Really nice staff there very friendly an cool. But it's the line that sucks I've been coming here for about 8 months and at the beginning yeah there was a wait but not that long it'd be about 30 minutes to an hour but since they've gotten new machines this line is crazy it takes almost 3 1/2hrs to 4hrs to get in a chair. And it really sucks to wait that long but when your like me and really need the money like for bills or laundry or something like that. a 4hrs wait is irritating id expect more for my time
First off most of the normal staff is great. Management is nonexistent, very understaffed. Most workers are good at what they do and other clearly look like they are there for just a paycheck, going through the daily motions. You will see 5 machines all indicating that the donar is complete while some workers are sitting on the donar beds and talking about what they are going to eat for dinner, weekend plans, up coming events etc. Hire more workers this is ridiculous.
I've been going here for well over a year now. I used to be in and out within 2-2 1/2hrs tops up until a week or 2 ago. Then it went from having 25+ different machines to how like only 10 different machines. I was here for about 4hrs almost 5hrs total, it took ridiculously long for the entire process. Idk what exactly is going on. But, this isn't okay. They need more machines to accommodate the staff and donors. I hope this is just temporary. ??
So I have been coming here for years, never had a problem usually even on a busy day or time with two or three employees we would wait maybe 35 min tops to get back to the donating portion. Today since this place switched over to the new dumb machines we waited 2.5 hrs yes , 2.5 hrs just to get back to the donation floor. This is how it's going to be now so the extra hundred bucks I would make a week is in no way worth the time it takes to donate beginning to end this we'll have been three hours out of my
Ive been going to plasma for a while now and with the new machines the lines have gotten a bit longer, the one person that makes the line go by faster is Christy. She's has a great attitude is so energetic and is always consistent. If I had to choose someone to help me through the whole process it would be her.
I've been with CSL for years. Off and on. Phoenix, San Diego, now Washington. Their always friendly, clean, and fast. I like that no appointment is needed. Now>The pay is droping, so im seriously considering going anywhere else. They have aquired new machines. They take more than 880 and faster now..yet they're dropping the competition. That's BS
This place was hopeful. SUGGESTIONS LIE, LIE, LIE & NEVER TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR HEALTH HISTORY. 1st time i went had an awful experience, staff was touching hair, face & clothes after putting on gloves to take my blood. 2nd time I went over a year later. I got turned down because of 2 questions telling the truth. (i use an inhaler sometimes) If you have EVER been there you'll waste 2 hours of your life & not guaranteed any funds or rewards. God forbid you have medicine or medical issues over a decade ago
There only drawback is being SLOW. There will be a longer line waiting to get screened and only 2 employees working when there are a lot of other employees standing around that could help, but don't. Other than that they're really good, clean, very friendly, and knowledgeable.
Shireen has been absolutely distracted with anything except her job every time I've walked into this place. Rather than dealing with intake she has a habit of walking away to socialize with coworkers about off job topics or staring at other donors in line rather than actually taking any vitals. It's outrageously rude.
This is my 375th donation here, I'm not new. You guys have 20 people in line right now and 2 phelbotomists on the floor. I've been her for an hour and I'm still 5th in line. You guys gotta get it together. You lower the amount paid per bottle by $5/donation and we still wait THIS long? This is nothing new. Figure it out. Phlebotomists are cool but your staffing is ass.
Jazmine, Bryce, the phlebotomist and the nursing staff are very professional. The Manager is even in on days off. Even with the challenges of their new equipment and such they are doing the best they can. I encountered a bad experience and they showed they would do whatever it took to resolve it. Thank You!??
new machines rika no faster then the old ones the staff is very slow to check u in the donor floor has an easy 1hour wait to get into a chair.. faster machines equal slower staff... the wait time sucks it is not worth the time spent inline. they used to be fast and productive now i watch the employees on their phones and dancing more then working. this is not the place to donate......... try the one in kent
Employee last week neglected to wrap my arm correctly and I lost blood. Had barely an apology and wanted to use opticide wipes when I asked for alcohol to clean my arm. 2.5 hour waits with new machines and new rates pay 10 dollars less than last month. Will be going to grifols
Love the staff and experience! Christy who does your stats is wonderful. She is friendly and personable. Becky and Kiran are amazing and I hardly feel it when they are working with me. I highly recommend. I use to go to octapharma but now I go here just because the experience is better and for some reason much faster! EDIT: they got new machines and I'm not sure is this is why, but I have been back twice, and literally in line for an hour and a half if not longer. Well, they say the machines are faster, the
Horrible place only because of the horrible people who work here. I waited 2 hours to get poked and I joked about having a "curfew" to get back to my sober living house. The little blonde hair ponytail girl asked me about living in so er living and then told me that because I said that in front of another worker that I can't donate. I was literally about to get poked. Wow. DISCRIMINATION towards a recovering alcoholic. Bravo.
This gotta be the worst plasma donation center i?ve been to. I have been donating for years. It's the first time I've been here and the staff were so unprofessional. I got my arm poked and I was complaining about my arm because there was fluid building up around the insertion site and I saw a big bruise forming. It was really hurting bad but the staff decided to hold off on removing the needle because they need to ?attend to something else? first. Some of them were even rolling their eyes at me even if I wa
The Staff ALWAYS makes this place pleasant..now if Corporate would throw them a pizza party to show they are part of a greater team, especially after switching over centerfuses ..lines are greater and takes twice as long and the donation is bigger with them giving less for donations.. corporate showing what they care about
Today was my first visit as I was a transfer from another state. I give the front staff a five plus out of five. I give the security guard the same (so sorry I bugged so much). The back staff, well a 4 out of 5 and I am being generous. The dark haired girl that sticked me was not rude, but not friendly by any means, however the person that pulled the 4 was the gal with the greyish hair as she was friendly enough. I got stuck their with no phone service as my son had to work over and could not pick me up. I
These guys have worse rates than they did 5 YEARS AGO. They are playing everybody who donates and laughing in your faces making thousands per bottle off you. Good luck
This location is so much slower than Kent. Don't go here. They don't ever hire enough phlebotomist so they're always stuck in limbo no matter the time of day. Then they move with no urgency and don't utilize all of their bays. You'll be here 4 hours as a return donor. lol ridiculous
Since CSL Plasma upgraded machines, the waiting time has at least tripled. However, the new machines take less time for you to donate, but the waiting to get to the phlebotomy floor is horrible. A bottle neck they should address asap!
