I got an email saying they were doing 750$ for 8 donations if I donate by June 1st. I haven't had great experiences here before but I thought maybe things have changed. So I made an appointment to return to donate after 2 years and it's worse than before. The staff is unfriendly & doesn't want to be there. The security guard is a sweetheart and much nicer than the staff. It seems like they have a problem there as I saw over 15 people waiting around to be stuck or even get checked & people complaining about
How do you show us for an appointment for 8:30am and it takes you 2 hours to get screened????? The staff doesn't call any donors for over an hour and the donor floor has on 2 donors donating! Please MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE!!!! Terrible! They need to hire more help! Security is ok but very consistent about the whole musical chair thing! Very aggravating!
plasma donation is a billion dollar industry. now think of the crumbs these centers pay you. legally, it shouldn't even classified as "donation". it is a form of labor. people don't donate to save lives, they do it to pay bills. the overwhelming majority of donors are poor and homeless. a more fair payment taken into account what these centers make would be $100-300 per donation. plasma is liquid gold. if all donations ceased overnight, billions would be lost and people will die. but these centers treat you
WORST plasma center I ever been to. This was suppose to be my second vist. I woke up at 5 A.M to be one of the first ones there. I was not aware that you had to make an appointment I thought it was like other plasma centers first come first serve. I was trying to explain that to the security guard that when I did my questionnaire it didn't ask me to request a time. Another plasma donor tried to help me( thank u to him) In addition to us trying to figure out what I did wrong because I had the QR CODE just n
Since I'm seeing all the bad reviews, I might as well add my experience. I tried to return a few months ago. I use to come when it was Biotest. I waited almost 30 minutes before the lady took me around to the screener to check my veins. I said "MY LEFT ARM IS MY BEST ARM TO DONATE" The nasty screener said well both arms need to be good. I said I didn't say my right was not good and I repeated what I said. She tied the rubber band around my right arm, quickly looked at my arm and told me you can't donate be
This is literally the WORST donation center in Florida. The employees suck. They sit around as long lines of waiting people gather. They always have call outs but no hiring sign and 1 person screening when it's 10 people waiting. Always dirty. They have you to sit on chairs still wet with Clorox. The floor had blood on it last time I went. They also disconnected a machine and the person next to me blood got on my hand. Anytime you go it? will take 2+ hours. Literally a HORRIBLE FACILITY.
Most plasma centers are the same : It is usually a bunch of people who don't have jobs complaining about how other people should work. What about the donors who sit on their phone's playing instead of pumping when they should be " NO FLOW "or falling a sleeping. They shouldn't allow cell phones while donating, because for some odd reason squeezing your hand together and watching your phone at the same time seems to be an impossible task for most. If you don't have a ball or some other firm item to squeeze
Lack of customer service, the staff here are the worst I've come across. Machines constantly out of service, lose internet, when is time to get paid had to wait bout an hour for internet to come online. WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS, yup make an appointment and you aren't seen til 2 hours later! People that stick you, no bedside manners. You better going to CSL, Octapharma, Hemapharma (not sure of the name) located 2700nw 79st in the shopping center. I could I give this place negative -5. Avoid phlebotomist Leo,
This place is a joke I've had my tattoos for over 5 years and haven't got one since then i donate at octapharma with no problems I tried to go here and they denied me for have to many tattoos and said its a new rule that you have to have space between tattoos thats a joke all other center are fine and I can donate just fine there smh well I won't be coming back and you can call all you want no one will answer they lost a new donor and a regular donor for there new rule dont waste your time go to octapharma
Well I don't even know where to start, anyway my husband had to take a protein test and had been back to see what the results were and was told to call before you come back So he's been calling for the last 2 days and still gotten no answer so today we both went back to grifols and sat in the front waiting to see someone and I was also calling while sitting in the lobby and still no one came to the front (waiting for an hour) like this is crazy work Are you guys hiring because I can work the front desk as a
Worst customer service ever, machines are always with an issue, them machines have never internet and they take a long time to pay people after donating... The staff unprofessional starting from Joe ''Supervisor Manager" to Dania the floor phlebotomist supervisor the s place is a joke. You want to help by donating recommend any other place. This phlebotomist Leo, rude avoid at all cost!
The waiting time is ridiculous ?????????? What is the point of scheduling an appointment when you get seen past your appointment time. You spend more time waiting than anything. Then they always have empty beds instead of filling up all the beds. Management here sucks and can care less. We are doing your company a favor treatment your clients better!!!
As a new donor Grifols Treated me exceptionally well from start to finish. I want to give a special shoutout to Rose who was very polite & professional.
When I first started going it was quick and easy, they seemed to have plenty of staff and constantly getting people moving. However now, it takes them over an hour just to get me started, every donation shouldn't take 2 hours now when just a few months ago it took under an hour for returning donors. Update: They got new machines and now the whole process is taking 3+ hours, the new machines are significantly slower and no one is comfortable with using them
Wow, this is the best place I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. The staff is simply phenomenal. They offer a wide range of programs and various giveaways, and the compensation is better than almost all, if not all, of the places I've been in the past. Joe is the best. He's incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his patients. He doesn't just treat them like numbers. I highly recommend giving it a try. And if you're nervous about needles, don't worry. They have the best staf
The staff here is great, with the exception of one lady but there is always one. Now the new machines are freaking horrible!!!! Went last week for the first time on the new machine, it took me 25 minutes to pump on the old ones, it took me 1 hour 20 minutes on the "new" machine. It kept messing up then blew my vein. The HUGE nasty bruise on my arm looks scary. I was beyond upset!!! As much as I want to come back here, I don't know if I will. PLEASE bring the old machines back. Even the staff complains about
Wish this update was positive: been here an hour and 20 min. Made it through the screening part. Now waiting to get hooked up. 9 people before me. Now 13 people waiting to get hooked up. God knows how many hours this could take. This could very well be my last time. New update: Short staffed. Some things don't change. Last time I was here I had to leave, it would have been 2 hours plus before I might have been finished. Today 10 people before me. .Update: since I've gone back, things have significantly chan
I just had the worst experience of my life, I made the appointment for today last friday morning for today and the earliest available time it was at 8:45am, since is my only day off and I wanted to take advantage of the rest of today I showed up by 6:30am knowing they'll open by 7am. I was the first one at that clinic then I notice that only around 7 to 9 people showed up after me for their 7am appointment. I was told by the security guard that his supervisor will not let me in even if I showed up at 5am. I
I normally like coming here and i have twice a week for over a year, but a recent change in equipment has thrown everything into chaos. Now what used to be on average a 1 hour and a half appointment (walking in to walking out) is a multi-hour slog even early on in the morning. Unless you have 4 hours to kill, go donate somewhere else until they get their act together. Addendum: they've made no improvements to their scheduling and system since and all the convenience is completely out the door. Don't bother
The organization of this facility is appalling, matched only by the poor attitude of the staff, including the managers. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident; the negative experiences were frequent and consistent, ultimately leading me to switch centers. Definitely, I DO NOT recommend this place.
It used to be good until this passed week now it's about 2-3 hrs every time . Don't know what's going on. Understaffed...
I have been coming here for a long time never had a bad experience Yozy and Dania and all the staff have always been fabulous in Customer Service and assisting with any questions ect?.. Today I had the worst experience with Nelvis as I asked her a question and she yelled at me first of all k didn't understand her all I understood was ?I don't know? first of all as a nurse in the nursing field myself the answer I don't know is totally unacceptable a professional would say I'm not sure but I will find out spe
I tried not to do this but this is ridiculous. The head Dr is gonna be on the side of the slowest employees I've ever seen at any plasma place. On average I'm getting stuck a hour after appointment time with no one really working. It's absolutely no sense of urgency or regards to anyone?s time. A whole unit is empty with 4 ppl on the floor and had to wait over 30minutes for my name to be called the. This whole staff including the head doctor needs to be replaced and I need a number to communicate this to an
Great customer service with a quick and easy donating process. I highly recommend! It's a great way to keep up with your health, help others and make some extra money. Tell them Terrance Scott sent you, last four digits 9486.
