Went in to donate with a promo bonus offer of $50 after I complete 5 donations in the month of June, which I did. But yet I still never received my bonus, even after being told I should receive it first thing the following morning. And to call the center to ask why my bonus was never added is a complete joke. Because it's not like anyone ever answers.

Just want to say that the entire experience from check in to the time you leave is smooth and hassle free. Shout out to Ilene who checked me in and answered my questions in a kind and professional manner. Also to Mrs. Kathy who is always bright and cheerful and welcomes everyone with a huge smile.

Very friendly and hard working staff. Rosie today was excellent and on point. I never thought of donating but helping people and getting paid is a plus. I recommend this place 100%

My appointment was very pleasant. I had tried to check inn but I didn't realize that I had arrived earlier then what my appointment was. They explained to me that since it wasn't too busy they where able to see me earlier. I was so thankful. Once I checked in and got my vitals done then headed back, it took around 45 min or less to finish. Thanks again to the staff and Mayra for all their help!

I called today to see how much they pay and see what i needed to go back and donate. Myra answered the phone. She was very helpful with the questions I had. Great customer service. The workers there when I use to donate are excellent and very nice. I didn't make my appointment today but I will hopefully next week.

Staff is excellent, always very informative.I always get greeted with a welcome. Mayra the OS is very helpful with any questions asked. I recommend anyone to come in that is in need of extra money, especially if you are a student.

I felt compelled to share my thoughts about one of your remarkable team members at the Bellflower location?Maria! From the moment I walk in, her positive energy and warmth set the tone for my donation experience. Maria handles the screenings with such grace and care, making what can be an anxious process feel entirely calm and comforting. What really impresses me is her proactive approach; she anticipates questions and offers insights effortlessly. It's clear that she genuinely cares about everyone she int

Scam. They don't give u the right amount of money. But they tell you you will and then leave with the least amount after giving them 886 ML of plasma. After I repeatedly asked how much I was going to receive. They lied. After I left, I called to verify the amount on my card. They only gave me 40 dollars. So then I called them and told them the amount I received and the lady told me that's how much I get after I had asked them before they pricked my finger. She reassured me I was getting 100 dollars. But the

I had a captivating experience staff treated me like royalty.Hope did great job she was very patient and kind.Evelyn did great job with my physical and she was very attentive, and Rosie did a remarkable job with my plasma kudos to her.Astonishing service i would give it a A+.-Yo boy Amir

Rude staff, eye rolling, and stupid little comments about how they wanna go home, nah really you think I want to take 3 busses and a train just to sit here for 2 hours before I can even start this process. Will never donate blood or plasma ever again, the tone is "we don't want to deal with you broke people, we wanna go home ??"

I like to thank Valerie for accommodating me with her knowledge of how to stick patients properly, I only trust her when she is on site. She is a nice person who asks how your doing and is very informative ???? thank you for having her on staff ??

The employees are incompetent. I was told verbally about results of a blood test that was concerning. I was given paperwork that I didn't read for an hour from the stress I was feeling about what I heard. When I re-read the paper work( several times to be sure I understood correctly, I have excellent comprehension skills, btw) the paperwork said a whole different thing than what I was told. The next process went by according to how the paperwork proposed and I was summoned again. The same employee talked to

So March new members only get $200 but may gets $400? The new user promo is different every month by hundreds of dollars and it's really shitty to not be consistent and keep it posted everywhere. She said "idk what is what for March but it changes each month...so" without even going back and checking. How absolutely rude can you be?

I would avoid this place at all cost.majority of the staff are awesome. However it's ran horribly. They have a supervisor/manager by the name of Yvette. One of the most disrespectful people I've ever encountered. Has zero respect for people and their time. The .machines are old and slow. She literally told me that my donation is taking too long because the machine is moving slow. Although majority of the staff is awesome I would highly recommend going further down the way to BioLife. I would avoid this pla

Place doesn't pay you. I've had problems Getting payments, and I take time out my day and I haven't got paid for the last 7 times there. If I'm not getting paid to get my blood drawn and poked and answer questions that they want why shouldn't I get paid if I'm expecting to getting paid. Not a place to go unless you want to have faulty results and no pay because of their faulty results

A couple of years back I went in to donate, whenever they started to pump my blood back into me there was the sharp pinching pain, I alerted the nurses after the third time because it was really beginning to become painful and I have a high pain tolerance, they shut off the machine and I asked them to please get the needle out of my arm, but took another 10 minutes to do so because the nurse said I was fine, I told him if I'm in this much pain something is really wrong, he came over he grabbed my arm and bl

Val, Eileen, and Rosie did an excellent job! They were courteous and professional. And take care of a machine before it became a problem. I'm very happy with the service and will always come back to biomet

The only thing that I don't like is the security guard that thinks he works for grifols..he's an older white Persian man . He's annoying by yelling and telling us where the exit doors are when we're actually donating and at what time is our appointment.. I've been doing this for 16 years and I just want to go and donate peacefully without having a security guard yeloing out loudly what to do when that's not even in his job description.ugh

First time donor with appt at 10:30 am. Accused of being a returning donor and given attitude. Had to wait 2 1/2 hours. Physical is good but told I have to wait 2 months, Apr 2025, to donate due to medication taken in Dec 2024. Felt discriminated against due to my sexual orientation. Invasive questions beyond the scope of initial survey. Staff (Hope) should never feel comfortable calling potential donors liars.

Marsalis Kane gave me outstanding professional courteous service. He was very gentle when he gave me the shot and I cannot find any other one like him. He's the best!!!! Give him a raise!!!! Thank you so much, I love donating plasma:)

Valerie demonstrates an exceptional work ethic that consistently clearly contributes to her team's success. Her experience and expertise are invaluable, and she maintains a high level of professionalism in every task she undertakes. Retaining Valerie is crucial for any organization, as her departure could significantly impact overall performance. Given her contributions and dedication from what I notice, a salary increase would be a justified recognition of her efforts.

