There's a difference from doing your due diligence vs just being out right lazy. And this location today? Was pure laziness. I went in to donate and was told because I only had ?one good vein? they denied me. No medical checks in the office or anything. Just right over the counter. I was respectful and left but I couldn't get past it. I gave the customer service line and was told that they usually will still do a donation.. I've donated for over 10 years on and off and at this location but never have went t
I've been coming here for along time now and the staff know u by name when u are a regular. Brittany and all the staff are really great. Yes sometimes you have too wait but these staff are doing there job and going as fast as they can. Just be patient and u will get through the process as fast as the staff can get you through well being safe. Much appreciated
My wife introduced me to this location and I've been donating here ever since. The staff has been wonderful to me, most especially Mandi and Nikki for being so kind and welcoming. They even got our newborn son a onesie that says "Future Plasma Donor." I love donating here and recommend this location to all my friends and family!
I enjoy coming in and talking with the staff. They are awesome and take good care of us. They are very helpful. Sara is always a joy . She is very welcoming and professional. Definitely makes the donating process fun!
Been coming to this location for awhile now and I always have a great experience. First appointment is always the longest but after that it's a breeze. I can be in and out in about 1 hour/1 hour 10 minutes. The staff are always so nice even when I get there at 730am!
Great donation center. All the staff are outgoing, inviting, and professional. The center is super clean and the pay is top tier especially for new doners, something like $100 for the first visit and $125 for the next 5 donations. Wish I had some kind of constructive criticism but I really don't it was just that smooth. Marlen was awesome, one of the least painful sticks I've ever had while donating 10/10 nicely done thanks for making it a smooth and pain free process ??.
This location is by far the best location I have been to! Mandi, Sid, and Nate always welcome me with a smile and keep the environment clean and friendly. I don't go to any other places even if they pay more because of how great my experience is here. I only trust this location!
These guys always make sure to do their job and take very good care of donors. Karla did a wonderful job sticking me in the arm! The people here not only have amazing people skills, but do their jobs properly with care and effort. Thanks grifols!
The staff here are so wonderful it makes it an easy decision to keep going back. My first donation took a long time, but after that, it has been very consistent. I use the app so I get to skip the kiosks. Recommend 100%.
Donations are quick and easy. Everyone is professional but some are slightly better than others. Sid always greats with a smile and her pokes are nearly pain free.
They said my social security card was too dirty. Even though you can clearly read it and I had it with me, my id and like 5 forms of proof of address. I don't think they realize it took me an hour bus ride to get here and my last 5 bucks. Now I gotta go to another donation place even though I had an appointment and called in today.
They are so great! I love donating here. I get a little pocket change and I get to help someone else in return~ The staff are so nice and the facility is nice! Note your first visit will be the longest, but it doesn't take more than an hour and a half to be done and out the door every visit after. You are allowed 2 donations per week. Your first visit will be a physical and then each visit you answer questions and get a few things checked, like blood, weight etc. I would recommend this place hands down!
I had a great experience last time I came into give plasma! Lupita was very helpful with a great attitude and makes it a pleasant time coming into donate!
Sat for 15 minutes past my appointment time before being seen. Then the tech couldn't set the machine properly, so my donation took 2 hours. Finally someone realized how slow it was and switched arms. Still 2.5 hours long, won't be back.
Great staff they take good care of you very polite want to give Lisa a shout out great job
Marlen at the south Sheridan grifols location is awesome....the rest of the staff is alright...but everyone one of visits to this location is a fast process
Great place and very friendly staff. Been donating twice a week for a while now. Great for a little extra cash
This place is a complete joke! They had me sit there for 3 hours, literally get back to the chair and they tell me they're too busy and they are just gonna take a blood sample and I get a whole $30 whopping dollars for sitting there for 3 hours! Not only that but the compensation for your "life saving plasma" is hilarious. While they shaft you on the compensation they turn around and sell it for hundreds probably thousands of dollars. The CEO's doesn't care about saving lives haven't we learned that already
This has been one of the best donation places I have ever been literally every single person I have met from the time I started donating till now has Has been so amazingly, helpful and sweet. I honestly love this place. I would not wanna go anywhere else. I've been to a couple other places and not everyone was nice like how they are here and they're quick you schedule your appointment you get in you get out you're not waiting for hours. They make the process for donating very smooth and they are very organi
Great staff and great experiences. Everything is efficient and the staff is super friendly. One of the fastest places to donate plasma in the metro area.
Last week I came in as a new doner. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I've been to other places, and it usually takes quite a bit of time to get through the new donor process but here it I was getting through it quite quickly. However, when it came time to take my temperature, this is the first facility I've been to that is using hand held thermometers that go across your forehead. The lady took my temperature and told me I had 100.8 temperature. I knew there was no way that was correct. However, b
Kennedy Was great it was my second donation I felt welcome and definitely would continue to come back.
Staff is great, they move quickly. Their app and express check in is so very helpful.
Had an awesome quick session donating and Brittany made the experience nice and easy. recommend donating here!
Sid is my favorite person, she very sweet and outgoing and always smiling.
Good crew very much treated like family shout-out to Josh!!
For 9 years so to speak I was donating plasma with them, and only on one occasion did I stop donating for more than a year due to the fact that my protein was not good, finally in 2016 I returned as a new donor and apparently for approximately 5 I was donating with them for years, at the end of 2021 unfortunately I was a victim of cobit 19, and obviously you can't donate for two months. Finally, when I recovered, I went to donate and in the first donation everything was fine. When I was going to donate the
Wonderful staff. Made me feel comfortable the entire time.
I can't say enough about how good this place is. I've been going to CSL for years and kind of assumed that's how all donation centers were, but Grifols just blew me away. Friendly people, places to sit when waiting, quick and efficient service. I was a new donor there and the whole process took less than two hours. It was awesome.
