They don't compensate you if you donate late Can't call either since they don't pick up the phone nor have an extension available to speak to anyone forcing people to spend money & gas in order to speak to them directly in person. This business also doesn't supply its patients with saline just Powerade..
What an amazing center and wonderful ppl work hard there . Kiki is adorable and she always do excellent work and go above and beyond, so sweet and professional. Melissa is wonderful as well ! Those 2 girls need to be recognized and appreciated and gifted with money ??????
5 stars for the service, the lady that poked me (Melissa I think her name was) was a sweetheart, very kind and very good at her job. However this location doesn't operate how the other two do, they don't offer new Doner bonuses unfortunately and I found that out at the very end. Regardless it's clean, well managed and quick. Great spot for +5 time donations
Very friendly and caring staff. Gentle and attentive. Eunice is one of the best at finding veins and not hurting anyone. She's an exemplary person for her line of work.
The best n the Warmest place to donate plasma in Orlando City The People working This place was so friendly n explain everything we needed to know about Plasma Donation process Also The Place was super clean as well as Donars Floors n Waiting Area I wanna say It's was 5 Star Place for Donate Plasma in Orlando Also They has various rewards for regular Donars n First Time Donars
The staff took forever to get to me seemingly going in whatever order they please. I showed up early in the morning with only 3 or 4 people and 7 went before us. No regard for others time constant chatting between each other rather than getting the job done and focusing on what's important- the patient. Needless to say i will not be returning. Also behavior of staff was extremely inappropriate claiming they are waiting for 8 O'clockers and loudly moaning and groaning this is a very embarrassing display of w
Stood at counter for like 15 min. Then a staff member [ girl ], shows up w a unfriendly face expression, like I am inconveniencing her. Place has a shady feel too. I walked right out! NEXT!!!
I usually go to Sanford but came here because I was closer this time. Sanford gives $100 for the first 5 donations but this place has none. THIS PLACE WILL NOT HONOR THE OTHER KEDPLASMA INCENTIVE PROGRAMS AND WILL NOT TELL YOU WHAT YOUR PAYMENT WILL BE BEFORE YOU TRANSFER. Getting $65 for the first donation instead of the $100 I was supposed to get all because I went to a different location makes no sense when they are all the same company. I already filed a complaint on their website and I hope this place
It used to be really excellent, caring, not to mention super clean and precise. Been going here for almost 2 years, The newer generation of workers have damaged my vein, multiple times, I just wish they had more training before, always need to get like a re-stick or something. Not to mention that they scrape the vein and get some bruising The veterans of here are still amazing workers, really appreciate everything that they do. The hasn't been sufficient training, I love donating plasma but now it feels
Just left. After donating a few times I erase my arm and told a man named Daniel I was in discomfort for him to only be very rude with me what seemed to make it hurt worse!!!!!?! Besides that is quite tall that is a gentleman and a scholar!
Okay so first time yes you going to be waiting long say 3 to 4 hours. Just bring something to kill time and you be fine. But after that it's in and out 2 hours . The staff are great Jon Jon is great and Mike too. All the ladies are super friendly and ??. Please Please drink plenty of water before going it make the donation souch faster. We are saving life's on donation at a time.
Most the employees are so loud for no reason at all. Super unprofessional in every way... Especially the person name Karla! Wow.
The staff is always pleasant and professional. They make sure you are comfortable and cared for.
Horrible place the money ain't worth it . If you transfer here, your donut fees will not come as a new donor. And the waits 2 hours no matter what
Natalie she is professional respectable Thank You For having a Walker Just Like Her she go by the book Thank You kedplasma Orlando????????
Why can't anyone answered the phone? I have to call over and over again for days to try and get my military bonus. ??
Excellent staff keep you well informed and safe. The service is always so exceptional and fast. I recommend them.
Love coming here the employees are really friendly and helpful and please drink plenty of water to make the process go faster and to get there early gotta be there at 5:00am because the doors open at 6:00am first come, first serve the more you get everything done fast u be the one to leave.
These people need to learn to answer the damn phone . Days and days of calling to get simple information and nobody ever answers.
I have been donating at this place for years. I have never had an issues until recently. Daniel one of the young men who works up front is so rude and nasty. He gives out the dirtiest looks. He is not professional or welcoming. When i sit in the booth to get my vitals done, he never speaks to me. He never says hello when i sit down nothing. He really needs a refresher on customer service. You don't treat people how he does. He is like a high school mean girl. I have been told by staff he does this a lot to
It is clean and the staff move you through. It's a casual experience and you are treated well as a donor. Once you've come a few times, it's almost like you're family! If you have time, want to help create medical treatments for others, and you want a little extra money, this location is where it's at.
This plasma center is always super clean and well organized. Mildred (vital tech) is always so welcoming when I visit and she has been very helpful in my experience. She makes me feel like I'm coming back home every single time. What a breath of fresh air to still had so warm hearted and attentive person. Many blessings Mildred ??????
They don't pay you & they don't answer the phone?a lot of cattiness
After calling 5 separate times over the span of several weeks and sending an email weeks ago that still has gone unanswered, it is really clear that this center does not care about its donors. If you can't take the time to ever respond to a question or answer the phone, who knows what else they're not doing when you actually are donating. I would have loved to start donating here, but I'm not going to drive 30 minutes out of the way just to ask about what the new donor fees are and how the process works si
I come here every Tuesday and Saturday. And when I do the place is clean, staff is friendly and not in an awkward way. It's very inclusive here and honestly it would be a cool place to be at if this wasn't a donation center. Still pretty cool though
If I am being completely honest, this is the best place I've been to in a long time I have been already coming here for.over a yr.. the nurses here are awesome... they know my vein perfectly. The staff is very friendly and humble , I have 0 ( ZERO ) COMPLAINTS.. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND.... & TO.ADD TO.IT THE FACILITY IS ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS AND CLEAN AT ALL TIMES
Excellent Service and Clean Facility I recently visited KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial for a donation, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service and cleanliness of the facility. The processing was incredibly fast, and I was in and out in no time. I must give a special shoutout to Jessie, the lead receptionist, who was exceptional. She was always caring and ensured that everything was running smoothly. Her attention to detail and professionalism truly stood out. I highly recommend this place to anyon
Friendly workers easy steps and great environment
I really like the new system. I have been going twice a week for 4 years and I've never had a bad stick. I really enjoy my interactions with staff.