First Class operation from the Manager (Yvette) to the Security (Tray). Had an excellent process and experience today with Tony and my day was made complete thanks to my highly upbeat interactions with Hortensia and Miss Cathy. I always hated needles but this process is painless thanks to pros like Tony that make up the staff there!!! I highly recommend!

I am blessed to be a donor here. I am helping people I don't know as well as I've made friends with other donors. Only downside in my opinion is that the pay is not what it used to be to be. The pay for donors should be more for what we are doing. Bellflower location has always been clean and I love the staff. They are very helpful when I have questions. They really need a receptionist since when I call they don't answer the phone. Since my husband died this extra money has been a blessing to me. When I sta

I like most of the people here but when I'm waiting over an hour to be hooked up to a machine... that's an issue. 30 mins before the vitals and then to wait in the back for 45+ minutes? Come on...people have things to do and can't wait 2 1/2 - 3 hours to donate. Either get more employees or maybe not have so many appointments booked for each time slot if it can't be managed correctly

Yvette was very helpful with great customer service. If you want to save life?s while earning grifols is the place to go by a long shot !!!!!

The staff here are always very friendly and helpful. Ciara at the front was very professional and gave a good finger prick. Jalisa is excellent! She is always very nice and makes me laugh.

Bianca is always very pleasant patient and friendly. Thank you for treating me with care. Enjoy!

I have been calling for day's now and still nobody is picking up the phone like damn y'all so busy all day that not one person can pick up the phone come on do better

Incompetence in phlebotomy can't draw from both arms , always leaving you bruises and hematomas because they don't train their staff properly and they go to fast even when using a butterfly needle doesn't help the lack of incompetence and training. Make sure everyone is paying attention to what they are doing. They con you with their promos you don't get them at times . I had more than 20 draws here and to be honest I dealt with it but nah incompetence all over top down. I was a phlebotomist prior during th

Very professional and courteous. Knowledgeable and informative. Takes her patients feelings into consideration at all times.

I just love Ms.Kathy she is patient , caring and kind. Always has a smile on her face which makes you smile and takes your worrying away.

Never felt so welcomed here, got treated by Eliana. Honestly meeting someone who makes you very comfortable and confident pays off well

I have like 1 year coming to donate and I have had a great experience everytime especially with my favorite staff Bri Leon does an amazing jod, with an good attitude all time most definitely will recommend her nd other staff as well ????apricate all of them ??

Grifos in Lakewood is a great place to donate plasma. They are fast and friendly. The clinic is clean and, they have nice seating. Their compensation is fair a total of $100 per donation. It is payed using a visa Paysign card. I would recomend this clinic to anyon.e

Rosie did such a great job, I love coming here! The staff is so welcoming, friendly and professional!

Very unprofessional. Asking inappropriate questions that had nothing to do with plasma donation. Had me going back and forth for a doctors to state I'm clear to donate but wanted details on my personal medical history . Which my doctor told me himself had nothing to do with donating. He wrote me a letter saying I am medically cleared for plasma donation and that there is no known risk to donator . they still turned me down and had an attitude.

Val is the best. She never misses and when I need adjustments she always comes fo fix my needle and makes my donation go smoothly

I love coming here but yall need to have more respect and empathy for your clients.

One of not the best place to donate very professional and respectful Ilene is the nicest employee here everyone come check it out for yourself

Rosie has great customer. She is always super friendly and helpful

Briana M is the best sticker and great customer service. Zenovia is super kind and fast worker. Definitely recommend

I have been coming to donate plasma at this location and I have no complaints. The staff is professional, they know exactly what they are doing, their machines are well calibrated - which means that my pulse is never read inaccurately and the establishment is clean. Most people that work here are friendly, some are more on the serious side, and that is ok too. I LOVE Ms Kathy. She is such a good soul. Her voice fills the lobby with so much joy. And if you end up being checked in by her, you get to interact

Saudi nat Brianna are the sweetest and nicest I always enjoy coming to my appointment they do a good job ty ladies

Bellflower,Ca. Today's visit was a pleasant one. Sadie was courteous and presented herself professionally.

Good customer service too assistant manager jennina

I LOVE MS KATHY!!! She is the absolute best!! She makes every donation experience so memorable and fun! Val and Chelsea are fabulous. Great staff!

Very clean and organized. The staff disinfected every bed after someone used it. Appointment always on point no more delays. Staff very friendly and respectful. Always helpful with any questions and let not forget the extra bonus. Alway working hard.

I came in for my 4th donation this month thinking ama get paid $45 an getting the 100$ bonus on my 6x but no! Sadly they hit me with some BS, cause I just finished my new Donor fees. So they started me on return Donor fees which is 30$. Weak!! Not only do they lie, they take there sweet time attending U! New Donors Can Not Make Up too 500$ in there first month! The most u can make is $50+75+75+30+35+40=305$ thats 6x donating Add another 2x donations=400$ Only 4weeks in each month / donate 2x a week /

I recently visited Biomat and had an exceptional experience. The staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. The facility is clean and well-organized, making the donation process smooth and comfortable. They communicated each step clearly and ensured I was comfortable throughout. I highly recommend Biomat Bellflower to anyone considering donating plasma. Thank you for the positive experience!

It was a great experience and all the staff are really friendly and break it down for you on the whole procedure and how it works! It's not painful at all and plus your helping people out. I will be coming back to donate some more. Time goes by quick . Bring some earphones with you to pass time on your phone.

