I love this place .stuff here are so friendly Evan is so helpful he's a busy body and will stop what he's doing too make sure your comfortable. Morgan as well handy out candy but of course no eating on the floor ! Very friendly stuff and does there job very well ??

Horrible experience, actually had the young lady upfront tell me mind your business, continued to snort something out of her hand. While waiting for over an hour to be screened. These employees really dont care about their job.

Grifols is an amazing company never fails to keep me comfortable and happy. The employees here are like family and treat me as such. I don't plan on ever going anywhere else ever since I came here and a personal shout out to Evan for always having a painless stick and being so professional

Donating at this biomet has really helped me better. Understand the condition that my daughter had. I donate because my daughter used plasma to help get rid of her cancer. Thank you so much for all you guys do. Thank you Evan For always putting up with my different attitudes????????

I love coming here, the staff is very friendly and efficient. I especially love Ms Connie, Evan, and Ms Karen they are always nice to me and very professional. I would give this place 100 stars if I could!

I used to love grifols.. however over the years they have changed very drastically and greedful pay wise ALSO whoever came up with that ridiculous MARKETING PLAN for the BONUSES this year (2025) needs to go back to the drawing board it's not fair to dedicated loyal donors who's been donating faithfully for years to have to go through so much for a 1 time bonus when we used to literally get them in the same month not having to have to donate a month in advance to get a bonus that following month it's just cr

They are doing a lot better than they used to about 1-2 years ago!!! Morgan's awesome, Coralz( hope I spelled it correctly) is beautifuly excellent, short chocolate goddess with blonde shoulder length hair is an amazing woman, Connie has bn awesome not only here but at a past donation center. Honestly there is probably only a handful of staff that aren't to froggy!

They make you schedule an appointment. I scheduled a appointment for 8 i didn't get stuck till 9ish. They sat us down for thirty minutes before me even having someone stick me! This place is slow compared to the other centers

Called today Tuesday 11/26 and was told new doners don't need appointments just walk in told them I'll be there in about an hour. It's about a 45 minute drive for me and when I got there the girl went on break, 2 other people asked if they could help me told them I was a new donor they said I had to wait for girl to come back from break! I waited patiently and her break was more like a lunch hour! When she returned I was told they aren't taking any new donors today! Needless to say I was not happy! 90

I've been here 3 times. Only able to donate once. The first visit took 4 hours. Staff is terribly disorganized and in no hurry to do what they are supposed to. On my second visit the kiosk wouldn't work and I answered a question wrong then had to go talk to the nurse privately (after going through 63 questions 3 times) was given very poor communication about where to go and what to do next so just sat there thinking I was checked in. Finally got to the back and in a bed 2 hours later to be told I should ha

This place NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN OR NEEDS BETTER MANAGEMENT OR STAFFING........THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE THEY TAKE THERE SWEET TIME TO DO ANYTHING LIKE THEY NOT GETTING PAID ALREADY........

Amazing centwe best one in the 757 thanks to morgan, connie, karen, and evan best employees ever

If I say it's kool.. then it's kool??????.

Love this place it's reliable and great at being on time with service I love it

This place needs better staff. Things here are terribly unorganized, increasingly unprofessional. I sat in the bed for 20 minutes after my last turn to have the needle taken out. 20 minutes, that's absolutely ridiculous. Biomat, hire more people. Maybe the employees would have a better shift and the donors would have a better experience.

Tiger needs to get changed out for somebody else she is rude disrespectful and she treats us and her employees like children. The building is dirty every time I go in there now, it takes forever to get stuck let alone out the building. I have to wait 20 - 30 minutes to get disconnected . I feel bad for the staff she run?s I know it's overwhelming . But that lady is running grifols to the ground. I will never donate there again.

They've had a few moments in the past where I wasn't sure if I liked the place but whoever manages it now has got it under control!! I prefer this location above any others at the moment!!