I have been donating for 7 years at various places. This is by far my favorite place. All the employees are extremely nice and all donors are nice too. I am in and out within an hour. The new donor bonus was very nice and it levels out to $120 a week. Not too bad! Highly recommend this place!
Sarah,Zack,Jess and everyone there are nice overall better donation Center compaired to other competitors
Lisa Medina is a very good worker and always recommend her!
This is the nicest plasma center I've ever been to. They don't pay you based on your weight! The staff is insanely nice too! You can tell how much people like Samantha and Kris really care. They always talk to me throughout my donation and answer my millions of questions. Sam and Kris put a lot into their work and I hope they get recognized for it!
Josh is awesome. Been coming here for years.
I have had great experiences here since I started coming 10 months ago. I've been to a couple plasma centers and this is absolutely the best one! The staff is amazing, so kind and friendly. They are always moving quickly and taking care of those who come through the door. A very clean facility. I will continue to come here and refer them to anyone!
Extremely friendly staff. This was my first time donating, so I was a bit nervous. From the front desk, to the phlebotomist in the back, everyone in there was helpful and kind. They made sure my whole experience pleasant. I will gladly return.
Everyone here is amazing! The veteran employees and the beginners alike. All are well trained and very informative so well that it's fairly difficult to distinguish between the old and new employees. Miss Nikki is AWESOME and so is Jen (both of them)! I've donated hear for years then left for some time but because this center is so well run, I've found myself back here donating with no intent to leave them anytime soon! ??????
I donated plasma on Saturday this week for $80. I kept checking the balance on my card waiting for the money to be deposited, and after two hours it wasn't there. I thought maybe there's a problem with the system or it is still pending. I tried calling the facility, and they were closed. Now today the balance is still not on there. They are closed today as well. My bank account had to go negative to get gas to go to work, and I only have four diapers left for my child. That $80 was supposed to support me an
Great place of business. All the staff I've met are super friendly and patient. It's a great way to serve your community and get a little something back in return. Overall it'll take I'd say based on my experiences around 1 hour and a half depending on how long it takes the individual to donate. I've been frequenting this establishment for some time and have had no bad interactions. Highly recommend for anyone who's got a little free time and wants to serve the community. 5/5 for sure.
Great staff. The experience was nice!
The center is clean and organized! Staff are friendly.
I've been donating at the center for 6yrs and I will continue to donate here. The staff is amazing and I've only had one problem the whole 6yrs. I've always felt safe with who ever Is doing my needle stick. Always in and out. As long as you take care of yourself, drink lots of water and eat a healthy meal the night before and I promise no problems.
I've been going here for 5 yrs and it has always been very positive experience for me. . All of the technicians are respectful to me.. Since I'm 64 yrs old ???? Thank you everybody ????????
Came here and it was very pleasant!! The ladies here are very nice and friendly. Just made me feel comfortable especially when I hate donating. Quick and easy!! Lol overall I pick the wrong location at first but decided to come back here. Thanks for making the experience a lot more easy then other places.
I had an amazing experience here. As a new donor, it takes awhile which I understand as well as the staff being incredibly short during this time. I cruised through the process. Jess (medical staff) is amazing and is able to keep such a positive attitude even when things seem stressful. I enjoy donating to help others and being reimbursed is a great incentive. This place certainly made up for my first experience of donating.
Awesome staff and even better pay outs then most..love it here
Most of the staff here is amazing. I feel like I've worked with nearly everyone on the floor and they all offer something to make your visit pleasant. There is one power tripping nurse that just does things her way instead of the right way. I also had to speak to one manager on a Saturday afternoon just before close who was ridiculously rude. Despite this one incident with this one b!tch, everyone else here is just great and I won't let her tarnish the pleasant professionalism of all the other employees. I
Was such a great experience. The staff members are always in high spirits make your time worth while. Always feel welcome. Thanks Liz M. She has amazing people skills and is very good at her job. Always makes you feel comfortable.
I love Talecris Sheridan! I used to go to Biolife but made the switch. It's crazy how everyone here is so genuinely nice. The experience here makes me comfortable and I already have met most the techs. Two me there's a huge difference in buddy the way you're treated. Thank you!
Avoid the old sandy blonde haired woman in the back. She was so busy trying to act like she was cool that she blew out my vein. I had a 4 inch bruise. Was told I couldn't donate again until it heals. Now it has healed and I still can't book an appointment on the app and no one Is answering the phones.
Had a really good experience here. The staff was friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable donating for the first time ever. The woman who did my physical was very nice. It does take 3 hours your first time, but I was given fair warning that that would be the case, and there was very little sitting and waiting. Even though it was crowded I got in and started with the process right away. Would recommend this location, and will be back for more donations.
This place is so amazing! The staff is so friendly and welcoming make me feel at home hehe ?? I love coming here! They always take care of me here! 10/10 recommend coming and checking it out
I have been donating for going on two years and I love Jen Delaney Kris Dawn and Gail!!!! They are so kind helpful and go above and beyond!!! There are others as well just don't know there names but I can safely say you won't need sorry if you take the time to get to know them!!! Just like any where they are over worked and respond to your attitude so if your rude you can't expect them to be overly nice. They are people too they have bad days maybe you should be the exception and bless them!!! Love these pe
This place is amazing. They all make me feel like a VIP when I come in. They know my name and are genuinely great people. People who are saying negative things are people who are not following the basic rules of the establishment. Or people are just coming in with a bad attitude. Which causes issues. I go every single week. Twice a week and I see for myself some of the rudest people come in there. The donors are a problem at times...not the staff. Do what you are told and fix your attitude and all will be
I will not lie. I was pretty nervous when I came in here the first time or two. Though, with the care and professionalism of staff like Liz, I felt very comfortable and lost all concern quickly. I am truly thankful for the good experiences that people like Liz ha offered me and because of staff like Liz, I will continue to come to this location only. Thank you Liz and all the great staff here.
