Many reviewers complain about excessive wait times (often 2-5 hours), chronic understaffing, poor appointment management, and lack of communication. Frequent issues include last-minute cancellations, disorganization, and uncomfortable waiting conditions (heat, rain). Some praise friendly, skilled staff, especially phlebotomists, but criticize overall facility management. Negative reviews dominate, citing unprofessionalism, rude employees, and inefficient operations, while positive feedback highlights cleanliness, attentive care, and occasional smooth processes. Katie was amazing! She was by herself but she did got it done. She was very nice and pleasant to deal with. She truly calmed my nerves. Dionne was great at welcoming me for my first time. And Ms. Teresa was great too. Thanks

This center has taken it upon themselves to increase the amount of plasma they take now to 1098 ml instead of 898 which was the amount I have always given. In addition they did not increase the pay to compensate for the extra time this causes nor do they provide you with extra saline at the end of your donation causing you to be dehydrated and feel horrible afterwards. I received no notice of this change until I was already donating this last time. I asked to speak to a manager and they didn't even have the

I went in to donate for my first time ever and it was one of the worst and traumatic experiences I've ever went through and I had to reach out several times just to get paid. I'm a regular blood donor and this was nowhere near what I expected. When I first came in no one greeted me and there were no indications on what to do or where to go. I stood at the front desk waiting until someone asked me what I needed help with. I was directed to sit and wait for someone to help me. I didn't get checked in or talk

I had a very frustrating experience as a first-time donor at BioLife Plasma Center. Their lack of transparency and efficiency in communicating required documentation caused me to waste both time and money getting to their location?something they should be more considerate of, as not everyone has easy access to transportation. Before coming in, I checked their website for the necessary documents, which only mentioned identification and proof of address. Nowhere did it state that if you've ever, at any point

All staff members need a quarterly training on sticking patients. They are cocky and rude for people who don't know how to stick properly. Just a bunch of dummies running around with needles. They have whole conversations on how late they have to stay and how they are so ready to go. Which feels like they are rushing. Not all the staff is terrible. But most of them are just guessing what to do. If you have to mark my vein with a cap or the swab, you should not be sticking no one. I know things happen and n

Pleasant staff who made my first visit very comfortable. They ensured that I understood the process and continuously checked on me to make sure that all was well. A great way to help those who need plasma, and to earn some quick, honest money. The environment was safe, clean, and pleasant.

I love this place. Far better from any other in Jacksonville I've been to. Especially Ms Malinda, her attitude is soo welcoming. She makes you feel as if you're family! The staff was consistent, fair nd they are organized because they don't tolerate any skipping in the line! If I could work here I'm pretty sure I would love my job! Will be back as long as I can. The energy is unmatched and this is my 3 rd visit! Big thumbs up! Keep up the good work BioLife!!!

This location is sanitary and safe. Maybe thats why it takes the longest of any locations. Not enough employees and what should take one hour for everyone takes 2 or in my case 3 hours. Also the music and some staff are explicit and sometimes vulgar if you care about that sort of thing. I just want them to get the line moving faster and get me unhooked when I am done and sore from waiting 2 hours.

The wait is always very long. You schedule an appointment and still take 2-3 hours every donation. This donation the computers were messed up and when I finished my questionnaire I had to get a review. I thought I had made sure to double check all of the answers because of the system problem. When I told the lady in the front that I needed a review she just stood there and I had to wait on someone else to come and ask for the person to do the review. Then I got stuck waiting behind a very long line of peopl

My husband went in because he wanted to donate plasma and there was an awesome promo. He donated his plasma and not only did they charge him for a new card because the one he was given expired but he wasn't given the full amount for the one day donation. A $90 donation turned into $85 and no one answers the phone when you call. To hell w these lying scamming thieves.

I've called over 15 times to speak with someone. Half the time someone will pickup and lay the phone down and I can hear them talking crap about patients and there job. What kind of place is this? Most people are trying to donate there plasma for a good cause. I've left multiple messages over the past week when they didn't pick up and just lay the phone down and I haven't gotten a call back in over 7 days. It's just not a very poor way to run a business that people counting on life saving plasma and medicat

It's always slow and terrible. Been here 2 times, and its always the same staff dragging their feet to do shit. The phlebotomist group are good, but everyone else is terrible. No one is in charge to make it all run smoothly

You can start by not allowing explicit And inappropriate music from being played throughout the center. Your facility is understaffed, there's no dedicated representative at reception to guide new donors or be a point of contact when there's an issue with the EDQ or a question about policy. The phlebotomist often have inappropriate personal conversations between each other while on the floor And the grooming standards of the phlebotomist are often below standards for a medical facility. I understand the spe

Wish I could give it a 0 star. My mom went here to try donating 5 times total. She was told she needed paperwork for her depression and ptsd from her doctors, so after weeks of going through that process she finally was able to give them what they needed. She waited in there each time for over a hour just to get denied. And the last time she went in for over two hours, with her paperwork and everything needed, keep in mind she's been here FIVE times and went through the health check and everything. As she's

I have nothing but good things to say about the Normandy Ave Location. Extremely clean facility, very friendly and courteous staff. A few standouts to me are are Tashauna and, Mrs. Melinda.

Went to check in and after making me wait decided to refuse to service or accept me because Toni wanted to leave early. He was very rude, condescending and disrespectful. I would never recommend this place because of his attitude and behavior. Treated me as if I wasn't even there, yet I'm offering to help save lives with my donation. I should be respected as a future life saving donor, not trash.

I just love going to BioLife on Normandy. Tashauna is the best employee ever. She's very patient, polite, and ready to answer any questions you have! She definitely deserves to be employee of the year!

I will say by far this is the best experience that I've ever had. From the front door being greeted by older woman to doing the physical and Ashley who was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. She was amazing and that's honestly an understatement. And k a t was extremely helpful I'm so kind. I will be back next to you

Drove all the way there from saint augustine with my boyfriend and they start giving him the run around. You need a appointment. And they had no time, because he needed to make a appointment. They were rude nasty and unprofessional when it came to helping people so he left and went to the one down the street. The people at this place was short and rude and we would never return there. Unprofessional tell people over the phone before they did all the way there.

Drove 1 hr away. Showed up at 11:55 and appointment was 11:45. Blonde girl behind counter said sorry it's 11:46 we have to reschedule. She asked her manager who called me a liar. He actually said that. They turned away a customer because of supposedly 1 minute. So rude and disrespectful. Unless you are desperate and have no dignity... such a scam .

This place is a joke have a sprained ankle Dr put me in a boot they refused to let me donate have been to Grifols and Csl never a problem they documented it and I donated. This guy Igor tells me we can't take your plasma cause your body needs it where do you get you physicians a sprain pertains to muscular strain and or pull no physical damage nothing to do with plasma and or blood breakdown! Do not go here already has a 3.1 check all reviews all our bad reviews can't be wrong! Anyone looking head to grifol

Your team is very professional, kind, outgoing, and very caring. Your team explains every process of the donation program. I feel kind of pampered every time I go.

First of all, they are very understaffed. There are 5 or 6 stations for people to be checked in, and I've only ever seen one in operation. If your appointment is at 3, expect to not be seated for donation for 1.5 hours. So the "hour" they talk about is a crock, more like 2 or 3. When you call, no one answers the phone. If you have technical difficulties, health questions, scheduling questions, you have to go directly to the office, which is very inconvenient. With that said, the phlebotomists are all VERY

The employees are...fine...but I've had issues with this center on several occasions, where they were unexpectedly closed and could not notify patients. It's extremely inconvenient to anybody who walks, uses gas, or otherwise spends their time trying to get here only to be told they have to reschedule. Please fix this.