Ortencia by far has the best customer service she is helpful and friendly and will answer any question you have she is very good at her job highly recommend

It's always a great experience with the staff at the bellflower location. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do there best to make the plasma procedure the best and most comfortable as possible

Hands down the most unprofessional staff in the area. I don't recommend this location until they get a management overhaul.

Feb 2025. In all the years I have been donating at Grifols, I am always treated with kindness and respect. I have never had a bad experience and I am so grateful for the all the wonderful experiences that I have always had. I get a long very well with every staff member, it must be my charming personality lol. The staff is professional and friendly. Always super sweet to me. My wait times are hardly ever long and I'm usually in and out in 2 hrs or less. I have nothing negative to say about all of my experie

Manager Jennina they are the best and they really help with service and she deserves so much because she always helping everyone so is the bossYvette

This place is poorly run. The past 3 times I had appointments I didn't get seen till almost 3 hours later. They only had one person taking vitals when there's 5 stations, they don't compensate you when it's their errors...

Zenovia and Briana were amazingly professional, friendly and funny . Would recommend them to anyone!!

Zenovia was real professional and quick on her feet she know what's she's doing it was a pleasant visit

Want to give a high five shout out to everyone at the Bellflower location. You All Rock! Very professional and friendly. You have the best tech's around. I've been to other centers, but they don't even compare. Thank you very much and keep up the amazing work you do.

It's always nerve recking coming but the phlebotmist are really nice and always make me feel at ease

Don't expect for them to ever honor your appointment. It's been months now that I show up EARLY for my appointment, and I don't get processed or hooked up for 1.5 hrs or more AFTER my appointment time. It's absurd. I hear more about the staffs personal life than I care to. Who needs a break room when you have the donation floor ??

Donating plasma here has been a great experience. Everyone is very professional and I'm always in and out pretty quick. Valerie is quick and painless in her stick and is a Great trainer. Rosie has caught on quick with her training as I have observed and experienced also.

I have been donating now for a little over a year. The staff are always great. They have never had an issue with finding my vein. I love to help others, plus added bonus you get money put on an ATM-like card. The only drawback I have had was a false positive screening (they recheck you about every 4 mos) so I was scared as heck with a positive result. I had to go to my Dr to get the test retaken, then wait for results and have my Dr write a clearance letter, then had to bring it back to Biomat then they re

They spilled blood all over my tan leather jacket and are not compensating me for it.

BriL. Great bed side manners and gentle touch. Everyone here is amazing.

Some useless "new girl" completely messed up my vein so awful they sent me home with half pay and my view is now ruined.

Horrible experience they lie on the phone calls they act like they know what they are doing and what they say is accurate the manager attitude is rude and they don't answer the phone here the manager needs to go under reviews she is stealing funds horrible customer service

I always have a good experience when I go there. When Bertha is there, I always request her because she's very helpful and informative if I have questions. Bertha is very thorough and professional. You have a very good employee working for Grifols?THANK YOU

I've been donating here for 4 years and I love Grifols Bellflower! Staff are friendly and quick and if you run into any issues, they'll hear you out and work on them.

First time patient over all experience was so bad other then the nice young lady that felt with me she did not hurt me at all but that wait was ridiculous I waited 4 hours to get out of there I understand first time is going to take a lil longer but 4 hours is ridiculous they should prioritize there first time patients!!! And then the compensation card is ridiculous I went to atm to withdraw funds and was charged for insufficient funds and account balance after my 4 donations I will not being going back tha

I've had such a great experience here in the bellflower location! Everyone is so friendly and nice, it's a little nerve wrecking getting poked but Valeria did a great job, I didn't feel a thing !

I really really enjoy donating at this facility; the staff are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. I've been donating for almost 6 years at this facility and keep coming back all the time. Even though I am paid for my services, the main reason I donate... is to help those who need it and to make a difference in the lives of those people I'll never meet. My real payment?, is knowing that someone is living longer; because I donated a life saving source. And I love Ms Kathy Thank you for letting me mak

Great staff. Very quick service. Love this place

A great place to donate your plasma. The staff are usually always friendly, and customer service is always great. You can check in and go through the whole process in a good amount of time, depending on the time of day and how many donors are there at one time. But the whole process usually takes no more than 2 hours, especially on a bad day.

I have been going here since last year. I have a blind going blind disease and I had to give them my charts to wear my prescription sunglasses inside with all the lights. I like going here but what I don't like, is when the staff constantly has to ask or Harris me about wearing my sunglasses for months now. They know who I am and I have things I. My charts but they always come up to me saying ?you need to take those off? or ?you can't wear those? or even if I say it's in my charts or it's medical I would ge

It is a very clean environment sometimes very attentive staff that help the process of donating when it's not busy runs smoothly and when it's very busy it might seem not so smoothly and not so pleasant of an experience but understandably so, by no means a bad on their part but just like everything in Lifem..That's Just The Way It Goes......Thanks Biomat????

Brianna Leon is the nicest person in here and is quick at her job.

Need quicker process waiting time is to long ro get to back to donate

Hard working Staff with good hearts.... However, they're "Short Staffed" and they Harley ever answer their phones. Within the past 7 weeks and 17 calls later... I finally got through ?????????? There's no excuse not to answer their phone lines ?? They would be a five star if they were fully staffed. It's not the employees fault, it's the managers responsibility.

