I was very well attended to by Jackie H. What an incredible human being. I am a foreigner, I understand the language well, but I have a little trouble speaking it. Jackie was super patient, attentive and informative. This woman should be on the employee training team. God bless her! The place is clean and organized. Rating 10.

This grifols SUCKS! I get scrwwd out of my donation because the workers can't stick for nothing. Not all of them but a lot of them. This place isn't the best spot. But it's not on the company itself

I don't even know this place but the fact that someone left a sketchy piece of paper in the door handle of my car scared the crap out of me. I was prepared to call the police because this is SCARY. Whomever did this, NEVER DO THIS AGAIN. I thought I was going to get fentanyl dosed or kidnapped. The fact that the flier has no information and a tiny label made it even sketchier. It scared the daylights out of me. Whoever did this, fire them. I want nothing to do with this company.

I've got over 1,000 donations and this center is easily the worst i've ever been to. "Experienced" phlebs can't find my vein when its got a massive target right on it from my over 1k donations. Go to Octa instead, never returning.

This company has one of THE most shortsighted policies I have ever encountered. Because I live at a hotel(business)I don't ?qualify? to donate plasma. It's 2025, if this company doesn't realize people actually do live in hotels, they are in another world. My bank, DMV, credit card company AND the damn SSA accepts my address as a home. Regular plasma donor for over two years. Donating plasma is critical because it cannot be made synthetically. Therefore those who rely on plasma donations it can mean a better life. Donate and change a life while getting paid for each donation.

I love this place. The people are great and for the most part one doesn't have to stay too long. I allot myself 2 hours but sometime it takes a bit longer. Quite often they are short staffed and clients become very impatient however the staff are still doing their jobs well and as quickly as they possibly can. I appreciate them greatly.

First day I came I was told I had to have proof of my name change because I apparently had gone to another center several years before that had the same parent company. Second time I got turned away for low blood pressure (fine, I get it). Third time I was turned away because I finally got to the physical and I had surgery too recently. Very clean and professional. At the front desk, they answer all of the questions that you may have and are very polite. When you get to the back, they are down to earth and do their best to make sure that you're comfortable. People have to understand that one minute it maybe slow, than the next minute, ten people may come in at the same time. It would be a lot easier on the staff if the plasma machines were upgraded. Other than that, it's a great place to earn a few extra dollars.

I use to donate here when it was good. So I went back after a few years and on a Monday I was placed in the bed I waited 30 minutes not one member said hey we will be with you.The guy manager keep calling people and placing them on the bed. Donors were hooked up out of order although I said something. While finishing and waiting to be disconnected I was told I still had to wait! This location needs to get more organized. They do not value the donors time, and without the donors they wouldn't have a job!

I truly enjoy going here to donate. The staff are well trained, courteous, and observant. The only area that may need some work is the discussions of their personal lives around strangers. If the donor wants to talk about their personal lives that's ok, but the staff should not disclose too much about themselves. Reason being, you never know who's sitting in those chairs. All in all though outstanding facility.

6/4/23 This is my fourth visit. Seconded that week. (Which by the way on the first visit that week was only given 40 bucks for donating and was never told that . Coming from a decent amount the first two. Anyway I go to kiosk to start my questions and it abruptly stopped and said to go to the front desk. No problem . Stood there for 10 to 12 mins. One lady was all there was and only talking to one person the whole time I have been there.. so finally she starts walking towards the front and calls out a name

Great people and the reward works both way given and Receiving but if they world make each visit 100/ per visit I don't understand the 100 for the first 2 times then go way to 40 then to 90 time is being taken but continue the great work life's are being changed I'm happy to be a part of the mission.

This center is by far the worst in staff. I've been trying to donate since Friday August 6th. The manager himself tells me to call before I come back to see if its good to donate. I called Saturday, not a good time. Sunday not a good time. Monday they tell me yeah we should be able to get your transfer done and you should be able to donate. The front employees are so busy talking and arguing with each even when they have someone in the booth. They don't calibrate the blood pressure cups even when they are turning away client after client. They obviously don't care about people. The techs in the back are the opposite, kind and caring.

If I were to donate this is where I would go only because of cleanliness and some of the staff are actually professional. Others I can't speak the same for. Awesome place to donate plasma . I love the ladies here . ALWAYS Friendly and inviting. When I donate I make sure I have extra time in my day just in case it's longer than usual . I go in with positive attitude and get positive results . I've had to get a double poke once but as humans we all deserve patience . Those women do their best .

Staff is rude. I haven't donated in over 6 months; and received a promotional email regarding coming back to donate. So I thought, hey why not? Great place to give back and make some extra money too. I'm bad with names but have been treated with respect from every employee there. I do know a few who really make the experience as enjoyable as possible Tasha, Arianna, Alexis, Jessica are a few names I can throw out. Also Cassie who could find a vein in a flee and make it comfortable. If you are going to donate this is the location you should go. I have been going since May 2021, with no problems. The staff is friendly, sometimes unprofessional, but they get the job done. A little over two weeks ago I had a very bad experience. The phlebotomist used a vein that I didn't usually use, and when she stuck it, blood squirted out. I thought she went too deep, and she adjusted it but I still was in pain so we did the other arm. Two weeks later my arm looks like this. I haven't been able to straighten my arm for two weeks since this occurrence.