I made a donation visit to the plasma center on 5/20/25, but payment was not received. Although I was told that the funds would be available within an hour, my calls to follow up were ignored for an hour. This Duval plasma center has been the worst I've encountered, and I will not return.

Waited a hour and half before even got back to donate. 2 1/2 hours total while staff hid in the break room shoving donuts in their mouth from Krispy Kreme.

My appointment was at 4:00pm for a physical and donation. By 5:35pm I was not seen and ended up leaving because there were people in front of me who had appointments at 4:30pm and 4:45pm who were being seen first and I had to wit at least 30 more minutes to be seen.

Decided to start donating plasma as a way to make extra income but after only 2 appointments i?ve decided this is not the place for me. First time i went I was there for 4 hours. It was extremely understaffed, and while the staff was very nice and explained everything to me, they did try to stick the needle in my left arm and he didn't make it into a vein, resulting in a giant purple bruise all across my arm for a week. Second time I went, I was not told where to go and stood at the front for 5 minutes befo

I was touched inappropriately by a staff member there and the office could care less. They are disorganized and sloppy. Go somewhere else. There are plenty of other places to go Staff member was examining my stomach area and I guess my belt line was too high to access the area he needed to examine so instead of asking me to adjust my pants he sticks his fingers into my pants and yanks my pants down. I panicked for a moment thinking he was about to completely expose my privates. His fingers were literally to

I never thought I'd say this about a place that sticks you with needles lol but I actually enjoy coming here. Apart from receiving an extra source of income, the staff is always very nice and the phlebotomists that have stuck me have always done a good job ??

Appointment time 830.. Checked in by 840? It's now 10 and i?m still not in the chair. 20+ ppl in line behind me. Schedule enough people or cut down on appointments? It shouldn't take this long.

Everyone working has a great attitude. They try to get you through the process as fast as possible. They make your time there enjoyable.

They unfortunately let inexperienced, very nervous phlebotomists take your blood, sometimes resulting in this. The girl who did this had the audacity to say she needed to do the other arm after this one gushed blood from her poking the wrong area. Also, once they leave your arm like this, you're not allowed to donate until it's cleared which is often weeks. (This bruising is after a week of healing?. Imagine what it looked like fresh). Do not let them mangle you, try and find another means for extra income

I am missing $30 from BioLife from the last two weeks of donations. I showed the promotional emails detailing how much I should have been paid to Kenzie. She told me that she would not pay me the money owed and that if I said anything else, she would permanently defer me. When I told her that I did not do anything to be permanently deferred, she threatened to kill me if I ever saw her again! I find this behavior extremely offensive. She then started to act like I was aggressing on her to other employees and

The last time I visited the service was horrible. The person who stuck me with the needle did a terrible job. After I removed the wrapping 13 hours later the incision was still bleeding and I did not do any strenuous work with my arm after donating. I will not donate again.

Completely understaffed. We came on a Saturday for our first appointment - a physical before donating. There wasn't a receptionist and there's no clear direction on where to go if you're new. All the staff I experienced was kind and knowledgeable. The nurse who got me set up and then did my physical, Joey, was hilarious! There are lines - for registering, for checking in, for a bed. Additional staff would eliminate confusion and the lines of people everywhere. I used the restroom and there was no toilet pap

They told me it would take 24 hours to receive funds but I still haven't received any funds and im a first time donor so would that be an easy lawsuit since its a breach in contract ??

Hi just a quick question but I used to donate at BioLife and I'm a returning donor after a year of not donating but willing to make money again and don't know how to transfer my stuff here in Florida I donated in idaho

I gave 3 stars, in part, because the amount of time it typically takes to go the whole donation process, and they do not provide any chairs for those in line to rest. The few times I've been there, the wait time between lining up for vitals and getting hooked up to the machine can be as long as 3-4 hours, for compensation as low as $40.00. That's a stupidly long time to be required to either stand on your feet or sit on the floor. I understand, from speaking with others, it's not always like that, but that

People were very kind there. It was a first appointment and I wasn't expecting to be there for nearly over 3 hours but I was. It was painless and not difficult. Physical takes the longest. They are very thorough. I was informed that every appt after would be a ton quicker. JT/Jessica was absolutely amazing. They were a bit understaffed at the front desk and checking in took a while longer than I thought it could have but not horrible. One lady seemed to be doing it all.

I recently visited BioPlasma as a potential new donor and had a mixed experience. While the customer service was very helpful, the overall process left much to be desired. Pros: ? Helpful Customer Service: The staff were kind and tried their best to assist me despite the challenges they were facing. ? Clean Facility: The facility itself was pretty clean, which was a positive aspect of my visit. Cons: ? Long Wait Times: Even with an appointment at 11:30 AM, I had to wait over an hour and a half for a phy

This is the best Plasma center. they care about you and your health and safety and the process is smooth and painless. definitely beats out CSL and Octapharma. BioLife is the best!!!!

Avoid this place, Jacksonville has many other plasma places to donate. Extremely understaffed!!!!!!!! Unless you want to wait 3 hours to donate don't come here. It's an absolute joke that they clearly don't care about their employees because corporate won't even let them take less appointments so they can get us in an and out faster. Google how much they make off your plasma, it's all about money while we make a whopping $115 a week. And that's for 6 hours of our time. Not worth it. Go to a different place.

This place is awful! Understaffed and overbooked. New donors beware! They will tell you a new donor's first visit will take up to 2 hours. In fact, a new donor visit will take over 3 hours. They overbook appointments and then make their donors wait hours to donate. Incredibly rude and unprofessional and don't value your time at all. If you have an appointment, and it turns out you are unable to donate, they won't inform you and make you waste your time travelling to the facility to find out. What ki

Unnecessarily extremely long wait times. I'm a loyal BioLife donor. I've donated close to 200 different times and different locations. The people in this facility simply don't move with a purpose. I've been to place lower staffed that can push out more people. Not enough techs and they move SLOWER when it's crowded. Very rude managers and overall, in 2021 going into 2022, this is not the place to donate comfortably with a reasonable schedule. You will be walking into THEIR time. I'm only one voice out of th

If you're lucky, Biolife will treat you with indifference, otherwise their interactions with donors range from rude to openly hostile. They over book appointments, so your appointment time has nothing to do with when you will actually donate. And they make you stand during the wait time. I stood for two hours today, and when I tried to sit in a chair that was there, I was told to get back in line. Then the nurse walked a favored donor to the front of the line, TWICE. Finally, I left without donating. I'm n

10 people in line at least 7 charis prepped and ready for next patients, machines going off left and right insinuating that they are done donating only one employee actually working... smh wish there was another location..

Update: After eights months I came back to Biolife to give it another chance. The front desk / vitals has found their groove and was a good experience. I see comments about few employees at intake but that is appropriate since the bottleneck is downstream. (In a hurry to wait in a different line?) The team on the floor is always hustling but polite and friendly. They are seriously understaffed. I dont know how they're still holding on and not walking out. It's ridiculous. 8 mo ago I complained about waiting

Safe, clean, and the people there is so nice and polite! They make an amazing job.

First appointment went very well, really fluid and everyone was very knowledgeable. It was my first time giving plasma or blood or anything, and they did a great job explaining the process and I went in calm and ready. The people were really friendly too. Definitely coming back.

