Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the friendly, professional staff who create a comfortable experience, with many highlighting quick service and positive interactions. However, recurring complaints include long wait times, poor phone responsiveness, difficulty scheduling appointments, and occasional rude or inexperienced staff. The facility seems understaffed, leading to frustration despite generally good donor care when attended to. Technical issues with systems and inconsistent policies also draw criticism. Positive experiences often depend on individual staff members' attitudes.

You have too many people that hate their job. I wanted to help, but now I will never donate to this group again and don't recommend anyone go here either. They don't listen, think they understand your body better than you do, and wait till an extreme happens before they take action. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Go elsewhere. They will treat you better, and you won't be in pain.

I have been donating for about 14 years. It's a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is always happy to see you and yet remains professional at the same time. It can get busy at times but that's any medical facility. The only difference that I would make is to have someone at the front counter to man the phones and answer questions of the new people who come in.

As a new donor I had been referred to give plasma to supplement social security and earn a little extra spending money from a friend on the other coast of Florida. When I made the appointment the nurse seemed very polite and professional. Upon returning the following day for my appointment the male receptionist/nurse was polite but to me a bit condescending. I realize they need to know you can read English but just ASK! Stood there and read the first line "out loud" as requested. Then was as

The intake process for new donors is horrid. People at the front desk are less than helpful and genuinely awful. When you show up for your first appointment they act like you are a major inconvenience. But once you become a donor the process becomes streamlined, and the phlebotomist are all very pleasant.

Maria was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was unable to do my appointment and waited for 3 hours!!! She told me to do my height and never told me to scan my QR code again to be seen to donate. She was super rude to me when I asked about others going in front of me and how I've been waiting for an hour at that time. She brushed me off and walked away rudely. To think she is the manager is beyond me. I wasn't even compensated for the long wait and unable to donate because it took too long. I'm very disap

The whole staff is great! Rebecca in particular is amazing at her job. She is very friendly and being that I am nervous around needles she def makes the whole process less stressful. I have a tricky vein that she seems to have no problem with.

This place is an absolute joke now. They failed to inform people of the changes they were making. Now you have to listen to staff not only scream and yell at donors but at each other as well over these changes. The process that used to take you 2 hours tops now takes 4 hours or more even with an appointment scheduled. Honestly they just need to go back to the old way if it's this much of an inconvenience or up the pay for the way the donors are being treated while they get their crap together!!!

I understand getting new equipment and being a little behind, but the setup and transition of new equipment and training is terrible. They definitely did not plan for this at all. They still allow people to make appointments and they still take walk ins. I understand that things get backed up, but taking people that have appointments after others and were here 30-45mins before them, is not ok. I switched donating centers for the convenience of being able to make appointments and with that, that it would be

I've been donating here for a little while, now. Before coming here, I donated at another company for about a year, so I think I can make a decent comparison. When I was researching donation centers, I considered what they pay, their restrictions, ease of the whole process, etc. I read lots of reviews, and Biotest came out on top for this area. As it turns out, I am glad I chose this center. I kept reading about Jorge and Germaine, and now I know why - Jorge made the physical part of the process simple, qu

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I have been experiencing Indirect Discrimination and been treated unfairly by a worker named ?Aaliyah? here at Biotest of Fort Myers. I was sitting with a needle in my arm for a long time once I completed my donation as I watched her take everyone around me who finished after me before me and not once did she acknowledge me or the fact that I was done before any of the clients she took. She then proceeded to have her back turned towards me and left me and did not

Awesome staff who is always friendly and professional. Been going here for years and have never been mistreated. To the new stuff member Rebecca, you are awesome and a fantastic personality, an excellent addition to this company.

I switch to Grifols from another company in north fort myers. The phlebotomists here are so much nicer. They always have plenty of staffing and the facility is clean and VERY well organized. There are never long lines and they have a waiting area where you can sit down while waiting to donate. You're treated like a person here and not like cattle

Grifols is a great place to go if you're looking for extra money in your pocket, for about an hour or less of your time (the first donation takes about 1 to 2 hours). Plus with your donation you will be helping others. Ask for Derek for great donation experience, he is very professional and gentle. There is an app to help schedule appointments making the experience easier and relaxing.

Rebecca is the consummate professional while dealing with donors. Rebecca made my last visit comfortable with her caring and focused execution of her job. Even though she has only been there a while, a raise is definitely in order for Rebecca. Rebecca cares about her donors and sets the standard for all her peers to emulate.

The center has improved so much over the past year!! It is so much more efficient!!! There are so many good phlebotomists who are so careful with sticking your veins. Derrick, Katherine and Umma are three favorites but again the whole staff is friendly and caring. I've been donating 2x a week for over a year! Thank you all for your hard work!!

After 4 days of trying to get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment I ended up having to come in in person today. I was starting to explain the issues to get in touch with their center to the lady helping me when I girly angry looking guy started to yell at me and argue. I tried reasoning with him, but he was just angry. He started to explain that the phone are never picked up and that the only way to make an appointment is in person. I turned back to the lady that was helping me and asked her to

The floor team on my visit did a fantastic job. Jalyssa is definitely ready for a raise and next steps. Katherine is doing a fantastic job training a new team member. Katherine knows her job. Janeth goes about her job with the utmost concern for donor safety. And Aaliyah. Can't say enough about her career progression and her readiness for management. Watched her train many now successful floor staff. Melissa is now wearing many hats and did so as she fought through personal adversity. Finally Umme. Umme al

Went in yesterday and competed my first donation. The whole process took just 2 hours.. I have to say I was very impressed. I have donated in the past( not at this center) and it has taken up to 5 hours... Great job to all the staff who helped yesterday..????????

Well, with the new setups, it takes even longer to complete. I arrived at 1:30 to a waiting room full. Didn't sit until 3, and it 5 now and still not done. How is this better?

3 stars because while MOST of the staff is helpful and professional, there is someone who likes to answer the phone and immediately hang up. Had to call four times in a row to actually speak with someone. I know the sound of a ringing phone is annoying and sometimes you've got other priorities at hand, but like, just pick up and put me on a hold, maybe? I'd gladly wait.

