I've been a long time donor with CSL and I think I just had it. Phlebotomists treat you like a piece of meat while they talk to each other. No respect. Won't listen either. Blood wasn't flowing and lady just pushed the needle deeper. Told her it was hurting, told her that I did not wanted to be experimented with and she just motioned me to be quiet. Blood started dripping out. Now she wanted to switch to the other arm. Mind you, I've done this before, but it is the coldness and non-caring attitude that got
I come to this location often and they have a very friendly staff. They have a tight routine so you're in and out. Most of them are very good with needles. But the best one is a girl named Danii. You won't feel a thing. She must have been doing this for years. Great place!! Great staff!! Clean and safe atmosphere. Efficient and smooth.
There are 2 nurses in particular at this location that provide the most exceptional service. John and Irith. It was my first time donating they welcomed me so warmly, explained everything and made me feel so comfortable in a place where comfort tends to be rare. Truly help agents and thus business is so lucky to have them. They deserve a raise!!
Ms Elia has a gentle hand that surprised even a veteran donor like myself. Though the pinch sting from the needle isn't something I feel anymore. I'm used to a firm jab and the coldness of the material on the needle. A problem that her hand was able to avoid. No cold needle.
I've been donating at this location for almost ten years. The place is always clean with friendly, helpful staff. The new machines make the donation process much faster. I highly recommend this place.
This was my first time donating plasma, this was at the Margate location. The staff was friendly and professional. My most favorite was John! He is the RN that helped me, very thorough and professional and came to check on me while on the machine 4 times to make sure that I was comfortable and was doing well. I can't wait to return, the process was seamless.
I went to this CSL for years and I had a great experience each and every time I went! I even managed to build great relationships with the staff members! One staff member in particular named Matt made my experiences great there! We developed a solid friendship and bonded over our love for cars! I looked forward to every donation!
Best plasma place I have ever been Danii is the best phlebotomist I have ever seen can't even feel the stick I love her and Stephanie on intake makes you feel at home and like you're part of the family I love this place
I had a great experience at CSL Plasma. The staff were professional, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process."The facility was clean, and the donation process was well-organized and efficient. I definitely recommend donating here if you're looking to make a difference.
I have the smallest vein ever, but Jen always gets my blood. Jen you are the best. Keep up the great work! ??
I want to take a moment to commend Portia, my dst, for her exceptional attentiveness at the end of my donation. She demonstrated an impressive sense of urgency and professionalism, which is something I deeply value as a customer. Portia remained focused and efficient throughout the process, ensuring everything was handled smoothly and promptly. What stood out most was her awareness and dedication to excellent customer service. Unlike others who may get caught up in conversations or distractions, Portia sta
DANII!! Omg, she's AMAZING. You won't feel a thing when she sticks the needle in your arm. I ONLY want her to poke me ? she's that good! ????
Bethsiane was amazing! She was very professional and made sure I felt comfortable as well as the rest of the staff.
Make an appt or go off peak hours as a recommendation. If you download the app, it will tell you when those peak hours are. Overall, it's a good experience. Waiting for your vitals is the longest part. Expect to take at least an hour for the entire process. Staff is polite and always wearing appropriate PPE. You may donate every 3 days and an easy $50 each visit.
Dannii is a courteous long time staff member who I prefer to inject the plasma needle since she does it perfectly with no pain. Thank you Danni for helping me save lives painlessly! Jaime 18 year client
Everyone her is very friendly and caring, they make the experience very enjoyable. Today I worked with victor, great guy!! Also quanetta was also very friendly and helpful at the end when it was time to wrap up.
Changing my review. I now see that sometimes we all have bad days. My experiences at this location have been mostly 5 star and I can't let one bad experience dictate one review. Thanks for today. I know to get in early now.
Danii has always been a great worker, should be promoted if there's open positions. She's professional and always courteous.!
I had a great experience at CSL Plasma, and a big part of that was thanks to MSA Bethsiane. She was so professional, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. She answered all my questions with patience and really went out of her way to make sure I had a positive visit.
Managers for this CSL should be reevaluated for their job tittle expectations. This location runs like the worst donation plasma center I've ever encountered. All phlebotomist, with the exception of Slaybie and Dequan?need to be retrained. Bathrooms haven't been cleaned in at least two weeks. I blame the managers for they are in charge of making sure this location is running smoothly.
Danii is the best!!! She is a wizard of phlebotomy and makes the donation process so smooth and easy. She takes great care of me every time I see her
Being a donor at CSL Plasma is a honor for me. When you donate your plasma you're saving lives. When I go to CSL Plasma I feel I'm at home. The staff is amazing, Patricia is a live example, she treat us all very well when we get there.
This location is truly inspiring. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, surrounded by amazing and welcoming employees. It fills me with joy to know I can contribute to helping others.
Everyone does a great job here, but Dani is the master at poking; quick smooth and painless. Great experience everytime
Danii is the best she's been sticking me every time , I don't feel I thing I don't want anyone else to stick me but her
Everyone I have encountered has been pretty nice. I check in and be out in no time. Clean and comfortable. They are great.
Always helpful friendly and quick professional staff in the front including Patricia and Stephanie and the floor including Dani just to name a few but there are many more.
My experience with CSL plasma was very professional and quick I was helped by bethsie and patrica they both were informative and professional.