The lack of care for patients is painfully obvious to even the most casual observer. As a potential donor, when I arrived, I was treated as though I was either a criminal, or had the plague, or both. The lady who spoke to me looked as though she was bored, or had better things to do, and regardless of the website stating walk inside for new donors was acceptable, she said otherwise. Appointments only. As I turned to leave, she added further insult on me when I watched her look in the direction of another e

No profesionalism by the staff turned me away. First time donor and I got yelled at, I am 68 and at this age I deserve to ge treated with respect and kindness. If you want to donate plasma do it where they can treat you politely

The MOST slowest center in Jacksonville . Why make an appt when your never seen at that time you literally are not hooked up untill almost 3 hours later!

It's a nice location with a friendly staff but they are also very short staffed. Unfortunately I had an issue regarding my Alpha 2 levels so I was temporarily prevented from donating until they could retest my blood. They told me it would be a week until I get the results but it took 2 weeks before they allowed me to donate again. This means I can't finish my sign up promotion for extra money. The process is extremely slow and benefits them the longer they take

I had a new donor appointment. When I went into the facility Denila was working the counter and there were at least 5 people in front of me. Denila helped everyone at the front counter but when it was my turn she left me at the counter and didn't even acknowledge me. I watched her go into one of the rooms and shut the door. I ended up asking one of the other workers what was her name and when she heard her name she opened the door and said "huh".. but never acknowledge me. I am originally from Houston Tx a

This is a long one, sorry. I chose biolife because they had a coupon to make $800 if you did 8 donations within 30 days and they keep canceling my appts. 1st 2 appts went smoothly. My 3rd appt, I was checking in, and the computer told me I wasn't eligible. I couldn't get anybody to ask why so I called and left 3 msgs! After 4 days, I called right when they opened and got a human. She said my protein tests hadn't come in by my appt but they received them the day before so I could come donate now. I'm not sur

Great staff. I go to the Arlington location. Definitely one of the best donating companies to go to. Everyone is kind and efficient. I've been going over a month now. The staff is skilled and knowledgeable and well trained. New donor bonus coupon sometimes doesn't work or isn't sent to you right away so you might have to contact their online help but they are easy to work with. Heads up You have to sign up and schedule all online. No walk-ins so be prepared and on time. On the website they tell you the fir

It was pretty smooth and organized process. It does take some time so make sure you have that time available about 3 hours . It was my first time so maybe that's why . Everybody was nice and respectful in a sense of the staff.

The Arlington BioLife in Jacksonville is just plain scary. No chairs for people waiting, each apt takes at least 3 hours. Way too many people booked at the same time and very unprofessional employees. Also Because of the hurricane and I've gotten sick, the 800 bonus is no longer available since I can't go 2 days this week and it's an hour drive for me to get there. I have anxiety which makes the vitals fall sometimes bc my resting heart rate is over 100 sometimes. Not worth it anymore

I have been followed by a group of religious born-again "reformed" addicts, i went to donate plasma at this location yesterday. Clearly saw that i was being targeted, once again. Waited two hours, was asked a number of personal questions completely unrelated to donating plasma, and told that i was not eligible to donate. Note, the man following me went to see the doctor for just one second prior to him asking me these unrelated personal questions, before he turned me away. I donated plasma at another loca

Hello I'm Juanita, I want to thank Mrs. Ashley (Nurse), Mrs. Kat (vital sign taker), Mr. Romey (Phlebotomist), and Hailey (Nurse) for their kindness during my first visit to the Bio Life center on Atlantic Blvd. They were extremely professional and were willing to help me throughout the entire process. I was very worried because of the reviews I read before visiting Bio Life, but I had a nice experience and thanks to them. I advise you to visit the center and have your own experience because it does not nec

August 27, 2024. I arrived for my appointment and the center had not opened yet. It opened about 7:50 am. By then, the line was so long, I could not wait. I drove 18 miles to get there, then 18 miles home. This is bad. Couldn't you have sent out a text? It was my first donation of the week, so I just cancelled the seconded one too. Very disrespectful of donors and unprofessional. You need to learn how to run your business.

I'm a regular donor from Lakeland, Fl here in Jacksonville I came across something very familiar amazing staff starting from being acknowledged upon entering. Friendly high energy from the nurse!! Joey was amazing. Bruja in the back to receive my donation was very nice very helpful in making sure I was comfortable I'll be back!! Highly recommended

I've been gone for a while because I need a physical. Once I got my appointment Joy was very helpful and tell me about my next appointment. And the staff was very friendly. I see something usuals are gone but they're doing the best I can

This location is understaffed and does not utilize the color coded system like other locations I've visited. I waited approximately 30-40 minutes to get to a bed. It's taken up to an hour + at this location before. Talking to some people who donate as well, the time it takes to be seen added into the lower compensation lately has made it difficult for some to fit it into their schedule and justify. The local staff on the floor are excellent in handling people, but they just don't have enough staff or good p

This place is an absolute scam. Last two appointments I spent well over 1.5hrs and never got in a chair to donate. This time I show up and need a ?physical? even though the app said I'm good until Sept. The reasoning? Because I ?missed? my last appt. No I didn't! I showed up and was there for almost 2 hours and never got to donate! This place is so unorganized, so unfriendly, and very unprofessional. Your time is worth more than they pay - did the math, most of the time I barely made min wage for the time I

Not only will you earn extra money, the well trained staff and larger reservoir machines will have you in and out in good timing. Like anywhere, not always is all floor staff on location. Life happens to them also. But these machines reservoirs are larger, making the returns faster. So you will be off the bed sooner than Grifolds. And what a better way to help others than the life saving plasma autonomously and be compensated for it. Without a name or face is what that big word means. As auto immune infecti

This place is very unorganized, and non friendly . After waiting almost 2 hours to donate with an appointment scheduled , the woman with dreads who does physicals was very rude. Already had an attitude prior to walking in the physical room. Asked me if I ate 2-3 hours prior and told her yes . She asked how much, I told her enough. She said that wasn't good enough.. who are you to tell me how much I ate . She then proceeds to tell me she's gonna reschedule my appointment . Which is now one month from today .

I switched from Normandy location Because my wait time over there was 3.5 hours then 30 mins to get hooked up waiting on the bed, well yes they are understaffed @ this location as well. It still only a wait time of an hour in line before getting on a bed that is normal to me so not bad I will come back here it's worth the less 5.00$

The staff have, by and large, been curt and dismissive of my concerns and questions. They are more concerned with processing patients and extracting what they want than working with us and making the process as seamless as possible. The first time I donated, even after stating that I had weak veins, and requesting the draw and return rate to be lowered, it was not, and as a result, only half of what they wanted was extracted, and I was left with pain, a nasty bruise and bleeding out of the injection point g

Friendly staff , professional at their work , efficient service !! Very pleasant and enjoyed the process ??

Nicer location. Pays more but quality sucks. No point in making appointments if you still wait longer or people that enter 20 minutes after you go before you do. Process takes longer from the computer check, to the screen line than the line to be given a bed in the back. Other locations have 1 line or 1 line and computer check. This place 2 lines and computer screen. The extra 5 or 10 dollars no worth the extra hour or two you spend here.

Poor customer service all around. My first donation took like 3hrs and the employees in the back stuck my arm really roughly and the needle was loose it left my vain kind of damaged it feels. My arm has been popping recently, because I really needed the money I've been trying to go back the past few days and I don't have a car so the first time I came back to donate they sent me away because I needed to have mail to verify my address. That was my fault so I came back today, mind you I don't have a car and a

Kiara was really rude, condescending and unhelpful. Everyone else at this center was great

This facility was so GHETTO. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes before anyone came or even said anything to me. Then the women who do the vitals at the front were completely unprofessional and they feel the need to finish their own conversations before they service the donors. When they call you up they don't greet you. They completely ignore your presence until they are done talking then stop constantly to continue talking. The nurse was great she was very nice and professional. The phlebotomists wer

Most of the time appointments are overbooked and you will stand in line for an hour or longer.

