Customer Reviews

I have had an excellent experience here for several years, and value what they do and them reaching out to me. I was not wanting to schedule an appointment, however what they have done for my blood pressure, hematocrit levels, and helping other people is highly recommended for anyone who may qualify. At the time, I was not ready to give for multiple reasons, but the reminder to come in was appreciated. Great staff and helpful team.

The only Carter site at which I've donated platelets so far that hasn't stuck me to determine whether and how many I can donate. This site is also the only one to warm my donation arm from the start, reducing the typical time hooked up to the machine by half! Worth the longer drive. Good people. Competent and compassionate.

I walked in (without an appointment) on Friday around 1:15 and was greeted by no fewer than 3 young ladies and was getting my vitals taken within 10 minutes of arrival. My phlebotomist Shawanda is exceptionally gifted. Her chair side interaction was smooth and relaxed. The stick of the needle was almost imperceptible. I'll make the 40 minute drive just to have her do my donation again.

This is a one-star review for the Carter BloodCare Plano location, where I've been donating for over 15 years. My last two visits were enough to convince me I won't be coming back. At the previous visit, my wife and I had 11:00 a.m. appointments. We arrived early, around 10:45, and had completed all the online paperwork. The receptionist acknowledged us, and we waited. At 11:15, I walked up and reminded her we had appointments and were on a schedule. She apologized and told us to be patient. A walk-in grou

I had an amazing experience donating blood with Carter Blood. Alishba did an excellent job?her precision in inserting the needle and extracting the blood was flawless. She was incredibly polite, supportive, and made the entire process smooth and comfortable. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out, making what could have been a stressful experience feel effortless. I highly recommend this service, especially with such dedicated staff like Alishba. Thank you for making a difference!

Clean and efficient. I filled out the questions before I got here. I had an appointment and there was no waiting. Professional and courteous service. Happy to donate blood here.

This is a worst place, rude & unprofessional. Plz watch urself and think to go in future. I gave blood donation today and they couldn't needle it properly on my right & then they draw from left. See the images of outcome. I will never donate blood with Carter in future.

First timer here. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about. Everyone was nice. Process was quick and painless. Love the online forms so I don't have to fill out a bunch of papers. Booked an appointment online and there was no wait. Also, free snacks!

To say the staff love their job is a complete over statement. Not even God himself could make these employees smile. They were all in a bad mood as if they have never had anything good happen to them. The lady that i had to draw my blood didnt even try! After just a little bit, she couldn't get it, she packed everything up and said drink water next time and walked off!!! I will never return to this location ever again.

The staff is awesome. They are friendly and professional. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I donate here. I'm so comfortable when I'm hooked up to the apheresis machine, plus there are snacks and drinks.

This place is a joke. They are advertising all over TV asking for plasma donations if you have recovered from covid-19. I make an appointment, read and fill out all of their pre-paperwork and questionnaires, someone calls me to confirm the appointment and makes sure I understand it will take 2 hours. I show up...and only then do they say well today we will just take a blood test to confirm your antibodies and you'll have to make another appointment to come back and give plasma. No mention of this in any

I honestly don't know what everyone's complaining about. These people are nice, the facility is professional, and the wait was exactly what I'd expect for sashaying in at 3 PM on a Friday. Don't want to wait? Make an appointment or show up at 1 PM on Monday.

I have donated blood and platelets here for several years. They do a great job in keeping the donor comfortable. :-)

Thank you to the Carter BloodCare team for taking care of me today. Especially Chelsea and the many others who helped me give blood today. Can't wait to return.

low hourly pay syndrome. They act like it's an inconvenience when i go there, tell me it's too early to give blood when i already have an appointment. They can't call their appointment center to confirm that I'm eligible. Just a pain to have to deal with. Who is serving who here?

No joke. The lady yanked out the needle and thought she cut my arm. Love the huge cut and gigantic bruise. Very wrong just because you needed the bed. Thanks but no thanks

Thank you for the great service. These people are awesome. Haley was awesome. I laughed the entire time i was donating blood thanks to her fireworks story