Very nice staff and amazing security guard Rick (unc). They try and get you out as quick as possible and treat you like family.
I have a 10:15 appointment and it is now 11:00. I have been screened and sitting in th back for 45 minutes and they have not stuck a single person.
the slowest Plasma center ever , they are so disorganized . Every time I try to donate I sit in the waiting area for at least 2-4 hours waiting just to DONATE . The phlebotomist people they have are not trained to work in a busy environment. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL
This place has gone down hill really bad , I was trying to be a return customer after not donating there for more the 6 months and was told I needed to take a blood test and wait a week for the results to come in well after a week I was told I needs to wait another week so I go back after waiting another week I was told 2 days ago that they didn't have a doctor or nurse on the premises they said come back Sunday or money , I go back today , they send me to the back to see the nurse she tells me oh your goin
Bottom line: If they haven't closed down yet, they have been acting like they are on the verge for several months and employees are going to be just as surprised as donors to find the place closed Some of the clearer indications that you might just waste your trip over there: * Reducing their hours, closing at 6:00 which is as bad as CSL and leaves Octaplasma with the most convenient hours. * Decline in payments at a rate of about $20 per month which has been going for over a year and now lowest against
Terrible service. They let me schedule an appointment for 6:30 pm. Then when I come in they sent me away because the nurse had 2 persons in line and the nurse cannot work past 7 pm. What is that why even make the appointment. At my job if customer is there before we close I must still serve them
Make an appointment to stand in a line for a hour+. Makes no sense at all. The time doesn't match the pay.
Out of the places that I've donated plasma in my life this is the worst. Staff is lazy. They are just chillen while you have 6 people waiting. What is the point of making an appointment if then? It's funny because they walk around looking at you and act as if you're not there. I brought in a new donor and they didn't have anyone to help him. What a disgrace?. Also referred a friend and and never got paid. When I asked manager for help he said he was busy and didn't have time for me. What a bunch of unprofes
So many bad things to say about this place, first time I went it took me 4 hrs until I get to the physical exam, I had to leave without donating because even after planing 4 hrs in advance wasn't enough, nevertheless the place was empty nobody in line, and they had the nerve to skip me over another new patient that came after me because I wasn't black, I felt discriminated and had to go after loosing my entire morning from 8:30 am till 1:00 pm, with a full staffed place they just give an impression that the
I don't get it, today the lady said I had good veins on the right of my arm, but the other ladies said I cannot donate, I'm so confused I've donated at other blood donation and they had no issue letting me donate. All because of my tattoo?, I had high hopes. There's other people who probably donated with a tattoo, I had one vein on the left that was yellow and the other on the right that's green. But I cannot donate? What's the reason? Why can I not donate?
I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Dania, Aracely, and Adriana for their professionalism and quick service in working as team. They were well organized and ready to take on the donors: no side chit chat among each other. They worked extremely well together and you could sense that their goal was to get the donors in and out as quickly as possible. Hats off to these three workers and to management for finally achieving STELLAR customer service. Please keep these three together because if I could have g
Look elsewhere guys. I would give a 0 if I could. This is what happens when people from Miami start coming to Broward. I find this company extremely unprofessional and disorganized. And besides, thanks to a free market economy,we have choices. And other centers pay more. (ITM pays $75 per visit) First of all they never answer the phone. And I could have avoided the one hour drive from Miami. The lady at the desk has no mental capacity or people skils. I presented my driver's license along with my official s
Waited nearly an hour to be told to come back .... It takes me 30 minutes to donate..... A total lack or respect for peoples time . Workers asking me what's going on as if I work there. Nothing was explained just come back with a stern attitude like I'm a child. If something wasn't done someone's not doing there job .... Lost for words .... 5-10 people went ahead no explanation just left to sit and waste time .
This my gf email. But you can tell the workers are trying their best. I waited for hours being ignored in the lobby. But this short manager Sarah helped me breeze by in like 10 minutes when she walked up. I can see why it took so long though because she was helping in a lot of places going back and forth the whole time I was there. Everyone calls her small manager there which is kind of funny. She went and got another manager named Anika for help as well. Once they got up front things started moving fas
This center has extremely bad management. Almost next to none, there is a guy named Joe who is the supposed manager who does nothing but sit in his office and say that hes working. Meanwhile, the entire staff doesn't know what they're doing. and lacks bedside manner/ time management. There is constantly rooms full of people. And it takes over 3 hours to collect plasma. Even though I literally do the kiosk on my phone and check myself in!??? The only thing that they have to do is take a blood sample, my wei
You can't reach anyone by phone. It says walk ins from 11 am. We drove 45 minutes and arrived at 11:15. We were greeted by Joseph who pulled out. A sheet that had 9 appointments on it and said they were closing at 4 and could not take us that we needed an appointment. I advised you can't make an appointment online he replied yep. That is correct your first time you get a registration number and will be able to after that. They don't have anyone to answer the phone. There was no one waiting like there i
I've been coming to plasma for about three years. As long as I've been coming to plasma I've been greeted well and treated like a family member. The staff and employees are the kindest people I've met. Thank you Joe, Eva, Rosa for being so king and friendly
This place is a joke! First time I went in the late morning, sat in the reception area for over an hour before someone told me the wait would be another 3 hours to get through the first time donor process then another 30-45 minutes to donate. I decided to come back another time when they were less busy. I returned this morning. Enter the center, waited for 15 minutes before the staff (other than security who announced my arrival), even acknowledged my presence. However several staff members were chatting an
These reviews for the Hollywood Florida Griffols center are very discouraging. I used Grifols in Ft Worth Texas 5629 W Rosedale St 76107. This center is what a plasma center should be like and I've been to several different companies. Every single person there are professional, attentive and actually loving towards each other (staff) and their donors. I've never seen so much as a frown there. I am so sorry to have to choose another location to use. I hope and pray that the issues in the reviews have been ad
Awesome awesome place to donate. Professional, clean, friendly really changes the dynamics of what a plasma center has a reputation of. Best company in town you must try them. Phlebotomist, Nurses, Management, screeners even the security guards. A(+++)
The new machines were a very bad purchase! They actually prolong donation times. The workers on the floor are either great or lazy and incompetent; leaving the good worker to work harder. Don't know what has happened with this place but you definitely can sense a change in the atmosphere. Take better care of your employees especially the veterans workers and the hard workers! Get rid of the paycheck collectors. And, I don't know what the use of appointments are because I see people go ahead of me all of
I like this place way better than csl or octopharna. The other plasma places are ghetto af. At least here if someone starts acting crazy they deal with it so the other customers dont feel uncomfortable/unsafe. The tall lightskin manager she dose not play that acting crazy stuff at all. She looks really mean but shes always been very helpful when me or my man need help with anything. The wait is pretty long like the other reviews mention and they should definitely hire more people. The workers seem overworke
When I first came to donate I was told I would receive 100 the first four times after that it would be 50. However, I went today and only got 50 .. called the place multiple times and no one answered the phone. So of course I had to spent gas and drive back to the location and I spoke with a manager I explained to her the situation, she stated she will give me the 50 plus.. check my card it's been hours still haven't received the other 50. Manager also told me that it will only be 50 moving forward even th
I think arriving at 3pm with a new patient appointment scheduled and leaving past closing (8pm) is ridiculous.. They have no one at the front desk ever and it's a pain to reach them through the phone. The workers are quite disrespectful too, on the phone with airpods in during the entire vitals process..? The only thing that makes this place worth it is the security guard up front and the short curly haired worker
Been calling for a week NO ONE EVER answers the phone. I'm NOT driving from Deerfield until I KNOW how much NEW DONORS are getting paid. SMMFH??
