This location just needs to get better completely From employees complaining about each other on the floor Excessive waiting I came in at 11 and it was empty I'm just leaving at 130. I only come here because it's close and supposed to be the better side of town better off going down town. What's the point of having 25 beds and only use 10 a new donation center looks better each time I come.

The people in the back taking your plasma are great! The people who work up front are HORRIBLE! They are more concerned with talking to each other and people who come in and just stand around rather than helping the actual people waiting. This process takes so much long because they are too busy socializing. They aren't friendly to the donors waiting in line. They seem more annoyed that they are having to do their job.

I always have a positive experience at this donation center. The staff is extremely polite and friendly. The donation process is significantly quicker with the new machines they installed. The line to donate is usually long, but I only come late in the evening, that's most likely the reason. 5 starts, will keep coming to donate!

I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE MORE STARS JUST FOR MR GREGORY HE WAS AN AWESOME GUY IN THE FRONT BUT LET ME JUST SAY THIS WHEN I GOT THERE ON 8/14/24 I was told that they stop accepting new donors after 3pm THATS WHAT MS CO CO SAID EVEN THOUGH I WAS SENT TO THIS LOCATION BY ASSEMBLY STREET LOCATION I CALLED BACK AND SPOKE WITH MS AMY SHE TOLD ME THAT WAS NOT TRUE TO COME BACK REMIND YOU I HAD DONE RAN OUT OF GAS YES GAS I KNOW LOL I Could go on and on because a lot took place and I will be doing a follow up these pic

I've been donating at this CSL Plasma facility for some time, and I can confidently say it's one of the best. The staff is always professional, but who really stands out to me is Dr. Gregory He goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly, always greeting donors with a smile and making sure any concerns are addressed immediately. His dedication to creating a welcoming and efficient environment truly shows, and it makes the entire donation process so much easier and comfortable. I highly recommen

Don't change their gloves and gives the pack that's suppose to be hanged up on the machine for free to the well known donors?? this plasma center is ghetto

Been donating for a while, always a positive experience. Employees are efficient and friendly. Kim is my favorite, always a smooth stick

I will not be back at this location. You have to stand for hours just to donate. Plenty of open beds but not enough staff. Staff moves slowly and alot seem upset because they are understaffed and overworked. I went to downtown location and was in and out within an hour less than actually. Staff was so much more happier as well. Here at the decker location, Even when it's not busy will take 3-4hours. This location needs better management and more staff. Should be at least 2 people sticking and taking vitals.

It takes the longest. Even after u r finish. I had to wait 25min. To get taken down.

Final Update: I started donating at Octapharma and the staff is nicer, the pay is more, benefits for donating is more, and it is much faster. Normal donation time not counting first time is about an hour to 1 1/2 hours max. Where CSL is about 2 to 2 1/2 minimum, closer to 4 hours normal. Update: As I was leaving an employee jumped the line and demanded to be stuck ahead of the 30ppl waiting for over 2 hours. He then got in an argument with the lady sticking people and cussed her out. A customer asked to sp

They got new machines but still have the same poor staff, most of the time they seem more like they are just there for fun, not work. Plenty of empty donation seats, but no one is being helped. It just seems to be getting worse every time I come here, slower and slower.

Honestly. I have never seen such unprofessional and reorganization in my whole life. Not mention me and everyone waiting well over 4 hrs to even get seen or checked in. I would never suggest this place to anyone donating. The safe are rude as hell. And prefer to sit on there phones and cut jokes then taking care of clients. Absolutely the worse donation center I have been too. I only have a once start bc I could give a 0.

Update 10/2024: Decker location has really plummeted. Everything just takes forever. It could be the influx of people, it could be the new staff, but something has caused this place to go downhill. Everything is a little bit worse than it was before. Changing stars to 2 to reflect the situation. Original post: If you donate in Columbia, I recommend the Decker location to the Assembly location all day, every day. Much more organized, particularly when you get hooked up. Assembly location is a nightmare whe

The management behind this location is truly the problem here. It's not as efficient as it could be. Why are so many people walking around not doing anything while having casual conversations? If you decide to donate here expect for the entire process to take 3hr.