Don't waste your time. This is the ghettoest plasma center I've ever been in smh ..this place if full of nothing but criminals and junkies smh it's legit not even worth the new doner pay ...... trash business

So far my encounters with staff have been good. I get when you're a new donor it can take a few hours as I've donated before, but my second time coming back I expected it to be quicker. The wait wasn't too bad. Got my vitals done and was told to wait for them to call me for the actual procedure. Yeah no. This is the second center I've been to where they've either lost my blood and I've had to redo samples and/or redo physicals every time. I was asked if I'd done a physical. I said ?yes when I came two days

? IN THE WAY ? so I come to plasma center today 4/16/24 as a new donor . Why did I do this lol . So they are set up where absolutely no one is at front counter . The seating is old donors back wall facing an employee ? possibly can be seen if they decide to move for a fraction of a second ? the new donors sit away from everyone opposing side of old donors and you won't be seen at all. You will also be forgotten about that your even there . So as I watched the old donors clear out twice I decided time to lea

DO NOT GO. I'm allergic to Iodine. Noting major but rash hives etc. When asked I clearly started YES I am allergic. She still used iodine. Bc of that I've been placed on a medical hold for Dr review. It's been 3 WEEKS and the Dr still has yet to " get to my review" 3 weeks. Despite the Dr being there every week. As told today we are not supposed to count on this as income bc these things happen... So you're telling me this happens all the time? Your staff is so careless they never pay attention or care? Thi

what happened to all the employees ? Frfr though, pay me more than my day job I'll come help out . I'll learn whatever y'all teaching . This place closed at 3pm today. I applaud this who are here rn . Where the manager and whatnot at ? We cant change our donation days without missing a day . I'm honestly baffled by the experience. It's more busy here on a Sunday than any other day of the week. Please throw some incentives or something for these folks. Every week I'm here for both donations ...it doesn't se

Horrible. Very short staffed. They ignore the phone so you can call 3 days straight and they won't answer. Took 8 hours as a new donor just for them to tell me oh your not a new donor just a sample only. And yes. 8 hours. Got there at 7am. Had 2 in front of me. Took until 1pm for them to finally call me into booth. My mom went to donate on Sunday. Took over 6 hours and she was a return donor.

The staff here is ridiculous. Almost 90% of everyone here plays to much when ppl are waiting 3-4 hours. I'm literally waiting as I'm typing this. And it seems when you complain to management they don't care. Also the staff will lie and tell you they aren't accepting new donors but whole time they are and they tell you there not just because they don't wanna deal with a new donor or the work. I've literally heard them over talking about that. It's about 3-5 ppl who actually work hard everyone else is lazy.

Evan is very Professional and always friendly.vl

My visit to Biomat was extremely unpleasant as the employees were incredibly impolite and solely focused on leaving work. They failed to have the necessary paperwork ready for new donors to fill out, resulting in individuals waiting for 5-6 hours before progressing to the next step. Overall, the experience at Biomat was appalling, with staff members showing no concern, refusing to answer questions, and displaying disrespect. It seemed as though they were only present to collect a paycheck without any regard

It's a very nice comfortable place

Almost always a terrible experience. Waiting to get screened is always a nightmare regardless of your number in the queue or how many people you think are ahead of you. Getting deferred for being out of range on vitals is fine, but they'll tell you to wait 15 minutes then it'll be almost 45. Next you'll be told to come back the next day for your pulse being too low by 1! If you do manage to make it through it's likely another 30 minute wait. Oh and if you happen to forget your donor number off the top of yo

Unprofessional, ratchet, and will let ANYBODY stick you. SOME of them are good sticks, some need to go get training. SOME move w/ a sense of urgency while others move like snails. Personally, I'd say Octa. 's better all around they even move faster, I've never had to wait as long. They just don't pay the same.

Bad experience here? use to be a good place to donate but current staff seems a little inconsiderate and incompetent? not everyone but the bad out weighs the good? every time I donate here I almost never get paid the same day? last time it took two days and now I'm having the same issue again? that's highly inconvenient smdh?.

Some of the staff are very nice and cordial. The wait times are a pain. The place as a whole could do with a good dusting. When I came around the 4th visit the female bathroom was gross and no cleaning staff.

Worst experience I've had at an establishment! The wait time is well below average. Would not let me donate even though I've donated with other companies many times due to the fact that waiting 3 hours in the lobby to finally get seen had made me exhausted so they Kicked me out before I could even start my donating process because I closed my eyes for 30 seconds. Jessy said to be the head nurse had a repulsive attitude that made you not want to ever step foot in the building again. When I asked for the cor

Don't bother this place is a joke. You'll just end up wasting your time. Aaliyah has the worst costumer service skills I've ever seen in a person and she deserves to lose her job. Just go to Other plasma centers down the road way faster/friendlier/cleaner.

