I just had one of the best experiences donating blood, all thanks to Melissa! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcome, comfortable, and at ease. Her professionalism, kindness, and upbeat attitude made a huge difference?especially for someone like me who gets a little nervous around needles. Melissa took the time to explain everything clearly, checked in with me throughout the process, and made the whole experience smooth and painless. You can tell she genuinely cares about what she does and th
I can't say enough great things about the entire staff. I love how everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Especially Tamara, she always greets me w a huge smile and she's gentle and caring. Highly appreciated and recommended.
The staff is always so kind and welcoming. I've never had any problems here. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
Been donating here for months and have been thankful for the extra income that's been helpful with my dog's vet bills, since she has an ongoing health problem. The employees here are kind and helpful most of the time. But the last time I donated plasma, the person hooking me up over tightened one of the tubes, causing the connection to crack, and my blood leaked out and made a mess. I felt bad for the person having to clean it up, and hoped the person who caused my blood to leak wouldn't be disciplined for
I started donating during Covid because I had the antibodies and wanted to help out and now I've become very close with the staff. They're friendly always have great conversation and they are very personable and professional.
I was easily accepted to donate my very first time giving them information of a diagnosis of mental disorder bipolar and forgot to mention this version is affectiv schizophrenia. As mentioned on second visit came up the diagnosis of affectiv schizophrenia and I was told I could never donate there again. Even though not on any medication that would affect my Plasma. So you take 886 ml bottle of Plasma and destroy it now? As from what I've understood is you cannot use any of the donation of Plasma till second
Watched videos, read the book, passed the screening. Went to the "doctor", was told that because I took an albuterol inhaler for my asthma, I couldn't give for a week. More funny, I was asked if I wanted to participate in a RSV program. Too much hassle. I don't think they really wanted my plasma. I'll keep going to CSL Plasma.
Never donated before and was a wee bit nervous, but everyone of the staff here made me feel so comfortable and not nervous at all! I didn't catch the receptionist names it was 2 girls sweet and funny as can be! Tammy was such a sweet woman! Ryan was so gentle when putting in the needle and was very explaining and helping! Rissa was assisting my husband and she was also so sweet! I forgot the assistant manager I think he was but he was also very incredible! It was so clean it was a great experience! Highly r
I have nothing but great things to say about this place!!! Staff is super friendly, the place is clean, and the pay is consecutive. Saving lives, making a few bucks? doesn't get much better! ??
Always a great experience... Staff are Always nice... 4/2025 been at least 2 years since I've been back decided to go in and wow great to see some of the same faces and they even remembered me and made me feel welcomed. Never had a bad experience here
Denied me cuz my hands were dry lady was clearly in the wrong and staff were forced to support her dumb decision. Go anywhere else csl plasma is way better
Best location. My boyfriend donates and I sit in the lobby, and they are the most welcoming employees ever. I went about a month ago and my veins were too small, but my boyfriend has donated over 130 times at this location. He ALWAYS talks highly of them. Clean, professional, friendly. I'm in the lobby currently, and these people deserve the highest praise. Highly recommend!
Great staff here, always have a good experience and they are quick to process return donors and helpful to new donors trying to get setup for their first time. The phlebotomy staff are also very experienced and focused when setting you up on the machine. If you are trying to get in and out more quickly you should try to donate early in the morning or between 11am and 2pm as this will help you avoid Morning and late afternoon rush periods. Been donating here for over a decade as the bonuses are great, and th
I thoroughly have enjoyed my experience at Grifols on Middlebrook Pike. The staff is so friendly and I can always count on a few good laughs every time I am there. The staff is thorough and I have never had an issue. I highly recommend, if you are considering donating, Grifols on Middlebrook. Keep up the great work guys!
Every time I walk in, regardless of day or time, I am greeted with a friendly atitude, regardless of which staff it is, or how busy they are. Check in is smooth and easy every time, and once on the floor, the donation process is pretty easy, just chill and pump. The staff (check in, medical, phlebotomists) are always so friendly and professional. They manage this along with being g personable and friendly. I absolutely love coming here!
Great place to donate, great employees with great attitudes! Shout out to Megan who is always upbeat and happy to be there :)
Place is falling apart management is non existent Always hit or miss sometimes I get out quick and others I spend hours here just waiting around almost not worth the money unless you got 2 1/2 hours to burn Everytime On the flip side the have a couple good techs there great service and good at their Jobs one of them is Drew and Katrina definitely recommend them! Very skilled!