I've been donating plasma now for 3 months! I'm very happy going to this location! The workers are so kind and gentle! If I had a problem they are right there to resolve it! I'm hoping the bonuses go a little higher for the holidays? Anyway 5 stars is well deserved to most all of the workers! Thank you for your kind words and great care!
Was treated extremely rudely by staff when asking to end my donation early. I was guilty into staying by two staff members who claimed by not finishing my donation I would not be paid the posted amount. Would very much like to speak with management in person about this situation as I don't appreciate being harassed by staff when I have a giant needle in my arm.
it was my first time donating and sarah was super nice she gave me a cliff bar and Powerade she made me feel safe and comfortable , will be donating again
I have been going to Talecris Lakewood for years and love my interactions with staff. They have some folks that have been there forever and do a great job training the new ones. Through all of the changes they remain professional, even when donors do not. I appreciate all of the incentives provided for faithful donors and that these plasma donations are providing life savings medications. Thanks for all your services to this community!
I've donated before through another company in another state and this was a much better experience. Every staff member was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help me, and although first time donor process does take some time they all made it as painless as possible. I will come back here again. Very clean facility. One person that did my initial check in was Jozette, very helpful, kind and professional. I want to thank all the staff for giving this an entirely different view and experience than
Probably one of the most comfortable places to be the staff made me feel comfortable for my first time, I will continue to go for now on, staff was amazing movies good people around
I have been going here almost 2 months. I have never seen a cleaner medical facility in my life! The people are all nice but I especially like Nikki. She always greets me by name when I come through the door if she's in the front. Regardless, I always get a cheerful hello from her no matter where we meet. Rock on TPR!
The process is quick and easy. Everyone was very friendly and the overall experience is rewarding. Kris, brittani and the rest of the staff were funny and made the visit go by fast
Friendly & knowledgeable phlebotomists. Especially Josh.
This place is really nice and the staff is lovely, but I wish the rules were more standardized. Different employees have different rules about temperatures and whether or not you can retake them. It gets really confusing when you hear a different thing every time. That's the only reason for 3 stars instead of 5
?????????? Employees are rude here. I had questions and the woman in front with the glasses was short with me, just kept repeating the same answer when I had a follow up question. Not exactly how you want to be treated if your are a new donor and are nervous about the process. Do yourself a favor and go to the other location off colfax and carr. Nicer staff, cleaner place that actually make you feel like your a person not just another inconvenience.
I am impressed with how kind staff members are. They give knowledge of what is necessary to be able to donate and why a person may not be able to donate. People should understand that there is the another side to giving. The receiving part is so important too. It's not just about getting money for the donation. It's not all about the giver and the money. Lighten up to those who have bad additude toward the staff.
After sitting in the waiting room for approximately 30 minutes And ignored I left. When I arrived I was one of 2 in the waiting room. They called the gentleman that was there before me skipped me and took the person after me who had appeared to be friends of the staff. I expressed my concern that I was in a rush, just how the lady did who they took and skipped me. Understanding that donating takes time and the most that I can do is plan for it accordingly I didn't plan to have my time disrespected or my pla
Nikki is one of the most amazing, kindhearted people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She brings sunshine everywhere she goes and does SO much for this center with the most beautiful, positive energy. Please give her and everyone else at this center a raise!! She and the other employees of this center have been heroes to show up during the pandemic to help people in need. Thank you SO much!
I've donated plasma for YEARS and this is BY FAR the friendliest plasma center I've ever been to! Literally every stage of the process is wonderful and everyone makes you feels so cared for. This is the first time I've experienced actually looking forward to donating plasma instead of it being a "chore". 10/10 highly recommend this location.
They are great! Everyone is super nice and helpful. It takes a little long, but they have tons of people coming to donate. They are much better than CSL! I especially like Elsa, Nikki B. and James. They are always happy, efficient, and make this whole process much better!
Never had a problem before. All the workers are very professional. A screener names Elizabeth has a positive attitude, and is always quick to answer any questions as many of the staff is. I always trust the staff with my health thank you to the staff and keep it up.
I was banned for life over a mistake I made that happened three years ago, I'm so hurt and upset that I can't help people ever again because of it. I accidentally got a date wrong when putting my information in, I understand it's important to tell the truth and that it's important to look over information, I made a mistake and it's so upsetting that I can't help people because of it I have dyslexia and got a date wrong and I would never do it to harm to in danger people and I wish they would let me fix the
This has been a wonderful experience for me. The team that works here are very kind, compassionate & pleasant. It makes me feel good that I'm donating to a good cause to help others. I've had nothing but a great experience here! I will continue to do this....????
I was running late to my appointment, I called the and asked the if I still was able to go in and the lady said yes . When I get there it was 223pm and my appointment was at 215' the phone starts ringing and she answered. She was on the phone for about 3 min laughing and talking nice to the other person. When she hang down the call I asked, I had an appt and she said you only have a 10 min to be late, I was there on time but it wasn't my fault that she answered the phone. Really bad costumer service in this
Appointments for the required exams stop 3 hours prior to closing. This is inconvenient enough for the customer, but in addition, donors do not always get reminded that their exam is coming up. Then, since appointments need to be scheduled in advance, the exam has to get rescheduled which usually needs to be on a different day which can have high likelihood of creating significant hassle for the customer (donor). Even for regular donations, if someone (due to traffic/weather, sudden work schedule changes,
I have been going to this place for over 3 years. The staff here is friendly and make it very welcoming. Not only am I helping save lives it also puts extra cash in my pocket when I need it fast. ?? Love this place. Its so convenient.