I became a new donor and had an amazing experience. From the beginning, Jen assisted me in going through my registration and medical exam. She was very professional and kind, with an awesome personality. She led me through the process and was more than happy to answer my questions and insure that I was comfortable with my decision to donate. When I was taken to the back to donate, the staff was so courteous and made me feel comfortable. They were very efficient and made the donation process enjoyable. They

I've been waiting here for over an hour as a New donor. They have my I.D social security card and my lease. All my personal information and I haven't spoken with anyone since giving them those documents . I work at a plasma center and this is completely chaotic I worked for octapharma and csl plasma and they both prioritize their new donors

Most of the time I have no problem being here, staff isusuallyon point and ready to go. Most care as well but today the staff has been so slow and uncaring. I'll make sure to never come on Wednesday's again. No one seemed to be actually doing there job or much less care about the patients.

My first visit was yesterday and yes, it took a while BUT things you should take into consideration is that #1 your donation is helping to save lives and #2 you're getting compensated for your time. The place was clean, my nurse Jennifer who did my physical was nice and professional. What America needs now is for people to come together and help each other. I'll be there again tomorrow.

Updated; the place has really come together inthat the staff work better together.. they've been keeping the Liness moving so you don't stand for too long. And 50 bucks a donation is a lot better than what they were doing. but I still think some of the staff could be nicer.

They lie, they don't pay anything and they quit giving bonuses. And you have to do physicals every 60 days and you only get 25 to 30 bucks for donating 4 hours of your time. The staff is condescending, rude, arrogant and flat out trifling. It's a scam. They make 7,000$ to $10k a pint and they pay you pennies for profit. They can milk someone else hopefully not you.

The center is the best I have had the pleasure of donating at! Staff is 100% professional almost like family. That's not really saying much seeing how we're talking about my family LOL

Horrible customer service. They will not acknowledge a line, a person needing help, or if there's a problem with your registration they will leave you sitting there for hours without explaining to you the problem. My girlfriend has small veins so instead of allowing her to request the only person that can catch her veins, the people in there fished around in her arm with the needles which was very painful for her.

An employee repeated my full social security number and full name over the phone to another center MULTIPLE times in a room full of other donors. She then asked me to a separate room and told me they couldn't allow me to donate at their center. When I asked for more clarification or what could be done, she repeated herself without answering any of my questions or concerns and left the room. All the other employees were kind and helpful, but her rude behavior, unprofessional conduct, and unhelpfulness soured

So I refer a new donor. He was already in the process of donating but did mention my name. However because he was already in process, they told me that the next time I donate, I should receive my $25 bonus. I even had a referral card signed that day to ensure I get it. I get here today, and now they say I can't receive it. I even showed them the referral card. Luckily a manager was available and the issue was rectified. **ALWAYS make sure that your referral puts YOUR name in THEIR paperwork. Thanks ladi

Every time I come here, its always a great experience. The staff are energetic, fun, and make people laugh with good conversation. They always check on you and make sure you are comfortable.

Horrible treatment for donors and new donors. No one picks up the phone to answer donor questions, they'd rather let the phone ring while they stand at the front desk and watch it ring (busy or not). For instance, if you were a return donor and something happened to as where you had to wait a week for a sample to come back and donate and you wanted to call to check the status of your sample before arriving at the donor center to avoid wasting gas or time just to find out if your sample was sufficient or ins

Slow slow slow slow... Some of the workers are horribly incompetent!! They know nothing didn't even get fully trained!! Management suck!! They screw up and you call them out on their bs and some how its your fault. It was 10 people in the lobby when i got their and it took them an hour and 10 mins to call my name with only 10 people waiting to be screened!! Horribly slow lack customer service.. Not saying all the workers are bad but most of them are incompetent you have to talk really slow and use little wo

