When I first start going there it was a little professional as the few months has past, it's not like it use to be, there rushing to put needles in ur arms, they can be a lil rude at times, I have bruises on my arms and my arm is hurting like hell right now.. all I'ma say is everybody ain't meant for this kind of job, every jdy is not qualified to stick a needle in everybody arm.. they think ur vein is there but you end up hurting from them pulling the needle in and out, only person I know and love for him

Once I was admitted, the donation was quick . It took 45 minutes. That was wonderful. It would be quicker without a wait line, if there were 2 people admitting donors. I will say that the employees are really great and experienced. The place is always clean. I love it even with the long line. The employees and donorsrepore make the wait go quickly. Some days do not have a line.

This place is clean, even the bathroom! ?? The staff is friendly, welcoming, and amazing. The compensation is great too! ?? You can't go wrong ? I'm sure you'll agree! ?? #Cleanliness #Staff #Service #Compensation #Recommendation

3 4 hour wait on Austin peay if go to one East Memphis much faster they just need redo whole management employees this be my last time going to this location

No pictures but I like going there, most of the women there like me, Tamia was cool ash n da lady wit dem boots, I clown her every time but it's all to make the time go by fast, great friendly environment nolie.

Everyone was great, especially a Tech named Tink. She was very attentive to watching my monitor and was awesome there was another tech named Josh he was also great! I remember him from 6 months ago when I was last there. I will be continuing to come to octapharma plasma ??

IF YOURE RESDING PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION. THIS Sucks. Barely any staff here at the Austin peay location. They should really model themselves after BioLife in Germantown. They make sure their new donors are first priority. Terrible service. IM STILL IN LINE 2hrs LATER!!!

This does not reflect against the hard working employees at this center (Trina, Greg, Josh and Tinkk) but towards the director/hiring manager, please for the love of God hire more people, a lot more. There is no reason for y'all to have 2 employees working their butts off doing multiple jobs while running a bay, I feel so bad for the employees and this is how you lose the good employees by over working them. I have been here since 12:00 today and it is now 3:41 and I still have not been stuck because of sho

I love them!!!! They fast and super clean and very respectful . They get you in and out lol ! I especially love Mr.Greg he makes u laugh and hold a good conversation with ya .! Yall the staff are perfect and sweet !! If you ever come make sure to ask for Josh and Mia. Robbie is pretty cool too ! Josh gone get u in and out he is so sweet he asks bout you as a person. Be patient when going if u ain?t got the time to sit or be there long don't come simple!!!!

HORRIBLE service!!! Worst place to ever donate. Gonna save you some time and just let you know to go to ANY other location. The only white lady that works there goes slower than a 100 year old and they ALL are very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! WORST AND MOST UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE DONATING PLASMA EVER. Literally takes 6+ hours each time and they don't compensate for it.

It takes entirely too long to get Processing to donate my first donation even as a new donor shouldn't have taken 5 1/2 hours to be seen my second donation. I was there almost 2 hours before I was processed in to donate your location on Austin Peay is terrible, But once you get back, the phlebotomist on the floor does an excellent job

The staff was kind, patient, and understanding. Shout out to Kesha and Jessica for making the donation easy.

It's been great so far?they slow ass hell at times but eventually they get around to ya..

I went 2 days ago and it's a lot of pain and bruising at the insertion mark and further up my arm. Today is my next day and I'll be damned if I go again WAS NOT worth $75 ????.

Yalls phone robot has no option to talk to a real person. I've listened to all options , tried all and none lead to a person. Itd be nice to call and see if yall close for snow or something even more important.

I going to report to the company not this place u have told me I smell when I don't smell u let me n my husband go Thur the whole process n then at the end n said we need to talk to a nurse n I hate this place you are racist

They are great on some days(fast) and some days not so good (slow)

Almost Everytime I come in there it's always something, the people they hire don't know what they're doing, eeverytime I go in there either my arms clott or my arm gets messed up some way and the only person that actually knows what they're doing is robbie, robbie is the only person that sticks me without me clotting or it saying no flow and today I went in and had 2 people working on both of my arms and they clotted both arms because they were going to fast and didn't know what to do so I couldn't donate

It was great everyone there was very loving and friendly

This place is ridiculous I waited over 3 hours the first day left came back next morning before they opened had to do everything all over again waited another hour and a half and still nothing I left I will never return this place is BS and expect to answer over 50 questions every time you go to donate just not worth it expect to wait 3to 5 hours or more almost every time you go

Great staff. Training is good and the plasma equipment good also. The techs are also good. Payment went promptly onto the debit card they provided. Maybe bring a little blanket or covering if you're cold natured.

