Quick and easy I have noticed a staff change. Been coming for years. Most part try and get you in and out unless a lot of people come at the same time. You can only Donate 2x a week 1st 4 donations it's $100 per donation After that they have a calendar in the front. For example one month it will be like 1st week donation it's $50. Next donation in the same week will be $70. (I included the calendar example) !!!To maximize money go 2x in one week!!! Once you finish donation you wil be paid about 30min- 1

10 January 2025, have an appointment for 8:00 a.m. get here in the place is closed! No signs on the door, nobody call me and let me know that the appointments will be canceled. Nada. What are left earlier on my trip had I have known. Not at all courteous to look at your appointment book and not notify the people who have appointments you're not going to be there!

Update: try and avoid Samantha if you can. She tried crying her wyt-woman syndrome tears and tried to get me deferred?she's a big joke?no pun intended? Been to the Garland center in and out for almost a year and it's better than other local centers by overall cleanliness, faster process, and better WiFi. Any time I get on the machine i love the professionalism of the team and the continuity of the grifols technician customer service Maria Destiny Alison and Janet always make me feel respect and like my concerns are addressed and that my requests are met. I just want to say a special thanks to Mr Saba for making me feel like a hero and for having such a family feel to the place. Be aware of risk involved. My arm was bruise for two weeks, not able to donate and you don't get compensated for the pain. Etc that's why you sign a lot of forms before donating. In my case the needle wasn't inserted right and a big ball of blood formed on my arm for at least 10 minutes painfully. I originally didn't know if that was normal or not. Understandable mistakes happen but in my case the lady just goof off and didn't check her patient physically. Three starts bc I did get 100 my 4 first donation

If you do decide to go, I recommend that you recommend D.J, he's the most attentive and the most consistent by far! He's fast yet thorough when it comes to the donor process always professional, so 5 stars for him!

2nd time coming I was sat in lobby to ?wait on Samantha? who walked past me multiple times, screened 2 new donors before me then sat an joked around before someone else told her ?don't forget about that guy? which she replied ?what guy? I literally sat there N hour waiting for her which never came so someone else had to get me screened it like this a a joke

Fast and easy. If finished with the questionnaire, I can usually be in and out in an hour. (Friendly people, clean, very professional.)

Nice facility but it is always understaffed and/or the staff isn't in any hurry to get you screened. You can sit in the lobby for over an hour with only 8 to 10 people in the lobby, wow. Edit, this photo will show you exactly what I mean, a full lobby and only 2 screeners working, unbelievable.

I would have given this place 5 stars because of all the great people there, but for the past few weeks I've been going there is this one lady that doesn't know how to stick. So no now my arm is bruised because she didn't stick me right so they had to go into the other arm and bruised it. So now if I can't donate next week because I'm bruised and it's all her fault, I'm just screwed. I will never let her stick me again.

I've been donating plasma for years. It's a great way to earn money and you also feel good knowing you're helping out people who desperately need your plasma for life saving medical products. This location is great. It's clean, fast and safe.

Most Staff is awesome, certain attitudes ( see Albert Valdez review) are unprofessional but wait time and processing super inconvenient. Computer consoles are normally available to all. At this location you have to wait for staff to give you a tablet. Wait time could be better and processing.

I've been coming to this this location for the past few years and I've had a great experience everytime. They have always worked with me on whatever the issue was I was having if I couldn't donate if I ever had one. Otherwise I've always had a great experience.

I don't see why they have 4.5 stars. I have been treated poorly most of the times I have been to Biomat / Griffol's Plasma Center in Garland. I've been very patient with them and tolerated poor behavior on many occasions. Today was my last visit. They will be dismissive and interrupt you while you are speaking. I wanted to like this place so much! The people are very friendly and have improved the time of donating greatly. But Recently there hasn't been enough technicians so they are overloaded. It really effects their quality of work. The girl that was my tech was overloaded and she bruised me so bad it took 3 weeks before the bruise went away. Every time I come to this place they give me a problem. Their system is flawed. I answered my questions and it never told me on the app to go see management but when I came in I'm a new donor but you don't get the new doner fee. You can't say I'm a new donor and not get the fee. This is the 4th time I came up here And wasted my time.

