Gonzales needs a raise, she has been here for as long as I've been coming to this location

Amazing place! Good workers, great environment, would come back back 10/10. Got paid!

This place is extraordinary! Great location, very friendly staff by far out does any other donation center!

As an Employee Im not posting this for support but I was a Donor before an Employee and I was always treated well! Christian always did my sticks as well as Davina both are Beast at what they do!

I really enjoy coming to donate here staff is professional and friendly they make me feel welcome and they get u in and out in a timely matter

Very prompt on sevice acomidation and answering any questions needed. Been donating for years and havent had any problems. Love the environment. Its very peaceful.

Joseph is the best :D He is always friendly & kind

The people that work here hate they're job now they're two men that work here Freddy and Christian are the best and do they're best now there is this new girl with short black hair I think her name is Emily she is totally ghetto and shouldn't work there but this job won't fire her they only let go of the great ones and keep the unprofessional workers here just a shame and I do have a video as well to show how this place is i have video of how she talking and boy she has a mouth on her so unprofessional I al

Not so please with them changing the payouts and not informing anyone.. could at least give us a heads up cause it's not always implied

They do a great job of getting you in and out once you get to the floor. The new machines are good two.

I was here the other day as soon as they open and it took them a whole hour just for a screening. employees showing up late and taken they're time I rather you just choose a different company to donate plasma

All the staff there greet me with smiles and make me feel missed when i havent gone in a while , the only bad thing i can say about it is just the act of donating itself, the needle and scarring but other than that the BPL employees are A1 in my book

Everybody move slow you have staff members on the floor texting instead of unsticking and sticking people or even sitting them down it's not even busy and I've already waited 30 mins it's horrible

Love the atmosphere and playful staff but professional. Everyone?s personable and Nate who works there is awesome!

Mann they make us earn our bonus at THIS LOCATION with super long wait times. I guess Grifols needs to do more hireing.

This place is faster than the rest of them. The people are nice and they pay more than anyone else. I definitely recommend them over other plasma places.

Totally disappointed and injured only donated twice I will never return or send anyone I know I turned to this for extra income and came out black blue not right I thought it was supposed to be safe

It great place to come the staff members or great treat you with respect and great costumer service fast and do great job highly recommend..

Friendly staff and great environment. Easy and helpful way to help others and earn some extra cash.

Mariana is so great. She is very nice and always so friendly. I love this place!

Always very clean with a friendly staff. Mike the supervisor was quick and efficient.

Staff is great always attentive to donors and great attitude. I definitely recommend this location

Staff very nice and caring.Staff is well into there job& good people skills $ like to talk to people an

If your a person who likes to help others Grifols Plasma is the place to. Donating helps to save lives. The staff there are amazing as well

Awesome and love helping others and good people around.. here..I'm here loyalty to help always n try to give what I can n God bless everyone ????

I would get it 5 star if they will close at 7 pm LOL but besides that this the Best Plasma center I been too And Texas so far.get seen super fast :)

Always a long wait plus all the machines aren't being used it takes 30 to 45 minutes just to take vitals when it's only three donor's waiting it's just a bad experience all around

Tamara is the sweetest and most attentive person here very patient with everyone and always moving ??

Nice employees, but they recently removed all the waiting chairs in the lobby.

The new system with kiosk makes donating much faster and easier. The staff is really nice here better than most plasma places.