In and out with no problems staff was nice and friendly

Ever since I started here Ms April has been the best! She always smiling and doing everything she can to make sure you will have a pleasant experience. Give this place a try y'all!

My experience was pretty cool, it when went well????????

I'll start by saying I like the staff at this location. Everyone that I have encountered has been kind and knowledgeable about what they're doing. The donation process has run smoothly each time I have donated. With that being said, the wait time is absolutely horrible. It takes way too long for them to do your pre-screen. I have seen employees go back and forth while the line is long and donors are waiting to check-in. The wait time after pre-screen to start donation takes way too long. After donating is c

Amazing place to come to Wonderful people here to care of you

I started donating last year, extra money because I'm back in school. The staff is great. They know you by name.Quick process, i?m usually done in an hour. The only thing I could complain about is the referral process, but that is not the centers fault . I'm still waiting on a referral fee and it was a couple of months ago when I referred the my person.Other than that I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

The ratio of phlebotomists to pa ft patients is terrible! When I arrived I thought "Oh good, only three people ahead of me.' 90 minutes later when I finally got a bed I had to leave. I knew my set up and tear down would take too long and I would be late to pick up my son. Staff is nice, just overworked.

They are slow as hell always understaffed and the staff that do be there don't do shit . I been here a hour and finally get in the chair to donate and have been sitting ten minutes watching employees talk and not do shit the male phlebotomist is really the only one working the girl standing around picking and choosing what she wanna do and she definitely has an attitude problem very rude update: now at 45 minutes in the chair still have yet to be stuck in this amount of time I finish donations .

Well slowly and surely this place is going to the Pitts? I live exactly 4 minutes away from this facility and when I tell u to get serviced I have to now go to the one on Riverdale that's about a 20 minute drive but usually it's a no wait or less than 15 min wait at the Riverdale location. I've notice coming into the one on Austin P it's always a line in the morning or afternoon only one screener and if you come in the morning at 7 or 7:20? they are setting up the machines. At this point it is very inconve

Don't go unless you have no job or anything else to do upon arrival. Takes 3 hours every visit no matter what and this building lacks the faces of professionalism. I won't be visiting again and you should avoid this location at all cost! Riverdale location is the ?? of octapharma here in Memphis.

As a new donor the physical screening and blood testing went very quick HOWEVER even after drinking a bunch of water and eating good before my visit they had to stick me in both arms and when they stuck my right arm they actually burst a vein and filled my arm with saline, even when I told them my arm hurts they just gave me an ice pack and sent me home

The staff here is very friendly and very hands on. They ensure your health and your understandings on having successful donations. The process is also very quick from check in to screening to physical exam all the way to the donation process.

They let people skip at screening if not a new donor

A good place to donate nice staff and nice system once you become a donor u can do your health questions on app and be in and out with hr Drink water so ur donation can be fast and easy Security so no guns or weapons allowed and don't come at last min thinking u gone get top line service just like anywhere them folks ready to go home Also you pay goes to card once u finish donation and u can track ur pay and next donation on app as well tell them ?Lorenzo McDonald? referred u and we both get a bonus if u a

The people are always friendly and professional never had a situation occur yet. Management and staff very nice

I must admit I actually have a nice time when I go to this place. Nice staff no problems & you're guarantee to leave with a smile..its like God spirit is in that place. Seen y'all soon today

It's best to donate at the beginning of the day when it first opens.

Most definitely a great experience. Iyana is one of the best preferred sticker.

The staff and security are great, safe and advanced training for the donors needs professional and clean id recommended them to others.

I WAS TREATED VERY NICE AND WITH RESPECT.AND THE SUPPORT I NEEDED ON MY NEW DONOR PROCESS.EVERYTHING WENT SUCCESSFUL AND I CONSIDER PEOPLE CHOSE OCTS PHARMA PLASMA IF YOU WANT QUICK RELIABLE SERVICE WHEN DONATING. AND THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL.