I used to like this place; however, it really seems to have started going down hill recently. I used to donate quite often for the extra cash and good it did for helping cure some diseases. There is one lady in particular who give me attitude every single time we cross paths. I'm not sure if she has something against the way I look or what but she always treats me with disrespect and gives off negative attitude. I appreciate the staff at this location! Tia specifically came to my rescue last week. There was a slight mix up with the printed labels. She caught the honest mistake of another employee and volunteered to correct as well as make me feel comfortable again because I was tad nervous following the matter. Looked great from the reviews, when I walk in the bald white guy was answering a good question on the phone of when their pay week starts and ends and answers it with an eye roll. He greeted me horribly and rolled his eyes when I said I wanted to be a new donor. I told him never mind and walked out. You are customer service if you are at that front desk and it was horrible and rude service.

Always super fast. On days when they're very short staffed I waited maybe 45 minutes to get stabbed, but that is still faster than my fastest day at other plasma places I had been to before. My typical day usually takes me just under an hour from the time I park to the time I leave and the staff is always super friendly and efficient.

I love to donate knowing I'm helping someone fight life's challenges. I love this location because everyone here is so nice and helpful and they all get along with each other and look like they enjoy their job unlike other plasma places I've been. I showed up 2 hours early like they instructed me to do when I called. I came in 2.5 hours ahead of time and the front desk was rude and told me they wouldn't see me. I was the last person in line waiting to be acknowledged. She said I would take too long to see and they opened up at 7A and to come back. Don't tell people to come 2 hrs early and then turn them away.

Whoever does the scheduling needs to look outside their office. It is ridiculous to ask 2 people to work hard while one wonders around looking for a file with a manager. I make an appointment at 8 and felt bad for being two minutes late. An hour and ten minutes later I get to start donating? Now if there were a lot of people, or more than 10 in this entire building I could understand. But there's not. Vashnti is a hard worker always at work help others in need when ever someone doesn't stick me right she's always there to help me have a successful donation she always has a smile and a positive vibe every time I come and donate I want her to move up positions to supervisor or give her a wage raise she's a very good co worker with every one she has 2 years already working for biomat and Im wishing her for many more years working at biomat in Garland. Just like Walmart. All theses stalls and only 1 open. Takes 10x longer then it has to bc they never have enough staff, the staff they do have spend more time taking and wondering around than anything else. Used to be my favorite place, has quickly went down.

Well its 7:24 am on Friday the 13th, 2023, and i have driven about 6 miles to grifols as a new donor to begin donating. Keep in mind i called earlier in the week to double check on everything i needed to bring and was required of me before my first donation. I asked when they open she said 7 am. So to my surpirse today, i get here just after 7 am and the lone gentleman doing finger sticks conveys to me that he is there by himself and wont be doing new donors registration until 9:40 am. Grifols Biomat USA has been a great experience for me. The staff is always on point and willing to help with any questions. The quality of service here is absolutely incredible. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here. If your new to donating, you will definitely feel comfortable.

The quality of service has gone downhill fast over the last several months. The employees here are extremely unprofessional and lazy. Be prepared to wait because they are almost always "short staffed" and will get to you when they feel like it... especially when management team is out of office. Very fast I'm always in and out. The workers a super friendly. As a new donor it only took 2 hours which is super fast compared to other places I have donated(4-6 hours process) now that I am a return donor I donate in 50mins to an hour that's including the kiosk screening and donation process itself. I absolutely love this location.

Edit June 2023: I have been so disappointed with Biomat lately. Wait time are horrible and staff just doesn't really care. I've decided to try another plasma donation center not very far from this area. Biomat has dropped the ball Well lit, clean and a very friendly staff. Dahlia and D were the best. Tonight was my first time, everything was clearly explained and easy to understand. Very pleasant experience.

Convenient location and nearly everyone is very kind, courteous and professional. Ife, Mo, Farrin Sam, and Cortrez are THE BEST. This place has really turned around from a few months ago. In my experience Biomat is one of the best plasma donation centers in the area. Easy money with some friendly staff. You can have a bit of a wait from time to time, but they do the best they can. You can't complain when the money is that easy! Place is clean as well

I only give 2 stars and not 1 star because I survived. This place is slower than sloths. Techs take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to acknowledge I'm standing in front of them with a question. And don't call b/c they refuse to pick up. This place is not worth the time/compensation. An hour appt takes 3 hours minimum. 2 thumbs down.