My favorite place to donate. :) The staff is friendly, the center is clean, and the process is very easy. I've been coming here for years, and I highly recommend it

Biomat Bellflower has really stepped up their game these last couple of months. Waiting times both in the office and on the beds has decreased substantially. What used to be a 2 hour visit is now only one. They seem to have more techs working the front now. They also pre-assign the beds after intake evaluation so there is no guessing as to where you should go once you are cleared. You get a card that tells you exactly what bed to take. I have always liked their app and how easy it is to change appoint

I met the manager Yvette, who has a great personality, great customer service and great energy. She is an awesome person, but the sad thing is she is a Chiefs fan, I. definitely not a hater, I'm just natural 49ers great fan. Biomat has lots of great workers with great attitudes, nothing negative to say about Biomat in Bellflower.

Update sep 6th 830am The front staff supervisor, Keith, is the most unprofessional, just here to talk to girls, lazy, self entitled worker at this location. Full room of people waiting to be screened, they just opened up 8 beds, and he wants to have a convo with his coworker who arrived late about what she did last night. What's the point of making an appointment when every single time I've been to this location, they are an hour behind on appointments. In 15 minutes they went from being 30 minutes behind

The staff here are really nice. However, this place is SEVERELY understaffed. I typically have to wait 60-90 minutes to even get screened. More than half of the donation beds are not in use because there aren't enough staff members to run the collection process.

This place needs to hire employees that won't be calling off consistently. I can see the whiteboard with all the employee's names that called off. Which is causing a 1hr+ wait time. A lot of people here are complaining about it, which is understandable, and thinking of going to Bio Life down the street instead. I'm one of them, tired of wasting more than 2 hrs of my day here.

SERIOUSLY TREY THE SECURITY GAURD HAS TO BE THE BEST PART OF THIS PLACE. HE'LL HEAR A NAME CALLED, AND ACTUALLY GO CHECK THE BATHROOMS OR OUTSIDE TO MAKE SURE NOONE GETS BYPASSED. ALWAYS WALKING THE GROUNDS, ALERT, IVE NEVER SEEN HIM ON HIS PHONE OR SITTING. GREAT GUY. IM 65 YRS OLD AND I JUST FEEL A LOT BETTER KNOWING HES HERE. THANK YOU. He gets 10000 stars review. Everyone else has super perfect bedside manner, painless and swift and communication about process everyone is all around excellent. I don'

It's a good environment yea it takes a lil long but the wait will b well rewarded staff is kind nice free wifi and compensation is good plus there referral program and for new comers I recommend going cuz for ur first four times goin is automatic one hundred dollars and fifty bucks if u refer another new comer just dnt eat greasy food day before ur donation.

Honestly the best center I've been to. The people are amazing, it's fast and soo clean. 10/10 would recommend

I have been donating plasma at the Grifols in Bellflower, CA for over a year. Staff is friendly, facility is clean, puts some extra in my pocket, and it feels good knowing I'm helping those who benefit from lifesaving medicine made from plasma.

They never answer the phone when I try to call !!!

Really great staff always super helpful. Any time I have an issue it's always solved quickly and efficiently especially when terry is manager for the day! He's always super cool and has helped me more than any other grifols employee! Today's actually his Birthday and he's still here didn't call off like a lot of people would and I respect that. Ms Kathy is also super nice and very helpful

First time donor, had an appointment in the early afternoon. I waited close to 3 hours before I decided to leave! They were calling ALL of the returning donors and holding off on calling the new donors (this was obvious). The staff was polite, but did not inform me of the extremely long wait or check in with me at any point to give me a status update or assure me I'll be called soon. At the 2 hour and 45 minute point, I gave up on waiting. Which sucks because I actually have one of the rarer blood types. Bu

Terrible service. They tell you to plan for a 2-hour appointment your first time, and that there is only a 10-minute grace period for donors to arrive. 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time, they hadn't even taken my information to verify it or given me the paperwork to sign. You would think they could at least give you your paperwork as soon as you get there? When I asked how much longer it would be, they told me I was next. Over the course of the next half hour, they called three other first time

***UPDATE*** Valerie is still the G.O.A.T ?? My donation is complete the fastest and smoothest whenever she hooks me up!

They rarely answer their phone and when they do they intentionally hang up. I even called their costumer care line to get my questions answered and report this issue however when the line transferred me to an agent it was silent until I repeatedly said hello then an agent rudely started mumbling and I let him know I could not understand him and he sighed and said give me your first and last name and when I did he was just silent again so I hung up, very unprofessional and unorganized. Don't expect them to h

Update May 2023: Went in with an appointment and was told there is a 2 hour wait. Another time I had an appointment at 6:45 pm and when I arrived they were closed. Why offer appointments if they are going to close early. Always double check the pay because they over promise and underdeliver. They make any excuse to not have to honor their promotion. I had a hard time with the front office. They were just rude, so I ended up not donating. I asked the guy if I could have someone bring the social secur

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.. for first time donors takes long time but once ur past ur first time its can be as fast as u can pump.. extremely clean environment.. must wear mask..

Cat stuck me very well I was very pleased with her service

Not worth it. when it comes to your money, they have a tricky way to give you less.

Very efficient, courteous, professional, great experience overall!

Worst and overwhelming center is ghetto and the wait is long if you don't have an appointment. I will never come back I was rejected I have sczophrenia and ADHD and take meds for it and was deferred. This is not right I been to another center and was accepted with those medications. Bad for donations and bad for me how unfortunate on both ends..I should have been a headache too to them i waited 4 hours just to be told I cannot donate..

The director of this facility isn't doing a very good job. They have exceeded taking in patients in comparison to the staff they have available. It takes so long to get even called up for an initial process to begin donating now. I feel for the staff that has to deal with it daily, not so much for the management that has allowed. They have risen incentives for new donors before considering hiring the appropriate staff to accommodate it. It's clearly all of numbers sake.

