DRESS CODE TO DONATE PLASMA IS DIABOLICAL!!!!!!!!! I came here to transfer from Dallas but they are going to ask if I have a shirt in my car cos I had a tank on. They have a dress code. What da HELLY Berry? If you don't have a three piece agbada or sari or a full ragalia/robe in your closet don't go there. Never heard of a dress code in my years of donating. Well this is your loss. I'm in demand and I'll go else where. I highly doubt NOT recommend.
I've been donating here for 10 years now, and I have to say they made major improvements. The staff here has the backbone to get the procedure done the right way. The machines are better, and the check in process is easier. Don't listen to the other reviews... It was a whole lot harder back then.
Boy oh boy, Carrol or Karol however you spell her name, everything she said to me could?ve been nicer and more professional. Knowing me, how anxious and concerned I can get, I kept asking what was wrong cause there shouldn't be this whole hassle with me donating today. She then proceeded to tell me, ?Sir, If I didn't answer you the first time I am not gonna answer you the second time?. From a CSL Employee to a donor, don't waste your time coming here.
Would not recommend. I had a jacket on for my visit with a crop top on underneath. The old white lash said she would not service me because of the crop top. I called another place to see if that is a true policy and ITS NOT. Very weird people and they make you feel uncomfortable
I was a new donor at this place and im not really sure what she was doing but the needle stick was extremely painful, already have a fear of needles and it was a 17g which made me nervous from the start of it. As well as she tapped my needle down like a 5 year old with really long and tacky looking strips ,then the machine started making werid sounds that I never heard before. My return was burning with no salien it didn't feel like that the first time at all it was completely different and painless to say,
I've donated before but this was the fastest center to start at. A great monthly incentive in place right now, I don't think I would return after the special is over because they pay less than other centers normally. Staff in the front were a bit awkward and super judgmental, at one point made me very uncomfortable, however the ones in the back were pleasant. Aside from personal feelings they were thorough with their work. I guess it just depends on the day!
I've been coming here over 12 years off and on. I have to say they move the slowest in getting people in and out. They have the worst attitudes about the job that they applied for. They get in they feelings and differ people for the wrong reasons. New machines but they barely know how to work them. On top of waiting in line for 30 minutes to an hour due to them being short handed or just working slow. If times wasn't as hard as they are I would stop coming all together. Sad! Fix it Jesus!
The staff are too busy complaining and socializing to actually pay attention to the clients. The staff is rude and unprofessional. I would drive 30 mins away than deal with them again. At first I thought it was a bad day but after a month I found that the employees hate it there and don't care who knows
You are not professional at all. You have never been, and you will never be because you simply don't care. You deleted my review from my other email account and that's very unprofessional too. It is sad that you claim to be Americans, and that America let you down from its foundation, but you only want to destroy America. I am American and I love my country. You don't love your country.
Center told me come back the next day because of low protein. Came back, then was told I'm differed for 7days. Waste of time & gas, wasn't compensated.
They got a old lady Infront , being rude for no reason . Mad cuz the computer stopped the video n then gon say I was on the phone whole time I wasn't . She just wanted someone to pick on
Had a really great experience, nice atmosphere. Keyuhna was very sweet and welcoming when we did my screening.
Terrible service. Today is October 2nd 2024. Wednesday morning. The male employee decided to spill my blood on the floor. He deserves to get fired immediately. He was in booth number 3. Later on the female on booth number 1 simply decided to be disrespectful. Those 2 employees deserve to be fired today. Update: Female supervisor or manager said that employees are above the donors.
My first time coming here i had a nice experience the staffs were very nice and the lines move faster. I will continue coming to this location from now on than the oak cliff area.
Due water infection is closed, until further notice. The notice is by the staff door, no by the donors door. No complains, nice staff always.
Attempted to visit twice at the grand prairie location and several of the staff were incredibly rude both times without me having said a word. Won't be back. There are plenty of other companies.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I would rate this location a zero if it was possible! As a new donor this experience was absolutely horrible. I go in up in as a new donor and the lady in the triage area tells me to go and stand by the computer. I'm standing and waiting and waiting and standing. So I go around to look at the sign in and It shows that I Left! Wow! I standing watching idk how many people look me in my face! Never again will I go this place
This place is terrible and the CEO OF CSL PLASMAS CENTERS NEED TO COME OUT TO CERTAIN LOCATIONS BECAUSE THIS LOCATION IS TERRIBLE. THE WORKS DONT INIW HOW TO WORK THE NEW MACHINES SO ITS 1 ROW OF MACHINES WHICH IS KIKE 10-15 BEDS DO YOU GUYS KNOW HOW LONG THAT WILL TAKE FOR EACH PERSON TO DONATE ??........NO WAY EBERY VIDIT IS MORE THEN 2 HOURS LONG. HERE IT IS CHRISTMAS EVE AND THE LOBBY HAS OVER 80 PEOPLE WAITING TO GET SCREENED AND DONATE. THIS WORKERS ARE TOO COMFORTABLE AND FRIENDLY TO THE POINT WHERE
Lines have Been constantly outrageous! It's taking me 2 hours plus every time I donate. Staff always have attitude and are constantly arguing with each other making things very uncomfortable.
One of the highest paying donation centers I've been to but also the worst when it comes to atmosphere, cleanliness, and overall service. The employees here do not take their jobs seriously whatsoever. I'm not one to be strict or have people on a leash at all but everyone here jokes and plays around like they're in high school.
This place was in so much disarray. All of the workers were literally playing around and talking loud as if they were kids on a playground. I drove 30 minutes from were I was just to be told I couldn't donate because My iron was low even though I took my medicine, drank almost an entire gallon of water, and ate before showing up! I do the same routine everytime I go donate and have never had that problem until visiting this location. I honestly believe the gal at the booth didn't know what she was doing an
Been donating for 14 years and never, before now, had a company cut prices like this! Because of restructuring I'm losing $68 a month from what I've been getting! Going to where they pay more!