I liked this Place until I got a lower pay than they promised 2 times. The second donation is supposed to be 75. Then I ask the security guard for help, and he's just rude . Way out of line told me he doesn't give '$%' this is a business transaction, etc. Also, this time, the donation was so painful that my arm was hurting a lot. Im like, ykno, what is this worth it? . I am extremely tolerant of how this place is, and that was the last straw. Honestly, you dont need to donate plasma here. Just go to a p
This place is the worst. Ever since the new owners. They made it so much more uncomfortable so much so that they lost half their donors and more than half their staff. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Was told she would be out in about 15 minutes. Once she came out she didn't even greet any of the donors nor did she come to find out who what when or where. The big bosses are all rude as hell
I would never recommend coming here. Staff is very rude and passive aggressive. System changed a few months ago and the process for applicants already in the system is frustrating. You have to wait in the lobby for over 15 minutes even if you are on time for your appointment. This place is a joke and you will end up spending at least 2 hours just waiting.
DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! The staff could care less about you! The Asian nurse was one of rudest people I've ever met turning away patients just because they close soon, But what's the point of having an appointment system if you're not going to follow it! The woman told me usually it's okay for them to retest a patient but they're trying to go home so home back tomorrow like people just have a open availability! Ghetto, dirty, unorganized, facility never coming back here, all of the workers look like t
Every time I come here is such a bad experience they can't invest in soap in their bathrooms and they can't invest in blood pressure pumps that work for plus size
Had an appointment at 1030am it's already 2pm and haven't even had my physical yet. Is it busy?? Nope. One person getting blood taken while the 10 other people are still just waiting. When you look around the workers are just hanging out talking and laughing. Haven't seen anyone actually work in over an hour. Avoid this place. 10 workers at 2:11 pm and nobody is working just hanging out laughing and playing on Instagram. Must be nice to get paid not to work and waste everyone's time.
I dread Everytime I have to come here. I am currently out of work and am forced to have to come here for a few petty dollars. The problem with this center is not the people. It's whoever is running it. In other centers it takes 2 to 3 hours max even when it's packed. Here it's ALWAYS the same doesn't matter at what time you come it's 3 to 5 hours sometimes 6. Griffols dosent care about saving life's. They capitalize on low income people paying them basically nothing for their plasma which griffols makes tho
I stopped donating over a year ago because of how disorganized this place was but after MONTHS of emails urging me to come back that i qualify for ?special compensation? I finally decided ok let me give them another try. Only to get there & do the whole ?pre-screening? process for the lady to very rudely tell me ?oh yea they just send you that to get you back in here, we don't actually offer any of what that email says? She talked to me like I was one of the other junkies in there hoping to a couple dollar
this place is a joke. octapharma gets you in and out in like an hour, even in their busiest day. maybe they should get some tips from them. At Octa there will be literally 3 workers and you're still not waiting an hour plus to even start donating. Here you have 2 taking vitals and like 3 or 4 phlebotomists in the back and it still takes a whole almost 2 hour process. I shouldn't be having my whole afternoon screwed over because they want to be slow.
They never answer the phones. They said it's cause they might be busy in the booth with someone. But there are times I see employees just standing there talking. Most of the front desk girls are nice. But some of the girls in the donating room are a completely different story. They don't communicate with you, they ignore you, and God forbid you have a question. One time after donating, I told the girl (I think it was Gennie) I needed to use the restroom and asked if she could wrap me up first so I can go. S
This place is extremely understand unprofessional and inadequate in every possible way the entire Administration needs to be replaced I tried speaking to Administration and they pushed it off like they know everything but still is taking 3 hours for the average patient to get in and be seen it takes about 30 minutes at CSL Plaza to get in and be seen it's absolutely ridiculous I wouldn't go there again if you paid me $300 is such a waste of time. In addition to that they require appointments which is a stup
I am a new donor & referred my cousin who provided my information as a the referred donor. Upon my cousins second donation I also donated the same day & after donating I received my donation fee but did not receive my referral bonus. It was late evening & no manager was available to fix the situation. I called back the next day & no one answered the phone all day & I left messages. I visited the location the next morning to speak w/staff about the donation bonus. Someone who said they were a manager came to
This place could operate so smoothly if it wasn't so understaffed. I wish they cared to make the experience easier for donors and nurses. The wait here is disrespectful, they even make you make an appointment, but be prepared to wait 3-4 hours?EVERY TIME
Christy the nurse, is very nice and have a great customer service and personality make aroma very comfortable in the environment!
The pay is really good for first time donors...but I don't know my donor ID and i have to make appointments to donate...tried calling to see what is my ID number and no one answers so now I can't donate again without that number. Edited 10/11/23 This is by far the slowest plasma donation center and the most complicated. They do not do walk-ins and where CSL and Octapharma takes 2-3 hours, it takes me 4-5 and I'm a returning donor! They only have one person checking temperature, weight and blood pressure...
I was deeply hurt and sad to write this review let me start off by saying that. I was at this facility 9/19/2022 my apt was 6:30pm. I am not sure if maybe people who worked there wanted to hurry up and leave but everyone seemed like there were very much ready to go (completely understandable on a Monday evening) none the less a young lady by the name of sonia was my phlebotomist that day. I noticed she was a little shaky when she was getting ready to stick me but wasn't that worried because sometimes we ju
This location has a huge problem with the BP machine for people that are a larger size I've donated at CSL and octapharma and never had a problem with my BP and I'm speaking and a change after two weeks... I don't suffer from high BP so it's absolutely funny I got turned away for it after waiting a hour and a half today. First time was about the same but I had to try every machine on all six bays to get a good reading... Pathetic I won't waste my time again $100 is a lure I'm no fish. I'll continue going to
This is the worst place. Don't be fooled by the 5stars on here. it's their own employees writing good reviews to cover up the mess. 1. I scheduled the appointment online for 9:30am (pointless) 2. I walked in at 9:30am and no one was there to assist, I had to walk to the back to seek assistance, the lady then checked me in. 3. Finally, at 11:00am I walked up to ask questions, and they took me to the interview room for about 10mins (imagine if I didn't ask questions) 4. Then sat back down for 1hour. Met up wi
The majority of the staff is great there, the only down fall is the staff could try a little more to get people in and out as soon as possible. They make the atmosphere fun and all but sometimes we don't all have time to sit and wait for them to stop and chat with each other and they rarely answer the phones when i call. Sometimes i don't have access to the internet and would like to schedule an apt or have questions and can't ever get an answer cuz no one answers the phone.... So in a nut shell I'd like to
Don't support this business they are extremely inconvenient. They asked for proof of social and then said because my name has jr it doesn't match. They let you wait dispite they make thousands off our donations. This company isn't worth your time.
I used to love coming here because the max wait would be 2 hours and I was okay with that but I have been here since 8:40am and it is now 10am and I still have 20 people ahead of me. There is not enough staff members for donors and the wait is ridiculous. There are only 2 people taking plasma, only 2!! Yesterday at 1pm they were just starting to call people from 9am because they were prioritizing new donors over existing! They either need to get more workers for donors or get their priorities in check. Upda
It took them 1 hour and a half to let me know that my vein was not good to donate. Waste of time. Bad customer service EXCEPT for the security that is very nice ??
