I would Not recommend donating to this facility. The front staff is insensitive and at times, rude. They call your name out loud across 2 rooms. The staff can't be bothered to take couple steps to front waiting area and kindly show you the designated area to take vitals. We are people, not animals to be yelled at. I have a different full name, the staff butcher the pronunciation of my name time and time again. It's culturally insensitive and disrespectful, I have brought it up to Management. No changes. N

Upon entering the facility people with appointments at 4:30 had not been asked to sign in until 5. An employee and her spouse walked in and had appointments after me. But they handed the girl at the desk a go to the front of the line. I feel that if they are going to donate they should have to wait like the rest of us. Why do they throttle the check in process? 3 times I arrived before my appointment and could not check in, they asked me to have a seat and they will call me when it's my time to check in. Other people with later appointments or same appointment time but walked in after me have gotten called before me at least 5 different time already and it's frustrating because it's a long wait as it is and feels longer when people cut the line ahead of you. Workers have been pretty rude lately. Workers keep telling me my hair doesn't match the photo and give me attitude but they never take a new photo. It's Really Hard Trying To Get There When You Live On The Out Skirts Of Fresno Depending On Public Transportation And Call Saying You Might Be A Little Bit Late. With A Short Time Period. And It takes Up All The Time You Can Be Doing Something Productive In Your Life. And Get Denied Cause You Have To Run. Then Your Hole Day Has Been Waisted. Make Sure You Plan 2 Hours Ahead Of Time. So I'm a fairly new donor here, and all I gotta say is the staff here is amazing. The moment you walk through those front doors the check in process is quick and minimal time to get checked and seated. In my experience the longest wait is when you're on the chair waiting to be hooked up to the machine, but that varies depending on the amount of people that are there. Ridiculous how I was "forgotten about" when I've been sitting in the donation bed waiting for AN HOUR to get sticked, while everyone else around me got here after I did and got poked before me, and the person who said they were going to stick me after the guy next to me, went to work on someone else, I've never had such a bad experience with this center until today, like come on what are the employees doing the floor it's ridiculous at times.

Consistently take ridiculously long to begin donation process. I am currently an hour and 20 minutes past my appointment time today and still haven't began the donation process and this frequently happens. They might as well make everything a walk in and forego the appoint process because there's no point. Certain members of staff are fantastic. Others have been very rude and cold to me. BioLife up the street is worse but if there was a better center on this side of town I would go to it.

If you are thinking of donating plasma at this center, do it! I am a first time donor so the process was a bit lengthy the staff were all very nice and patient. Rosario was the Registered nurse who checked my vitals and did my physical and did an amazing job doing so. She reassured me of everything and was very sweet.

I like going because of the efficiency but I had to wait to get my bleeding arm rewrapped for address checks, phone answering, and kiosk help. I'm grateful I felt ok because had I been light headed I would not have been helped timely I do not believe. Could be a one off occurrence but not a good visit today.

My boyfriend has gone there several times and 3 times they have caused bruising and swelling in his arm. Last time they mis poked him in his vein which again caused swelling and bruising and they took some blood, didn't give any saline back to him, and he left with 5 dollars. You don't get compensated for their mistakes. And most of the workers aren't experienced enough. Last time they even screwed up the finger poke. It's not worth going here.

First time experience donating at Grifols Biomat plasma center was great and I will be returning for future donations. The location was easy to find, it's clean, there's adequate seating inside, it wasn't overcrowded, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. First time physical and donation process went very smoothly and only took 2hours 45minutes. As of July 2022 Grifols is using an app to book appointments which worked out great for me. My overall experience donating plasma at Grifols Biomat Fresno has been great! From the front desk staff and the phlebotomists, I have not had a bad experience. My only suggestion is to improve what seems to be a disconnect with staff?s understanding of the promotions. I have experienced a few times where information about promotions was shared differently between front and back staff.

I live down the street from Octapharma, and the staff is what keeps me coming all this way! Carli, Jaime, Becca, Brittney, Nay, Josie, Victoria, Sabrina, Geoff, Nate, Joy, Nina, Nancy, Matt all work so hard, especially when the beds are full and everything is backed up. I went to one of their chapters to donate and get some extra money in these shard times. Because of lifelong childhood illness I have, they denied me the ability to donate plasma ?for my own safety?. I asked them if I can sign a liability waiver for their safety, and they denied that due to what the company?s policy makers decided. I have had a really good experience with Biomat. All the staff is great but my favorite phlebotomist is Sarah. Sarah has great customer service, she's funny, has a contagious laugh, answers any questions I might have and makes sure I'm comfortable before she hooks me up. Sarah makes my visit enjoyable after the wait to get to the back.

They made sure you were always aware of everything going on and how everything is being used. The process of donating was seamlessly easy with no complications. Gave them a chance on next visit an they treates me worse than the first time came in with appointment told the return takes 1 hour faster process im on hour 2 and havent even been hooked up to machine. Not even as busy as first day i dont recommend and i will call the number to leadership cause honestly i see they treat people bad if u ask questions. Was trying to do a different review but it wouldn't let me. I waited 1hr to be told I can't donate because after 4 months you're considered as a "new donor" (you don't get the new donor pay, sucks but thats understandable) and need to do the whole process over. When I called to schedule the appointment didn't tell me anything about starting over, neither did the automated text they sent out saying that I'm able to start donating or they could've told me when I was first told that I needed to wait 4 months b

I transferred to this location from Bakersfield which had TV,s for us to watch also did not take over 20 min once in the back to get hooked up to donate thought that is the whole purpose of appointments. Only reason giving 3 stars is because of the staff being so friendly other then that takes way to long to get stuff started even when lobby is not full. We make appointments so that it works around our schedule not have to be here for more then 1.5 hours all due to just getting set up.