I've been coming here for about 2 years off and on. They are some of the nicest and personable people I've ever met. They've always taken care of me and made me feel safe! 10/10
Staff on the floor are great my check in was great now there "buddy bonus" is a LIE you don't get it after your seconds donation you have to go back for a 3rd for them to give it to you so needless to say we still never got it you only get new donor bonus for the first 2 visits and now I have to do another just to get the bonus we already earned and a $40. Pay no thanks we will find a center that actually pays and is not a hoops game just to get paid.
I usually come here about a year apart from each other and for a couple of months. All of the new changes (while super long the first time through) are awesome. You guys kept all the great from the old staff and have a farrrrr better and seemingly more attentive new staff. My payment got messed up for the first time ever and I called in and Katrina Hunt fixed me up in 2 minutes. She also was well informed on all the new protocols and able to answer all my questions. I'll definitely come to donate more.
I visited this center three times. On my third visit, I was informed that I was ineligible for the new donor bonus due to it being more than 30 days since my last donation, which led me to decide not to return. They provide a Visa card which, unfortunately, hasn't worked at any location I've tried and you're better off trying to transfer the money out of it. While the staff is generally friendly, they seem significantly understaffed. If you don't arrive right when they open, you might wait approximately 3 h
They post no info about stipulations that could have you denied. I've been clean for 15 yrs and they turned me away for being honest about my past. My suggestion to everyone is to lie, lie, and lie more if you want these people to help you get some money. I could have lied and have money in my pocket. But my morality keeps me from being a liar. Now I am never allowed to donate anywhere in the country cuz I told this evil woman the truth. Remember, lie, lie, lie!
It all depends on the person themselves.. the staff is energetic and put off a positive vibe. Always making people laugh and smile, very knowledgeable in what they do. I've never gotten bruised or had any issues with anything from this place. Very caring staff- always checking on their patients/clients. It's definitely an awesome experience, especially for me!
They will allow a person to leave the facility with extremely high blood pressure without any concerns. The staff has no morals or concerns about the people who come in the facility, not realizing that if it wasn't for the people, they will not have jobs.
Majority of staff are unable to establish line without great discomfort or outright pain. Once had arm swell up and bruised for 2 weeks. A few staff are excellent and virtually painless. Under compensated.
Wonderful ladies. Great conversation. Feel like another family I go see twice a week. Made an added $4500 over the last 12 months donating here. That a nice addition to your job. Nice friendly ladies I probably could have crashed one of their Thanksgiving dinners and they probably would have welcomed me. Great place and you're helping save others lives as well.
The staff at this location is always very friendly but the wait time for new donors is longer than any donation center I've ever been to. Currently I've been waiting in the lobby for 3 hours to get a physical. By the time I get my physical and actually donate it will have taken almost 5 hours to donate the first time. Nowhere on the site does it say it's supposed to take this long. If this is your first time donating make sure you pack a lunch and clear your schedule for the day.
Great staff very quick very friendly however the staff is taking advantage of the lack of snow to open on time this week opened up at 10:00 on Wednesday when it was just finished snowing., it's now Friday streets are clear still not open on time with donors waiting not cool.
No, the staff isn't the most welcoming friendly staff I've ever met, but no one has been rude to me at all. And to be perfectly honest, who cares? I just want to get in & out, I'm not there to make friends. But, there are several people working there that are friendly & easy to talk to. After my 1st visit (which can take 2-3hrs) it has been a breeze getting in & out. Usually get called back within 5 min of me signing in. Whole process from sign in to getting paid runs me about 1.5hrs or less. I'd probably r
0 stars if I could. I don't even leave reviews but they just literally wasted 2 hours of my day. When I was screened, I was asked when my last tattoo was & I told him 7 months ago. He acted as if everything was ok for me to donate & let me continue to go through the process. I get to the end of the process, over an hour later, go to get a physical & the nurse says I can't donate unless I bring in a picture of the license where I got my tattoo. That's something I should have been told when I informed them wh
Been coming here for almost 4yrs. Now i cant donate cause i dont remember if told them my new address and here is the kicker. They wont even check in the system if its the new address or the my old address. So if you change address and dont tell them or if your like me and dont remember if you told them or not. Then you wont be able to donate here ever again. All because they are to lazy to check in there own system if the information is correct or not.