They have some great phlebotomists working there! I've never had a problem. Anything you need, just call someone over. It's a very worthwhile cause for anyone who may be interested. Check it out!
This is awesome place to go. They do their best to get everyone in and out. I've been going here for years now. I never had any issues and built friendships with a few of them.
Wonderful and friendly staff make a stressful experience pleasant. The caring personnel are quick to answer any questions and make sure you understand the answers! A humane and lovely facility, helping a worthwhile cause.
I've been coming here for a couple years on and off now. But every time I'm here it's a smooth process with friendly and familiar staff members. I have not had a bad experience yet.
Exceptional Service and Care at KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial I recently visited KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial to donate, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. I want to give a special shoutout to Jessie, the lead receptionist, who truly goes above and beyond. She is always caring and ensures everything runs smoothly. Her dedication to providing top-notch service is commendable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to donate. It's not just about the excellent facilities and eff
Amazing staff! Great experiences for my daughter and myself :). Very clean facility. Ariana, Matt, Briana, Charles & Shelby are our favorites. Also, the managers are very sweet and caring ;). Great place to donate and save lives though :)
The staff here are really friendly. They have been very attentive and accommodating. The initial process took a lot less time than some other companies Ive donated to in the past. Every person who has checked me in here has also been very professional and happy. Very good experience with BPL
Since KEDPLASMA has taken over I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars. I'm glad they kept their good employees and have improved the management as well kudos. Update: I have upgraded my review stars from 1 to 3. They've added additional staff at the appropriate hours, wait time has cut done significantly in my past 2 visits. Let's keep it up! Thank you. 2 months ago: "Funny (not) how they tell you to use their contact us link, but yet they ghost you (no response in 4 days so far). It kind of shows you h
My favorite place to donate plasma! I've been coming here since I turned 18 and it's always been a pleasure. Great staff, great wifi and great music. It makes the hour of donating go so quickly. I will continue to come here for years to come.
In the past several months they decreased their hours. They are no longer open on Sunday, and Saturday's hours are truncated. Despite this, the staff here still find reasons to complain. If you come in late, you are heckled. The check in staff will find any reason to not have you pass. The phlebotomists will rush you and keep micro-managing you to keep your hand pumping. I am appalled that medical professionals have an issue with having employment with steady hours. ETA: They keep this facility freezing.
My experience was okay. The staff was great. All were very nice. My wait time was close to 4.5 hours for my first time. But that was the only downside. After i was hooked up everything was fine. Staff checked on me often to make sure i was okay and after i was done they made sure i was good to go. Although i did pass out from dehydration the staff was there helping me get better. They gave me an iv of saline and watched me and made sure i was awake and okay. They made sure my vitals were good before they l
The process was going very fast until I had to get checked on and yes there was a line with only 2 or 3 people in front of me and no one came to check on me for over an hour. Just sitting in a chair wasting time. I have been to other places to donate and I was liking this place better than other places until I had to wait and waste my whole day. Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. I understand they might be understaffed today but for the whole entire process of getting checked and donated shouldn't ta
New donor wait time is what I was told on the phone. Expect at least three hours 1st time. Staff was great. The woman playing reggae was kind and the low vol reggae refreshing. Abby was on point with getting me hooked up to the machine, as well as kind and compassionate.
Exceptional Service at KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial I recently had the pleasure of donating at KEDplasma Orlando East Colonial, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Jessie, the lead receptionist, is simply outstanding. Her caring demeanor and dedication ensure that everything runs smoothly for donors like myself. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone considering plasma donation.
You can tell the new owner is greedy. Every month since he took over the pay for donations has gone down significantly. How is it when the other company was managing it was $70 for your first donation of the week $80 for your second donation with an extra $75 for your 8th donation (not 8th donation of that month, your 8th donation period). Now it's $60 and $65 what kind of incentive is that with no extra pay for the 8th donation of the month. Not only that but I've noticed that this place always seems to be
They do not pay the full amount promised, then they will tell you they will add it on, but never do. Then they don't answer the phones. There are a lot of other plasma Centers here, go to those unless you hate yourself.
0.5 stars! It keeps getting worse every time. Ive been here since 4:30, it's now 6:30. 20 of us are still waiting on 3 employees. 1doing needle and 2 doing the cleanup. They need more employees. They like to say that more people are coming but they never have 1/2 of their chairs full. On top of that there are about 5 missing. They don't have the good sense to even lock the doors after closing time.. It's now 6:50 and I think I'm next to be seated. So that probably 15 more mins to wait. Plan your w
The staff always friendly, they are helpful, love Chevy she funny n always singing, maybe she should work at nursing home to uplift they spirits ??, I think Melissa needs more training, always have problems when she poke me, fabi always loud you can hear her before you see her, Jessica sweet ??, the other black lady with plaits always nice and just be minding her business, Jon Jon cool, he knows everybody, I don't know the lady name at front , Hispanic with dark hair, with glasses, she's always talking abou
Great place to donate, The staff are great and very kind. All the stations are clean and well taken care of. If you're thinking of donating make sure you come here.
I've donated at MANY places before and this was by far my best experience. As a new donor here my wait time was half as long as any other new donor wait time. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. Abby was the one who stuck me and she did an amazing job making me feel comfortable after I let her know about my fear of needles. She even covered the needle with an extra piece of gauze so I didn't have to see it in my arm. I will be donating here from now on!