Great place if you decide to Donate! It's Clean, Quick and friendly! Definitely makes for a great experience! Ask for Danii!
I have been donating plasma at this location for about 8 months now. By far one of the best ran plasma centers I've been too. Danii Sticks me most times and does a phenomenal job to where you barely feel the needle.
Danii was awesome!! I didn't feel a thing and was super sweet during the process. Best on the floor ??
Everything works smoothly. Everyone is careful with all the procedures today it's my fifth time and I will come back.
My nurse was Matt and he made the process smooth and was very professional. The other staff seemed very pleasant as well.
Disaster, beware!!!!!!! Vitals was a fond hello after transferring back from MN. The stick was a fishing expedition with 5 adjustment, before I patiently asked for a re-stick, after an hour wait for help for no-flow issues. Re-stick was an improvement, but the needle pierced a tendon, OMG. 1 hour later and in a decent amount of pain, I received $47. The center Supervisor "Dominique" was present and witnessed donated plasma sitting on unattended carts, while I waited to be dc'd. I have donated plasma for ove
I Haven't Been To CSL Plasma In A While But My First Time Was Smooth And Great. The Receptionist Tiffany Was Awesome And Very Professional
Super sweet staff, all of them made me feel at ease during my first time donating plasma and thoroughly explained everything to me. Definitely will be back.
Danii was a magician with the needle, I didn't feel a thing. Everybody there was amazing sweet
Patricia is always very helpful and I get along with all the other staff then go in there for 8 years and never really had a bad experience
Staff are friendly fast and efficient. Overall experience ????
It's employees like Patricia and Mari why I continue to come back to this location so nice to deal with these individuals thank you for making my donor experience a positive one
I knew this place was going to be a waste of time after reading the reviews, but I went anyway. My very first attempt, their network was down. I waited an hour before leaving. Go to Octapharma in North Lauderdale. The longest I ever waited there was literally 3 minutes.
I been donating at this location for years. Two days ago I went in and the girl screening didn't care to say hello or anything. I had to look over to see what my vitals were for the day. After I donated they had me laying there for 15 minutes. Four of them standing there without a care in the world. Just talking and hugging each other while I'm laying there. Management allows them to get away with this just because they developed personal relationships with these so called workers. Only gave it two stars be
Love this place it's clean the staff is great and fellas All the lady's that works there are beautiful
I was very well attended to and guided. Nurse Yrith explained the procedure in detail and made me feel comfortable and encouraged to be a frequent donor.
I have donated plasma for a while in Palm Beach. I moved to Broward and have tried different places for plasma donations. I think I've found a plasma home here at the margate location. Danii was my tech for today quick, courteous, responsible, attentive five star. Thank you for the experience and experiences that are yet to come ??.
Dani is great at getting the vein in a smooth quick motion the nerves don't have time to register any pain. She's got a golden hand
Danii is amazing! I love when she's working. She's so gentle! Very sweet girl
Dani was amazing didn't even feel her prick me with the needle and found vein fast
The process of donating Plasma was quick and accurate. the staff was friendly and able to help you get through the process smoothly.
Patricia Withers always gets me ready for my donation with swift and careful vital taking and great customer service she is literally goated
The staff here is outstanding! All of them but why did you install new machines to shorten the donation time? There are 4 bays never have I seen more than 2 being used. Today is no exception 2 bays but they're only using half the beds. Not sure if they are always short handed or maybe they need to just hire more staff. Either way the new machines do not make the wait any less it's alway at least 2 hours.
This center is always on point fast and professional staff also friendly staff most times.
Q and Jen were both awesome and helped out. Fast process nice people all around
Everything went so smoothly from beginning to end. The staff were so great. I almost considered trying to work there but I've been at my job so long they're like family so hard to leave. Anyway, great place to go and great thing to do.
Staff is very friendly, patient, and informative. Made my visit as easy as possible.
Danii has gentle hands. I didn't feel anything when she inserted the needle! This is exciting! ????????????????????
The employees are very nice always taking care of me specially the nurse Yrith aka E always smiling and willing to help. I will recommend this place!
Quanetta was amazing I love her energy and she always seems as she truly cares . We definitely need more like her at CSL
Great and helpful staff quick and easy donation definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants to make a little extra money and help save lives
Jen is the best! Love when she sticks me. Super fast donation. 10/10 would recommend! ??
Jen and Quanetta are my favorite employees and Roma are happy pleasure when they are at work
Danii is always very careful when setting me up for donation so I don't bruise.
John M.RN Was very professional and helpful grate at his you all are blessed to have someone like him on staff
I had great fast service done by Patricia. She's amazing ????
Great staff, easy and fast wait times love going to this location to donate!!
Bethsiame, from CSL plasma MSA, made my experience so easier, she made me feel at home and comfortable to be here
Ms. Dani is shockingly amazing. Fast, precise, and cheerful personality.
Excellent experience. The attendant Bethsiano is very friendly and attentive.
Love this company, but have to avoid this location. Phlebotomists who make multiple mistakes/injuries a day, and are well known by the staff to do so, should not be continued to be allowed to work on patients. Safety is not of concern and I have to go to a further location because of this. Shouldn't be afraid of getting a hematoma at a donation center.
It was a smooth process, Quanetta aka ? Q? Had great vibes and positive energy. Very respectful.
Modern, clean facility and a well organized, professional and friendly staff make the process easy for those with a busy schedule.