Umme is the best! I love ?? her energy and is always kind . All the staff is super kind and helpful and their new appointment system gets you in and out quick !!! Fast and easy pay day! Ty guys!

No one answers the phone. I can't schedule an appointment either in the app or online. The best the app says is for me to go down there. Why? What's the problem? This company is having serious issues. I wanted to help people by donating but they can't even staff someone to answer their phone. I'm guessing they are going to go under soon.

Completely and disgustingly unprofessional. They have a website with information that is not only false, but they don't follow anything stated on it. Completely baffles me that more is required from donors than the actual employees that were hired. Not only does no one answer the phone AT ALL (MIND YOU, WHILE WAITING THE PHONE WAS RINGING OFF THE HOOK MEANWHILE STAFF IS LITERALLY JUST WALKING PASSED BACK AND FORTH LAUGHING AND CHIT CHATTING WITH EACH OTHER), but they also allowed one person, for sure, under

My Exceptional Experience at Biomat USA Plasma Donation Center I recently visited Biomat USA located at 4391 Colonial Blvd Fort Myers, Fl for plasma donation, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The center is conveniently located, making it easily accessible for donors. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Dawn and Elena who exemplified outstanding customer service and set a positive tone for my visit. The facility is impressively equipped with state-of-the-art machin

Jalyssa was very kind and always funny. Since her vacation she has been much more relaxed and overall joyful!!! I may come back ??

The ladies who work in here are rude. This was my first time in this place and there was nobody at the desk most of the time I was in there, when I went to return their informational binder, I was asked if I had informed anyone before I sat back down for 10 more minutes. How am I supposed to inform someone who's not there at an empty desk? I don't work here I don't know anyone who works here I don't know how to get a hold of them. This is my first time as they knew, not sure why they would put that responsi

I'm a person that weighs 250 and I want to take a who quart and just give me $45 crazy. I'm a return donor and I had To say no to that. The average salary is. 12 dollars An hour and I'm there for like 4 hours. Do the math that's already $48 just to be there? And then you wanna poke me with? Thick Needle Then my hand gets numb, not worth it.

Steven is very intelligent, informative, kind, considerate & a very positive person with a beyond average IQ= Intelligence Quotient Jordan os THEE ?? 1/2. I just don't recommend. Always an issue. There's some nice people that work there though, but the intake person always messes something up and always small snide comments about me

Moved to Florida recently. Don't have driving license here yet. I do have a Bonita Springs Community Recreation Ctr. Card with my picture on it. Can't get this unless you're a resident of the city. It was not good enough. The plaza ctr. Is understaffed.

Never had a single issue with this place, I've been going here for over 3+ years and I've seen all kinds of people that go here and complain about the speed but they're working with the best they've got. I feel like I've experienced every problem in this place that a customer could from being stuck outside of the vein and getting a bubble or having to get restuck or even being wrapped not tight enough but I've never let that stray me away from the place. Everyone here is super friendly, courteous, and help

Don't bother. Besides a few good hard working employees, this place is a joke. On a good day you'll be lucky to get out in less then 2.5 hrs..... if you're lucky. I've waited up to 4 plus hrs and that is with appointments. The equipment they use is old, the beds you lay in is horrible. The place has bad energy and even alot of the people who donate are obnoxious. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to donate

DONOR BEWARE IN CASE YOU DON?T HAVE A WHOLE DAY TO SPEND AT THE PLASMA CLINIC. So I've donated a few places in my life and honestly, the employees are some of the kindest I've seen in a plasma clinic. I would have rated it 5 stars, but I made an appointment for 10:30, I arrived on time, and now it's 12:15. Haven't even started donating. Still in the waiting room. Which means I still have to wait to get stuck AFTER I finally get back there. I want to help people and donate, but to donate 3 - 4 hours? When yo

I waited over an hour just to be seen and when I talked to one of the employees I was informed I would have to wait longer clear your whole day of you want service.

I drove all the way from Naples to come here. It was my very first visit and i knew it would take at least 4 hours. It was the most fastest and easiest process and it didn't even seem like I was there that long. Jorge was the most sweetest and pleasant guy I got to deal with. He went above and beyond to make sure I could donate today and not have to drive all the way home empty handed. There was a bit of a conflict but he thought fast and fixed my problem instantly. I am so happy with my visit and will be g

The staff is always very helpful and concerned. My veins are small and require special attention and they always give it to me. Hats off to Diana and Ashley for always being so great to me!!! I also would like to say that Crystal is extremely helpful as well. I can not say enough good things about the center, the Staff, and the service they provide.

I was super scared and nervous about donating but the staff here were all awesome! The lady at the front was great and Dr Jorge was really nice and funny and I loved Jermaine! He helped me feel comfortable with the process and made it easy for me! I will definitely be back to this center again!

I truly enjoy donating and find the staff very friendly and personable. The donation center is very organized and clean. I have donated flawlessly many times. I have had only one incident which was tonight in which a staff member seemed hurried as it was busy. The needle stick didn't feel right and my donation site had to be switched to my other arm as it was not running properly after the first cycle. This caused the donation to not fully complete as there were issues within the tubing during the process.

A Wonderful Staff that work hard to make our time there pleasant and safe. Lisa and Angie always make me feel comfortable and at ease every time. It can take some time to get through if it's busy and irritation can set in. I try and remember that I'm here to help not just get money. They do there best to get everyone through in a timely manner however we all have those days where nothing go's right and we all just have to keep in mind that it's a business and they have those days just like us so give them a

Great staff and great service! First time donor today, and the staff was so helpful and great! Would recommend to others, to never go on a Sunday...not that the center did anything wrong, but that EVERYONE comes on this day ?? prepare for a wait...the staff I encountered from the receptionist, to the "double mint twins" Crystal 1 and Crystal 2 (I'll let yall hash out who is who ??) to Allie (who absolutely has my utmost confidence, make that girl a trainer!!)to Jasmine, who helped make a slightly stressful

They are so short handed yet are still allowing the same amount of people to schedule appointments per slot. You still wait 2 to 2 1/2. Before you even get a chair. Expect a 4 hour adventure minimum. Bring lunch or dinner, you will be hungry until your done! My last appointment I was turned away at the door and told they would call if they got to my name. They called 1/2 before they closed. I live 45 minutes away. 1 1/2 hour plus gas wasted. It stinks when it cost you time and money to do nothing.

