These are really nice, good people who listen and are invested in their donors. They say hello to me way more often than I can say hello to them. Their managers are really good people. They care and it shows because they have been there for so many years. Great people and great staff. Compassion.

Incompetent phlebotomist bruised my arm and even after waiting three days there was ?a little yellow? so they wouldn't accept me for donation. 10/10 do not recommend, first time back in years after a bad experience with a phlebotomist here. Do yourself a favor and go to a different center. Edited to add their app wouldn't even let me make another appointment for 4 days because they todays appointment as a donation despite denying me. Weird.

Today I got taken care of by Jessie and Danni, they always talk to me and laugh with me while they do their jobs efficiently. They've been one of the main reasons I keep coming back!

Biomat is in my opinion the best plasma Center in all of Kern county. All of the employees are knowledgeable and well trained. Even the ones with only a month experience sticking. They have new machines that make the process alot smoother. I'm terrified of needles but They make it extremely easy for me to want to come back im at 27 donations now and it's relatively painless. I've been donating plasma at this place for a couple years now. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They received new machines recently and those help speed up the donating process, which is great time saver. I am able to pay my bills every month and have some extra pocket money while helping people out.

I just recently started coming here and late February but since I have been going it's always been a quick and easy process. Staff very friendly. The reception desk at 6:33 pm on December 15th 2023 told my wife they were happy to not have her back after wasting an hour of her time from an issue that was missed in pre-donation screening. Was accused of smelling like marijuana in the facility. Spoke to management in which he didn't care about the workers accusing people and no repercussions happens to the worker. Was told I made a scene when I spoke out about the incident so other donors know what's going on. Then advised me to go to another donation facility. If I don't like how I'm being treated. I left I'll go to another location so I don't have to deal with the poor staff and management.

Staff is Always friendly and the center is clean,they run their center on a tight leash which is great because some of the people who go in obvisously need stern directions. Went in for my second time today and so far it was decent. My first time was good as well. The staff explained everything to me and the steps it took. I have been donating plasma here since the beginning of 2021. Not only had this provided a much needed extra income during the pandemic, but I also feel good knowing my plasma is helping those in need. The first donation is pretty long but now each appointment usually takes me about 1:30-2 hours. The staff is always kind and helpful, plus the facility is always clean. I thought donating plasma would be an unpleasant experience but the staff at the plasma center on wible rd. Bakersfield make donating not only pleasant but quick and easy as well. The staff are friendly,courteous, and professional and create an enjoyable atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back.

People up front are rude. Atleast this one specific women . Half the staff is sick .. and they're not paying you enough for first time donors . They don't make first time donors a priority anymore . Takes hours to get your first donation in . (And not exactly because you're waiting see someone) everyone goes before you . You have to wait for return donors to go first. Over all I don't want to come back due to the way I was treated .

Out of all the times I have been coming to donate. Today, 3/15/22 was a terrible experience. I can take pain! However, I have never felt pain radiating through my whole arm during the whole visit after the needle was readjusted. I couldn't even pump fast enough nor could I rest my hand on the table. I Do not recommend ! I'm always having problems with them finding my veins, and resticking me they collapsed my veins in the right arm , I am no longer able to use that side due to that issue. Every time I come it seems someone in the staff is sick. There is usually 1-3 people coughing almost every minute or two. I was told the Sw office was happy and friendly but being we live right by Bernard street so we (husband and I) went there.. the front office girls were rude and stoic like it's was the end of their shift and couldn't wait to leave but it was only 2 hrs into their shift ..my husband couldn't donate as his license said william and ss card said bill .. seriously wth..his birth certificate says william.. I just couldn't believe what a awful place this was..I'd rather give my blood to h

I am a regular donor at the BioMat on Bernard and I can say this place is very clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. They're very good at answering my questions, so I feel comfortable going twice in a week.

Been coming here for over 10 years or so has its ups and downs but it helps me get by with dealing with bills and stuff while im not working at the moment and at the same time i get to help someone else out in the end thats truly in need of plasma Also the promotion they had for the Golden pass I been coming to this center for about 15 years and yet it wasn't me and how is that fair when I bet you anything the person that won it been only coming for a few months

I started going about a month ago. It took almost 9hrs for the initial intake. I am often left with blown out veins and bruised up arms. The techs act like it's somehow your fault they can't hit a vein which is frustrating. They advertise games and pizza and prizes on certain days. I have never seen any of these things happen.. i probably won't come to much in the summer. It will be to hot to cover up the huge banger bruises

I do not like this new Kios system thing don't understand why they don't let you come whenever you want they only let u donate twice a week and if they are closed on one of those days they won't let u donate a day before

Honestly I really liked this place until today , I was waiting to get hooked and some girl put the needle in wrong and was having problems the whole time donating then I told this guy that something is not right cause it kept stopping and he said because it wasn't put on right and he just made it all worse After that ! leaving with a bump on my arm and with so much pain and blood everywhere was there for three hours and got the nerve to only give me $10 !?!?! I will not be coming back to this one no more !

Currently in biomat plasma and have never been treated/ ridiculed over smelly socks in a physical exam. Tanika gave me my exam and i for warned her of smelly socks and she maintained professional; however another employee opened door made remarks in another language laughing quite loudly. In 5 min interval he returned 3 times laughing. Ridicule continued as i awaited to be called for bed. Laughing loudly making remarks like smells like sock tanikas trainer prompted employee to stop and shhh yet he proceeded

Horrible. I'm not always afraid for my life, but when I am it's at a biomat. I may have contracted a desese just by walking in. Very unsafe area, dirty nasty building. And what the website also doesn't tell you is they have a radius around their building that you must be in in order to sell "donate" your blood. I do not recommend this company. All locations are built in the slums and treated as such. Terrible business model, I would rather give my blood away for free then come here again

They ran me around in circles for 4 months before flat out refusing serve me. The staff barely even speaks english and are rude to customers, they are careless and don't even do their job because they spend all their time talking to each other and on their phones. Going to the plasma center on Wible instead.