Why the process in itself is quite fast, the lack of staff makes the wait time unbearable. I arrived at 1037AM for a 1045AM appointments it's currently 2:24 and I'm just now leaving. BioLife please pay your staff more or you will continue to lose business because that makes no sense. Also improve the process with a set up and breakdown team. It doesn't have to be such an egregious process.

Compared to other places where I've donated, BioLife Plasma Services has by far surpassed the rest in professionalism, cleanliness, and they have you in and out in no time. They're organized which helps speed up the process and the staff is both friendly, engaging, and professional. If you are interested in donating plasma and saving lives while earning an extra little money then I highly recommend this location!

Paid for a baby sitter to donate on my day off but there was a power outage. Missed the weekly donation since my appointment was on a Sunday. Staff did not offer any type of accommodations.

Do NOT go to this business if you have ever had skin cancer, they will waste hours of your time. Refused to let you donate, insist that you must go fetch medical records for them. I have never been treated so unfairly, or made to feel like I might harm someone else over something I had no control over. Cancer is NOT CONTAGIOUS!

Racism is real and it is especially real at this place, was pulled in to office after waiting there for 2 hours, was told that it's best if I was deferred cause I said something to management about it going so slow with employees just standing around talking, I've got video and pics to confirm. When I tried to stick up for myself I was called a cracker by the center manager and was told to hurry up and record that. When will these people be held accountable!

First visit was almost 3 hours long. You have to go through a lot of steps and the place seems to be understaffed. I was told that future visits should be a lot quicker, probably 1 hour tops. 3rd visit, I've been here over an hour and still haven't even donated. Long lines, long wait times. Staff is not enough to keep up with the amount of people they allow to schedule donations. They either need to adjust the amount of scheduled donations allowed or hire more personnel.

This place used to be great and move efficiently. Now however, it's a hot mess. You will wait in the line after the computer for a MINIMUM of 45 minutes and it doesn't matter if there are only 4 people in front of you or 14. They took more than half of the donation beds away too. So that mixed with 1 person pricking fingers that moves as slow as molasses and you are there for at least 2 hours and that's on a good day. I used to be in and out within 45 minutes to an hour? now it takes that long to get throug

Every time I visit bio life I'm greeted with smiles of respect and kindness, especially from the young lady at front desk I believe her name is Hailey, she's always very professional never have I seen her without a smile and cheerful attitude and she always makes sure to help me as best she can if any problems with my visit.. thanks Hailey you're the best hun :)

The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable about their services. It's a fairly quick process and they do it very efficiently. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is interested in donating. To make it even better, there is a very short wait time

As a first time donor i was nervous going in but from the first staff member to the last there was no lack of friendliness. the facility was very clean and sanitary, the staff was very informative and attentive. towards the end of my donation i had fallen nauseous and a staff member had come by to check on me (staff regularly checks on you!) and within 30 seconds of me telling her i was not well 2 other staff members came over and took care of me. they turned a scary situation into an easy one, there is no

So unprofessional especially the Black nurse with cornrolls. I asked a simple question when would I be seen after 17 minutes past my appointment at 1:30 pm without saying anything. She jumped down my throat saying don't you see me helping these people. So rude all she had to do was say I apologize for your wait I will help you next or as soon as I can. It's still almost 35 minutes past my appointment and I haven't heard anything. They treat you like you''re not human. She's deliberately ignoring me so un

Waited over an hour and a half to even start donating in an EMPTY center?.I've donated for 3+ years and this comes close to the worst experience I've had out of all of the Jacksonville plasma centers and dozens of donations. I came in with zero people ahead of me. Had to wait 5 minutes to get approved for a single questions which meant 5 - 10 people went in front of me? had a 1:35 appointment and started donating at 3:15. I can understand being understaffed but taking donors who waited 5 - 10 minutes befo

This is the best plasma center in Jacksonville!! The staff that they have are always hardworking, professional, and friendly. If you find yourself looking for a place to donate i highly recommend this one.

Came in and found out there was an issue with my physical but it was handled fast and professional. The beautiful young blonde at the front door always has a smile and the patience of Job. I look forward to seeing her as she brightens up my day. . Don't let her go, you got a good one BioLife

I feel sorry for the staff they are doing the best they can do but the snow bunny up front with the bird nose they could do without. Definitely part of the problem

The blonde receptionist that works at the Arlington location and all the staff need a reminder that they are dealing with humans and most the time the people coming in are not doing this for fun. Most of them are hardworking moms and dads whose 9 to 5 job is not cutting it in this insane economy. OR maybe they are a mom of 6 who doesn't get paid for 2 days who floated in on 4 dollars after driving from Clay County just to have enough groceries & gas to make it till direct deposit hits. But arguing about a t

This place needs to hire more staffing. They have signs posted stating ?it's your hour? but it's more like 2 hours because the wait time due to staff shortages. They recently implemented new machines that are supposed to be faster but seems to cause more hematoma incidents than before. Then you have to wait standard 8 weeks to donate again. Only positive is the friendly staff.

(1) girl cut 5 ppl in line (2) apx 10 of us were sent away as they didn't have enough staff for the remainder of our donation.

Only give three stars! Now I know why I was deferred for two months! Now they can pay 40.00. Overall staff friendly, wait time not long. I about two hours very happy with that. One more thing website is hard to get on to make appointment and nobody answers phone

After attempting to donate today, I left in tears from frustration because the staff is unprofessional. Refused to listen to what I had to say and chose to belittle me and talk to me like I'm stupid. Asked to wait 10 minutes to retake vitals, only made me wait 5 minutes to be turned away. Refused to let set my own 10 minute timer because only their timers are allowed. It's the end of the day and everyone is rushing everyone just so they can go home. I shouldn't be leaving in tears and basically being told I

This place is unbelievably understaffed? You will spend almost all your day in here? They are out of saline now ppl have to wait to leave and drink Gatorade and I feel like if this a place of business why don't yall have everything that is needed to do the job how it should be done!!! I been stopped coming to this place too much for only 60/40 bucks!!!

This place is literally the WORST place you can go to in Jacksonville. WHY ARE YOU FORCED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, JUST TO GET THERE AND HAVE IT BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Do better. DO BETTER! Save your time and go to HEMARUS PLASMA. This place is a JOKE! Not to mention, the phlebotomist that stuck my fiance in a HURRY and walked away, snagged the line & ripped it straight out of his arm! Left the cuff on tight and everything as he sat there BLEEDING OUT because she couldn't just take the time to do her job

Staff is indifferent and dismissive. They treat people like cattle, not humans. During my last visit, the phlebotomist inserted the needle aggressively and painfulIy, ended up with a hematoma. Not likely to return. They also complain about how the facility is run in front of everyone. Unprofessional.

Should definitely have a way for donors to be able to voice their concerns without being talked down on. Especially when the the person sticking them is playing with co workers instead of paying attention to donor needs, such as forgetting to turn on the machine after sticking your donors, and the donors hand changing colors due to their mishap. Yes, we are all human and make mistakes, but this is an avoidable mistake.

All of the employees are very friendly, but they seem to always be short staffed. 2 hrs after my appointment and I still hadn't started donating yet ??