Ms. Lykia is a pure joy to see every time I come in to donate. She makes my experience so much easier. She's a delight! Truly the greatest customer service I've ever had. I don't know everyones names. But she stands out in the intake part. Not taking away from the others. Ms. Stephanie is amazing! I love her conversations ! She's a true beacon of light! Ms. Fawn you are so sweet! Everyone plays a great part! Y?all are truly amazing! Wouldn't want to donate anywhere else! God bless y?all??

I hate this place. There are some workers that are so unprofessional and don't know what to do. One person telling me one thing and another one telling me to do something different. I've been here for 3 and a half ours and I anticipate being here for another 3. That's 6 hours of my free time, all because someone told me that as a lapsed donor, I just had to check in with the nurse, instead of telling me to start the new donor process all over again. It's frustrating. They all cuss and holler here and they g

They have 17 people in lobby and only 1vital check person. Line is empty to go to bed to give, others that I seen give vitals is sitting at vital check doing inventory last 20 minutes!! What is more important? Was told it would be OVER an hour just to get vitals. Wish Octopharma was open. The most I ever waited there was 10 minutes cause they usually have 4 people taking vitals.

My donor experience has steadily declined in the last few months. Specifically, the wait time for vitals check and donor floor lines are slow. I used to be able to come in, get vitals checked and move to the donor floor in around 30-45 mins. plus 30 mins donating. These days, the time has increased to a couple of hours for vitals check, waiting in donor line. The donor apps to check in do not function many da ys. Donor WiFi is spotty at best. The positive aspect involves the friendly staff. I'm almost alway

I got deferred from Nov to Feb. But it wasn't my fault but the said it was...lol

The staff on the floor where you actually donate are amazing. Vonne is my favorite. She is kind, gentle, and comforting. The facility has been overall very clean every time I visit. My only issue is that I was given a blue card to receive 10$ extra on my 3rd donation as a part of the new donor rewards. I recieved this card during my first donation ever on Friday August 11. I returned for my second donation on Sunday August 13. When I returned on Friday August 18 for my third donation, I brought my blue card

I've had nothing but a positive experience at the Decker location.shivonne, always makes me feel welcome.its nice to hear how are you, how's your day going.im not just a number at this location...to all the staff ,keep up the good work.thanks again

The communication here sucks. When ya ready to close early ya send a message out but nothing when it's late open or ya going to be closed ?

Been there enough times to not remember count. The only person who's made the experience worth it is a staff member named Lykia. And truth be told she was the first person to deal with me my first ever donation.

Everytime I come to donate the bathroom is filthy. Left over poop in the toilet, everything. This time no soap in the dispenser and no hand sanitizer. Very filthy for a place where you donate plasma. Very dissatisfied. But the money is good and your helping save lives although the place is filthy.

So we come in at 2pm as new donors just to be turned around and told to come back and try again no reason they just didn't feel like new donors I guess? Building was practically empty maybe remind your staff what they were hired to do, really sad with how much we supposedly need the plasma to be turned away. Called the one further away he was trying to talk us into not coming your staff literally don't want new donors it's ridiculous.

No one is cleaning the blood from the bathroom stalls and walls, where people put their hands and you can visibly see that no one is actually wiping the bathroom surfaces down. Toilet clean, sink clean but there's blood all on walls and doors. I'm looking at the same blood for over a month.I really enjoy coming to this facility and the staff is always been respectable and nice. For it to be a facility dealing with blood, cleaning should be at A or A+ rating. And like I said the workers there have been super n

Don't know how things are with other locations, but this one is absolutely awful. Never any staff up front, what staff are there are extremely rude, and they barely ever have more than one or two rows of beds open.