Expect to spend 4-5 hours each appointment even after your first one. some of the Employees in the back taking blood are extremely lazy. No sense of urgency or work ethic whatsoever. Use your brains and take less appointments. It's not that hard to figure this out. Management is absolutely terrible! Never seen worse!

On 6/14/2016 I went to donate plasma and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff there that day was very nice, friendly and patience.Erika was very nice and professional. Daniel was very nice, professional and he explained everything to me. He understood me and he showed me that he actually care for me. Jordan is a nice young lady. Patricia was very friendly, nice and made me feel at ease when I was nervous. Kat is the type of person that make you feel really comfortable. Bob was one of my favorite pe

I haven't even gone to start vitals because of the tremendous amount of bad reviews regarding wait times and the lack of a resolution. If they're understaffed, then add more staff and adjust your procedures immediately. Dont just apologize and do nothing. Thats frustrating to see. Incredibly unfortunate that people willing to help are put through hours of wait time with an appointment. When i see reviews change for the better, Ill adjust my rating and head in to donate. For now I'll have to stick with cheap

Confused about all these one star ratings for wait times? Is this your first time donating people? For your first visit your always looking at 2-4 hours. After that usually about 2. You're getting paid 125 dollars for what? 4 hours max? Lmao. Not only are you getting paid way more then deserved for such little time you're also saving a life. Crazy how salty you people are.

I have been here before around a year ago and didn't have the best experience even back then because of the inconsistency of how my arm was being stuck, there were times when they had to stick me several times and unexperienced phlebotomist working there. I decided to go back and try to donate again however this time not only is it up to a 5 to 7 hour wait but the staff is so disoriented. I tried twice to make an appointment, even with the appointment it was unrealistic for any person that has a job or fami

My experience at this facility so far has been absolutely fantastic. I was hesitant at first to donate, but was amazed with all the detailed information I was given during my first visit. The staff at this facility are amazing and I would like to recognize a few of them by name. Ashley (took my plasma) is absolutely professional and accurate. She continually checks on me (while donating) to see if I need anything while the system is working. She is very kind and made me feel at ease. Thank you Ashley for

The staff is great and the process always goes smoothly. However the wait times are terrible. Even with an appointment you wait an hour and a half to two hours before you even begin to donate. I hope they hire more staff soon to keep up with all the people who want to donate.

I donated yesterday and it was a very easy process. The first time there so it took about 4 hours but I expected that. Very smooth and structured process. I had my physical performed by Jorge and he made me feel comfortable. He explained what Biotest is about and what the next steps were in the process. He even came to check on me while I was hooked up to the machine. The technician that performed the venipuncture was awesome (I wish I could remember her name). Everyone was very nice and made me fe

Unless you dont have anything else to do in your day.... the waiting times are insane even with an appointment. Why even make appointments? They start the day off behind. Also, in talking with some of the staff, they are extremely under paid for the job they do.... maybe they need to rethink that part if they cant keep a staff. People arent gonna stay if you run em ragged and stress them out by always being shorthanded. It's not worth it. I dont feel like anyone's time is valued...they're only concerned a

This place was amazing they have an amazing staff who is dedicated to helping you with your donation. They helped me get through a lot even with my fear of needles. One of the doctors named Jorge was simply amazing he gave me a positive attitude and treated me like family because of him I got through the test with ease. They made me want to come back even with my fear of needles. Thank You to the staff of the Biotest. ??

Why was I told that my name doesn't match my social security when it's the same one Ive used my entire life. I don't usually carry my social security card on me because I've lost one before and had to replace it and don't really see the need to when I can look up information online. I was refused to be even looked at because I was told my social security number does not match my person or name. But yet I've gone to the same grifols for years to come. And then I also get told that know I have to have my soc

I just donated plasma here today for the first time ever! I was very nervous about it since I'm new to this, and last time I got ?blood work? done at my regular doctors office, I got very faint, but all the staff made me feel safe and cared for! Jermaine was extremely kind, attentive, and comforting. The physical substitute answered every and all of my questions! All the technicians on the floor are on the lookout for any problems so I felt very safe. Yes it takes a bit of time completing the questions, phy

Thank you shawna your awesome thank you for been so nice you have a heart of gold

I was initially so nervous! Jorge did my intake exam and put me at ease. He was kind and courteous, patient, and calm. He's very genuine and took the time to check on me during the process. Gina did my 2nd stick and was gentle and sweet. Jermaine for the 3rd- so awesome!!!!

Place has gone down hill. Change rules and don't follow on their end of things. You have to be at your appt. But they don't have to be ready for your appt. U get 5 minutes and u will be turned around but you can wait in line for 20 to 30 minutes to get screened then you have to wait in lobby for 30 minutes to hour and half. So your appt going to take u from 1hr and 30 minutes to 3 hrs so plan ahead

The team was very informative, professional and time efficient. The physician substitute, Jorge, completed a thorough physical with the amazing accountability observation of his colleague Melissa. This facilities accountability measures and communication skills are impeccable! The management and its entire team are truly second to none.

They are so slow it's not right that it takes over an hour to be put in a bed not very happy with this center at all ?? Update Been in my bed for 25 minutes and not one employee has even spoke to me still not hooked up at acknowledged what is wrong with these employees? Here we go again I haven't been since my last visit and review. This is by far the worst center I've ever visited I have been a very loyal donor for years now. My appointment was at 10:45am and here it is almost 2pm. They sent an email for

Came prepared to my first appointment. Nowhere online it shows that you can't bring your child to the appointment and I asked in the chat on their website as well. I tried to call for days and no one picks up. Just completely wasted my time

I definitely was surprised by how warm, welcoming, friendly, and easy to laugh and smile with that the staff was! Jorge, the physician, was especially amazing and the time it took to get all my information down seemed to fly! I think from when I arrived (around 12:30) I waited about 30 to 45 min before being called in by Jorge to take my info and get my physical. It was around 3:00 when I got to go back and donate. My personal donation took about an hour and a half from needle going in to needle coming out.