This place is officially terrible and not worth spending your plasma on. I suggest finding a better company even if it's for their initial joining bonus and then you can decide what to do. This Grifols location, specifically, is no longer what I remember it being even just a year ago. ? No one ever answers the phone at the front desk or anywhere else. ? No one ever calls back even when you leave multiple messages asking that they do.... ? They never call you back or explain anything to you without leaving

Had a 1pm appointment for my first time physical and did not get disconnected till 7:11pm...... this place is less than mediocre.... wanted to try somewhere closer to home seeing as I usually go to OCTAPHARMA'S Anaheim location, but it seems as tho the distance is worth it (regarding time). You are supposed to recieve $100 on your first 4 visits as long as you go 4x in a 30 day period..... !!!SOLID LIE!!! My second visit, in less than 5 five days I received $75... Jipped outta $25.... called the center, of

Should have been 0 stars. Two hours of my time I will never get back. Go if you want your time wasted with no pay.

If you love helping people , you will love Grifols ??

Update 2/8. Still not staffed adequately. It looks like this place is going to close soon if they can't keep employees. Are you paying minimum wage? Every new review says the same thing. Your responses to the reviewers complaints are comical in the way you dont address the continuous staff shortages. You can keep sending me texts offering a bonus to come back, but my max time at the center is 1 hour and 45 minutes. 3 hours is unacceptable. Also, no one answering phones is a red flag. As bad as the bathr

They are always short staffed and making excuses on why they can't take new donors, today I called to avoid waisting gas I was told over the phone they were accepting new donors but it will be a wait, I made my way up there in 20 minutes for them to tell me that they have paused on taking new donors which is why I'm making this review, they accepted the first two people in front of me but insisted I either come back the next day or wait until 3pm when I arrived at 1pm very unprofessional. Why operate if you

Brianna Leon was helpful, professional, and easy to get along with.

Been trying to get an appointment for about 3 months now. I have called many of times (no one ever answers) and messages left are never returned. Good thing there is Octapharma Plasma. they are more organized and saw me with in a week. You loss their gain....

Worker Was Great..id Advice Everbody Looking for a Donor too go here and Look For Valerie perfect!!

Very blessed to share my plasma donation experience with other great donors like myself and the most exceptional staff that make everything happen so smoothly and efficiently as possible. Thank you guys. ??

Walk-in for a new patient takes 7 hrs. Seriously. If you arrive at noon, like i did, you'll leave at 7pm when they close. Plan ahead. If they mess up a few times on your paperwork, like they did to me, it's longer than that. Not very organized here. Some of the employees are nice, some aren't at all. Not a great experience but not the worst ever. At least they have wifi.

I was very nervous about coming in because it was my first time but I really needed the extra cash but ms.GER made me feel so comfortable and very helpful in nice . Then when I got to the back melody very caring and she does make sure you're comfortable I will recommend when you guys come in ask for GER and Melody I will be returning !

The people are nice, but this place is poorly run. I scheduled to have a physical at 4:30 pm. I didn't get seen till almost 7pm. Who use time to just throw away two and a half hours like that?? Worse than a county hospital. Stop packing in appointments and schedule people appropriately.

Below is my original review, but since the response from this dishonest company, I felt like updating that I did try to go to the website "contact us" page but it won't allow the contact to be submitted. Just more evidence of what kind of terrible company this really is. The staff here are nice, but the company is clearly awful, they are always understaffed and half the time one of the 2 restrooms is out of order. The company clearly doesn't care about it's staff or donors.

Super disorganized. Staff work hard and quickly try to get people through the door but donors sit waiting in the beds for over an hour before the donation begins. My appointment was at 4:15, I left at 7 pm and didn't donate. Beds were not sanitized between donations. Hire more staff or accept less appointments. This is DANGEROUS if a donor passed out or had a medical emergency the staff here is so busy they wouldn't be able to respond. I closed my eyes for the last 15 minutes and no one noticed or addressed

I feel like I get followed to an from plasma center it's very uncomfortable an weird

HORRIBLY UNDERSTAFFED AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I had an appointment at 10:30AM, and after being screened, had to wait almost an hour for a free bed, still haven't been hooked up yet. The staff in the donation area is unprofessional & unfocused, more interested in talking to their coworkers than doing their job, I'm sitting on a bed, watching them laugh & joke as I'm typing this, still not hooked up to a machine!!! Terrible service, they force you to make an appointment for your first donation & they can't eve

It's only one hand full of professional employees that work here most of them are unprofessional to be honest & the wait time always be 1 hour & 30 mins just to get to the bed & hooked up with a appointment it's crazy

If you're new to this place be prepared to not be cared about at all. I showed up at 7:30 and still hadn't even been checked in by 10 am. I was well past my 4 hour eating mark and when I went up to get my ID so I could leave the lady at the counter rudely told me to go to McDonald's across the street. When I told her I'd rather not because I had other things to do and I hadn't expected to be here for hours waiting around she grabbed my ID and flung it on the counter. I swear I wasn't rude in anyway I hate r

I've been coming here for almost a year now and every trip has been great. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I remember being so nervous about starting to donate plasma, but the wonderful workers here really make it an easy and comfortable process. I especially appreciate their efforts in making the environment as safe as possible during Covid-19 times. Overall, it's been really great donating here and I'd highly recommend.

I know someone that goes here and had a few problems with the nurses taking blood. Aside from that THEY NEED TO ANSWER THE PHONE THOSE LADIES GOSSIP MORE THAN A TABLOID AND THE SECURITY IS BAD TOO I WITNESSED SOMEONE COME OUT OF THERE WITH A PHONE, TURN IT OFF AND JUMP ON THE BUS. MY MAIN POINT IS TO ANSWER THE PHONE

Conversing with Nely is always a good experience for me.