I have never written a review, but I was so frustrated that I have to. I've Been coming here for over 3 years, but it's finally time to commit to a different company. Here are just a few reasons why: -They recently reduced the amount they pay donors, and closed their doors on Sundays. So Less money, less availability, and longer wait times. -70-80% of staff is rude AF. They are Usually either loudly gossiping to eachother (or their buddy donors), ignoring you, or giving you a dirty attitude for absolute
Been coming to KED plasma since 2008, love how the staff are always friendly and willing to help. I as well love Jessica?s Spanish accent lol. Thank you guys for always taking good care of us.
Because my review was too long, I'm going to make it shorter. A friend told me about this place and I finally checked it out some time ago. It is an easy way to make money, but there are caveats about this place. No matter what time you arrive, be prepared to wait all day. My first donation took 5 hours because of the physical plus all the people in front of me. All return visits after that, for me, took between 45 minutes and 4 hours of a wait time in order to get on the donor floor. This place doesn
The only ones I deal with is Jessica Mike and Colleen the rest suck never were they should be very rude takes for ever to DC some one other than that great place to donate and I live in Altamonte but I come to the location in Orlando
I've been donating here for over the 6 months, and have had nothing but good experiences. Staff is friendly and do their best to keep up with the crowd, I enjoy the music and laughs that's provided.
I have been donating at this business since 2014. The staff is professional and courteous. The center is clean and you never feel like you don't matter because you are giving a gift to someone who desperately needs it. They get busy sometimes but never too busy to focus on customer service. You couldn't ask for a nicer group of employees from Mildred and staff in the front end to Jessica, Eric, Abby, JonJon and the rest of the crew in the donation area along with the medical/administrative staff in the
I have been coming here for almost a year now and it pays good , the people are great , it gets busy but it is worth the wait ! Ive made this a second source of income! Awesome !
I have been donating plasma for about 8 years. BPL (now Kedplasma), was one of the first centers I started at. And although I have donated at other centers, I could say that this is the only one where I continue to donate plasma. This center is always clean, the staff is very professional and they are very friendly.
I hadn't been to this place for about 8 months, but I went back today. It was a great experience. All employees were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend. Thank you.
I'm complaining their being quick to defer people because they don't know how to educate and be informative of proper information so donation can be successful they change pay its lowing constantly and managers need to be on the floor more so they can direct the staff that seem clueless in situations pertaining to donation and certain managers need proper guidance how to conduct informative information instead of making a person feel their being push aside
Brought my brother down to donate. He checked the website and called ahead before to make sure they would accept a bank statement as the proof of address. When we arrived, he was told that they definitely do not accept this. He knew the name of the person he talked to at the center, but that person was not there to confirm the conversation. When he asked to speak to a supervisor, he was told there was no supervisor there who could speak with him. So, either the check-in person was lying, or the staff w
Staff here is always professional and helpful. They get us in and out. And there's never a long wait time.
The most terrible terrifying thing about this center is a Spanish lead who dc me, this was the second time she literally ignored and never minded whatever I had to ask , last visit she was rude, tokd me I was mistaken , told me she gave me 70$ n gave me 60$ , today she tried to say I was mistaken again n that it wasn't her n when I said how those lack of thos same 10$ inconvenienced my holiday she smirked, even tho note for ten was in n I asjed for manager ecen othercstaff asked mabager she mafe sire to wso
I went from 1 Star to 3 after my 2nd visit. I would give em 5 Stars if their process for New Donors wasn't so long. So if you're a New Donor. Expect to be here about 4-5 hours but once that's out the way. The rest of your visits will be about an hour....Great Staff, Nice employees...JUST PLEASE FIX THE NEW DONOR PROCESS
What is the pay for April 2025 and new donor perks at this location?
My 5 ?'s are for the staff ONLY!!! The administration gets a big fat *0*!!! Jessie, Crystal, Jon Jon, Jordan, Are the faces up front that take away the nervousness with their friendly conversation while making sure our vitals and hemoglobin are on point. Then we have our vein parents. YESSSSS, because they the phlebotomists know that our veins are *GOLD* ... Many donors have no problems with skinny, hidden veins, but my daughter and myself do not have perfect veins and therefore we have special people tha
They are chronically understaffed, multiple times ive been here when the line is at its longest and they only have one Lady processing people. Expect to wait at least an hour and a half before its your turn in line. Management seems innefecient and heavy handed towards its staff. The staff and Management may seem polite to guests but they do not seem like they want to work there and i don't blame them. The work culture seems bad.
Great staff, friendly and professional. I go twice a week and everyone is patient and make the process fun.
Staff is extremely friendly and facility is always nice and clean. I ask for Chevy and she is so amazing
Staff was amazing and very helpful . The only thing I did it like about my experience was a guy that has been there almost 9 years now and the hole time I was there one visit all he could do was curse. This is a professional business and should not be allowed other than this one employee was a good experience.
Donating plasma should be done by everyone healthy enough to do so!!! ?????? Smooth and easy process & you can make a few bucks while SAVING LIVES !! God bless this place and those who work here!! Thank you all for what you do!
I've been coming here for 6 years and They are always slow and always packed. They have 6 check in booths available and only have no more than 2 booths open max at any time. One out of the two people checking in donors will work on 3-4 donors then shut the booth down and walk away to do something else while the line is still full. 3 questionnaire kiosks but one is almost always out of service. The systems are always down. Front desk is almost always empty. Leaving new donors feeling lost. The people who dra
Nice staff. Pay is low. The staff is usually moving very slowly, taking their time getting people in and out so expect a very long wait. Some of them are great with the needle, some seem like beginners.
Severely understaffed. Employees are so buried in work that do not care about anything. They are nice and try but they are overworked. You wait hours for service. Some times they have 10 people waiting in line and only one pre-screen booth open.