Go to OCTAPHARMA DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. I've donated before at Octapharma plasma and wanted to try a new place. Big mistake. I walk into this place and I'm not even acknowledged. I just awkwardly stand there waiting for one of the 3 people at The front desk to even look at me. And it wasn't even that busy?.maybe 5 other people sitting down. The fat man at the computer would not even look up at me. I kept making comments under my breath how this place was a joke. Still nothing. Then another person who wa

Totally and completely incompetent as well as disorganized!! They offer and encourage appointments yet they don't appear to speed the process any. I was told that after the initial visit I wouldn't have to do the physical again and since then I've had to do two more. Each taking a considerably long time(2-3 hours). They will tell you that you need certain documents on the phone and when you get here they ask for something totally different. To top this all off they lost my samples and I have to start the en

I'm very satisfied with the customer service at Grifols, Military Highway. The staff is always nice and friendly. About a few weeks ago, my engagement ring fell off of my finger as I was putting my coat on. Apparently, another donor picked up and took off with it. The managers and staff at Grifols went above and beyond to make sure I got it back. So when I received it today, I literally lit up like a Christmas tree. So thank you all again for making sure I got it back. Also, for deferring the man who took i

Worst place ever! Very unprofessional staff! The wait is unbelievable like 6 hours. They are rude and sit around talking about everything under the sun. They treat everyone like drug users. Very unorganized. None of the staff, never know what's going on. Blood on walls and doors. They make up the rules, according to how they are feeling at the moment! By far my worst experience ever.

Usually they are great but this week for some reason has been very unpleasant to donate. I was turned away 3 times this week due to high volume. Today i was told my temperture was ok at the front door and that my temperature was not ok once i got seen. The little girl who took my temperature had no idea what she was doing on the computer and looked very annoyed to be helping me. There is only one hour left of the day and she is obviously ready to go home. Is this how we get treated as donors? As heros? She

They are extremely efficient here. Great Customer Service. Only reason I didn't give 5* is I would like to request specific Phlebotomists... But compared to other donation sites these folks here Rock;)

For the past 5 years i been to 3 different donor centers. This one is the best one! There is never a long wait and the staff definitely knows what they are doing. I appreciate everyone that works there! Continue to be the best!

I'm here now, been here an hour and a half and still not hooked up. The staff was rude when I told them I'd been here for an hour, and it took 30 minutes to be taken to the donor bed and they are not busy. It has almost ten minutes to set up the machine and I'm still not stuck. I'm going back to octapharma. As bad as they are they are better than this

Place is clean but there understaff and it shows staff in rude and in a rush didn't even clean me up properly. Also for all the time you have to wait because of understanding you would think they would compensate.

This was the worst experience of my life..They were understaffed..on October 16 at 12 pm the supervisor quanae a dark skin African American female with dreads and glasses verbally abused me because my blood wasn't flowing at a certain speed after she restuck me for the second time before she connected the second cords for the the restick she let the cord sit on the floor for over 60 seconds then attempted to reattach the contaminated cord to the needle that was already in my arm..then when I cautioned her o

It can be slow getting into the back at times but the staff has always been nice to me even on bad days. Don't donate on Sunday unless you have time to waste

Horrible experience here. Followed the rules completely for their buddy bonus program. And didn't get paid the bonus. Because there's a system issue on their end. Spent all day waiting for them to fix it.

Please be prepared to spend 3-4 hours here EVERY TIME YOU COME. THE STAFF SPEND MORE TIME EXERCISING THEIR POWER OVER THE DONORS THAN DOING ACTUAL WORK. THE WOMAN COUNTED CHAIRS THE ENTIRE MORNING VS SCREENING PEOPLE. CHECK THE CAMERAS... THE "MANAGER" took more time maintaining her hair than managing the center for the BEST production ( red tommy Hilfiger sweat shirt on 11-21-21 @ 10: 15am) she came out of her office 1 time.. To see why people were complaining OUTSIDE.. BUT SHE QUICKLY STEPPED TO THE SIDE

They don't answer the phone when you call to the building for help with questions. The also turned the machine up to much and I literally seen my vein deflate.

If you want a professional staff, clean building from the fron the front to the back, people who care about the donor, recipients of plasma and the business they work for this is the place. I am in healthcare and have been for 30 years now and I HONESTLY love the enviroment and staff here. If you have an issue, they will contact you, get the details and help resolve the issue and follow the policy set in place which is good for all concerned.