I'm so tired of this staff with their wishy washy personalities. One minute they're nice to you talking to you. Then the next their in a horrible mood and don't like you or the job. They certainly don't pay enough to tolerate their unprofessional attitudes. Talk about you right in front of your face. They judge. Too much saline can make a protein test negative. I'm just saying. I got deferred and don't know why. I called up to csl and Greg said we can't tell you over the phone why you are deferred. So that

Understaffed you can hear employees talk about management on the floor how he doesn't have his stuff together a lot of bad attitudes 7 open beds new machines still 3hr wait Arrived at 1pm and ain?t sit in a chair to donate until 335 and was only 3 ahead of me I live on NE Columbia side im going to just go Downtown Like any business they have there good and bad just recently it's been more bad come on guys you

I like coming to this center b/c the environment is very well kept. Like the Ole folks saying goes, cleanliness is next to Godliness ??. The staff and management are also nice and polite. This is definitely the best center I've been to hands down!!. It's five stars from me.

I donated for the first time today, and I have to admit, after reading through the reviews, I was a little nervous. That nervousness quickly dissipated, as my experience was absolutely great from start to finish! The wait wasn't bad, but as a first time donor, there are a few extra steps. I'd like to specifically mention Ms. Pat, who went above and beyond to make sure I had a seamless visit. She clearly laid out everything I needed to know, and answered all of my questions with ease. The entire staff was he

The staff are generally good people but I seem to get to spend extra time here because of faulty equipment and having to unnecessarily see the medical staff. It gets quite frustrating and really makes me think I should try another donation site or different company.

Everyone is so kind and professional. They really strive to ensure everyone has the best experience. I am partial to Stephanie, one of the intake nurses, because she's just so sweet, but you are in good hands with everyone on staff. They keep everything very sterile. Even though I am a bit nervous around needles, I have never felt unsafe or uneasy during my time here. The initial visit takes a little while, because there is a lot to go over to ensure your safety. Future visits are much shorter. If yo

Good clean place and incredible people working there. Unfortunately, it is extremely slow, and it takes at least 1.5 hours of waiting at a good time to even get into a chair.

Staff is rude and very unprofessional. Also had my brother waiting in the lobby for four whole hours just to tell him that he had to come back anouther day because it was too late to donate

If you decide to come to this place let Shamaria Hamilton stick you. She is Very professional with what she do. Her personality make you feel comfortable with her sticking you didn't feel a thing. Thank you so much Shamaria cause I was neverus for my first visit

Customer service skills is awful. Have a attitude whenever you call for questions. Put you on hold and never comes back to the phone and when u hang up its a busy signal for hours. Its just certain employees that act that way. Especially when u get in back to donate attitude from certain ones are extremely uncall for. Some of the staffs have good customer service skills.

UPDATE (1/24/22) - Over the past two months, I have walked in the door several times, only to find a) the line for intake/vitals spilling way out beyond the designated line (with one person... occasionally two... doing the vitals), and b) the line to go back to donate spilling way out into the hall. Not a good look, is it? And I know from prior experience that this is happening because the lines just aren't moving. So I guess you have to figure out what your own time is worth to you. How do you value your

This place used to be pretty consistent but now they are highly understaffed. Last 2 times I've came here I've had to wait 2 hrs before even getting the needle stuck in my arm. They take forever now and it's ridiculous. And while taking vitals the workers doing it purposely go slow because they're so understaffed. It is ridiculous.

First time donating and I was extremely nervous. My daughter asked me if I would go with her at least one time. I started the process a week ago and couldn't finish due to computer errors. I went back today and finished the process of being a first time donor. From the first time I arrived the week before and today, everyone very helpful with walking me through the the process. One of the nurses there was very sweet (can't remember her name) and I felt comfortable with her because of the way she treated me.

Went in as a first time donor and a man checked my veins and said they are to flat?? My veins are deep under the skin mind you this is 2 hours before they closed im sensing laziness because I have donated at another company and had no problems. Good luck getting repeat donors with this guy working he was supposed to be a supervisor

Miserable place to be in. Under staffed and all ways busy. Long wait times to register and to donate plasma. Very few people that work there seem happy and managers don't seem to be very helpful either.

The money was good in the beginning but they began to decrease funds on each donation thereafter (7-10 times). This is just a temporary fix if you need money. There are several donors but Management only opens 1 side of center. Several donor beds open but they will make people wait over 30 minutes. I just stop donating because they don't thank you and staff has attitudes. Unfriendly and unprofessional atmosphere.

stephanie , crystal , xavier are the best when it comes to a friendly environment and making you feel comfortable with needles being involved. You can tell the staff are very family/ friendly oriented.