I have been coming here for quite some time and today has to be one of the worst times I've ever had to wait to donate! They have four phlebotomist on the floor and only two sections open? I have been waiting now since 4:15 and I am still waiting to get called to donate. This is in my opinion poor management! I am patient to a point and this is pushing my limits to the point of looking elsewhere to donate. It is now 5:40 Why are they taking breaks at 5:45 when they are backed up with over 20 people in line
The screening process is very very slow avg time here is 3 hrs not worth it very rude employees they bruised my arm the next time 5 days later still bruised checked in they measured my bruise and told it can't be larger then 2 inches sorry to say it was about 2 and 1/4 inches and was declined to donate even though I have 2 arms some people rely on these low funds they offer of all csl this store ranks at the bottom I travel a lot and go to various csl but here sorry to say grade F people try bio life v
THIS PLACE BANNED ME FOR BEING A RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC!! I WAS TALKING ABOUT MY SOBRIETY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN WAS TOLD I CANT DONATE BECAUSE I LIVE IN CLEAN AND SOBER LIVING!!! I'VE BEEN DONATING SINCE 2019!! I WAS JUST HAVING A FRIENDLY CONVERSATION!!! SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE!!! WHAT DOES IT MATTER IF I LIVE IN CLEAN AND SOBER LIVING AND IM IN RECOVERY?? DISCRIMINATION AT ITS FINEST!!!
I've been going here for a while and had a few bad experiences with Sabina. I tried to help her since she did the process in a backward order as I have done phlebotomy. She started with the iodine before even checking for the vain first and then once the iodine dried, then checked for the vain after touching with unsterial gloves, touches the venipuncture site to check for the vain then process with the stick. After the visit, i told the registered nurse Nathan, and he brushed it off and said, "we'll it is
Since the implemented their new system they can potentially take more plasma from you and the pay stays the same or could even go down if you lose weight. Before they took 880 ml from me every time. I recently lost weight so my payment has gone down while the amount that I donate has gone up to 1000+ ml. Go somewhere else they are ripping you off
I've been coming here for years, and what the company has done recently isn't going unnoticed. Starting November 1st, 2024, the company changed the donor fees. Lowering the total of two donations a week by $3. Speaking for my Center only, they put up signs in the beginning of December showing bonus fees of $30 on your fifth donation and $20 on your 8th during December. When my fifth donation came around, I had to inquire why I did not receive the bonus. I no longer saw the signs, and they said the center di
Associate Sabina Just stares and make a big deal because I don't speak when the last time I donated she let me bleed and yelled in my face that I'm stupid and to hold it down while she cleaned all the blood that was all over the place And then for the other chick saying how some people need to communicate when I was uncomfortable being there from flashes of 3 x that happened And they don't care the 2 Portuguese chicks that was on the floor from 8 am to 9 am February 11,2025 I don't know why they have jo
This place is so slow. The employees don't want to work the job they applied and sought out to do. There's no reason I should be standing in a waiting line for an hour with no more then 3 people ahead of me. This is ridiculous.
The employees are miserable human beings. Biolife Plasma is alot more professional and respectful to there customers.
I've been coming to this location for about 5 years off and on and compared to other donation centers, they are excellent. They are a busy location, but they are efficient even when they are low on staff. While the phlebotomists are not always the friendliest, they aren't rude. Out of the 100+ times I've gone there, there was only once they messed up and put the needle in too far and bruised my arm severely due to the blood going into my arm. It took about 6 weeks for the bruise to go fully away, but that i
I'm new this is only my second time here and I've had to wait an hour standing in a line this is ridiculous to make people stand this long for one another thing I don't like how if you get an express pass you only get to get a head of four people then you have to stand in line til whenever they call you
I just got done with my first 5 donations. They all went nice and smooth so i donated in less than 35 minutes. So far the best center! Everything is organized and the line moves very fast no matter how long it seems. All staff are nice and make you feel welcome! Would definitely recommend this location!
I went here a couple times a while back, and didn't like it, but decided to give them another chance a couple weeks ago. They were nice, and I felt like the donation went smoothly. But it's been two weeks and my arm is still sore. It hurts to bend it, I can't comfortably put any weight on it, and the area where they stuck the needle kind of burns. I'm about to make an appointment with my primary care doctor because I am getting concerned. I don't recommend this place.
I'm honestly scared to give a review because I'm afraid they will retaliate against me. They bruised my left arm so bad that I couldn't bend my arm without pain for a month. Then they bruised the other arm and gave me a deferral even tho both times I was well hydrated and it was their fault. All these positive reviews are from people who work there or are related to those who work there. Don't be fooled. These employees are rude AF and talk down to the donors as if they are all lowlife drug addicts. They s
Long story short, I left feeling very disrespected and unvalued as a customer from the Lady Doctor in the back room. Every time we've talked, it felt like she had an additute with me and was very unempathetic to my situation today. I am not sure if I ever wanna go bad there if I have to talk to her again. Everyone else there is friendly and easy to work with, especially Nathan with the cool blue hair. He is helpful, and I feel appreciated, and he goes above and beyond to help you out. Also, the questionnair
I've been coming to the federal way location for over a year. The entire donor floor staff is always super respectful, talkative and quick. I usually get Brycen to poke me, I never had any issues, he does great every time and I'm not a fan of needles. If your in the area, I highly recommend coming to the federal way location. Thanks donor floor staff!!!
I have come to CSL Federal Way for the past year and have had a good experience during that time, can't say one bad thing! The staff like for example Kiran is very kind, helpful and always professional and greets me with her warm smile! I would definitely recommend to friends and family to come here!