I definitely wish I could leave zero stars. I have never seen so many grown adults laugh play n talk the way they do at his facility. There is nothing wrong with enjoying your work space and talking to ppl.but why are u gossiping when u have a lobby full of ppl . Instead of working to get the line down.and their mane focus is to get as many ppl in those donation chairs as possible while u have 4-5 ppl that's done donating and ready for them to dc them. They just walking around doing nothing. I mean our a
Update 07/06: Only use the bathrooms if you're in a pinch. If you suggest something needs to be fixed or is dirty, nothing is done. Im not sticking my fingers in a roll of toilet paper just because you won't get the holder fixed. And if you come late in the day, they get snippy, rude and give you attitude. Original post: As a transfer from my previous location, it went smoothly and so did my donation. I'll be honest, I saw the reviews and I hope the rest of my donations don't become worse. The only thing
Love this location! I've had a very minor bump at this location, which is the reason for 4 stars but not enough to leave a bad review. The staff, is amazing compared to the location in NRH, who treated me like a speck of dirt and poked me like a practice doll. Every time I go here, they're always talking to and laughing with everyone from employees to donors and even makes sure the donors are comfortable and well cared for. Thank you to the wonderful staff for doing a good job everytime.
If I could rate a 0 I would unfortunately. The staff have no customer service skills, unethical, and surprisingly racist unless you know some one working at this facility...prepare to be there minimum 4 hours on your first donation. I sat and watched people I guess friends of staff members cut in front of other people without even having to go thru the entire process of checking their vitals. The lady with the long braids in booth 2 on April 21st to be exact...you can run cameras...if you Hispanic or White.
They're always deferring people for high temperatures. Their thermometers need to be calibrated more often. This is not okay.
There is no control or organization. There's never enough workers. If your line is outside, why are there only 2 people. Management needs to do better. They sit and chit chat. Unapologetic. Not enough people? Put up a help wanted sign. It's ridiculous.
Edit: Staffing is much better, and so is training. I alternate between GP and Ft. Worth. Love them both! I've been donating at this location for years, and typically it's a great experience. I usually enjoy the staff and have no problems with the procedure or facility. Lately though, I have been having more and more issues when it's time to donate. Initially it was just the employees who were getting sick or having to be home that caused a reduction of open hours. Now, they're without a staff nurse. That su
People at the front are absolutely rude and unprofessional. Got onto my girlfriend and said she had a reading problem because she didn't understand the stuff on the intake paperwork. Proceeded to get her to the point of crying because of how rude she was being. Also proceeded to say she was a transgender. Even though she is a woman and was born a woman. Will not be coming back here and we walked out before even finishing the starting video.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was told I can't donate because I'm taking a medication THATS NOT ON THEIR LIST but because I don't have a specific diagnosis for my medication. This place is a joke. I am going to be going to a different facility. I would say only go here if you're desperate, but even if you're desperate try to find somewhere else to go. Wasted 2 hours of the only time I had available this week. Had a horrible experience.
I Literally Thought I Was Being Punked!!! This place is horrible. The employees are So busy playing around and joking with each other,They Ignore everybody else. Theyre disorganized, Rude and Disrespectful. Exspecially the Young Male Employee @ the front...They Also repeatedly yell at the donors "Get Behind The STOP Sign In Line" Nightmare and definitely won't be back
This place is gross. I take a person here and had to use the restroom while waiting - this is a "Medical facility" blood is drawn. There is no soap, no paper towels, no hand sanatizer. There is a slide lock on the doors you cannot lean/foot push the doors. I am surprised people do not leave here sick.
Manager Nicole is very nice and good at what she does. I don't even feel the needle when she sticks me. She's taken care of me twice so far and she helped me calm down about a very rude person on the staff in another department.
Been on the bed for a 2hrs took them 30 mins just to stick me and now the machines aren't working I got here at 12 it's 3:00 and I'm no where close to being done
2 speeds- slow and slower. Machines break, scales and equipment during screening work and then don't. No one seems to care. When there is an issue , staff is too busy standing around chatting or playing 1,2,3 not it. When u ask someone to help they say they can't.
I've been coming here for over 4yrs an this is a nice place everything has its hiccups an bad days an amongst other things but over all this is a good place to go an get extra money an at the same.time yur saving lives an help you feel better too I also want to mention they do take the time to talk to u an help u if yur in need Nurses are awesome if you give awesomeness
The first time I went it was cool ghetto cause the works play and talk to much with each other the 2nd time was a disaster it was close to 7 pm so everyone was in a rush I'm Doing the donation and it got finish well I didn't get none of the return one of the staff came to adjust the needle once now the machine alerts you if it's a no flow or whatever but they were playing so much and talking loud and cleaning so they could hurry up and leave they didn't pay attention to the machine so when they did come I
They have a very clean facility and the staff are great! There are always a few spoiled apples in the bunch of new works but they weed out within the first week. Other than that I highly recommend this location.
Rude staff. Lady at the front desk yelled to the back asking ?who wanted to do a new donor? and I can clearly hear another lady in the back stating she didn't while a male rolled his eyes and stated he didn't either. Waited for an hour after signing in on a clipboard and decided to walk out as process wasn't explained and no one wanted to preform their job anyway.
My first time there I did have to wait awhile but I think its expected when you're new. It was 3 hours but since I've been back there's hardly a line and they get you going pretty quick. Staff is very friendly! Edit: (Today. AUG 3RD, 2021) I witnessed a staff member whose name is Bri get very rude with a donor today. All he asked was is if she could fix his mask bc he couldn't lift his hands. She said, she isn't a "caretaker' and started to argue with him. Let me tell you 20 mins prior a supervisor was hap
Manager with braids is rude as hell... I definitely will not be coming back. Staff overall is rude. You would think the one in Dallas would be worse but they actually was nicer.