Absolutely horrible receptionist. If you have an appointment, they give you 10 mins for a grace period, and if you're 12 mins late, they kick you out and tell you they don't care if you uber there or need the money. They literally are nasty people. Literally just happened to someone I know & it's bullcrap. You're gonna tell them you can't take them, but then you take 7 people after them. That's ridiculous & they need a reality check or something. People donate because they need the money and then you turn t

Much more efficient as of late. Wait time from appointment to chair was reasonable. Thank you, Richard Lehman

Would give a no star if I could. One of the worst plasma donation centers in Jacksonville. The staff has no regard for your time. Way to incompetent, unfriendly and they just don't care about how they inconvience you. Even with having an appointment. The so-called phlebotomists are unskilled and play around too much instead of being serious about their job. They don't know how to stick properly. I got deferred for 8 weeks on my very first visit because I was stuck wrong with the needle and they had to stop

Ive been there a couple times. The staff is excellent. Sometimes its a little full but they try to get you in and out. Just be on time that's all i can say, it's by apppointment only

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was it was my first time and I wasn't greeted or told where to go. I waited in the regular doner line and had told the counter nurse and she told me where to go. After we got that sorted everything went smoothly! Also it's really cold here bundle up!

I was scheduled for a verbal appointment because my protein was low when I came. They called and cleared me to donate that when she verbally told me 12:30pm. I came early to my appointment ahead of time and they changed my appointment time to 1:30pm without notify me. I am so disappointed they wanted me to sit outside for a hour in 100 plus degrees. If I wasn't struggling and in need of the money. This unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

I've been to this location three times in the last ten days, and I've been miss stuck twice. I have big veins and don't know why it's so hard to hit a big vein. They do this day in and out. My wife has tried for over two weeks to get in and donate as a new doner, but can't its always full. I don't get it. Most of the staff are not very personable. I wouldn't say they are rude per say, but I think they are overworked. They need more staff.

Clean facility. Friendly staff. Great experience all around.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. My only negative with Biolife is that their "Rewards" online redeem System's functionality has been down for months; therefore, donors can't redeem their reward points. Not good.

Poor scheduling. appointment 10:55 stood line for 1hour and 15 mins before they called me to donate. 1 hour of your time to donate is a BIG crock! If your under staffed then don't allow as many scheduled donations.I was there 2 hours and 20 mins. Very inconsistent.

I have been a consistent donor for over two months, sadly I believe I won't be going back. In my most recent experience I was turned away from donations due to me leaving out briefly to grab my charger. I had already been checked in however I have asked to do this so many times prior and been told yea no problem that I didn't hesitate. Upon returning inside the building I was greeted with two employees who explained that I should have read the door. After reading the door I decided to leave because it doesn

Everyone gets a ?copy and paste? answer to these reviews. ????????????????????- 1. Understaffed and Overwhelmed (7to1) 2. The employees seem not to care and voice it openly with frustrated looks. 3. Really Long lines 4. Low compensation$ for time required from ?start to finish?. 5. Diverse group of people, but music only reflects one demographic.

I made an appointment for 10:40. It has now been 40 minutes and I still haven't moved through. There is someone here who has been waiting since 10:10. The money offered is good, but you shouldn't be allowing appointments to be made unless as a business, you can make sure they are met in a reasonable time. No one at the desk told me I would be waiting for 40 plus minutes. You should stop making appointments if you cant honor them!

Poor customer service, short staff and slow waited almost 3hrs to donate as a regular donor early in the morning, it was very sad. I think the center should offer at least a snack while waiting because their short staffed and water to the long line of people waiting just standing on their feet for 3-4hrs and if not then give us more money for our donation

The welcoming staff that provides check ins and vitals are both understaffed and not managed well. They have too many side conversations and fail to understand that there are 10 people in line with a great influx of new donors, so the line never moves. Be prepared to stand in line for an hour because there is about 5 employees at the check-in station but usually only 1 is doing vitals while the 2nd just went to lunch and the other 3 are helping new donors with great urgency. I fully understand and like the

It still takes two and a half hours to donate even with more technicians. I arrived early one Sunday morning to donate and the nurse for that day did not show up so they were closed. I was never compensated. That was supposed to be my second donation of the week and I was supposed to receive $75. Never did. Very disappointed.

From my 1st time coming everyone has been nice/understanding. In your 1st apt you need a physical and it's expected to spend at least 2 hours. My experience was longer but was compensated for my time. And they made time for me to come in as soon as I could for my 1st donation. ALSO I've had Rebecca twice taking my vitals/check and she's my fave & fun to talk to! Make sure you know your going to spend an hour or 2 each time & you won't be disappointed ??

Been donating since opening back in October 2020, and I have ZERO problems with the facility. Of course, it's crowded now more than ever and working what they can for what staff they have to accommodate new donors, I completely understand. . Their promotions, coupons and tiers are also a plus. Facility is clean and staff is quite understanding for the high volume of frustrated folks who come and go. . The wait times are definitely need work. It's per appointment, but there should be a cap. Maybe for new don

I went down there for the first time today. I just want inform the public, if they don't already know about Biolife's employees. These are some of the rudest women I've ever seen.! I went in there today and asked for assistance , and got sent to the wrong area, so then I tried to ask one of the women at the front desk for assistance and she looked at me, rolled her eyes and then started talking to someone else. At this point , I was heated so I just nodded my head and walked out, to try not to cause a scene

Quick in and out, especially with the new machines. Staff is always nice and pleasant, my only complaint is that it's impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone, if you leave a voicemail no one ever gets back to you unfortunately. Update: Some of my bloodwork caused me to be deferred for a bit. I went in and did new bloodwork, they assured me I would receive a call and an email regarding my bloodwork results. 2 1/2 weeks came and went with no call or email. I called the center and left multiple voicema

I have not donated plasma in 30 years and Jo Bob made my visit easy and seamless! I recommend this place. Be kind to those businesses that are a bit understaffed because they are doing the best they can.

Don't waste your time coming here. You'll spend half your day waiting, and even after looking for conditions to donate online, once I stated on their check-in system that I had a condition I was told I couldn't donate until I got a drs note after I spent hours here. Most staff members were either blatantly rude or at the best indifferent. No respect for others or their time. Seriously, unless you really need the money, don't come here.

Everyone at the Arlington location is very personable. Fransisco, Mike, Rebecca, Brittany, and Jessica are always helpful, able to answer any questions I have. The other donors make the process fund as well. A donation can usually average about an hour and a half. I'm always able to make the best of the time. It's nice to have the extra money and the conrodery.

Being a new donor, I was a bit nervous. Happily, the staff is the bestest, funny, friendly, and family orientated. The laughs I had with Francisco, Mrs.Reece, Hailey, and a couple others is a memory added in my book. I will be back!! Thank you for making me feel special ??

The woman at the front office I believe her name is Ashley, she was so professional and well spoken to my needs . She definitely deserves praise thank you Ashley!

Darn. Read some of the recent reviews. Was hoping the wait times improved since last time I donated. I donated a lot when they first opened this facility then wait times got longer, lines got longer, to where it meant nothing to have a scheduled appointment time. I'd like to donate again but I have a regular job and other things to do during the day and can't wait hours to donate.

So far, they completely could not stick me properly during my first visit. On my third visit, they hit the wrong button in the system and could not figure out how to take the hold off. So I had to reschedule and come back the next day, which threw off my schedule. When I came back the next day, they had not had a manager fix the hold as they promised. So I had to wait to see a manager to have the hold lifted. The manager said they should never have put a hold on, and he said he lifted it. After going throug

The staff is sweet. But the wait time is insane.