Reason behind my 5 star review is 2 employees. For example Sunday 5/26/2024 after the screening process there was 9 people waiting to get back in the donation chairs. We all stood there for exactly 28 min. Then here comes the dynamic duo right after there breaks they hit the floor immediately. So after 6 min exactly all 9 of us were all in a chair and donating. Needless to say these 2 deserve a bonus & raise $$$$. More than deserving I think. I have personally been donating for over 6 years and that kind of
I'm not sure what the old black ladies name is that checks me in a lot of the times I come here, but she is rude as hell. Everytime she checks me in she checks my arms so much, just looking for a reason to turn me down. She's super rude and doesn't know how to do her job, and I can tell the rest of the staff doesn't like her either. She always telling them what to do and they kind of brush her off, it's actually kind of funny. Other then her everyone else is kind. But she is the absolute worst person I've e
Federal Way location. Awesome staff. Everyone, and I mean everyone here is so friendly, but professional. It's a small nitch bunch, but that's what makes it so great. No one is trying to out do anyone here, so regardless of who you come across, they treat you the same way. I highly recommend this location.
I recently moved from Las Vegas to Washington about a week ago and the customer service here is IMMACULATE!! Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable about the whole process, the facility is extremely clean and the process is by far the quickest and easiest I've ever experienced! I spent about 2 hours here as a new donor and time flew by. Definitely will be returning! (:
I have been giving plasma here for five years now and I love it. I know it can get crowded often but they are diligent at getting through the line pretty quickly! I come here often so I love to see the familiar faces like Hanim, Becky and Kiran! I feel like they make the donating experience really fun and light. It can be a little scary at first but their friendliness makes things easier. Even the people at the front are amazing and so conversational. I know this can't be an easy job and they do it with gra
The people at this plasma center are absolutely wonderful, fun and very caring. A few of them being Joyce, Nathan, Avery, Coral and Laura. The phlebotomists on the floor are very gentle and I always feel physically comfortable through the donation process. They always ask you about your day and show care by remembering details about you. They show their competency by doind a consistent, safe and smooth job every time. This is my face plasma center I've been too.
My experience at the Federal Way location has always been pleasant. The staff has always been friendly to me. My first time went very smoothly. Taevon (probably spelled her name wrong) and another phlebotomist (i cant remember her name)explained the process very thoroughly when I got back to the donation area. Taevon was so good at inserting the needle, I barely felt it. I have donated at this location almost 200 times now, and the only negative thing, which is something to be expected sometimes, is how bus
They are ignorant and will believe any lies people come in and say about you. I just got deferred because someone told them I'm homeless without any proof. On top of the fact they deferred my fiance because she made a comment about how things aren't getting better in our country because of the increase in ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, but apparently that's considered racist even though she didn't mention any specific race. I propose that csl in federal way gets shut down permanently or that they fire alot of the curr
Long lines, but when Roberto is there, everything runs impressively efficiently. Don't give a guy sht for doing his job exceptionally well when slammed. Just pay attention and don't mention the unnecessary. Keep moving, get paid.
Today is my second donation and first time at this facility. The only non negative experience I had was checking in the kiosk. After sitting down to be checked in by one of the receptionist medical staff, or whatever, there was miscommunication on a couple of questions I had answered. All I have to say is for someone who is brand new, the check-in staff should be a little bit more understanding and patient when going over the checks. The lady I dealt with was very condescending and rude with her tone talkin
I was really discriminated against by Nancy the manager and several of the supposed witnesses after I got assaulted
This is a great place to donate. I don't know about their other offices but this one is very efficient. My favorite phlebotomist is Tavyon, she really knows what she's doing when she's drawing plasma. Rarely has she ever had to adjust the needle in my arm and if she had it was always just a slight adjustment, I've been donating plasma for a long time and she is a real standout person in her field. I will definitely keep coming back to this location.. I almost forgot to say that all of the staff that I have
I've been coming to this location for a few years now. The staff has been great. Kimmy, Ashley, Christie, and Linda in the front have been Awesome, friendly and efficient. Songul, Becky, Tayvon and the other the other staff on the donor floor have been great too!
I Love going to this location. I've been a donor for years now. Everyone here has always been friendly to me and I see them doing the same even to the rude disrespectful customers. Everyone is always happy to see me especially Kimmy, Kiran, Becky, Ashley, Ethan, Linda, Austin, Roberto, Henin, Abby and so many more. They always have a smile on their face and great me with care, kindness and compassion. It is alway clean and sanitary inside. Also they try their best to keep us safe. I really appreciate th
Whoever decided to get new machines is an idiot. Longer wait times now
Horrible, unprofessional staff that lied about the amount of money that they give their patients. Not knowing what meager amount they'll give you until they've already taken your blood is almost like gambling. In addition, they are rude and condescending. I would also avoid this place if you are LGBTQ+ because as soon as there are any problems they resort to using slurs. To top it all off, the butchers they call ?phlebotomists? can barely stick a hydrated person. They left me with a gigantic bruise and th
Very friendly and detail oriented staff! Even on busier days, they're able to get people through the donation process swiftly. Also, they are transparent every step of the way. Today was my 5th time going and I was tended to by Kiran who was very sweet & helpful!
There absolutely outstanding This place is. Plus side is that their very fast paced here much faster than Kent that's forshur 100% guaranteed! Highly recommended!
I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been in there three times. Most of the staff is nice, but there are also staff members who will treat you like you're less than. I encountered one staff member Who was a little condescending until I told her that I was a teacher. Then she changed her attitude toward me. I understand that they probably get a lot of people in there trying to get easy money, but it doesn't matter who the person is, they don't deserve to be treated like they are less than. The phleb
At the Federal Way, Washington location I was met by courteous, friendly, knowledgable, caring staff members. Each one openly offered assistance and could not have been more helpful. I also appreciated the many "thank yous" I received.
Christy is really professional, usually with the other attendants I get a high heartbeat, but with Christy that doesn't happen. She gives me security and tranquility that only a great professional can do. Congratulations to CSL for having a professional who really likes what she does.