Talecris Plasma Resources is GREAT! Staff is awesome, and the place is clean. I've donated almost a year and enjoy the kind, fun, professional atmosphere. I am blessed to have the opportunity to make a little extra $$$ and help people that need Plasma! I've had no issues here, and will continue to donate! I highly recommend this center!!
Im using my bfs account my real name is Leandra. Anyways, I've never had a problem here at this center. A few years back I tried to donate but was deferred because of piercings and tattoos which was no biggie.. so I waited and went back. The beginning process is long but hey they have to be thorough with every thing and it's worth it. I looked online beforehand on what needed to be done to donate to make sure I wouldn't get deferred for any reason and to make sure I would be a good enough donor. Yea people
1st, a shout-out to Jessica for speedy and friendly customer service. 2nd, this plasma donation center has had the best customer service and experience that I've ever had of all the plasma centers I've ever been to. I highly recommend you come. however, it is very popular so you might want to make an appointment ahead of time.
It's a great feeling to be helping people who need plasma for life saving medications. The staff is friendly (especially Jess who always has a smile on her face). They have great protocols during COVID. It usually takes about two hours for the whole process, but it's sometimes taken up to three when they are busy.
Go in here for a wonderful cause and you get paid for it. The staff here are friendly and efficient. Jessica was super rad, and answered all the questions I had about the process. I went in for samples a couple days ago, and will be back soon to see Scout and Jeremy again to donate!
Shoutout to Mandi, love her life.
I make an extra $120 a week . The staff is AMAZING. Nikki was gentle, kind and professional. I highly recommend this establishment.
Elizabeth Mayen is hands down one of the sweetest, most polite employees at this location! She radiates good energy and is very helpful and professional when it comes to needing any questions answered during a visit! She gets a five star rating in my book!
Wow! Some of these reviews make me wonder how some people survive. The staff is always friendly. If im deferred, it's because there is something wrong with me and it's for my protection. Thank you for a job well done!
I just want to say thank you so much to all the amazing staff members at Grifols in Lakewood! Yeah, sure they can hurt you with a finger poke here and a arm poke there, but they are all super sweet in the end. Plus they give you money when you leave! So either keep saving lives or start saving lives, but do it at Talecris Plasma Resources or Aka Grifols in Lakewood off Sheridan and Alameda.
I transferred over from another location and have been here for about a month And it has been night and day when it comes to efficiency with the staff here. It is incredibly slow, you can come and be the 1st or 2nd person and can take 45 mins to get through screening process and hookup and takes only 53 mins to donate. Although the staff are nice they need to find another speed then slower than a turtle. Edit? This place is a joke, waited 30 mins and left. Was informed they had no phlebotomy staff on site a
Interesting enough I posted a review and it was deleted. Hmmm wow. The review wasnt horrible and named several employees that I believe are amazing at their job. I didn't think it was legal, definitely not a good practice to delete reviews. I will never be back at this place. Bad bad news.
This place is garbage. They have lowered the compensation once again. They also lowered the referral compensation. Do not go to this location they are ripping people off. The compensation for plasma donations has been a topic of debate, with some people feeling that donors should be paid more given the significant profits that plasma centers and pharmaceutical companies make from plasma-derived products. Here are some points to consider: Industry Profits Market Value: The global plasma market is substant
I really enjoy coming here it is really family orientated. I have been coming here for two years already. I have bought my kids bday presents and Christmas presents and it is very convenient. I have a job and just save my money when I come to donate. Very good place to come donate. Sheerae is a good person Elizabeth M. Sandra M. And a few more that are great in sticking the needle with no pain. Thanks
Love donating here. Its clean, the girls are fantastic. I've never had any major complications. That's because they are super attentive and are close by if anything is wrong. They make something like donating plasma seem like a pleasant experience and considering the circumstances, that says quite a bit about the level of professionalism there.
This is an awesome place to donate plasma. Elizabeth M is awesome she makes the experience fun she is very friendly and is one of the great workers here. Arica is also very friendly and makes the experience very positive. Courtney is a new face she is also friendly and is doing a great job. Sylvia also makes the experience fun and positive also very friendly. Lizzy is one of the best here she's always fun to talk to very friendly she poked me and i didn't feel the needle at all. She's great to joke around
They never answer the phone I live in Aurora and wanted to see what new Donor get before I make the drive THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE EVER!! I've called different days and hours no answer. Smh
This place is very professional. Clean Always in and out. Fast staff is friendly and welcoming the woman up front Britney has been super kind and extremely helpful ??
Very unfriendly staff, they don't even greet you, absolutely no niceties. The supervisor there needs to remind their staff to treat doners with respect. Definitely needs some fine-tuning & further training in that area so as not to make people feel like they are shuffling cattle through.
Just a heads up if you are thinking of donating here: if you do not reside within 30 miles you cannot donate here. However, they don't bother to tell you this when you call to set up your first appointment. We travelled quite a distance to come here because we had heard it was a great place to donate, but we're turned away because we don't live close enough! I would think that if the need is so great, it wouldn't matter where we from. Obviously, we won't be returning here and hopefully this review will spar
What a great way to make some extra money while reading a book or watching a movie! The staff are great here and they treat everyone like much more than just a source of plasma. Liz at the front desk is always courteous and professional. Get yourself on down and start making mo way today!
Everyone there is so pleasant and kind. I had Jess helping me out and getting me through my physical. she was also very awesome. I am definitely going to donate again very soon.
Today while donating, I had a very positive experience with one of the employees by the name of Max! He was up beat and performed his job with a great attitude! I feel that Max is a great member of the Talecris Lakewood team and gets a five star rating!