The people who work here are very nice. I cant donate because of my diabetes but my wife does on a regular basis. I do have one complaint and it's why there is only 3 stars. Why bother making an appointment it's not honored and that bothers me more than a sore tooth. And, please no excuses there is only one slot per each appointment time so there should be a person or persons who only take care of appointments. If you solve this problem that would bump it up a couple stars. Well I find myself once aga

The person below obviously has no idea what they're talking about because this place is the bee?s knees. The staff is amazing, make you feel at home, and are NOT ugly at all (they're a couple hunks if you ask me). Jorge is the best and super friendly! Jermaine is also the best phlebotomist on the floor! Both have been a main reason for making me WANT to keep coming back!! Keep it up staff!!! If you're going to donate, DO IT HERE!!!!

Derek is the best he makes sure that iam ok and great with people and great customer service . always smiling , always gd to see him thanx derek

Spoke with someone last week about becoming a new donor, never explained to me you have to be a resident there to donate which makes no sense . Made an appointment not even know then when I get there 7Am Monday morning They tell me I have to be a resident there in order to donate . Why not put that on your site . Then waste peoples time who actually want to help donate their plasma to save lives. I was very upset.

Come to this center occasionally when I have time to spare! Absolutley love the staff; Jorge is my favorite! Very nice and funny and does a great job entertaining you or distracting you when he's giving out tetanus shots!! 10/10 would definitely recommend coming here! Very clean and efficient as well!

The star rating system is deceiving since the process of Plasma donating has several factors and this rating is only as of this last two-three week period due to massive procedure change at Biomat. My wife has already switched to Octapharma in North Fort Myers because of this change which doubled her time in the center. Today my not really appointment was 10:00am. I walked out of their doors at 1:51pm and was on the machine for about an hour. With check-in waiting to make sure I meet the now 5 minute window

The staff are great people. The building has always been clean and tidy. It's been almost a year and a half since I've donated but still see farmilar faces here. only downside is they are usually short staffed but I hardly ever see anyone just standing around with nothing to do.

Ive donated plasma in multiple states, and this place has to be the worst run of them all. The wait times are horrendous. Almost an hour and a half just to get vitals/protein levels, then another hour waiting in the waiting room, then another hour waiting just to get stuck on the donor floor. Not the employees fault but it's ridiculous to have to wait that long for minimal payout. Don't make as many appointments to account for y?all being understaffed. Take care of your staff!

I had the BEST experience at Biotest today. I have never donated plasma before, only blood, so this was my first time. The staff was very patient with me, explained everything I needed to know multiple times, they were very clean (I am a germaphobe) and very timely as I had not even made an appointment. A few of the people who stood out to me were Summer, Sarah, Maria, Valeria and Jorge. They were all so very kind, knowledgable, and clearly love their job and what they do. Jorge, the leading physician, stoo

Umme Janneth and Lily are knowledgeable, they really know their stuff and great hands you don't even feel that needle!!!! :)

I returned to become a donor again to give this place another try. My 1st few times back was great. But once again they have managed to screw it up. I make appointments and then still sit to be called! Today 9/11 I went back to the desk to ask why I hadn't been called for my appointment after 7 other people were called ahead of me. The reason I got was that they don't want other people to sit too long! Are you kidding me? Then why even make an appointment? So I sat back down and they still called three oth

You never, ever, ever, ever, ever answer your phone. Why have a phone if you aren't going to use it? This is very frustrating. Please don't respond to my review by saying call us and let us help you. You won't answer.

Most of the staff are nice I got stuck with the elder Latino lady that just jumps around and don't listen to you. I was skipped when waiting to get hooked up and when it was time to unhook she didn't have time so I waited it was eleven minutes in when I finally removed the needle because my arm has been hurting since she stuck me..now told can't come back because of sorry staff. Now people know why I don't help.im not going threw bad times to help people I'm done.

Even as a returning donor, having an appointment doesn't mean anything. I had an appointment for 8, an hour later, and I'm still waiting just to be seen. While walk in's are getting served faster. Very Disappointing. What's the point?? Then to call my name just to wait another hour waiting for a phlebotomist. Get ready to wait 2 hours just for the sake of waiting, even for returning donors.

Appointments don't work. Low staff. If you come please be patient. Because it's going to take along time. Had an 830 appointment and didn't get vitals checked until 9a with appointment. Currently estimated 45min before I even get hooked up. Please be patient with staff but doesn't matter if you have Appointments or not you will still have to wait 2+hours for a return donor donations

I understand they deal with several people a day but they should treat each person that walks through the door, with respect. A few of the staff members are extremely rude and really need to try & just be kind. I have been a donor for another company in another state and have always had a great experience with them. My 1st time donating here, I walked away with 2 giant bruises (one on each arm). Upon my 2nd visit, they treated me like it was my fault. I was told "since I have small veins" and "I need to

Jalyssa. is an amazing worker. I lover her personality and work ethic. umme is also fantastic.

For someone I know goes there ) They want us to call and make an appointment but yet no one wants to answer the phones something has to be done it's ridiculous really trying to help people and can't even go down there without an appointment so sad

The staff is very pleasant! Umme especially was a great help in making me feel comfortable.

I don't know whats going on. But waiting 3 or 4 hours to donate is just ridiculous. I've been donating for a year and never once complained..but now, I don't think I wanna continue. Its already a drive coming from lehigh then on top of the waiting. I waited an hour to be seen..last time..then another hour waiting to be stucked while on the donor floor. The staff is great for the most part. But waiting like that is ridiculous I feel. Not worth it.

