Ive been donating for the past 10 years and I dread going through the new donor process because of how long it takes. This visit was different and the process didnt take long at all. Thank you so much to Kristin for helping me out and making this process quick!!
The experience was great.Elie at octapharma plasma are wonderful. They only experience I can say wasn't great or even comfortable. Was when my bottom number on my blood pressure was down to 108. And they still wouldn't let me donate. I have had experience in a different state that was exceptionally well. I've never had an issue. my only disagreeance with octapharma if some people can't keep their bottom number under $100 they cannot donate and in reference to donating plasma shouldn't affect anything in tha
Meagan has been such a kind person, and a great worker. She very efficient and has a bright smile everytime we have visited! Most of the people there are great with awesome & comforting attitudes. They look out for you and ensure you have a quick and seamless experience!
Love coming here. The staff is awesome and I especially look forward to working with Megan. She's the best and really knows her way around the center. She pays attention to the guests and really knows how to turn their day around with a smile. 10/10 recommend this donation center and Megan's expertise. ????
Not sure if mine posted but Megan was my person to do the in take she was patient and kind! This place is clean and so far nothing but friendly people! Happy people make me happy! Megan upfront deserves All the stars??????
Megan was one of the nicest employees. I felt really comfortable with her, she made the process easy and efficient.she has a positive attitude. I definitely would like her to screen me every time.
A wonderful experience with the team at Octoplasma with their goal of getting us in and out quickly. Everyone working together and it seemed as though they were all enjoying the workday. Excellent job!
I met a woman today ms Kristin was amazing she truly cares great new employee who truly cares about her work fyi she's really cute????????thanks you guys this plasma center has gotten me through so much hardship and it's been a pleasure every time
Very nice management/director onsite. Most of the staffs are friendly and decent. Even though I've been a victim of indirect group stalking here in Chattanooga and elsewhere, I do feel safe coming here in the Octapharma center. When others do stalk, they stalk and text to each other of my whereabouts. I've Never collude with anyone to try hurt anyone or any particular Race in the past real life, I just wrote it down on my personal diary about a bullying incident from a big guy that I tried to avoid by wa
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The process was painless and as my first visit everything was explained in detail. It was a pleasant visit. I was highly impressed! I will continue the process of donation. Thank you all for the great experience!
The people that work there are amazing but they can't keep anyone and 3 times now I have went to donate and they were closed without any notice or paper saying it. I come from 30 mins away to donate and I wasted gas once again because they can't keep crew. They need to get that part together otherwise the people that do work there like braylen, cait and Abdul are sweet and kind.
They are the best ones in Chattanooga! And Kristen is the best sticker you all guys she's the sweetest. She's the fastest one doing the checking in Kristen is the only reason I keep coming back.
Kristen Cofer is my favorite employee and the best sticker. Her attitude is always nice and never changes. Plus she always shows her beautiful smile that can make my whole day alot better. Thank u Kristen for everything!
Mrs. Cofer and Brandi are the best and have the best attitude and treat donors with compassion. Mrs. Cofer is one of the reasons i will always return to this location. Very clean and super polite staff.
I luv when Troi is in the front. My blood pressure is always high and she calms me down by her kind word and making me feel relaxed. If u want a painless finger stick have Troi do it
I have had wonderful experiences there. Everyone is very polite and caring. Even when they are short staffed they work hard to take care of everyone. I love octapharma plasma. They are like family to me.
This was my first time coming here and everyone was so sweet to me and the process wasn't to long for being a new donor. I like that they are really professional and they like to make sure you are good as well!
I've always had a good experience when i come the staff is friendly and fast pace keep up the good work also shout out to Megan for uplifting me today I appreciate you girly
I've tried to donate numerous of time but couldn't donate due to staff not getting the right blood flow or veins but today I came today and MRS Cofer was very experienced an helpful I felt safe around her a this was my first time I was able to donate . Mrs. Cofer your awesome i recommend her to deal with ppl who are nervous paranoid about the situation
Aye, I really don't enjoy getting stabbed with needles ?? but Kristin Coffer is some type of ?wizard?.. I never even feel a prick when she skewers me. ?? It's honestly mind boggling. 10/10 would recommend. ????????
Staff were friendly and efficient. Space was clean, although by the time I left the bathroom was out of toilet paper. :( Overall, very good experience
I came here Sunday to donate. I always notice that they barely gave you any gauze and they fold it over. Which is cheap because at other plasma centers they give you a lot of gauze because people bleed through all of the it sometimes. So I get done and I noticed that tape they used had blood on it but I thought that can't be right. I unwrapped the tape and it actually was dried blood. So I went back up and told management could they give me an HIV test and the man said yes. I came back Monday for the test
I REALLY like going to Octapharma Plasma because the people that work there are great and they make you feel comfortable, safe and appreciated. The workers are the best their ALL very friendly and nice and they make you just feel good about yourself and they never judge you for anything...!!!????????
Brandi B. is awesome. She always has a bubbly attitude. Always nice. This girl deserves a raise!!!!