One start is too much for this people I waited 3 hours and some of them are nice but very disorganized place, the Nurse is the worse he discriminated me because Im spanic he told me to find a place where you can speak Spanish . The security guard think he has the power humiliated the donator he has short temper and rude ?. O??start for this place stay away from this place. Places like this shouldn't be operate with Nurses and Security guard like those ..
First time donating. I set up an account online, watched all the videos, signed all the docs. Came in and was not greeted in anyway. When someone did acknowledge me, I said I have an appointment and was told they don't do appointments. I asked why it had me do so online and all I got was a shrug. Another lady came up to help as it was obvious the girl behind the desk didn't have any customer skills. There was a long line, I asked how long it would take. The girl behind the counter answered a phone call, tha
Dani is an expert at the plasma donation stick! Always pleasant and friendly. You never even feel the needle ??????????
Good morning, I went to donate plasma and the nurse, Yrith, called her "E", the truth is, very polite and cooperative, an excellent employee, I wish her the best.
Danii is by far the best phlebotomist you guys got.
My experience was that the staff was nice, professional, thorough, & clean. No pain, not nauseous or sick at all after. Just follow the instructions, eat, & hydrate. ***My only suggestions are that the bathrooms need attention. However, people could be better about making a mess as well. ***
Love this donation center, they work with you as much as possible to help you be eligible to donate. Awesome staff and donating experience :)
My phlebotomist Victor and DC ?Q? were awesome. Great service.
Love the staff and center. Especially Danni one of my favorite.
I'm on the fence about my comments related to my rating because my first handful of donations here couldn't have been more accommodating. The first time I was there and I had a bad reaction during donating, I was given ice packs and was even fanned off by staff wanting to be sure I was alright. The next 3 or 4 times after that went off without a hitch. The last time I was there was a nightmare until the end; stuck me and from the beginning I was having issues with flow. They had to readjust the needle so ma
Danii is one of the best, thank you for your service.
Danii has a good hand! She is the best!!
Everyone there is nice especially Danil is one of the best staff there. She is very friendly & fast. Knows how to stick you without causing pain.
Patricia was amazing she is fantastic and a great host
Danii is the GOAT! Patricia Withers is amazing as well!
Always make you feel welcome. Especially when you go away and come back.
The the Staff here is very friendly. Q and victor are amazing.
Danni was smooth and made it a easy donation and the whole staff is wonderful
Horrible service and Time wasted! They take you through all kind of channels before letting you know that you have to take multiple physicals, them reviewing notes, and all kinda other non-sense for your own plasma! This location and of course all the others are all the same. They don't pay you half of what's really worth for your plasma, which can be $1000 or better, but we'll never get our hands on those receipts! Staff members are unprofessional and treats you like you are an inmate in jail! Their machi
This is a place with very kind and prepared people. My congratulations to the lady who helped me named Judy, very attentive and she has magical hands because I really didn't feel it when she punctured my vein.
Went to this location to donate plasma for the first time. Unfortunately they are short staffed (as is everywhere else) so I was there for a total of 5 hours for my first visit. Although it did take a while to finally get to donate, I cannot say one bad thing about the staff or customer service. The staff was extremely apologetic about the wait and also very kind and professional. Every staff member I talked to was extremely informative and made sure I knew each step of the process. During my donation, I di
DO NOT donate here at all costs!! After you donate, this company steals the money back soon after they put it into your CSL account/app. They commit illegal activity and belong in prison. How can you do this to people selling their bodies to pay their rent? My family members and I feel violated. You guys are absolutely disgusting. They said they can do this because it's ?rewards,? and they don't tell you at the 1st visit they can steal your money. The person on the phone said ?sorry we inconvenienced you? i
Lines can be long at times especially the after work rush. Do what you can to avoid peak times and have your phone charged before coming. If your sensitive to the cold I suggest bringing a jacket. I've been donating plasma at several different plasma companies for 8 years now. They may not be the fastest due to long queue lines, but I've never had an issue with payment and the holiday themed bonuses from time to time are always nice. They've improved the staff and quality of work here significantly compared
Fast and painless danii she's very good
my go to place and they pay fairly for your donation
Danil always does a great job! Thanks
Jen did great Sticking my arm!
**UPDATE... I actually see a huge improvement. I apologize for my last review. They have made a serious comeback maybe because of the shift in staff but everyone there has much better attitudes. The place is spotless. And very much a professional looking and feeling atmosphere. I feel you guys if you felt some type of way about my review. But I'd much rather be honest...Kudos to you CSL. I appreciate you guys seriously. Good job! Keep up the great work!!
I had a wonderful time there and Porsche took care of me
this facility is slow as fuqq. i?ve never taken 3 hours (from the time u scan in and until i left ) at any other plasma donation places. i think i may need to go back to octa. even when they are busy it never takes that long. they do more talking and playing than working.
After hours of going through all the protocols, the doctor was stupid when he said that my English wasn't good enough to be a donor, as I went through all the other steps and just didn't understand a single question he asked. I'm very angry, because English is my second language and obviously I explained to him that I understood everything he said and could answer his question, but he said I wasn't capable 8:25pm A kind person called me, following my review post, to talk about my evaluation or through my c
Super friendly staff. The lines are OK but the staff is good about taking care of us in a timely manner. Seems pretty clean as I been going here for about 2 months now. Its just a quick way to get cash and everyone is nice. Only thing is that they don't change gloves after every poke. I bleed out from a needle and I just asked the guy to change his gloves before poking the guy next to me, he said he was planning on to and did. I would recommend going to a different place so you dint make this one crowded fo
Danii?s stick was pain free! Awesome job!!!