Wait time was almost 5 hours. They were understaffed. Some were very rude. I passed out and was not told anything and when I came back they said I had to wait to be cleared by the doctor and he was not in that it would take a week or so. Lady stated that I should have been told but was not. It is very apparent that some of the staff need better training and people skills.
I had never donated plasma, and was very interested in how the process works. The BPL staff, particularly a stunningly beautiful Iranian/Ecuadorian woman named Nicole, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was articulated in a manner easy for me to understand, and my wait was as minimal as it possibly could have been. I would recommend this business to anyone who is eligible, and I intend to continue donating in perpetuity.
I appreciate the great treatment here at the center great staff make you feel right at home they are very fast and would make sure you keep on checking on you to make you everything goes good bless them ????
Don't bother calling (which I'm sure they are 100% ok with) Called multiple times, the phone will ring and no one will answer and eventually an automated system will tell you no one is available to take your call and hang up on you, if you happen to get lucky enough to get a hold of a person they will answer the phone exactly like this "Hello thank you for calling BPL Plasma, may I put you on a short hold?" after which, without waiting for a response they instantly put you on hold and forget about you, I wa
I would say it is the most mismanaged plasma donation centre I went to. For the first day it took me 5 hours to get off from the centre. For the second day I still have to wait for more than 35 minutes. BPL just deserve 1 star just for the payment.
Great staff and very friendly and will help you with whatever you need, but the ONLY thing I CAN NOT STAND is they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!! you call and call and CALL and nothing, I understand they can be busy but even in the early hours and when they're slow they still NEVER ANSWER. If they actually read these reviews PLEASE start answering the phone people cant always drive or walk to your location just to ask a simple question.
So far this is the best Plasma location I've been to. The staff are all friendly and professional?and the best part they know you by name and not just a number.
I was before in a donor in another plasma center and I came here (BPL plasma)because they was paying a little more. I can said I paid the price. First they were understaffed. Second every time you go to donate it takes like 4 hours, doesn't matter what time in the day you go. Also most of the staff are rude, and the worst is they pass ahead-other people that came later time. So disappointed ??
I just have to say..... I will ONLY come here. Now, just remember, you will see and hear ALL kinds of things, but if you have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE AAAAAND PATIENCE EVERY time you walk in then you will end up laughing because this place is a comic relief. Staff is knowledgeable on their skills. Now, Ofcourse there are some that are MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE then others, but all in all, Job well done to the ENTIRE STAFF. As I stated before..... Won't go anywhere else!!!
Jess stops taking new donors when she feels like she doesn't wanna work anymore, terrible supervisor and lazy as hell. Her coworker with the blonde hair and winged eyeliner literally describes her as always being sidetracked while I was in the booth with her. This place is useless.
Worst Nurses for sure ... they will screw you on the small pox. If they ever turn into a supermarket bank , I will deposit it in their mouth. My rating is ... Fook em
Don't bother coming, you'll be here all day. New donor nor returning. Slow or busy expect to spend 4+ hours here. And the management dense care they make you sign a paper so that you can't complain and pretty much letting you know you'll bee here all dang day. The staff is more interested in joking and playing with each other than actually getting people in and out. This is my last time donating here, I've seen better and this is not it!
Staff are always pleasant. They joke around with clients and make them feel welcomed
I thought the staff were great! I'm a new doner and they took me right in got me set up and were very friendly! Sometimes these things take time and patience! So I'd you don't have that stop complaining!! Let these folks do their job. Everybody's always in a rush! Thanks bpl for your friendly and professional service!!
Staff is Always Attentive, Been Coming Here For Years, Always Appreciate Everyone in There Acknowledgement and Care For Me At All Times, Place Feels Like Family to Me Pretty Much...
First time I came in the young lady was very rude that's why they lost one star. When I came in the second time they definitely redeemed themselves they were friendly and compassionate and understanding that it was my first time, I was very nervous. The gentleman was very gentle with the needle and my deep veins, as he put it. And bonus I knew one of the techs, a patron from me previous job. Gave me lots of advice and reassurance, I will definitely be coming back to BPL Plasma. Thank you guys!
The staff members are always friendly and caring. I never have to wait a long time to be seen.
The girls in front desk customer service all have attitude, seems like they hate their job and very unprofessional. Everyone else is great and has positive attitude. Girls in front should be retrained on basic professionalism.
This place is deserving of no stars. Just horrible experience. Not friendly and a bunch of bums in and out of this facility. The staff keeps you waiting with no indication when you will be seen next. My advise is to find a place that has a process in place to move patients along expeditiously. The staff has this "don't care" attitude. Again, save yourself and go elsewhere.
The Plasma Team especially Jessica the Team lead has been so great n show professionalism since I've been coming here since 2018... Keep up the great work Team Plasma!!
I'm a regular donor here. I donated 9 times last month. Probably not going to donate here after today. Advertise that it takes 1 1/2 hour for regular donor not anymore it took me 3 hours on Friday with at least 30 regular donors waiting while they took new donors first 6 new to 1 regular. So new donors get paid more than regular and waited on first ? Hmmm what's wrong with this picture?
Horrible experience. Very un-organized. I was there today 9/10 and no line in vitals,. Then when I get to area to give plasma there was only 4 people giving plasma. I asked and there was people that had been there for more than an hour. I was able to see the employee break room and there was many employee in there. No management visible. I will not be going back here
This use to be a great place to donate very quick and efficient. Now, they don't EVER have enough employees. It went from an hour wait to 3 hours, seems like pure greed to me, considering what I get paid and what THEY get paid! TOTALLY RIDICULOUS
The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable for my first time donating. They thoroughly went over everything I needed to know about the process which was very helpful. I'll definitely be back!
6:45a was supposed to open at 6a. 40 people or more standing in line waiting for them to open. People are inside on their computers like no regard for donors time or respect to say something to us. Acknowledging your donors and being respectful og them is important. Going to anothet Company since you can care less if you get plasma for your Center.