I really appreciated the helpful, upbeat ,friendly , highly professional staff today specifically Caitlin , McKenna , Shamecia ,Emoni , Precious , and especially Julie.. I really appreciate you guys !!
Kristian, is the best she stuck me the first time and she continue the best of all the time. She stuck me today and didn't feel it she the best fr. Julianne she is the the best two , I like the ladies they sweet to me and others to.
Very nice employees very helpful and just kind hearted I loved my visit I will be back to give plasma again soon
Very friendly staff and Comfortable atmosphere. Makes u feel welcome
Today's donation was great! I was in & out, the nurse did a wonderful job sticking me & unsticking me, didn't hurt at all. It was very clean & smelled clean. Service was on point, very respectful, polite, & welcoming. This was my second time going & I will definitely be going back!!
Meagan was super cool! She was really helpful and answered any questions and concerns I had before donating.
Thanks, Megan was very good to me when I came in. Everything went great from the time I walked in til the time I left.
Fast easy process. People were super great. The phlebotomist had no problem finding the spot right on the spot.
They absolutely will break HIPAA and give out personal information to other patrons. I'm so serious about this that I'm already talking to a lawyer.
Friendly staff cool ppl meet the most nice lady i think it was ms brandi ez n out ????
It was my first time and I was nervous due to the fact of a doctor with the needle as a kid was traumatizing so stay away from them unless they have tattooing on them but the people did great
My experience this time was not good. I wasn't able to donate. Upon giving a second blood sample I was told i would be paid for it. Although I kept being told I did get paid I never did. I felt like I was being called a liar. 10 dollars is no money to be lying about. Not sure if I will return to that place again. I am not a liar.
Very clean, wonderful staff. Plus quick service. Top place to donate
Meagan is absolutely amazing. She has a great attitude and she is a keeper!
I love mrs.christain she the best sticker this place has....I will wait literally on her to stick me ???????? give her,her flowers ????
Meagan is absolutely! Great! I'm always glad to see her face!
They need to fix and post their correct hours because they're not open from 7 AM to 7 PM every day
I love Kristin she makes the whole experience a joy and she's awesome at her job
It was a good experience the place was playing and very professional I look forward to going back
Meagan she has a great personality! Definitely keep her
I had a Great experience n glad to help out
Everything went well the facility was clean and everyone was friendly.
Trying to figure out if I am a worthy candidate to donate plasma, but I keep getting turned around with making sense of each day. Perhaps it will work out tomorrow?
Best place ever.. people are so nice and helpful
Shoutout to Megan for always being so helpful and getting me in an out in a timely manner.
It wasn't a good experience today. My machine was messing up. I took about a 2 hour and They Don't Have Know Good Stricker At All But One And If You Get Struck And Can't Put Know Blood In The Bottom I Don't Think That's Right To Pay You 5 or 25 Dollar!!!!!!
Excellent staff. Will definitely refer more people
Ms Cofy is the best sticker in the business great person very good at her job 5 stars
The staff where very informative. I had an over all good experience at this location.
I like octa plasma! The employees are the bomb! I have my favorites but Mrs. Kristen Orfitz (hope I spelled it right) she's the best! And Abdul, he's always so polite!!!! Sometimes they're a little backed up but what do we expect?! In today's society every one is trying to make a little extra cash! I love octa plasma!
Kristen is amazing good personality and really knows what she is doing
Staff very nice . Wouldn't go anywhere else.
THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNDER STAFFED so you might be there for way longer than it should take cause these people are cool on coming to work. Seems they could take their job or leave it! It doesn't matter to them. And the donations become insulting! Oh yeah, the app estimations are off. They START off fine but become completely insulting. $30 for my life force is WILD! Pick another spot to donate.
Takes hours to even get your vitals , I was in line an hour and a half before they got my vitals . Then had to wait 45 minutes to even be hooked up to a machine. In all will have been here 3 hours and i drive from Dalton .Very slow, need more employees and more organization , better leadership needed ! Still the same need someone aho knows how to schedule employees or get up and help their employees.
I was left waiting on the donation chair for TWO hours before a technician helped me. No updates on delays. No apologies. At one point I asked politely, acknowledging that maybe I wasn't seeing everything. I was met with barely concealed rudeness and dismissed. It left me with the feeling that I am an inconvenience, when in fact it is us who voluntarily keep business running. Extremely unprofessional.
Plz keep Troi in the front!! she's great I alway hope she's in front when I come in so she can screen me. She makes the little sticks not hurt so bad. Wait times suck sometimes but overall staff is great
It's was a great experience and imma keep going back to there excellent care
I Arrived and only two people in the donating line. I thought I was going to do my questions in line but somehow the app had kicked me out. I end up having to go to the kiosk and do my questions. There were two screeners so by the time I got back in line there was only three people I went and sat down before you know Abdul Was calling my name to go be seated. I just started donating back I have been a regular donator for years. I had Kristen stick me I'm not an easy stick Her and kaitlin got the line knock
Meagam is the best one,I'll always love to see her
The staff is wonderful especially Elie, luna, bri, katy and braylan they are really good workers their very nice an funny even if they are having a bad day you wouldnt know it because they dont bring their problems to work?when i come i make they day n they make mines nothing but laughter good environment to come to
I really enjoy coming here. I know most of the staff as I've been coming for almost a year. Sometimes the lines are long but they're always working hard trying to get everyone screened. The staff is always professional but with light hearted spirits. Always make me feel welcomed. All the ladies r great and couldn't be more appreciative of them. It's always a pleasant experience. Liz is the best ?????? I love yall
Troi is my fav !!!! I wish they'd keep her in the front permanently, I never feel the pricks when she does it, even when she takes me off the machine it's painless.
