MAKE SURE TO HYDRATE AND ??EAT SOMETHING?? BEFORE U DONATE! I had a hypotension reaction because I didn't make sure to eat something ahead, AND THAT'S 100% ON ME. Staff is kind and helpful. They will walk you through every step and make sure you understand everything. I am gonna try again next week, and I will make sure I eat something, hydrate, and sleep well before I go in. Thanks yall & especially NP Terri ??

Went to go donate plasma the center had the wrong address when I came in the front desk reception was trying to give me to verify mail to an address. I've never lived it. I tried to get her to see the address on my license, but she wouldn't consider it at all. Very inconsiderate place went down the street to CSL plasma and was in and out in less than an hour and got $100. I will stay away from this place a lot of homeless roaming around, they're not very considerate of their donors. Very bad attitudes just

Absolutely horrible. You have to make an appointment to donate, and whatever time you make your appointment, don't expect to even begin donating until at least an hour and a half after that. Better clear your entire day if you plan on donating here. The employees are lazy and rude aside from two twin brothers. They do 90% of the work. Everyone else just stands around and looks bored/stupid.

This is a great place. There are several gifted phlebotomists on their staff, and I personally think they are very skilled at their jobs. I am prone to bruising, and this staff has avoided causing bruising. They are nice and friendly, and make the process easy. It may seem like a lot of steps to sign up, but it is worth a try, especially in this economy! I can't recommend it enough.

I never leave reviews on Google Maps, but after reading these 1 star reviews I felt obligated to leave a proper review so these rating are in alignment with reality. First of all, I don't think it's fair to leave a 1 star review based on 1 experience, which is what most of these bad reviews did. After countless donations over many weeks, this plasma donation center deserves 5 stars. Most of my donating sessions have lasted 1 - 1:30 hours. Where can I go and make, on average, $50/hour while playing on my

I've donated blood here a couple of times. Unfortunately I can't again but the staff was incredibly nice. They worked with me to avoid deferral and I appreciated the process they maintain to ensure that the blood is as healthy as possible for the donees

I absolutely love the place!. The people were nice and understanding, they answered any questions or concerns that I had, and the videos that they showed me were not at all and informative. 10/10 would recommend!

I can care less about donating plasma here I don't like the way people are treated here. The staff can be rude. I was talking to one guy a nurse and he just walked off while I was asking him a question. I felt so disrespected. I've been told that they don't respect the people Because they don't see their donors as respectable people for example, they may look at some people as bums or addicts I don't need to return to this place

I really appreciate everyone at my center because they treat me like family and not just another patient. I love it here????. Everyone is professional and caring to everyone.

The staff is great and have good manners. They talk to you like you're the concern... Like your the patient and they have to take care of you.

Every employee there is very nice and understanding. They make sure that every question you have is answered to the best of their knowledge.

I haven't been in years. Low on gas & pay day is another two weeks. The new donor process is always lengthy drink plenty of fluids. But, years didn't matter. Therefore, I don't like how that gap excludes you from new donor fees. Your considered a new donor. But will not receive that compensation. Again, process for first is lengthy please clear plans when planning to visit!

Wonderful experience every time I walk in the staff is very friendly and takes care of their donors I highly recommend donating.

Clean and everyone is nice and keep u happy your time being here. The workers here truly love there job

I love the staff here great environment

GRIFOLS IN BHAM HAS TRULY BEEN A BLESSING FOR ME! THE PEOPLE ARE NICE, PROFESSIONAL AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT. IVE BEEN COMING FOR 4 YEARS AND HAVE NOT HAD ONE ISSUE. FOR ME ITS TWO FOLD. I CAN HELP TO SAVE LIVES AS WELL AS EARN SOME EXTRA MONEY. MS KAT IS SWEET AND ALWAYS COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, AND SMILING! I DONT DO A LOT OF REVIEWS BUT I FELT COMPELLED TO BECAUSE IM VERY PLEASED AND GRIFOLS HAS TRULY BEEN A BLESSING TO ME...5 STARS!!! Glenn Stoudemire...

Awesome atmosphere very caring staff and always in wonderful sprite. Keep up the great work guy's.