Jessica and my guy John plus a few others are the backbone of bpl I've been coming here for 7 years since I've moved to Florida and one thing for sure Two things for certain thru there ups and downs at that facility those guys remained consistent respectful and professional and I appreciate that and will continue to go there because of the comfortable space they provide
Yes, it was a long waiting procces hence the 4 and not 5 but for how little is staffed there I have never seen such a well working staff in a medical facility. absolutely great service, for people who dont know they will give you a debit card and that is there method of pay its a prepaid visa that every time you go in within 15-30 mins you will recieve payment. Like i said GREAT STAFF! I never saw a single person sit around for more than a min unless speaking with a client.
I have been coming to this facility for 3 months and I have to say I have never had a problem not one employee has ever been rude, inappropriate, or judgmental. But this review is about one in particular young lady her name is Ashley and she is the center supervisor correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway I donated like I always do and normally never have an issue with my funds not being on the card it's always there before I make it to my car. One of my most recent visits I left and the funds where not available f
Not really a big fan. We donate to help others. They Def like to refuse for stupid reasons. Some of the Staff is terrible and don't know how to poke the correct way. Also very rude. I've never been somewhere donating something and have been disrespected. BPL time to rehire your staff. Keep the good ones and forget the rest. There is a man with earrings guages. He is great. Promote him.
I'm a regular donor at Kedplasma Orlando, I Love it they're VERU Ethical and Friendly Jessy,Gorge,Carla are the Best in the Front and Back and Everyone on the back Wonderful Tean Player's ??????
This location is amazing. Staff is friendly makes your experience good. Daniel makes my day.
I went with proof of my social security and my license but they would not take my address even with the leasing form and my car insurance bill that proves my address. Incredibly ridiculous I have to spend close to an hour trying to prove I LIVE HERE. Imagine the people wanting to donate that don't have a place to stay and really NEED the money. As far as I'm concerned I've lost respect for this place completely. Huge waste of my time. If you're donating plasma there are so many better places around here, do
I've been loyal to this donation center for years now ?staff are always professional and friendly. No other place like it.
Like many others, I was enticed by the seemingly endless ads for plasma donation. I visited BPL to find out more. It didn't take long to realize their intake process appeared organized but was totally inefficient. I was there over 3 hours and did not donate. I was given some info, a debit card, a schedule, then a video among a host of other more intrusive procedures (fingerprints, photographs, a finger stick and even an examination of my arms for evidence of needle tracks, to name a few). After several
At first when i was told about plasma donation for money in an Orlando plasma center, i have to admit i was a bit skeptical. But after talking to the polite security officer who greeted me the moment i walked through the door i felt at ease. The staff was polite and made me feel very comfortable. If you are still on the fence about this, visit there website and read up a little bit on the subject. i was done and out the door in a couple minutes over an hour and was happy with a pocket full of cash :D
The staff at bpl has always been very open and inviting from the day I started going there which has almost been a complete year next month. I remember I hadn't been in a while and they reach out to me with a WE MISS YOU AND COME BACK SOON! I enjoy donating to save lives. Thank you bpl staff?????
Attempted to donate here since its close to home. Huge mistake. Got here at 6am right when they opened to ease the process and waiting times. Nope center horribly staffed. In 40mins my IDs and proof of residence were taken i was asked to be seated. No handbook, no video was setup for me to watch absolutely nothing was accomplished i left horribly short staffed when asked no valid answer was provided i left.
The staff at KED plasma Orlando is top notch. Everyone is always so friendly and makes me feel at home.
Rude intake staff as soon as I walked in! Totally understaffed had to wait for someone to get back from lunch to be helped! The entire facility looks very unclean! Completely unsatisfied with my visit here will never go back
This is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST place you can EVER pick to donate at. They have incompetent staff, which is putting it mildly. The clowns that they have working upfront, are no different from what you would find at the intersection for a homeless person with a sign. Long story short, I went to bio life on good Holmes rd. and actually found a professional clinic. And for you single lady's, they also have appointment day care. And more importantly they pay more, with a professional attitude.....
Excellent location with friendly professional staff. Always welcoming when I come in and happy to answer any questions.
There's only one person screening everytime I come when there are 6 booths available to do so. They leave you connected to the machines for 15 minutes after you've done donating to walk around. And plan on waiting 45 minutes after you've been screened to donate. The new process where they call out your name takes significantly longer than the Line to donate they used to have.
Staff is friendly/accommodating and the donation process is straightforward. My only issue is that the wait time could be shorter, but it's probably because they have a low staff count.
Sometimes it can be abit of a wait, but hey if ya don't have a day to donate or free time don't expect to be in and out. Sometimes I'm there in and out in 2hrs sometimes they're understaffed(just like a normal business) so it takes abit longer. The people are cool. Unless ya douche about it then ya treated as such(again like any other business). They make sure your comfortable and ask if anything is wrong. Ya gotta let them know if your uncomfortable when getting needled. Cause well they're not psychics du
Mildred is a great person who will laugh with you and make you feel welcomed. All the staff is very nice and willing to work with you if you have any problems. They will listen to you on the donor floor if you have a problem with scar tissue in your arm and go a different route before sticking you with the needle
All the staff are very nice enjoy going here since i started a couple weeks ago no issues
I don't donate, my fiance does. I came with him and witnessed some major unprofessionalism. A gentleman waiting in line was coughing and one of the ladies wiped down the kiosk he used (understandably so), to which he took offense and started calling her names. Instead of handling his negative demeanor in a professional manner, she proceeded to yell and cuss at him, dropping the F-bomb in front of a room full of people, telling him to shut up. Then continues to antagonize him about his attitude making snide
The staff is great but very slow, some of the workers in the front ignore you and pass by you when u need to ask a question like if you don't exist. Thanks to one spanish lady upfront with long black hair took the time to answer my question. Sorry I didn't get her name. After being there from 9:15 to 3 :30 being a return donor is rediculous. I didn't know it will take this long being a return donor. I could not go out to get something to eat, if not I would have to register all over again and I was starving
I went there with my daughter and while donating she started to get pail and the team was on point! Very alert very caring and as a Mom that truly blessed me! Thanks Bary, Adam, John John, and the EMT on that day 2/25/16 Go give blood people.... it a great cause!