Very nice and clean and safe location. The staff is amazing and the prescreen is excellent. Payments are on debit card and are secure. On a side note while I could not donate they did spot a problem consistently and insisted I contact my Dr immediately thereby taking their advice and print out of what they did find saved my life. When donating they are very careful. Bring current valid photo I'D, a piece of current mail with post stamp to validate your address and your social security card as well. Be prepa
Every time I go there its fast and efficient. The staff is amazing. The nurses are so helpful Glenda is amazing and Callie is just the best. I hope the staff continues to grow with this awesome type of staff
My last and final donation at this center was around the end of Jan 2023, when myself and 5 others went. I would bring myself and several colleagues/friends - anywhere from 4 or 5 of us at a time to sometimes over 13 (loaded into the company van like sardines) - with an average of 5 to 6 donors each time.. We would use one center throughout the year, and change to another one the next year for the higher "return/new donor" incentives. We would visit regularly throughout the year and would throw our earni
I will agree with the comments that the staff was friendly. However, they are uneducated kids running that place. I was deferred after almost 2 hours of waiting. I lived in a European country during the outbreak of mad cow disease and if you lived there during a certain time frame, you can't donate. That is not what I'm mad about. I'm mad that I changed my evening plans and gave up 2 hours because the girl the first go round didn't even know what she was asking me. So by the time I waited after my first con
Everyone been very nice, professional and welcoming. The staff seem to care for the donors and carful during sit up proceedings ( I hate needles) yet they do their best to make it painless. Thank you Jasmin for being so careful.
Not too bad. Long wait
This was my first time going to this location today. Just make sure to have your driver's license, social security card and a piece of postmarked mail with your current address (I had to go back home to get a piece of mail). Overall the process took around 4 hours because I was a "newbie." I did end up getting $70 dollars (the first five times you get this amount) at the end and felt it was well worth the process. I thought the place was clean and the workers were friendly.
You're paying less than the other plasma centers and cut your hours of operation. I'm betting your employees don't like having their hours cut. Also what's the point of having TVs if you can't see them. Every plasma company could easily pay donors $100 every time and still make money. So what's the deal? Oh I almost forgot you have a few people that like to stick in a hurry. Maybe tell them to slow down so bad sticks don't happen. Oh slim and the joke guy are good stickers. Stop beholding to the sh
This place has been great! They are super helpful, clean, and professional. As a first time donor I was in and out in 2.5 hours where as I waited 6 hours at a different plasma donation place and never even donated. I would definitely recommend. If you refer a friend they give you an extra $100 too after their SECOND donation! Awesome! Tell them I referred you!
I've been a loyal donor for quite some time now and at one point I would have given this place 5 stars. Now they are severely understaffed with an hour plus wait time before you can even get to a bed. At times the place is so crowded there aren't any parking spots. And on more than one occasion I've had to leave because the wait was too long. I only recommend this place now if you have the time for a 2 plus hour trip.
I'm not happy because I took time away from my son this morning to come and give plasma so I can have extra money saying I'm in between paydays and I get in there and the lady proceeds to tell me that I can't give blood because I have two last names. Then she wants me to go into detail why I have two last names it's not your business why I have two last names just know I have two last names. I've been using my same social security card in my same ID for years but now it's a problem that I have two last name
This place is great I have never had an issue. But if you have donated before and it has been over 30 days you have to show a piece of mail dated in the past 30 days and the date has to be on the outside of the envelope (also cannot be a utility bill) that's only accepted on the first visit. But other than that it's a pretty positive place ??
I was beyond nervous going in for my first visit but their staff made my experience very enjoyable. They know how to have fun at their job and try and make you feel very secure and comfortable. Would recommend this place to any of my friends and family.
I have been coming to Knoxville Plasma for over a year and today was absolutely horrible. When i walked inside, i was told that i would be placed on a list for them to call me so i could come into the lobby to sign in. I was told it would only take about 5 or so minutes. I waited for 45 minutes without receiving one phone call. I finally went in myself and was told to sign in. 3 people walked in as i was waiting for my call and each one had already signed in and had been processed by the time i went in. Upo
10:33 am on a Saturday. I'm the only person in the lobby, there are 3 staff members behind the counter and I am waiting, waiting. Listening to a girl continuously talk about the cat mat she bought today in detail is not what I came here to do.
My only real problem here is how easily they deny you for any reason. Keep in mind that I have been donating, with no issues, at another center. I travel 45 mins to get there. After being denied 2 times, that's 2 wasted trips, I finally got to donate on my 3rd time, and 4th time. I show up for my 5th time and get denied for low protein from my last donation. They should notify you if you can't donate. Another wasted trip and $20 in gas! Good thing I just leave and go back to the other donation center and do
Great place to make some extra money. All staff members are very inviting and friendly. Fast process in and out in an hour or less. Been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience.