I Like Going To Octapharma Because It's Quite The Stuff Is Nice And Friendly I Will Recommend Some More People To Come And Donate There Me And My Husband Go There. The Payment Is Real Low And Don't Like When They Take Money From Your Card When You Get Money Off Your Card.
Came to donate for the first time, and was very pleased with my experience. When I was stuck by kevin it hurt a little, but was good. The young man Alex took my needle out, and I didn't even feel it. Amazing!
It's easy and very professional .. we can always improve!
Everyone that i encountered was very polite and nice. Place very clean and UpTo date great experience. Adding more to my previous review, everyone here is amazing and so respectful. I feel comfortable coming here, .ost of all my donation helps a lot of people which makes me feel amazing and very happy.
Stuck both my arms girl was unable to find vein. Still made me stay over 2hrs. Waste of time. Lots of ppl went ahead of me even when blood was returned and machine was green.
This place targets poor people that's why its located where its at and its the least paying plasma center around by paying $30 for return donors lol they other places such as CSL ended that low donor fee years ago now but this place stayed with it because of where its located sad but TRUE
It's was pleasant but after I got done donating. I find that don't have replacement cards. This should be told to a patron BEFORE donation!
Great experience. Facility was very clean and well ran. The staff was very helpful and informed. Kristen was extremely kind and helpful. I love to be able to help others and make a little extra cash :)
Kristin is 1 of the best at octapharma she's a great asset to what little team they have she is a rockstar & a great person she just makes you want to come back she is always smiling ?? she's kind and does a very good job I believe she absolutely does her best and is very productive I don't normally write reviews but she deserves it and should be recognized
Brandy is mine and my honeys favorite person at this location. Her smile and great attitude make it easy to want to keep going back. She is also a professional and keeps everything running so smoothly. You can definitely tell when she is there the difference in the atmosphere as well as less of a wait time. Keep her at all costs! She is the best ??
I can't believe how friendly everyone is here! I'm usually scared to have my arm stuck but the Phlebotomists here are the best I've ever dealt with. I was stuck by a gentleman named Russ and dare I say?it felt good. Supervisor Kimberly was also so nice and helped me with all my payment questions. Best plasma center in the area!
My first time there was long which is expected. The crew was awesome with answering questions. I have a hearing impairment and Berlan was great.
I just started donating this month. I was referred by my granddaughter. She received $ for referring me. Wait time has been more than I expected. But all of the staff are professional, courteous, and friendly. I enjoy each encounter with a staff member. I do not know all of their names.Braylon is very nice and does a great job very informative and professional. Caitlyn is always moving quickly and smiling. After researching plasma donating, I feel a sense of really helping by giving plasma. Thank you, octap
so i came here to donate and she turned me away for how i was dressed, which is fine and all, but when i asked why i was being turned away the woman whispered ?it's the way you're dressed? as if i was dressed wrong. i?m literally wearing shorts and a croptop. she could?ve just said i didn't pass dress code. i asked could i go home and put a t-shirt on she said no and when i asked why she simply said just can't. i would?ve been fine if she gave me an actual answer. and then i asked when my boyfriend is done
As a new donor I expected the process to take forever, but it really didn't. All of the staff members that I encountered were very professional and helpful. After watching a couple of videos and doing a health screening and physical I made it to the back to finally donate. Out of the group of people that I got seated with I was hooked up to the machine almost last but I finished first. Not a bad experience for the extra cash throughout the month
Staff is friendly but like most places, they seem to be very shorthanded. My physical took an exceptionally long time. My advice to new or lapsed donors is to allow a half day for this process. After that, it's usually under 2 hours. Facility is clean inside but tends to be littered at the entrance and in parking area. I was happy that the donor area was more quiet than many times I've visited. Update: I was unexpectedly deferred with the company stating I had a red blood cell loss. My cycle was comple
I had my very first experience with Kristin and she made me feel very comfortable from the start. Her energy was very welcoming, she even told me her daughter has the same name as me just spelled with a y which I thought was really unique lol so overall Kristin is an amazing employee as well as the others that I've come into contact with during my experience at Octapharma thus far.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful
If I could leave a zero star, I would because in my opinion, they don't deserve one period. I go in to donate for the first time after having to drive from another state because Chattanooga was the closest from where I live in Hollywood alabama. I get there, watch the video, do the vitals everything, and some questions, and did all the consent questions...... Then just before I'm to start my donation, I'm called into a little office to be asked more questions which I thought was strange considering I done
I haven't had any problem with them, they charming with the people who come in, the girls know what they doing I can barely feel when they hook me up. It be so peaceful when I go there to donate. I like it there. the only problem I would say is the people who come in they be on the rush talking trash and that's uncalled for it.