Worst place don't waste your time. Made an appointment online for a new donor and came in and they tell me they can only do a sample and pay $5 even after I called on my way to make sure everything was good
Friendly staff and clean facility! Everything is done by the book. I would disregard the bitter reviews of people who couldn't donate. If you are in good health and live a clean life, you can donate! Check their requirements on piercings and tattoos and you should be fine :). I'm your average joe who understands that sometimes things might have to run a little long with a medical office. Yes, there are numerous homeless people and slightly shady looking characters, but that's the nature of the beast as this
Signed in at 9:00 a.m., had to wait over an hour to get into the donor area, then had to wait nearly another hour to get seated and hooked up to a machine. I didn't see the sign out front saying they were short staffed qhen I walked in, but still. It shouldn't have taken over two hours for a return donation. Hopefully they get more staff soon.
Everytime i go to donate im excited because i know i will be taking care of by professional staff who take pride in thier jobs. They are fast and friendly. I went in room 3 with a girl named Elizabeth and she did such a great job and was so nice to me! I could tell she knew what she was doing and loved her job! I look forward to going there more often because im comfortable and i would recommend this place to anyone!
Wouldn't let me donate because my photo on my driver's license doesn't have my new tattoo in it. The woman was rude and very offensive!!!I just got this tattoo a year ago!!! I'll never go back there.
Me and my boyfriend stood in there for 2 hours went through new patient information and at the end they stated since my boyfriend dont speak English we cannot donate worst experience and discrimination ive never felt so embarrassed
I have been going here for a couple of months now and I have always had a wonderful experience! I'm never here for long as the process is well managed and I'm always paid in a timely manner! I would encourage anyone to go here for the best donation expericance....seriously!
Dear reader: Before passing through the doors of this fine establishment, you must first understand that you are dealing with competent professionals. I state this so that you may understand if you have a bad experience here it's probably of your own doing. The staff is absolutely amazing. Ps. Shout out to Jessica, and Jamie for making me chuckle along the way xD. (Employees of the year!!!)
My experience with this center has always been great . customer service frome Michelle and Nicky also liz and hiroko , Brenda , Jenn , they are all really good at their job and im glad i can be a part of a really great organization. Thank You ;)
RBC?d twice here because of their lack of training. Soon as I came back from the first one they messed up on properly sticking me three times in three different veins. Not to mention 3 different nurses so definitely don't recommend. On top of everything the trainer is the one who messed up on sticking me the first time I RBC?d. They blamed it on my veins but ever since I've been to CSL plasma I've never had issues.
Been a great experience. Staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable. Elizabeth is alway full of cheer. I appreciate her attitude. Feel free to use me as a referral source!
I have been coming here for a while now! I would recommend this place for anyone looking to get any fast cash. Mrs. Nikki is awesome! Always has good energy, and very polite.
My arm got bruised up and was put on hold because their "experienced" phlebotomist got her pride hurt because I told I wanted someone who knew how to stick my left arm. This was the final straw. Use to like this place but now... I've been left hooked up so long my arm bleed through my bandage. With the appointment system, it still takes me an hour to get hooked up. I will sit out my hold and then go somewhere else.
For the most part everyone was really nice , just some people can't handle the truth, so I relocated to a great donating place ????
Myself, my daughter and my D.I.L. used to jump around from company to company getting the new donor fees, but we have stayed at Grifols, and stopped jumping around- due solely to the amazing staff at Grifols. They somehow become your friends, lol. It also helps that they never mess up their ?pokes?. At other places, it was frequent that they would have to re-poke or cause hematomas. This has never happened at Grifols. We highly recommend this donation center!
Have had issues of missing veins for 6 weeks. More issues here in that time than the 3 years I donated at biolife Madison Wisconsin. Worst one I had a decent amount of blood coming out, I was frustrated and I'm that moment decided I was never coming back because they messed it up so much before. The nurses tried convincing me to stay while adjusting the needle as I'm pleading with them to just let me go. Seemed like I had no autonomy and it all felt kinda weird and aggressive. Go somewhere else
My experiences at talecris have been for the most part good. Some of the staff could use some cheering up but that might come with any job. One ofe the staff members Elizabeth Mayen always provides a wonderful and welcoming environment. Kudos to her.
Rude staff member refused me , due to me having a hospital wrist band on from the day prior. I had been seen in the Er the day prior and forgot to take my band off my wrist. This staff member was asking me alot of personal privacy information about my Er visit and then refused me to donate. Very unprofessional here.
best experience at a plasma donation center BY FAR. my phlebotomist ( I will try to get her name next time I donate! ) explained everything about the process and machine to me. the person who conducted my physical, Jessica, was very nice, understanding, professional, and answered all my questions. everyone I encountered and saw seemed happy and like they enjoyed their job, which was a big change from others I had donated at. was also at least two times faster of an intake process as a new donor than others
The employees here are very warm and welcoming. They are professional and quick at their job. Love all the bonuses for the donors that been there longer that no longer get new donor fees.
Well, I have to give them props to be able to handle so many donors. As a donor myself, I enjoy my time relaxing, having conversations with alot of the staff. I feel I need to introduce to possible new donors some of the great staff members, beginning with Alisha, Sandra, Elizabeth, Jaime, Nikki, Erica, Courtney, and Christina too. They give alot of personal attention and are always there with great smiles, and professionalism. Stop in and enjoy the fact that us donors are helping other people that have med
Have not been donating here because they give you like $30 for a donation and it takes a minimum of two hours at this location. But they call me up a few days ago and say ?hey come on in and we'll give you a bonus of $100 for coming back here to donate?. So trustingly I do come back to donate, takes almost 3 hours and then they give me $30 and say we don't have give any bonuses and don't know what I was talking about, even though THEY CALLED ME !! I feel like it's a scam to get you in get your plasma then p
Been going here for 6 months now and it's just been getting steadily worse. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional.I will never come here again
Well, i was treated poorly at another location, and was received with open arms at 145 S. Sheridan. From the management to the new students. They know my name, and treat me like a team member in the cause of saving lives. Sylvia is my favorite tech, then comes Mrs. Nikki! All the donors have love in their hearts. Makes my day when i go! Hope You too will decide to be someones hero<3 -Kind Shaun
Usually this place is a fairly well oiled machine. From arrival to departure. Unfortunately of late everything seems a mess. My 10:45 appointment has me at now 12:50 still waiting to through intake. Short handed or over booked , I can't say. This is not the normal for this center.