I love the fact everyone is great here
Some reviews here are very stupid. In order to sign up you must agree to having blood returned. It's never going to be as fast as you would like because profits over staffing. Do what you can to control by going at slower times and being fully hydrated. I find the staff to be a normal set of entry level folks who seem to take some pride in their job, they don't want any incidents either. Basically the feeling very close to donating blood the only major difference being the saline injection at the end to hel
A review after a year. After being referred to CSL, the initial location ended up dropping the ball after several donations. I ended up escalating the situation due to the nature of the customer service rendered or less thereof! The manager met with me personally and assured me that the negligence was unacceptable and is not a part of the way the organization is to be run. I was comforted by the talk but decided to switch to the Margate location. Upon switching I spoke to the manager about my experience
The level of incompetence here is staggering. The facility survives off the necessity of people struggling. This often leads to very poor behavior of the part of its employees. They are understaffed and their is a culture of bad customer service. There are a few who try to do good, but from experience these people rarely last long. I've had all three of my worst customer service experiences, of all the companies I've ever visited, here at this facility. If you can afford not to, then don't use this facility
This place is getting worse every week? always short staffed? theres one supervisor that doesnt help at all on the floor? she is very rude!!! Time average now is more than 2 hours? They really need some real management.
Ramona is a wonderful lady. Very caring to her patients. One awesome worker who sacrificed her meal in order to attend to my needs. I would give her a promotion and a raise. Very professional and great at completing her task at hand I recommend.
Customer service needs to improve at this location. Ive been here plenty of times , it seems like they are short staff It took 45 mins just to get seated in vitals before donate. If they bruised you when sticking you they will not let you donate again until bruise isnt visible. AGAIN they are sticking customer but bruising them.. 4/11/22 todays visit took 2 hours mind you i did my questions thru the app before walking in the building.
I've been donating plasma since October 2021 at the Margate location and finally got to the Platinum donor level a couple of months ago, so I don't stand in the ridiculously long lines anymore. I never had any issues with the donation process itself, until yesterday. The girl who came over to stick me with the needle doesn't bother with pleasantries like 'Hello', and really does not speak to me at all. Apparently, she stuck the needle against the wall of my vein, because I was unable to receive red blood
They normally can get you to donate within 30 minutes including the survey, vitals and the donor line but today it's taken over an hour and I still have not even made it to the bay. They are overworked and underpaid. Even management has had to help because employees are quitting. Please do better to change the culture. This isn't to root out everyone as some of them are very genuine people but enough is enough.
Employees are very rude, slow, they don't even have the respect to look at you when address a concern. The male nurse is the reason I completely stopped donating. Never walk through those doors again. I just donate now at one blood. The Employees are friendly, fast, funny. Great experiences even on their mobile bus.
Staff is always pleasant with me and very knowledgeable. The facility is very clean. The parking lot is very large and there normally isn't a very long wait. If I hydrate really well before I donate I'm usually out the door within an hour. New donors can expect to be there 2 hours or longer so you must apply to donate well before their scheduled closing time.
Been here for years and I got sticked so hard it caused me to bruise so bad to the point it's legit the size my phone. Was told by the *doctor* as long as bruise goes down by 75% I would be cleared it's been about almost 3 weeks now and they decided it has to be completely gone. Because of somebody else error I can't donate for a month. No wonder the reviews are so bad
UPDATE: Although they have a thing they added from mid 2021 asking for patience with the staff shortage it's Q4 of 2022 and they are still short. Hire people, pay people better. Geez put people over profits and the profits will improve anyway. People walk away daily due to long lines. It used to be good but now it is consistently understaffed with long lines. I'm sure you're losing more money by not staffing 1 or 2 more people daily with the amount of people that walk in and walk back out daily. Also, don'
Called ahead to ask if I can donate while breastfeeding. First lady that answered didn't know so she went and got someone that would. This second lady told me yes. Neither answered the line with their name. Traveled 45 minutes, spent an hour and a half filling out a million questions to only be told that I can't donate while breastfeeding. Terrible, absolutely terrible that staff give out the wrong information. They wouldn't compensate me for my time. Disgusting. Nobody could care that they wasted my time l
very professional staff, and very friendly. I highly recommend!!
Wait times have increased i sincerely recommend octapharma plasma because csl does not have the same characteristics they literally are always short staffed waiting in line alone for over an hour and did not even make it to the back to donate yet you have multiple booths that remain empty are literally just for show and props at this point it's past irritating to deal with this kind of service and management has not met or exceeded expectations of mine it's always a headache coming here and Wilton manors is
Extremely incompetent ?medical? staff. I just tried to donate, told them that I DID have Hep C years ago, but I took Harvoni and was CURED of it. Staff basically called me a liar and said ?That's impossible. You don't get rid of Hep C?. I can understand them not wanting my blood (even though I was cured and my liver functions are completely normal), but I can't understand the incompetence of not even knowing that's it IS possible to cure it. Guess they just give lab coats to anybody these days ?????