I have been trying g tj get an appointment for a week. No one ever answers the phone e and the online portal said no appointment available. CSL. Plasma has answered the phone and set me up with no problems. Too bad BioLife can't get their act together. They lost my business.

They make you work for your money. The first visit was about 4 hours long since you have to do a physical and do a questionnaire and all of that, but that's fine, I was expecting a long visit. After that they said you can expect to be there "about an hour". Well my second visit was 2 hours, because I answered "yes" to the question about having a vaccine recently, because I got the flu shot a couple of weeks ago. I had to wait for 30 minutes to talk to the single nurse that was working this particular aftern

They're trying their best here and are really nice. But man it's so frustrating with the lack of clearly marked directions here. I was new, but there was no one at the front desk when I got in, so I went and waited in line with everyone else. An hour later, I found out I had to do a special process for new donors. Everyone was nice to me explaining after the fact, but it still wasted over an hour of my time. To clarify, the people at the front also have to fix problems and answer questions, so they're over

This place was beyond unsanitary. I went on a super busy day to try and donate plasma. I had an appointment but still waited over an hour to talk to someone. In the waiting room they had the trash for the used needles less then a foot away from where people were sitting and you could see them. Once I finally was able to talk to someone they took my blood pressure. As they are taking my heart rate someone walks to the front desk with a collapsed vein and in pain. My heart rate was high so they asked me to w

Where do I start? The lack of information and explanation to a 1st time donor is very unprofessional. After the longest wait process the last step prior to being approved to donate is sitting down with a so called wanna be doctor to get the final approval. I was rejected after being there for over 3 hours because apparently a neck surgery I had over 10 years ago, but funny thing I went to another location and my surgery had nothing to do with my donation!! They pick and chose who they want and its not fai

BEWARE DONORS BEWARE. I was ripped off for $70 bucks and was supposed to get $110 and they only gave me $40 and it was supposed to be my last new donor pay for me and was donating for my mom's $128 co pay to see a Dr for her tumor/mass in her both lungs ?? and have grown 6cm in under a month. Deadly if untreated soon due to rapid growth, blood in her mucus, unable to breathe right, so much pain, etc no one else is helping my mommy. She takes care of these people's kids that don't want them and choose to be

Wonderful place to donate in Jacksonville. The staff are very courteous and friendly as well as informative. But one worker in particular name is dee, and she goes far and beyond her way to help us donors if we need any questions asked, appointments etc. Very nice and sweet person. The staff and this center deserves10 stars from me ??

I've had only good experiences here at BioLife. The facility is always clean. And the staff is amazing. Just to name a few, Bethany, Stephanie, Storm, Anjelike, Madison, Nick, Marco, Ashley, and the general manager (blanking on his name, sorry!) are all so friendly, professional, and I look forward to seeing them twice a week. All the employees here are insanely hard workers, and deal with so much on a daily basis, so thank you guys for all that you do!

Don't. Think. I'll. Be. Going. Back. Twice. I've. Been. Shorted. The. Amount. I. Was. Told. I. Was. Going. To. Get!

Slow. Why bother having an appointment system when it takes people 2-3 hrs to get on a bed to start donating. If you plan on donating at least expect to be there for 5-6 hrs

If I could give a "ZERO" star I would!!! First few visits were pleasant and didn't take long. Lately the Wait times have been atrocious. The staff seems to have NO fidelity to there very loyal customers. They do not answer the phone nor do they return messages. Ive called before while standing at the front desk and the phone doesnt even ring. Ive left multiple messages and never got a returned call. This is a problem that needs to be improved on but those changes can and are simple. However the compla

Had a pretty good experience. The last time I was here was about a year ago, so had to go through the physical screening process again. The staff was friendly throughout the whole experience. The only thing-the music blaring. I think that if the facility wants to play music- that's great, but it should be more of a variety instead of one type of music. Literally gave me a headache. Also, due to gap time of my first donation (about a year), I was considered a new donor. The pay out is not that much compare

Great environment, friendly staff. I enjoy it every time.

Good luck if you want a morning appointment. Never enough people scheduled to open time. They won't even talk to you or tell you why. They don't care that they waste your time.

I stopped donating at this place a year ago but figured I would give them another try,but nope same nonsense same rude staff that don't care anything about you or your time. I'm currently sitting here almost 30 minutes past my appointment time all due to the older black lady with short ponytail refuses to unlock my questions. She's literally helping everyone else instead if the people that are specifically waiting on her. I would walk right out if I didn't need to feed my kids but I most definitely will not

Ms. Ashley and Ms. Cat are fantastic. They helped educate me on the process so that there were no surprises. The facility is clean and runs smoothly.

Before this place I never donated blood or plasma before. So initially, I was a little concerned just because I typically don't like needles or blood lol. But it is worth it if it can help save a life. My experience with Biolife Plasma has been great. I donated here 4 times, and each time they were very professional, compassionate, and they answered all questions I had pertaining to donating blood. They make sure you feel good and relaxed throughout the entire process, least in my personal experience. So I

The staff are all very kind and answer any questions you may have. I have donated at different centers in Orlando, which usually take around 2 and a half hours to donate. However, my experience at this location in Jacksonville was much quicker even though they were busy with many donors, the whole process took only a little more than an hour. I'll definitely be returning to this location!

I didn't get paid after donating, and as the last donor on 11/17/2024 I believe they were in a hurry to leave because they closed early this day.

This is my second Review of BioLife. Unfortunately, the first wasn't a positive review due to excessive waits over 1 hour before sitting in the chair to give a donation. However, they have worked hard to train new employees and the overall attitude of staff seems to be much more positive. They are attentive, constantly checking to see if the donor is comfortable, and working hard to make waits less of an inconvenience. Good job on hearing reviews and making adjustments.

Good staff and all are good at doing needle sticks , a few are better. Iv been coming here for nearly two months and unfortunately the entire time, the soap dispenser has been empty and hand dryer inoperable in the womens restroom. Iv mentioned it to staff performing the checks at the counter and juat get "ok". I'm guessing the staff has the benefit of having their own restrooms to use while people donating have to byo hand sanitizer.

This place is the absolute worse donation center I've ever been to & I have been donating for 17 yrs.. Most of the employees are either extremely rude or absolutely no personality or facial expressions . Just robotic. The donor area is the dirtiest of any center visited. Plastic..plastic caps ,tubes , paper all over the floors & don't get me started about trying to call there for ANY REASON (I called to find out if my sample came back (that THEY LOST)so I can continue to donate) I was literally on hold

Not a reliable center.I have had problems with them keeping their appointments.I drove 45 minutes to find out I would be put on a call list.I would have appreciated a phone call or a message notifying me of this delay.Iwas told it would only be a few minutes and have been waiting now 30 minutes and have not heard back from them yet.Just poor communication that could have been avoided with a simple message. The one person who responded to my original review said that they want to speak directly to me.But,

This response is directed towards BLP as a whole and not a particular location site. With all the advertising you flood with emails and help the donated plasma is said to do, why do you downgrade and disrespect the donor by dropping the donation price point after two donations? If this multi-use plasma is beneficial towards prolonging life, keep the price point higher. I'm sure donor donations would continue to increase and be at an all time high!!

I have donated plasma at Biolife for some time now. The space itself is extremely clean and professional. The staff are friendly and know what they are doing. It is clear that they treat every donor with gratitude and dignity. The scheduled appointment times keep in mind that the donor?s time is valuable and so there is never a crowd. My experience at Biolife is definitely five stars.