Nice atmosphere easy to use services kind staff members
Kiran is an awesome technician. But all the staff here is friendly. I usually come here and a couple of times a week and they get me right in and out. I come here because I don't like Octapharma or bioplasma.
i waited for two hours and was never serviced. everytime i went up to ask for help there was no one at the desk. very disappointing for my first visit. will not be returning.
This place is so clean, and helpful, and friendly. The scanning machines suck the big time, but SHOUT OUT to Brittney who took the time to help me figure out how to use my phone for the questions. She took time out of her day to help make mine so much better!!! Thank you, Brittney!!!!
Kiran is a very sticker and nice each times I can in here. She the only one doesn't have my arm hurting after the donation. My arm doesn't bruise up after I get stuck by Kiran. . I like I am in good hands when I see Kiran.
The place is chill. They are really clean and no one here is ever rude or anything. Most of the time people are real polite and have no problem talking to me if I ask a question or say hi. They are really busy a lot of the time but I don't feel rushed or that they are trying to hurry through the steps. The nurses are gentle and always ask if everything is okay or if I need anything while donating. It is a cool experience overall.
The staff are so nice and attentive. They have a great process in working together so that everything moves along as fast as possible and smoothly. I've never had a problem here. By far the best center I've donated with and the only one I'm comfortable with returning to!
All staff are very good at what they do I fully trust them. Nice clean professional area. I have recommended family members and friends and they love it here!
Kiran is a great phlebotomist. She has the touch when it comes to inserting the needle without pain or discomfort. She is always friendly and kind. Another name I would like to mention is Brycen. His skill as a phlebotomist is great. Painless sticks every time. I highly recommend these 2 people for a gentle pain free stick.
I have been coming to donate for a couple of years, and I have no complaints. All the staff is very friendly, and lot of them make you feel very welcome, like Kiran for example, very helpful and friendly.
i don't come in too often, but when i do everyone is always friendly. Kiran is one of the workers there, you'll be lucky to be helped by her or any team member!
It's a clean place I'll give it that the staff needs to go through customer service classes or seminars. They don't do the little things like put the cotton ball on your finger after you get stuck they just put the cotton ball on the table and say apply pressure or give you a bandage you have to ask other donations centers may not be as Clean but how they treat you as a human makes up for it. At CSL you feel like a number. I've been coming here for years. And no one remembers me. But I'll go to another dona
This place is awesome and the people are super friendly! Tavyon and Sabina are superb! There are others who have been helpful as well and make people laugh. So overall great environment!
Kiran & Roberto have amazing customer service. Also Destiny is always so nice to me . Thank you CSL federal way. Coming all the way from New Jersey
Compared to other plasma centers, I've visited, bar far I'm favorite. I'm in and out with little issues. The staff is my favorite part from Kimmy, Christy, and Linda in the front screening. I gotta show love to the people in the back from Kiran and Maralim and the rest. Love y'all.
Kiran was absolutely fantastic her ability to stick was literally painlessly done and she answered all of the questions that I had. She was superb in seat side manner ?? an coming here again thank you again KIRAN ??
So my first time to visit went well. Everything went smooth. Nothing too crazy or bad, simple procedure. Coming back for my second time, is a HUGE difference. I had to answer all the same questions on the kiosk,, despite being told I wouldn't have to when coming. Not a big deal, only took a couple more minutes. What really bothered me, was the fact that I had sat in the waiting room for over an hour, and nobody had came and got me. BUT I didn't see any of the people that were BEHIND me in line have to wait
Very profesional, friendly staff, and inviting environment. Been coming since September 2023 and everybody is great. I fully trust them with my draws!!
I've been to this location multiple times and I had never seen a ?manager? so aggressive towards the employees, his name is Roberto if i remember correctly, he was so rude and disrespectful, i?m never coming to this location again, definitely lost a loyal costumer. I'm so disappointed, she was one of my favorites there.
The stuaff here is always so friendly. From the screening process to the medical staff and the phlebotomists. Kiran is great at finding my tricky veins and help to make the process go smoothly.
kiran is awesome here she is best phlebotomist and so friendly. everyone is so nice here . kiran she always stuck me in the mornings and i saw her she have so much sport and she is best .??
Friendly and really personable staff, Q, Michael, Lavena and Mychal just to name a few, have all been awesome people to talk to when coming in to donate. And they do the best sticks! Staff has been pretty efficient and move as quick as possible to get us donors through, even on super busy days. It's always clean and organized when I come in, which is really nice too.
This is a wonder plasma donation center! The building is very clean, and the staff are always very kind and friendly. They always make sure you are comfortable and that you understand the whole procedure of donating. Chrissy and Kiran especially are always very kind to me.
I like to thank all the employees that work here for doing a great job!! FACTS they are very patient and nice to all FACTS but most important my favorite staff is Ashley
Hanim and Becky were so kind and sociable it made my experience so much better. I hope I get them again. What a difference it made in my experience!!!!
All the staff here are amazing but I want to give a special shoutout to Songul! She's super sweet and super professional. She makes the donation process very easy!
My advice: go to another facility and donate. Always seemed like this location lacked not only professionalism but looked down upon the providers of the plasma that THEY need. The way they address donators seems like you're just some person in desperate need of cash, so they can treat you any type of manner. I had a poor draw due to a worker having a hard time finding my vein. I brought to the attention of one of the managers of how one of the previous workers wasn't competent when it came to sticking my a
Worst place ever to donate very strange rules and regulations to donate i have no problems with my blood but all because i had a different mailing address they supposedly could not help me please get this business shut down, the employees there are the worst most unprofessional workers i have ever met please shut this business down total waste of my time and energy never going to waste my time here again i will be letting everyone i know to please not go there to waste their time.
I don't see what complaint anyone could have about this place. The staff are always very friendly when I come in. Sure sometimes it takes a minute to get back in a bed depending on the time of day, but that isn't their fault. Manage your time better. I've never felt like I'm just a donor and all the staff are good at sticking without searching all over and hurting you. I'm a happy customer! Great job CSL Plasma Federal Way.