The staff here (at least the ones I conversed with) are very friendly and helpful. I came as a new donor and it took me a little over 3 hours, the actual blood donating part only took about 45 minutes. I think on your second time around it should take a lot less time. My arm has no bruises, doesn't hurt at all and there is little to no pain when they inject you, despite how large that needle is. Just bring a good book or movie to watch and settle back. I'd advise you to only come here on days when you actua
This location has it's pros and cons. Some days the staff are nice, active, and chatty, but on other days it takes about 2 hours to get through. Their?s sometimes only 1 person working in the front, she goes from checking donors vitals to answering the phone to assisting a new donor. While theirs about 6+ people in the line. When you go to the door to be place into a seat it normally takes about 5-10 minutes. After that it takes them about another 5 minutes to set up the machine. Some staff are experience
Staff are extremely friendly & helpful. After multiple visits i've never had an issue with anyone & the staff always goes above & beyond to ensure you are completely comfortable before, during & after each visit! I highly recommend donating as it helps save lives & cure illnesses.
Some of the staff are nice but for the most part most of them rude as hell, they have no problem with making for of donors, and barely ever want to help anyone, not even they own co workers. I feel everyone there need. To take a class of how to response to people with out being loud, foolish, spikeful, or judgemental.some of the worst kind of people work here, but some of them are nice as well.
So, this business compensates you for plasma donations, which if you need the money is very nice. How much you are given is based on weight. The first time you go, it is going to take between 3-4 hours, depending on time of arrival and density of donors. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because they need more staff, and much better organization. It shouldn't take 1.5 hours to get a client signed up and through a physical. Staff shouldn't have to be berated about payments, as they don't even m
The worst blood donation center ever. They kicked me out because I was standing up for myself when people tried to skip me. Apparently, you can just lay any item in line and it will hold you're position for you. I had a male individual tell me that their dirty towel was standing in line for them. Go to Octapharma, its a brand new facility and the wait & processing times are very short even for new donors. Not only that it's clean unlike CSL, where people smoke in the very same line you're in so you get a fr
They have changed the weight table now it less money if you under 200lbs
Honestly, they're very nice. I like to give plasma to help out and it's nice to get a buck or two in the process. I've had a couple of bad stick experiences but never be afraid to ask for another technician, politely. They'll oblige and be apologetic and happy to help. I see a lot of bad reviews for this place and all I'm going to say is that you attract more with honey than you do vinegar. Treat the staff with courtesy and they'll do the same.
Excellent service throughout the entire process!!!! EVERYONE WAS GREAT AND HELPFUL!!!!!
I had a perfectly fine experience here. Note, a few people here have complained about Rusty. My view is the opposite. He was the one who inserted the needle in my arm last time, and he did it perfectly: less pain than I'd ever experienced donating plasma. I hope I get him again today.
Every time I get that damn card in the mail saying "we miss you" I tell myself I'm not going back. But then I go back and I'm reminded why I didn't want to go back in the first place. It's almost as if they strive to be worst than the last time. There was absolutely nothing about today's visit that I enjoyed. I arrived at 3 and left at 8pm. Ok, I was considered a new donor but 5 hrs is ridiculous. The only thing extra I had to do was watch a video which took about 10 mins. and take a physical which took ab
This location is filled with the most incompetent, disrespectful, and neglectful staff I have ever seen. The ?manager? Amanda is no different. I was a donor and was neglected in my station. There was no staff in my area for when I needed assistance. They make sure and advise you if you need any assistance to raise your hand so you can get someone?s attention. That only works if there is someone there to get attention from. I was also unable to move sake of the needle in my arm. As a result of their neglect
The most ratchet unprofessional medical facility I have ever been. Some of the people have a bedside manner or is it about customer service. The security guard has no manners at all and treats some donors differently than other donors she shares an ethnicity with.People donate for different reasons saving lives or $60 bucks who knows. There are always glitches in the system, hold time on the phone is a minimum of 20 minutes. Spelling your name immediately and giving your birthdate does not seem to expedite
Very friendly staff but they're extremely understaffed. I hate to write a bad review but they didn't even wipe the chair after an old men shed dead skin and hair. I'm assuming that they're that busy and they need to hire like 5 more employees on the floor. I'd rather go to Biotest, one of CSL's, competitors since they immediately clean your station and even offers appointments. I love the staff but they need an organized system to work effectively. CSL makes to much money to have people waiting for 3 & 1/2
Incredible donating experience it was painless.
Stephanie is the most unprofessional human being I have ever dealt with. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Amanda came out. Amanda and Jared lacks management skills. The staff don't wear name tags so you don't get there names. I will call corporate tomorrow. Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service.
I have been coming here for 2 years now. I love that they remember the long time donors. Patricia is always wonderful when I come in. The place is clean and operates well.