I started as a new doner on Winchester. They were great. My second donation was on Austin peay it was horrible 3 hrs I was there the staff was slow just walking around talking to each other.Chairs were available and 10 of us wating to be seated horrible 3 hrs I won't be going back

I stopped to go here because it was so unsanitary and I was scared that I might catch something. The phlebotomists would not change their gloves between patients. The staff was rude and coldhearted, and mean to new people. The management would never respond to anyone?s complaints if you called their corporate customer service then they would say they spoke to the manager and the manager would be right out and no one would ever come out and you could wait there for hours. There are several other places in to

Everyone is very kind and professional. Comfortable and clean environment.i highly recommend if you're considering donating!

I love this location love the staff very professional and always moving fast definitely recommend it to anyone

Every time I come in Octapharma I am greeted with professionalism and smiles....the staff there is always pleasant and very friendly. I will always come to this location.

Like the other comments the wait times are horrible!!! I got here at 730am it's now 9:05am and still waiting to get in a chair, then gonna be another hour before I actually get stuck. All the employees look clueless or nonchalant to the point I'm nervous about getting stuck by them. If you don't have the staff just close and hire more staff???????my second and LAST time coming!!! No response needed JUST correct the issue!!

They are great. Nice clean place. And they get to you in a timely matter.

Very comfortable and great staff

Very nice people love them they r awesome and caring I will be coming back

You all did a wonderful job. Thank You!

Great place! Some of the employees are very friendly and helpful. I suffer from Anxiety and they make me feel at ease while I'm there.

Very nice place too donate. While I'm here I enjoy the environment & the workers are polite & funny I always have a good laugh ????????

You guys we're Nice and help full see you again today.ty

It's fast and clean all the time

This is my second visit and I can truly say it was the best experience the staffs are friendly they make you feel welcome they hustle together on the floor to ensure we get the Best service , Austin Peay (Octapharma) you guys Rock!!!!!!!!!!

First visit was 3.5 hours. I expected that because they have to get you setup. But my 2nd visit took 2.5 hours before they even got started with the transfer. I sat in the chair, ready to donate, for 45 mins just waiting for someone to hook me up. Either hire more people or get some better systems. (By the way the papers they give you to read say it is only supposed to take 2 hours max on your first visit.

It was quick and easy and the staff was friendly. Only problem was the app is not working

Edited* My second time donating was much faster and I was pleased with the whole process. Thank you. As a new doner I spent about 4 hours from beginning to end. They seemed short staff from the start but there weren't many people actually donating at the time I was there. I will donate again and then I can change my ratings as needed.

It was my 1st time and although this location seemed understaffed, the new donor process went by smoothly. I had plenty of patience and so did the female workers there. All I can advise is that if you go to this location, come with patience.

Is there a higher payment rate for first time donors?

They were absolutely wonderful. The wait was long but they are wonderful people, I definitely recommend to come here.??

This place is brand new. There has never been a wait . Also you can do question online before going to make it even faster. The employees are very nice and are good even if they are still learning.

I sat in there almost 3 hours and still did not get to the back. The workers was nice but very slow process. To much talking and not working to me.

WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!People do not know what they're doing and my payment still hasn't shown up. I've completed my second donation and still don't know why they haven't paid me. Had to be restuck multiple times and some of the staff was rude. There was a few phlebotomists who were helpful, but the intake staff and the director weren't very helpful or professional. The one on Winchester is where I will return to. They get really busy but overall much better experience.

I wasted over 16 hours, trying to be able to become a donor at Octapharma. I have been donating for five years with different companies and now all of a sudden I cannot donate. One day I sat in the lobby and waited for 5 1/2 hours for the nurse to see me. He asked me all the medical questions which I answered and he cleared me to donate. Two days later, I drove an hour back to Octapharma for my second donation. I was told I couldn't donate and I was deferred. I have requested the manager to call me back and

Smells like weed, and they don't warn you that you may have a 3-4 hour wait. Multiple times I waited over an hour then asked and was (at that point) told it would be 3-4 hours. NOPE! I don't plan to go back. If I decide to donate again I will check out another place.

Excellent staff friendly environment top notch service. Catera and Joshua are exceptional

Great customer service and they are very careful with their donors .

Pays the least out of every plasma center within 100 miles. Saw workers talk to a donor like a dog and then run to management when the donor said a single word and got them deferred. Turns out, they used to date one of them. Anyways, blood AND bloody bandages all over the restrooms, and when staff gets notified, theyll shrug it off. Their phlebotomists will put on your pressure cuff so tight, like a tourniquet, discoloring and swelling your arm, and then wonder why theres so many no flows, and theyll get so

A very nice first time experience for my 18 year old daughter. The staff was professional and friendly. The center is very clean and spacious. A fast in and out donation. I highly recommend! ??