The asian manager guy has the worst attitude of all. Not helpful, doesnt give u options, he simply dont care about the customers. Third time i wasted my time trying to donate there and there is always some burocratic ridiculous impediment. Besides, the process can take from around 2-4 hours and according to what i read there is 25$ the first time, so, 4 hours of my time for 25 dollars is not worth it. Save your time and patience en go somewhere else that treats you better, that would be my advice
Today is my first donation the intake staff nichole was amazing, Very friendly, and respectful. The phlebotomist Brittany was friendly and knew what she was doing. The staff and program has changed since my last visit in 2016 (stopped coming because of old staff). I will now donate again since the change is positive. Big thanks to BPL alafaya....
This place is always clean and super friendly staff they always make sure everything is great in the process.
Areb is THE BEST! I found the one phlebotomist that can actually stick me, great center, great people, highly skilled!
This BPL Plasma location was super clean and everyone was friendly & professional! The process was simple and quick.
Nice , clean facility, but by far the least efficient in the area. Most of the staff are good, but a few are awful. May be operator error, but I don't see on app where to find info on my payouts or next donation.
Every staff member was incredibly friendly, reassuring, and accomadating - the only reason im not giving 5 stars is simply because unfortunately i was unable to donate today due to too small of veins and its a damper on an otherwise great new experience. However, I plan to come here again when im ready to donate again.
The workers are very nice welcoming and make me feel safe while I'm here
Easily one of the worst plasma centers I've been to, by a large margin. The people who stick you are competent, but the staff up front who signs new donors and perform the health screenings are awful. Terrible attitudes, no interest in helping you or answering questions, and every time they take my temp, they obnoxiously jam it in my mouth with no warning or regard. I've also been given bad information over the phone a number of times, causing me to make several wasted trips.
This plasma center is overall the worst in orlando, and they are ghetto, and slow. I sat for 40min before they even started pulling my file and then it took them 2hrs to do my vitals and a physical. And still sitting for another hour. I can wait to see them go out of business, all other plasma centers in the area are much cleaner and faster and they even offer you water to drink so u don't pass out on the way home.. I hate this center and I do not recommend it to anyone not even myself cause I will never be
Was lied to, I am a new donar and was told I would get $100 but then when I'm done I get told only 60. Not happy. Felt like they didn't want me there. Or like I was putting them out
Staff was nice quick and thorough. Especially Joe, he helped me through the whole process. That guy definitely deserves a raise. Bpl's best. Thanks bpl and Joe :)
Large waiting area. Clean. Sterile. Polite and courteous staff. First time donors plan on being there all day. It takes a while. Waiting area is cool bring a jacket or blanket. TV's in the waiting area , also wall outlets so bring your phone charger! Bring ID and SS card. ID must have current address or else you will need to provide a DATED piece of mail from within the past 30 days. Most IMPORTANTLY : drink plenty of water the day BEFORE (like a gallon) and eat a healthy meal before you go. Its a good
If I went by the reviews I read here, I would never have gone to BPL Plasma. Glad I went before I read them. Remember that a lot of the time the attitude you have is the attitude you get in return from people. So if you go in with a chip on your shoulder expecting things to go South, then guess what? You get what you project. Donating plasma is NOT the same as donating full blood. You are hooked up the same and the full blood is removed from your body the same, but that is where the similarities stop. In
3 hours to get to the physical exam. Have been to other Plasma centers and been done out the door in 2.5 hours at the initial visit. Follow up visits about 1.5 hours with other Plasma centers. The staff are nice & who cares if you go in & waste a lot of time. My advice; go somewhere else, the end result will be better & time won't be wasted.
Service suck, there not on time with appointments. They don't respect your time frame, as we suppose to follow theres. They do not care about your time. workers are mad with there job and sticking people wrongly. make you wait four hours and no snack for energy, which cause to faint and dizziness
Nice place, been coming here for over a year now. Staff is nice. sometimes it can get busy and you have to wait for a long time though.
They slow as hell.. Some of the staff on the floor very very Unprofessional talking about other ppl. And then try to stick you with a needle while talking to a Co worker and I'm in the medical field and let me tell you if you was any medical facility doing that the whole staff. will be fired and they will bring in ppl who are professional.. They really need to Clean house and get all those ghetto ppl out of there.
I have been told a weird thing by a weird white employee with red hair while I was on bed, not to cross my legs while donating. I ask her why and she din't know the answer . . . and call her supervisor so she can explain me better. There was other people with their legs crossed but she only wanted me to open my legs, wonder why ;)
Completely unprofessional staff. Treat people like less than people and inconsiderate of your time. Will not recommend absolutely terrible service long waits on everything and pays the least out of all plasma donation centers. Understaffed
I have started going to this plasma center. Such a great place to donate staff are friendly shout out to Daryn. she does a wonderful job and is very nice to everyone I will continue coming here thumbs up.
Walked out after an hour + of waiting on the bed to be sticked. My sister and I were sitting in the order we arrived as usual. It started to rain so they moved our seats due to a leak in the ceiling. After they moved us, several people who came in after us were being sticked before us. Mike, who btw is my favorite employee, noticed and told The curly headed spanish lady that my sister and I were next to which she yelled we weren't, she proceeded to take the gentle man whom walked in to The kiosk when my sis
They were so ready Leave. The lady asked me if I wanted to be pricked first or go straight to the doner floor. Isn't there a process? I've never been asked that in a "professional" environment. Plus they were rude!