Wouldn't be so bad if they actually had more beds. Y'all can easily fit another 16 beds in the back. 2-4 hour donate times in the afternoon-evening Came in next day 6/30/22 and 4 hour wait. They got room for 60 beds but only have 23. Go back to appointments or something. This is rediculous

Great place to donate plasma, the nurses are great and I have had a wonderful time. The atmosphere in the back room is always cheerful and everybody is always in good spirits. I enjoy going to see everyone, they have even remembered my name and face which makes the experience great. Its like I get to visit family for an hour. ^-^ Thanks for the great laughs and great times.

The reviews are true!! August 8 2022 The black lady at the desk with the "coi leray braids" and long unprofessional nails &lashes is rude. She swatted me away, then her and her friend just stood there laughing and gossiping . She claimed she is a nurse. Well that nurse has no dignity &work ethics. She needs some training. I recommend this place over the other centers on the 7 cities. The staff makes you feel welcome. And the facility is very clean. It's nice to be able to save a live in a comfortable environment. The phlebotomy people are great stickers.

I scheduled an appointment today for a 5pm donation of plasma, was put on hold twice during the phone call but the way the woman told me to hold on was literally that, "Hold on, hold on!" Click.... me stitting there not sure what just happened? She did that twice. There is actually a proper way to switch lines, that would be, "Could you hold PLEASE." Then I made the drive all the way there(I live 30 minutes away in good traffic) and arrived 20 minutes early to be told I was not on their list, not for today

First donation was rough. Second was so much better. I forget her name but the lady with braces was so sweet. Even celebrated my little weight loss with me. Worth the time. Excellent team. Loving people.

Great staff, clean facility. Made it very easy to donate. Just make sure to bring picture ID and they also asked me for my social security card.

Complete garbage. Nothing but negative experience after negative experience. If you have a vehicle, drive somewhere else - Do NOT waste your time at this facility. This place is hit or miss, it all depends on who is working. Sometimes it's a great experience, and others it feels like a chore to deal with some the their employees. Absolutely terrible. Inbred. Only care about their friends getting paid as evidenced by them pulling the butterfly needle out of your arm then saying you deferred for 12 weeks because they don't know how much blood you lost them tending to do this when it is bonus time. Jessica is extremely rude. They act like it is their own personal business and do whatever they want with no supervision by corporate or any regard as to how they are reflecting on the parent corporation.

I have had generally positive experiences here. Many of the phlebotomists are good, but youre bound to get a tough visit once in a while. Ie they have trouble getting a vein. I doubt they could improve much though. When issues arise, I wish they would call it a day, give you enough for transportation, and be done sticking you. That would be my only criticism.

The baby shark's here at Grifols are great. They will have you entertained while you are donating. Majority of the staff is pleasant and will go out of their way to make you comfortable during your process. I will truly recommend any new clients to participate in helping a great cause at a wonderful facility! Also, the beautiful ladies here are a site to see while donating.

I came in for my first donation and from the moment I got there I experienced nothing but aggression, monotone expressions, and annoyance from the staff. To treat a first time donor like that and I didn't even finish the paper work. I did not donate nor will I ever to these people

I have been going to this center since they open up in Newport News and they always seem to improve my experience as a donor. Great service and I feel like part of the family. Do not go here! I called at 8:10 and 8:14 in the morning the day before and tried to make an appointment and they said no we don't have appointments well they do because for other people got in front of me. They said well they have appointments I said that's not fair she said that's not fair to them. I sat down there for over three hours and I did not get a dime don't go here it's a racketeering job and they are endangering your health at the same time

My experience has been great! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It makes me want to come in and donate. I feel good about donating to help others. The signs around the facility help me know where and who I am helping.

Friendly staff. Quick. Phlebotomists knowledgeable in their trade and don't mess up often.. or if at all unlike other plasma centers in the area. Their bonuses are also really organized and good to bring more people in to donate.

They were very nice and fast with getting the process done. They were patient with me as I was very nervous but there was really nothing to it. First 4 donations you get paid $100 and after that you get paid $50. Get paid for helping others.

Depending what time you go it's a fairly quick process. 90 mins for most donations. First visit is about 2.5. Staff is friendly and professional. I recommend to do a good deed and to make some extra cash.

They are so friendly and make donating easy! The first time does take around 2 hours, but after that it usually only takes an hour. I highly recommend going to them if you are thinking about donating plasma.

These are the same people transferred from the Settlers Landing location. Terrible attitudes, losing medical records constantly, and treating donors with absolute disrespect. They should all be fired. The same woman that let my return blood drip all over the floor the last time I donated, still works there. My vein was absolutely mutilated by her. She pierced through both sides of the vein multiple times and couldn't line it up to return my blood, blood pooled on my arm and onto the floor as she walked away

I don't know what happened but this center is unbelievably slow. I'm transferring to another center.. having to wait 2-3 hours each donation has really made donating at this center a waste of time.

The staff at Grifols are like family. They are great!!!! They keep us well informed about how to stay hydrated. Always get a great stick and am in and out.

Place is clean and the staff gets warmer the more they see your face. My only complaint is that they don't have an intercom to help you hear your name when it's called.

Pretty good place to donate. They pay more fairly than other plasma centers who pay based on weight. I started eating more meat and haven't had any more problem's with protein.