This Octapharma 133 today a lil short staffed I noticed Caitlin ( busy bee) holding down the floor averaging 5-7 mins per patient....very impressed with the staff even at 642pm ... outstanding work ethics! Russ is the Director here at the Chattanooga branch
I was here Friday June 4 and today both times Sam was the one that stuck me and unhooked me. I've never experienced a great proffesional friendly visit at one of these places. Sam is very friendly very professional great at her job and just an all around great person. Definitely will be coming back when she is working
I couldn't hate this place more than I do it's truly always disgustingly dirty people are rude and unprofessional and walk around looking like they are confused. If you have ever been to CSL this place will truly disappoint you. Oh and they wouldn't give my gf and the referral bonus even tho I used her as my referral. Edit: came back 6 months later and still this place is the worst plasma center I've ever been to in my 16 years of donating.
Very easy and the staff was very kind. They will answer all of your questions, so don't hesitate to ask.
I love my experience there. The phlebotomist on the floor are awesome! The payment is low almost not even worth going.65$ for returning customers is crazy. I can't imagine weighing less and only getting 40$. Grifols pays 125$ once a week for returning customers. I've heard many customers talking about going there.
Vey short staffed but they did try their best to get people out the door once finished donating. I sat in a chair once finished for 20 minutes before they got to me to disconnect donation chair. If completion was quicker you would definitely get 5 stars
Braylan is awrsome! I didnt drink enough water so this young man assisted me for well over a half hour, messaging the line to get the blood flowin again. Very personable, professional and punctual. Please acknowledge this young man for me as he was a great asset in my time of need.
Everyone is always friendly and is very gentle
I don't think I got all my money for donation. All I got was 25 dollars
Braylin is currently a octapharma employee at the Chattanooga, TN location. In my opinion, he deserves a 5-star review.?? I am submitting a deserved review of Braylin.?? Braylin is dedicated to taking care & ensuring his donors are taken care of. He is very good at his job because I have never felt even the needle going into my arm. He always asks how each of us are, if we are comfortable, feeling fine & checks on us as we are making our donation. His skill-set is commendable. He is always Professional and
Good place, professional friendly staff, clean environment, I would recommend, and I normally don't write reviews.
Amazing team !! Brandy is always happy and ready to do her job .. Mr Ed is very enthusiastic his attitude is great.. Sierra Tracey and Sam Are always able to find my small veins with almost no issue .. Great work guys
2 employees were screening donors I'm the only person in line to be seen after those 2, both employees look at me don't say anything and walk away to the room directly behind where they are screening and can be seen fully. Gossiping and cutting up with 3rd employee. The 2 original employees proceed to ignore me and walk away to go to the floor where there are about 8 donors hooked up and multiple employees on the floor, so not needed. A full minute passes before the 3rd employee comes to the screening area
I want to show a gratitude to a special person (Braylan) who showed his hard work today when no one was helping him when there was a extremely long line today he was moving fast to do his best to get the line down and I just wanted to acknowledge his hard work today thank you soooo much for showing how much you care about us as donors today braylan you are the best and continue to be great, showing us donors you truly love your job for the care of donors.Kudos to you!!!!!!!!!
Staff is great, wait times can be a little long due to shortage of staff Appreciate the care Nate gave when he was unhooking me.
last time I came here was told I couldn't donate cause u have lazy eye i told the person that my doctor said I had lazy and had proof and the doctor ask me if I was on drugs multiple times not worth it everytime I come there always something last time I went the lady pricked my finger hard it left a bruise also once one of the nurses missed my vain and wouldnt fix it spent almost 40mins in pain and discomfort
I'll be going for my 4th time in a couple of days. I LOVE the staff already. Like, every single person. Employees are very professional, quick, hard working for hours, with the best attitude and atmosphere I've been in, in quite a while!!!! You can't go wrong helping out with life saving medicine, so way to go and GOD BLESS everyone.
I love all the people here! Kalicia is always so very nice and has the best personality! Kevin is always nice and so funny!!
The staff are generally very helpful and friendly, but the wait can be very long. I guess because of all the lengthy process and all the people coming in there's no way around that. But make plans of long waits and you should be fine.
Absolute work experience I have ever had. I have my identification an employee look at all of it then they made me sit in the lobby for 45 min and when they went to take me for my physical. I was told they could not take my license due to my married name. I have no issue with my identification at the state and it was checked when I came in. The employee was very rude about it even though her colleague verified my identification. Not to mention while I was waiting in the lobby two employees proceed to yell a
I had a good experience. I am new to the process and have donated twice now. The staff do a really good job and are gentle. The machines do a good job of alerting you to how things as are going. Vivian and Soso are especially great.
Great place, but zero organization skills. Definitely takes longer then it should because of it. Employees are super nice though. Kim is the best!
Very clean, very friendly and a pretty easy process. However on my second visit, I realize some of the staff like talking about the donors in not such a good way. Very disappointed in that. Not very adult acting.