The fact that the address of anyone must be a residence and not just for mail purpose has every one who donate here pass off. Then you must make appointments to even get into donation center. Then if you don't pass anything they provide you your out of any gas money and time for wait for them to waste your time. It to far and they don't keep the same donation amount each month for returning donaors not new donor get the $700 that they would get the first month . Rude staff and even no helpful when they i

People are nice place is clean . Always busy on any day don't go by there live feed on being busy or not. Never have I been there less then 3 hours. Today it's going on 5 hours and still haven't made my donation. Seems they worry more about checking you in then getting your donation so you can leave .bunch of staff in front standing around talking instead making things move a long.

I love donating at Grifols Biomat. The staff is always nice. Ummi is awesome she goes above and beyond.

This place was nice! It was quite busy but all the employees were so efficient and made everyone feel comfortable! It was my first time donating plasma and the doctor came to check on me twice, and when I got up to leave I left my book behind and they made sure to bring it to me before I left. Super thankful for that and will definitely be back ??

I love this place! When I first walked through the door I was taken aback by the smiling faces. I've never experienced such fun and upbeat energies in a lab. The techs & the doners share a relationship that reminds me of family. The cleanliness is refreshing. I watch them clean so thoroughly after each donor. A big thanks to Slae, Fran, Crystal, Carley, Jorge, Bob & Jermaine and the entire Biotest crew for what you do. All have made me feel so welcomed and at ease. I encourage all to donate to such a gre

Jalyssa is an amazing worker, I love her enthusiasm and kindness. She need a raise!!

Jermaine and the staff are amazing. Always knows your name..well mine lol. And very good at their skills. They are informative and educate you about the process and show their personalities where it feels like a safe and comfortable environment.

The pos: extra cash, great new building, the staff seems to have good relationships with the people that frequent the place. Con: such a huge waist of your time, as others have said there is no rush to get you in and out, they have appointment yet on a number of visits I have waited over 45 min past my appointment before giving up and going about the rest of the day.

The staff is great. Katherine, Derek and Umme are great. They make the donation process very enjoyable.

I returned as a new donor after not donating for a long time. Whole process was quicker than it used to be. Jorge The physician that gave me a physical was very quick professional and most helpful. Dr. Bob, Miss Dion, and Shawna are still there. Crystal was very helpful and answered all my questions about new procedure s. They really make you feel at home thank you very much to the whole biotest family :-)!!?

My experience was amazing! The staff is very friendly and my physician Jorge was great respectful kind and patient with all my questions. He thoroughly explained everything and made my experience very simple and easy!

They DONT answer there phone ever! They have reception desk workers, but no one answers. The only reason they get a two star is cuz of the select few employees that make that place actually run correct

Needs better communication one wk I'm getting $70 the first donation for the wk then next wk they give me $50 and they never answer the phones it's not even 4pm on a Monday and I've called 4x to no answer whatsoever. And my last visit I had to wait the next day just to get my funds because I went in around 4 and by the time I left they was closed and nobody answered the phones of course and I was unable to get the funds until the next day

Worst experience of my life. I waited over 4 hours and never got a physical to even donate. Took them 2 hours just to get my information. The place closed, the people cleaned up, and stood around talking instead of helping the people in the waiting area (me, I was the last person.) I finally walked out, not worth the time or money. The people are rude and uncaring, literally falling asleep as they're taking my patient history. Do not waste your time here.

Just a horrible experience. Waited 3 hrs as a new donor and didn't even get a physical so I left. So understaffed.wouldn't waste your time. I was doing it to help someone not for the money. Called manager to express my feelings there just like ok.

As usual Germaine did an outstanding job! his helper (Abby i i believe thats her name) did a great job unhooking me from donating... shes newer but also did a fantastic job! I LOVE donating here

The staff is great. Umme, Katherin, Julissa, Janet, Derek, Vicky and the rest of the team.

Biotest Plasma Center is a health hazard. I pulled open the bathroom door with my shirt and looked down to see some random persons blood all over the handle and my shirt. When I went to ask for something to clean it up with they told me to wash it off in the sink with soap, I had to repeatedly bother them to even get paper towels. The lead physician Bob came into the bathroom to clean the door handle and pointed out a bunch of black mold growing on the wall above the door and made a comment along the lines

My first time donating plasma. Do plan to wait quite a bit, it took me 4 hours start to finish (only 45 minutes to donate). Before donation you go through a screening and a physical. Y the phlebotomists are all very kind and go out of their way. It is cold in the building. The doctor gave me his jacket and another gave me 2 (very thin) blankets. The person who had the most experience was pulled aside to stick me (tiny veins). They do have free WiFi and everyone was very friendly start to finish. I do very p

If I could rate this place as a zero I would. These people are incredibly rude. My first phone call ever to the lady told me she was going to get the doctor scheduling chart it will just take a moment. 19 mins later another person answered the phone asking how may I help you. When I told her what I was waiting on she said I had a attitude and hung up on me. That was a 25min waste of my life. I had to call back and told her what happened and she said "well that was the other girl I will do what is supposed t

The staff at biotest were all super friendly and helpful throughout my donation process. I was particularly impressed with the physician Jorge who performed my physical. He answered all of my questions and came to check on me multiple times during my donation!

I've decided to rewrite my review as for the past few times I've been there its been a horrible experience. Today in particular. I made an appointment for 730, got in and got screened and was told I had to do an annual physical. I sat in the lobby for 45 min before I decided to leave, do to the frustration of watching all these people walk in get screened and pass right through to be stuck. Not one person came to my attention in the lobby for my physical. Now if I come back ill have to do it all over again.

The people are *generally* pretty nice, but they are terribly slow. If you have a 9:30 appointment I recommend getting there around 9:10. It's a great program though and worth waiting for... If you have the time.

The experience was amazing I seen so many smiling faces working together to achieve a similar goal, help others! The doctor or physician Jorge was a cool and upstanding man who helped me feel like nothing could ever be wrong in the world

Jalyssa is great phleb she deserves a raise I prefer her every appointment I go to

They keep lowering the pay for plasma head to octapharma they pay more anyway. 40 for first donation and 95 for the second in a week is almost not worth it for me and next week it's supposed to even lower. The staff are always really nice, it's the corporate people that set the price I have a problem with.