At this location I feel a few of the Spanish staff members are bias if not racially profiling the African-Americans by saying that they are African Americans that work there, Haitian dissent Jamaican dissent those are not the ones that are doing the profiling? i?ve had encounters with one particular staff member name is Lourdes very rude takes her position as if she CEO of the company she picks and chooses and she's very vindictive I only go to this location because it is close Convenience and this company
Very unprofessional... Had me wait for 2 hours before I had to ask someone if they forgot me... of course they did. Finally got to the back and they refused me because my veins were supposedly too small... even though you could see them and feel them, on top of having needle marks that show where i get stuck from previous donations... Never had a problem anywhere else... they wat your veins to stick out like hulk hogan's in order to donate... any professional would get it done... I'm 5'10 170lbs not fat at
Yes,the other day I went in to donate my plasma and had the best experience. It was my first time doing and it takes like 3 hours, but it was worth the time because I'm O Neg and I know my plasma is worth gold for the new babies in the hospital. Rosie was my tech and also had the best service with her. She is a hard worker and is very professional. How the manager is also very professional in how he runs the place.
This location is horrible, long wait times, not enough employees and the ones that do work here all they talk about is getting another job. I,like others, use to like coming here. Now it is slow and stressful. I had a 115pm appt and haven't made it to the donation bed yet. 315pm. Don't come here you will regret it. A follow-up as it is a new week.. Arrived at 12:45 for a 1pm appt. Made it into the booth to get vitals checked at 115pm. Now 3pm and have not gone to the donation floor yet. I am only going to g
I'm a first time donor And I spoke with management earlier today about the long wait to donate. She was extremely rude and unprofessional when told about how long I have to wait. And then they say make an appointment, but you make one just to wait. I got there at 9 o'clock in the morning and left after 2pm. The management at this place really needs to be replaced and more staff hired Tom the heavy flow of clients.
Wait times are ridiculous, appointments are required but mean nothing. Always takes 2 to 3 hours to get through the process. It takes me 25 to 35 mins for the actual time. The rest is spent waiting Please manage appointments based on you staffing. They also take new donors to the donor floor before regular donors WHY?
I'm no longer going here. Yesterday I did went in at 9am. I waited until 1:15pm and wasn't seen. I did my blood sample at 10am. No one came to tell me anything. I got up and ask Imani at 12:50pm when are they going to see me. She said I was next. I waited until 1:15pm still nothing. I got up and left and a staff member asked me am I leaving. Yes I'm leaving and I won't be back period. My time is valuable and if you guys are short staffed you need to hire people or give us a warning of something for making p
Unlesss you have all day to wait and nothing else on your schedule do not donate here! Then the staff will turn around and have an attitude with you because of the long waits. It's ridiculous
Never been, because I've been trying for two weeks to call and make an appointment but nobody answers the phone or returns my messages. Seems to be on brand for them after seeing several reviews here mentioning their horrid customer service/patient care. Great start lol I'll stick with CSL.
I have no clue why they never pick up the phone is like if no one works there?? I tried more than 5 times today feb 10/2024 and yesterday still nothing I have an appointment for tomorrow I guess is better not to ever show up to this place? wow..
I have been coming here for over a year. The experience is usually seamless, but the communication is really poor. It has happened to me twice where I have failed my protein sample. I understand that it needs to be conducted, but why don't they let you know prior to the donation process? I often come after work and so I don't have time to eat a solid meal because I work in Miami. By notifying you a sample will be collected, it gives you the option to come another day. That is the only issue I have. The wai
I donated about 3 years ago in the previous location and it was good super clean, friendly staff, and you were in and out. I went back 3 weeks ago and and was considered a new donor so was told it was going to take about 2 hours which wasn't so bad as I knew to expect that already. Ramon was my tech and he was super awesome fast at hooking me up and was really good at sticking me without hurting me, checked on me and everyone in his section atleast every 5 mins to make sure we were fine and made the experie
Staff are friendly they very inconsistent sometimes they open on time and other days they don't, should be some incentive for having to wait on them but I'm sure that's not going to happen. Sunday I had a 7am appointment and because the staff member let the other people in that had 7:15 appointments as well and of course they get to the kiosk before I do I'm left waiting while their already seen and I'm left waiting, how is that fair??I didn't think it was either. Not the best service all the time. But the
I recently visited Biotest Hollywood and it was really smooth experience, mainly due to two phlebotomist by the name of Lilly and Takiera, they were so polite and helpful, most of all patient because I had a lot of questions, but they literally answered every question and even made sure I was to stay hydrated even after the process. I appreciate how kind and informative they were, hopefully this can be acknowledged by there staff because they're job isn't easy and sometimes they deal with a rough crowd.
I've been coming here for years they used to be quick to serve the anti d donors and had great customer service, but lately they don't even have time to answer the phone. Waited 4+ hours to donate which is unacceptable I don't know what's going on but this place used to value their donors. They are about to lose plenty of referrals and donors.
Wait time is extremely long due to no staff because corporate will not hire new staff and they took out the chairs as well. DO NOT COME HERE. Workers are very kind but need more assistance here . Payment is not with it. Corporate does not care. A generic response will be left under my post and I'm not interested in speaking to anyone !!!!
I donated today 12/8/22 at 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm, 888ml of plasma as a new donor third donation. When i left i went to go buy dinner I checked my card and they never put the $100 on my debt card. On top of of lowering their donor reward fees now they are stealing my plasma and not paying me. I called the 800 number for Grifols and they said they would look into it. I will be following up tomorrow with the manager who runs this place because I am really disappointed how unprofessional these people are running th
The website asks you to make an appointment. However when you arrive they tell you appointments do not matter. I was made to wait outside for a half-hour past my time... Once inside I was told that appointments get you in the door... Wish everyone would get on the same page. Why offer appointments if you do not honor them. And if it is corporate that offers appointments then corporate should come and overhaul this location to follow protocol.
management is in need of a change. I don't normally review places, but this plasma corporation is poorly managed. employees have high turnover because of lower then competitive salaries, and thus they suffer from low staff. I came in at 7:15am, and it's 9:40am and I still haven't been placed to give my plasma. avoid this location.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Majority of the staff I've dealt with the 2 times I've taken my daughter, they were simply GHETTO. They scheduled for a time AFTER they closed KNOWING she was first time donor.... then the girl doing physicals got nasty and said "well it's not MY problem". Y'all really do need to get people that have skills to deal with people, have the correct communication capabilities. This place is a joke. You overbook appointments and get rude with people if they complain. Time
I have been here for two occasions. It's a nice place, but on waiting room there is so much noise, so is difficult to hear when your name is called. People speak so loud, enjoying their waiting time but it's difficult to hear. I suggest to put screens to read the name when is called
Every time I book an appointment, I do not get a confirmation email. I go inside and the receptionist always have more attitude than you. I drive 30 minutes and rush from work because they have a stupid appointment system that is very inconvenient. I have called over and over they don't answer the phones. I have went to several companies and this is the only company I have to be in more than 1 hour no matter what day
This place is the worst they want to take my donation cuz my license said Junior and my Social Security didn't say junior is the worst I have ever seen they don't say that in front so be careful of your license is Junior and it doesn't match at your name on your Social Security they won't take you in really bad I can't believe they did that and I came all the way from Cutler Ridge. That's unreal I never had such thing so just be careful out there that place doesn't make any sense really bad service
PLEASE READ BEFORE COMING Everyone was extremely rude I was waiting for 3 hours and the staff (not just one but multiple because I tried with others but to no surprise they were all rude) have the nerve to get a attitude with me just because I asked my status on the waiting list and then this small skinny lady with glasses says no without even asking my name! They go to tell me my name was not even in the system after I had already went in the booth for the blood to be drawn. The moment I started to get an
Staff is super nice! Now that appointments are mandatory there are no more line cutters or super long lines. Pay is better than ever and youre in and out quicker too with new machines. Alrick is my go to guy hes never missed my stick!