Ed was amazing. My fianc? is legally blind and Ed walked him through every little piece of the process and even read him all the papers. All of the staff there are so sweet and professional, and They all genuinely care about you. 10/10 would recommend.
Brandy was so amazing! Kind, and took her time to explain the whole process. I would gladly recommend her to anyone.
I wish zero stars was an option. This place has the laziest employees there are. My husband works until 5:30 every day so when he donates he gets there at 6:30. Two days in a row they tell him his protein is too low. It's supposed to be at 6.0 and, supposedly, the first day it was a 5.8 and the next day it was a 5.0. On the third day he went back first thing in the morning, causing him to miss work as well as get chewed out by his boss, and his protein was at an 8.0 and the nurse that was assisting him told
The facility is very clean and nice. It was my first time and I never have gave plasma before. They explained it all very well to me and the staff is very helpful. I'll be coming back again soon.
When you go to octa definitely request Emily if you can when she's working it takes me 38 minutes to donate that's record time too but if you can't get Emily definitely request Jayda or Caitlyn they are also really skilled don't be scared especially if you're near these 3 sweet caring phlebotomists. Hands down the most gentle.
I've been here for almost 20 mins and have YET to be greeted or told what to do, besides other donors telling me where to sit and wait. ... But I'm currently watching a performance being graded by another staff member. .... I'm just thinking... That's not really a PRIORITY with a waiting room full of confused people. ????? Still gave a 3 cause it seems to be pretty clean in here ..... EDIT: I came back in today to give a second chance. I ended up spending three hours of my time. To be told that they didn't
The staff is so professional and courteous. Malikh and Kayt are awesome!
Fast, knowledgeable, friendly, and utterly funny at some points thru out my short time. It was my first visit. Yes, it was long, a lot of questions to answer but, they quickly got me thru there and trying to donate what little plasma as I could at that moment.
The place is clean and inviting. My first interaction was with a Ms. Valerie. She was such a delight. Friendly and smiling with such an upbeat personality. My next was with Ms. Karen. Almost made me want to go back to CSL. Maybe Valerie can teach her some customer service skills.
Staff is great and good at their jobs. Unlike some other places like this I have never felt un safe there. The pay out is good and never had a problem getting my compensation.
Everyone was so very nice and helpful and went out of their way to make my experience as pleasant and painless as possible.
If I have been stuck here as long as I have, what difference do you make? This Mornings Meeting says Kristen. I don't want to hear about it on Friday. Pay Her. Them.
The ladies up front are super nice. Morgan in particular did a great job with the actual draw. And I think her name was Jo Jo, forgive me if I'm wrong, but she helped me a lot as well. Thats the only two that have drawn from me so far.
Love this place. Everyone is so nice. Ms Brandy that does the vitals is so sweet and funny. Every time I see her she puts a smile on my face. The best person that has stuck me is tracie
Brandy is an amazing employee very kind uplifting with a wonderful sweet personality she's cool and very patient and helpful. Thank for your vivacious spirit. Keep up the excellent service.
Heard great things so i thought I'd give them a shot. I was turned away however as they were not taking new donors due to them being short staffed. I was informed to return at 7am the next morning. Which i did- only to be told the same thing with the exception to wait till noon. My third trip will make or break any further dealings with them as I've never beeb turned away at CSL. I felt like they did not value the uncompensated time spent or expense incurred to me by their poor management. As an update on
I'm a newer donor and I'm familiar with other centers. This facility does not take the best care in sanitation. The screening staff is very nice. The phlebotomist are very slow and ghetto as if getting people in and out is not their main priority. The machines are newer models and the process of donating is quick (once you're finally stuck).
Most of the time it's great, but lately way to short staffed, screening last night 1/29 , I stood in line for over a hour, it took about 3 hours to get in and out, I live around 40 minutes away so that makes for a long day, the staff that is there most of them try to make things easier, but some just like to talk to each other like people aren't waiting,
If I could give a negative score I would. A two hour wait and was still waiting to be called back. They have called 6 people back in two hours. The entire time the workers stood around and talked making no effort to get anyone called back. They're at least ten people sitting in the floor while the workers stand in groups laughing. No professionals apparently work here. CSL is a better place
Ms. Brandy is a very hard worker and attentive to your needs. She helps in all departments and she is always smiling and interacting with donors. I love Ms. Brandy I hope this company keeps her around she is a great asset.
I have had a amazing experience at Octapharma. The warm welcome an overwhelming friendly demeanor is abundantly felt the second you walk through the door. Every one is professional an the building is immaculate, never seen such clean floors. Every visit feels like I'm coming home. Thanks for the amazing experience
2hrs and 30 min sine up time just to tell me I can't donate. after I told 4 people I was a type 1 diabetic with full synthetic insulin. just so the 5th person can tell me I wasted my time
The first time I came here, I wanted to call corporate and tell them how bad there company was doing. The workers move very slow. Then you have other workers who look competent enough to work but instead just talk to the patients. This is just a company that's just running but not effectively running. Its disappointing, they could do 1,000 times better.
