I been to CSL blood bank since I was 18 I'm 25 I jus moved here 3 years ago I'm convinced no matter what city or state CSL is one blood bank that has lazy workers and unprofessional who sits up be screening people while they're otp im disabled when I go donate there's no chairs I could get there at 8am I bet ion leave out til 1-2 pm this location is a no go if I go to independence ave I'm in there for one hour I could get there at 9 by 10:45-11 im done n on my lil way but CSL on Broadway is very unprofessio

Waste of time for chump change. Wait times are terrible and long and machines never work. Almost everytime I go now the temperature reading comes back fast and says it's high and I'm not sick. I don't recommend coming here. They kept poking my right arm and messed up so they used my left arm and then their machine started making my vein literally inflate like a balloon cause the return pressure was too high... My vein almost burst. Do NOT COME HERE TO DONATE PLASMA. I recommend literally any other place for plasma donation. This was a very traumatic experience. I've been donating for over a year almost 2, i used to go to the independence location where they 1) get people moving in a timely fashion, 2) aren't incredibly rude, and 3) they aren't so lazy. There's a woman with red hair and glasses who is the biggest perpetrator of the rudeness and laziness. Today the line was so long waiting to get to the beds that the line was so long it went around the inside of the building. Why is it that you hire the most rude and lazy people?

2 stars for today. Now all of a sudden I can't wear my prescription glasses. Because they are shaded. Every time I turn around it's something new. It's not my fought it's not in the chart. An empty and bloody sanitizer bottle doesn't seem very sanitary.. this is just one of many examples of how gross this place usually is. All in the same month there were four incidents where there was blood left somewhere. Two of the times it was large amounts no one had even noticed. And thats not including when they leave spots of it all over their lab coat. Don't even get me started on the bathrooms.

The CSL on Broadway is everything They are helpful and very polite. Take, Amber and Kendra. They took their time and helped one another fined a good vein so that I could have a good donation. Most unprofessional person I had to interact with was the ?doctor? doing my physical. Everyone else was friendly and professional and did their job quickly and efficiently. Doctor, not so much. Mixed bag. Been in twice at this location and both times started with the same phlebotomist and had issues. Missed vein both times, second time I started bleeding on the bed and they had to stop without returning my blood to me. I walked in today at 4:20 after having completed the screening questionnaire before arriving. The screening line had nobody in it and went right through. The line for a bed had six people in it. One thing that I learned from here, is to NOT go on an empty stomach!! The very first time I went was six months ago, and I experienced it all? Tay was wonderful with helping me have a great donation. If it wasn't for her the one on independence tried to banned .me because they couldn't find my veins. Waited for a least 20 minutes (45 last time) to get seated there are too many employees on the floor for that to make sense, by that time three new people get in line to be seated. They seat 9 people at the same time only keeping the new donors in order. We time to the best of our ability when we come in so taking people out of order and placing them behind 4 other returning is ridiculous and then to act like we are wrong for saying anything. So I went today and they rushed to insert the needle. They inserted it on the side of my arm not even in my vein. They then used the other arm and also missed that vein. I was differed for 2 months since they couldn't get the blood to reinsert. I am very disappointed.

Internal fraud/identity theft! CSL Plasma had a new promotion to donors. I hadn't donated since September, but still had the debit card they pay on. I went in march to donate, was told the debit card would still work. After donating an atm said there were no funds. Contacted bank and was informed; a CSL employee issued new visa in my name in Jan, using my identifying information, without noting a reason or going through corporate,. I've been coming here off and on for the last 7-8 year's or so I have a pretty good perspective on the overall experience. It has definitely changed over the years and for the better I'd say. Twice in the past I vowed to never step foot in this location again. I'm glad I decided to give it another chance though because everthing has improved. On Sundays the office manager only had 2-3 people screening, entered 8:15,screened 9:45, my pulse too high due to the heat and body odors,, one person screened every 15 minutes, including 5 new donors whom are placed in the front of the line. I would not recommend a single person to come to this location. I have never donated plasma and I went to this facility with the intentions of donating. The first thing that almost caused me to turn around before I even walked in was the location and parking (small, compact, full of sketchy people standing around, and trash everywhere). Place is extremely unsanitary and rude. There was a guy today cursing and threatening people in line. Then running from the bathroom and back over 15 times and each time he came back he was tweaking harder. They still let him donate and did nothing for the situation. However having to wait for a manager to come verify an address for over an hr while hes outside smoking cigarettes seems rather lazy and unprofessional. Both ladies requested him twice. Been coming here for quite a while now. If you are an early riser, the absolute best time to come is first thing in the morning on any day, be in line before they open the doors and you should be in and out in about an hour or hour and a half depending on how fast you draw. I draw very fast, usually about 35 minutes. Want a quick donation? Drink ALOT of water the day or night before and eat a healthy meal. I've heard exercising regularly also helps. Most the women who work here are preoccupied with chit chat, barking orders, or trying not to do more work then their coworkers. I feel very sorry for the few that are courteous and helpful. The staff at this location are very rude. Say you show up and it's too late to squeeze you in.... they embarrass you by being loud and saying " I dont know why yall keep comming in, we closed." It's very slow here. in San Antonio even when very busy my whole visit will go no longer than 2 hours. on average it would be an hour and a half. here minimum 3 hours on a slow day. always having empty seats but it's like they wait til more are open before getting you started. kiosks always freezing and definately they need to speed up the process in getting people in and out. on average I'm here almost 4 hours everytime...nothing is really bad except the process is sooooo slow!!!!!