Today was my first day try them out they are not considered about other people?s time the women in this establishment take their precious time getting to you ! & that's unacceptable you should always be considerate of other people?s time I sat in there 2 hours and only got my finger pricked I was told my blood pressure was high & that I had to wait a additional 15 minutes so I walked out then they tried to say they were just coming to get me I didn't even go sit for 5 minutes -1 out of 10

Friendly employees they are fast and professional great environment they make me feel like we family

The people that works there are very nice and patient and plus it makes s all about saving lives

I like this place I do, but if you have and associate yes one of those twins I'm not sure which one cause they look a like lol, but if he is known for mis sticks from people and his fellow associates, re train him especially if the person who is myself gets his arm messed up because of it then listen instead of making excuses, I told them I don't care about the money or if I even get compensated I don't care, just re train him not get angry with me saying you have no history of him messing up and that when

My friend inspired me to came and I'm glad I did very good service and they are very informative

Nice workers made it easy to donate, and the people in here all are chill. Will do it again.

The workers here were very disrespectful to my friend who was just wanting to donate plasma. She was disrespected based off what she was wearing which was not even inappropriate. I would suggest going else where, where the workers have basic respect for patients.

Easy cash now! Great fast service. And right now is the best time cuz your either getting $50 or $100 Everytime. New patients a $100 first 6 times and for every friend that you refer, you get $150 after there 2nd donation. Somedays I feel like everyone is staring at me because sometimes I'm the only white guy there, worker or donater. A few can be a little rude but I just overlook it and say yes/no sir/mam. If I was bigger maybe not but at 125 lbs. they probably don't see me as a 32 yr old man trying to hel

I didn't really have a bad experience going to this place. It didn't nearly take as much time for them to do the paperwork and call me to the back as some ppl have suggested and it was my first time so I had to fill out a few papers. It took about an hour in total. However once I got to the back they said my veins were to small and I wasn't able to give plasma nor was I compensated for my time, however it was extremely cold in the building and I believe my veins had just constricted. It was a clean environm

I, absolutely love this grifols?? there staff is professional and courteous and the atmosphere is always great ??

I normally really like it here, but today a young woman was waiting in the lobby with her toddler. Her partner was obviously in the back donating. She had been here for about 10-15 minutes at least when finally someone kicked her out. If this is an FDA rule, why was she allowed to sit inside for so long? Also, this is Alabama and it's hot out. They could have made an exception. The child was well behaved and quiet and sitting on her mother's lap. For a place in the business of helping people I find it horri

I would literally give this a 0 if I could. If you have a job working with people, i would suggest you be respectful and professional. There is no reason to disrespect someone for something they were wearing, ESPECIALLY if it wasn't inappropriate. It was inappropriate of your staff to disrespect my friend like this. My friend wanted to donate plasma, businesses like you NEED plasma to save lives. Why would you deny someone because of what they were wearing?

Wait times have expanded from 2 to 3 hours during the week and 4 to 5 on Saturday. Ive had a couple of problems waiting on the money to be loaded on my card but other than that, no complaints. I'm very friendly with the majority of the staff and I respect what they have to deal with that people on the outside don't see. In my opinion, things could go more smoother and quicker if they would hire at least 2 more stickers and have a section for new donors only while have the other 2 sections for returnees and

I'll never come back to this place to donate!!! I have very mild eczema on my arms which was never a problem until MR.RUFUS turned me away saying my arm isn't clear and I want be quiet so he can talk. I have no flare up what so ever my rash just hasn't cleared up yet. Ezcema takes months sometimes year to clear up. I feel as if they should get more educated before they turn people away. I simply go to my other local plasma center and have NO PROBLEMS!!

After a few glitches when I first started donating here, the staff is most always great,The Twins are awesome every single time

They are very hard working individuals that's make life goes by when other individuals don't have none

Went to this location because I was referred. I donate blood often and when I was informing a friend how school was breaking the pockets she suggested I donate plasma at this location for money. I called prior to coming and asked a series of questions. I get there 2 days later and when I get there they tell me that I am 5 miles out of the radius for where they can service so I wasted even more money that I didn't have.I personally think that is the vital piece of information that should have been told over

They stay so packed here! Mainly, because they pay ?? better than any other plasma center around... BUT, because they stay so crowded, ??BE AWARE?? that if you're bringing someone/someone brings you they won't be able to wait inside with you. They'll have to sit in their vehicle a me(nd wait or if close to home????.... GO HOME OR TO A FRIENDS HOUSE AND WAIT!!! You'll thank me for it lol ????

My Favorite Staff?? Very respectful, clean & great people!