I was told my days was Mondays and Wednesdays so today I went, counting on the fact I would be able to make it home if I could donate and it didn't go that way so, 1 star because yall waisted my valuable time
Magen does a great job for this plasma center
The staff at Octapharma are the best. Service is fast and friendly.
The experience was just okay because they are noticeably understaffed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I just wish there were more of them.
Braylon is freaking awesome and I enjoy coming here and seeing face on the floor he's professional and he's very informative about everything that he's doing on the floor and he puts ur safety first
Bre is one of the best screeners.always professionals and great at multitasking. She is focused on the person she is screening and knows how to keep the line moving. One the reason I keep coming for my extra cash needs
The staff may be great, but the wait time sure isn't. You will be here for at least three hours. Screening line for an hour, then waiting in lobby for another 30-1hr.... We all keep staring at our phones, accepting things that aren't fair or proper.... This place sucks!! Just admit it
My favorite. Started at csl a few years back and they were nice at first but have a huge problem staying focused. Lines usually out the door. Octapharma is so nice and everyone there is so sweet. Love the staff. Always in less than an hour because I'm tiny and make sure I eat and drink water before I go. Very quick to unhook you which is my least favorite part when I'm done cause I'm cold and the stuck area will ache if it stays in too long without pulling or receiving. Amazing. Love them!!!
Very knowledgeable nice people! all around great staff and I had nothing but an excellent experience here! Gwen is the best! That girl knows what she's doing and is darn good at it!!!
Both Caitlin & Kristin are AWESOME! Very professional and caring. They make each time I donate a great process.
I was there for more than 2 hours before I was told I had a condition that would keep me from donating. The people that work there are not very motivated. I think they should have a sign for new donors to read stating the conditions and medications listed that would keep you from donating,so they can read over it and know early on they can't donate,so they can leave and get on with their day. I will say I appreciate the doctor explaining why my condition kept me from donating. I do think I should have been
Staff is great once they can get to you; but arriving at 4:50 and leaving at 7:25 is a bit much for a returning customer. They could use extra floor staff
Very clean facility. Amazing staff.
Brandy was amazing and made me feel important. And the lady who completed my physical I think her name was Rylane was very good as well! Great place and awesome staff
Omg!!! Amazing staff. No long waiting in line. Traci Evan's was awesome and very helpful. Alexius was also very good. She doesn't hurt when she pokes you ??
I was ask to give a protein sample it took me 5weeks of calls to confirm that It came back. Then I was told to come sat or Sunday to find out after I got there my day was Sunday so I can sun morning like I was instructed to do by the staff and the guy in there was by himself ignoring me while he told other new doners to come back cause he was by himself and when I finally got him to acknowledge me he was rude and unprofessional. The day was 7/09/2023.
megan was very nice and respectful
I love this center, it is very clean and well managed. They never allow a donor to have to "wait" for very long periods whether it be screening or the donor floor. The staff is well mannered, friendly and professional. Up front Kayt, Brandi, Jarrad, Alexus, Ed and Molly are extremely exceptional and always have your back. As well as a few others of whom I can't recall their names. On the floor its almost every employee who is a delight, Gwen one of my most respected individuals and friend almost family at
Went in for intake as a new donor and I was in and out in no time I want to add two exceptional employees although most are great but Dee And Brie are the best ones and very sensitive to my needs personally when inserting a huge needle and getting to me quickly when I'm done Great Job ladies keep up the good work I would definitely like to hear some music playing in here also
It's very clean, sanitized, and the employees are exceptionally well groomed. The over all feel of the place, is they're very professional in what they do. The pay is better than the other centers in this area as well.
Ms.Brandy do not mind taking the extra time to help me she is awesome. Keep her around she has a Beautiful spirit and smile.
Everyone's is nice to me when I go to give . I have no complaints thank yall
Very easy app to use
There are so many things that I could say about the staff at Octapharma Plasma. Jason, the manager of the location is top shelf A number 1. He's always available to help donors with their concerns. Traci and Morgan are the BEST of the best on the donation floor. They genuinely care about us donors and watch us like mother hens. Sam is always there to laugh at my dad jokes....which brings me to Miss Brandy at check in. She's always got a smile and good word of encouragement for donors and she's an Alabama fo
Brainerd rd @ Germantown location. Everyone is friendly and aside of being short staffed they do a very good job at moving us donors from start to finish in a timely manner. Thus far ive been stuck by atleast 10 different people and they have all done an excellent job! No pains/burns/etc. I give praise to every painless stick and thus far that`s all of them, they work hard and are doing so short staffed. 1st time visitors get 7-100$ visits and continuous twice a week visitors will earn 65$ (after those7)
Caitlin Quinn is one of the best phlebotomist she is very caring and amazing about making sure your comfortable while your donating. She definitely is amazing at her job..