Julia W, the sweetest nurse there. Informative and friendly as always! God bless these people and what they do!! She's the only nurse to tell you what you can do when you're waiting for the donor machine to prepare and if the needle positioning is okay. As for the establishment itself, it could be a hell of a lot more efficient in terms of time management. Personally, I go to save lives and to occasionally use the compensation for donation and tuition payments. My time is very important to my schedule as I
Been going for 17 years now & actually love the staff, but have called 97 times in the past 5 business days to no avail. Only once did I get an answer last week & was told to call back yesterday...tried 27 times & still they still gave no1 answering the phones on option 3 (reception) or option 4 (manager). Gonna switch to CSL now.
I have been here now for 3 hours , just for a protein sample. Now I remember why I stopped coming here. Extremely slow service and no respect for donors time. Just walked out of the donor center after waiting 3 and a half hours. Looking at the reviews now and see that I am not the only one complaining about wait times. How can you keep this center open with this many complaints. People that came in after me are done donating and I haven't even been called.
Used to be good about two month ago. THIS place came under bad management. They hired a manager that does care. He fired a lot of employees for cost cutting reasons. Current wait time is 4-5 hour even in the morning. Employees are inconsiderate. They probably got a pay cut. They Ask plasma this is going to hell
This is the worst donation center. The only place you have to make an appointment that's not worth making. I made a 930 appointment and 3 hours later still didn't get call to the back. The staff is very slow plus they payout is crazy. It's a nice place but if you don't want to sit and wait 3 to 4 hours don't even bother.
Whenever I try to post a review on how the staff really behave there, my comment gets deleted. That just shows you how rude they really are. This place is just terrible, I have seen many people sitting down for 30 minutes on the donor floor before even being able to start or finish their process. Customer service is ridiculous, they do not provide any help or a welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend a new center that recently opened on Ives Dairy called CSL Plasma. It is much better, cleaner and so are the
Single handedly the worst experience I have ever had at either a donation center as well as any store. I was waiting in the waiting room for 2 hours and had to remind the staff of my presence on 4 occasions. Stay way away from this place. They have no idea what they are doing
Every time I call this location nobody answers the phone. It's not broken because once in a while they do answer. They are ignoring their donors. I have to drive 20 minutes away just to see if I can donate because they refuse to pick up the phone and answer questions. So in the event that I'm unable to donate, I have to drive 40 minutes for nothing when I could?ve stayed home and asked them over the phone. When I am able to donate they are usually not busy , so why is picking up the phone such an issue? T
Terrible staff very unprofessional phlebotomists and intake people. Expect to have your vein punctured at least once a month and go back home with a black and blue arm that lasts for two-theee weeks because the phlebotomist missed your vein. Last visit sealed The deal while doing the intake the lady behind the desk punctured my poor finger three times wrong not doing it right and not able to get enough blood out of me. With my fingers still all bloody she asked If she could have a fourth fry. I went to comp
Very kind and knowledgeable staff. There's people there that shine more to me than others although they are all great. Kerry who screens always greets me with a smile and is always professional and extremely kind she answers all my questions and is very respectful she also seems to take great pride in her work she's very respectful I've seen even when there are irate donors who are impatient. Karli has such a bubbly personality on the few occasions that I've spoken with her, she makes me feel welcom
This is by far the most unpleasant place to donate plasma. I know people sometimes look for a easy way to make quick cash but this is not it. The entire front desk staff is rude , Lisa the supervisor doesn't even greet the guest. I've sat by the desk for about thirty minutes now and I am already completely disgusted by the staffs interactions with the donors. One donor needed help with the kiosk machine , he was having trouble for over twenty minutes , asked for help and an unprofessional staff memeber told
Unable to donate because I use a POB for mail and my address in over 25 miles away. I recommend staying away from Biomat, it seems they want to turn people away instead of servicing them. I take no medication and I am good health, it is a shame I could not help people today.
Compensation is good. Staff is very friendly. It takes FOREVER just to get back into the donation room to get hooked up. I just moved here from utah 2 months ago. The longest I've ever been at the donation place was 3 hours from the time I got there till I'm leaving. Here in florida I've been there 6 hours and 4 hours at a time. Its ridiculous.
Listen no plasma place is perfect, but there are 3 major ones that I know of in south florida this one, Octapharma (newest) and CSL. I don't know what the recent lady is talking about the staff. I'm always friendly and they are too! so you get what you give. I've never met a rude member working there yet. and you know what its the easiest money to make without taking your clothes off! LOL. This place is clean except for the bathroom not always! please pay more attention to them! Unlike other center's yo
I love this place very much. The only kicker is that you have to wait forever so expect to be there for like 4 hours or expect it to be an all day thing... My advice drink and eat before you get there because after you donate you will feel lightheaded and dizzy... Customer service is very helpful and it seems like everybody is very friendly and there to help...
Appointments here mean nothing. Made an appointment and went in only to be told they don't have time for new donors. This was at 9 in the morning. Lazy lazy lazy staff. Don't even bother making an appointment, it means absolutely nothing to these people. Rude staff also, ignored me for a good 15 minutes while I stood at the front desk. Nothing but a waste of time from these people.
takes longer and longer everytime and the staff loves to treat you like an idiot over any questions you ask. They are rude and slow and its getting harder and harder to convince myself to go each time. they tell you the process takes a couple hours for repeat donors this is simply not true they take over 2 hours just to screen you, that doesnt include the time it takes to donate.
I have no idea why everyone below is saying this place is horrible. I'm sitting here now as a new donor at 4:30pm and I couldn't find one thing wrong. The wait is long but that is to be expected and I was told when I came in the timeline. The staff was great and clean. Very friendly people who kept letting me know how many were ahead of me. Great place to help People out and make some extra money when needed. Great staff makes the waiting not bad at all.
All of the staff here are professional, friendly, and efficient. The facility is always clean and sanitary. I will not donate any where else! Every Grifols location is professional and the procedures are identical however I'm very fond of this location because of the staff. Thank you, Grifols!! I love you guys
Overall, this donation center has been professional and pleasant. They're accepting appointments online due to Covid-19 and have implemented precautionary measures as best as they can, starting with taking one's temperature the moment they walk in. The process is simple and one can donate twice a week. Because I had Covid-19 I receive $100 every time. Not a bad gig, saving lives and making $800 per month. If you can do it, you should and this is a good place to come to.
Im under a friends account he's the one that told me about bio test, and I have been content with the service and friendly staff up until today. I waited 3 hours to donate and I still haven't received the funds on my card. I called a hour after I donated and told one of the staff she said it would be on there shortly. I called again after I realized there was still no funds loaded on my card after two hours and I was told that the system was slow and it would be on my card before the day is over. First and
Ridiculous wait times (about 3 hours), understaffed, appointments don't matter, and i got stuck by a tech who had no idea what she was doing, so she didn't hit the vein, and then i had to wait for another tech to fix it, which made it take even longer to get done. Horrible experience. Go somewhere else to donate. Not worth the aggravation.