The staff is very rude and I got a possible deferral for no reason at all. I've been donating for over 2 years and as soon as I go to grifols I have a problem. Also applied for a position up there and the light skinned guy with the glasses did nothing but try and find a reason to not hire me. I hate this place and will never be returning! And they only pay 10 bucks more than biolife. But with the childcare and appointment system that biolife has. I'd much rather go to them. Fun, friendly and clean environme

The staff here are friendly and professional and treat you like family.

Go here often, they can be a little slow sometimes but the trick is to go when it's not many cars outside. E.g.: rainy day. But for the most part the employees are cool.

Wow! I have never in my 40 years of living on this earth been treated with such indignity and disrespect. I was PERMANENTLY deferred by the Manager of this franchise Paul Harris after an Officer Young falsely accused me of bumping into him. I have donated Plasma here for almost 2 years. I love all of the Phlebotomists, Techs, Nurses, Q.A. representatives etc. Myself and my fiancee attempted to donate a few Saturdays ago. That morning before arriving we had an argument. While waiting for Biomat to open my fi

I love everyone up especially ms.Kat she makes it worth coming

Great center, excellent friendly staff. Stop in and donate you want be disappointed!

The manager m, Kibbey, and nurse, Cedrina, need some lessons in customer care and service. Extremely slow (as in 7 hours with not many people there and that's before you get to the back to donate). The manager, Paul, was kind and friendly though. He should teach Kibbey and Cedrina how to be kind.

The staff there are a joke. Rude, disrespectful and very unprofessional. Even has a police officer there to assist them with there bs. Got to be the worse donation center in Birmingham I would recommend anyone to try Octapharma Plasma in Midfield. Great staff and very professional!

So unprofessional treat u like u begging for change or some I guess not realizing they wouldn't have a job if ppl stop coming in!! U sit in there 5-6 hours like a whole damn shift just to give 25-30 mins ago worth of plasma they just simply don't care an the staff always have an attitude makes u not want to go back and give no matter how much they're offering

I love this place there are like my little guiding ?? they come in handle and the staff are like family the best of friends and they keep it ??. With Biomats help I've mange to save enough to buy 3 cars for my kids n i within 3 yrs time. Thanks Biomat & staffing 1 ??

Grifols?s is my second home and I love my extended family my coworkers of course.

The people here are like another family for me the environment is great

Staff is very friendly. They made my 1st experience a great one. I love coming here

Current Address on Id but could not donate because I didn't have piece of mail but the prompts said " if your Id has current address then all you need is id and social security card". Had to go to another plasma donation center to donate.

Best plasma center in Birmingham

I have no complaints staff is very nice..

they are nice and polite and easy to talk to I need to do

I have a wonderful time, clean safe and quick come and save a life

The Staff is very rude,,this place do not know the value of a plasma Doner,,,,,I have a relative who is Alive today because of Plasma,,,,,To ,Give a Doner,,, 20 dollars at any time,,is a Disrespect to me,,Having a Blood Transfusion cost thousands of dollars,,or receiving plasma cost thousands,,,But they only want to give u Twenty Dollars after the fifth (5),,,,,This is not right..And the staff Paul Harris which is the management was Very rude n disrespectful,,,After being explained that it would only be 20,

Grifols is a great place to come to give plasma the staff are really nice and it's a good place to be.

I love Biomat they are like family to me all employees are nice and cool and I have and good time when I'm there it's like home away from home and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else

So ive found out that if you are a welder your chances of being able to donate are neil cause i had teeny tiny spark marks on my arms lol thats some bullshit sat in there for 5hrs to be told that so all you whom weld or even use a grinder dont go to that place its not worth it

The worst place I've ever donated.Very unprofessional and I strongly recommend that you don't go there. The time you waste there you cannot get back. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Booo...very very slow. Seems disorganized. I've been donating for 1 month...50% of the times that I have donated.. the "wait" time to see if you can donate has been over 1.5 hrs. For a repeat donor..that seems like a long time.

they give false syphilis reports. alot to people have u up set

Slowest donation place ive EVER been to rude employees/nurses and bad service over all my boyfriend donates but i NEVER will we were here 6 hours when he was a new doner and was previously promised a fast and easy process smh

Great staff! Easy to work with. It's been great every time I've visited!

Stay away from here, in this facility, the manager has said once you sign the contract, you have removed all rights. They can cause an embolism and be legal.