Kristin is a rock star! A guru with a needle! Plus, she took it upon herself to disconnect me after she noticed I had been green for a while even though she had other things to do. 10/10
I have driven from Cleveland to donate here because my experiences have been very good! However, I drove 45 minutes this morning to donate, and upon arrival, they tell me my protein levels from my last visit were too low, which I understand is strictly procedural business. They have me sit tight. I sat there a little over an hour just to be told, essentially, go home. They said they'll have to have me drive 45 minutes to give a sample (not donate, but a couple minute sample) just to send THAT back for testi
I actually like this plasma center better than the other ones I use to go to years ago, it's quick, clean and the workers are pretty cool. They make you feel real comfortable. It's like visiting some close family members that you have not seen in a while
Went in around 4:30 PM EST.on the 10/12/23. I was 16th in line to get screened & only one screener. He's awesome, but he can only do so much. Only 2 phlebotomist sticking. Didn't get out till 7:11 PM EST. The wait time is getting ridiculous along with the scheduled workers. The pay has decreased for regular dedicated donors, & increased $15 for the non-dedicated donors. Priorities are WAY off. The price per litter of plasma is roughly around $55, I donate around 948 litters. Everyone's different with weigh
I love going to this facility. The staff and nurses are great. Bre is one of my favorites as well as Kim. Always very helpful and friendly.
THE BEST WORKER THEY HAVE IS BRANDY SHES SO LOVEABLE & Understanding she always have good conversation & makes me feel so welcome every time I come with the biggest smile on her face ?? a smile that can brighten anyone?s day
Great staff. Always friendly even when I have been late. The outside looks super Sketchy, could use a bubble bath. Too many vagrants hanging around. Clean on the inside for sure.
Very good first experience with Octpharma. Abdul at the Chattanooga, TN branch went above and beyond with his customer service! A all around nice gentlemen!
Ok so for starters the nurse who done my physical was wonderful!!!!The guy at the front was super sweet and helpful but when they went to stick the needle in to draw my blood they had to restock me not once but three times and after giving my blood my friend referred me for starters and he never has gotten his 50 dollar bonus added and u can't contact them at all to ask why also they finally emailed back n said it would take 24 hrs for him to receive it well it's 2 days later n still he hasn't received his
They are good as far as the flabotamoist an the workers there they are just generally slow an don't have enough staff up front to check vitals other than that it's a great place to go. If they could get people in an out it would be the best one. But CSL is a much better center for donation but this is a second best.
Understaffed, and the staff that they do have look miserable, there's no order when it comes to assisting customers. And management seems not to care about any of these issues. They are about to lose donors and I'm going to be one of them.
I was glad I picked this place for my very first time donating the staff was so helpful. I was nervous at first but they calmed me down and was there checking on me and making me laugh to keep my mind off of donating. It's the best place!!!!
Every time I come in here, I'm greeted with nothing but rudeness, they aren't careful when sticking you with needles, and every time I am here, they some how clot my blood, but the second I go to another donation center, I don't clot at all, and they pull a full bottle every time. And every time I clot, they begin threatening to make it where I can't donate again. When I am able to donate at other places. I will not donate here again. And last time I came, they bruised my arm so badly that I couldn't move
I just wanted to say Thank You to Seth , Vivian, and Marcia... I'm extremely difficult to stick , at first I was being stuck 3 or so times and oh I would bruise so bad and I wouldn't be able to donate .. Then these guys saved me they are great at what they do and even though I hated bothering and having to ask for them every time... Honestly I would've had to stop going if not for them.... So Thank You guys and just so it's clear everyone I've met in this center has been kind , respectful all together jus
My Name is Jasmeen Morgan, I definitely can say the staff members were amazing my first time going that now they have me wanting to come back. Plus, I'm grateful to be able to give back to the people #Save #Lives #Donate #Plasma
Octapharma isn't a bad place to go to, unless you run into having to do additional blood tests because your protein levels are a half point lower than the standard. When that happens, you are stuck calling and calling, only to get the all staff are busy line, or told to call the next day. It has been a week and a half of this. Obviously the calls aren't as important. Again, it is a good place to go to, but if you get in a situation like mine and have to wait on a phone conversation to come back, then you a
Nice people and very clean
I'm not sure what happened to this location, some of the people are the same but now instead of an hour to donate it takes up to 3hrs or more. No one is EVER ready once you pass the screeners. 7 people are in position to donate but we have set here waiting to be stuck for 25 mins. and counting. While ONE person, supervisor, is setting up stations, sticking, on one side, by herself, there are 3 on the other side yet still EXTREMELY slow. I use to want to work here SO much but now with the constant machines
Took me 4 hours to sign up, I had my patience and didn't really care how long it was taking, I know they are busy people. But I go to the bathroom for 2 minutes and a woman really told me to leave because ?I'm not allowed to go outside and she called my name three times.? First of all I didn't go outside, I went in their public restroom. I'm sorry I waited 4 hours and couldn't hold my bladder any longer. So I was forced to leave after all that time for nothing. Truly upset me. Next time please tell the dono
This place was amazing was my first time there and the supervisor Gwen is professional very intelligent and know what she's doing. Also there was this tall guy he had a very nice smile it put a smile on my face.
This facility is clean, brightly lit and staffed with knowledgeable caregivers. I was walked thru each step patiently and politely. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience and left knowing my donation was appreciated.