I enjoyed my experience as a donor, the technicians were all great and attentive. The technician Tavyon was exceptionally well during the donation process.
Koran is great worker good customer service and will make you feel good about your donation!! Becky aswell is an excellent person!!
They are pretty disorganized and check in takes around 4 hours for new patients. Although, 4 stars for all the awesome staff I met. They seemed pretty knowledgeable and experienced. They made me feel comfortable throughout the day!
There own website says this is the busiest time of the day....yet only one person was working the front when I came in. There were 8 people plus myself waiting to get their vitals checked.....why is it there busiest time yet no ones working the front but 1 ....wait make that 2 people now...still doesn't make sense..... Other than that I like coming here, I just wish some of the employees figured it out, that without us donors they have no job....so be a little friendlier. Not much to ask. If you don't lik
Its very friendly and they're professional the people in the morning love the ladys in the front office and songwy was very nice loved chatting with her ??
I donate here twice a week every week and it's always a smooth process, everyone working here has the best interests of the guests at heart and you can tell.
Horrible phone etiquette. Site is cleanly and quiet but trying to have any full conversation on the phone is near impossible - staff will just hang up at the end of their own sentence with no space for questions or confirmation. Don't think I'll go back.
Staff has always been courteous and helpful, facility seems clean considering all the traffic, and wait time have not been more than 45 minutes every time I have come. I mentioned that I had gotten sick while donating to one of the phlebotomists and she was kind enough to show down the pump speed haven't had issues with nausea since.
The atmosphere here sucks and makes me feel anxious every time I step inside. The employees are weirdos with neuroticism (anxiety, depression, etc.). This Matters because twice in a row I failed to register a heart rate lower than 100 and was unallowed to donate blood. Ironically, I only ever failed to donate once at the CLS Plasma in Kent and I've donated there like 10 times in the past year. That's my anecdotal intuitive experience.
This is the best csl. Their staff is A1 speical thanks to Nathen whos always ready ro stop what hes doing and help you. Roberto does a excellent job to in sure fast service with well trained nice staff. Thank you for ALL your service
I have been a "off and doner" since 1995. The Federal Way Staff is appreciate and respectful of their clients. Every time I've been to Fed Way, they greet me w/a smile and a positive tone in their voice. I transferred from another center where the work attitude was extremely opposite. Fed Way staff has never made me felt like I am bothering them they know what customer service is. I've even been encouraged by a staff member to peruse my interest in learning this industry. Thank you for treating clients
Christy has great Customer service skills..when you come to her booth.. the service is fast and peaceful..she get a 5 Star rating from me..
I'm very upset with this site they refused me because someone gave them false information and instead of asking me about it they just took the word of a stranger and told I couldn't donate and when I asked questions they wouldn't give me the information I was asking for the stuff well some of tge stuff is very would and don't have people skills a lot of people there need to be Retrained. I wish I could give it a zero star.
They are slow as snails. When you go here they are never ready. You be in line for as Lil as a hour to two hours just to get checked in. You get to the back an can wait up to thirty minutes. They are very in professional. A lot of they staff is rude as f***. And the wait is ridiculous. I suggest not to go to the one in federal way. Each time I go my visit is very in pleasant.
Staff is friendly, the pay is alright. If you stop going for 30 days you lose the increased rate that you were on. Which is a bummer. They give out some extra money here and there which is nice. You will need to redo a physical exam if you you do not go for 6 months straight and the pay will be as if you were a nee donor.
When it comes to the donations, I am well pleased. I have been there now over 100 times and have nothing but praise for the front office Techs, Nurses, and the Phlebotomists and donation floor workers. My suggestion is that more attention should be paid to the restrooms. There were Band-Aids in the urinal on Friday and still there on Sunday. The sanitizer dispensers are frequently empty. Daily cleaning should be a priority.
Kiran is a great phlebotomist, she pays great attention to Vitto and cares about who she's working with. A very king respectful lady
Very friendly and great service. The staff here are very professional and attentive to you and your needs. They will always work with you to achieve the best experience you can have and will always put you first before there needs
I love this place, I get in and get out within 25-40 min everytime, they allow you to watch football as well when waiting. Very professional and clean. Good way to get extra roses for strippers. Matter of fact the strippers should start coming down too before they go to work..
I love everyone there but Michael stands out he is always nice and welcoming. Hes the only reason why i go to this CSL and continue to do so. I like all the workers but no one is to Michael level of expertise and kindness. Eveyone should train to be like Michael. Give him a raise he deserves it!!!!
Kiran is the best phlebotomist in the house. Roberto is a great manager and Ms. Kimmy is the sweetest.??
The first person missed my vein completely the second barely found it but the third time they got it. NEVER had a problem before but the one time I let someone other then Roberto touch me they cause pain. Now I go in to donate today and I can't because they caused a bruise.... so now no donation for me. Definitely recommend Roberto however don't let anyone else touch you this is the second time. The inconvenience couldn't be any worse. Definitely donate elsewhere. Biomat is apparently the place to go.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is always nice and clean and the staff if very mindful about keeping things very clean. It can tend to fet busy at times, but if you go online prior to going in it will give you an idea of what are their busy times for that day. Since the 1st of the year, I have NEVER waited in line to be screened for longer than 20mins. Waiting for a bed could take longer, only because not everyone donates at the same rate. So looking online prior to going in, could wind up saving
Overall I'm happy with the staff and the structure. I just wish they'd teach the phlebs to stop taping my arm hair. One girl pulled the tape, disconnected me, and stuck it back to my wrist to adjust the tube and pull it off again. There's a lot of hair on my wrist. Not so much after that.
Great group of staff they have, clean environment, best donating station around!
I have been going to CSL Federal Way for over 2 years now and i have to say they are clean kind great listeners. Michael has been super he is very laid back and has always been decent and one of the best listeners. Thank You Federal Way CSL
Their app is misleading and allows you to select a date and time to visit, but they do not honor it. They apparently "don't do appointments," so setting one on the app is completely pointless. Their sparsely located offices mean that you'll most likely have to drive 30+ minutes to be told that they're "too busy" and "not accepting new donors." Thanks for wasting an hour of my time and my gas :)
Everyone is always really friendly! If you go at the right time, there's no wait! Bring a pair of headphones and relax while you give to a great cause. The compensation is nice and the overall process is pretty quick!