Just finished my first donation, and had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and walked me through the process. As I said, this my first donation, and looking forward to returning. The money is a lovely bonus, and setting up the card they gave me was super easy.

Don't go. So slow. The staff is friendly but other than that it's very understaffed and has a high turn over. I've been donating for two years and it's only getting worse. Problem with the high turn over is that the new people are constantly practicing on sticking you and messing up. It's happened to my friend and I like 5 times.

I am really upset , today is the third time they don't put the correct money amount on my card. Today I called to speak with the manager. spoke with Harrison and told him my issue, and he said please hold I will get her for you . Left me on the phone for 10 mins. I hung up and called back, he said they will add the correct amount, I they said so she is going to add, but didn't have the decency to pick up the phone. You just lost a good client.

Extremely professional staff, very knowledgeable about certain aspects of donating, including ways to maintain one hemcret, and protein levels. I work 120 hour work weeks in a level 1 triage center. Being able to get in and out is a major factor for me being on call 24/7 both for security and medical emergencies it is difficult for me to find a place to donate plasma.

I love Griffils biomat USA .the workers are amazing and funny . Sam , Trez and Alex are bright lights that shine as soon as you recognize them. It's a nice clean environment . Everything is easy and speedy . And you get paid to help another individual.

I've been donating for over a year and now it's very slow. Short staffed. Too many donors and not enough people working. I love the people, but it's like managers don't work there they just want to sit in office.

Had my first experience on Monday 10/30/17 and it wad great. I was there about 2 1/2 hours from beginning to end. The first time takes a little time due to needing to be put in the system and going through all the checks. My actual plasma donation took 41 minutes. I'll return tomorrow 11/2 for my second time. You can donate 2X a week.

Most of the staff are rude and have an attitude. They talk to each other about inappropriate stuff and just act like the client is not right in front of them. Only one person that I interacted with in the end actually talked to me and made me feel like a human being. The process to donate is so fragmented, and I feel this contributes to the long wait times. They ask you to verify your name and last four of your social, but they aren't looking at the information! I've donated 5 times now and each time I've had a good experience. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I used to go to Octopharma and I swore I would never donate again. I'm glad I tried this place though. Your first visit expect to spend 3 hours there. But on return visits it will be like an hour to an hour and a half visit. The new donor fees are awesome. You can make $250 in 2 weeks as a new donor going 2x a week.

2 stars only because of the cleanliness of the facility. Has gone down hill since they've gotten rid of appointments. I've been a donor since the place opened and I used to be able to arrive at 5:30 PM and be screened and in the back waiting to donate by 6PM. Now it'll take maybe an hour before even getting on the kiosk. Add another hour to make it to the donation bed. Fix it .

This location is wonderful! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very personable. They make it easy to donate weekly because of their kindness.

This place is so freaking slow. The previous plasma center I donated at (BioLife) definitely set a bar that this place will never reach. It is ghetto as hell, dirty, and unorganized. The only reason I gave this place a 3 star review is because they have never stuck me bad and the pay is decent. Other than that, I can't ever get in and out of this place in less that 2 hours.

I donated plasma here for about a month or more and my visits were always quick and everyone was so friendly and sweet. I loved chatting with the 3 shorter girls that all look like sisters and I always preferred to be stuck by Megan W. or Momadue because it was so much smoother and gentle. The only reason I stopped going was because I became pregnant, but I will look to going back hopefully beginning of 2020 because I love this location and everyone in it.

They're good at everything but one thing telling you if your protein levels get low its supposed to be between 6.0 to 9.0 to donate they let me get down to a 4.5. An now I have to wait 3 weeks to donate again due to protein levels taking forever to go back up. Been donating plasma at several location over the past year this is the first one I have had an issue with.

I've been going to Biomat for more than a year. Staff does their best to get me in and out in the shortest possible time, even when they are very busy. They welcome me by name each visit. Even in tough times they do right by their donors.