This is the worst place I have ever been to . I have donated plasma many times before at different institutions and never been turned away as many times as I have here. I have literally showed up on 6 different occasion's to donate and out of all of those times I have only been able to donate once. They advertise that they're open till 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays yet when you walk in at 7:45 the staff finds any and all excuses possible to not let you donate. The staff is either completely ignorant a
Unprofessional at least the most of them are, and the other ones are over worked and the other ones don't have a clue of what's going on, I never thought just because someone was wearing a backpack or homeless that they where junkies and had some kind of disease,I also have never thought about someone actually being prejudice not because of the color of their skin, but because they was homeless.at knoxville plasma I know of a couple of the employees that are im sorry to let you down ladies but I'm homeless a
This is a wonderful plasma donating center and has all up to date new equipment. They are very safe health wise. It is a great place to donate for the benefit of health related life saving issues as well as make a small profit on the side. Great on resumes as well. The staff is super friendly but ethically firm! The doctor is more than honest and helps provide with other health related issues you may wont to know or need. The facility is clean and kept up, TV in the waiting room. The system is logical and f
Would put no star, they are rude and deny you for dumb things and very unprofessional. Witnessed the lady that takes your temp. at the door yelling at another customer. They told me to come back in 6 months due to my 2020 pregnancy. More than 6 months later still denying me. They deferred my husband cause his father has a blood clot disorder and it even somehow affected my eligibility.
Great place to donate. Staff is always nice! Just about every visit Justin makes a movie/tv reference that goes right over most people's head. He always has me laughing or reminds my of some movie that I love and need to watch again.
Great staff! Super nice! Hard @ work saving life!
These people are so nice and helpful! I actually had a good time talking to the staff. The facilities are very clean and professional!! I was nervous about donating but one trip in settled those nerves. I'd recommend this group to everybody!
I have donated several times and today was just a disaster. After an hour ride to donate, had 5 to 10 minutes waiting for the desk staff to stop laughing and cutting up and acknowledge me. Documentation that has been accepted previously (within a day or two in person, also verified by phone and website the day before) was refused. Is this not a company policy or is it on a personal preference? Another stepped outside for a moment and was "blocked" from donating. Waste of time and effort.
I'm extremely pleased with the service I receive here. The staff are pleasant and courteous, and very knowledgeable. The always answer any questions I have, and they make sure to take care of all my needs whenever they stick me. I would give them more stars if i could.
My partner went for the first time ever to KP today after being a CSL donor for a while with NO issues. He was denied before even being screened for having ?more than 15 tattoos?, which has never been an issue before as they are all older than a year. Checked the website and it says the same thing. She was the only screener available, and if she didn't want to put them in then she should?ve called a manager. I worked at CSL and know our requirements are almost identical. She stated grifols being bought IN A
I love the people here. They always make me feel so welcomed. Very clean environment. Very friendly and most professional staff too. Plus, I feel good when I'm donating bcuz I know I'm saving lives too.
Using stamped (real stamps not e-stamps) mail for verifying address is outdated and needs to be put on par with the times. All the reasons for giving this place 3 stars have nothing to do with staff, they are good people doing a good job. The rules need to change and as with all other places they are short staffed.
I love everything about this place. Very welcoming atmosphere. And all the staff are amazing.
This place is crazy. Every time I go in they tell me that I am dehydrated. To drink more water. I drink so much that I can't hardly stop peeing and they still tell me I am dehydrated. I have deep veins. They do not want to do their job. It's frustrating to sit there for hours to be told not today...for no reason.
Not consistent with standards. Don't go if you have over a half sleeve of tattoos. Otherwise, you go through the whole process and they tell you at the end you aren't eligible. If you have any large tattoos that aren't visible, DO NOT TELL THEM!! I was denied because of a sleeve of tattoos done over 5 years ago. However, my wife has a MUCH larger and more fresh tattoo that goes from armpit to mid-thigh and she got excepted. Just lie about it. Everyone was nice, though.
Just went to Knoxville Plasma for the first time. Everyone was welcoming and kind to me and I even had an easy conversation about dogs. I relaxed and the time passed fast. Their machines have a convenient digital read that allowed me to consider how much I donated and how much longer I had to go. I'm looking forward to my next visit and being a twice a week regular!
Went yesterday everyone was really nice, welcoming respectful and knowledgeable or willing to ask if needed. Long process for the first time donor but if you go expecting that all good. The reviews about tattoos not sure why they got deferred I have 7 and 6 piercings no issue. The nurse was very specific and clear on what could get you deferred permanently or otherwise. Will go back on my reason I didnt give 5 stars is as someone said checking veins in the lobby not really ethical. I am a medical personnel
My husband and I have been donating at Knoxville Plasma for about a year now. We have had nothing but Positive Experiences. I absolutely adore the staff there. They all work so hard and their dedication and professionalism always shines through. We have always had the peace of mind knowing that when we go to Knoxville Plasma, our entire donation process will be done Safely & Efficiently in a Clean and Sanitized environment each and every time. Along with Friendly & Compassionate Care. Thank Y'all So Much fo
It's a long process on your first time, about three hours but you are compensated and I needed the money, so yeah it was a good match. If you can find any other place that will pay you $75 for 3 hours of your time share the knowledge, staff was fine, all went according to plan, rest of the bad reviews are just cry babies, give it a shot, pretty easy process.