Ever seen the movie zootopia and the dmv sloth scene? This is how slow these people work. Slow slow slow. 99% of the time they are just standing around talking when there is a line of people. They don't wipe the beds down after people leave. Whoever was on my bed previously smelt so bad it lingered . I was disgusted. They are very rude when it comes to applying the needle. Each time I go they just stab it into my arm and then they do it wrong. Call someone else over they do it wrong and then they switch arm
I've been coming here on and off for about 2 years, and lately it's been more of a headache! So the last 3 visits I was told my hermatic was too low, which was not a big deal. I got frustrated when I was told to come back the next day, and when I came back the next day I was told I couldn't donate for 14 days...I asked the nurse how come I wasn't told that information the previous day so that I wouldn't waste time coming in and she didn't have an answer...if the center can make changes to the system to lowe
Great service, Koran helped me throughout my visit today and made sure I was doing well.
Everyone was friendly and it went pretty fast considering it was my first donation. Have a great new donor compensation of $100-$115 (dependant on weight) for first 5 donations in 30 days.
Kiran was a very helpful attendant, fast, and professional. All workers do amazing work.
I've been donating plasma for over 2 years now, 2 different states. This is the cleanest, fastest and friendliest location I've been in! Super easy, super fast and their app is super helpful!! Makes the process go a little quicker!!! Thank you Fed Way CSL for making this as pleasant as possible! ??????
Great place to come. Very friendly and professional staff. Not like the Kent Washington location. That location is a joke ????. I will never go back there because they are always understaff and the ones on the donor floor they be back there talking all the time and not caring that the line is long as hell and they are like they don't care. And they only have one person doing the screening. CSL plasma and Federal Way it's the place to come!!
I'm so pleased with the care I receive when I donate plasma at the Federal way center. Very clean and Everyone is so pleasant and friendly. I have been donating for many years, but recently at the FW location. A BIG shout out to some of these awesome phlebotomists, Kayla, Songal and David. They are the best at "poking" me However all them are wonderful. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one. Diana Doyle
I love this place it help for extra cash !!.good people especially the ladies that check you in!!!Kiran she know her job nice lady so when yll see kiran so hello good job
Catherine is an A-1 phlebotomist...she is always very respectful, courteous, and professional. I don't know how she can stick that huge needle in my arm and not hurt me. She's excellent at what she does. CSL is lucky to have her!
The staff during the morning/afternoon are rude and condescending..I get anxiety every time I come to donate..they like to make example?s out of people who speak up about how disrespectful they are to people?I don't get it..if we're saving lives then why are we being treated less than?id recommend going during the evening where the staff are laid back and speak with professionalism
Such nice staff and always checking to make sure I was okay during my donation. They made my first experience an amazing one. I will continue to donate because you can tell they care!
I've donated with several companies over the years and now am a CSL loyalist. The staff at this location genuinely care about the donor's comfort and safety. Michael especially knows the ropes, taking the time to monitor and adjust the equipment to individual needs averaging a 20 minute improved donation VS other phlebotomists.
This place is hot garbage now wasn't bad when I first started coming here as of 2024 avoide if you can afford it the staff here unprofessional there a lot of other places to donate that deserve your time don't settle for bottom of the barrel
It's the best fast efficient, courteous service. The staff is absolutely wonderful, it is the only business that I have noticed their is absolutely no conflict between client to client or client to staff. Thanks for such a wonderful experience in donating!!!
Tonight gets 2 stars which is 100% improvement over my visit 2 weeks ago which got a well deserved 1 star. All of the staff tonight were very nice, professional, and courteous.
The federal way CSL location is by far the worst!!! I used to donate here weekly and never will I return here again. The staff in front are usually nice but some of phlebotomists in back were almost always rude and rough on my arms. I've made several complaints online and to management at this facility for their lack of compassion for those who donate. DO NOT DONATE HERE!!!! UNTRAINED AND UNDERSTAFFED!!!!
Very kind and respectful especially Koran she's wonderful and efficient when it comes to sticking
I went and donated for the first time and overall, I would give this location a 3-star experience. Everyone was helpful and plesant. Intake was quite a process, which was to be expected. What I thought could be improved is having sanitizer available at more locations (i.e. video/computer desks, exam room, the other intake room) because it doesnt appear to me that commonly touched areas are wiped down frequently. The staff in the donation room area, I observed are quick to wipe down stations and flip it for
Was my first time donating and was a bit scared. When I got there immediately I saw how clean it was. Staff was very professional. It was pretty quick getting in there and I was paid immediately after process. Thanks CSL can't wait to donate again.
I've donated multiple times in the last month and a half. Overall very good experiences. Nice and friendly staff. Specifically the women that disconnected me a few times Laura she was very nice and helpful. Will be donating more!
So far everyone there is great people are nice they are clean they do there jobs right i enjoy going there. Helping myself get over my needle fears. One thing I didnt like is that I live 30min away on the freeway going back and forth and gas is problem right now being as high as it is. I got told my protein was to low and to come back the next day seriously so I waited a day because I have to have a friend with me to drive me back home.. when I went back that's when I got told It would be a week before i ca
I got there at opening on a Sunday. It took 4 hours just to finally get in the back. Beyond that it was an okay experience. I'm pretty sure the hold up in getting screened was one of the techs friends were there and seemed to have gotten priority over me even though I was the first up at the new donor counter and first checked in.
More or less the same as most other donation centers. Be prepared to spend a few hours on your first donation. Bring a book or a friend and make sure your electric devices are fully charged. After the first donation be prepared to spend anywhere from 45 mins to an hour and a half. When the back end gets backed up the front end slows down to give them a chance to catch up. Unfortunately this may happen often. If they are short handed or everyone shows up at once the front end will trickle the clients through
Easily the worst place I've ever donated before. 3 different employees reviewed my documents then they made me wait around for almost 2 hours before they decided to tell my proof of address won't work and I need to leave. So I went yo BioLife and they had me in and out within 2 hours using the same information I tried at CSL. This location is staffed by complete idiots who don't care at all about the people donating here. Needless to say I will probably never donate at CSL again especially this location.