I was a loyal donor here for two years. One night when I went to donate, the staff decided to pull me into counseling room #6 and accuse me of cross donating. Like seriously! I DO NOT CROSS DONATE! I have donated at other places in other cities and this is the most professional... BY FAR THE FASTEST bc they aren't as busy for whatever reason I'm not sure... they compensate the most and instead of the payments going down after your first 10 donations THEY GO UP (silver level) and then up again on the 3rd (gold) level. Referrals are 100 for each donor after their 2nd donation and your 2nd after they were referred. Wi-Fi is legit and hasn't kicked me off once. Payments are available to withdraw immedia

Dam near died there!!! I really don't like to donate because you never know who's a good sticker and who isn't, anything can go wrong! Great place to make some extra cash. Staff is always cool and sweet. Expect to be waiting awhile though, but I usually always make sure I'm prepared for it.

As far as cleanliness they are great, but when it comes to the well being if the donor they rush. I've donated about 6 times there and I've been cut at least 3 times from them yanking the needle out my arm. I would recommend CSL Plasma (my original donation place) my reason being they treat the donors with more passion and care about the way we feel with the donation procedures. They also prick your finger really hard everytime to check your blood. All in all they are really rough when working with the dono

It takes an average of 3 to 4 hours to go through fornmost people. They told me to set an appointment to come in and when i get there im told its walk in only. In the amount of time it take to make it to the chair i could set an appointment at biolife in tyler texas drive there donate and almost make it back. Unacceptable

I got a email saying that if i donated 4 times in march i would get a $100 bonus. I had no idea i was suppost to show them the email of this bonus. So when i got home from donating i called them because i noticed i didnt get the $100 bonus. Worst place i have been to recently got a txt stating we missed you get 150 to donate. Since its been so long since i donated. Had to do the new donor routine all over again they are slow new donors here are at the back of the line not like other places where u get treated first. No wonder why i stopped coming here.

If you're in the process of moving, they will literally waste half your visits with policy bs, difficult if you live a mobile home/rv lifestyle and they're unwilling to work with those in such circumstances that can't change their address every move or aren't around long enough to warrant it. 3 or my 6 visits were a waste of time, energy and gas to be denied for bs reasons. I want to donate for others benefit, but it shouldn't be this ridiculously hard for those that can donate and are willing to.

Came in to donate. Came from a previous center. Wanted me to fill out all the paperwork again. I went from first in line to about 12. Staff obviously don't give af about time constraints. WILL NOT RETURN.

Since this particular location started the sign in have a seat process it has been a total inconvenience. Shortage of staff is the main problem, throughout the whole process from beginning to end I have been a donor for almost 2 years and I believe by the end of this year it will be my last until this problem is fixed

No response from Biomat...Not surprised.. I started donating at the Garland location since late October 2020 and as of February 2nd, I donated 9 times in 2021 and total of 26 donations. I considered CC-19 donor or the VIP donor which never worked. I called the corporate office few times in the past and asked that someone call me and explain the bonus amount for month of January 2021, but, no one ever called me and the corporate office closed both tickets. My name is Rhunda Mixon and I am very upset because those blood pressure cuff are too small for my arm and hurt really bad and it applies pressure for at least 45 to 50 seconds before it releases causing pain and an inaccurate reading. These cuff are cause individuals to not be able to donate or may I say deferred because of a inaccurate reading. That unfair to the donor as well as the high demand for plasma donations.

I am very disdisappointthat they offer a Buddy Bonus Referral, offering a $50 on the 2nd and 4th donation. Yet, that is not true. I did not get mine, supposedly because its "different " months. But yet it's the same bonus. NOT COOL !!

I've been to this location multiple times I usually come In the morning because the afternoon team works really slow and most of the workers have an attitude. I came to donate August 2nd and I received on $25 they told me it's a new month so it starts over, I came again August 6th and they only gave me $25 again and they said the same things.

I have been donating for several years I had some real concerns about Biomats "Pride in donors" due to bad "work culture" at last location. I have been donating at this location for about two months now. All of the staff Eva, Abbby, Derek, "MamaDo" are all just "awesome" they truly understand Biomats "Pride in donor" mission statement Other centers should use this "model". Fifth star will come later I'm very sure of that!!!!

I was deferred 3 times in a month for a week each time, come to find that I was being screened wrong and when I asked about compensation for the inconvenience I was given $10, I wasn't able to donate for 3 $90 donations from THEIR MISTAKE, resulting in a loss of $270 not including the donate 10 times in 60days $200 bonus that I cannot claim because I will not be able to donate 10 times due to this. THIS WAS THEIR MISTAKE AND ON THEM TO MAKE IT RIGHT, THEY DIDNT!! I will not be returning