The people who draw the blood are a bit careless with the sticking. Have large visible veins which make people think it's easy. But some of the staff is careless. First time they blew a vein after sticking in, not securing it then letting it wiggle. Next visit the other one blew after sticking too far causing a painful draw process and blew when readjusting. Wouldn't recommend this location.

Usually I have good experiences here. But today I was stuck in my arm, the lady pushed it so far into my arm, and still missed and attempted to wiggle the NEEDLE in my arm. That is not safe! And it was indeed very hurtful, them pulling it out and trying to push it back in. I will NOT be back. If people cannot professionally insert a needle then they need not to be sticking people. The office manager, Monique was very insensitive. I will be seeking to speak to someone higher up about my issue.

Wish I could give NO STAR... this place is a joke and a complete waste of your time. Been bounced around for THREE weeks and told so many different stories including literally hearing a staff member over the phone say let's not deal with it put it to the side for someone else to figure out, call this day or call that day, I guarantee the issue will be solved first thing in the morning and they are all a bunch of lies. It has been going on so long that I lost $300+ for the new donor rewards thing(ran out of

The nursing staff are very rude to you as if you are inconveniencing them to ask, or do anything. One in particular is very nasty when she speaks to you.

Chrystal stuck me very well and explained everything to me very professionally, while Stefani held my hand for comfort and made sure I was okay ! They the best !

I have donated plasma over 27 years. Coming to CSL Plasma Decker Blvd location was the best experience i ever experienced. 1st, walking through the front door they greeted with professionalism and smiling faces. 2nd, I was able to transition from entering to already being seen by the nurse for my physical. When I got to the back, by the way it was the fastest ever going to initial process, Tyechia, Christal, & Shavonne creates a professional, welcoming and loving environment that makes anyone feel at home.

I was placed in a chair and waited 20 mins without being help. Staff is not professional and unorganized!

As a long time Platinum donor, the staff at CSL are professional , friendly and take great pride in their work. Donors are treated with courtesy and respect. . They pay very close attention to keeping the stations sanitary. If you are thinking about becoming a plasma donor, CSL is the best center in the Columbia area. Be sure and ask about rewards given for frequent donations.

Very very slow. Staff that draws blood usually in a bad mood. They have 3 sections to draw blood but only use 1 which makes people weight at least an hour to even get seated to draw plasma. This place is a joke. Only time it's fast is when corporate is here.

EVERY donor should Google CSL NET WORTH the CEO makes over 11 million per year... Marinate on that, one funky person makes that while all of us donors receive peanuts for making this thing even happen.... I think a message to CSL is in order, think we need a to take a survey... Why I give 1 ? that is ridiculous and uncalled for not to spread the wealth... The staff are great people, the facility is clean, but my biggest gripe with donation centers is the corporate individuals who make the experience cheap,

I was deferred because their machine broke before it give me my blood back. I was told I should be fine to come back in two days and then after coming back they told me I was deferred for 3 months. Machine broke due to employee incompetence

This is not my normal donation center. This center is newer and cleaner. Maybe the other will be the same ( on assembly) when it reopens. The staff was very welcoming, and i like their line system better. Parking is also way more convenient as csl is about the only open business in a large storefront.

Hi my name is Clarence and I donate at CSL and I just wanted to give a shout out to miss Stephanie she is one of the best workers I seen so far very productive in her work a great worker!!!!!!????

Can't get out in less than two hours. I'm looking for a new center because this is ridiculous. I've given them a month to get their act together. Looking for a new center

I had been donating to them since the beginning of April. But the starting process was rough for me. I had just went to the international festival the week before and had gotten a henna tattoo, I wish I had a picture but for those who aren't aware of what henna is, its an indian powder that is reconstituded with water to make a paste and can be used to dye hair, face mask, or make temporilary tattoos. Nothing that would affect the blood stream in any way. I had went through the whole process of having my pi

Stefani and christal are great employees that work hard and make sure that we are all ok. I believe everyone should go here.