I've been going to this place for about 4 years twice a week every week I've always had good experience here and the ladies in the back are fantastic and all of them know how to have fun and laugh and joke around I have two favorite people there they always take good care of me hands down
The staff is always friendly and makes the process easy, and this plasma center is much more inviting and faster than the CSL in Aurora which is the only other one I've been to. I like that you can schedule appointments because then they have a set amount of people to deal with at one time, which makes the process faster. Definitely useful for some extra cash or savings!!
I love coming here, it feels like family every time. Everyone is very nice and helpful, the wait is never too long. Thank you Nikki for always being so helpful and makin me laugh XD
This is my favorite location everyone is very helpful and courteous. Very profession and clean. Everyone knows what they are doing and my donation process is usually very quick. I get seen as soon as I come in and out and very pleasant.
Been here a few months, can be slow when they are busy, but the employees are positive and helpful, the facilities are clean and sterile, safe practices are followed, and I'll give a special shoutout to Cassandra for being awesome and especially helpful when she didnt need to be, thanks!
I came into this place happy and excited to donate blood. And I got turned away because of a mental health diagnosis that I got 5 years ago. A diagnosis that I have been stable from for 5 years, they then told me because of this diagnosis I could not donate because of my diagnosis. Thiswas very upsetting and sad and also very much stigmatized. I left crying and upset and still am. Very disappointed that the medical field is stigmatizing me so much when you would think they want the opposite. :(((
Now They are friendly don't get me wrong.. But I donated 3 times only once did I leave without incident... My arms are so bruised, and swollen. I was poked many times. I just had bad luck here. I won't go here anymore. Or anyplace period.
This is a great place to come. You get to help others and make some extra money. The bonuses they've had lately are amazing but not as amazing as Liz M. She's always so friendly and helpful.
I have been coming to this location for a few months now and on a regular basis...twice a week and I love coming here cuz everyone that works here is nice and even knows me by name...most of them anyway and it makes it more personal and I really like that!! I definitely would reccomend this location for donating!
I donate because I love to help out in any way I can to help save another persons life. Life is to short, so if by me coming in twice a week to spend a hour and a half to two hours of my time to help someone then that's what it takes, also the staff are amazing and give Good Vibes! Plus u get ???? so what more to ask for.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional service. My mom went here to donate and not only was she treated rudely, but they LOST her SSN. They threw vital papers in the trashcan. Not a shredder or a folder- a trash can. Now we have to worry about identity theft. I can't believe these people run a business.
Every year I try to donate plasma in remembrance of my younger daughter's step-mom who passed away from Leukaemia about 6-7yrs ago! I had gone to another facility & had an awful experience which in turn made me skip last years donation due to anxiety! I just decided to visit this location on a whim kinda & have had nothing but wonderful customer experience! All the ppl that have worked with me have done amazing work! Keeping me calm & coming back to check up on how I'm doing during the process! They all hav
I have been to a couple different locations, but this place is definitely my favorite! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the building is very clean, and they always get me in quickly and efficiently.
The staff at the Sheridan Facility are professional and pleasant. My experiences here have been great, and I would recommend donating when you have the time. Very helpful cause..
Staff is cool. Somedays they move people through faster than others but, thats a plasma center for you. I've always had a good experience. This place even pays you if you don't finish and it's not your fault!!! I recommend this over other places...ESPECIALLY CSL IN AURORA, DONT GO THERE!
This place was pretty good untill I donated and DID NOT get paid on my card, called and was told wait ten minutes and call again. Well they never picked up when I called back. So if you don't get paid for your donation good luck...seems they don't care anymore...
I've been coming here for years I like the worker they always make me comfortable when I donate.
Going to be completely honest here. Once you waste 4 hours and they decide that you can donate, it's a very professional and quick process. however just about everything else is broken. You can spend 4 hours in their waiting room for them to turn you down because of your pulse being just one or two points too high (happened three different times to me) Also their rewards system is a lie. You can do everything right, but you still might not your money because of some technicality they thought up at the las
It sucks this is the closest plasma place to my house. I drive 30 min to get here and today I had to leave because I had been waiting for over an hour and still hadn't been stuck. I made an appointment, but apparently they over book. If you don't mind wasting gas and time this might be the place for you.
The techs on the floor paid no attention who was done first or who needed to still be hooked up to a machine... It took 3.5 hours as a return donor and it is going on 3 hours since I've donated and I STILL haven't been paid... The whole reason I donate is to be able to buy groceries and to be able to get to work and because they refuse to answer the phone or pay folks how they say they will, I can't... Then when I call the 1-855 number they said there's nothing they can do and I'll just have to wait until t
Quick and trying to get quicker. Elizabeth was very professional and kind. Overall not a bad experience... except of course the whole needle in your arm part but there's no getting around that part.
When I think about donating plasma I usually associate it with needles and discomfort but here I've never felt more at home. Great RESPONSIVE staff that take their jobs very seriously, although fast paced they are very kind and sometimes even silly themselves. Not to mention they have on the BEST T.V show selection so I'm always able to zone out and focus on something instead of the process of donation. Special thank you to Max for taking care of me today. 07/14/19
Again, waiting waiting waiting! Got here at 7 they wouldn't let anyone start the kiosk because no one was ready. By the time I got to I was sent away due to too many donations in a 7 day period, I was told to come back tomorrow. Well it's tomorrow I got here at 658 it is now 740 I still haven't been taken care of. DO NOT DONATE AT THIS LOCATION!!!! Unless you don't value your time
Elizabeth is awesome along with so many of the staff! They take care of you and become good friends during the process. I always look forward to showing up??