Extremely slow, i understand there are a lot of people that come thru here on a daily basis, but when you to the donor floor, there is 30 empty chairs but yet people still waiting 2 to 3 hours just to be seen. I'm currently here now on the floor and I've been in the chair for nearly 25 minutes. I've watched 6 people come and sit down after me and they've already been stuck and began to donate but here I sit waiting patiently. This will be the last time I come here. Biotest plasma on discover drive is a much
Horrible horrible service I was the first one in, with no one else on sight. It happened few months since my last donation so I had to get a rephysical only problem was that they were extremely slow, they took their time and the doctor was in the back Eating food while people start to come up I've been waiting for 3 hours while people fly by...and this isn't my first damn time this issue has occurred I haven't donated so long because of the same problem before, YOU GUYS HAVE AN EFFICIENCY PROBLEM!!!! DONT w
Awesome staff. Great environment. Never a long line , In and out process.
I love this Plasma donation center, with just a super welcoming staff and super patient with you and your donation, and very clean environment, highly recommended you donate plasma here for all those reasons and you get paid the minute you are done donating.
Ive been coming here for 5 yrs never had issues great service and great atmosphere
New staff was very friendly and helpful on my first visit. I learned some things about the processes that they use there. Thank you very much. Will definitely be back to donate again. Joseph Callet
If you're interested in donating for the right reasons money should not be a primary question. The benefits are crucial. Your donation could save thousands and will be important in the ongoing research to help aid in finding cures for....who knows, yourself, your family members....
From years ago when i went and it was called DCI it definitely inproved with cleanliness and speed. I was in and out withing 3 hours compared to first time i went years ago it was 8 hours. Staff was nice too!
Dont ever ever eeeeevvvveeeer in life come to this place expecting to get out in a timely fashion. Your time is NOT of the essence. Everyone will lolligag and smart about the room and your still sitting there 3 hours later. Everyone likes to run to disconnect patients and will put off connecting new patients as long as possible then run off to do something new asap. Other donors will arrive after you and they're not considerate enough to think that you've probably already been there 3+ hours and most people
this is literally the worst place to donate ever. every time i come there is another thing they did wrong that i have to sit for hours and wait for them to fix. absolute waste of time and they are the worst. i would recommend going anywhere else with your time.
Great service ,great staff !! Abigail and Matt will make sure your taken care of. And the rest of the staff too...(just dont know everyone's name) staff is great the is some donors that are a lil shady and rude but you are taken care of with class and respect always
Quick professional and take much better care of it's guests than most other places I've donated at
Matthew Robinson was the nicest and most informative tech I've had, he's provided me with helpful tips to make my experience smooth. BPL is lucky to have him.
I had went there Saturday left and came out to find out they didn't even pay me at all. I been calling them none stop n no one answer. The first time I went they shorted me $15 and I had to wait for them to give it to me. I still didn't get my pay for Saturday.
The owner isn't even smart enough to answer a reply, a comment with a specific answer or solution. So, this company represented by some unknown owner has the same comment for every negative response, further showing their lack of concern for real.people, with real ideas, thoughts and feelings. They make Zero efforts to improve their customer service. I stopped in recently and do to their lack of staff, they switched over to appoinents for New comers. No matter how much they pay, unless it was $700 a mon
Pretty quick process each time i go & the workers are really nice!
I appreciate every single one at Bpl, the Crew make the experience easier and the clean environment give you a "it's safe" sensation. I'm glad to belong to Bpl family!??
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Staff members are unaware of their own policies. There will be a line of people, and only one person at the window taking in donors. Yet employees talking in the corner with each other. Just ridiculous. I drove an hour to get here only to be turned away because staff members didn't tell me on my previous donation when I could come back next. Unprofessional. Will not be returning. I really recommend Biomat Plasma near Millenia.
Awesome way to waste a couple of hours. Just left there after wasting 3 hours to get a physical, just to be told that I can't even donate because my throat was inflamed but there was no prior warning saying I couldn't if something like that came up. Would not suggest to anyone and definitely not coming back
The worst place ever very unprofessional. They don't inform people of policy changes until you take your vitals. I.e how much you are supposed to weigh in order to donate.you never get your money on time. The employee play around too much.they don't know how stick people tgey leave the facility all bruised up...Also will not let you donate if leave the facility after getting your vitals. There are signs but you realy have to look for them because the are hidden. We as donors don't have time to waste wit
I look forward to seeing miss Daphne. You're so kind and Caring .ver.y social and concerned.thank you.
I called before I drove 50 mins here to double check on the documents I needed to help our people with my Plasma. When I get here with my only piece of mail with my current address as I just relocated. He denies me because my post mark didn't say it was February 22 of 2017. It only had the 22nd in numbers no month. Clearly that meant it was Feb 22nd of 2017. Otherwise it would've indicated the month and year on it. I was born right here in Florida in Titusville. And was denied for a piece of mail, that clea
I've been donating here for years before they changed to ked plasma and never had a problem they have great service and are very friendly
BPL Plasma is an absolutely wonderful team of people. They go out of their way with customer service and I enjoy my donation sessions every week. I return for the people, they're awesome.
Don't ever go to the BPL Plasma on colonial, they Make you waste your time being there for hours and not even attending you. And at the end of the day they didn't even pay me, they said I have to wait a couple hours. There low on staff and do a horrible job.
I don't know why the bad reviews. I've been coming to this plasma center for 4 years all the staff are great. But alot of the people that donate here have no patience and are rude to the staff. Note to all people that wants to donate not all people have soft or light hands so don't complain.