Most of the times I have been there, they are short staffed, and after finishing at the kiosk I have to wait 20-45 minutes to have my vitals taken and finger pricked. Then 5 to 15 minutes later I get to a bed. Eventually someone comes over to hook up the equipment, but I have to wait for the one person going around to each person and inputting the needle. It takes me an hour to hour and a half to get poked with the needle and donate. 40 to 45 minutes from when I am poked to unhooked and allowed to leave. I
I have been coming here twice a week for over a year with no problems until today. I wanted to switch my donation days from Fridays and Sundays to Mondays and Wednesdays. Every other time that I have had to change my donation days, I have been told to (and been able to) switch them by skipping the second donation day. I did that. I skipped Sunday and came Monday. I specifically expressed that I wanted to make the change and got confirmation that my next donation day was Wednesday the 13th with the person wh
Wasted several hours of my time & multiple trips to reinstate donor status after 8 months of not donating. Operations needs some consistent process improvement & consistent employee education of such ... which a Supervisor or Manager is well versed on & enforces ... keeping in mind good customer service / relations goes a long way toward customers returning & leaving good reviews. As a medical office administrator & operations manager myself ... with focus on consistent process improvement & staff educati
Kiran does the best! She's so gentle and very kind! Clean facility and kind staff!
They are very strict, i understand not wanting people who strongly smell of body odor (sweat, pee and stuff like that) but denying people because they smell like deodorant or perfume is ridiculous
I come here to donate when ever they have promotions or when I need to make some quick easy money. Everything is super straight forward. Everyone seems to know what they're doing. I've never had an issue here. Feels good to know I am donating plasma helping people in need while making a side income.
Kat is a great phlebotomist, and I know I'm a very hard stick. Today I donated in 32 min with Kat's stick, vs. 65 min the day before yesterday. Kat is also very sweet and professional! Give her a raise! Clint Guerrero, Federal Way, WA
My first time at this location and I can't say enough how efficient the donation was. Nathan, Aleena and Caitlin were pleasant and experienced. Keep it up and Kudos ??
Nathan is by far the most unprofessional ?medical professional? And I use that term very loosely for people like him who are just given a white coat and no ethical training on how to conduct themselves working in any type of medical setting. Coming from somebody that actually works in the real medical field there is a way and manner you conduct yourself and have conversations with your recipient or patient. Like I told him if you need to speak with somebody use your mouth there is no need to put your hand i
I'm an experienced donor and my first time donating with CSL went far more smoothly and quickly than my previous experience with another company I used to donate with, every single employee that was involved in my new journey was very nice and friendly, im glad I made my switch ??.
Kiran she stick me today she did awesome job . It's not even hurting and she is best
Came in today, seemed busy and unorganized. Stood at the counter for about 10 minutes no employees batted an eye to me or asked if I was being helped. Atmosphere was off, lots of people here who seemed to be there to fund drug addiction.
Kiran was very friendly, great sticking made me feel very comfortable
I came on a friday right when they opened and had to wait an hour just to get rejected because she couldn't feel my veins. Then they told me I'm dehydrated when in reality, I drink tons of water. Will not be coming back to this location. The lady who couldn't 'find' my veins was pretty rude also. For the record I am a CNA and after I left the facility I checked and could easily find my veins. She did not try very hard.
The service is just bad these days here. I have been told completely wrong payment prices, seen the beds not wiped down and sanitized when busy, and today was my final straw when I had a coupon and two employees did not know the answer nor were going to look for a simple answer with a manager. Coming from extensive customer service, I always teach people it is ok to not have an answer, but to simply not look or guess an answer (which they were doing) is unacceptable. I can not possibly be the only one who
Worst place I've ever been staff are incompetent and bad at their job what should have been a 1 hour trip turned to 4 hours because they talking amongst each other than the actual donor and the pay is confusing
Great staff, they are very friendly. It takes a while to get back into a seat but nothing they can't handle! Never been to any other facility!
This place is so unsanitary! I CAN'T BELIEVE they don't change their gloves in between donors. The phlebotomist who stuck me said they aren't required to because all donors say they don't have diseases. So what protects me from becoming cross--contaminated after they stick a brand new donor on whom they have never run any lab work, then they come to stick me? I literally just watched THE NURSE just pick garbage OFF THE FLOOR, then grab the handles of the cart they push around then go stick someone. Who know
This location is really great. Friendly staff, clean facility, mask enforcement, and they really try their best to get you in and out. I love coming here!
Kiran is amazing. Always so friendly and her sticks are the best.
As a person that s an honest donor,. Meaning this is not something I have to do,. I will not be back and I do not recommend csl for anyone and I will rate has no stars. 0 rating. Thank you have a nice day.
One of the best places I been to donate. Everyone is friendly and got jokes. Cat is awesome, one of my favs and the best when it comes to plugging you up. Definitely worth the visit.
Very well established facility with several sophisticated, kind, outgoing, & caring employees that are going to extreme lengths making us donors feel as if we are home; aswell as completing they're tasks to the extent of themselves being on the opposite side of the donation procedure in ones shoes. Thank You So Much EVERYONE!!!!!
I DONT like the federal way location Everytime I go there my blood pressure is thru the roof and it's gotta be the staff of the atmosphere cuz no
Amazing experience, Kiran is the best and she knows what she's doing, incredible friendly and professional
Laura is the best I've ever seen! Sabina is amazing too!