They just left people off the street, this woman named Sam is the most disrespectful employee that they have. She was acting like she was on drugs while she was sticking me to deliver my plasma, then she walked away with my machine malfunctioning. My donation started becoming painful, as I have never experienced this kind of pain durning a donation. Then she came back from the bathroom and casually came over to see what the issue was after talking to her coworkers. I had to get re-pricked after she couldn't
A friend had told me about this place and the first time I arrived there I wasn't able to donate plasma because of my low blood iron. One of the phlebotomist's had told me to come in the next day before 1pm (since it was on a Saturday), The second attempt wasn't too pleasant since there was a rude heavy set man with a beard, wore these hipster glasses who told me I needed to make an appointment. I thought they wouldn't make such a big deal about making appointments but there were so many people there so I g
If you are planning to donate plasma choose another company. Here they are incompetent, unprofessional. Simply the worse choice. At the end was for the best; Fortunately I found a great place to donate. CSL. Better attention and pride for their work.
This place is beyond ghetto. Don't try to call looking for information they won't answer. They leave u unattended too talk about the kinds of Doritos they like. U donate after 6 hours only for them to give u a debit card that is not registered in their system and make u come all the way back to the center. The staff is disrespectful and rude at you when you ask questions. Do yourself a favor and go to CSL. That are much more professional.
Such mediocre experience this is my 4th time in total and most definitely my last coming here. For one the staff was in a rush this Saturday and the guy that sticked me had to get someone else to re stick me due to the fact that my blood stopped flowing after it was flowing perfectly fine and one of the staff members ended up clotting my blood I was there for 2 hours and only got $20 for it all at the end instead of $80 or at least $60 but being the fact that one of the staff members ruptured my vein and I
Just wanted to say that this place was extremely quick and efficient especially with the professionalism of an employee who is named lourdes. She is very very nice and professional.
This place is ungodly amounts of slow. It takes at least 3 hours to be hooked up and who knows how long after to have the needle removed. Much better centers in the area that are much quicker.
Laura C-Was amazingly great at her services and was so polite to me and very attentive to me and my needs. Also Louis P was in charge of disconnecting me and oh my gosh, was a gentleman you have here. Super super polite and so respectful. Thanks Biotest for having great employees like Laura C & Louis P
I was here 2/08 and had an 7am appt, got there at 6:45am only to be told you were closed for your monthly meeting to come back at 9am. I don't live around the corner and if you know you are going to have these meetings you should block those appointment times that you are closed for them.
I donated for the first time in March and then went back in May and June. Yes, the waits can be long, but each time I have gone with an appt. my total time there is about 2.5 hours. I first wanted to donate for a way to supplement my income since my husband wasn't working due to cancer. In March my husband passed and received a lot of plasma and blood as they were trying to save his life. It's very emotional for me to donate now but I like to give back and it's still a way to have extra $ without the commi
Great staff, very friendly, they enjoy addressing everyone by their names, very accessible building. Many team members. On the floor to provide great service.Different waiting areas with two separate front desks help at all time. Great rewards and high first time donor compensation$. Good returning donor fee$ as well.Donation time goes quick once you're screened. Greatly located area. Pretty Well mauntained and cool atmosphere. There are Many tv screens and poster boards to inform. Highly recommended
I went to this location to donate because I was thinking about switching donation stations. The nurse was so dam rude with the way she talked to me I will never go there again until they fire her. The way she talks to people is cause got a lawsuit and I'm sure they will get one soon with the way she treats people
This place Is ridiculously slow... empty ...forever... packed ... come another day... procedures of operation is silly... 2 stars cause the staff well some of them are really nice..this place acts like u don't have nothing to do after u leave there... it's an afternoon event... cause all your time for the day is gone..medically speaking.. this place is dangerous... 20 people with needles ?? in there arms and they in the corner chatting away.. not paying attention to if people passed out... or overseas that
It was a nice place before but now it is a hell. They should hire more people or get apooinments only. The new people are so Lazy, super lazy. In the last three months I spend there more than 4 hours and with an appoinment, thats so ridiculous to be paid $25, you should increase the pay ig you wait for four hours it is a waste if time plus you need to eat well and mantain a good health to donate and the oay abd time doesn't worth that.
I remember when it used to take an hour and a half to donate plasma there now it's closer to four hours so remember to bring some food and if you're a smoker, you can't go out once your check in on the computer so you might want to have a cigarette just before you go in cuz it's going to be a long few hours before you can go out for a cigarette or food! I kept pointing out that the the TV's have no volume and even though I've asked over and over again if there's any way we can hear the TV , like Bluetooth o
You will spend 3 hours here. Regardless how busy it is or isn't. Seems like they are hellbent on making a person late. Nooo mozy in the step. However, it is clean and the seats are comfortable. Have plugs in some benches so you can charge phone. Pays more than csl ?? only reason to continue really And your response means nothing to me. I will HAPPILY record the constant talking by the staff, the lax attitude had. Been here since 4. It is 8Pm. I was 17 in like and 13 in que now. Please explain once again
My name is Don Demetrius and I come to the plasma place all the time the person that sticks the needles the best and always has the best attitude is Carla she does a wonderful job every time you deserve a raise for the type of person she is and also yannicke she does an awesome job at everything she does she is very respectful and she treats everybody the same she also deserves a raise wonderful woman
Clean environment, respectful and humorous staff, one poke wonder phlebotomists. I dig the place altogether. I see a few misplaced one stars that were made by people of.... questionable intellect. This place has high traffic, so expect a bit of a wait if you don't have an appointment and, if it's your first time, the very first thing they advise you of is that the wait will be 3-4 hours for all initial testing/registering. Furthermore, EAT A WELL ROUNDED MEAL (as advised by staff) before showing up, to av
I have been been donating here going on two years Never waited 3 hours or more, corporate need to pay these girls more money on the donation floor they have kids to take care of it's not for us to have to wait along time to donate. Since I've been here I seen 200 employees come and go Bad Management
If a 0 star was possible I would rate it a 0. Place not worth your time, rude employees working doesn't acknowledge anything and if they do its with an attitude. The place is full of people with no type of manners. If your looking to waste hours being stuck there for $25 by all means go right ahead. Place is dirty and for new donors you can expect to sit down for an hour before being called by time you donate your not feeling it anymore. They should really give more back as compensation when each plasma bot
The customer service here is horrible. There is no one at the front desk for new donors. I have been waiting for an hour as a new donor and have yet to be called back to start the physical. I was told they were understaffed and this is the reason for the wait. Please develop a new process to provide the best service to your donors.
Your prices are an insult considering that you guys make about $ 4,500. Per unit so I don't understand why can't donor make more then what you pay. Specially when other location give out no less then 65$ starting at $100. Which it's still a rip off.
The manager Kam on the plasma room spoke to me with a very rude and unwelcoming attitude. I'm a 40 year old professional woman in the Financial Service Industry and I just asked a simple question and her delivery in her response was so rude I had to write this review because one bad apple spoils the bunch!
I think that I was turned away for reasons other than they gave me they said I was turned away because my driver's license had my full name in my social security name was only showing my first and last name not withstanding that my driver's license in order to certify it you have to take in your birth certificate and plus my license has been certified by the 911 updates or at least that's what the driver's license bureau told me that it's fully encrypted or secured. They told me that I could be using somebo
I like this location, never really had any problems.decent customer service, free wifi, television. But one thing I will say they can improve on is the wait time, and What they pay regular donors. Compared to CSL on Ives Dairy road, CSL wait time is 5x shorter! Biotest only cares for new donors, so if you're not new, or constantly suggesting people, they won't even give you 30 bucks. On top of that If you Refer someone they won't pay you for that recommendation until the Second time the person you recommend
Better looking office now but way more confusion. Very disheartening. Staff is nice and we'll manored. Scary when you hear the staff say that they don't know what to do when it's your chart. Hopefully things will get better or I do not think I come here much more.
