MAKE SURE TO HYDRATE AND ??EAT SOMETHING?? BEFORE U DONATE! I had a hypotension reaction because I didn't make sure to eat something ahead, AND THAT'S 100% ON ME. Staff is kind and helpful. They will walk you through every step and make sure you understand everything. I am gonna try again next week, and I will make sure I eat something, hydrate, and sleep well before I go in. Went to go donate plasma the center had the wrong address when I came in the front desk reception was trying to give me to verify mail to an address. I've never lived it. I tried to get her to see the address on my license, but she wouldn't consider it at all. Very inconsiderate place went down the street to CSL plasma and was in and out in less than an hour and got $100. I will stay away from this place a lot of homeless roaming around, they're not very considerate of their donors. Very bad attitudes just

Absolutely horrible. You have to make an appointment to donate, and whatever time you make your appointment, don't expect to even begin donating until at least an hour and a half after that. Better clear your entire day if you plan on donating here. The employees are lazy and rude aside from two twin brothers. They do 90% of the work. Everyone else just stands around and looks bored/stupid.

This is a great place. There are several gifted phlebotomists on their staff, and I personally think they are very skilled at their jobs. I am prone to bruising, and this staff has avoided causing bruising. They are nice and friendly, and make the process easy. It may seem like a lot of steps to sign up, but it is worth a try, especially in this economy! I can't recommend it enough.

I never leave reviews on Google Maps, but after reading these 1 star reviews I felt obligated to leave a proper review so these rating are in alignment with reality. I've donated blood here a couple of times. Unfortunately I can't again but the staff was incredibly nice. They worked with me to avoid deferral and I appreciated the process they maintain to ensure that the blood is as healthy as possible for the donees

I absolutely love the place!. The people were nice and understanding,they answered any questions or concerns that I had, and the videos that they showed me were not at all and informative. 10/10 would recommend!

I can care less about donating plasma here I don't like the way people are treated here. The staff can be rude. I was talking to one guy a nurse and he just walked off while I was asking him a question. I felt so disrespected. I've been told that they don't respect the people Because they don't see their donors as respectable people for example, they may look at some people as bums or addicts I don't need to return to this place

I really appreciate everyone at my center because they treat me like family and not just another patient. I love it here????. Everyone is professional and caring to everyone.

The staff is great and have good manners. They talk to you like you're the concern... Like your the patient and they have to take care of you.

I haven't been in years. Low on gas & pay day is another two weeks. The new donor process is always lengthy drink plenty of fluids. But, years didn't matter. Therefore, I don't like how that gap excludes you from new donor fees. Your considered a new donor. But will not receive that compensation. Again, process for first is lengthy please clear plans when planning to visit!

Today was my first day try them out they are not considered about other people?s time the women in this establishment take their precious time getting to you ! & that's unacceptable you should always be considerate of other people?s time I sat in there 2 hours and only got my finger pricked I was told my blood pressure was high & that I had to wait a additional 15 minutes so I walked out then they tried to say they were just coming to get me I didn't even go sit for 5 minutes -1 out of 10

The workers here were very disrespectful to my friend who was just wanting to donate plasma. She was disrespected based off what she was wearing which was not even inappropriate. I would suggest going else where, where the workers have basic respect for patients.

I didn't really have a bad experience going to this place. It didn't nearly take as much time for them to do the paperwork and call me to the back as some ppl have suggested and it was my first time so I had to fill out a few papers. It took about an hour in total. However once I got to the back they said my veins were to small and I wasn't able to give plasma nor was I compensated for my time, however it was extremely cold in the building and I believe my veins had just constricted. I normally really like it here, but today a young woman was waiting in the lobby with her toddler. Her partner was obviously in the back donating. She had been here for about 10-15 minutes at least when finally someone kicked her out. If this is an FDA rule, why was she allowed to sit inside for so long? Also, this is Alabama and it's hot out. I would literally give this a 0 if I could. If you have a job working with people, i would suggest you be respectful and professional. There is no reason to disrespect someone for something they were wearing, ESPECIALLY if it wasn't inappropriate. It was inappropriate of your staff to disrespect my friend like this. Wait times have expanded from 2 to 3 hours during the week and 4 to 5 on Saturday. Ive had a couple of problems waiting on the money to be loaded on my card but other than that, no complaints. I'm very friendly with the majority of the staff and I respect what they have to deal with that people on the outside don't see. I'll never come back to this place to donate!!! I have very mild eczema on my arms which was never a problem until MR.RUFUS turned me away saying my arm isn't clear and I want be quiet so he can talk. I have no flare up what so ever my rash just hasn't cleared up yet. Ezcema takes months sometimes year to clear up. I feel as if they should get more educated before they turn people away. Went to this location because I was referred. I donate blood often and when I was informing a friend how school was breaking the pockets she suggested I donate plasma at this location for money. I called prior to coming and asked a series of questions. I get there 2 days later and when I get there they tell me that I am 5 miles out of the radius for where they can service so I wasted even more money that I didn't have.I personally think that is the vital piece of information that should have been told over

They stay so packed here! Mainly, because they pay ?? better than any other plasma center around... BUT, because they stay so crowded, ??BE AWARE?? that if you're bringing someone/someone brings you they won't be able to wait inside with you. The staff is very rude and I got a possible deferral for no reason at all. I've been donating for over 2 years and as soon as I go to grifols I have a problem. Also applied for a position up there and the light skinned guy with the glasses did nothing but try and find a reason to not hire me. I hate this place and will never be returning! And they only pay 10 bucks more than biolife. But with the childcare and appointment system that biolife has. I'd much rather go to them. Fun, friendly and clean environme

The manager m, Kibbey, and nurse, Cedrina, need some lessons in customer care and service. Extremely slow (as in 7 hours with not many people there and that's before you get to the back to donate). The manager, Paul, was kind and friendly though. He should teach Kibbey and Cedrina how to be kind.

So ive found out that if you are a welder your chances of being able to donate are neil cause i had teeny tiny spark marks on my arms lol thats some bullshit sat in there for 5hrs to be told that so all you whom weld or even use a grinder dont go to that place its not worth it

Booo...very very slow. Seems disorganized. I've been donating for 1 month...50% of the times that I have donated.. the "wait" time to see if you can donate has been over 1.5 hrs. For a repeat donor..that seems like a long time.

Stay away from here, in this facility, the manager has said once you sign the contract, you have removed all rights. They can cause an embolism and be legal.