I love this place they have the best employees i love them all??????

Staff is very nice..BUT..very inconsiderate of their customers tine. They gossip and make personal calls while screening donors. Like I said tho...very nice and polite. Not rude at all just SLOW AS CHRISTMAS. Your 1st donation plan on being there atleast 3-5hrs. depending on how fast you "bleed" and upwards of 6hrs it's real busy. Also pays all is less than other centers in Memphis. * On a good note*There clinic is SPOTLESS. Cleanest in Memphis. And the plasma machines are top of the line and faster than

My experience from octapharma plasma has been a great one it's a professional place to get informative information and they have great customer service and support but their pay could be better on a regular basis

I'm here one some about a week ago and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had with donating plasma I used to donate years ago but I would always run into such rude people and people who just were out of their minds didn't know what they were doing and that is not the case here they understand what they're doing they were able to answer every question I had unlike the other place I was they were also able to make me feel comfortable and almost in a safe environment the place was extremely clean

Fantastic facilities and professional service. Competitive pay. Thanks for all you do "Uncle John"

I had a great experience at Octapharma Plasma. The staff was fantastic and made my donation so smooth.

(This review applies to this particular location center only) This is the worse octapharma donation center probably in Tennessee.. I've been to several including even going to Nashville... I've been donating with octapharma going on 2 years , the staff at this location are not being trained properly, in the past I've had a incident where they stuck my blood line in the trash can to remove air smh .. other incidents where they always forget to spike the saline bag so sometimes you don't receive solution

The experience was good, the people were great at their jobs. The only downside was getting the card to load for my payment

I would give five stars except I had a little problem with the bruising with the needle maybe they take a little extra time other than that they were very friendly very helpful great people that work there and very courteous even when other donors where butt holes

Good customer service

Hey what up ladies and gentlemens? I admit that the Octapharma Plasma do have good assistant. and the staffs will answer any questions for new donors older donors they have good service. and they don't take a lot of time if they aren't very busy when it come down to they business they'll be following upon it. ???? ???? ???

DO NOT ?? COME HERE !!!!!!! Horrible place. Go in at 7:30. Am. Don't reach floor untill 11am. Under staffed. Or. Untrained staff it switches every week. I referred my wife. Tomorrow is her second donation and. I still. Haven't gotten my refer bonus. They keep lying to me and won't pay me they bruised my wife's arm by carelessy. Pulling needle out and not putting pressure on it loosely wrapping her arm. Is now bruised. After. This week I am done. Here so Is my wife and my six friends I've.

Really nice people very professional nice clean place 5 star quality

Good first donation, the lady had no problem sticking my vein !! but my second donation didn't go well.i had to get stuck twice. No matter where I got my blood taken, I never had problems or had to get stuck twice! I NEVER EVER had problems with my veins til my 2nd time.

A great experience! All of the workers are friendly and welcoming, there's no wait, and the place is kept clean at all times. 10/10

Everybody has Great customer service and really nice and genuine

Very great place to be very clean first time donors have to do a 2 hour setup process after that it's smooth sailing second time no long wait only 45 to an hr

Clean facility, friendly staff, I absolutely love coming to donate here!!

Smooth process..no complaints..with the machines could go a tad bit faster

Being a new donor I was not sure of where to start the process, when I came to front counter I was stared at, not greeted. I had to ask one of the four young ladies standing staring at me to please come here just to ask what I need to do how I needed to sign in. She did not know and responded I don't know hold on let me see. Just to get me in the system before the questions on the computer took over an hour. The wait for the nurse to do my physical took right at an hour and 30 Mins. Then I get to the floor,

The BEST Phlebotomist in MEMPHIS TN!! Don't sleep on those BEAUTIFUL BLACK (and a few white) WOMEN!! DESSI IS THE BEST OUT OF THEM ALL!! GO TO AUSTIN PEAU...AND SHOW THEM THIS REVIEW FOR AN EXTRA $20 towards your NEXT donation TODAY!! (Austin PEAU office ONLY) Promotion ends 08- 11-2023.... *you MUST SHOW THIS REVIEW AFTER DOING YOUR KISOK QUESTIONS*

The older lady with the lightened hair does not know what she is doing. Because of her, not just me but the woman next to me couldnt get our blood returned and cant donate for 52 days! Then the lady blamed it on me for having a bad diet! And they called it a coincidence that it happened to both of us! The coincidence is that older lady. Everyone else was even tired of her asking questions.