I'm absolutely horrified at the blatant rudeness of the staff. Astounded, actually. The phlebotomist asked how much I had to drink today and yesterday and I told her how many cups of fluid. She actually rolled her eyes and gave a co-worker a smirk and a stare. She promptly declared my veins too flat and walked off!!! I'm a medical assistant and I KNOW my veins aren't flat and that I drank plenty of fluids. I don't even want to give half a star, let alone one!

I love this place. It's like family. Steph, Ms. Kathy, Exavier, Myles, are amazing!!!!!!!! As long as they are there it's never no issues ??

1st time donating and was a little nervous but the whole staff made me feel welcome from beginning to end. Very clean facilities. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

great staff, they are very friendly and caring, the hours work very well with my work schedule, and i love all the perks and bonuses along with helping others hopefully feel better

Had a great experience, good conversation and a relaxing environment throughout my full donation a big shoutout to Ms.Ty, and Stephanie for making me feel at home

I had a great first time experience , every one was informative, special thanks to Ty & Stef for always being present and professional ! Always a pleasant visit

The scanner machine is always down and makes the process slower and it was all around slow.

Only good experience here just donated for the first time about a month ago and still coming back. Amazing people and very clean.

I had an issue at CSL today, things were handled fast and swiftly. Lykia and Jamell were awesome!

Great staff that made me feel welcome. Special thanks to Stephanie, Marley, Chevonne and Crystal for their help

This is the first time I have ever donated. The establishment is always clean and the staff is friendly. I will continue to return to this location.

Extremely slow. This used to be a very good place to come to for donating. I have never had to wait this long

I love this center. Shout out to all the techs there especially Shavonne, crystal,ms Cathy, Marley and Steph!!!

Horrible customer service , had me waiting 2 hours just to tell me I can't even donate pls get better staff they dusty and they pissed me off

Amazing ! everytime I go there , Shavonne & Stephanie is always nice & welcoming.

They are a little slow but great people and very peacefull not much noise i love that but some female workers are rude

The staff is very polite and there facilities are very clean and there is this one staff member by the name of stephanie she is oh so helpful and a helpful and supportive and polite person

I always have a great experience from staff here. I'm nervous about needles and they are always kind as well as patient with me.

Miss Vonee, Miss Stef and Christal are very helpful and friendly, they are tremendously nice and really help the donation process fly by

I was afraid at first, but Everyone treated me very kind showing me exactly what the process is. I really enjoyed my experience.

I'm always in and out. The employees are all nice and attentive. The building is always super clean.

All the staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The facility very clean and the set up is great.

Was told by management I can donate even though I'm living in a hotel just to come in and then telling me that I'm no longer about to donate because I'm in a hotel

Nice center, clean bathrooms. Staff us fun to get acquainted with. Best place to donate!

I really like this donation center, all the staff is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant too

Super understaffed! Some employees were talking to one another and laughing while there is a line of people trying to check in and donate!! They need help terribly bad!!

Very pleasant staff and clean facility. Never any problems when I come into the building...

As a new donor waited over an hour after watching videos..keep procrastinating on my new donor process, excuse after excuse. Company lacks professionalism and haste

I have been coming to this location for over a year have never had a rude or unprofessional staff member always a friendly face no matter the time of day that I have gone.

The Place Is Seriously Understaffed,The Workers That Do Show Up Are Always Talking And Laughing With One Another While We Wait. They Also It Had One phlebotomist When My Fiance Donated.

The staff is very friendly and kind but make sure to come about 3-4 hours early because they make sure to take there time and put you through a hassle of things to make sure you wait there a couple hours everytime

This site is much better than the one in downtown Columbia. The employees are friendly and the service is excellent!

They need help. They have one person doing vitals and she's super slow. Better off going to Immunotek.

Very nice staff Very friendly. Everything brand new. Nice facility. A pleasure to go to.

Just left. They are the most ignorant woman I've ever had to deal with. No one needs 50 dollars that bad

Great donation center. Very clean. Staff are professional and like a second family.