Evan by far is one of the greatest.

Very nice facility, they are slower that octapharma. However the staff is very pro and they don't reject my samples like octa. Most workers came from octa. They should pay more though, I will have to return to octa due to no bonuses and lower payout.

Horrible expierence took them over 20 hours to get me set up as a new donor in the first week literally came back 4 days in a row to have my file transferred from out of state and set up. Finally once I was a new donor for them the girl Brittany who did my screening to be able to donate was just horrible to me and extremely rude. Once I made it through to the back it wasn't horrible was stuck fast and out fast. Second time I went in I got Brittany for my vitals again and her attitude was the same then she t

You know what? I had the pleasure of experiencing Grifols and Biomat firsthand for a week and I can understand resentment from the outside looking in, but I'll elaborate a little from my perspective of not just this establishment, but the plasma industry as a whole. It's tough, it's pretty slow, redundant, and often thankless, but it's a highly necessary service that saves lives. People make mistakes, but rigorous training goes into the process, records and sequences are quite meticulous, and while the lad

Thank goodness I don't go here, but my husband does. He said it's totally ghetto with horrific swearing and disrespect including clients and employees. They need to give this place a clean sweep!

Biomat is a company that is build on trust , and that means all staff are caring and helpful. On my first visit I was met with kind individuals helping me right away. (Had appointment) Glenda a staff in training is attentive and seems to express emotions sincerely. Jenn did my intake and has superb customer service skills. Thank you for eveyeveryt be sure to return back ?? if you are first-time donor please put my name as a referral we both receive extra money from this. Robert vallespi Mahalo family!!!

These people are ABSOLUTELY RUDE! AND UNPROFESSIONAL! They don't follow healthcare OSHA AND HIPPA PROTOCOLS, THEY VIOLATE PATIENT RIGHTS AND ARE EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL! THEY MAKE DEROGATORY COMMENTS TO CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE BEEN LOYAL DONORS! THEY TRY TO BULLY YOU! AND THEN WHEN YOU TRY TO DEFEND YOURSELF OR RETURN THE SAME DISRESPECTFUL ENERGY THAT THEY GAVE YOU THEY GET MAD AND LIE ON YOU AND TRY TO DEFER YOU. A Phlebotomus who was working on me was having a conversation with another phlebotomist gossipin

Good staff ,clean place everyone is on point for the most part they could up the pay and pay more but I doubt that happens but they could stop talking when there working and got a full house and they need to be up beat with things I know everyone ain't perfect and it's a place of business they could do there part and we can do ours they need more seats opens and more staff and better pat for the staff I mean they do more than expected of them anyways but hey that's my opinion

They are under Staff you will be in their for more than 3hrs minimum The Caucasian older lady at the front desk is very rude the people in the back take their time u will be seating on the bed for atleast 30 mins you Can compare them to actapharma ween it comes to service

They give you a reasonable pay out but I wouldn't recommend going here if you have things to do . Their low staffed and u could be waiting for hours just to get into a chair. New donors are not Prioritize. You have to wait to double the wait time

I absolutely love coming to donate. All of the staff here are extremely pleasent and courteous. Heather is truly a jewel... she's forever jolly and welcoming..

It was a light wait when I first got here but the staff on the floor handled business. Brooke did an excellent job of getting me set up

First off, Ive been donating plasma for 8 years. Been to many centers. This center is short staffed. The technicians are rushed, not something I feel is good when it comes to the nature of work they do. The donor fees are weak and you will spend atleast two hours here to donate. Go to Octapharma. Fees are consistent and they always have 6 techs on the floor.

I prefer coming to this location than Portsmouth. All the staff are nice and friendly and you're in and out in a timely manner.

I felt like an inconvenience to the staff. I was sat in the wrong section by the receptionist and bc i was sat in the wrong section i had two people get stuck before me that came in after me. They need to get their stuff straight rather than blaming the customer take responsibility

By far the worst plasma place I've been .spent a 1 hour in the chair waiting as the employee who kept walking and leaving to talk to other people and do other things. Half the place was empty when I got to the back and still took 45 min to just get to the chair. Then finally when she went to stick me she just kept digging around in my arm . Will never go back

Was nervous about donating here. Since day one all the staff has been amazing!!! From new donor registration, screening, medical to the actual phlebs. Very professional. The need more locations. Way better than Octapharma plasma

Alway fast friendly and helpful. Much better then Octapharma Plasma Virgina Beach. Every lady here is so sweet and nice. The guys are great here too. If you are looking to donate this is the place to donate at.

