This place is very clean professional and has some of the most confident medical staff I've seen. The communication there is wonderful everyone is very clear when speaking and asking questions and giving instructions. I recommend this location.

This is ridiculous it's always a problem wit the system at this place and for them to say thank you for your donation but we don't know when u will be paid said enough I stopped coming because there's rude ppl at the front they move very slow and the system is always goin down I've had it I tried again almost a yr later n there's no change I most likely won't be back smh if only I could rate negative stars

I'm planning on returning to donate plasma, at the Hyattsville location. As someone who did donate at the Riverdale Location, & mostly in Portsmouth & Virginia Beach, Virginia. NEVER had issues regarding my right lower leg. I look into the regulations & "having cellulitis on past occasions" can't defer you from donating. I've been coming to Octapharma Plasma for 2 months now and I must say each visit is a wonderful experience, from walking in your immediately greeting with great customer service and attitude. Upon getting on the donor floor your greeted again from the phlebotomist. The center is clean. The staff are positive and helpful. They're open seven days a week giving you more flexibility with your schedule to help the community and get compensated for your time with that being said thumbs up.???? I visited the Octapharma in Riverdale, MD on 1 Jul. It was my first time donating plasma. I had a 2:30 pm appointment. The facility was clean and orderly. The staff was friendly and professional. The wait to check in was minimum. It took about 30 minutes. For first time donors, you have ti do a health screening. I did not see the health professional until 2 HOURS later. A staff member announced that there was only one person that was at work to do the screening. The screening took about 30 minutes and I fin

Opal was awesome from start to finish. She was on intake, but made sure I was good through entire process. As a phlebotomist myself, I am very critique full when my blood is drawn due to bad veins. She was awesome!

Kirby, Kelsie, and most of the staff are cool. I gave it 1 star because this is the THIRD time I've shown up on time but the EMT didn't. Each time they were an hour late. They should have a plan B by now where one person doesn't crash the whole entire process. Even looking at the reviews, it's understandable why there is no urgency to rectify, as the only comments that get any direct responses are the ones praising the rest of the staff.

Everything went good, as always. I use the Riverdale Facility, and will be back there at the next donation time.

The staff is extremely unprofessional, inexperienced, and immature. Going to this location is like volunteering to be experimented on by middle schoolers. They argue amongst themselves and disrespect the donors. The location should?ve been shut down. If it wasn't for it being in an area stricken by poverty they would have been. This location just takes advantage of the fact that most of their donors are down on their luck and want a fast $40. It's truly sad and depressing.

Each time I've been there, they only have 1 or 2 people to process a long line of people. No one comes to help, knowing it would only take 15 to 20 minutes with 2 more people to get the line down to reasonable. I had a very pleasant intake experience with Blanca Morales recently. Her demeanor was cordial, unassuming and professional. I especially liked her gentle manner when taking blood, temperature and pressure. I didn't get that assembly line feeling like I do at some other health settings.

If you are anemic or you have asthma, you will be deferred so there's no point in answering 48 questions at the kiosk. (Only 1 kiosk machine works.) Lines are long and the every process can take an hour before getting done if it's your first time visiting the center.

The ppl that work there are nice. Especially the lady at the front with the glasses and the one that work in the back with dreads! All staff was friendly. No sense of timing. Confusion and no sense of timing or urgency. Needs to be streamlined much better. Arrived at 7AM. Waited for over 2 hours and was not finished with physical to even begin. Have work and other appointments and had to leave. Never completed anything. Not going back.

All of the new staff here at Riverdale is amazing. However, I have to say that Faith the phlebotomist is an amazing person. She's always so friendly and helpful. Ms. Donna is an amazing phlebotomist! Every time I go to Octapharma I look forward to my interaction with her. She never disappoints with her sticks. This plasma place takes very good care of me! I love the stick diamond gives me it's a perfect stick every time(literally no pain)!! Top tier! I can be having a bad day but soon as I walk in here , it feels like home. Sometimes makes me emotional to think about it , times when I can't make it out to this location saddens me because the one in forestville I get the exact opposite treatment and feel so unwelcomed . Tried to find a vein by moving the needle back and forth in my arm after the couldn't find a vein. She left the needle in my arm and asked me what she should do. Then to make matters worse she friend came and asked do I want to try to other side! Heck no! They gave this place a bad name and I won't be going back there agai

The entire staff are outstandingly friendly (special shout out to Miss Opal). The demonstrated technical experience of the staff are exceptional. As a returning donor (2018/3019), I choose the Riverdale location based of previous experience at another Octapharma location that continues to receive negative reviews. Upon arrival, I was greeted by staff who inquired as to how I heard about donating, requested required documents, provided folder to read regarding procedures and view an video to reinforce all information provided. I was asked to go to an interview room, where my information was verified (meet requirements), height and fingerprint scan. I

I am disgusted with the way the lady treated me the last time I was there! She was so unprofessional and in-experience d. She rushed to put the pressure pump on my arm and didn't try to find the vein and was unsuccessful in finding a vein. Then went back and found with the needle trying to find a vein which was very painful. The Then put tape on my arm and asked what I wanted her to do! Don't go to this Plasma Center unless you want in-experienced young girls practicing on your arm.

Was not a good experience. I was getting any good services from the representatives. The people in the front and back were pretty rude and they could not complete my donation.

I would give it 5 stars alone for Ms. Opal, Faith, and Donna! But the attitude of many of the others really brings the place down. If not for those awesome ladies I would 100% go to a different location.

