I've been coming to grifols for a years now and have never had any issues. Sure sometimes it gets busy or short staffed, but the staff tries very hard to manage everything and everyone as best as they can. Some of management is see don't get involved much and keep to themselves in the office. If you didn't have us donors where would you all be? Jeri is always in high spirits no matter how busy she may be. Keep up the good work!

I have been donating here for 2+ years, at this time they have the best team they've had so far. I have positive encounters with every employee, from the phlebotomist to the management staff. Love being able to set my appointments because it makes for a shorter visit

Very inviting and welcoming space, after the initial donation and physical the process from checking to leaving only takes about an hour. The staff are all pleasant and helpful, and I was particularly impressed by Sabrina, who assisted with my donation today.

They are horrible. The female staff members are so stuck up and have a horrible attitude every single time I visit, they are are lazy. They refuse to look for deep veins, they rather turn you away. I go to CSL and bio life and they find my veins no issue. Here? They can't find anything if it's no easy for them. They are lazy and bare minimum phlebotomist, please put them through real training classes on how to stick. I fear your staff is lazy, unmotivated, and rude.

Donated not to long ago, and the staff at the time was very courteous and knew their job very well. Bethany stuck me and no complications and was painless, and the disconnect from Kallie was quick and was on my way within a hour and half. Overall the staff that night was on point. Will donate there again.

Every donation is a blast. It feels good to be a lifeline for those needing my plasma and the kickback helps pay for my motorcycle habit. Sabrina is the BEST at providing a smooth experience and making it fun, too!

I've been practicing intermittent fasting, specifically 24-hour fasts, for the past five years. I don't eat processed foods, and I've found that it works well for me. Today, I tried donating, but they tried to force me to eat processed food, supposedly because someone else had an allergic reaction. It's frustrating because everyone?s body is different. If I've been doing this for years, have no issues, and my health markers like protein, hematocrit, and blood pressure are all perfect, why should I be pushed

Stay away from this location like the plague. They will find any excuse they can not to pay you AFTER you donate. Had a friend donate today and because they made him drink a bunch of fluids on site he had to pee. Staff member said they'd have to deduct $5 because they had to pause midway to let him pee but no they clarified AFTER collecting his entire donation they were actually only going to pay him $5 period. There is no employees!! You have to wait more than 25 minutes so that the few people who work here can put the hoses and everything they need, without mentioning the 30 minutes you have to wait for them to call you after you have registered, it is not fair that you take around 2:30 hours in a donation because there is no one to attend! I always come here and I've NEVER had a problem. Never ever. All the staff are welcoming. Kind and compassionate. They also are well trained and get the job done with no issue! With that being said I went in today and everything was good until Mitch on of the techs went to put the needle in my arm and was careless, he missed my vein and proceeded to wiggle the needle in my arm for a few minutes before I told him I'd rather have someone else do it. Someone else came to fix his mistake but it was too late. He

How people like it at this location I was in over the weekend and the managers are so terrible making lies, alot of the time they make unskilled new workers do arm checks and because of one person's call not 2 or more. The people here are friendly, organized, and very knowledgeable about the donation process! They put this newb at ease from the moment I walked in the door for my very first plasma donation! They greeted me with a smile and kept me informed through the whole process, which did not take nearly as long as I had anticipated- score? Grifols has gotten worse sadly. Not in terms of the facility, really - though in terms of hours, yes. But the final nail in the coffin is that they completely got rid of their returning new donors incentives and still have predatory pentalties every time you use their card, so I'll probably never be back to this center. It's a shame, because the center is otherwise pretty solid, with helpful staff. Corporate greed strikes again.

In my opinion, most people who feel the need to leave a review for a place like this are often the ones who have an issue. I never had an outstanding issue and I donated 604 times at this center. Everyone was polite, courteous, professional and good at their job. Often, I showed up at around 10:30am and I got out at 11:45 at the latest. My donations took around 35 minutes so that means I only spent around 30-40 minutes getting processed. If that's REALLY that slow that people need to complain, maybe they sh

They're pretty quick getting you in and out. The staff are all very nice as well. I've never had an issue with anyone having a bad attitude and I definitely look forward to coming back every time I've donated.

They have great staff and very knowledgeable. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because they aren't quite equipped to handle large volumes of people in a short amount of time, in regards to only having 8 medical history rooms, but only 3 in use during a large rush. That day, I ended up being there for 4.5 hours that day due to short staffed.

The donation process goes quick if you are hydrated but the wait time is extremely excessive if you have things to do this is not the center for you. The wait time is longer than your donation even if you come in early expect a 3-4 hour wait, with low compensation payouts it is not worth waiting around here.