No one answers the phone ever when I call here. I really hope they aren't giving 50$ dollars only to returning donors. I usually spend 4 hours here just donating and I'm sure they make over 1,000 off my donation. Super sad.
I have never rated anything a 1 star ever in my life. I recently relocated to broward so going here I am considered a new donor. Walked in, explained my situation. Waited an hour to see what was the hold up of calling me. No clip board signing or anything until after I mentioned there wasnt a sign in. Finally signed in and then waited an additional hour and 30 minutes thats 2hrs and 30 minutes total. Never again.
0 stars. This place is demoralizing and useless. Demoralizing because the staff was extremely rude and arrogant. The personnel made me feel so insignificant and unimportant. Useless because I wasted two and a half hours at this place before I was told that your have to eat non-greasy food for a week before you can donate. Unfortunately, I am poverty stricken and greasy food is cheaper. Also, I was lucky to hear my name called because they whisper your name behind a closed door and expect you to underst
So From the beginning I was welcomed with open arms ?? it took forever but Josh (Management) reassured me and also gave me insight of his story within the company. From there I met Fernal (intake) who is one of the most wonderful and sweetest people @Bio! Angelica & Mattie Was the tech who is awesome especially with the fact that I have rolling veins ?? (she's no longer here) So the run down (my team) I love Ashley (morning Management or team lead) she's my ???????? she deserves a promotion, raise, and one m

I started donating at this facility in 2002, when it was called NABI. Over the years I have met many great people, donors and staff alike. The staff is always kind, courteous, professional and well trained. Always taking care of the donors. I have recognized many employees over the years. Many have moved on in their careers. I wish them well. I want to thank Livia, the center manager, for her dedication to providing the best services and staff possible. All of the staff is great. From management (Joe, J
This was my first time donating my plasma. Whole experience was great starting with my phone call the day before were I spoke to Natalie. She was very nice and informative! When I arrived in the morning I was first greeted by security who was polite as well. Then I spoke with Saphir who took my ID and social and explained a few things. Then I saw Giselle and Katherine who were both nice and informative as well. Once it was my turn to donate I had a young man named Alrick! He was very polite and made me feel
I don't understand how i made my appointment and still had other peaple get plugged in ahead me if your going to have an appointment required to donate then follow thru with it this place is the worst don't come here octapharma is better
UPDATE -- They took mybreview seriously and offered an incentive for me to return so i did. Now i have never had a problem and everyone is always super nice. This place is the worst plasma center i have ever visited. The manager Livia Echevarria is rude and tried not to give me her name after the horrible experience. The website and telephone message clearly states a new donor may arrive an hour before closing. I was there THREE hours before closing and Livia denied me because they didnt want to work a lit
Absolutely horrible experience, they have me waiting 3+ hours to make a donation as a return donor. There isn't any level on initiative on the staff to speed up the process. They aren't considerate of peoples time. I will not be coming back.
These 5 stars are for the very sweet Ms. Yayetta. Shes a phlebotomist. I went in for my scheduled donation yesterday 10/20/2019 I was called to the donor floor and i sat back ther for 40 mins waiting to start my donation. If it was not for Ms. Yayetta i wouldve been sitting there. I wish i knew the names of the 2 ppl that were working in that section and just constantly overlooked me.... One was a female who i figure doesnt like me becUse she has a thing for my boyfriend but thats neither here nor there....
Awesome place for plasma donations. They allow you to set up appointments online so you can get screened faster. The wait time can be high but it's a really friendly environment, with TVs and free Wi-Fi. The staff is really awesome as well?? Update: I've been coming in the mornings as of late and I can tell you that Alrick is THE BEST phlebotomist at the center....hands down. They also updated their screening equipment so you can get out of there faster....The staff is still awesome ????????
Started donating here earlier this week. Very nice facility, kind staff, and CLEAN. Joe did my physical and he was nice and kind of funny. Overall, a good place to donate whether you are looking for some extra money or just want to help people out (plasma is used in some medicines & helps burn victims too).
The physician substitute Maria never does her job. Always locked up in the office playing on her phone, chatting with other workers, hanging out in the break room, etc. You can sit there for hours & never see her call anyone. Does she forget she has a job to do? If you're waiting for a phys sub & Maria is working that day.... Forget it. You'll be waiting hours just to get a physical done (not including the time to get screened & wait to go on donor floor).
It is ridiculous waiting for a donation of $45 and wait 4 hours and still waiting to donate. If is 5 people screening and only one inside for donors. Not consideration for donors who needs to wait outside more than hour and three inside just to get to donate. Management did not do nothing to help staff or care about customers, terrible management and customer service. Do not come here and waste tpur time in this place
Bridgette is by far the best! Not only is she amazing with donors, but all the staff comes to her if they have problems. She sets us donors at ease. People who have difficult veins like me are in great hands with Bridgette!!! With the high turn around you guys have on staff, you don't want to lose her, she runs the floor!
Ashely is so helpful, she love what she do and her customer skills are exceptional. This is my 3rd time coming and she took care of me every time. No complaints here!! Thank you Ashley ??
Waited 3 hours. Finally got done after the place closed for the day... And in true Grifols fashion- my money was short and bobody is answering the fone ... As usual. Grifols is the worst BLOOD DONOR establishment in ALL OF SOUTH FLORIDA!!!
Staff is great no problems there but security has been harrassing me everytime i show up these past 3 days he always had something to tell me. Honestly my phone rings and hes already nagging me like i if i am not allowed tell the caller Im going to call back. How am i supposed to pass my vitals when the security is constantly aggitating me.
Be prepared for at least a 2hr wait , patience is a virtue . The staff is very friendly and beneficial especially David he is my favorite employee there . Biotest helps to save lives and I'm glad that I can help someone live a better life .
Very unprofessional they don't have enough people to run a business. They HATE to have to answer the phone they put the ringer on silent . So they receptionist only see your call if they are standing over the phone at the counter. An when they finally answer they act like you called their personal phone . Management does not respond either . Only go here if u don care to be a lab rat.
Worse place ever! Customer service is horrendous, most of their attitudes are disgusting. Some staff are lovely and do their job properly, but the majority have no idea what's going on. Definitely would not recommend here. CSL Plasma is way better
This is the aftermath. I've been in pain for 3 days. I had to call off work for the past 2 days. I haven't been able to pick up nothing heavy. I'm extremely limited on my day to day duties. This is very painful.
Horrible first experience. Takes extremely long and the process does take longer than it should. But they tried to help me as much as possible. But I felt really sick with the donation, it's been 2 days and I still feel really tired and worn out. Be prepared to wait a really Long time
I am writing this review as I see many on here are not accurate. Biotest and Csl are both decent places to donate plasma. Both are there to save lives but there are shortcomings at both. Mostly its some of the employees that are anxious sometimes too get off on time and therefore they may not be as courteous as the parent company would like them too be. However, if you are there just to save lives and earn a little extra cash they are both decent places.
As of late the number of people selling there plasma is growing. But the number of staff is staying the same. You are calling 8 people at a time to check there fingers and packing 6-8 people in one section. The lines are taking longer. The touch screens to sign in are getting so dirty. You really should put out wet naps to clean them. There seems to be one sign in screen that is not working and never gets fixed. You have 3 rest rooms and swarms of people using them. You really should hire a person to clean
The staff is wonderful, very kind and understanding. They take the time to make you comfortable and talk to you. They treat you like a person not a paycheck.
Don't come here they only 10 at a time per half hour if everything goes smoothly. They blame covid 19 but do not pay there workers and this place is a revolving door with donors and employees I've waited almost 5 hours here.