I love Kedplasma, the staff is very friendly. The facility is clean and the rewards are super. Thank you for everything
Everyone on the floor is easy going, friendly attentive and professional...and they all get a raise
Experience is never bad really. All the staff i came in contact are awesome HOWEVER, it would be nice if you UPPED THE DONATION AMOUNT. INSTEAD OF $25 MAKE IT $35 INSTEAD OF $40 MAKE IT $60 AND MAKE IT FOR DONORS WHO BEEN GOING THERE 6 MONTHS OR LONGER .. 1. KEEPS DONATORS COMING BACK 2. GETS PEOPLE TO STAY 3.GETS NEW DONORS. YEA 50 THE FIRST FIVE TIMES IS GREAT BUT AFTER THAT $40 THEN $25 ? *GET MORE HELP ON THE FLOOR OR WINDOWS WHEN IT GETS BUSY (IT'S ALOT OF US AND ONLY A FEW OF THEM . THE QUICKER YOU GE
Staff is very friendly and professional. The wait time is nonexistent and building is very clean.
Get the QR scanner fixed. Will keep adding one stars and encouraging others to do so.
Everyone here is always kind, the phlebotomists know what they're doing, building is clean, with short wait times
BPL plasma is a wonderful place to donate plasma the staff are very nice and friendly and overall once you get signed up the process goes by pretty quickly but sometimes the staff can move on their own pace which is not professional also some people should not B signed up to stick you with a needle because not everyone has steady hands but other than that overall everything else is pretty well
Morgan's the best decision I got and they're awesome place they're good people
quick and easy way to make money. the staff is pretty chill and easy to get along with
These people are unbelievably slow. If you go there regardless of whether its your first time or not be prepared to be there for at least 3 hours. It doesn't even matter what day or time you go. My time and blood is worth way more than a couple dollars.
Brittany was the best her hands are so talented she touched me softly as she inserted the Syringe in me I was so satisfied by the amount of Plasma that came out of me! Thanks BPL for having such a great staff??
Worst plasma center! The process took over 4 hours as a new donor and the place was dead! Literally 15 ppl! The management holds the highest ranking for being lazy and then the other staff follow right under so of course this place is not very efficient. If the leaders are sloppy and unorganized the team is gonna fall right under!
This is a Great Plasma Donation Center. MIKE and ERIC is my Favorite plasma directors. MIKE is so Nice,Helpful,Funny and does his job fast also with great communication skills to and always making someones day and that smile is on point. Eric is Nice,Helpful,Great Communication Skills/Work skills he does his job fast he gets you in and out of the plasma process.
I love the staff but Yami rocks I love her spirit ?? ??
It was a little busy due to the time of day I went, but once I got registered everything was smoothly and moved quickly. Overall Great experience.
Love Jessie! Very professional, quick, and a total sweetheart
Do you even give a star to these people who literally made a woman who could not speak english but could read and write and undertand the language feel terrible where she was almost in tears. Telling her this was not a spanish speaking center the only one was in Texas? This location which is on E. Colonial Orlando FL where the majority of the donors are minorities and have spanish donors? wait some of the staff speaks spanish as well. DISGUSTING to witness such an act. In this world that is already full of
Wanted to be a new donor, but ended up walking out! Waited two hours without any service! Was told 4 people were in front of me, But counted 6 before I left!
I love this place..... Ive been donating for over 2 years and the staff is amazing..... Shout out to Mike Moore, John John, Matt, Eric, Jessica, Coleen, cybil, mildred and the rest of the crew for always making it fun n a pleasure to help ppl in need. Much love guys ?
Literally waited 4 hours from 10:30am to get the PHYSICAL. I'm a new donor, and thought they had priority. Every time I would ask the waiting time they would give a short relevancy time which is a lie. One of the workers said I was next in 15 minutes... 1 hour went by.
Everybody at bpl are excellent service. Everybody talking while everyone are on point.
Very nice staff but the process could be a lot faster. Pretty disorganized and staff walk around like they are in a zone
VETERANS- Earn $600.00 a month or $75.00 per visit because you've been vaccinated in the military with the SMALLPOX Vaccination. Pretty efficient plasma center in comparison to others. Let them know Joseph Richardson sent ya!
I have to do a lot of traveling to get to this side but it's all worth it with the great staff and the payout Ked Plasma is the best.
Clean and Great environment , workers are so outgoing and nice. I had nicole do my physical and questions she was great and helped me solve a delimma .
Go somewhere else. The new staff here only cares about themselves and having fun. They do not value your time at all
Very professional staff, Nicole did my intake, and was very knowledgeable in answering all of my concerns, Abigail is a stellar phlebotomist, who is extremely professional as well as being aesthetically appealing.
Today I went to a unit close to home to register as a plasma donor, but it was not possible, the employee said that because they had no fluency in English, registration would not be possible. Perhaps your biography or website should have this information: We are not able to care for those who do not speak English fluently. My husband offered to do the translation, but it still wasn't possible. Totally meaningless, the BPL Plasma site has Spanish translation, but no one in the unit to answer that speaks S
Staff is always pleasant and professional very clean Center
Nicole smoothed the process out after waiting as a new donor... she was very kind and relatable...and once i got on the donor floor Matthew was right behind her by keeping me cracking up instead of being nervous about being pricked by that needle ( which did not hurt at all by the way) the two of them improved my visit and I will definitely be back!!
Best plasma center I've ever been to.. All the workers are very professional and the facility is very clean?
Edit: Nothing personal against the employees, they were always kind and accommodating, however, the business itself seems to not really care about its employees or donors as much as competing donation centers. My recommendation to BPL and get the promo payout then swap to Grifols for a permanent donation home.
Great place with Great friendly people. Also a great way to pay a bill or 2!
Been with ked plasma since it was bio plasma the employees are great have no problems would recommend others
Morgan is awesome. She's patient, kind and is always hard working.
I love coming here the staff is amazing and sweet especially Daniel
I don't like to be misinformed. Call before you go in and confirm new donors pay. On the website it's $150 when you arrive it's $75. I wasn't able to do it.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