I tried to donate there a while back, sat there for hours trying to get thru the screening process, had to come back and start all over the next day. Once again drug it out so long i finally left. I thought maybe it was because they were still being very cautious about covid and was gonna try donating there again but after reaaeading all the negative reviews about how long they take and how bad the staff is, I am hesitant to even go now. I used to donate here all the time for several years my husband too. This month the center is going to put out a bonus where you are required to donate 8x between this date and this date for an extra $100. Well because the center wants to close for unforeseen circumstances on my donating day I'm going to miss out on said bonus and management isn't going to grant it. It's not my fault y?all were closed why do I have to miss out on the bonus cuz you can't hire people or keep employees. I won't be coming here

Would rate this place 0 stars but you need atleast one to review. Minimal staff leads to donors waiting hours to be sat let alone be hooked up. With competing centers in the area and their company making cold calls to have donors come back you'd think they would be better. Most staff would rather chat about pizza than do their jobs. Will be looking into going to another center in the future.

Grifols Biomat is by far the best donating place ever! I have been donating here for well over two years. I have gotten to know the staff very well and they all are wonderful to me. I am in and out in no time. It takes me only 26 minutes to donate and I have figured out the best times to come when it's not so busy. I am in and out in about 45 or even less sometimes. Use to be fast and efficient but now they have seriously declined in performance and they take forever to hook and unhook you even though they have plenty of workers they just walk around and watch. They say average time spent is 1hr at the most they need to change that to 2 1/2 hrs for their average time. If your In a hurry go to a different plasma center.

However, I had a good stretch of donating and not having issues in the beginning weeks, but then it got consistently bad for multiple weeks. DON'T USE THIS DONATION CENTER!!! GO TO OCTAPHARMA! The first time I donated to this center the employee who was sticking me took 20 minutes to do so and almost forgot to take my blood sample first because they were flirting with the guy sitting next to me. After that visit I was turned down 2 days later for my second donation because they had bruised me so badly. I couldn't return for my second donation for over a week. The following donations resulted in similar excessive bruising. The second to last time

This place is awesome. Not only are they a friendly environment. But the donation just paid. Not only does it help save lives. The pay I receive, helps me donate some money to a good cause; without direct out-of-pocket expense. I would highly recommend this place.

You thank us donors all the time but what never happens is thanking us with better pay outs and this month what do we get even less pay WOW REALLY!!! Went in and it's 2pm and they don't close until 6pm. The lady in the front told me first come first serve bc i said I'd like to become a new donor. She said they had 4 people infront of me and basically wont be-able to get to me. 4 people wow so busy. The way she looked at me and spoke to me just threw me off from going there again

Went in to donate to make it by between paydays and was told that due to short staff I could wait 3 hours to see if a spot opened up and if a spot didn't open up, I would have to come back in the morning. I had to go to Des Moines to house sit for a friend so that was not an option. I called the Des Moines location to donate. They told me that because I'm out of the service area they couldn't help me. Must not be needing donations too badly if they are turning people away! Ridiculous!!

I think there discriminating i went there 2weeks in a row and was turned away.. Saying they are short staffed because people called out.. They werent busy at all there was only 3 people waiting in the lobby.. And the workers werent doing anything either just standing there talking...

I have been donating twice a week for several months. Everyone here has been amazing with the exception of 1 staff member who was very unprofessional with an incident. The rest of the staff has gone above and beyond and take excellent care of the donors.

The most incompetent center I have ever been to. I was a returning donor and no one knew the transfer process. Then after I got deferred they said I wouldn't have to do everything over again, but then I came in and they said I did. Very poorly trained staff out here. Definitely won't be donating because of their unprofessionalism.

This center used to be fast but they have definitely gone down hill. 3 hours to donate The donation center manager talked to me and apologized for the wait. I really appreciate it because it can be frustrating sometimes when you feel like your not heard. Thank you so much.

I have only been there three times in a year now. Then today they decided I need a doctor's note for a scar and 1 cm bruise that I have had since I was six! They always struggle to find a vein. Rebekah was not friendly and this was like the last straw. I can feed the homeless and get more personal pleasure from helping them because at least they are grateful.

Usually I don't mind the long wait, but to have the 4 people that came in behind me stuck and almost out the door before I'm stuck bothers me. I shouldn't be the last one out the door when I wasn't the last person sat to be stuck, then not even an apology after it being bought to your attention is beyond me, gotta do better.

They will not discuss your own personal information with you....this policy is absolutely ridiculous. I'm a very healthy 40 year old male. I enjoyed donating for the short time I was able to. This place is amazing. The staff are the friendliest and most accommodating bunch I have met yet. Their professionalism is exceptional. The facility itself from the parking lot to the bathrooms are very clean. They are very organized which produce minimal waiting times. Called in for information to donate as a new donor and got told to come in at a certain time. Got there at the time they informed me to show up and got told they were not taking anymore new donors. I explained to them I had spoken with someone on the phone and they had told me to show up at that time and they were rude about me explaining to them my situation. I now wasted my time and gas. I'm very disappointed on how things were handled and would not recommend this place to anyone.