This location is horrible. Staff is unprofessional, unorganized and unkempt. Donors wait hours before someone provides directions, zero front desk help. And I watched a staff member pick up the phone then handle blood without changing gloves. Dirty bathrooms and gossiping staff. You literally have to wait for them to finish a none work discussion before they will help you. So I left, I was told there was a shortage so I went to help, but not at this location. You feel like you may catch a disease walking
Went to donate after work this evening. Waited the long wait patiently to get screened and finished donating. They are short staff but when you have an employee dancing around while stocking and people are finished donating in my opinion the employee should stop stocking to get the donor off the machine being that it's a big needle in their arm. The employee Celeste going to tell me I need to be patient along with other little smart comments because I stated she should help the guy since he was taking anoth
1 star is quite generous. Horrible service. Horrendous staff. Long lines. When staff screws up, will differ you. Participates in discriminative practices. They do not care about donor experiences then give you a number to call, so it doesn't show on Google reviews.
I had a problem trying to do my first donation due to my heart rate being too high. And when I came back for the second time I had the same problem on my first check with vitals, so one of the ladies gave some tips to calm me down and get my heart rate lower, so I could donate. I appreciated that she took the time to help me considering it was my second time and I didn't wanna leave empty handed like before. When I got set up to donate, the lady helping me knew exactly what she was doing, because she stuck
Every since I've been a donor here, I've had to go through the most. Initially you would think a better bunch of employees would suffice. But as observations of my own has shown me the problem is the management. These employees have no real ethical guidance because their leadership has shown to be just as unprofessional. So if this company is ok with the insubordination this staff is giving to the citizens of Grand Prarie, and other passing donors then I expect nothing better than the present. I've been in
I went in today as a NEW DONOR at 7am and they asked me to sign on a clip board and have a seat. I waited with another new donor until 8AM! That is ridiculous, then we were explained it can be ANOTHER 3 or 4 HOURS!! I walked out. I was not impressed by this facility at all. I have donoted other places and CSL is worst experience ever.
Very few professional people here. Severely understaffed. Too many employees who are more interested in the club they went to last night than actually getting any work done.
Went in for the first time to donate ,was a bit apprehensive from reading some reviews but I have to give 5 stars to CSL PLASMA at this location my experience was wonderful . From enrollment ,to examination, to the actual drawing of blood, par excellence. I would recommend CSL plasma at this location to anyone. The Entire STAFF made me feel at ease I will return I even took my husband and he doesn't like needles. The entire staff very Professional and Compassionate. Thankyou very much!! Blessings
One star only to leave a review.. staff is disrespectful and inconsiderate. ESPECIALLY the tall Keanna chick that always got the weave in her head.. expect to be abled to just throw trash all over your feet then have the nerve to have a problem with me saying something about it.
So I go here with my mom and she had a problem with her donation since the guy couldn't find her vein he even rearranged the needle like 5 times in her arm. So obviously you get nauseous after a needle is being moved around in your veins and poked in different angles. So eventually I finished my donation and went to get her backpack since she was sitting drinking getorade since she didn't get to the point of last saline return. Other phlebotomist says you're not supposed to keep poking the same arm after 3
I went in today for the first time, and everybody was friendly. I have donated in the past at another company, and the phlebotomist here are very good. I want to give a shout out to Brianna, she's really nice, and when she sticks the needle in your arm, it hurts less than usual. I feel very safe in their care, and would highly recommend this place.
Not gone lie. The only reason I accept the lower prices is because of the people here. They a whole vibe! Upgrade they place asap. Y?all got them looking like they working in the 80?s. For real it's good people there. Treat them well Corporate. Gold Member
Transfer from Arizona. The staff was really friendly, no denial of service, and the transfer was prompt
Staff is very rude. They treat you as if you are bothering them coming up there to donate. Even when not busy you will still have to wait two hours.. guessing the staff has favorite customers. This will be my last donation at this clinic. Never have I seen an establishment full of rude people!! If you value your self respect and don't want to feel low about yourself do not visit this location... very sad place
Malkiah is such a great stick! I always feel at ease and confident in her abilities. She is not only attentive but patient with me. Her charm is undeniable, and I am sure her work ethic is unparalleled because I always see her moving around the facilities working even as I wait to donate.
Friendly, clean and efficient. They need to pay more.
Christian the nurse was very nice and helpful with any of my questions and concerns. I wanted to add that yesterday I had an encounter with a really nice and helpful employee named Cindy Gray! They made a good choice having her up front to help out with screening she is very time efficient and always has great conversation?? keep up the good work??
This is my 3rd donation. The facility is constantly cleaned and maintained. First time donor expect to spend about 4-5 hours getting everything completed. After that expect to spend a minimum of 1-2 hours to get to donate, even in slow times, they are moving, there's just a process. So far neisha ( I didn't see the spelling) has been my favorite to do the poke. Lol see y?all in a few days ??
I went for the first time, and didn't really know what to expect. It was definitely a good experience. The staff in the front was busy, but everything was self-explainable. Tip: if it's your 1st time, don't get in the line, look for the big red sign ?? that says "NEW DONORS SIGN -IN HERE", then you sit down & they will call you. Expect to be there for about 3 1/2 hrs for your 1st time. After that, it's about 2 hrs. You get paid $60 your 1st time & $75 after that. The ladies in the back where you actually don
Very friendly and informative staff, when they stuck me it was painless, keikone did my screening and informed me of things I never knew, she was very helpful and the entire staff was very thorough and kind. Wait times are very long due to understaffing. Expect to wait, unless you get there when the doors open. Besides long wait times, everything else was fantastic.
Very unprofessional staff. The nurse was extremely rude when performing my assessment. I'm a nurse also, but I never told her that. She seemed annoyed that she had to assess me. Told me to only say ?yes? or ?no? to the questions. To add insult to injury the staff there cannot stick at all. They stuck my arm once and then sent me home. I tried to donate again a week later and they just flat out had taken me out of their system. I previously donated for a year at another facility so I know that a good phlebot
Ive been coming here for a few months and everything seemed great until today when one of the staff decided to complain about me not being able to hear her say which room was ready. When i got in the room i could still hear her complaining about it and ultimately embarrassing me infront of the lobby full of people as the other staff laughed about her rude comments. Not only was she complaining aloud to everyone but she then began to admit that shes proud to complain about people "like me" and she proudly ad
No problem with the plasma process itself. But someone should fire the big woman behind the counter that keeps talking about how you can't trust "White Folks." Racism in a place of business is unacceptable.