For an extra $100 mention my name "Michael Porter" and we both get an extra hundred after your 4th donation. You will usually take more time here than expected but it's still a good experience the whole time and a good payout!

Had a easy going experience while donating. The entire staff was very pleasant and seemed liked they liked being there. Dr. Jorge was very kind, and has great patient follow up.

Jalyssa and umme is a nice and caring people she make sure all her people are good I think they need a raise

I have a appointment on Saturday Aug 7.Hopefully it will be a better experience than it was Sunday July 25.Neither Ashley or Phillip saw a reason to take the needle out of my arm even though my donation had been done for nearly fifteen minutes. It would have been nice if Sara would have had a little more concern.

They turned me away from donating because I had a tank top on. I can understand if the top was super inappropriate but it wasn't, it was just a simple tank top that did not reveal too much arm or stomach. The only reason I wore the tank top was because I thought my arms would need to be exposed in order to donate plasma, but they told me that I needed to go back in the car and put on a sweater if I had one because I was violating dress code. I wasn't aware there was a dress code because it's not posted anyw

This place is slow as hell. Even if you have an appointment for like 12:00 you won't get seen till 3hrs past your appointment time. If your a walk in you sit for practically all day. The staff seem to not care. They all move slowly. I come all the way from Naples FL and it's almost not worth driving up here because the pay scale is pathetic

Good place to make some extra cash. The only downside is that it had a slightly unpleasant smell. Nice staff! Update: The same week I posted this, they put up air fresheners, making it smell much better. Plus 1 star!

Jalyssa Is so wonderful she is so sweet she need a a raise he goes out and beyond for her job

Had a great time this afternoon at Biotest the staff is always so friendly and their service quick and precise. I was first in line for screening after the kiosk and had a nice conversation with Cheize during my screening process, then took part of the ongoing raffle with Kerry and took a guess on how many pistachios were in the jar. Before I could sit down I was called back to begin my donation. Where I was met by Jasmine who provided me with a great professional attitude and quick service to begin my dona

This place needs to be shut down or fire the whole staff. They are stealing and wasting people?s time. The staff are rude and nonprofessional. There's a problem everytime I tried to come and donate!! Their staff also be smelling like they have alcohol in their systems too.

They are understaffed but handle the donors very well. You have to be patient but considering that your plasma can help save the lives of children. Please donate! The rewards are not only financial but also makes you feel good about helping others to live.

Jorge is the kindest and down to earth person just like the other staff. They were all nice and friendly even when it's busy like all the time. 100% recommend to go????

Bathrooms are nasty, always out of toilet papers. Donating process takes way longer than it should because of how disorganized they are. Employees enjoy having conversation on the floor which causes them to work slower. Every time I come here it takes about 3 hours. Someone needs to get this place in check.

Awesome, very friendly staff. Be prepared to wait though. If you do your due diligence and research what it takes to donate you won't be surprised on your first visit. Other than that great place and monthly promotions so you can earn even more.

The wait times are terrible, even when there's just 4 people to be screened. There's no way, it took an hour to get on the donor floor with 3 people in front of me, and to make matters worse, I get skipped while on the floor.

This Center in Fort Myers Fl Have great perfessional Employees / Nurse / Doctors . They are Very Detail oriented and Pay close attention to There Guest who comes in for Donations. They always on Alert with each other to make sure everybody is being taken care of and feel comfortable. I will like Thank Jorege , Gretter , Tori .P , Jessica ,Caina . They Always make me feel Great like if im at home. I give them 2 ???? up And A round of applause ??. With The Crown ?? of Joy & Happiness . May peace & blessings

I have called several times over the past week, no one answers the phone, no one calls back despite countless voicemails, this location is an hours drive from me, been wanting to come in to donate but based on all the terrible reviews i was advised to call & make sure they are actually opened before driving all the way there but I cant even get a hold of anyone, would not recommend this location to anyone.

I went to Biotest after trying a place in Sarasota. It was a nightmare! I told Kayna about my experience she and Shawna went above and beyond along with the rest of the staff to make sure my experience was the best it could be! And it was, I've been to Biotest in Dickson City, Pennsylvania and loved it there also. Thanks Biotest!!

My experience with the manager Dionne and the physician substitute Jorge at biotest was beyond excellent. They explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable with the experience. They were great

Last time I was there about a year ago, they blew up both of my veins with bad sticks and tried everything they could to put the blame on me instead of their poorly trained staff? today I was going to consider trying my luck again before leaving a permanent review, but they can't even answer the phone. Terrible spot, would not recommend unless you like your veins blown up.

Such a great group of workers right now! Very efficient and personable! Derek and Umme are the best!!!! ????????

I recently visited the Ft Myers location and have to admit it was rewarding experience. Jorge and Jermaine were so personable and knowledgeable. I enjoyed myself helping others, made some money and

There is a great and super nice staff, always super helpful I would highly recommend Aaliyah, Derek, Katherine, and Kaiden!

This place lies and treat you like an animal. Said I was approved then an hour later after I sent my ride away decided to have an old toothless heavy lady to unapprove me. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They do not care about your privacy either

I have been coming here for a year. No complaints. Umme is my favorite phlebotomist!

They try to push everyone to make appointments but literally don't make a difference I sit here a hour every time I make a appointment watching everyone steady called before me when I took Time to go online and sign up for it. Most likely not coming back

Wanted to give an heads up. Website showing 404 error still. & I had an question about the first 4 donations. Is the pay out $100 the first 4 times currently?

Everyone here's amazing. They are all super friendly and make whole process fast and easy. Jorge is the best. He is my favorite part of coming here.

Chloe did an outstanding job with the initial needle stick and throughout my entire donating experience. Also, Slaedine helped re-wrap my left arm. Until 1 month ago, i received great kind service from V who is my FAVORITE phlebotomist. However, if we both decided to date, i would agree to donate at another center to follow corporate policy.

