Very frustrating plasma donation center, this is my first time ever going to donate plasma, this was a very terrible first experience, the African American women didn't know anything about The exact information that we needed in order to donate plasma. I am from Indiana and I was in Ohio because I moved here. I would not recommend going to this place to donate plasma.

I understand that CSL Plasma is short-staffed and that the process takes time, but wasting an hour and a half of my time due to their own mistake is completely unacceptable. I waited patiently in line, only to find out after all that time that they had forgotten to do a vein test on my previous visit. Because of their failure, I was put on a deferral list?something that could have been completely avoided if they had just done their job correctly the first time. The staff was very friendly and I was immediately attended to. I was very excited to start donation as a first-time donor. I went through the process. But since I take insulin, I was deferred. I did a ton of research before going and knew that insulin use does not disqualify from donation. So I wasted a ton of time and energy only for this company to deny. Don't even waste your time donating here. Very disappointed. CSL should just post this on their website and save us all a bunch of time.

Over an hour wait and it's not busy at all maybe 6 people came in during that hour. Staff is extremely slow and overpaid. They need better employees that don't goof off and actually work UPDATE: after almost 2 hours and still not being stuck I had to leave due to work. This place is a joke go to a decent center like Bio Blood Components on High Street. Better pay and faster service

I donate here regularly but they changed their system and its awful. I usually have 825ml taken but the last donation with the new system they took 961ml and gave me less money. As a return donor they gave me $12 less over 2 donations and took much more plasma. The cost of living goes up but their rates goes down. Lowest payout for a return donor in the region

Not sure why a lot of the women here have nasty ghetto attitudes but the other workers are very nice! I'm usually in and out within an hour or so. Darrell is awesome .

Cassandra really does an amazing job! I was a first time donor yesterday and she made me feel so safe and welcomed the whole time. Everyone there was very welcoming as well, Give that girl a raise because she really is amazing and good at what she does!

If I could give a lower rating I would . This location is garbage . The older woman in the front by the front desk with dreads is horrible , won't even make eye contact or let you know she'll be with you. Just as with any donation center you have your good and bad donations but I absolutely love this place!! When you start to become a regular donor here the staff start to really care about you and about your well-being. They will go above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of. If you are the type of person that wants a quiet place to donate though this would not be the place for you because they like to laugh and joke with you and I personally think it makes you feel you are not only a part of t

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The best staff of people that you will ever meet. Very friendly and professional. You can tell that they care about their job, and the clients they serve. Most days, near their 7 o'clock closing time can be slow, because there is only 1 person to do evaluations, but that is not a bad thing, at all. today as of 12/19/23 i came and got my plasma drawn as short staff they are atm they go as fast as they can and very caring! I'm all for having a fun work environment, but handle business first. Employees here are more interested in talking and discussing what they're having for lunch than actually handling business. Can't tell you how many times the employee walked out of the room to ask what everyone is doing for lunch rather than taking my information. I am currently donating twice a week. I was nervous at first, but the staff is great. Chad is so friendly and always does a great job answering all of my questions. That makes it feel less like a scary medical experience. Brian always gets the needle in on the first stick, which I appreciate. Thanks Chad, Brian, and other CSL staff!

I'm so glad that I'm able to donate again after I've had my shots! I used to donate plasma to a National Organization until I found out that this organization was reselling my donation. That used to take 3+ hours with needles in both arms! Then I found out that it was a multi million dollar business and they were charging others! Now it a needle in one arm and about 45 minutes once I'm hooked up, and I get a donation for my time! The place is clean, comfortable and I really enjoy seeing the people who work

Great staffing with people who really know what they are doing! I have had a few occasions where the needle hurt while coming out of my arm due to the person putting too much pressure, but it was nothing major! Everybody here moves fast and are nice every visit. Drink you some water and head over there to donate!

Wasted hours, money, gas, time, for them to tell me I couldn't donate due to not having a diagnosis (yet) for irregular menstural cycles. Even though all other qualifications were met. This should have been part of the initial questioning and information. I shouldn't have been kept here for 1.5hrs doing waivers and testing.Even after I recieve my 'acceptable' diagnosis I will NOT be returning to waste more of my time only to be sent away again.