Brandy, she is a awesome team player. She has a beautiful personality and spirit. Anyone that walks into the plasma center she knows them by name with the mask on. Brandy always have a smile on her face and a sense of humor that can make someone's day a good Donation. I enjoy coming to this plasma center.
Friendly , helpful and very professional. I would give it 6 stars if I could. And the phone screening makes it even better!
This plasma center is so much more polite and actually cares about their clients or donors which ever is preferred. They always get me and my husband in and out fairly quickly. I'd give 10 stars is it were possible.
Bre is Awesome!! She really cares how your day is going.. she is a professional and a great member of the octapharma staff. Keep making people smile Bre.
Awesome staff and very professional
Cliff is always professional and very sociable every time I come here, great guy! The facility is clean and the process is quick and easy. 10/10
I am a regular here, and have been for the last few months. Too many people rely on this place for income now. Expect to be here for three hours at least, even on weekdays. As I type this, I can smell the man in line behind me....I dread that I will be forced to smell his nasty smell for the next hour. I need money, or I wouldn't subject myself to this torture. If you're donating plasma to help save lives, then go donate at the blood center. The blood centers don't pay you for your plasma, but they take ca
Management has a continued and longstanding disconnect when it comes to safety and security issues for their patrons inside their building. Somebody can assault and physically batter you in their lobby and threaten physical harm to their patrons inside their lobby. Not only will they not provide security or call local law enforcement but they will force their patrons out of their building to be further assaulted in their parking lot. Basic security is lacking. Management makes basic persec mistakes like tel
Brandy does a great job at her job she always makes me comfortable. Traci she does a great job at sticking as well I also like Ed he's funny.
Brandy always has a smile on her face and is always so welcoming when I am there. They are very face paced and all so welcoming when I come. Would always recommend.
Workers on many days talk instead of work and causes them to not have as good sticks..alot of bad flows bc they talking instead of looking at the stick and even when they are completely dead have to wait to get disconnected bc workers are slow and lazy and always have a conversation to end before disconnecting everyone. Literally causes a person to take 30-1 hour longer literwlly just watching them talk and waiting on them to go to their next task
Really simple to get set up, decent pricing, the atmosphere was comfy, and everyone was nice.
Now let's be completely honest. You ask for reviews about your facilities that people visit to sell their plasma. But what do you do when someone turns in a bad review or calls management to report an incident that happened? You sweep it under the rug like it never happened. You do not reprimand your employees in any way at all. So what's the use of asking for something you are not going to pay any attention to?
I was deferred to day for having to high of a temperature 102 had her retake it was 97.5 she still deferred me don't know what is going on but some one needs to fix it I have called to talk to mgr can't get him on the phone no one will call me back brandy said she would have him call me nothing that's why they have lost 75 percent of there doners this place is a joke can't get no one from corporate on the phone
Christian, Tracy,Greg, johnita,Taylor T, And Mrs Brandy are the best they can stick they have good service in I don't have to worry about them rushing with me I feel comfortable with them all you go guys !!
Came here on a Sunday waited in line over half an hour when I voiced my opinion, a staff member a middle aged man with grey hair and glasses "Russ" I think his name is said that if you want to walk out walk out but I don't need you to voice your option. Last time I checked I fought in war and took a bullet for this county to earn the right to voice my opinion I will not be coming back to this location. The gentleman in the picture is the disrespectful one. Update: Apparently free speech isn't respected he
Because I never received my pass of my reward that I'm supposed to get when I receive Platinum
Don't waste your time here, shady staff in the front office, I was being singled out the the supervisor and people in the back because of a faulty machine, and even got paid less then what I was supposed to for a full completed donation.
They seem to be alot faster and a little more efficient than CSL, however the pay card always has issues and I never received my referral bonus for referring someone who switched just to help me out with the referral. They've told me 5 different things now and just keep giving me the run around. I'd rather go to CSL plasma and wait a little extra longer because the money is always instantly on the card, the referral program works like it's supposed to everytime, and if you have a question or an issue it's r
Very clean and professional!!
Just wanted to give a big shout out to Mrs.Vivian thank you for taking the time and caring for me it really says alot... The world needs more people like you and it would be so much better.. Keep on smiling cause your worth it....
Its as efficient as could be expected when working with the public. I have Definitely had worse experiences with other centers
There was a problem with my payment but the guy in the back with dreads fixed it very fast and didn't blink an eye.
All of the staff here is very nice and helpful. I've only been a few times so far, but the experience has been pleasant.
Very weird can come to help save lives and because u are currently in hotel due to waiting on your house to be ready they turn u away but yet see people that look drugged out and that's okay smh
Brandy Is The Best Ever She Makes Me Feel Relaxed & Comfortable While She Takes My Vitals I Just Love Her She Always Has A Smile On Her Face.
Continuously turned away by one staff member due to ?high bpm?, even though I've been donating there for a couple months and have had a high heart rate every time I've come in. If you have any sort of social anxiety that may increase your heart rate in a large social setting, don't bother
My experience with Brandy was accurate and she was very friendly. She was the best screener I've had.
The lines are always to long for a person who has standing problems. The need more employees.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