I would give them less than a one star for the way this facility is operated. They do not sanitize the donor bed after each donor! In fact, when I asked them to sanitize the bed for me, they were snarky and barely sprayed any spray. I grabbed the sanitation spray myself and sprayed the bed with the proper amount that should be used! I also took notice to a phlebotomist who wore the same gloves from donor to donor! ALL EMPLOYEES NEED TO PUT ON NEW GLOVES AFTER EACH DONOR THEY INJECT WITH A NEEDLE AND EJECT W
Their ratings speak for itself! I've donated at multiple plasma centers over the past 8 years and never came across a place so unsanitary and unprofessional! I stopped donating at this location over 2 years ago because of the unprofessionalism and lack of time management! Came back and nothing has changed but the employees. Confused as to why this specific location hasn't gotten it together yet. Corporate sees the complaints but I can assure it's never been addressed. Terence is the only name I know over th
I tried to become a new donor at the Margate location. They took my paperwork. Gave me stuff to read and then handed me headphones to use the computer to watch a video. Both computer's headphone jacks (on the desk in plain sight) were not working but no one told me this. You needed to plug them in behind the monitor. After 5-10 minutes of fumbling with both computers, I had to go find someone for help to figure this out. Then I sat for 45 minutes staring at the walls with not a peep from staff. Finally as
Dr. Bethiane amazing service
Christina the general manager doesn't care about the donors i seen two donors about to get into a fight at this location. I would be concerned with general safety issues here also the staff doesn't know sterilization they don't change gloves between donors.
Very unprofessional!!! Understaffed!!! My first 3 visits it took me 2 hours to donate plasma. They dont know how to stick pepple right. Then i signed up for getting extra money your first 6 visits. They changed policy and underminded my request. Had to call corporate to get money promised to me that i signed up for. started going to csl in Riviera Beach. They know what they doing up there.
Great center compared to some of the other ones I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and if you come from a center that takes ALL DAY, you will be pleasantly surprised. You can tell how much management actually cares about their workers and customers. Highly recommend
Not only have the wait time increased but the payout hasn't, and because I didn't come in the last 3-4 weeks they took reward points I've already earned so they don't have to give me an extra $10 bucks !! This is the second time they did this as saying their punishing me for not making them 90% or more than what I get paid. Greedy and this is my last donation at csl. I'm going where I'll make more with less wait and no penny pinching
Everytime I go there I have a bad experience. The last time I went the girl stick me incorrectly, So another girl had to come and stick the other arm. Before I left the "customer" beside me had the same issue! I have bruise because of it. Very Few of them wear name tags. They do more playing then work (long lines). They don't change glove often at all. Never going back here!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE.
My experience went very well. Coming in as a new donor. Learning about plasma and what they do there, is great to be apart of saving lives. The staff is very friendly. Clean atmosphere. The process goes very smoothly.
The Margate locations is the only location I have ever been to so my opinion of CSL as a whole is only be based on this location CSL as a whole needs new management. I was at this location donating and was told by staff member Ericka that it was my "privilege" to be allowed to donate my plasma. She said this because I requested another staff member Nydia to insert needle into my arm for my donation. I requested Hilda because she is one of the best staff members at this location, most others are below averag
What great staff...despite what people say the staff goes out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed, comfortable, and informed. Shout out to Terence, A.J., Ashley, Gio, Stephani (I think I spelled names right) for great experiences.
To start I felt welcomed as soon as I came in. They are awesome every process was throughly explained and they even went the extra mile to provide water and peanut crackers the other place in Broward did not offer that. They are more advanced and process is pretty clear straightforward. The pay out is good not the referral fee because the other place gives more. But they offer special promotions which help greatly to the regular donor payout check them out on tell Erica I sent ya??
One of the young lady here has a problem with the new girl. She mention it to every employee which makes everyone in line wait. Its childish. The new lady is very nice and bilingual and very helpful.
Much more patience than wilton manor's csl, etc more to talk about but find out 4 urself! Big dreams are born daily Giving gifts of lives, good heart or just needing money easy gifts hard lives we live, bravery we express because of needs for tomorrow's gifts of given ask God about that life?! So is the Dunst Brave-hearted like a whole-hearted but not 1 to speak of, who's who in this world of confusing spirits the devil loves those odds never a peaceful even but an event always happen, still digging 4 peac
waste to time my son went there with his license social and birth certificate and they turned him away due to his middle name being missing from one of his forms of id. We are suppose to be in such a crisis and they want people to donate but then they turn people away even after bringing the requested forms if ID
Excellent precision in her craft
If I could leave a 0 I would. After 6 years of donating twice a week, I was refused my bonus money on my 8th donation in November due to a new policy made the day before. No notice no bonus no nothing. I asked to speak to a manager. They stayed in the back and had a reception girl deliver the message to me. Weeks before Christmas you deny a loyal donor and single mother of 6 a $60 bonus, when you make over $20,000 off my plasma every month. My complaints will not stop here.
Absolutely disrespected by Stepanie, a screener, and the acting manager on duty Amanda. I am appalled at the cynical way both of those staff members acted. Most of the time I have a good experience here. I am appalled at the cynical way both of those staff members (Amanda the manager and Stephanie) acted. I do want to thank Gio the phlebotomist for his proffesionalism today.
2 different times i have gone there they had messed up me arms. They didnt know how to stick and my arm blew up like a ballon. The person keep moving the needle around in my arm that caused a bad Bruse that took a month to go away and everysince then, ive been having problems with my arm and problems with my fingers swelling and hurting. I dont no if she mess up and damaged my nerve in my arm, but i never been back. And im now having pain everysince.
Wonderful experience as for Dani :)
If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Some of the staff here is nice and all, but the policies in place are ABSURD. My pulse had been too high to donate back in october so I stopped coming until I could get it back to normal, no worries just policy. I just came back today, January 4th, 3 months since my last visit, and was told im deferred for two weeks from today because THREE MONTHS AGO my pulse was too high. Management treats people who come in here like we are worthless. And they clearly have
The donor techs treat you like less than. My wife passed out while donating and they still let her get up and walk out by herself. We went together but it took me a bit longer. By the time I got to her in the car she was grey and didn't know where she was. Shame on you CSL.