Inexperienced staff! Unprofessional. Terrible Customer Service. The lady couldn't find my vein so she just kept poking and prodding around in my arm and bruised me severely. I got deferred when I came back for my next donation because THEIR staff harmed me and they still questioned ME about it like it wasn't their staff who did it. Been waiting on results for a month because they had to send a sample. Never even received a single phone call. Do better
All the staff is very welcoming, very professional environment, if your down on your luck, and need to make some quick cash, CSL Plasma in Grand Prairie is the place to go, now if after 9 donations if they'd bump that $35 payment to $45 , it would be a lot better
Great staff!!! Very informative and helpful. First time I went in there it took about 2 hours for prelim and medical evaluation, I expected the process would be longer so I was very pleased with the time. The actual donation process only took about 50 minutes for me. Christin(not sure on the spelling) the nurse did my evaluation and she was awesome. Overall extremely satisfied!
So many sanitation issues. I wish I could upload photos of a bathroom that had the roll of toilet paper on the floor, with overflowing trash, and a stopped up toilet covered in feces. I went to the screening area. My phone was scanned by a tiny young Hispanic woman. Then she put gloves on, asked for my phone again, took it to a neighboring cubicle and said," I heard you are sick,". She then brought the phone back to me. This place should be shut down immediately. It is a health hazard.
I have been in line an hour and I still have not donated. They have 6 people working in the front and only 3 people working on the donor floor. And the facility didn't open until 10 am. This is ridiculous. This is the main reason I stop going to octopharma. This CSL location has went down. If this happens on my next visit I will not be coming back.
Where do start. The workers are angry because there understaffed. The workers literally move slower on purpose because they're mad at life. They watch happy donors get mad because there speed ethic is sad to be true. They spend more time telling jokes than working. For someone that expects to be in and out sorry they literally don't care. They watch people wait patiently while they act like there better than everyone else that's donating. Good luck if you just want to make a little extra cash you will fi
Malkiah is truly dedicated to her work. She is intentional about offering stellar service to donors, and I can see that she tries new ways to extend trust and cultivate joy in the process. Sometimes, I psych myself out, and I get very afraid of needles, but donating plasma offers financial help in times of need. Malkiah makes sure to put me at ease every time, and I have been consistently impressed by her ability to remain patient with me while ensuring her work ethic isn't compromised. She is efficient yet
This place is dirty and disgusting. It needs to be cleaned and sanitized. I went twice as a new donor and a few of us was asked to wait outside because the lobby was full. I'm never coming back. Hopefully, after reading everyone else's reviews that corporate does something about it. This place needs to be shut down ! The best plasma places to go is ....BioLife (Arlington) and Octapharma (Grand Prairie). These places are super clean, organized and it's big place. At Biolife they go buy appointments. Sign i
The staff is professional and friendly. They do keep the atmosphere pleasant and donation time fun. Only thing I would really like for CSL to consider is more comfort for the donor. Who likes standing for long periods of time before a donation or for anything? Do you like standing in long lines??? It can be 10 minutes to an hour sometimes. The pay is also a little lower then the competition.
The technicians there were horrible. One technician was talking with another coworker complaining about their boss and she was using profanity. That was so unprofessional. If you don't like your job or boss either suck it up and vent when your at home or quit your job. I had to ask the technician to change her gloves because they were dirty and I did not want her to infect me with someone else's bodily fluids. I will not be returning to this location. The atmosphere was negative and unprofessional.
All of my donations here have been positive. I have had Sharon, Keys, Jennifer and Whitney perform my needle stick and they are all excellent. I have visited multiple plasma donation places over the last few years; BioLife, Grifols, Biomat, Octapharma and so far the staff here are my favorite. They are incredibly friend while still being professional. They have the option to do your questions on your phone before you reach the center which speeds up the process. They don't have an appointment option ye
I will never in my life donate at this CSL plasma because of this location. The ladies here including the supervisor are less then joyous and need major attitude adjustments. I had a major issue today and nobody stepped up and took the initiative and did their jobs. Instead I was treated with harsh, cruel, inconsiderate behavior by the staff. I know people donate often because they need the money and will accept whatever comes their way but I actual do it because I know I can help and save a life however I
The first time I came to CSL plasma as a new donor everything went well. I took tests, was informed of all the policies and qualifications, signed documents, etc. However, it was the second time I came to donate that I got a horrible experience. Everything went well right up to the point that the employee (Jill Farris) stuck me with the needle. Since this is my second time donating ever, the procedures of attending to a patient hasn't quite stuck yet, but I know pretty damn well that if a patient has a conc
I don't understand how OCTOPHARMA has better reviews than CSL... my experience here has been WAY better than over there by 1000% and I'm not exaggerating. From customer service to phlebotologists who don't leave a huge bruise on my arm every time they stick me. I've regularly been coming here now after passing over from octopharma after they demonstrated extremely poor customer service and so far there has been no problems :)
I was there when Levi Davis's name was being called, totally his fault for not being in line with ALL the other new applicant's. I don't blame them for moving his fat lazy ass to the back of the line. Heck, he couldn't even keep his nasty pants pulled up & was filthy. The idiot definitely demonstrated what a total slob he was and truly got the treatment & respect he not only earned, but deserved. Otherwise, they advise it will take new applicant's 3-4 hours to go through complete process and that was pret
Where should I began? I went to this location today to donate for the first time, and the customer service I received was horrible. I checked in at 3:30 apparently csl doesn't take new donors after a certain time which Is understandable, but what I don't understand is how they can have me sitting there for over 40 minutes before I was informed that I couldn't donate. I told the short dark black lady behind the desk that I was not told that I couldn't donate because if so I would have left waaaaay before ove
Some of the workers are nice, but they never change gloves, injure and mis-stick donors pretty frequently, and I have personally been stuck before the iodine was dry on purpose (timer was at 28-29 when being stuck) which doesn't feel pleasant. Floaters are usually always kind and friendly. The workers who are sticking are pretty rude and passive aggressive most of the time, obvious they don't want to be there and don't care if they do their job properly. Octapharma has longer wait times but they also have b
Im not the type to complain or even the type to leave a good or bad review. Me myself i never went of reviews i always found out for myself. But this place is trash. 1.)As u wait in line and get called to a bed to donate the 3 people that were in line behind you get called. And get stuck before you. 2.) After your done donating u sit with needle in ur arm for a good 15 mins. And told to wait while they clean of beds. 3.) Some of the staff there act as though they have power over you
If i could give this place a 0 i would. I was waiting in line which went all the way outside. Then the two people ahead of me went into the kiosk and since i did mine online prior to arriving so i went ahead and got in line. The lady at the front says i can't do that and i have to wait outside, i ask why, and she says ?those two red spots are for the people at the kiosk? and i say ?but i already did mine online? and she goes ?you have to wait outside? and ive been donating here for over 2 years now, and I?v
Went for my first time today and it was an overall pleasant experience. The wait time was a bit long (about 3 hours) but the staff was friendly and attentive. They have a $6 bonus for first time donors on their website. $66 was definitely worth 3 hours of my time
They are not understanding at all. They have new rules and will waste your time even if you don't know about the new rules. A few people are really nice but other centers are easier to donate at.
