I only gave a 3 due to the worker Luis! Walking in and seeing him really is a bad start to my visit ! Even his coworkers complain about how he does not move !!!! He walks in slow motion and if your machine is beeping purple he'll rather go talk than to unhook the patients. If he's miserable and it's not the job for him then he needs to find another! Cause he's bringing down this Facility. He has no sense of urgency!!!! It's sickening !!!!!

The facility is ok and the staff is nice but what they fail to tell you, is that you will receive $100 for the 1st visit and then the price decreases with every donation afterward. They still take the same amount from you and they will make the same amount for your plasma, but will pay you less and less for it. My 2nd visit, I was given $85 then was told my 3rd visit would be $60 and then a flat rate of $45.... all information that they leave out until you go to collect on the 2nd visit. False advertisement

Horrible customer service talks to people like they are kids and has no respect for anybody timing . This is literally the worse CSL plasma center in Charlotte nc ! They do everything but they job . They complain and talk junk to donors as if that is alright . They are never organized they always say it's not supposed to be a long line going back to be stuck but it always is.

The staff always goes above and beyond to help people at this csl north tryon and I've never had any issues at this location!!! I'm extremely disappointed with the experience my girlfriend had as a first-time donor at your plasma center. Despite her attempts to seek assistance, she was not properly monitored, and it wasn't until she began to pass out that staff rushed to her aid. Much of the staff here is polite, friendly, and caring. As someone who has long struggled with inadequate phlebotomists, I can happily say every phlebotomist I've had set up my donations here has been amazing. Lines are sometimes long but staff does their best to keep everything moving along as quickly and smoothly as possible.

They are extremely slow I have been donating for a year and it's only gotten worse. You stand in line for over and hour before you even get to the chair. First time donors don't tend to have the best experience from what I've seen and now the time it takes to give is absolutely outrageous. I thought they would improve over time but it's been months and they show no signs of addressing the issues.

My recent visit was just like all the others super unprofessional staff. Going thru vital checks is always tragic. Today I had the pleasure of hearing someone's whole phone call while they were checking my vitals. Super unprofessional to say the least. I just don't get how this type of behavior isn't reprimanded in a workplace such as this.

This place was actually not bad compared to what the reviews said lol . I encountered a worker named Nicole and she made my day so much better than I was already having . Process took a little lengthy but after getting checked in and past the front desk attitudes and me ear dropping on the staff drama lol she helped take my mind off of everything that was going on around me . So you're only allowed to donate twice in a 7 day period, we all know this to be the law/plasma donation regulation. But as long as you do not donate on two consecutive days, I can donate on any day I choose. I donated on Monday and came back today, Wednesday, and I was told Thursday was my day to come back. It takes forever to even be seated. Employees are so sluggish and unenthusiastic, it's depressing. They're more concerned about office drama and going home. I had nothing but a fantastic experience here! The staff were efficient, compassionate, and just lovely. I ended up having an episode of extreme nausea following my donation and the staff were so sweet and attentive. I am so pleased that this is where I donated plasma for the first time!

Lines take forever to get through because of staffing. The employees joke around and don't take their jobs seriously. I know my 1 start won't make the situation better, but instead it informs future donors to go elsewhere. If you're closer to a BioLife, go there, they pay better and they are quicker. It's like comparing McDonald?s and Chick-Fil-A. No comparison.

If you have any kind of disability, don't expect the staff to be polite and try to make any accommodations for you. Instead, you'll get a snappy attitude saying you must stand in the line and there will be no accommodations. I won't be going back.

I donate frequently and usually have a smoothie visit besides the wait times. This visit after waiting 20 minutes after being done donating and still being hooked up to the machine not able to leave KENNY a bald head doctor looked at me crazy and ignored my question when I asked if he could take me off of the machine because I had been sitting there for a while and it appeared he wasn't doing anything which he then told me he wasn't going to do it because he another doctor would which all the other doctors

Staff is completely unprofessional and incompetent of giving thorough directions. They were extremely rude and loud. The open use of profanity amongst this staff was uncomfortable for me. If you want a decent experience, I would suggest going to another location.

This was my second visit. The employees are very professional and courteous. This time there was a supervisor or manager there. This lady was rude and disrespectful to the staff. I've made two donations and have had two very different experiences. My first time coming in, (11/11/20), I was left unattended for some time. The whole process took three and a half hours... They work at a consistent pace and are kind and helpful. Very thorough with the disclosures and training and consent requirements. They do get backed up often but that's mainly because obviously you can only pump blood/ plasma so fast out of your body but the workers are very knowledgeable and skilled in their profession. Told couldn't donate due to needle mark from giving blood at my Dr Ironically instead of upholding the drug testing policy like the contract you sign says they will. I was told to leave and that I couldn't donate without a doctor's note which they never say u need until it happens. What's the point of a drug testing policy if u won't uphold it, simple process that takes 5 mins and they would've seen I wasn't lying

I will be going for my third donation today. I don't know why people have a bad idea about donating plasma. This location in general is just fine. Everyone is friendly. They speak to you when they see you. They smile. I haven't had a bad experience yet. I do recommend showing up early, like right when they open. I donate in 30-40 minutes and plus check-in, I'm there like an hour. Drink water, y'all.

I'm usually out in an hour and half, takes me about 45 min to donate, they staff is quick and professional and very helpful. the lines do get long depending on day and time so time accordingly!

I just got turned down to donate because of my injuries! I spoke with management they explain the rules and regulations to me . As I was leaving a employee by the name of (med) Chirstin was being rude and unprofessional! I felt very hurt and verbally abused because she had no right to discuss a donor information with someone not in the chain of command..