I don't know how this donation center has any good reviews, they don't have enough employees to assist. Sometimes it takes me 1 hour to start donating and another 2 hours to donate because the machines are old and often has problems. I don't recommend it, I'm changing my donation center.
Was a waste of my time. Spent 2 hours doing all the steps needed to try and donate. Then when I got rejected because of my medical history I didn't even get paid for the 2 hours wasted. Place sucks doesnt even look that sanitary. Unprofessional staff. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
I have been donating at Talecris since 2008 and the staff has always been very professional and personable. I wouldn't donate anywhere else. God bless them all.
Most garbage location I've ever donated at. The staff is untrained, swears on the floor, they lose paperwork frequently. 10/10 would not recommend donating here for your safety!
I use to donate once a week. Went in and they told me they smelled pot and sent me home after my exam. I will never go back. It's bad enough that those vulture dont pay anything. First 4 trips they do and then it all goes down. Dont believe me? Find out for yourself. The whole town smells like pot people!
They run ?rapid? blood tests each time you go in. They do not inform you that the tests have a significant false positive rate. My husband was (very unprofessionally) told that he tested positive for HIV. After going to our primary care doctor and spending an entire week in a state of massive anxiety, we confirmed that it was 100% a false positive. We are BOTH banned for life. I understand that the tests aren't perfect, but the entire situation was handled HORRIBLY. We received the letter telling him that h
Rachel is by far the best rep and the staff is friendly and nice. Been coming here for 2 years now
This place is completely ridiculous and RACIST against white people. They tell my wife she's too thin at 140 lbs, the needle is the size of a bic pen cap etc, etc, excuse after excuse and completely waist people's time Stay far away!!! Very unprofessional and don't know what they are doing while talking about and turning away people because of the color of skin!!! PATHETIC
Love this location! Staff is super friendly and everything is very organized. I have been coming here for over a year and have pnky positive thinga to say about the process, staff, and the facility!
Amazing staff always friendly! I look forward to donating i feel so welcome and cared for. They take great care of me here so thankful for everyone ??
Wasted my time. I just moved from Kansas with a friend. Finally got letter with address. How many purple give away their address? So I didn't remember it. Took bus for 1 HR. To donate a 2nd time. Couldn't remember his address. They said I can't donate. Send me a trekking letter and I'll bring it. But they don't. Will donate elsewhere. Place is a joke.
This place was good until they deferred me permanently over me not updating my address.
If you are a crackhead, junkie, or tweaker - or like being around crackheads, junkies, or tweakers - or enjoy being treated like a crackhead, junkie, or tweaker - then this Talecris center is for you. The facility is often quite dirty & unkempt. It is unorganized, and staffed with several seemingly very unhappy employees (including the Manager) who will make your visit & donation a very unpleasant and miserable experience. Long wait times, condescending employees, poor management, and unprofessional behav
The staff is rude, they often forget to pay you, they lie about payouts and try everything they can to not pay you what they say they will. According to them if you go twice withing one week you get $50 on your second donation but more times than not they make up an excuse and only pay you $20. When you call them up when they "forget" to pay you they put you on hold for hours or give you the run around. This place is absolute garbage and I would recommend everyone to find another plasma donation center to g
Excellent staff very polite and understand customer service Jessica is a very good plasma technician and so is the nurse on duty I appreciate your service thank you I forgot to mention Brittany in this post she's a very good technician also
I thought the staff was amazing!! If it wasn't for Google voice I wouldn't be able to even spell half of this post. I'm a new doner I quietly told one of the staff members about my reading and spelling issues. They helped me with everything without hesitating. thanks guys
Went today. 53 people in the front area, side rooms and the back on both sides was full. Regular donation took 3 hours 15 minutes. Only 1 person short on staff. The new appointment system is crap. It used to take 1.5 hours now its 2.5 to 3.5 for regular donation. They schedule 10 appointments online for every 20 minute slot and supersupervisor said that 15% are no shows. That's 8.5 people they have to stick every 20 minutes to stay on schedule. They have 4 stickers on the floor typically. Only 6 donators
My First Visit Went Good, Took Me About 3 Hours But Other Then That Smooth....But TODAY I Was Disappointed.... When My Father Tried Going In This MORINIG As A New DONOR... And Due Too His Lack Of English.. No One Was Available Or Wanted Too HELP With The First Paper Work That's GIVEN... ( English)..... So Was Then Asked To Try Another PLACE??? #BADService THANKS GUYS! Great Work
Waste of my time this morning. They are too vague at letting people know who can donate. Gave me the wrong info for when to eat, sent me out to have breakfast only to find out when I returned that they don't take people who have had piercings in the past year. Why couldn't this have been brought to my attention when they initially looked at my paperwork instead of making me spend money and time just to be told "no"? Also, they leave patient's paperwork out on the counters. Talk about a HIPAA violation.
This place sucks. The girls are all too busy standing around gossiping to be bothered with any kind of quickness. They give plasma donation a bad name and will lose donors, either to another center or altogether. Poor people suffering who need medication and they won't get it because This place forgets it's about the donor. Without us, there is no use for them. Over an hour just to get back tongue donation part. Ridiculous. Other centers have a 15 min process, cleaner and more convenient
These people here top notch the veterens of that place have logged more hours into getting people in and out quick as can be and really only being held up because others are dehydrated or dont eat proper for big bottles it should be no more than 45 48 minutes to get outta there you don't drink water or eat proper you boost your time at least another hour that's on you not the machines you figure three of them ladies in the back one doctor one lady pricking fingers having to deal with a 100 or more people
Brttani did a great job! The entire staff is very warming an welcoming. Best experience ever
Sylvia is always quick about processing me through & she's funny ?? Julio is a good sticker lol. Courtney is nice Everytime I see her. TPR is always clean and I trust them.