I love the staff at this center!! They are attentive, friendly, and always make me feel comfortable on my visits; particularly on the floor during the donation process. I've been to other centers that weren't as clean & where the staff could careless about anything more than their $$. At this center, its always clean & the staff are present to make sure you're having the best possible experience from start to finish. I drive way from LA to donate at this center on Lakewood for these reasons.

I've donated over the years at various centers and this place is one of the nicest. It's clean and modern, that's the first thing that stands out. The staff I mostly interact with are nice and social and usually pleasant. It can get pretty crowded depending on the time of year or day but they implemented an appointment system. It keeps you from waiting for hours. The sign in/questionnaire process is really smooth as well. The only problem I see there is sometimes the machines don't pick up the finger scan.

Love this place :) such friendly staff ! Everything is quick and easy my fav place to come and donate

Very clean, very nice staff, an not a long wait at all

Just wanted to say I had a very hospitable experience here at Grifols thanks to Bredford. The receptionist at the new donor desk there was a little misunderstanding. And he went respectfully cleared up the issue and was not rude. That really went a long way with me cause others have been rude. We live in a time unfortunately where people aren't treated like humans anymore. So when I come across souls who still do it's delightful to see.

Alan an Efran are very pleasant and efficient employees. Made the experience a lot less painful

People there are always nice. They should get a raise for a few of the people with attitudes that need adjustment.

If you want to help save lives & earn a little extra income while doing it, this place is the place for you. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. I love coming here. I have been going here for almost 4 years now and I have never had a problem donating. They are super precautious during he whole covid pandemic & they make sure they make you feel safe while donating.

I've been donating here since October of 2019. These guys are always nice and I feel really welcoming here. They know me by name now because I donate twice a week, every week. I always feel good when I come in because they're always super helpful and respectful. They help me change my times, and are never aggravated about mishaps or situations that may cause out of schedule help. I really hope I can still come here for a long time to come.

My favorite donor center I've been to! Very friendly staff and clean environment. Appointments usually take about an hour, longer for first times for their intake. All funds get automatically deposited and they have all sorts of cool incentives to give. Come save some lives! ??

I stopped coming last year bc the nurses would continually struggle with my vein & I was marked as such. However, I returned last month, to my pleasure, am now requesting Nurse, Bertha. She does an Excellent job & gets the needle inserted the very 1st time, every time! Bertha was not there Saturday & after a couple inserts & adjustments , 2-nurses were unable to get to the vein. Bertha is friendly & always courteous. I know she can't be there every weekend but I'll be requesting her for my plasma donati

Horrible. I went there and wasted my time three times. The first time I was in the waiting room for over two hours, only to have them tell me I'm denied over a supplement taking. Understandable but kind of ridiculous I had to wait two hours despite having an appointment. The second time I come 30 min after they open and there's already a six hour wait (they no longer take appointments only walk ins). The third time I come in, after coming in at 5:30am, they say my doctor note is unacceptable because it does

One of the most welcoming places I've been too yet. Not only do we as donors do our part but it takes a good staff to keep it going. The ladies are funny n always smiling n the guys are very nice. Thank you for always being A1!!!

This location is open. Make sure to come prepared with a mask, wash your hands and sanitize to make sure you are keeping yourself safe. Washing your hands every 30mins with help you avoid germs and prevent the chance of COVID. Even though this place is open, they sometimes get very busy. Staff are very kind with assisting you. There may be a day you come in and they say they are not taking appointments because of the capacity or they are short on staff. You may need to come back when they can see you. Make

I've been coming here since this year Super Bowl an I love it. Everyone here is professional & caring. I donate because of religious purposes through my church & I'm actually scared of needles, I've told the staff nurses this an they insured me that they'll make me comfortable an the process will be seamless to the point that I wouldn't even notice. This is my 10th time here an I love the staff & the process is easy & painless

It's very clean. All the staff have a smile on their face and they are very friendly. They explain everything to you before they start. They make sure your comfortable at all times and they check on you to make sure your not in any pain. I love coming here. I appreciate they staff and everything they do

Up til right NOW, things have gotten a bit tough!!! I haven't been donating ALL because the supervisor HASN'T looked at charts!!! I've been waiting for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!!! AND JUST because I'm in a wheelchair, it gets harder and harder. The nurses INSIDE are friendly as hell. It's just that they take their time with important things like THIS is the ONLY money I get because I'm in a wheelchair. ?????? It's hard finding a job that will hire someone in a wheelchair so THIS IS my ONLY source of money!!!

Long waits, low staff. Annoyed. ??

From the front door to finish, the staff and management are spot on. Very professional, efficient, and friendly. Genuinely nice people doing a great thing, day after day, and displaying the very definition of caring. All highly trained. Outstanding experience, from start to finish.

I have been a donor here for two and half years, I am really disappointed how all the old employees that use to work here have left because now we have you g folks that clearly didn't pay attention in school, and must have had others do the work for them. I came here today because I needed extra cash and only to get turned away twice. First time was because they ran out of supplies, so I rescheduled and came back a later time only to be turned away again due to same reason and they told me that they didn't

Terribly disorganized, Why do they force us to make an appointment to donate, if they aren't going to keep the appointment themselves? Donors only get a 10 minute grace period to be late, but when I show up on time, how come they get to keep me waiting for over an hour after my appointment time??

I have been donating for several months now and every time I do, the experience is wonderful. Bianca (one of the managers) is very helpful. The location is very clean and I always feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and answers all of my questions.