The only part i was ok with was the physical part they hired a new lady. The previous was rude and unprofessional. But i also found out that THEY ONLY PAY NEW DONORS $270 and that two payment of $75 and two of $60. In this order 75, 60, 75, 60. Also, yes i still see some workers that have that look in their face like they hate the life they have but they are slowly getting rid of those workers from what i seen. This is after almost 2 years
I have tried four times to come in as a new donor and been told they weren't taking new donors because they're understaffed. The last time I called beforehand and was told, Yes come in, that they could take me. But when I arrived they told me, yea sorry we can't take you today. I told them I'd called beforehand and was told they could take me and to come in, they said sorry nothing we can do. I told them I'd driven 40 minutes to get there after they told me to come. They said sorry nothing we can do. Dont w
Would of given them five stars but they send me home because i was in the 102 degree heat and my temp was 99.7 and your temp has to be 99.5 then i was told when i come in to settle down first so it doesn't happen again. Should of been told to do that the first time i really needed the money for gas to handle school stuff for my kids.?? But other than that, the staff takes care of you.
From what I've seen, they DO NOT clean/disinfect lounge chairs between donors and have a bad habit of touching other surfaces before attending a donor. If you try to correct their error by asking them 'if they can please change-out to some clean gloves', they get upset. What I don't understand is: (for example) anyone working at a restaurant knows there's strict policies and procedures to follow to prevent cross contamination and illness; How can working at a plasma center be any different from that? Takin
The staff, with the exception of a few members is crass, grumpy, indignant, and unnecessarily Snotty. Bad attitudes abound, and it seems that they hate their jobs. I continue on here, because it's convenient to do a good service and get a little stipend, so near to home. Their customer service leads A LOT to be desired.
This place sucked! They made me spend an hour and a half reading materials and watching videos on the process before I actually got to go into the room for screening test. When I finally got to that point I got my finger pricked, weight, blood pressure and temperature wishing two minutes, everything was fine but since I had a physical this morning and had blood drawn they just said I have to have it accounted for or some bs and didn't say how I'm suppose to do that. I could have called the office for them t
It's three ladies up there I really do like they nice and professional morning shift
DO NOT GO HERE!!! The employees are very rude and unprofessional? this lady grab my arm hard as hell to where I almost cursed her out , they got attitudes for no reason if you don't like your job FIND A NEW ONE! I was a first time donor and I will not ever come back again.
I go here mostly because since they open at 6AM even if there is a lot of people in the morning I can usually be out before 9am, sometimes even after showing up around 7am. Although truth be told it is a hassle and sometimes they bruse you up like they did to me on Friday. I wasn't able to go today because I still have a mark and a bruse from them having to re-stick me. Also Fair warning your first donation is going to take about 4 hours because they have to do a medical evaluation on you. Pay is better
Don't waste your time coming here. They told me I had a bruise on my arm when I didn't, and told me I couldn't use my right arm. Then one of the stickers, faked checking my left arm just so she could get out of sticking another donor before they closed. They are rude, and have no clue what they are doing. And the nurse Kimberly, will say anything she can to send you home, and will threaten with a 56 day deferral if they can't stick you properly. Worst plasma place I've been to by far.
New donors takes 5 hours when they are empty and not busy..... I guess only 1 person can do physical exams. I already ate a big mean but i think i should have brought another meal for the long wait. I recommend avoiding this location.
I went in and got turned around because the "young lady" at the desk said she couldn't read one of the numbers on my social security card. Clearly it was an official government document, with some wear on it from on it but authentic nonetheless, but she tells me " I can't tell what this one particular number is so I took it to my manager and she couldn't tell either". So instead of asking me what the number is, she turned me around like I can afford to waste time and gas. Now don't get me wrong its all for
I would like to Thank Ms. KeiKone at the front desk for always being professional and nice to me whenever I come. I would like to Thank Ms. Kamryn Woodard and Ms. Sharon for treating me kind and making sure I'm relaxed before sticking me. My last Thanks goes to Ms. Natash. From the first day she has been so unbelievable nice and professional and want to let all you ladies know that I appreciate all you do and please keep up the excellent work.
Staff is unprofessional and extremely rude. The majority of the phlebotomist display below average phlebotomy skills. The management is unreponsive to complaints about quality of care. Other centers pay better so its not really worth being treated like cattle by obviously underpaid, overworked, and unskilled employees.
Thee Worst CSL PLASMA center in the states! They never can keep any staff and do not care about the donors or anyone time. They either need new management to turn this place around or start hiring better staff. It says a lot about a company who can never keep employees.