They said I could not donate because I served in the US ARMY in Germany from 85 to 86 for fear of mad cow disease.
My name is Nancy and I have donated with Csl Plasma located in Margate, Florida in the past. I recently returned to the donation site and had the pleasure of meeting Erica H., She was the receptionist and very cheerfully welcomed me and got the process started promptly. Next I met Aquanisa as the staff nurse. She had that just extra special touch, the kind that you would expect from a caregiver or from a nurse. She was certain to answer all of my questions. As I went into the donation room, I was very happ
Great place nice staff.
Depending on who's all work things usually go smooth in the Margate location but the Wilton Manors location is the worse place I've ever been to the don't even wipe chairs during the pandemic smh it's pretty much like a night club in the daytime over there.
CSL Margate is tucked away in the back of a plaza off of 411 and whatever street. Its remote location makes for low donor traffic even on a busy day. However, they are still slow. I come in there and there's no one waiting, no lines, and no donors ahead of me. But, somehow, I still am leaving two and a half hour later. Why? Because they are slow. I stood in the designated spot to be screen for about a minute before I was noticed - there was no one else in line. I was seated to begin donating but I started t
Won't be coming here anymore I was told my first 8 donations I would receive $100 for each visit and on my 7th donation I received $55 bucks very disappointed was told after my 7th donation that I have a 45 day grace period to get the 8 donations done in order to receive $100 each visit that's why I only receive $55 but meanwhile on my 6th donations I had to readjust my pay for the same reason because they system ended with the ?promotion? for the new donors why wasn't I told that I had a grace period the
Staff always great to me and yes there are times that are way busier than others so I advise middle of day to go.... 5 and after toooo busy!
I started coming to CSL to donate during the summers where I had a bit more time on my hands and figured, why not earn a few bucks. When the Margate location first opened, they were clean, efficient and sanitary. Now that it's gotten popular opposed to the Wilton Manors location, the phlebotomists are rude, unconcerned, and couldn't care less about donors. The female bathrooms are repulsive. Old tampons and pads remain in the trash can, never any toilet paper, paper towels, or anti-bacterial soap available.
One of the worse companies to donate at. I have seen employees stick themselves & then stick donor's by mistake , you have people on the floor who aren't trained rite and then you have managers who truly have no idea what they are doing. Don't waste your time at this location at all
I had fallen on hard times last year and was giving plasma as needed. My last time there a younger male black tech was super rude. I never had any problems with anyone else. There was a penny on the chair and I passed it to him, and with a very nasty attitude he said ?you're the one that needs money, all money is money, you don't want this penny. ? he scoffed and shamed me for passing him a penny!! He went on even further to say, ?pfftt I'll keep it? .. none of that was needed. He basically made this big lo
The experience was horrible, the staff is rude and take their sweet time.not to mention the side conversations they have about their personal life(like we need to know what you & your whole family did last weekend) the management is nice but it does seem like he has too much to do not enough time to get to it all.
Very horrible customer service. The worse I have ever seen. Constantly giving out incorrect information. Too many inconsistencies. Lack of professionalism. CSL Plasma needs to hire better caliber of staff and fire these low wage workers they have. Pay better recruit skilled competent people not just anyone desperate to make $10 an hour and doesn't really want to be there. You get what you pay for and in the long run it will only tarnish the image of csl plasma. If you do the research you will see that many
Employees power trip at times. Spend too much time talking about non work related issues. Could be a faster/efficient service if donors were look at as paying costumers our plasma is worth alot more then the $65 dollars a week they give. Donor are not begging for a hand out were exchanging gold for pennies
Very unprofessional staff excluding a few. I do not recommend this place if you're self conscious about your physical appearance. You will be stared at and made fun of. Seen this happen to one person in particular.
I have gone through many struggles recently, but the one thing that I can always count on is the optimism and professionalism that I get twice a week at CSL PLASMA, MARGATE!! Mitzie, Rona, Nenette, LaToya, Jermaine, Kathy, AJ, Terrance, Rusty and Cristina & Kurt (managers) are consistently optimistic, cheerful & professional!! I feel like it's my second family!! The facility itself is definitely CLEAN and SAFE!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING HERE TWICE A WEEK...EARN EXTRA MONEY AND HELP SAVE LIVES!!
I've come here numerous times.. only had 1 problem with an older guy who I'm guessing his name is Rusty based on reading the comments below. Well whatever his name is, messed up the line by not overseeing a crink in it, causing the bowl inside the machine to explode. My plasma/blood was inside there, and there was no returning, so I couldn't return for 2 months because of that. Other than that everyone was nice. Sometimes the wait sucks, you can end up being there for a couple hours.
I really enjoy the technology used by CSL Plasma in Margate. FL., from the App used to complete the Health Questionnaire to the quick check in electronically of my barcode at the front lobby.. The staff is mostly friendly and I like when they place water bottles by the donating line to keep hydrated while waiting to get to donor floor... I have been going to this location for over 4 yrs now and I appreciate the attention I receive from everyone all the time..