I placed a phone call to see if i could donate in their facility, the young lady who answered the phone kept telling me i needed to go to their facility first to see if i qualified, their facility is an hour away from my address but she insisted on me making the hour drive to fill out the paperwork to see if i qualified. I asked numerous times but again she insisted i drive the hour away to fill out the paperwork. The customer service i received from her came off as rude and she appeared to not want to ma
The staff at Knoxville Plasma is its best asset. Pleasant, friendly and cheerful are descriptors for just about everyone in the place. And let's not forget professionalism. This group is extremely professional. It's a great place to not only do something good for those who need your donation but to earn extra money as well. Highly recommended.
I love going here! Im helping out & getting paid. The staff is so friendly they feel like family! Keep up the good work!! Courtney Abernathy-Brown
I don't know why they're bad reviews on this place..The people who work there are really nice! Only takes about an hour after your first visit, and you make good money for a short amount of time. Maybe people are expecting a little too much? I don't know.
If I could rate a 0. I would. Went in yesterday. They told me that my emailed receipt from eBay would work for verification. Went in today when girlfriend had her mail as well. And got told it wouldn't work. Because it isn't paper. I said who TF do you know. That is going to ship something to an address that shows on their license. And like about the residents as well. How f*in ignorant do you have to be! Never going to try this place again
Very friendly staff. It got abnormally busy last i was there and they were short staffed on the donor floor but they handled everything very well with just Jessica and shyla on the floor besides some newbies. Been to 2 other donation centers before but this one is by far the best out of the 3.
Great people and friendly atmosphere. Been coming here for years and one thing I can say that needs improvement on is keeping work related issues behind closed doors instead of on the floor where customers are donating. Seen it happen to many times.
Awful!! I have never have donated before & it stinks that because of this experience I NEVER WANT TO GO THROUGH IT AGAIN!!! I DID NOT do this for the money, but only to give back to our community.....but felt like the staff looked at me as if I were some skum on the bottom of their shoes. They were not kind and very short, it was my first...I didn't know what came next and had many questions. God forbid if I took a minute of their time...I mean it's not like it's their JOB!!! Sucks that so many have zero wo
Update: This place went downhill years ago. Avoid at all cost. Some of the staff are the most horrible humans with the worst attitude. Disfuntional and incompetent place. Not worth it. There are to many other centers far better then this one. Smh Great service, staff and pay :)
I have donated at grifols in Knoxville and Asheville . Find another place. They literally will hire any dope head off the street. One girl in Knoxville couldn't stand up. I complained and she was fired. 6 months later a girl was so methed out I said she cannot stick me. She was fired too. Asheville is no better. Also low payment. Once a new girl stuck me and didn't hit my vein, they Wiggled needle around and after around 30 minutes manager decided to do my right arm. Next time I went my left arm was so brui
I go here usually around 3-4 times a month. I find the older technicians to be a bit more professional than the younger ones. Except for Justin, he is always professional when I am there. Towards the end of the day you can clearly sense that they want to go home and usually act frustrated and rush through. I went at around 5 today and Jennifer was the one who stuck me. She didn't take her time and ended up busting the tube connected me... my blood went gushing all over me and I nearly passed out. She cleane
The 2 stars are for the friendly staff. Otherwise they aren't clear just how much water they want you to drink . I had 64oz the day before and that morning but they won't let you donate unless you have consumed a gallon. They need to make it clear on their website instead of wasting people's time and gas. It's not cheap anymore.
Went there on Saturday to donate was treated rude by female and she told me she could not hit me. I think she was just lazy as shot and did not want to screen me. This woman has no customer service and should be fired. You lost a good donator and will never return again CSL plasma here I come. You know just cause someone donates doesn't mean you treat people rude very unprofessional.
The staff were friendly. The place was clean and I didn't have to wait to long. Nice experience.
First time going expect 3-4 hours for the whole process. Do your research and make sure you have everything you need. They have a clean facility and everyone makes sure you know what's going on and what's expected. I asked a lot of questions and anyone I asked answered me without any judgement. Staff was friendly and worked efficiently. Bring some headphones or a book to keep you company.
They are horrible and pick on certain people to randomly to try and reverse everything on. I was given a ?random? drug screen and was negative on everything but the hired gun nurse employee tried everything in her power to find a way to defer me. She knows who she is and is wrong. I donated there for several months so I know they just use people to make money then get rid of you. Everyone I know who has donated for more than a few times has the same story.