Love the cleanliness, the staff is exceptionally respectful and professional. I've been to a couple of donation centers and by far one of the best.

Great place to donate! Wonderful staff, Jorge did my initial physical and he was professional and very personable. Each staff member I encountered was friendly and answered all my questions with a smile!

Jalyssa was very helpful nice and a joy of fun she deserves a raise keep saving lives

Everyone here is great I've been going here for years. All are very professional and polite....

I have been a loyal HBS donor since 2012 and all the negative reviews for the most part are true. The staff is friendly but since evidently Biotest cannot even retain their employees, let alone their donors, their whole operation is slow as molasses due to the CONSTANT employee turnover. I have put up with a twice weekly donation process of 2.5 to 3 hrs per visit for 5 long years. Biotest makes the hepatitis vaccine out of my plasma; thus I make double what a simple donor gets. so I have stayed for the mon

Aaliyah and Katherine and jalyssa are very good people and their kind and very helpful very quick on getting me in and out

Biotest is great. Jorge is especially awesome always smiling and making sure ur smiling also. He won't ever let u leave in a bad mood or without candy.

Carley did an excellent job! She had 3 patients that finished donating at the same time and helped each 1 of us with the same level of customer service and professionalism

First of all most of the staff is amazing. Other than that i donated for almost a year and a half now all of a sudden all these new people come in and not one person can poke me with out leaving a bruise or making me leak blood all over. This place is a joke all around.

Biotest really is the greatest! The environment and the staff are so friendly and helpful. JORGE is absolutely AMAZING!!! I just adore him. Biotest is professional and does everything they claim.

That place is the Bomb. Especially Erica's fine @$$. Lmao...no, but seriously everyone there is very nice and helpful. It's an awesome way to gain extra income while helping save lives at the same time. Ol' Mrs. G. May be gone but not forgotten. Also, sending out a hollar to Mrs. Dion, Trish, Kat, A.J., Mike, Maria, Bob, T.K., Tawanna, and Jordan and of course Amy.!!!!! (Attention, Attention)****************** This review deserves a nice bonus Mrs. Dion!!!!!

I made an appointment and arrived a WHOLE HOUR EARLIER and they still proceeded to assist everyone else that came in after me, NO ONE ASSISTED ME UNTIL I SAID SOMETHING. AND STILL DID NOT GET SEEN FOR A WHOLE HOUR AFTER MY INITIAL APPOINTMENT WAS MADE, 2 HOURS AFTER I ARRIVED. DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY OVERBOOK IF THEY'RE UNDERSTAFFED.

I've been coming here for awhile off and on but every time I come the place is Always clean and staff very pleasant love the physician Jorge he is very nice respectable man who genuinely cares for his patients wish he was in internal medicine so he could be my family doctor ;) very happy with the service here

The slowest place to come and donate. You are better off going to Octopharma. More money and much quicker service. This place is just a slow boat to china for 50$

The entire staff here is wonderful - from the front desk, to phlebotomists, to everyone in between. If you get lucky enough to be stuck with charae (or should I say stuck by? Lol) then you're in excellent hands.

I'm a frequent donor. I'm not sure if it's biotest as a company or this particular center, but it is horribly managed/staffed. If there were ANY other plasma donation option in southwest Florida, sign me up. I donated at a Biolife plasma center before moving and I would spend about an hour and a half there, in and out the door. Biotest almost always takes at least twice as long. I'm in the middle of a donation now, having sat here for over two hours, still waiting to actually get stuck and start donating. T

Awesome staff and always pleasant! Almost any staff either have immediate answer for questions or they find out right away from leadership. They also save lives everyday and help find vaccines with donors helping out with there part!

Very disappointed in the staff recently, there are so many new people who frankly have no idea whats going on. A few days ago a new girl messed up on drawing my blood 3 times. The readings came out wonky and i couldnt donate. That left me a little upset but what ever, mistakes happen. Then today i was turned down because my temperature was .4 over. I explained that the A/C was out in my car, and that im sure if i sat to cool off id return to a normal temp. Well they told me i still couldn't donate. So i gue

Been donating for years and Derek is wonderful. I would recommend you ask for him when you come in.

Mrs.Jasmine gets an 100/100 she's a very outgoing young women she made me feel comfortable and welcomed as if i'm at home this was my first time donating and looking fwd to returning and I'll be looking for mrs.jasmine she the best !!!

Terrible corporation if I was you I would not go here stay far away they have no respect for their donors let me add the one in fort Meyers I haven't need to I am talking about the new one in Sarasota but if one is like that then I am sure they all are Ps why fix something that wasn't broke the appointment stuff doesn't work I work a full time job and a weekend job I got up early every Friday and Sunday to be the first one in so I could donate because I have a nephew that plasma saves his life I have dona

Jorge, is the most relaxed, highly intelligent medical professional I have come across in many years. Ask for Jorge, to do your physical examination and relax knowing your in good hands..

Most of the staff is rude, as a return donor i have waited over 5 hours because staff just screws around rhe whole time, on a good day you would be lucky if you spent less than 3 hours there. Last time i went the whole place smelled of dead fish, most likly the smell of the plasma, all in all biotest is hand down the worst plasma center ive ever been too. So unprofessional for a plasma center

I have been going to biotest for about 4 years now, I have had some great phlebotomists, but there is one that knows what hes doing he was the best stick I have ever received, the phlebotomist name is Jermaine. He is amazing

I had a really pleasant physician named Jorge who I believed to be very kind , caring & thoughtful of others I would definitely make another trip to biotest in fort Myers - Brittany R

UMME IS AMAZING, SHE KNOWS EXACTLY WHATS SHE IS DOING. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTIOUS.SHES MY FAVORITE.

There super slow, most of the employees mess around to much. I wouldn't recommend it for anybody, the money is the only decent part but there is another place in florida that pays you 20 dollars more than fort myers.