As someone who has gone to the few plasma donation centers in town Biomat is easily the best place. Staff is very knowledgeable, always are in a great mood, and willing to answer any questions you have. Rather than having to stand in line forever before they call you to check your blood pressure, protein levels , etc. You can actually sit down, watch a movie, and then get called in. They have the most comfortable chairs and always have the best movies playing. I always take my tablet in expecting to watch N

Terrible don't go here unless you want to wait 2 hours plus to donate and I'm not just talking bout new donors even return donors! Called before I came spoke with manager Lisa she stated they were not busy got to the center in under 2mins of the call upon arrival there were 11 ppl sitting in the waiting room waiting to be screened also it is not safe to have your donors there for 3 hours without eating before donating so unprofessional and against policy

They would benefit from more staff. Wait times are usually pretty long. Compared to octapharma on Broadway this place is MUCH better. The employees are Octa are horrible, and are all very mean. One even cussed at me before. I have liked everyone I have dealt with from Grifols. I come very regularly, and the compensation is better than Octa as well. They play movies as well to keep you occupied

When I was donating the place was very clean. It was reasonably quick to get onto the donation table, and after that it's up to you! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, I never had anyone miss a vein.

I love donating here the ppl are always friendly! Sometimes the process can be a lil slow but i rather donate here than anywhere else. Plus octopharma screwed me over saying i had a new piercing just because i had finally decided to wear mine -_- but im thankful to biomat for giving me the chance to donate with them instead.

Come here every week for extra cash but I love coming to the nice atmosphere and the nice staff that takes care of me every time. Grifols is a great place to go If you need that extra cash for groceries every week!

I usually donate here all the time and don't have many issues but I've been trying to donate for almost a whole month and every time I go they turn me away because I'm due for a physical and they don't have enough staff or it's ?too close to close? when it's literally two or three hours before they close I've missed bonuses and now I probably won't be able to participate in the new deal that's going on if you donate 8x you get a $100 bonus but I can't even get in to donate once they keep telling me come tom

Terrible experience today became a new donor today they had a lady in training doin my intake let's just say it they ?2 hours? but today it took 3 hour and I didn't even get to finish donating. When I got back to the back the lady messed up and because of here mess up I can't donate for 8 weeks. I am a perfectly health lady. A certified nurses aide in fact. I went through the whole process a new donner goes through only to be turned away. You know why I was turned away after passing and filling out everything? Because sitting in the lobby I was bored and slured a couple of words nervously talking to the nuseing attendant. Maybe before trying this place try the other one down the road on Broadway.

I've been to all Plasma centers in Omaha NE & Iowa-Council Bluffs. Biomat USA is by far the most relaxing experience.There strict about keeping you safe, cant be mad at that actually got to love it. They have seating through out the process. First time donor process is fast. Your compensation for your time is grate as well. I'm still to this day to see a slow processing day donating plasma at Biomat USA!!

I drive further to go to Grifols because I know the environment is always clean, the staff are friendly and everyone gets paid equally with various bonuses; all for donating plasma to save lives. I also enjoying picking on Jeremiah and you should too, he deserves it!

This is by far the worst and most inexperienced plasma center I've been to not only are they slow but it seems like no matter what you will be in the center for 4 hours and when they could not locate my vein and by the way fishing inside my arm trying to tear up my vein and they think I'm going to let them tear my other arm up not today I should of gotten my full $145 intraday I get 5 for their inexperience 0/2 with this place will not be returning ever again this place is dangerous and could severely hurt

Grifols was the first place I donated plazma. At first I was skeptical but the friendly and attentive staff assured me that there was nothing at all to be worried about. The whole process is very sanitary and they will even show you everything about the machine that helps them collect plasma for the people in need of medicine you help create.

On Friday 7/3/20, returning for my second donation of plasma for the week, I recieved a "bad stick" meaning the phlebotomist did not place the needle correctly into my vein, therefore, causing a bruise that would measure over 2 inches. Today I return for my first donation of the week because my donation days are Tuesdays and Fridays and I learn that due to the size of the bruise I will need to wait until the doctor is in, which is only Mondays and that I lose both donations for the week which results in me

I donated at Octapharma (42nd and Center and Broadway) for a couple of years until 2 months ago when I switched over to Grifols and I couldn't be happier. Grifols is much more effecient, pleasant, cleaner, and overall better in my opinion. I'm glad I made the switch.

I donated at Octapharm for over a year. I didn't realize how bad it was until I went to Grifols. Grifols cares a lot more about their donors. The wait time is extremely less than Octapharm. There is no standing in line. You get to sit and watch TV until its your turn. Their screening process is a lot more in depth. They really care about the health of their donors. So, they may be a down fall for some. But, I think its a good thing.

I have to write this as much as it pains me after being a donor here for so long! I am a welder/millwright by trade and certainly don't do this for the money. But with my career come certain complications to donating. I get weld spatter burns on my arms occasionally and know that I can't donate. However, Thursday I came in with questionable burns and they said they could hit a vein on the side of my arm. All good. We'll, not quite. The phlembotomist missed. At that time they decided that they could use the