Nurse Tammy is a Rockstar! It's very apparent that she's the cornerstone of your operation. She wears many hats, and I haven't seen her hesitate in the slightest when she's needed to help in any situation. The other staff members are very friendly and competent at their jobs as well. There is an underlying sense of helplessness due to your current (and ongoing?) understaffing issue. I've been donating plasma for 7+ yrs over 5 donation centers, and I have seen the astronomical difference appropriate staffing
For the most part I've always had pleasant experiences at this location, however the interaction that I just had with a male employee is shining through right now. I went to figure out why I was being deferred, and rather than using language non-professionals would understand, he gives me the Medical Terminology final exam when I'm trying to figure out what I need to correct. When he gets frustrated he finally says that my iron was low, and therefore I can't return until the 29th. Which is okay! I'm fine wi
The workers here are so unprofessional. They should just say "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" when someone walks in because that's the attitude that they give off. I feel Bad energy when ever I'm speaking to any one of those workers. They seldom greet anyone. They will ignore you while you stand at the desk. You might get a head nod when they are ready to answer a question. Get prepared for a run around and the trick questions about how much water you have drank and so on(it should be a quart or close to a gallon). The
I had been a frequent donor here, however I will not be going back. Reasons: Personal discretion as to what address proof is required, rather than by company policy and professionalism. My wife walked out the door for less than a minute, in full view of the place, and when she went back in, they chose to lock her out from donating today. Summed up, I'd rather eat from dumpsters and rob people for rent than deal with this company or location's snobbish attitudes and terrible business practices. SMDH. Cong
Idiots work here. Went in to give for first time. They require SS card, DL, and a piece of mail with address. The young lady told me after presenting all the required info that the piece of mail had to be postmarked within 30 days. Mine was 36 days old. So, I couldn't be seen. Apparently the demand for plasma is not that great. My DL and mail had the same address also. Nobody in the place but 15 employees in the office standing there talking to each other. I mean, literally standing in a circle with their
The people on here giving five stars work for the company or knows someone who does. I would give this plasma center a below zero!! They are very unprofessional! Candace Thompson(Knoxville plasma center manager)is rude and has no customer service experience. I called her to see if my husband could bring tax transcript which was dated within the past thirty days on the transcript to donate because he hadn't received any postmarked mail. She said no, I'm like OK fine No problem, why don't y'all mail letter
I absolutely loved this place.. I went there for the first time, on Friday expecting the worst from these reviews and was totally wrong!!! Not only was the process way quicker than CSL Plasma but the staff were all very niveand helpful. I absolutely LOVED my nurse, and wished I could remember her name but I BELIEVE it was Glenda but not positive. They were not super packed and I was just very happy all together!!
Very friendly staff and they get to know you by name if you frequently go. The staff is always laughing and joking very great atmosphere. Definately would recommend going here
This location has great staff but I wanted to highlight one staff member who goes above and beyond for people coming to donate and that's Tamarra. She really makes this place shine!
I have been 3 times, first time I told the women when I first got there, I had my daughter 5 months ago. So I waited around for an hour. Final get called to answer some questions. Then waited for another 30 minutes. I get called again to be told that I have to wait a full 6 months to give plasma. Second time I take my sister they say we had to have a piece of mail, the first they told me that all I need was my birth certificate and Social Security card. We go get the mail they tell me mine well not work be
Been donating here 10 plus years staff are always nice clean environment worth my time
I wish I could give no star but that is not an option. My wife and I called on the phone and we were very upfront that we were on prescribed methadone and asked if we were potential candidates to give plasma and they said sure, just bring documentation from the methadone clinic. The day we went, we showed documentation from the clinic at the front desk, no problems. We filled out the paperwork and turned it in along with our documentation, no problem. Waited for more than an hour. Then we see another r
Not sure if they except plasma at this location. Turned everyone away in the 2 hours I waited to also be turned away. If you look sideways you are denied. If you wait outside to long you are refused. If have someone drop you off your refused. Very abnormal place.
Great staff and clean facilities. The girl that cleans the facilities throughout the day does an amazing job. I've seen her on several occasions cross training, great work ethic.
They sick I was there for an hour getting ready to donate just for them to turn me away all because I had diabetes when I was pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago!!! And used insulin for less than a month smh!! Also they do not tell you prior to wasting your time that they will not accept you if you have ver used insulin. Smh
The staff here is always so friendly!!! They always make sure you are comfortable and in and out as quick as possible!! I will continue to come to Knoxville Plasma as long as I am able!! Always a great experience here!!!