For the most part my experiences have been positive. The biggest negative is the inconsistency of their structure. There is so much fluxuation in the staff and how much time it takes from when you walk through the door. I have donated 21 times but it wasn't until the 22nd time that I found out that I am a hard stick and that a senior phlebotimist is supposed to start my pump. I have to suggest that stats should be gathered for each donor showing their fastest draw, slowest draw, etc and which staff member
Kiran and Becky are awesome, barely noticed I was jabbed. Great ppl, great place
Kiran , tavuon , coral , ayda , hanim and songul love them . They are so friendly and helpful. I love to donate thos place only Ok
I have always had a great experience here. People are friendly very helpful and explain the plasma donation process to you. As well as answering any questions you may have. Clean environment ???????? great atmosphere highly recommend!
Great service and great environment! Clean, fast, and good pay. Best donation center
Very friendly staff really clean center I always stuck by Brycen and always do very smooth donations
As most people have said yes very slow unorganized. They use numbers to determine where you should donate and expect for donors to read the small numbers on the bottom half of the beds. When there is only two sections even though there's room for about 3 or 4 sections. Why dont they color coordinate it all and have it plastered high up on the wall with tape and construction paper. Instead of saying numbers just say "your going to the pink, blue, green, or red section that way people are not going on a scave
Great place to donate plasma the staff is very friendly and they really explain in detail about donating I just started donating 9-10-21 I didn't know what to expect but once I got to start donating it went pretty fast and after the wt donation the process is 10times faster and they pay pretty good especially your first few donations so if you are healthy and wanna help a great cause and wanna make some extra money I highly recommend that you call or walk in and learn more and start donating plasma Dwayne m
Staff are very helpful, friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Site is clean and in good condition. My first time at CSL Plasma at federal way was very pleasant and smooth.
Kiran is awesomeness!! I'm so happy when she pokes me.
Would not recommend this place if you work in any capacity of emergency response. I was removed from the new donor program because I was unable to donate for 3 weeks as I was responding to the state's flooding and landslides. Not sorry. Other facilities paying more. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.
Great place great employees. The only negative is employee Micheal, bad attitude and sometimes treats clients like he's better than them. They should infract him for poor workplace attitude.
...Well, where do we start?... I'll start with Ms. Abby. Ms. Abby has a problem with protecting donors, staff, and herself from Covid-19. She invited me to a booth another donor just left without cleaning it. I asked her to follow protocol and as she began spraying, she felt it necessary to "educate" me on how covid is spread. "Covid is spread at home with small gatherings, not in here." I know that is so far from the truth. I have a problem with such severe disregard for life at a "life saving plasma cente
Y'all need to pay returning donors more. How are y'all gonna bribe new people to come in and then give the regulars who donate twice a week a measley $40?! Especially with how much y'all get for our plasma!! Disgusting. Everyone should be going to biomat or anywhere else.
Tayvon is the best at sticking me. I always have a fast and easy donations when she does
They destroyed my veins on purpose
I wear a cochlear implant.. Two people made it really difficult when communicating.. The video they had didnt have closed caption.. They provided headphones but it goes inside ur ears. They denied me because I take eye drops.. It took the lady almost 30 mins for her to say you cant come ba k for another 4 weeks. My medication isnt on the list..
Never enough people on staff, staff does work hard just never enough of them to keep up. Vitals is usually the slowest and an efficiency nightmare. 1 star, there is work to be done.
Easy commute, very clean, comfortable, and fast yet efficient process
The staff is super friendly and make the place feel inviting but they are really understaffed and because of the you have to wait alot longer, they only have like 24 beds and the seams to be to much with how many ppl they have because they DONT WIPE the beds down after ppl leave!!!!! That's gross ??
I love coming here the staff is great! I'm usually in and out, great way to just get get some Money In your pocket while helping people others that lack plasma??!!
Everyone working there at this time is awesome! I rate it a double plus good and a 5 star! Very efficient and friendly.
I have been donating plasma for 22 years, 6+ at this CSL. I came in twice a week for 3.5 weeks just so I could get their big bonus. During this time I donated with the prior arm I used having bruising and redness, a d I had been able to donate no problem. This 7th time a very new screener noticed the slightest redness on the arm I wasn't using and deferred me. I asked for management and was told management can't over ride the nurse. He was no nurse. Upon further review he is a CNA with a bachelor's degree i
The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and patient. They are truly masters of thier craft, and I rarely feel much pain when they stick me with the needle.
All the people their are very friendly Kiran listened to me blithering on lol good people
Kiran and becky the are best . And in the morning they work so fast and always stick me best
I like to come here. I never have any problems. Catherine is my favorite . Shes good at her job.
Kiran she is best and friendly phleb everyone is best here but she is my favorite ??
Had some needle stick problems last year when I started. But no problems since. Staff are nice.
I was a bit nervous the first time but they all made me feel relaxed...and the second time I was in and out quickly?? great staff!
Premium phlebotomist work from Kiran & Avery, smooth draw with no problems, clear and coherent, solid work
Customer service is no longer a priority here. If you have a question good luck getting someone on the phone. And if you do "HOLD PLEASE"!
Kiran partner speaker very good and efficient worker very happy with her performance
I love going there Michelle is so friendly and polite and the Pregnant Lady is the gentlest with her pokes... I think her name starts with S...
I was sent an email the had a coupon to use in the Center I showed everyone when i got there I was told it was good to use come back to show it to the nurses after you're done i did so upon leaving i was told if you don't see it in ten minutes call back i did so also just for you guys to tell me i can't use it that's some coward and manipulative things to do..Do better CSL
The have terrible equipment, they differ you for their equipment issues. They cut their hours so they aren't open late enough for working people. Not enough staff, long lines, just terrible.
Kiran she us best phleb. She always nice and smiley
Everyone was so professional and personable even though I had a wait. Kiran rocked
Linda is the best and kind one! My respect to her and her job performance ????
This place is ghetto as hell only goid thing is the donation is faster than biomat. About the prizes they give away. Pfft dont get your hopes up. By how ghetto most of the workers seem and how sloppy in general they are i wouldn't be surprised if they split the prizes with the workers instead of the donors. They seem sketchy like that you never hear of a donor winning.
Great staff friendly always pretty quick in & out. Catherine is my favorite person their always positive & cheerful...promote her.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
