It's honestly sad the pace they go in this center. There is no reason it takes 4 hours to donate plasma. On top of the energy from a lot of the workers are just not a good vibe at all (not all of them). Corporate really needs to do better with this center, as there is not another location close.

Dear corporate, for the love of all that is holy get rid of the hiring freeze. I like the staff here, but it's absolutely ridiculous that I have to stand in line for an hour and a half because you refuse to hire enough phlebotomists operate all of the machines in back. At this time, multiple rows of beds are inoperable because they cannot hire the staff necessary to operate them. If I could review corporate separately, this review would be a 1 star review.

Been donating here for years. They have a tendency to be understaffed but the staff they do have is amazing and always do their jobs to the best of their ability. They keep dropping the amount of money you get. They've gotten rid of all the bonuses for coming multiple times. And now they want more plasma for even less money. Plus they never have enough people working to get thru the lines. Took almost 3 hours today and most of that was just waiting for a bed. Donated last week and the staff was very scattered. No one was communicating properly. They're unhelpful. First reason for the bad review is SAFETY. I had a male phlebotomist who had gloves on and was sterilizing my arm for the needle. He tells me to wait and PULLS OUT HIS CELLPHONE WITH HIS GLOVES. I wasn't able to get referral bonus because my name was put in wrong in the system. I went to customer service (which is a joke itself) which told me to go to the center. I absolutely love this donation center! I've been to other places and I've been hurt and had veins blown. I've been at CSL for a little over a month now, not once have I been hurt. The staff always has a smile when they see me. I feel like they actually care about me here. If you want to donate and make a change, this is where to do it. Don't do it. Long process that often won't pay. I live 45 minutes away and occasionally make the drive. Quick cash minimum effort. I do a questionaire before I leave, and preregister an appointment as it is a long drive. The other day I went in and was denied because they are still waiting on my lab results. I could have easily been informed at any point in the process before having ever left my house. The good news, I'll never need to make that drive again.

I literally got here at 11 and I been here before haven't donated since 2018. The customer service and help and such has gone down hill. They don't pay attention. An employee told me that she would get me hooked up after she was dealing with another. After she was done she took off her jacket and her device and left to go on break. I have been to other CSL centers around the country (Portland, ME; Albuquerque; Omaha; Chicago) and had no problems. The only problem here was the length of time from entering to leaving. They seemed to have plenty of staff, but I was there for three hours. They were friendly and professional, and the donors were equally courteous. The length of time is why I leave four stars.

CSL needs to get more staff in the afternoon during peak times, so they can open more than two rooms of beds. It will make the donating process a lot faster for everyone. Also they have one staff member that works here everyday, and he is very very slow at his job. I'm a regular donor at a different CSL facility. I was shocked and appalled at how things were run here. Company standards state the reception booths are to be sterilized between each donor. This was NOT done. Per company policy gloves are supposed to be changed between each and every donor this two was , NOT done. This is for everyone's health safety. Not sure what everyone?s talking about with the 3-4 hour long waits because I haven't had that experience (maybe I just happen to come at the right times??). My first donation experience involved a lot of waiting, but I learned that there had been a power outage the day before and that is why is was so busy and everything took so long. My second donation experience was much better! Immediately upon entering I was able to use the kiosk, I was immediately screened, and within 10 minutes I had a bed and I was donating. 10/10 Will be back to donate! Much faster than Octapharma and I didn't have to be re-stuck!

Jassmine "stuck" me on my first time back after about 4 years. Smooth, no bruising on hers :) Small bruise from the second stick, but it is gone already. Pretty much expect to wait when you donate plasma, I think, but still pretty quick. Even the first donation (with the "new donor" process), I was in around 11 and out by 1. Welcome to the most ghetto of Plasma Centers. It takes forever to get through the process. Instead of taking care of the donor, the screeners are too busy talking to each other about how their baby daddy's are sleeping with other women or complaining about not having a babysitter when they want to go to the clubs at night, real professional. At least the staff on the donor floor are a lot better.

Went two weeks ago the girl on the donation floor pulled the needle out of my arm after donation. Left me there bleeding out while she walked away. Then came back without gloves to clean me up. Today was my first time donating and this place made me not want to donate ever again. The process just to get into the donating part is forever long. The person doing my screening was wearing a face mask that you could tell was old as hell, it had brown marks on it. Then when they did the physical part the "nurse" just sped through it. They have bonuses donate 8 times get extra money. I get screwed out of it all the time cause they mess up and bruise u. Beginning to think it is done on purpose. Missed out on $100 extra last month and now $75 this month. Becareful who u have stick u. Tyler is the best

Sure, you're probably going to have to stand in line waiting.. but you're getting paid to bleed a bit while you scroll social media or watch a movie on your phone. If you worry about donating due to typically bruising when you have blood drawn, don't - these guys are great at what they do and will treat your veins well. They have real skill.

They still say on here they open at 6am...they. Really. Open up at 7am.. Which is a MAJOR inconvenience this morning. Other folks say that its already known that the hours are wrong...this sucks...good thing i get my first check from my new job because i wont be coming back. Because of this my kids will be late to school. Thats what i hate about my people...we dont care if it dont directly benefit us... Thats why we will stay on the bottom...