Kindof feel bad leaving a one star review, but it's been two and a half months now that I have been trying to schedule my next donation. They told me 2 months ago that they were just waiting on paperwork because of some snow stormand I have unsuccessfully been trying to schedule another appointment. I tried to call many many times since then to try to talk to somebody and figure out if there was anything else that I could do but nobody has answered the phone. It rings three times and then goes to a voicemai

I have been trying to reach this place by phone for 4 days to make an appointment for new donor. I tried making an appointment on the app but it will not let me. It says my email is not correct. I BELIEVE I KNOW MY OWN EMAIL THAT IVE HAD FOR 14 YEARS! Besides that.... I do not understand why it is so difficult for a business to answer their phone. I've never had to call anywhere that many times with no results. I can understand they are busy sometimes...BUT, 4 DAYS?!!!!?

I don't understand why people are complaining about the wait time. Of course there's a wait time! It's a pandemic! And we are lucky to have these nice people here who are still willing to do their job, knowing the dangers!!! The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and their boss, Matt, actually stays ALL DAY when they are short-staffed and does HIS job AS WELL AS the jobs of his employees. You don't see that every day. BioLife is a great company and we are lucky to have them!!!

First time donor, A friend who has a family member in need posted on Facebook to consider donating. So I made an appointment. I got a call at 9:40 to cancel my 10 am appointment for donation. They said still come in to pick up a $50 coupon And get my physical. When I got there they said they are understaffed and can't do my physical but gave me a $50 coupon and told me to reschedule. So I rescheduled. This time checked in at 12:30. It's now 4pm and I'm still not done. I got my stuff entered into the compute

Staff is great but Donations are increasingly taking too long to wait for screening and wait for a bed. Major deterrent for returning.

Just wanted to let all the readers know these reviews are so CAP. I mean just read'em and tell me it doesn't sound like folks just being bratty. When you go to the doctors your appt is at 9AM but you won't get seen til 10AM. If you go to a theme park you WILL stand in line in the baking sun for a 45 second ride. If you go ANYWHERE there is a flock of people you are going to have to wait. Period. As far as donors being treated with preference, that's also CAP. It's called being a NEW donor. Everybody had tha

Vianca are great!!! Always smiling, working and keeping us laughing. I feel like family. And the ladies in the reception area are the absolute greatest. They deal with some characters but they carry themselves exceptionally well.

This is the nicest and most professional place in the city, in My opinion. I love the appointments instead of chaotic walk ins. Seanny is THE BEST. I forgot the red head girls name but she's awesome too. They all are. They don't stand around yelling about their weekend parties or drama like other places I've been. They don't complain and although it's hard to see their faces under than that, they are always smiling. Plus they actually take care of their donors cause there's always promotions.

I've give this facility great reviews for employees friendliness. But poor on the way it is currently operating. I live 40+minutes from this facility, my appointment was at 11:20. When I show up I'm told they are only taking groups of 3 at a time and it will be a 40min wait to be called in. I completely understand many places are short staffed but I never received an email nor an automated call stating this was what was going on. It would have been nice to know before making the trip. I did however get a "s

Don't go to biolife!! They will tell you its a 15 minute wait but you end up waiting an hour in the heat and when they check your heart rate it will be high and you can't donate. My appointment was at 11:50 and ended up getting told at 1:30 that I couldn't donate. They refuse to decrease appointment times despite the issue and being understaffed. When I confronted the manager about it he said they won't do it. Not to mention he was rude about it

Ill give this a 3. First time there and everything was going smoothly until i saw the nurse. She is as rude as can be. Im 67 and needed the extra cash. Why put people through the whole process only to be told no by the nurse. I was informed by the nurse that i needed a sign off from my doctor before i could donate. I can understand this since im a senior citizen. When i asked the nurse why did i go through the sign on process then if i needed a sign off from my doctor. Her answer was because im the n

Rude staff, horribly long wait times even though you have to make an appointment. Their pay is lower than other places as well. Today one of the staff members brought their dog onto the donation floor!! I also got verbally assaulted by the nurse because she was angry with another donor standing beside me. I will be finding a new center to donate at and contacting corporate after my experience today.

A complete mess! If you are understaffed then quit overbooking, it's not that hard of a concept. I won't even go into detail about the two horrible experiences I had as other reviewers had the same experience. They could care less about the wait times because they know people are desperate for the money. If you guys need someone to organize your schedule, let me know. I could do a heck of a lot better than whoever is doing it now. A whole messsss!

I am done!! Inadequate staffing combined with very low payout, well below competitors, is sending me elsewhere. Also no 9 donations in a month bonus. Great marketing but no substance!!

Employees are extremely polite, helpful and knowledgeable. With that said tho, this BioLife is operated pretty poorly. It's a relatively small center yet any time I've gone here 1/2 the donation beds are empty with the waiting line wrapped around half the facility. Even in some sections where there's workers present for that section, some beds are still open and waiting with no one in them. I donated for years at the BioLife in Mt. Pleasant, MI while a student at Central Michigan University and that facili

This place is extremely slow. If your going in for your 1st time you can expect to have a 3 hour wait until you get through the physical and questions and another 1 or more to donate. If you have any thing like sleep apnea they'll make sure you have your doctor fill out a waiver and you won't be able to donate. They don't tell you this until you've already spent 3 hours waiting. Complete waste of time. I've donated before at other locations and never had this. I'll never go back.

Takes forever to get through the lines.I had a 12.00 app. And finally got done with the process of just getting on a table to donate. They make you stand outside in the triple diget degree heat waiting on the to call you on your phone. They only had 2 tech. Overall need to really consider another donation sight. It took a total of over 4 hours

The Staff was excellent from the nurse to the manager walking me out and making sure I was ok to go home. Thank you Sam, Stacey and Octavia for an exceptional experience!

Waiting an hour for seats that are clearly open is completely unacceptable. Plain and simple. We have things to do as well and shouldn't be subject to techs moving when they want to move. If the job description fast paced the employees are moving slow as dirt

I will no longer be donating at this facility. Aside from the staff being completely rude and acting like your presence is inconvenient for them, I question their qualifications. The staff member who put the needle into my arm did not just miss the vein, but went completely through it having to adjust it 3 times! My bicep is now black and blue due to the injection site.

I have been donating a while, and honestly there has always been a wait time at all of them; but I agree. I do not understand the appointments. I NEVER GET IN AT MY APPOINTMENT TIME. Other plasma donation centers can be excused when having long wait times because people just show up. This is the first time I have had to schedule my donations, which would not be a problem, IF I ACTUALLY DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT AN HOUR OR MORE LIKE TODAY. NO WHERE TO SIT INSIDE, OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN AND HEAT WAITING ON A BUZZER.. I

They really need to close the doors. The wait times are beyond ridiculous . my first donation took over 5 hrs . on my second over 3 . U would think whoever the manager is u would see him out on the floor helping assist his staff to expedite donors , but no u dont or wont. Just poor management. Idk weather they have a staffin issue or scheduling conflicts but obviously management is inept to deal with.

-5 star. Very rude staff . And have one appointment in the app and wait list inside for real? You have to stay here at least 3 hours waiting outside and is very hot if you have car good if not you have to stay outside. I understand you don't have workers but always there are different ways to do better and now the people inside don't know anything about the customer support, they just know be rude.