Greg was very nice & professional! Wonderful experience ??

My experience with the staff and faculty has been great.

Didn't have a great experience for my first time?Walked through the door one of the workers just finished with a customer I walk to the counter and has blurts out I'm on break someone else will come up?..Then walks away?..Didn't make me feel like I was wanted or even try to help me with the process?1 star for me and probably won't donate ever because of this bad experience

will never go there again. they only paid me $5 after poking me twice and not able to hit a vein.

Great customer service and great environment love them they always make me laugh when I'm there

This is my 2nd donation and has been grrrrrrreat!!! All of the staff have marvelous and very attentive!!

Would give 5 stars if it wasnt for the wait time

All the people at this location are so warm and gentle. It's a pleasant experience.

The floor manager short slim lady with glasses always be high and sticking me in my arm to deep y?all need to do some drug testes

Nice people nice environment

The loonnnnnngeeesssst process ever til u actually get to donate. The staff acts so nonchalant about your time and all of them seem new like they don't know what to do. L have to wait til the kiosk reads u the question..and they read extremely slow. Whew I'm thinking all this for 100bucks????

Great place, nice people and always friendly! And a clean place, Will continue to donate

I have never donated plasma before, did my research and am glad I did. The employees and phlebotomists are awesome, professional and always have time for my (many) questions. Would, and do, recommend them!

I enjoyed going to this plasma bank. However, I once saw a phlebotomist pick up a needle while wearing gloves throw it in the garbage instead of the sharps container and continue to hook up a patient and stick them without changing gloves. Also, they need to pick the veins they can feel not the ones they can see. Other than my two complaints the center and staff are delightful.

The staff nice and didn't take that long and plus you helped to save lives

This is a very clean and friendly atmosphere they most definitely take care of the donors the management is Awesome also he actually has to stick me because of my lil veins but to know I'm helping another life means tha world I give them a 10 ???????????

Great staff very clean place of business

Everything went great

I love it they take care you and they very nice people

Great experience, professional, respectful, timely and safe.

Wonderful friendly employees quick service.

Staff was professional and timely with services provided. Explained process very well.

I absolutely love this place...the entire staff at the Winchester and Austin Peay locations are awesome...Keep up the good work!!!

I had never donated before and the process was amazing! The staff is so informative and patient. I don't think in would ever go anywhere else!

The thing that is the most annoying is how many people they have checking blood pressures in the front . There is normally a building full of so called workers but only 1 person up front with a line out the door. Get them folks some help smh.

Pros: new donor program cons: everything else

Customer service could be better, I feel like they express cleanliness here @ Octa

Great staff. Great service

Very thorough staff! I was very pleased with the entire process. Very clean facility! Thanks!

Wait time is ridiculous have to wait an hour in the waiting room almost an hour to get stuck and then an hour and a half on the machine the staff is more interesting each other than the donors

Was a pleasant experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Very friendly staff great service

This is the only center that's clean with great employees, staff and management. D makes sure everyone is doing their job.

I just went in there and they are not busy and none of them in Memphis will answer the phone

Very clean facility nice staff!!

I've tried a few different donation places and the people at Octapharma are the best! They're always friendly and fun

This place is clean friendly and fast

After you get done with your finger getting pricked in your heart beating stuff after you get done with that you got to wait to be called to get hooked up to the machine and sometimes if they're busy that can take like an hour I saw somebody wait for a whole hour sitting in a chair waiting to get hooked up to the machine because there was only one person administering the needle in your arm they're training everybody else but there was only one person and my mother-in-law waited for a whole hour after the f

Great customer service and workers. And an overall great environment

My experience was not great. It has been over hour and no pay.

It was really smooth and quick

Nice and clean with friendly staff

Came as a new donor with my son as a referral and left disappointed, and they did everything to make me not want to return, lower fees, no real incentive that stand out vs other plasma places they're on a decline this time next year they'll be gone

Octapharma Plasma is a very professional, updated and very clean location to donate plasma. The staff are very friendly and very helpful and professional.

This center has some of the most caring and Amazing staff love this place

Terrible!!!! On first visit as new donor took 5 hours and 21 minutes. On second visit as returning donor took exactly 6 hours. I am white and 2 other whites took 3 and 4 hours respectfully. Blacks were in and out in an hour. Typical Memphis. You tell me who is the racists.

Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