After an hour and a half of waiting I asked why I hadn't been call I was told there was a glitch and just like that my name disappeared? and that I would be allowed to be next, well I was only added to the list. And when I told this to a girl on the back she said that she would see me right away but the younger girl in charge which is not always in charge decided to ignore me and let me waiting another hour, there were over 10 people that kept looking at me and who knew I got there there before they did and

I absolutely love this place! The staff here are very friendly, and welcoming. They are always so pleaseant. Ive been to three centers including this one and by far this has been the MOST cleanest, and sanitary place. If you are thinking about donating let this be your first choice. They will walk you through everything as they did with me and answer every question you have. Reviews are everything take my word on this ive been a patient here for a little over a year in a half and have NEVER had a problem.

I'll give this place 4. Usually it's fast after the first appointment but they do get backed up and run a little behind when it's really busy. They do a good job saying it is up to you to know when you can donate again. Which is weird because they say you can come every two days. Although only twice a week. Oh and even if you wait more than two days between visits the first two times you come per month you have to donate on those same days or later in the week. For example: I went on Tuesday/ Saturday, then

One of my worst experiences with donating plasma!!!! I came in as a first time donor and was told the wait time was going to be 4-6 hours which was fine for me but I ended up waiting for 9 hours only to be deferred for the for having my blood pressure 2 numbers above normal. Not only was it a waste of my time and day, but I ended up being able to donate that same day at another location. Definitely wouldnt recommend for new donors

The staff are always helpful, courteous and polite. If you have any questions about anything they are very willing to answer. First time you come allow up to 5 hours to fill out paperwork get your physical and donation. The normal time after is about 1 to 2 hours. Bring either a blanket or dress in pants as it is kind of cold in the back. Help save lives and make a little money at the same time.

Please find more employees for this place or have better organization, there's no reason where I have to wait 40+mins to finally get hooked up to start pumping on the machine, while the following people in line behind me start asap because their assigned row has less people in it. It's not the workers fault, but the way it's unfairly set up for people who schedule early, just to end up waiting for nothing.

The first time coming was bit of a hassle but after the second and third visit. The time waited became shorter with each visit. Just need to pick the right time. Love that we get paid after each donation. Will be coming back again. Love the staff in front and in the back They are very polite. Will recommend.

I went here to donate plasma they didn't let me because supposedly my veins were to small I had all the documentation including a picture of my social security according to the nurse I only needed a picture of my ss card I came back next week and a different nurse said I need a physical card extremely bad service and mediocre individuals work here that don't appropriately exercise there company's policys.

So I took a few health classes and was told how much it would help people with blood disorders if I only donated a few times. Also they pay you which is another incentive but that's not the point. I came the first time and after a really long wait a really nice man with glasses helped me with my first donation. I though nice, I'm helping people, being treated really nice and even being paid a small fee. So you can imagine my surprise when I return for the second visit when the front desk lady misses my name

I have now donated over 40 times and I have found this to be a great place, it's the people that make it so. If you have a heart to help those in need with your plasma donations then you'll be glad with the time you spend here. It can get cold inside, they run the ac so as long as you wear some comfortable clothes and have a sweater you'll be good. They also have many TVs playing different kinds of shows and choice movies and it is easy to find yourself in a few very friendly conversations with cool people.

The staff here are great! As a returning donor, the process from start to finish seems to fly by. 1st time donors have more steps to complete, so should free up their day before coming and read the tips on website. Thanks for being here so we can donate!

So I went yesterday for my first time and based on the reviews i was a little nervous but figured I'd go and see for myself anyway. Everything was great, the nurses are very caring (especially night staff). im not sure why everyone on here is complaining about? But oh well. Obviously your first time is going to take more time of course. They check to make sure youre healthy and in a good place to donate, im definitely going to become a regular here.

Great place to donate. Bertha is always friendly and greets all with a smile which makes you feel welcome. She is definitely one of the best.

I've decided to change my review, in the sense that they were extremely busy the first time I came in this will be my third time today and although it took a few times I can see they are doing the best they can with the amount of donors that come to donate. That being said maybe the check in/appointment process could be different but from what I see it works for most donors.

Very clean and professional facility. All of the staff are nice and helpful, especially if this is your first experience with donating plasma. The best part of the program in my opinion is the online portal and easy process for scheduling appointments. Couldn't be happier

I love Grifols! I love Caitlan she is so helpful! Amber , Abbey and everyone else!!

Real nice place. Professional, friendly and clean. I'd like to thank the owner for getting back to me so quickly and my issue has been resolved.

I used to go here all the time and it was a pleasant experience, however since the switched to t he Bluetooth blood pressure cuffs the reading has been so inaccurate I can't donate. On these new cuffs my heart rate come back high. I have a heart rate monitor with me that shows my heart rate in the 70?s. It's dangerous that they are using inaccurate technology to measure vitals. I'd be happy to come back and donate if they went back to a traditional cuff.

Staff is INCREDIBLY slow. So slow even when theres little to no clients in the center. It shouldn't take 90 MINUTES just to get hooked up to the chair. There can be 10 staff w 30 beds open and 12 patients waiting yet it will take forever. This staff needs retraining for maximum efficiency. Literally every other plasma center gets you in and out the door within 1 hour. Not 3 like this place.

Staff are friendly and efficient. However, corporate enforces a lot of tedious and unnecessary rules that are nothing short of infuriating and deeply inconvenient to the donors. Additionally, the person in charge of donor pay scale frequently changes the pay rate month to month according to an incomprehensible system that makes no sense and is often frustrating. They tend to weight things toward the backend of the month, making the earlier donations in a calendar month barely worth the effort to arrive b

Diamond Washington is the best! She was so sweet and Is a great customer service advocate. I hope I get here everything I come. Super sweet and very professional.

My experience at this location, has been nothing but great! Everyone is so professional and the wait is minimal. The phlebotomists are well trained, and you literally can't feel the puncture. Thank you for making my experience donating plasma a great experience!!