My experience was not a pleasant one. I came when they were running a promotion for $ 700 for donation. I received my first funds for my first donation, then I was told to have medical paperwork filled out by my doctor. My doctor was away so it took about a month. So when I got back I thought I was under the same promotion, I wasn't it was $40, so I started to walk away but since I was there I stayed and then they told me my next donation will be $24.00. I want be back, it's the principal.

Most of the staff there are friendly and helpful. My last experience was horrible as my "sticker " couldn't locate the right vein I had 3 different IVs within 45 min. The last one was extremely painful so she told me she would get an ice pack and take it out in 5 min. She was the only one on the floor so couldn't get bvk to me. I just completed my first experience at this location and it went well was very clean and the workers were pleasant two of the associates that really helped me and help me feel comfortable and safe being it was my first time were Jada at the front desk and Faith the phlebotomist.

I go twice a week and the last few times I've gone run into some inconvenience. I won't get into all of that. However, I will give a major shout-out to Tamera (hope I spelled it correctly) who stuck me perfectly! She went above the scar tissue and when I tell u I went through 4 cycles and the first time it went up to 28%! Second cycle went to 56%. The third was at 81% and I was only at 21 mins. Mind you that was the first time she stuck me! I love her, Ms. Donna, Faith (that's my chica!!), Tiana and Ms. Ki

Been to CSL, been to Biolife and the octapharma in bmore and coming to this riverdale location has been the worst experience at a plasma center I've had. I'm guessing they're understaffed so maybe no one to blame but I'm upset that I was standing in the new donor line for awhile while people in the returning donor line were being tended to. I got to the center around 5 so I wasn't sure I'd be able to donate so I interrupted the lady that was tending to a returning donor and asked her and she said no. No big

Did not have a good experience. Issues with technicians drawing blood. Then I had to come back sixty days later due to the issue -when I got back - I couldn't get the $100 owed anymore but they lowered me down to $40- a rip off. You are there two hours and I was owed at the minimum $70. I was told that when I first signed up after I give seven donations I would receive $70. I only gave five!! I asked why I received such low pay and the excuse was I wasn't there in 57 plus days. Remember it wasn't my faul

Today was my first time ever donating plasma and i can say it was a nice peaceful experience. Make sure you eat a good meal and drink lots of water before you come. You will need your SSC, Your ID and a piece of mail with your address on it. You will go through screenings and have to read some books and watch videos then you will sit and get your blood taken. Everyone was friendly and nice

I've always have a positive experience while at this center. Employees such as Andrew always go above and beyond to make sure each donor has a quality donation. I have small veins and as a new donor, I was a bit apprehensive, but from start to finish, Octapharma Plasma was great. I have been giving plasma for years and have never had such a good impression. Both phlebotomists were the gentlest I have ever had. Even when there was some difficulty, there was no pain during and no bruising afterwards. In my experience, that is no small feat!! Thank you!

I had a bad experience on August 2, 2022, I went in for a blood sample, it took this apparently inexperience tech two times sticking me, and she still couldn't find my vain. I asked for the supervisor, I was told by the supervisor that she couldn't draw my blood and that another tech had to draw my blood, that tech found my vein, and all is well.I recommend that you do not put and inexperience tech drawing someone's blood, could mess around and stick the wrong vein, God forbid!!!

No problems! The plasma donation process was fast and easy. The free wifi helps the time pass. And the staff are helpful and friendly. Financial compensation was quickly process.

The Octapharma Riverdale, Md location is very polite and professional. They're process is one of the quickest in the area, And they are the only plasma donation company still considerate enough to provide donors with cable television on multiple flat screens in a spacious donor facility. And Ms. Opal is a jewel ??... Keep up the good work and attention to details Octapharma Plasma.

Honestly, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave out the door you feel like you're at home. Staff like Faith take the nerves and stress of donating out of your mind and bring you to a calm state that makes donating fun and something I can see myself doing often.

I've been visiting this plasma center for one year. The staff is always professional and courteous but my favorites are Ms Donna and Ms Opal who stand out for their attentiveness, gentleness, and personability.

Thos location is really fast. Its an in and out thing. Staff are welcoming. Environment is clean gotta give them that. This location is where ill be referring people over all the others in the maryland area. But hey thats just my opinion.

Good professional service overall, yet when the woman phlebotomist jabbed, it hurt compared to when I had been there before. Some of the phlebotomists jab with less impact.

I never knew a plasma donation place could get over 4 stars but since going to Octaplasma in riverdale, i see why. And it's completely justified. The staff is great from intake to donation. Easy process in and out

I go to the one in riverdale and all the employees are so great and wonderful they always take care of me and i always look forward to coming in

Everything was good and everyone was professional I give them a 10 I had no problems at all the team is great.

But people should get a least $100.00 for every donation because you draining someone's bodily fluids to make a lot of money for the medication you produce from it and they risking the health saving others.

I was in love with the environment, there was TV?s to make sure I was entertained and there was excellent working staff. Everyone made the experience very enjoyable.

Not too good..they didn't give a chance to adjust blood flow when stopped only once.....they didn't try other arm, or offer water or Gatorade... They said, well gotta come back.

Some people can be too ruff with your vains, some people may need retraining, i can help others with 2 arms and less risk of bleeding out, then 1 bottle of plazma can.

Typical visit takes about 2 hours from arrival to exit which seems reasonable for the payout.

They changed the maximum amount to $65. Who's going to sit there for over an hour getting plasma pumped out of their body for $65 or lower? Not coming back

In the past I've been a little squeamish about giving blood, but the staff and the process at Octapharma Plasma make me very comfortable in donating plasma.

Everyone was nice and helpful but the phlebotomist bruised my arm very badly I was In pain the rest of the day

The manager at the Riverdale location was very rude to me when I brought up that one of staff members was making a lot of mistakes during the process and she kicked me out.