Rude amateur medical staff!! They will find any reason to deny a plasma donation!! This was my first time coming here. Like everyone else willing to get a needle stuck in their arm, just wanted to make a little extra cash. They took my vitals twice and said my pulse was 110 and that's too high since it has to be under 100 bpm. That's insane!! Especially for someone who hasn't donated plasma before I was a little nervous. The nurse or whatever was seriously rude and kept frowning at me and making me even mor
Worst place I have ever been or seen all the staff is just walking around doing nothing laughing and talking while there is a line of 15 people that's hasn't moved in 30 min it the same thing every time save your self the headache it ain?t worth it they also have attires when u ask a question don't ever go there cus I won't again
The attitudes here are scary. Very unfriendly staff, eyes always shifting suspiciously, no hello or goodbye. We were encouraged to donate plasma to save lives by some donated people. We have been turned down twice here, the 1st time BP bottom numbers between 101 & 105. We came back a month and 2 months later to make sure BP were good which they are because we take BP meds and do BP readings daily plus we went to the dentist this week and one knows dental offices will not clean teeth unless your BP is g
I have been donating at the csl plasma center for years. The staff is always friendly and I would like to acknowledge one employee in particular Ms. Keikone Bell is always smiling and positive. She is very helpful with questions and always smiling. Thank you all for being great.
Very unprofessional, they don't care how their employees treat their donors , Ghetto, they curse and talk about other donors in front of donors. Their machines are out dated and won't compensate you if your machine breaks down during your donation process, need to be shut down or needs new management! Very unpleasant experience!
The employees on the floor are always gathered together talking & not working. They show each other stuff on their phones. It's like social hour. Donors are an afterthought. They do not value our time as donors. I won't be back.
This place has turned into a nightmare! The "trained" phlebotomist always mess up and you get deferred for no fault of your own. The staff is always short on people working so wait times are long. This has just really becone a frustrating process.
Thirty minutes and still haven't donated yet if you have a job to go to give yourself three or four hours. And be prepared for all new donors to start before you. In Ft. Worth It takes me no longer than an hour and fifteen minutes. Worst plasma center I have ever been to. I got here at twelve 1:20 now still no needle in my arm.definitly going to be late for work.Horrible experience!!!!
Do not go to this location for anything! If you're a new donor go to any of the Dallas locations. This place sucks! It's always short staffed so they never have time to process new donors. I've been 4 times in the last month trying to get in. The worst and most poorly managed CSL I've ever been to. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would.
I have been donating here for a few months while going to nursing school. Today I went to donate and got seated in my chair to wait to be hooked up and I was watching a worker take the IV out of another person. He was bleeding bad from the site so he was applying pressure with gauze. The worker removed the gauze and threw it away and wrapped him up and he was on his way. Then she came over to hook up my line and I asked her to change her gloves and she looked down at them, as if to see if there was any bloo
If I could give 0 stars I would !!! Not sanitary at all super dirty !! And ghetto do not come here !!! Super rude staff !!!! Literally changed my mind on donating.
Unprofessional. They are rude and one of the ladies really hurt me and I almost cried when she poked me and kept moving the needle while it was inside of me. The woman who screened me was too busy gossiping and didn't communicate with me what I needed to do next. Very unprofessional!!
Preet was kind . Tiewanna is theBest phlebotomist at CSL. Quick, easy and painless. She is truly the most remarkable and kind person who has ever drawn my blood. Nadine is a blessing. She truly cares about humanity and is an exceptional nurse.
Tasha did a great job and knew where my vein was the first time. Thank you
Worst place ever.!!! They make you wait for hours and then tell you cant donate . The employees all they do is play around and gossip. Management is a joke. They're only nice to people who they're friends with .Its like they don't want people to donate . They try to rush you out of there when they're close to closing. Its called a job.!!! Stay home if yall dont wanna work. !!!!!
Victoria is horrible person to she rude and if she does not like her job she could quit. I honestly think just because you donating plasma they think they can talk to you anyway I will never go there and hopefully no one esle will either i will make sure i will not refer anyone to many plasma donating places to go to and be treated right.
Takes 3 hours for a returning customer needs more staff. I am now deferred for 56 days because my blood could not be returned. These people do not know what they are doing. They are just sticking and checking the veins. I'm beyond passed and fed up with this center
keni Mills saved my vein she noriced swelling I didnt see it in my own arm and Miss Natasha did excellent to even find a vein in my left arn. excellent workers I give them both a 5 stars!!!!!!!!!
Staff is nice and the process is smooth I got the needle a little too far into my vein and my arm was sore for a couple days but good staff guy with the nose ring made the process as smooth as possible
I only donate here because its close. But most of them here are rude, unprofessional, ghetto, they talk about other employees to donors, the list goes on! I noticed that they dont clean the chairs between donations. There's usually spots of blood on the chairs, I mean....They could be great with the right selective staff.
Crap place! I been donating for about 4 to 5 years now and the way this place works is you have to know the staff to get any thing done right! I got done then I hear about 5 machine's get done and then they unhook every eles then get to me after talking with ever one! Now I'm not saying all CSL plasmas are bad but this is the worst I have ever been to i can't wait to move so I can find a better center, to get away from this stupid center! I even came back and again still waiting while I get to see people d
They allow untrained nurse too needle stick, then your vein in messed up and you can't donate for 60 days smh all because a nurse wanted to get to break faster. Please train better! Only a few nurses are good and that's just the OG?s
Great place to make some extra cash while also helping others. For just a few hours of your time you can make over a hundred dollars as a new donor. They have a very friendly staff and are super clean. Give them a try!
Won't ever donate here again. I hate when people come to work and act like they don't want to do their job !! Stay home or go find you something else that you actually enjoy doing !! Don't answer the phone and treat customers hostile and then act friendly in person. Horrible horrible service.
My boyfriend donated here a couple times , where we were living it was super convenient and it helped us pay our hotel room across the street. After him donating two times and getting our hopes up they say they can't help us and we are unable to donate anymore because we live in a hotel.. Which confused me because wouldent we need money the most ? And its not like they really send out mail ?? Sucks ??