Great service, great staff! Excellent sticks and very quick and reliable service! I have donated at other centers and this is by far the best!

Ashanti was amazing and she stuck me good ! It didnt hurt at all . Id recommend her ,to anyone . Great customer service . Thanks so much .

Fast clean easy and very professional staff

The best location in Virginia. My opinion. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Quick and efficient. Sometimes a little wait but it's well worth it.

The staff is friendly but are easliy distracted. I waited 20 minutes just for them to tell me I couldn't donate because i needed proof of address. I gave the proof of address 2 separate times. Where did it go and why was I allowed to donate if it wasn't already documented that I have proof of address.

They provide an opportunity and platform for those who believe in Christ and God to supply life to those in desperation. They're always willing to put a smile on your face and warm your heart.

Greatest experience ever for a first time donor. The staff was very friendly and eager to chat with you and the wait wasn't bad at all.

Place is full of uncaring and unhelpful staff who are rude. Your better off going to Octapharma. Don't even waste your time on them. Way worse than octapharma 0/100.

They alway smake sure that I'm good to go. Everyone is upbeat and pleasant. Definitely recommended for a side hustle

I love the staff they very very friendly and kind. And this location is near home. Tha a lot

The staff here at Biomat are very friendly and hard working. Wait times vary from day to day, but the staff is great

They bathrooms are clean, the kiosk are fast, and they have a sense of humor great people and colorful wraps

Almost everyone here is very rude and not understanding at all. This is by far one of the most unnecessarily complicated places I have been and any other donation center would be better for you.

Wonderful staff they are very kind and stay with you through the whole process If you live in the area and want to support people who need plasma this is a great place to go

Very professional staff. Always in and out in a timely manner. I enjoyed the experience.

They are clearly ready for the zombie apocalypse. I downgrade the stars each time it's busy and I can see the management staying in the office.

This place is terrible. They will leave u sitting in the lobby while u are bypassed by friends of employees, and the management will laugh in your face when u present the issue, it's sad that biomat is more worried about friendships than actually getting the plasma who need it. Sad

Great staff! Typically quick service as well. Keep up the great work team!

If you are a Caucasian of any status above poverty, you will be ignored. Do not go to tis facility.

very nice place but staff is very unfriendly and has no urgency whats so ever worked at octapharma for almost 2 years and as bad as they are at least they strive to get people in and out

Friendly, casual, competent and skilled staff and reasonably quick service. Never had reason to complain.

They are very sweet very fast with their work and I always like coming here

They are a very kind and clean facility they are super busy

They never answer the phone and when you leave a message they don't call you back

They defer you for the Pettiest reasons and act unprofessional and also have a lot of racist staff working with them

I'm treated with a hospitality unmatched. Ms Latreda and the other ladies are great at what they do day in and day out.

Been here since 12:30, it is now 2pm. Still have not been seen. Service is slow.

Best Donation Center in Norfolk !! I appreciate the service that biomat employees provide. They are always cooperative and the best at what they do.

Been coming here for a year and the facility has been top notch professional fast and clean

The workers stand around and talk like you not right there it's sad

Best plasma place ever everyone is so nice and generous I would highly recommend this place for people to go.

great atmosphere and great people some stand out for then others (Julia) are one of those people

The people are always friendly and courteous and most importantly professional. I'm glad to be apart of team Grifolls.

The staff at Biomat is awesome. They are very friendly, efficient and knowledgable. I highly recommend them.

Everytime I come in it takes me 2 to 3 hours to donate because they are always short staff, they need to have more people working and stop trying to save money and save the donors time before they don't have any

It was the worst bad communication and staff was slow and nobody seems to know things when you ask questions

Terrible and slow. Everything is at a snails pace and the people that work there don't take it serious.

Its always a good experiance for me here! I definitely reccommend This location to others.

La Quinta was excellent with great customer service and made my time there very pleasant