Yesterday donating Plasma. The phlebotomy tech, accidently went Too Deep and caused ' swelling' the term for a blood pocket building FAST. Within 3 seconds correction procedure started. With questions , I decided to try and have another tech use another vein , same arm. ( my right arm was removed and replaced in 1997, they won't use it ). Starting another port , same arm, meant no ice for hour plus. Bruising is unavoidable ! And if bruised , can not donate. I wore ice twice yesterday as prescribed. BUT. I
The staff in the front was horrible (we didn't make it to the back due to out of date mail).the black woman who took my friends information was extremely rude and treated us like we beneath her,his mail was not opened and she demanded him in the rudest way to open it.was only there maybe 5 minutes and this woman made us feel like we weren't good enough to be there
The staffs great. The 1st time takes 3hours, not everyone can donate. You must have good veins, no recent major health problems, pass a drug test, and no gay men can donate. The drugtest excludes pot,Benzo's,+suboxone.but if they know you take sub u can't donate
I've donated plasma in SC for over 10 years. Went here to get established after moving and when I walked in, the girl at the desk literally laughed in my face and said I wasn't eligible due to my tattoo (professionally done and over 10 years old). The phrasing ?we refer people like you to CSL Plasma, we don't accept people like you? alone was enough to disgust me with this place. The attitude made it so much worse.
Don't come here if you don't have 3 whole hours to waste. New donor or not these people are incapable of keeping things moving. Would not recommend
Nice staff, but they wont let you donate if you have more than 15 tattoos. Could have told me upfront so I didn't waste my time.
First off if you can't do your JOB then You need another ONE!Stop trying to BLAME CLIENTS.Went there 3 Different times because they said I was DEHYDRATED,Knowing that was a LIE WENT To CSL and they had no TROUBLE.Especially the big BLACK WOMAN she just REFUSES to do her JOB. Now Same thing with my Wife. Have to wait for the TEAM LEAD who is 20 years YONGER.Never have I had a JOB That I was UNABLE to PERFORM and Still KEEP IT. You need BETTER TRAINED STAFF! CSL STAFF IS WAY BETTER. FIRE EVERYONE EXPECTED THE
I had a good experience here. The employees were friendly and professional. I will recommend this plasma center to my friends and family.
If you get there at certain times there's little to no wait. Plus the people that work there make the difference. They are amazing.
A wonderful experience. Every time I come here the staff is very professional and kind. They really know what they are doing here! Highly recommend!
I come here sometimes and I'm sure the staff loves me. They are lucky to have me. Haha as I am them as well. This place is awesome
Was denied to donate because of tattoos! The most recent one was OVER 5 YEARS ago and ALL were done in reputable tattoo shops. Waste of time! Tattoo limit should be posted!
I've donated at all of the centers in Knoxville but this is the one I come back to each time. The staff are great, professional and accurate phlebotomists. They give the highest compensation.
Very professional, but told me I couldn't donate because of my teeth being bad. I passed everything on physical no issues whatsoever spent 2 hours there Funny I donate blood all the time and I'm never had any problems but now I wasted my time for nothing.
They don't have enough people running the place. Giving plasma can be a hassle because they only operate a couple of rows of beds a time. Often times, Ive just had to walk out because even with only 4 or 5 people ahead of me, it can take over an hour or more to actually donate. I once spent 40 minutes waiting to be processed, and an hour waiting to get a bed because they dont use 60 percent of them
Ok service. Building looked clean. Employees are friendly. The wait is long so don't go if you are short on time. Easy money for doing nothing but waiting.
Some of the employees are rather rude, but not all of them, wait times can sometimes be an issue as well. There are some occasions where I've spent more time waiting an getting things wrapped up then I have Donating.
Knoxville Plasma is a great experience for me it is fast and easy ! They take pride in their job and they are always caring and always make sure I'm okay . If you haven't been to knox plasma I recommend you go!
If you live full time in an RV park don't waste time here. Where you live is more important to them then your plasma is of help. They think people are unstable if they live in an RV park. I wont go back even if I ever move
Been going here for years. Always welcomed with respect. And every one in the center is pleasant to be around. There definitely the best there is:)
I have to say that yesterday was my first donation and the whole entire staff was just wonderful these ladies do a great job i even got light headed and they came quick to me thanks ladies i wish i could give u 20 stars will see yall again
Do not go I've gave them the benefit of the doubt one too many times and now my arm is hurting profusely I understand it happening once but more then 2x is enough to say someone doesn't know how to do they job I'd just stay clear of this clinic if you feel like donating
They robbing folks you ate suppose to get 125 a visit for your first 5 visits not 2
The lady their said i had a disease i dont have, not only that she was just trying to find a way to not let me donate, she seen moles on my arm and asked her co worker if thats anything anybody should be worried about, not only that certian questions shed ask me when i answered shed give me a funny look like i was lying to then not only that with the disesse she said i had i dont have one butt she was makeing a big scene infront of everyone and makeing me look like a bad person also their racist people in the
Staff is professional and knowledgeable. Never an issue, always a good experience ??
nicest place for donating. Sweet people!