Amazingly fast process in my opinion. Very welcoming staff and with a smile. Compared to other places I have donated at in the past, this places is light years better in all aspects! Providing something that could be used to save another's life is a good feeling! Along with that $100!

They are great here they just don't have the people to keep up. I gotbhere before 8:45. It's 10:33 and they still haven't plug me in. I spend over an hour and a half in the lobby. It's ridiculous. They have us spend all morning here.

My first visit took 4 hours n I have to see my Dr to be cleared made me real sad.maybe the Physical portion should be first instead at end.

This place is the worst place there worker leave you the worst bruise ever and then act rude when you go back I wouldn't waste my time there if there employees and management new how to draw blood the donors wouldn't bruise so badly and they way they act when. I have been going to Fresno Biomat USA for 7 months and they have all been so kind and helpful throughout the entire donation process. All of their employees are very professional and make sure you are okay and comfortable throughout the entire donation. A first time walk in was a great experience from all the staff Sunny was my nurse and was great as well as Ana she helped me during the process and definitely made me feel really comfortable during the whole process 10/10

I like the fact that I am helping others. It's a relaxing experience. Just make sure you bring a blanket of you're prone to get cold. The staff is very friendly and accommodating!

Be careful cuz they might might get in trouble if you're not one of their favorite people because their favorite people can do whatever they want take phone calls but the minute you try to message somebody just messing with somebody because you're disabled it's a problem so I guess you better make sure somebody's your favorite there

This place has gone downhill. You make a appointment they never keep it. You wait 30 to 60 mins just to get get to screening and another 30 to mins to get stuck. Most of the staff is friendly you do have occasional rude workers. All the good people that use to really take of the donor has left and your left with slow people who don't fully comprehend the job. There is lack of training they are under staff. They do have good compensation and bonuses but the wait is starting to not be worth it. What use to be

Even though the area isn't a high rated area, the staff is always friendly. And I have never had a problem with clients. It's always kept nice, the only problem I have is the fact that they are swamped and it's a constant hour plus behind schedule. But honestly love the place.

They schedule you at 1030 and make you wait until 1230 before you get your finger pricked then you can finally donate. It's best to check in then leave for an hour then come back other wise you will be going crazy and just draining your phones battery. Go to BioLife literally the fastest plasma place I've been to.

First and foremost if y?all would read their site it says first timers spend a long time there. Although I was unfortunate enough to not be able to donate that doesn't mean they are a bad place. The first initial appointment is going to take about 2-4hours which is unfortunate but once you're in the system you check in and it takes about 45-1hour. Incentives are great depending on certain donations and how many you have given the more advantages and incentives. Little perks are amazing. Very rude staff, takes all day..... the first day I went I arrived at 9:30am didn't finish until well after 7pm. The have no respect for religious beliefs and everything is explained as ?policy?. They make you feel like a drug addict waiting for a check instead of feeling respected because you are helping to save lives. I give another review and 4 stars because of the fact that every time I come to donate I have to listen to other people's loud and ridiculous conversation's on their phones or with other donors (or to talking to themselves). First off the whole donation process took five hours from 11 AM to 4 PM. This location is very unprofessional when you get to the area to take your weight and your initial blood, nothing is sterilized completely. It was my first time donating and I had a fantastic experience. I was nervous going in but Ana took great care of me and made sure everything went smoothly.

100% do not recommend. The website says the process takes 45min total. I followed everything and made an appt. They told me upon checking in after I drove all the way there that it's 2-4 hours but because they have no staff on hand its actually 4 hours. What they don't tell you at all is that you will end up wasting gas coming here. If they check your veins and they don't pop up like you're Arnold on steroids you won't even be seen. Not only was I not allowed to register after driving all the way down here

It's a good place to donate the staff on the floor are nice they have good attitudes but for going and donating plasma after almost two years they defer me I can't donate no more coz of my living dose not qualify for them I have to say they discrimination of where I live it is not to their satisfaction because It is a motel where the city is converteing into affordable housing but out 70% of the donors are homeless as for me I'm not homless I have a roof over my head so to the center thank you for your dis

I first tried going as a walk in for my first time. I'd suggest not doing and make an appointment instead. Drink plenty of fluids, eat a good meal. The first time you go takes 4-6 hours so I'd suggest also bringing a sandwich or healthy snacks. I didn't realize it would take this long and almost passed out while donating. But the staff gave me something to drink and eat. Overall, they were very nice and walked me through the whole process. I'll make it a habit to go twice a week.

Staff is great the place is really nice and clean and they are super fast. This place is very inconvenient you have to keep calling the place to get an appointment to walk in it's 2:34 and they close at 7:30 but i can't come in to donate. The other place you'll get seen eventually and also they have no app or nothing like the Clovis spot

quite literally the worst experience i have ever had going to a doctors office in my entire life. first off they do not warn you how long the first meeting is. they complain how bad they are busy. yet i was the only person there and there were all standing around talking aside from two african american woman who were AWESOME. having said that. everyone else is completely incompetent.