I come on my days off because I can't when working however this is the second time Ive wasted my time and not been able to donate at their fault not mine and it's very frustrating! They should have a nurse there at all times if they require a screening or anything other protocols They demand but can't accommodate
I donate here twice a week. The staff is working hard and doing OK but the last several times they have been severely behind and understaffed. Tonight I spent a half hour waiting in line. Not worth it.
I would've rated a no star didn't have that option! First off they cheat you out of your money! MAKE SURE THEY have the correct cuff on you!! Or the blood pressure results will not be correct! In which a so called manager CHARLES and his screener tried telling me size didn't matter!! And in this case SIZE MATTERS. CHARLES I hope you learn that! And not give out misinformed info. They have some rude employees and ALWAYS put the good ppl in back. Which they deserve to make more money! But keep us some good o
By far the worst place I have ever been at. All of the staff have no clue as to how to treat anybody. If you want to wait 2-3 hours before you even start then come to this location. I am truly amazed this place is still open.
The staff not friendly .. But I'm giving one star the place is very unclean in the back , I use to donate at Biomat every time donor donates the Worker will sanitize and clean the station . I'm looking around I see dry Palsma everywhere in CsL .The staff never change there gloves after each donation .The staff will touch there cell phone with dirty gloves just a filthy environment . Texas Health department should investigate this filthy establishment
Great place I love this location I would recommend it to anyone, the girls in the front that check you in are wonderful. I have good relationships with several of them very friendly and hardworking they get you in and out and the money is good.
If I could give it zero stars I would. Don't waste your time with this place they will look for any reason to not allow you to donate its waste of time and the lady was rude about it. Go someplace else!
I always love going CSL #280, not only are you helping people you also make friends the staff is very friendly and they even hold you a conversation if they have time, this is the only location that I'll donate at when I'm in the DFW area, so to the staff at CSL #280 until I see you ladies again it's been fun
This was my time coming to donate I was nervous and fearful due to the pandemic but in my heart, I wanted to do something to help my community. I would like to thank the supervisor Mrs. Bullock & the staff for making this a pleasant experience for me.
Very unprofessional staff. A member of the staff was playing around and accidentally deferred me they gave me only $10 for the inconvenience then the next day I went back I was .1 over the max temp and they told me I was deffered again but I had seen a person before me while I was waiting in line sit down and and go back to do their temp again. Horrible staff and a lot of foolishness!!!
Wow the staff are insensitive and inconsiderate. Their machines are so messed up Everytime I donate I get deferred for red blood cell loss. The machine either gets clogged the filter stops or the machine starts pulling air in the lines. I have had blood loss 3 times in 6 months.
The equipment is not accurate in temp or bp. And some staff members act like they are better than anybody. They have bad attitudes sometimes and are unprofessional at times.
CSL Needs to Get the Networks Fix d. All dotation centers are closed. Bc. They(CSL). Blamed the Net. For Going down. I got a Family to feed. This was my side gig. But there not realible anymore. Trash
At Bio Life Plasma you can only be considered a new donor once! Not after 6 months or a year or even a few years so only promotions can get you close to new donor fees. They will let you donate then tell you ur only getting $20 buck after ur first donation. So beware of that an be sure to ask questions!
I find the cls Plasma Center in Grand Prairie to be a clean and friendly place. The lines are usually short so it doesn't normally take a long time. So it is a great way to earn some extra cash if you need it.
I donated here twice and the wait was usually 2 hours. No seats, and the staff doesn't really care about their patients. The last time I went (it is a 40 minute drive for me) they said they didn't have donation cards from the other plasma centers, so I couldn't donate. Thank you for wasting my time and my gas CSL Plasma, I'll remember to never donate here again.
Passed all the tests black woman on a power trip Falsely deferred me
*******Updated Review****** 03/30/19 July 29, 2019 They seemed to be short staffed. And when toya is busy, stuff dont get done right or in a timely fashion.
My experience was fast ! No longer then 45 minutes to a hour
very poor communication i dont even work there im a donor i went to try to donate for the 5th time in a 6 month time span and everytime i try they say im not good i have all my right protiens i regularly drink water as well. they will then act like they dont know whats going on and if they feel the need to get rid of people in the waiting area they will send u for a vein check and then say your not eligible and send u on out the door >:/ i have picked up on their tactic and the way that they work and i thin
Amazed how one set of staf can run this place on point and pretty quickly then other days it just seems to run horribly and the staff that makes mistakes makes you wait a exponential amount of your time for their negligence
This place is so ghetto please don't waste your time coming here the payout might be good but the way you're treated and the wait times they're just not worth it they're not worth it the amount of time I spend up here trying to donate plasma I could have gone into work and made the same amount of money they're rude not trained well at all and when you come in there and you know what you're talking about they try to dumb you down
A screener tried to force me to wash my hands after i sneezed into them. But i requested that the manger come into the bathroom, to witness it. She refused. So I went in, then walked back out. Heard of NWA??? They need to change the name to GHETTO PLASMA!!! Home of BWA!!! Get it?
Well iv been donating here for about 6mo now with one problem after anouther... a friend wet same time I did and attempted to donate said no cuz of meds but go get a dr. Clearance to donate. When returned after having doctor's clearance in hand was still refused because somebody there not a doctor said that they had a upper respiratory infection now is permanently deferred. Peace people have no idea what the hell you're talking about and I think it's more of a race issues anything else....
Today was a easy day at CSL I got in very quick ! And my screener des made my process quick and easy.
I hate these funky ole people. There's 30 people in the lobby, the air barely blowing, it's 98 degrees outside and couldn't donate because im hot.
The staff is awesome I really like this location. Sometimes they are slow but most of the time they do really good getting everyone out fast.
They are raciest didn't want to attend us because we are Hispanic ???? Wouldn't recommend it here treat u bad.