This place is so unsanitary. The employees are extremely careless. They are never ready to go. Always let people in then make us wait another 30mins before they even get the kiosk set up. Every time I come, I stand in line for at least 1 1/2 hours. That's not even the actual donating part. This place sucks. Wouldn't recommend anyone come here.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The "nurses" (I use that term loosely.) were wearing worn, dirty, ill-fitting scrubs. (Picture a 3 lb sausage in a 2 lb skin. Ick.) They have very little actual medical knowlege. The male nurse who interviewed me had a stutter and a lisp. He kept getting my medications wrong. He could not spell to save his life. They have zero decision-making ability. I really wish I had read all the terrible reviews before trying to dontate there. I wouldn't have wasted my time. T

I have been donating here for the last 2 years, and the only reason I keep doing it is because I am in desperate need of money. The first time you come in to donate, expect to wait about 6 hours before you get out; after that, don't expect to get out of this place for at least 3 hours. The waiting times are unreasonably long. This is do to the fact that the CSL Plasma center's computer system is very slow and the kiosks where you sign in are always needing to get rebooted. On top of that the staff is extrem

These people will destroy your arms and cause bruises, then defer you from donating when THEY are the ones who cause them. Shouldn't have to move a needle around 6 times to get it right.

Conveniently located off the number 4 bus line (90th and Maple) and pays the highest in town for the first 3 visits ($100 per visit). Highly recommend!

They pay good but their staff needs get it together every time I come in to donate I have wait like hr or 2 every time just to get hooked up then just cAuse one of their staff don't like me it takes him always a half hour to an hour just to unhook me the look for other people to be done go directly to them and bypass me

I haven't been back since October. I get the long wait, but will agree they are probably also under staffed. My biggest complaint is the attitude there. Very rude and unprofessional. They treat you like an inconvenience. I will not be back

Some staff members I feel is not respectful or courteous of the donor they focus to much on they're personal life at work to the point they forget they got a job to do... it's a select few who I viewed as good phlebotomist.. the rest our just disrespectful as hell ..

The staff are friendly and they do a great job of placing the needle so it doesnt hurt. They get you in and out in a timely manner. Overall a good experience !

Make sure you lie if you have any mental health issues because they will turn you away indefinitely for honestly self-reporting medications and severity. Even if you get a doctor's note stating you're fit to donate, they go off of what you, a nonmedical professional, says. Nevermind the huge waste of time it was to go through the whole process only to be turned away at that juncture.

We go there to donate. To get money for our plasma. Others need it. That dont have enought or any.I feel staff does there best that they can. You are short staff alot. Need more help.Most the time they are busy and doing extra because they don't have enough staff. Most of them are friendly. If your nice? Then they will be too.

well first off I want to say that anyone that can spend hours at end trying to help us all fight back with this covid-19 is a god-sent for me also I used to go to octapharma for years and they started messing up and then I came back to to CSL plasma I've been here since they've went down on Leavenworth Street I love it how when you walk in to CSL plasma reminds me of being in a hospital the staff are so well well mannered they treat me with respect they make my wife feel like she's a part of of them because

literally just go anywhere else, i have gone 3 times. each time they've given me some run around about why they can't process a donor. last time they forced me to provide info not asked for on any list. and when i came back they literally stopped processing patients minutes later. it's obviously clear they would rather not get our services

This plasma center is terrible you stand in line for 2hrs because they don't have any staff. When you get to the back you wait for another hour because, they don't have many staff in the back this is Ridiculous. I swear im going to find a new plasma center real soon

I have been waiting for a nurse for an hour. I have been here for 3 hours and havent even begun donated. They say it should be a 2 hour process for new donors. Yet i havent even been sat down to donate after 3 hrs. Any other location but this one.

Certain staff members are very rude along with an incompetent power trip nurse. I've been donating here for over 20 years and now must come to an end...customer service has certainly declined to an unacceptable level.

I love love CSL Plasma. Some people are wonderful very friendly and nice. They actually treawt you like a human being and not just some body to donate your plasma. They make you feel very special and also make you feel very proud to donate your plasma to save a wlife.... I've been donating at CSL Plasma sincey 2001. This place is aweful. I still have a bruise 2 weeks out that covers my whole underside of my forearm and upper arm. They hit a nerve my fingers tingle and cannot lift anything heavy with my arm. I have photos if i could post i would.

I started with CLS Plasma in 2015, it seems after the manager left in 2017, nobody but Saul knows anything so after a few unspoken confrontations with the ghetto philanthropist, I stop coming in June 2019 Because of the money they are offering I returned day one no problem, day 2 no problem, day 3 we reliving the same thing, I am going to do my part with arm curls and water and see how day 4 goes

i dont understand all the complaints,you give blood and they pay you money ,which i like money.if there is another blood center that does it faster,then just go there.these people work very hard standing on concrete with their feet hurting them.they try to get everyone in and out as fast as they can putting up with all kinds of people.try to be nice to them,they are trying to do their job the best that they can.and i think they do it very well.

CSL isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Geez, they do the best they can with what they have and have to listen to everybody complain when the donors are getting paid to be there. So give em at least a "LITTLE" break !!

Never have enough staff to handle the volume of donors. Expect to spend 2 plus hours every visit. The saline return seems useless and a waste of time for those who know what to do after a donation.

They transferred me from Louisiana and had me in and out of donation. Exactly how I needed my day to go. Good team. Good hustle. No mistakes.

Wait times are often too long. They don't change gloves in between donors. They don't wipe off their beds either. It's really "ghetto"