Absolutely wonderful donation center. Quick and easy. Expect at least 3 hours on your first day as you have to watch videos and get a check up to make sure you're healthy to donate. I've seen people getting mad about the first day taking so long, but it's required to get you in the system and make sure you know everything you need to know. The staff is amazing. This place isn't all that great. They seem to be very understaffed and you can tell that the workers do not like their jobs. There have been about 3 times where I have donated and someone is talking bad about the job or complaining for their break. When at the vital checkpoint, the workers always leave off to do other things in the middle of getting your vitals. This is the only place I've ever gone to donate and honestly, I really like it. Not every member of staff is super friendly, but they are all very polite and courteous. This center is great! The initial visit does take a while since they have to do an orientation, probably 2 and a half hours, but the actual donation process takes 45 minutes tops. The staff are helpful and explain everything, the wait is short to get in, and the screenings and donation are super easy - the needle going in was the worst part. You dud ask me to leave even though my son offered to rephrase your questions in easy English for me. First time donating so I was really nervous but all the staff was super nice and patient. Although I did have a reaction because I didn't drink enough water before but that's not their fault. They were amazing and didn't seem annoyed at all. Highly recommend

I never have to wait. It the best one I been at. They are so so so nice and friendly. It is quick and easy. I read a book, talk to the other people or watch Netflix. It take me about 45 to hour and I'm done. The first time is a 2 hour process.

Horrible service, slow & loud employees. Just standing around and talk about their personal business and don't even acknowledge when you approach the desk. Even the so called Nurse was being loud. Employees gossiping about their co worker and the company....spilling the beans......Not to mention how long it takes to get set up and get stuck and get disconnected because of the careless employees. Always understaffed. The employees that work there are by thier own admission underpaid and overworked. You can tell that they hate being there. Clearly a management issue. I wouldn't be friendly to people if I hated my job so I can't blame them. Staff members have been rude to me in the past. From a management viewpoint this place is absolutely ridiculous. I hope they see this and get it together.

I hate the new machine the vibrating needle in my vein really hurts

There are only three people that work here and two are on lunch break at any given time. Without exaggeration this is the absolute slowest and most understaffed center I have ever been to. Five years of off and on donations across three states and seven centers, this is the ONLY CSL plasma center that has ever gotten me to dread donating. Not because of the needle sticks or the actual donation experience, but because I'm going to be waiting an hour before I even get to the finger stick. I shouldnt have to

I like this one place friendly staff pay is good just make sure your drink half your body weight in ounces of water. Or your donation won't be pleasant but other than that go here please. Fair honest easy way to earn 400$ a month

Staff here are great. All are friendly and very helpful. Confident in there jobs and they all seem to enjoy it. Makes the visit pleasant. After your initial visit of getting signed up; the process is fairly quick considering you're selling parts of your body. The facilities are always clean and makes the visit that much more comfortable. They also provide Wi-Fi so that's great. All in all great staff all around. If you're going to sell your Plasma if recommend CSL.

My friend went in to donate plasma and once he got back to the chair to donate they ended up having to stick the needle in the SAME vein 3 different times, he ended up spewing blood all over and they continued on the other 2 times after. They did not clean his arm up even after all of the blood. The doctor who had taken his plasma donation did not have any good bedside manners. The nurse screening was not changing her gloves properly either, she'd change between patients but not when touching other surfaces

I gave CSL Plasma 4 out of 5 stars because I had to wait a while to be processed as a new donor, once I got through that the donation process was smooth, I did have an issue with almost passing out but they were quick to my aid and stayed with me until I was better. Also the center its self was clean except the restrooms could use some attention.