The people and place it great but the card they use is horrible I cant even use the money on my card cause i got $75 that day and got cigarettes after $5 now i get denied everywhere I go. I called and they said the $5 has to go through b4 i can use the card again
Management Needs to be replaced they're all Mediocres Can't believe we've been here for almost 3 hours waiting to donate and the floor isn't even busy nor crowed . avoid this place GO TO CSL
Lisa is the biggest four legged dog I ever met...poor service. They infiltrated both arms and had to pay me anyway. I had blood clots in my right arm and had to get it treated worse experience..extremely ghetto.always packed expect a 4hr wait.
Why the bad reviews??? I went there for the first today and I was very comfortable ye it might take a lil while but hey come on it's a great place to me
This place is awesome unfortunately the wait depends on the amount of people ahead of you so be prepared for a couple hours but the staff is more than competent and I've never had a bad experience here ! Also I believe after any kind of bonus sign-up fees at other places this place pays the most for a regular donor !
Very clean and organized. The staff is excellent; quick, professional, get you in and out. If you're looking to do the right thing, donate here.
First time donor. It was a koo experience. Everything went smoothly. Koo staff that was friendly amd held conversations with me. It took me about 3hrs total. Time goes by fast when you have other friendly donors that talks to you while your in the process. I will be back shortly. #igotmymoney
This Place is Amazingly Great With Donor's.. They Show Dedication and Love towards the People. Everything in Life takes time.. Patience is A Blessing.?? ?? Happy Holiday's to Youzzz All.. ??????
Worst experience of my entire life i've nevered been so disrespected they claimed was too small!!!!! Ive been to several Plasma centers and Ive had a successful trip every time then what's some it all up one of their employees tryed to pull a wise ass joke about my veins saying do you want a stress ball I clearly told them I will be pursuing paper work against them and I'm following up my lawyer good day
Place a great place to do "An Act Of Kindeness!" You not only are helping save lives, but, you get compensated for your time. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, but, very professional. My facoritefis Marie Sylne. I use be afraid Everytine I'm I went in. Since Marie and she assisted, I realize, she was the No #1. No pain at all!!!! I'm never afraid knowing she is there!
The staff is great, they're compassionate and patient. It's very clean and they get you in and out at a timely fashion. Thank you Speedy and Matty???? you two are the best.!!
Nice staff and they are usually fast. I have gone there to donate quite a few times and never had a bad experience. Don't forget to bring a sweater or blanket; it is very cold in there
Ivy is a new gal in training and she did everything perfect with NO pervasive needle stick! Also, G.G., Sabrina, Ashley and other staff members did a great job, especially when it gets busy during peak hours during the week. I highly recommend Biotest Plasma
Ramona's one of the best workers that I've ever come in contact with. Always professional and easy-going no matter what day it is. Ramona 4 Prez.??
This place needs more staff. I went for my second donation and had to leave witout donating because there was a line with 10 donors waiting and only 2 staff members assisting them. It was a waste of my time!
Four hours in the last four months to wait dor donate, people are lazy, many pekple around doing nothing while donors wait for 4-5hours.Dont know where is the manager b/c soemtimes he was helping but noe they have more people and everytime it is worse. Five hours for $25 it is a steal for ourtime and plasma.
Never again ver Nasty unprofessional Nasty nasty nasty its covid Instead of water Bottles they U have to srink From The fountain They domt change their gloves at all Well while I was ghere atleast very slow And very Rude do Go Here at allllll didnt receive my pay in time Hae to Drive back ti see why Didng i Get paid After My Donation The procees was long Computers was going out
The most courteous, professional, attentive, knowledgeable, non-bias, expedient all while making sure the entire process was as comfortable as possible! Appreciate the staff who happily assisted me: Sabrina, Chantiese, Cecilia and Saphir...and I'd definitely recommend Biotest in Hollywood to my peeps*
I attempted to donate today as a first timer and was surprised by the service and lack of transparency. At first I was told I COULD donate and was made to wait up to 2 hours just to be told my credentials were not in line. What a lack of respect for my time and a severe tell of unprofessionalism
The staff acts as if they work at a soup kitchen for the have nots and tend to be wasteful with time, they make you spend time here. Most of staff are unpleasant if they think they can get away with it .
So when they mess up on your arms 3 times they will pay u full then they tell you next time u go that they will be taking money from what I got paid because I finish donating.. they removed the needle and relocated it in my arm then switched arms after they messed it up twice then went to my next arm then did it again and told me to leave because they can't get my vein... they really need to train there staff more or close the place down because there's no telling how many ppl time that they wasted then ref
They have deteriorated the attention, they indicate that they must have an appointment to attend you, you arrive at the indicated time and then they make you wait more than 3 hours how is happening today, and nothing that I enter the room to start donating. Bad service
I sat in their lobby for a half hour and wasn't even acknowledged. I don't think anybody was in the place other than a security guard. Don't waste your time coming here.
It has been good coming here biotest. The staff is really great for a plasma center. In particular the phlebotomist Jennifer C. Was polite effiecient and upbeat. She made it a pleasant experience.
This experience was wonderful , Nate is a caring person, funny, and actually communicates and makes me feel like I'm not just a number and does his job well and doesn't speak to you in a condescending manner ! If they had 10 stars I would put it. Go Donate and request Nate
Great place and Cecilia,Ramona Maddy,Marie,Latrayvia,Ashley,Raven,Rosalia, The whole front staff are the greatest also Jamaican security pop they all 050 to me ?? And Gwenda ,Yayetta,Imani,Takiera,Ramon,Precilla
My experience was great I was a little mad when I first laid down in the back because of the wait and then my machine was also broken but Rosi an absolute delight of a person she always has a smile and she explained to me what happened and then she was really good with my stick very nice and gentle Betsey was also very good and polite and she attends school so I know she was really tired and still tokvher time with me thanks you guys so much
Its suppose to be by appointment only but most of the people dont have appointments (because we talk sbout it in line) so when i make an appointment they dont honor it. And as they are suppose to be appointment only they are not following national guidelines. Guess it needs to be reported.
My first time at biomat in Hollywood they gave me a bad stick couldn't even donate because it was stuck wrong then I get a call 2 days ago from I think it was the nurse I spoke there says something about my protein tried to call the place for the last hour can't get a single answer I really hope somebody in corporate sees this because I'm not very happy I've been to four other plasma places and never had a problem yet
Communication is horrible, the wait time is 2 hours or better. So be ready to waste a few hours here even if they're fully staffed
Came back after a long time away and seen alot of new faces even the rookies got it down to a science... Shouts out to the new girl Taylor ... Like to call her Steady T bcuz you feel nothing when she sticks you... Makes u comfortable and all.. If it were my first time i woulda sworn she had been there for at least 2 years
Front desk was nice but the lady that does the physical was not so nice. I dont think that its right to get denied for something stupid and from the past. Didn't like the treatment.
They changed most of their employees and they're very non commutative ..THE BEST EMPLOYEES ARE LOURDES (VERY SWEET)MADDY (THE BEST) AND THE PARAMEDIC CAN REMEMBER HIS NAME .AND NO TOLD ME I HAD TO SWITCH CARDS
I was trying to donated plasma in this Blood Center. I have the requirement such as y license, my social security and my proof of address but since my proof of address wasnt in the 30 days period they denied me. And it have my college infomation but they still denied me .
Happy Good Friday to all of the staff at Biomat USA ???? in Hollywood, FL. Thank you ???? all of you for what you do. I'd like to give a ?BIG THANK YOU? to Cecilia for doing an awesome job today from beginning to end on my right arm 5 STARS ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ***** !!!!!
This place is a joke and they move slow , its always only 1 person in the front and the staff in the back moves very slow and doesn't know how to be proactive its has taken 4 hours literally everytime I donated!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