I was told by several phlebotomist that I can get a new donar package which included a squeezy ball but after five donations I never got one today I have seen several new donors get theirs and when I asked for just a ball, they sent me management explaining that it cost two dollars. I don't understand how they can give them to everyone but me all day I was told by several people that I could receive it. The manager made me feel stupid for asking
Its good to earn a extra few bucks...bathrooms never have hand soap...restrooms stay dirty trash are filled with womens tampons and pads..its one worker who does not change his glove after he sticks you...place is always short staff...if you want to get in and out dont either bother stopping her...
Staff is okay, but management treats you like dairy cattle. I've donated at 4 places in 3 states. These managers are the WORST. They missed their calling. They should be working in a closed room where they never have to interact with people.
appreciate others describing their staff experiences.. my issue donating today was not with the staff.. i was greeted n was treated very nicely by all who helped me.. did u know to donate plasma they have to remove ur blood and mix it with anticoagulant stuff before injecting the red blood cells along with that antistuff into ur body ? i didnt.. until today.. thought u could simply donate to help science and make an easy $100 in the process.. wasnt sure but thought if they take it out i wouldnt have to r
Great and easy, always nice
I recently started donating plasma and try my best to go twice a week, sometimes I can't make it due to scheduling because I'm out of town, but I have to say the staff in Margate have made me feel right at home so I will be visiting the Margate location from now on. I used to go all the way to Andrews Ave and Oakland Park Blvd but the one on 441 is closer to my house. I highly recommend this location and their staff. Look we all have bad experiences once in a while, I get that, but my mission in donating pl
Was on red no flow beeping for over 10 mins while 6 staff memebers would rather set up the equipment and talk amongst themselves. And this is usually the better lab. Smh. Went there at like 12pm and my arm still hurts at 8pm cause they had to keep digging in my arm cause the dumbass man wanna not stick it so loose.
I've been coming here since August 2019 and I love the staff. Everyone is personable, professional and prompt. And the facility is always clean.
Would be 5 stars but that old Guy Rusty is horrible at sticking. I try to avoid his section at all costs. 3 separate times he didn't put the needle in properly. The 3rd time I let him know before hand about the other 2 times and he still messed up. I never have to wait in a line. in and out in 1 hour tops.
Judy was amazing great person very carefull with what she's doing great personality
The staff is amazing here! ??????
DO NOT LET RUSTY NEAR YOU WITH THE NEEDLE. I read a review about Rusty before I went and decided to be ?open minded? and go off my own judgement since I've donated plasma 3 times before with NO issues but I saw the name tag and was immediately anxious. he sticked me and ?redirected? the needle SUPER crooked and continued to play with this huge needle inside my arm and obviously was unconvinced with the way it was placed yet still left. My plasma wasn't even enough to fill the bottled container like it usual
they have posters saying how customer focused they are. NO THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the staff sucks and treat you like trailer trash. Even though I live in a nice condo on the water and drive an Acura TSX??????????
This place is full of it. They lie they rob you and then when you confront them your deferred full off s..... I went two weeks in a row weight was 154 to 150 the 3rd week i go weight was 144 i must have smoked crack for 3 days cuz i lost 10 pounds in a week but the funny thing waz when i go a day later my weight was 154 i must have slept in BK for a hole day and weight went back to 154 10 pounds caca. This means s.... They said its my cloth What i ate bs. So i said they did this to me 1 year ago. To show t
Really traumatic experience today. I have over 30 donations so it's not me. Only a handful of people know what they're doing and it's not fair to them. This is exactly how you lose good employees
John M., RN helpful friendly
Doesn't seem this place is ran under any management or have supervision there , out the front his horrible, from bad attitudes to just down right disrespect, idk if it's because if who ever there hiring think there better than other who donate or it's just a stigma but management get your staff on the front inline cause it's getting worst and worst and it's not looking good for a company that makes millions from plasma. FIX THIS !
Dana is the main reason I continue to donate
Amazing place with even better staff! Everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful and will make your donation go as smooth as possible!
With a line of 20 people, you've got one( 1 ) person doing the initial line, while the others hover slowly around. This place was never that good, but now it's a joke.
I had a great experience. :) Front desk was friendly and able to say I don't know, but show me where to go. Place is clean and donors are friendly. Donation materials are disposable.
Alway a pleasant experience..very professional and caring staff??I have been coming for 6 years now and I had to change my rating from a 5 to a 2, which saddens me. Things have changed here????
They allow people to boss the staff, meaning people to cut others I felt really disrespected, understaffed the doctor he's great and always positive but he was not here I am so dehydrated coming from school and they don't have any water in stock nor sell any thumbs down you guys are seriously lacking:/
Everyone has been awesome
Good customer service but man the long line sucks I wish there was more staff or a faster system
Friendly staff, dontation went smoothly, staff made sure communication was clear and made sure I understood what was going on at all times! Looking forward to coming back !
They took away the platinum line and reduced the payout. Way to reward the loyal donors.. Staff is still great. Line is ridiculous
For what it's worth, they have actually changed management and have been constantly improving. If this was back in January this would have only been a 1 star review
If I could put zero stars I would feel like a professionalism in this facility is disgraceful specifically the person named Ashley my boyfriend went there to donate they could not find his vein so they told him he was going to receive his donation credits anyway we go to the grocery store and it's not even in his system I have him call them twice and they're accusing him of being a female saying that it was me on the phone when that wasn't the case I was behind him very angry because we had to buy groceries
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