Yesterday was my first time being at a CSL Plasma location. Also was my first time donating blood. The staff at this location were very nice, professional and helpful. I was pretty nervous about the needle but they made me feel better. I am now going to become a regular donor at this location because of the staff!

A whole staff that doesn't want to work. They stand and talk more than they screen up front, the phlebotomist on the floor her lines out the door and don't wanna put bodies in beds. This center needs a cleansing of the current staff and management that cares because this place is terrible compared to when I began donating 3 years ago.

This place is terrible don't go here staff is rude not all but some. . When I told the lady the kiosk froze up she called me a liar and didn't want to help me. She started arguing with me saying that I was just a liar and I told her just get up and come see the kiosk. The kiosk freezes up all the time the wait is all day. It seems kinda junky too.

Slowest location out of all of them takes like 20 minutes just do a health screening and it's like they aren't even doing anything in the back on the floor been in line for an hour and a half in the same place Independence Ave is never this slow

Every time I come here it's a challenge, people laughing a goofing around instead of working, and being rude to not only me but to others as well. The phlebotomist I had the last two times has left me with huge hematomas in BOTH my arms.

Waited for an hour and watched all other new donors get called before me. Unprofessional no communication and inconsiderate staff don't even deserve a star tbh

The most unwelcoming atmosphere I've ever been in. The lady spoke to me like I was stupid, when she would speak to me. She kept stopping what she was saying so she could yell at little as thru walked in. I didn't know anything about donating and they made it even more confusing. I had a really good experience. The process was pretty smooth, me being a first timer. They know what they're doing, explained it well to me and made sure I was good to go.

They also require that you have large veins in both arms?? I dont get it I've never had that require ment before cause I only ever donate on my left.

Very rude staff, brought a friend to donate and I had my service animal with me and when I walked through the door they said you cant have dogs in here, I told them he is a service animal and i just ordered his vest, another employee approached me saying he couldnt be inside and I informed her I was not donating I was just here as a ride for my friend and that my dog is a service animal, I showed her the paperwork and she rolled her eyes and stormed off. Wait times are incredibly high at this center due to poor management and understaffing. No matter the time of day it will take 3 hours at least. Disorganized and unsanitary.. Do not go to this center if you can avoid it.

This place is ridiculous. I came down to donate plasma with a sprang elbo. They then told me you cannot donate with a bruise. That I can understand, then I came back after the bruise was healed, went to kiosk and behold the message appears "not suitable for kiosk" so they made me go to the exam room where I was told after wasting my has Twice to come here to be told I had to have my paperwork... I was told that CSL is 130 years old. That explains the 130 yrs old machines they use always breaking down, so so so so slow. Plus the company is from Germany, that also explains the Gestopo notzi attitudes you get while waiting for hours in line. You stand in line for hours. No chairs except the few for new donors. I've been donating since the mid 80's and experience alot different plasma centers CSL is the worst when it comes to treatment of thier donors. You would think that being a 130 yr old comp

Best CSL Plasma I have ever been to. Very friendly and professional staff, and I never felt the needle stick at all. I wish it was closer to me, so I would go all the time.

There is a lady that works here I believe her name is Anna. She cussed at me during screening because she thought I was being rude. Had no Ill intent I just simply made a comment. Can't believe workers are allowed to treat people like that

Horrible . took me 4 hours to get out of csl plasma . kiost are always freezing. Then today i got stuck so deep blood got into my plasma. Then take them forever to get us unhooked. Not to mention the systems was down . so i didnt get my payment yet . so i walked home from there to Raytown!

Never a wait to donate, BUT what's the point in having a weekly drawing if it's just fixed? The box isn't taped so anyone could get into it and stuff the box or take tickets out. Might as well go back to BioLife.

GHETTO! I've seen so many druggies and meth heads here I hope I never need plasma. This place is so shady and out of control people literally sit in the parking lot getting high then go donate but the staff doesn't care. They don't even care that their customers sit in the parking lot blasting rap music at full volume even though people live right next door. Seriously though...GET CONTROL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS!