I've been going here for a few months now. When I initially began coming here, things seemed a bit chaotic but, overtime, seemed to get more organized. There were a variety of personalities working at the location I'd visited and not all were pleasant from day one. From lackadaisical, overly chatty, and seemingly distracted staff members to terse, grumpy, miserable staff members, they've got variety. I'd be genuinely surprised if I was lucky enough to get one of the more competent and task oriented phleboto

This location has gotten better! There are newer employees that are nice and polite. There are no longer the long lines and hours of wait. There are smiling faces like Ms.Vianca, that will remember your name and say hi welcoming you in.

Today, back again and they can't seem to keep up with the fact take time to set aside to donate and come here having to wait in long lines instead of being to keep their appointments as scheduled. This place said when they opened up officially they're aiming to be the best plasma donation center in the city but yet are aiming lower than the set standard of Excellence they implied. This place is reddiculous...

Wonderful and helpful. Kiara and Earl are phenomenal. Listened to my questions and took the time to answer all them thoughtfully. Both were very mindful and caring. Every time I have been, I've been treated better than the other center I have been to. It's bright, clean, and even though grand opening seem to have a more organized approach.

Donating at Biolife was one of the most mentally taxing things I have ever done in my life, and that is saying a lot seeing how I used to run a restaurant kitchen and an currently an honors student in an extremely difficult accounting course path. As far as the employees go, a good amount of them had excellent bedside manners. But the ones who didn't had terrible bedside manners. There was this one person in the donation area who was slinging things around left and right because they were upset. Donating w

Very fast,I mean it's got it's slow days but the professionalism and the facility...Very nice.Quick shout out to Vanessa the nurse,You the bomb ma.

Don't go here, false advertising. Rude people in the office

I have been sitting here waiting to be put on a machine for over 50 minutes now so I figured why not write a review while I'm waiting. This has been the norm for me here they take FOREVER to get you on the machine because it seems they are short-staffed and the type of machines they use make the process twice as long as it takes to donate at other centers that use the more common machines. I have watched 3 different people who came here after me be placed on the machine already and the phlebotomist (Stephan

I give one start because i was told that my blood was to (good) to donate. Tru story. Now i don't get what that means because no other place has said that. I tried to go there because i found it was closer. I still understand what (good) means especially when I worked at donation places years ago and up to this point have never heard that about my plasma. Just weird and thought i would share and maybe get some light on that

You make an appointment only to be made wait up to an additional hour just to be allowed to start the screening process. You then still must wait in the line for screening. After this return donor bonuses I will NOT be returning to this disorganization! 2 hours here I'm just now about to get stuck. RIDICULOUS.

***WARNING UNLESS YOU HAVE COUNTLESS HOURS TO WASTE DO NOT GO HERE*** Yes, patience must play a part with so many things effected by the Pandemic. However, the facility seems to have the staff...just mis-managed This location is extremely slow. The staff is nice and professional for the most part, The problem is not effective time management. On more than one occasion visits were over 4 hours!!!

Staff is friendly. But either they are way under staffed or way over booked. Signs all over say, it's your hour, make it count....that's a joke. Usually closer to 3 or more.

Visiting from Wisconsin and donated at BioLife in Jacksonville this evening. Francesco placed the needle in my arm effortlessly! He was very professional, extremely confident and put me at ease right away. He is truly an outstanding employee.

Every time I go to this place it takes an hour just to get to the point of donation. I stopped going for 6 months and now I basically have to start all over. I just spent an hour and a half with a mask on waiting even though I had an appointment at 1:30p. Only to be denied because my temp was "too high" and wouldn't retake it. You think it could be from breathing through a mask for 1.5 hours?? Well I checked it before I left my house and as soon as I got home a full degree lower. Bio Life has wasted countle

Very respectful, kind, and knowledgeable staff

Poor management. I understand that you are short staffed but when Matt, center manager, doesn't come out to help at all that's bull. Your employees work hard for you every day and you don't have the never to come out when they are slammed. Multiple employees were willing to stay to help out yet he couldn't bother to come out and help. He only came out to offer 25 return cards for people who wanted to return.

It is a Thursday they have one person doing vitals. There are many people who are sitting doing nothing in the office of center manager who are capable of testing.. They will not listen to the complaints of patrons or staff. I cant believe that managment has an attitude of anger and is taken it out on the patrons. I feel like I'm at an old DMV.. Mat Steuben nice job

Since Toby has taken over, I see more professionalism and order. The center still is understaffed - but I do see an improvement

First time donor took me 6 hours to complete and I had an appointment scheduled. I'm not sure the point in making appointments. It was insanely busy inside and a line outside. The staff were all on top of everything and very courteous. Props for handling that many people in one day.

Not paying doners. its been 7 hrs. And no money! I went all the way back after 3hrs. And there were others with the same concern. We were told it may be 24hrs. Before payed. Completely unacceptable

Mediocre. I was a long time BioLife donor in another state without any concern. I've had nothing but issues here, bad customer service and lack of communication since I attempted to join this center. Went today to attempt a donation and was turned away because I had pending blood work that I was told will take 7-14 days to return. I'm confused why that wasn't communicated at my last donation. It also conflicts with my promotion coupon so I won't be eligible for half the donations due to the waiting on blood

I've had some great experiences while donating here.. Arieal is THE BEST, I also love Quan and Kim (Assistant Manager) ?? Alex (Center Supervisor) is really helpful and kind. This center is the most organized donation center that I've been to with all kind staff. They also give promotions and high pay. I highly recommend it ?

Words cannot describe how terrible this place is. They lack proper communication skills, they have attitudes, really the bottom line is they don't care. I wish I could give negative stars.

Jessica Winebarger, yulee fla. From the time I walk in the door I always receive a friendly greeting. I've come to know quite a few of the workers and they've all been so helpful and patient. If I have questions the team and management is always there to give an answer. Ienjoy interacting with the techs and getting to know them..on rare occasion I have to wait for donation time but overall I'm in and out within an hour or less. Each person who has done my stick is super friendly and professional. It's a

This is a warning for anyone who chooses this place to donate blood. First time was a major nightmare, they do not respect an appointment time. I was seen 2 hours after my appointment time. The whole process took me 5 hours and 30 min of my time. After watching the videos and waiting on a nurse to give you a physical, you could see nurse Tasha I believe joking around and laughing with the co-workers while I waited to be seen for an extra 30min. It took two techs and one supervisor to insert multiple needles

Jehmia is very professional, and efficient at doing her job. She made sure I had no wait time once I was seated and the stick was painless 5stars!

To all the people that complain about the occasional long wait: no point to complaining. It's a medical office. Medical offices almost always run behind. And really? You're gonna complain because YOU have to wait for something that YOU don't pay for, but instead you get paid?! Really?! The phlebotomists are all great and deserve respect.

Need better management. Came in 3 times as new donor. 1st time they was short staff i was told to come back. 2nd time waited 3 hours and was told not enough time to donate i was told to come back. 1st donation the young phlebotomist which was a manager could not stick me. She got another phlebotomist under her to restick me. 2nd donation same phlebotomist asked for a different phlebotomist was told that was not option due to being busy. She stick me again and couldn't, got another phlebotomist that was also

The biolife center was very clean. Staff members were interactive and friendly explaining each step in the donation process. Donation was completed in just under 1hr 15min and with minimal discomfort Seanny placed my needle smoothly and without issues while Vee assisted another donor in tge section. I call them the dream team as their section always runs smoothly. I will be returning weekly foe donations.

Vii & Seanny both were very polite, and respectful of my safety and well being. Kim helped me my first visit she made me feel comfortable enough to come back I love the staff.
