I've been a new donor for a while. This is because I went up to this location 5 separate times and was sent away because they weren't accepting new donors. The reasoning they gave me was that the nurses either weren't there or they were overwhelmed. I can understand this happening a few times. After 5 times, it becomes clear it's a management issue. They are always understaffed, and the employees are rude. They do not answer the phone. When considering places to donate, this place should be last on your lis

I'm considering donating plasma at this location and I'd like to find out first how much they pay. I called the center directly, but nobody answers and there isn't any information on the website. I'm a bit concerned because I've read several reviews about not being able to contact the center. In those reviews, Grifols responds and says to call the main number 855-697-5276, so I did that. That's useless because the rep I talked with said I need to call the individual donation center to find out that info

This is my favorite plasma center they treat you so nice and are welcoming and have some of the best staff janae and charles are some of my favorite staff members

The people gave me a brand new envelope with a pay card in it that was cancelled and I didn't get paid. 188534 complaint # I don't understand why they did that or how they could even do this I need to know how to receive my pay I have a old card and a new card and can't get paid this is crazy ?? she told me before I left the money was on the card in the envelope and the envelope was sealed so how would the card get cancelled out. I have been calling for the last 27 min. All the phone does is ring. I have been trying to get a hold of someone to answer a few questions. I am not sure if the are busy, short staffed, or just plan lazy. Why isn't management helping out. How could they not hear the phone ring off the hook. I guess they don't want new fonors. Just sad.

They are horrible! Somebody needs to train them on guest service, it's apparent that 80% of the staff doesn't want to be there, get a different job then! Are they held against their will there or something cuz they look miserable.

One of the supervisors lied and said I followed her out of the parking lot when she told me she couldn't help me when I hadn't received my payment a hour after I donated. This happened a couple of months ago but it's hard to not think about it when I come here. I feel it should have been investigated further(check your cameras). Never ever again. Never have my donation been so screwed up. Machine kept going no flow. Techs seemed to not know what was wrong.. Hematoma in one arm. Techs laughed. Switched arms and still flow issues. Never had these issues with any other donations with other centers. 2 hours with a needle in my arm. Disgusting service.

I must say my first time there was pleasant and surprisingly enjoyable the staff was really friendly and professional the facility was nice and clean it wasn't crowded like most places. I highly recommend if you don't want to deal crowds and unprofessional staff this is the place to come for great staff and clean facility. I don't remember the guy who did my intake process but he was pleasant and professional made the experience a quick and easy experience

This place is constantly understaffed and unprepared. They never answer the phone. the one heavy set white lady with short hair i believe she is a nurse she is rude and very unprofessional and I heard her talk to a donor so rude because he came on the wrong day besides her saying it respectfully she said it very nasty and made that man feel very uncomfortable

Lord have Mercy on my soul! Literally a 30 minute wait in the lobby. I'm on 38 minutes sitting in this uncomfortable bed. And still waiting. This is ridiculous. Get employees. Jesus! Updating: just waiting and waiting for someone to notice my green light and the man next to me that's been green for 20 minutes. This is a joke. Got here at 3:23 and it's 5:55 and I'm still in this place just waiting.

The staff works hard. Been understaffed with the pandemic but they handle the pressure well. Charles brightens up the place when working. Never fails always happy everything and asks how you're doing and very personable. He really makes it a nice environment and positive.

I've been donating since they opened in 2011. On the first donation it's always a long process up to 5 hours. When you become a regular donor it's a 2 hour wait. Sometimes it's hard to get a hold of someone when you call there's only 2 people up front. They have they best bonuses too!

It's very insensitive for people to make very nasty , hateful and mean reviews when you don't know what the people at this place deal with. Part of this problem is because the employees are moving slow, the bigger problem is because they are only using half of the beds that they have in the back. Employees are rude to the donors, very little effort to expedite process when it concerns return donors. Today i sat in the waiting area for over two hours, and as a return donor myself, that should never be the case. It is evident the employees care very little for moving things along, and when any questions are brought up, their attitudes are very curt, suggesting annoyance.

Went as a new donor last week,they had me sit for almost 5 hrs just to tell me my iron was too low,mind u I take iron pills and eat right,,went back today waited 4 hrs and got told the same thing because the girl who screened me didn't fill the tube all the way up. They are just too slow and have no reasonable explanation for it. Sometimes yoy will wait in the lobby sometimes two, three, ive even waited 4 hours before even getting screened. The staff members are nice and friendly at times but very unprofessional for the most part.

The first time I went I couldn't donate because they needed a blood sample, the second time everything was great until I got in the chair the lady that stuck me was rude and I had to give another blood sample which was ok until the last time I decided to donate as a new donor again but the employee was professional and quick but when I got in the chair the needle went through my vein and they told me it will be fine but it still doesn't feel fine.

Yearly I choose to give plasma in springtime. Last year I came here after a bad experience elsewhere. I received the same treatment and even seen staff who flees the ?elsewhere ? still I chose to go. I experienced rude employees who use deferments as a tool to threaten the donors who complained about their staff and mistreatments. I'm on the phone as we speak trying to get ahold of this place that is SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN. I've sat and watched employees ignore the phone while waiting in the lobby, I've called 15 times over the last hour because they allowed it to ring and ring. Great place to donate plasma, very cool staff, and very professional, I was super nervous at first but they made me comfortable and helped me to relax and it was easy from that point, definitely recommend

The staff are very knowledgeable, caring and took time to explain everything to me in detail. Even with the almost 100 people that were there, the employees made sure to give us all their individual attention. The location was very clean and well kept.

Rude, unclean, unprofessional. October of last year, suddenly I was told that I wasn't able to donate, not enough protein. Today, was told rather rudely that I'd have to donate a sample. The pickins are slim in Michigan, cheap donation rates, crappy attitudes. I'm sure a staff member or two are the ones writing the positive reviews.

The Farmington hills plasma has a very outstanding Freindly staff. They know mostly everyone by first name..they are quick to get you in and out and they make sure everyone makes their appointments .I love this location and you will too..

Unprofessional and outdated are the two words I'd use to describe this plasma donation center. On the website it says by appointment only, when I called I was told no appointment is necessary, but when I get here they tell me you do need an appointment. Employees are not friendly or customer service oriented and a little too stuck up for the 300 to 400 dollars they are paid each week. Please tighten up or shut it down.

All these bad reviews are liars i was just there 3 wks n a month ago. Don't believe everything yu read the service is great n I've never spent more than 2 hrs there. Everything leading up to the donation went smoothly, but the donation itself was a nightmare. I have donated plasma at least a dozen times before at Octapharma and never had any issues. Here, the first nurse completely missed my vein, then asked her coworker for help on the second try. After about 10 minutes the needle slipped and the machine stopped working. I called someone over who tried to reposition the needle and instead blew the vein out. Then she tried to force the red blood cells back into my arm o

Good, friendly staff and clean work area. It is however, almost impossible to get someone to answer the phone. Any questions or problems, your best bet is to go up there in person to talk to someone. Unfortunate and frustrating issue but good business other than that.

I wasn't too pleased with this place at all. They made me fill out all this paper work sit there for 4 hours and go through the entire starting process just to tell me I couldn't donate that I have to wait to December to donate. They also have a lack of staff

I called before going and was told I could donate blood while taking furosemide. However, after being there for 40 minutes I was turned down AND was told I had to have a doctor certify I was off hypertension meds for at least two days before I could donate. Essentially, I had to get sick or possibly die before I could donate. After checking several cites about this I found out the staff lied and wasted my time, money and sense of trust.