The same exact guy that first passed me because my protein was a half point off today failed me for being a half point off my protein levels so I have to wait a week after donating there for 6 months with never failing plus the one girl keeps saying I have bruising on my arm when it's just my veins and she's the only one wasting my time waiting on the nurse but the nurses are awesome and professional
Never have I been in a plasma center before that keeps a good and steady pace great and professional staff I came from an Octapharma Center and by far this Csl Center beats it and Immunotek by a whole bit Thanks to phlebotomist Joshua L. Has a light hand didnt even feel a thing after a year of not poking my right arm Great job and thanks From donor james thanks again . Definitely recommended and i go to different plasmas just to check them out as a hobby
They are very ghetto. I gave 3 stars because some the staff are nice
Not only do they underpay their employees but they treat them like TRASH. Constant turn over and lack of regard for employee safety. Would give no stars if it was an option.
The lady?s here are awesome very nice and sweet best place to donate plasma
The staff are friendly and funny as hell. I love coming up here to get a little extra money, and spend talking with these funny people. Thank you CSL
If your thinking about donating here don't, management does not care about the employees or there donors the employees are very ignorant and do a lousy job but if you do decide to donate ask for Natasha or Linda to stick you there the best phlebotomist
I really enjoy donating and helping ones in need, so many lives pulled through illnesses & more. Donate today & become someone?s hero! Thank you CSL!
Phlebotomist are unqualified,, BUTCHERS. "some" of these phlebotomist belong in a morgue,,They forget I'm alive and donating,NOT getting embalmed.??
Some slow ass shit. Fast machines this
Love it ! Shout out to miss maria ?? she always fast & make sure your ok. Thanks a while 1st time but then I go in and out!
Always slow, workers lack efficiency and professionalism. Save yourself the experience and go to another clinic if able.
Very RUDE Staff up front , WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE To this place !!!!! They tell you you usually spend about 1/2 hours well thats a lie you end Up Here For Like 4/5 Hours! Horrible place !
Very quick in and out if you go at the right time. Not too friendly but very business like. Better pay than most.
Very quick easy process somedays a it get a little packed but mostly quick and to the point the rest depends on you lol "drink your water"
The nurse at this location is so rude. Treats people like they are nothing..... I see why people avoid this location!!!!
Good place to make some extra money good people working there never had a problem but if ur liking to be in and out go as early as u can cuz after 3 it tends to get packed
Very painless procedure, friendly staff, friendly people. I enjoyed it, just make sure to call before you head out, they will tell you on the phone everything you need to know.
I love csl Grand prairie, I never have any issues, and everyone is nice and make the process less scary.
Celest Douglass has a great attitude and very attentive. Needle glides right in with no pinch A-1 visits
Slow staff un profesional some not all .
These are the slowest moving group of people I have ever seen at a work place! They don't want to work to busy talking and sitting around they need a new staff!! Stay away!!
Terrible place. They do not care about the donors or their jobs. This comes across as a paycheck for most of the employees and it has everything to do with the management. I would not suggest going here if you can help it.
They definitely got some good people working here
The staff is friendly and helpful shout out to mr.James he's ??too for keep everybodys hands sanitized fixing the sanitizer machine on his off day when no one asked hin to do so??.
I love coming to this plasma center ! Every time I come there's always smiling faces and great music . Keep it up CSL !
Nice place, most folks are friendly and it is a faster process than most. Although whoever is in charge has a nasty attitude.
This location is the worst I drove all the way from the south side Fort Worth thinking it be better here nope waited a good 30mins to get poked unprofessional, never coming here again
The pay sucks but thats not their fault I suppose. The person below is right about them not changing their gloves. I have personally watched them go sticking multiple people in a row without changing their gloves.
Rude staff and they discriminate based on where you live.Have lived in motel for 4 years and they wont let me donate but homeless people and dope heads can.Have donated other companies with no issues at all but try to donate here due to my work schedule through week and they are open sundays but discrimination happened.sorry place and staff were very rude
The lines move a lot faster now especially in the mornings. Outside of the waiting it is a quick way to make an extra buck.
Very friendly staff and positive work environment ! I enjoy coming to this location and will be back .
It's the best I don't have to wait in line the clients are so nice I'm going to come back and I'm going to come back again again thank you CSL Plasma
This arent customer servive employees they are doing their job to get you out and get you paid. Do t give the person with the needle a hard time.
My screening process was was very pleasurable due to Destinee Rayford Thank You!!!
A quick and relitivly painless process but they have dramatically reduced their payouts I got 27$ for a donation today...
Well I like it and they are very helpful when you need a question to be answer and they do a good job
Great And Friendly Staff. From Watching Required Videos and Doing The Necessary Steps Got Me In And Out With Great Time. Thanks CL PLASMA.
Horrible service always have issues and never able to communicate with the donors happens literally Everytime I come
Des who works in the front is very professional. She's the only one who I want to screen me
Awesome service as always but they took away the televisions and its made the process seem so much longer now that i have nothing to watch , Bring em back!??
The worst staff iv seen anywhere.....I watched them ignore the phone numerous times and its crazy
I have used this location for months and everything has been great save for the wait time
Very rude, unprofessional, and unorganized. One staff member tells you one thing and another staff member tells you another.
I've never had a problem here. Very nice people there.
Time means nothing here. Perfect for if you have a few hours to waste and absolutely nowhere to be
Confrontational and extremely ghetto staff. Need to learn professionalism in the workplace environment from top to bottom.
KeiKone Bell is very nice and respectful an always cheerful an is always smiling and very helpful
Everyone here greeted me with a smile and kind words , ask for Keena and La Toya 10/21
I use to donate in Brownsville Tx...my question is do they had to do all the process again like the doctor physical and all that stuff???here in Grand Prairie
Very friendly, fast service and the nurse was amazing Christien.
Very friendly staff now, and a since of urgency as well. Wait times has deminished, at least for me.
Don't call because they won't answer your question they'll just put you on hold..
Very poor service. Made me come back three times because I was forgeting something that they failed to mention I need before hand.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