Great staff most of the time...Terry is awsome. An it the highest pay center in Knoxville. Nothing lower than 50. Plus you get to save lifes!
Definitely the best place to go to donate! They're very nice people!
They discriminate against people with tattoos....the intake personnel just dont want to take the time to enter the info into the system. Never had a problem donating anywhere BUT Knoxville Plasma. Its a waste of time to even go here!!!
Best staff ever!!! No one has ever been rude to me and its plus that a couple of them are Bama fans! #RollTide
They beg you to come in and donate, then make you wait forever to donate. If you are that busy, hire some staff. People were leaving after waiting an hour (or more) and still not on the table to donate.
Very clean and professional. The staff is fast makes the experience pleasurable. All round a great place.
New donor...sat in the lobby for an hour or longer. Asked if they had forgotten about me once and told no. I was the only one left in the lobby and same woman asked if I was donating. I could tell by her reaction they had forgotten about me. Awful customer service!
SeriouslyThe staff is amazingMy first tourWith themEvery individual I negotiated with I give them definitely a 10Max
DON'T go here if you're a NEW donor!! You only get $125 on 2 donations and after that you might get $50 bucks or less according to your weight class!! A waste of my time and gas!!!
Staff is always friendly, facility is clean. I feel safe and well attended when I go to donate.
A superior donating experience. Clean facility, great incentives, and friendly staff who remember you. If you decide to donate, Knoxville Plasma is the place to go.
Staff is super nice and the facility is very clean!
Drove across town twice and they did not take my mail as proof because of date I had all my information cannot believe they treated me like this I will not come back this was first time and they can't make appointments either.
Very professional and friendly. They make you feel like you're doing something important and good for the world!
Worse place to ever donate in Knoxville!
The first visit is time consuming due to their thorough clearance policies. I have since then enjoyed my visits and compensation here.
Friendly staff. They get you in and out in a timely manner. Love the new give aways they do each month.
Staff VERY friendly while still professional. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.
Best place to donate. I drive a hour just to go there. Staff is always friendly.
Tiffany the supervisor is very awesome. The entire staff is also nice and the process is fast.??
The staff is super sweet and they care about their donors! They also pay more than other plasma centers! If you go tell them I sent you!
They have a very courteous staff and follow all precautions with this strange and weird covid time...everyone there is very friendly and helpful... and answer any questions you have.
Very rude and disrespectful because I have a left sleeve tattoo that said I was not allowed to donate there due to excessive tattoos after wasting 2 hours of my time my advice Go to CSL I trust them a lot more and the techs are amazing
They are amazing people and care about you and make sure that you are alright everytime you donate Plasma. It is great to always helping others.
I have been donating for a little over a year, on and off. The staff here is really nice and knowledgeable. I recommend donating here. :)
The staff are very professional. The location is always clean, and the are taking extra steps during this pandemic to ensure everyone's safety
Been going here for 5 years. Its very professional but there is an a hole here and an a hole there on the staff, but for the most part its safe and professional
The staff is amazing , always smiling and friendly , i have been donating for a year now and love it
I enjoy donating plasma here, they have the best staff and always try their best to get you in and out as quick as possible. This is by far Knoxvilles # 1 plasma donation center!!!!!
I've been donating for about 3 years now and the staff is amazing and always helpful and professional. Safety for the donor is always a priority.
Very helpful and kind staff I've not have any issues with bad sticks or anything here. This is always good on both sides
The Staff is very rude and not very helpful. They Couldn't seem to answer simple questions without being rude. Poor customer service!
Extremely rude staff member, don't recommend this his facility to anyone. You treat someone rude don't be shocked when they bite back!!
Been donating for a few months now and always an enjoyable experience. Great group of employees here.
Horrible! Said i cant give blood because i had an IV from the emergency room and will not except my doctors note. Oh AND the first time i went they blew my vein out! NEEDS TO FIRE AND REHIRE!
Awesome staff! They are very welcoming and professional! Highly recommend!
Friendly staff, clean environment and understanding of my time. I don't dread coming here.
Super friendly staff, Love going to donate they're always so nice.
These girls are very rude. I find it very inappropriate to check people's veins at the entrance in the waiting area. You are treated like a number. I would never go back.
Wonderful employees, been going here twice a week since January and will continue to go.
I have always been treated great by all the staff! Would recommend to everyone!
Always a good experience, friendly staff, clean and fast wait times.

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