I've always had super nice staff help me. I can see how hard they work and how tiring it can be, so i've really appreciated their intentionality and care.
Customer service & basic work ethic needs to taught in this location. It's been about 3-4 yrs since my last visit and still the same old B.S.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Second time in they rolled my vein! 5th time in they do it again! Then they only pay half of what they owe me. When I call I'm placed on a 35 minute hold only to be given less than the amount I was promised. The guy wouldn't even remotely try and talk to me. Shady and gross place! Don't go here.
Absolutely love this place! Along with all the staff. Their all great with awesome personalities, Victoria is amazing and so outgoing. Love her humor ????
Love the appointment system, staff are awesome. Usually spend no more than 1.5 hours from the time I walk in till I leave.
This place has really made this place a great and enjoying place to donate. The staff is wonderful and start to finish is around 90 min. Jozette was a great fun woman to be around. If your considering donating plasma I highly recommend this place.
I love helping others, and I love getting extra money. At Talecris Lakewood I can do that and have a pleasant experience as well. I highly recommend this location and their staff.
Don't go. People here are far more interested in their side conversations then answering questions or helping people get through the process. God forbid you come in with any coupon ?the magically forget to apply it? just not worth the time.
Not only has plasma played a valuable role in fighting Covid 19, it is vital in dealing with so many other diseases and issues. Did you know that plasma is necessary for one of the most promising Alzheimer protocols in progress? Share yours and make the world a better place for so many people. The experience is not at all what I expected. The staff is knowledgeable and they really seem to care about their regular donors. There are a number of checks and balances to keep you, as well as the inevitable do
Great place to go for extra cash! In n out super quick! Ask for Brittani, she'll get ya taken care of!
So far my experience here has been good. They even have staff that is nice and is willing to answer questions at any point in the process.
My general experience is good, there are some times which I spend so long waiting (around 2 hours or more). Everyone is very nice and super helpful.
People new to the facility go in with no clue on what to do. You make an appointment and go in. Sit. Then if you don't hear your name, you go up to the counter and then they say, oh you was late even though you were sitting in the waiting area. Have to reschedule. Thanks a lot.
I was gonna give this company hope for my husband's sake. But after the secound time of him not being able to donate because of his "Oder" which he did not have, we will not be returning. That is just insane! Never have we ever been kicked out of places but here well I guess you just lost one who could have saved many lives.
I've been coming to this location for years. The workers make me feel comfortable every time I donate.
I referred a friend to this place because they said I would get $50 but they told him he has to donate 2 times for me to get it, they didn't tell me that bullshit. They forgot to call me up like 4 times so 3 people went ahead of me and I had to be there longer, and they put the needle in my vain wrong which was sideways for some reason and made me almost pass out and throw up. The money is not even worth it, they don't even care what happens to you.
Upset a decorated veteran 2 days from v day excluded because of my Denver address primarily. A transitional housing for vets I explained. I am a permanent resident there 5 years now and do not engage in risky behavior this policy is ridiculous.
Wow they turned me away because of mail even tho I took in my change of address packet. Do they really want donors because they being really picky. Now got turned away because of 1 BP point. They want 100 BP and I was at 99. SMH update... Stars keep dropping. If you really need money stay away from here. They will just waste your time.
WAS a donor for years here until today when the racist woman who stuck me was gossiping about "white people", I was so offended and applauded at the conversation she was having w a donor next to me, completely unprofessional! I went in to no flow and she came over I let her know I would get sick if she moved the needle, she told me to look the other way and moved it anyways as I proceeded to almost pass out she was increasingly rude and annoyed by my state. I told her it was hurting and she told me to look
I've been here on and off for years. They always have such friendly staff and very helpful. Thank you all!
I donated twice here. I wasn't told the first time that you had to keep your card that your given... A replacement card takes weeks to come in the mail. There isn't even a Citi Bank in Colorado for you to get your money quickly. Online appointments are useless unless it's at 8am and even then it takes over two hours for everything. The first time you donate it will take over 5 hours because you have to have a physical too. I wouldn't recommend this place.
I have enjoyed coming here the staff is fun. Pretty quick most of the time nice way to give back and make a little extra money.
Brittani and Gail and lupita are great. Love this center
As soon we entered the building this young lady Jessica(CMS)greeted us, with the best attitude, very knowledgeable. Today was a blessing at Talecris Lakewood!??
This place sucks. No where near like the places in aurora. Drove there to be told ssn and dL need to match. Ok no problem. Go get my ssn updated to match I'd. Then they say I can't use it because the ssn is not on receipt from ssn office. Then check my veins so I can back only to be told that I can't come there because my veins aren't as prominent and to go to a different one. Waste of time and gas. I started this at 6 am and out at 10:43 still unable to donate.
Some of the greatest people are there..nikki erika, julio, derek ( both of them), kelly, elise, dylan, jeremy and max. They take extra care when it comes to a pain in the butt like me. Im sorry to anyone i forgot. They are super at their jobs. But love and respect to all of you guys.
Very nice staff and always efficient and quick with getting people in and out! Thank you, will continue to donate at this location for sure! :)
If someone is going in for first time 1.i'd 2s.s 3letter with envelopes (sent to address on id 4) Should ask to communicate in separate room Because the ladies are not quiet in main lobby they tell all the business LOUD Call make appointments before going I have not yet gone in the area where the donation and etc are this was the intiial
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