Love all employees there, very nice people. But they need to limit the amount of people they accept or start differing more people or something, terrible that you have to spend 3-4 hours here, every time I come, and I spend most of my time waiting in line

This may not be the worst donation center in Columbus but it is competing for it. They have the worst most disrespectful employees I've ever meet! I was permanently deferred as a new donor for refuse to eat crackers, and drinking juice because I already eat!... aren't you supposed to eat and drink after they take the blood from you and pump you with saileen?

I've never had a bad experience here except occasional long wait times. Staff works really hard and everyone is always very nice and attentive. They get you in and out as quickly as they can and I appreciate how hard they all work.

I had a okay experience here till I donated last and I didn't get my return whatsoever. There was a air bubble in the pipe and they tried to get it out but couldn't. I was at the end of my cycle and all they had to say was here is a Gatorade and make sure you rest. They didn't have me go to the nurse afterwards or anything. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL

Place is usually clean and most staff are exceptional. Just seems every time went someone would intentionally try to hurt me hy blowing veins. I say this because i would be called back, no hello nothing ..sink a nwedlein one arm tape it down walk odf to get another staff member. Never wven say it would be a min or apologies nothing. But they professionally said and wouldn't let me because I was ?to unstable.? Even though I am seeing someone, for my mental health issues. Don't recommend going here.

The staff is great and has always been kind and professional but the company needs to fix the prepaid card problem. It's like they got together and said hey how can we take advantage of vulnerable people and make the most off them. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. I have mostly good experiences donating but my last one went poorly causing me to have a bad reaction and the staff was super caring and helped me return to normal!

By far the best CSL I've been to. Never a long wait and for some of the other reviewers that think the wait here is long please visit some of the other locations I have. Also very friendly staff there have only been a couple i didn't care for and they didn't seem to last long. All in all I definitely recommend this location.

They didn't have latex free bandages and just used tape on me. (They said "because corporate is cheap.") By the time I got home ten minutes later I was bleeding through the gauze and blood was seeping underneath the tape onto my arm. No extra money for students or veterans and only $22 for the second visit of the week. Lowest payout I've ever seen, but my first time donating in Ohio so maybe that's normal around here. Trash cans overflowing onto the floor. I was not impressed and will not be returning.

First time there was a pretty nerve wrecking experience. The staff waa very helpful. I didnt need to wait long on my first visit. Also i didnt know you got paid to donate. Thats awesome. Great service and great staff

Do not donate here. They will find ANY reason to not let you donate. I had a few hives on my arms due to having sensitive skin and hey deferred me. Complete waste of my time. Do yourself an favor and don't waste yours.

The last two times i came here, some guy blew veins in both of my arms. They Didn't mention it at all, Said I could come back in 4 days. On the same day my wife wasn't able to get her return of cells, usually this results in a deferral of a couple weeks with most places because your body has to replenish those cells, which takes time. They told her to come back in 4 days as well. DONT RISK YOUR HEALTH HERE

I've donated before at the university location, compared to them this one is cleaner but staff wise the main nurses they have are a bit rude and pushy, I personally felt picked out bc everytime I went to donate there would be ?something wrong with my file? or ?they didn't save your tattoo updates? or my favorite one, ?you can't donate bc you have tiny pinhole marks on your arm? as if they weren't the ones that put them there

Terrible staff communication, very rude and disrespectfull staff.They seem more interested in have conversations among themselves then helping the donors.

If your in a hurry in the morning don't come to this center. Fifteen people in line to be screened & there was only one screener available , had to wait over an hour to be screened. Whoever does the schedule should be fired.

One of the best Plasma centers in the Columbus area. Very clean. Employees are nice and professional. Also the crowd of people who donate there is kept at a modest number.

It's a very clean environment, I no longer will come back this center, the staff us very rude and I called about information for a returning donor an after 1 question was answered the girl hung up on me and the the other lady was very rude as well. I'm going to try some where else and I'm not happy with this CSL

I'm in the higher money pay for 45 days yet I keep getting deferrals conveniently now I just got another week for blood work being .2 low on protein which I've never had...convenient

Very clean very nice people. First time the wait was long most employees were wonderful but as in any business there are a couple that were not so nice.