All the staff here are great. They have a lot of patience and are efficient with everyone. The facility is clean. I appreciate that they screen and hold everyone to a standard of health to keep everyone safe.

My experience at biotest was awesome! Jorge was very kind and respectful! Jorge made me feel comfortable , and explained to me the procedures before donating! 5 stars!????????????????????????????????

Jasmine is everything! She brightens up the floor. Every time I see her she is happy and smiling. I'm glad she is a part of the team.

I love this place!! I've been donating since oct of 2019 and I look forward to coming every time.. the staff is friendly and fantastic!! I've even made a few friends..I've definitely made donating apart of my life now..thanx biomat for being so awesome!

I've been going here since it was called bio test and I understand if you make an appt you still wait but at the end of the day you get paid well they are attentive to you and make you feel comfortable

Jorge is the best person there. I swear if you're having a rough day he is the person that can cheer you up. Awesome guy.

The website states to allow 2-3 hours your first time. You should all 5-6 hours in case they're busy. No matter how busy, the staff are always pleasant and take time to answer questions. I never feel pushed or rushed. Most seem to really love their job.

Crystal Peterson is a wonderful employee. She makes me feel welcome every time I come. And she makes sure I am okay.

I have been a donor for several months all the staff is amazing Chrystal is so down to earth warm and welcoming at the front desk Jorge is the best Phys Sub makes you feel secure, Jermain and all the phlebotomist on donor floor are amazing the team keeps the boat ?? rowing smoothly

Umme and Janeth are very good phlebotomist. They are always working very hard.

Jorge is such a pleasure to work with and made a typically stressful situation a breeze. Friendly, social and in-depth with explanations of concerns. He is a valuable member of the Biotest team.

My experience has always been great. People are polite and physician Jorge was thorough and polite, quick, and knowledgeable

Got here after riding my bike in the pouring rain before they closed and they only take new donors by appointment

I have been coming to Biotest for several months and never have I seen such slowness. I'm not sure if it's understaffed or what, they're arnt that many people here right now but I have been here for 2 hours, I've been sitting in this chair for almost an hour and am still not hooked up to donate.

My first experience at Biotest was amazing. Jorge was very professional nice and everyone made me feel comfortable.

I was so nervous coming to donate plasma and after getting my physical done by Jorge and him explaining how it work and that if I didn't want to I didn't have to made me feel comfortable and at ease sooo I made 60 bucks today!!!!

Great experience very verbal there and on time about everything people there are nice and funny and the person who did my physical (Jorge) was very helpful he did everything professionally and handled himself very well i would recommend him 10/10

I've donated here multiple times, but when I try to call, they don't answer the phone now, which hasn't been like them at all. No answer at all. I've called and called, and still no one answers.

Donating blood is something we all can and should do. Earning cash for our donation is great. Thank you Biotest for the service you provide. Btw, all the employees I came in contact with were courteous and professional, especially Shawna.

Jorge was very professional and friendly. He got me though the process smoothly and gave me food since I skipped lunch.

I was extremely impressed on the way biotest operated in the donation of my plasma. Especially want to reach out and give Jorge a special thanks on his professionalism of his job.

Fast and clean. Nice people

I've been donating plasma since 2014 and I have never been to a donation center that is slower than this one There are about twenty beds open and 9 people waiting. I was here for 3 hours on Friday afternoon. I haven't even been weighed yet today and I've been here for an hour

First visit took a bit of time. Staff is so super friendly. Very clean environment. I'll be back soon for another donation ??

Chrystal and cainna and Francesca are awesome people made the experience here wonderful I enjoyed the cmservice and they made if very enjoyable I feel like family when I come here they put us donors first and it's amazing what kind of people they are simply amazing

My experience at Biotest was great the staff is really nice.... Jorge is very professional he makes everyone feel very comfortable GREAT JOB STAFF AT BIOTEST

Jorge was the best part about this experience,e very friendly and funny. Also informative and knowledgeable. Would ask for him by name!

really nice ppl..Jorge Shanelle, and Caleb are awesome. Always make me really comfortable and just all around good ppl. Rate a 10 if I could

They need more staff and the young girls who work there are ALWAYS talking and not wanting to work. The staff is incredibly rude, and slow. Expect to be here at least 4-5 hours

When I first got there I was nervous but with the friendly staff like Jorge (physician sub) and Aly they made it an easy experience.

Love the people here very friendly family feel here!! Couldn't be a better place to go and make a difference at! Kudos to the whole crew for doing an amazing job!!!

The money is nice and I love helping by donating plasma. The process though takes a lot longer than is necessary. It usually takes me over an hour to get my vitals taken.

I am currently donating plasma today! Jorge was amazing he made sure to explain every step and also made sure it was comprehended correctly! Great experience!!!

I've been trying to become a new donor for three days and no one picks up the phone so I can schedule an appointment. Very dissatisfied!!!!

Jorge Jasmine Jermaine Keenan Melissa and Nolan for bringing me just the whole staff y'all are amazingly awesome thank y'all so much definitely will be back!!!??????????

DO NOT connect to their wifi. Their splash page will ask for your phone number, to splurge your phone number. After that you will receive endless robocalls calls. You've been warned.

Very streamlined and especially great service would highly recommend and will go again. Jorge is especially witty and comforting

They are so short staffed that it takes 4 hours or more. Hard to give up that kind of time when you have other things to do in your day. I will be going back to OneBlood in Cape Coral.

Very kind people, Jorge was very informative and polite so was Kayla :) I will keep coming here without a doubt !!!

Being coming to donate and the staff is great umme and the crew ??

This is an awesome place to donate, people are nice and the technicians are nicer. Everybody did an awesome job and they make me feel like family. Thank you

Phone service here is absolutely horrible. I have called 10 times and nobody ever answers.

Dr. Jorge was very professional, really helpful, and made the process so smooth. Thank you for all your help and making sure I knew what I was signing up for!

What a wonderful donation experience with pleasant and wonderful staff. Always smiling , always making people happy. I honestly look forward to each visit.

Everyone here is super nice and made me feel so comfortable. Jorge was awesome!!