Not a good experience today I'm watching csl plasma drawers walk around with the same gloves used on other clients and when you say something to them they want to be sarcastic. Not feeling that csl employees needs to follow protocol cause what I'm seeing training is needed still.

I had a great first time donating at the csl building. The staff was very friendly, the whole process and directions was very clear and easy to follow, and my time was reasonable there. Great place to come to.

I had never donated plasma, only whole blood, prior to my visits here. My first visit went well, though lengthy, and staff was friendly. My donation ended a little short (I got light-headed) but they responded quickly. I had donated about 75% of the intended amount. I got a pretty bad bruise from the first donation so waited for it to heal before I returned about 10 days later. Upon my second donation, they had issues with the stick. Drove 30 miles to find out they only take certain people from a certain area, my wife was halfway thru with physical and they stopped her short because she lived to far away. You think a business trying to build clientele would not make such restictions. The employees at this place didn't seem professional at all. Oh and they pay less than other csl in area another way not to build clients.

Last couple experiences have not been good, specially this last one, all I can say is don't get stuck by someone who is in a rush to leave and am being very verbal about it

Sometimes you eat within 3 hours and your iron and/or protein levels aren't adequate to donate. A technician here suggested eating two to three raw eggs just before going to donate (if you haven't eaten in the last 3 hours) and it has worked for me EVERY TIME to keep both my iron and protein levels at the donation standard.

Here lately have been in lines lasting more than a hour .Front staff will stop doing screening and be left in line for up to a hour .today is the same way i have already been in the screening line 30 min and still waiting..I have always donated for the past 7 yrs but this is getting to be to much

I was there for the first time on wednesday, and as a new donor it typically takes 3-4 hours,and I was completely finished in 2 1/2 hours..the staff was quick and attentive and evryone was friendly..matter of fact I'm going today!! Thanks CSL

Have donated here several times. Always understaffed, and takes 2-3 hours for a simple 45min donation. I will be going else where, and I hope this review saves people time.

Full of antis?mites. They refused to accept my various forms of identification and then told my husband, who was wearing a Star of David on his hat that he "smelled" and should go home to "clean up." I'm dead serious. The place is full of HOMELESS PEOPLE! For the record, we both showered within an hour before arriving. Unbelievable! My apologies to all of the patients in desperate need of donations.

First time there as a new donor came at noon and left the building at 5:30pm Process took too long and the worst was that the new nurse working there put the needle not properly in my vein!!! The machine was only pumping my blood the senior nurse came to me cancel my donation and sent back my blood to another vein so I can GET PAID THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! I'll Suggest any new donors or anybody to seek another center literally they rushing without paying attention

Don't donate here. 50% of the staff is rude for no actual reason, they false advertise bonuses that they don't pay out (except to people the staff is cool with, I've seen it) and wait times are disgustingly long.

Love the staff but not the incentives. Other locations up your 7th or 8th donation of the month by $20+. This location does raffles for speakers,grills, bikes, etc. This method in my opinion would not get this facility more donors or even keep the one's you already have.

Once was ok as far as plasma centers go. However in all of the gossiping that happens on the floor I found out they decided to stop giving out band aids at the front as a cost saving measure. Yes you will touch the stylus that another individual that was pricked with a possibly bloody finger to sign an agreement with your also possibly bleeding finger. Today not enough up front taking vitals. They chit chat and gossip while 30+ people in line smh. Last week when pulling needle out arm my blood flew all on the bed. And the lady whiped it up with a paper tpwel ??. No cleaner solution at All ?? Week before when pricking my finger i asked for a bandage ( being that now i have an opening on my finger) and im around blood. They said they dont give them out anymore smh

1st. They stopped giving bandaida at screening to savw money per mgt. So folks are dripping amd leaving blood wherever. 2nd screeners are bad ABOUT not chamging gloves. They stick a patient and so their thing and use those same gloves on the next person. The scales are wrong, THEY KNOW TGOS AND DONT CARE. IT SCREWS ANYONE WHO IS 115LBS. in 1 screening samw scales changing NOTHING, i qwnt from 109 to 106 to 111. I guess this eliminates them having to pay out to low vloume domors1. I go here to donate and all the workers do is talk about each other IN FRONT OF donors. MANAGEMENT needs to put more people on their schedules in order to keep the wait and lines down. Period.

Unnecessary wait time. I waited an hour and a half and still wasn't called for the initial screening and it was nowhere near busy. Will not ever go again. When I asked about it they said that I would be next and 3 people went ahead of me after that.

They disconnect people without changing gloves. I had to ask a MANAGER Jenn to change her gloves after she disconnected someone then came straight over to me to disconnect me. She thought she was about to touch me without changing her gloves.

First of all, coming in as a new donor, I was lied to & told that there was a closer Csl to me, which I knew to be untrue, they just wanted to go home & didn't want anymore new donors, I finally started going through the process & the lady checking my blood count that happened to be a little low was laughing & discussing my results with the lady beside her, I felt like my privacy wasn't protected & the staff was very unprofessional, @ least the ones I had the pleasure of meeting.

Often times staff is very slow in the front & unorganized.I have waited in line and watched people who came after me get screened before plenty of times.Then when you let the staff know they are calling people out of order they get very rude

Took my son there today the waiting room was empty but told I had to wait in the parking lot ( I am disabled) then bruised my sons arm and told him he had to come back in a couple days he wasn't there to buy drugs cigarettes or alcohol he was there to feed his 6 children the staff is very rude I have pictures to prove what I say