Everyone here at biomat bellflower was super friendly and amazing. I was immediately greeted as I walked in and taken care of. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the facility. I have to say that the phlebotomist here were all very knowledgeable and helpful! I will definitely be recommending my friends and family to donate here.

Haven't been to another center but this far this one has amazing staff. Very kind and answer any questions one has. Make sure that your comfortable and walk you through the process. Does get busy sometimes and wait times are longer than usual but they make sure to keep you updated

This is the only plasma center I've ever been to and 10 years later it still is. It's dreadful to begin because you're here for maybe 6-8 hours, but after that I've been in and out anywhere from 1-2 hours. They're busy times slow down the WiFi, but I never use it anyway. They have TVs that are always playing movies. Staff is professional and friendly. Never had a bad experience here. Plus! It's conveniently located across the street from King Taco ?? oh! And the card you use you can pull cash out at the CVS

The new donor checkin process was a breeze. The staff is friendly and informative. Entire process was simple and easy. 6.24.2020 - I've been coming here for just under 2 years. Always an easy process. Since COVID19 they have been keeping the place extra clean and following social distancing.

Best place to help make a difference, every employee that works here is very nice and helpful. Its like my family away from home. Most of the employees know my name and i know theirs. I would definitely recommend ckming to this location in bellflower. Its a great way also to make an extra income. They pay you for your donation and time you donate.

I've gone several times now and always have had a positive experience. The staff are all friendly and courteous, free Wi-Fi is a nice little perk while being there. Clean, well kept and well managed.

Make sure you drink plenty of water the day prior to have a faster donation and do try to avoid fatty foods. I've been denied a few times over the years due to having too much fat on the blood test. Also try to switch arms every donation to ease the scaring process and buy vitamin E oil and place at least twice a day on the injection site. I've experienced a burning sensation on my right arm but my left has been painless

This was the worse experience of my life, and I would never come back to donate plasma here?! From the rude attendant at the front who didn't properly explain the check in process for new donors, (which I am) and having to wait so long....I was not intrigued by the ambiance, staff, or lack of disorganization!!!! I immediately left after waiting was seemed like an eternity, and I will NOT be returning!!! And I wouldn't recommend this place to future donors!!

Very Clean. I appreciate all the staff. I have very bad nerves and Bianca is very kind and makes me feel at ease every visit. Bianca is Very kind and attentive!

Had an issue and tried to contact them, impossible. Called 15 times in under 10 minutes and not a single answer. Had someone pickup and drop the phone back down multiple times though. Absolutely worthless customer service. Its not even the first time or I wouldnt be upset

I have been coming to grifols for years but I won't return after today due to a rigid and thoughtless phlebotomist. I decline to know my weight when I am weighed due to spending a decade+ dismantling disordered eating behaviors such as checking weight too frequently. Even though they allow me to decline to know my weight at the initial weigh in, they expect me to be able to verify my weight before they start the pheresis process. Even tho they are aware that's my confirmation of my weight isn't completely m

I'd give more stars if it wasnt for the bad experience I had with an employee named myra. I had an appointment got there 30 mins early just end up waiting longer then intended. I asked myra what was going on she said she canceled my appointment because I wasnt there when I was. When I complained she was rude and unprofessional denying I ever spoke to her. I ended up waiting hours for the next available appointment. Myra needs to work on her people n customer service skills.

Had a 4:30 appt it's now 7:30 and I still need to do a physical and donate but they haven't even called my name for that when they it will take an additional hour at the very least. I've been to octapharma and BioLife both places the whole first time process took a total of 2 hours. This place needs better management . I want to rip my *!?# hair out! BTW I'm referring to Grifols plasma center in Lakewood California

Best staff! Love their friendliness.

A special thank you to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff members at Biomat USA Bellflower! Your efforts and dedication to making everyone feel safe during such a highly stressful time is commendable. Your friendly smiles (even behind the masks) and warm hellos make us feel like a family. Thank you for all you do to ensure that we are able to contribute to such a worthy cause to help others.

I'm done with this place. While staff is pretty courteous, their website and portal are beyond poor. I've been donating over a year and have never had the issues that I am having now. Go figure!

Everytime I go to biomat they employee's just never really genuinely tend to my needs or my questions. Last time I went I was up there for 4 hours & I had a appointment like how is that possible

Amazing work , very clean & very fast , came as a new donate ????

This facility needs a "Clean House" every single worker needs to be terminated. From security to management. If the incompetent workers were focused on putting the needle in the vein instead of passing out there numbers this place would be a smooth sail. But no we got workers walking around talking about customers instead of helping the customers.

What can I say? Donating since 2014 and I've never had a bad experience. I wish I could better remember names, but they're all pleasant. Whether taking my information in the front or my plasma in the back, I know I'm in good hands

I've never been to any other plasma center to compare, but I have been going to this location prior, during and now (somewhat after the height of) Covid. I must say they're a great team there. The staff is always working hard and following protocol. The place is very safe as far as covid precautions between distancing bodies and sanitizing work stations. I've had one bad experience with being punctured, but it happens and you can't blame a nurse for being human. I would recommend going here and for you to h

I really like the service at this location. You're helping make medication and getting a little extra $ in your pocket. First timers expect to be there for a few hours, and avoid Friday's because those are the busiest days.

The new system makes the process go by smoothly and efficiently. Terry and Karla are always great conversations and know exactly what they're doing. Just have to be sure to schedule an appointment a day prior.

An outstanding team with exemplary leadership. They made what is usually a traumatic event a breeze. This was my first time at this location, going forward I will go out of my way to go back to THIS office specifically! This is a group of leaders in the field and should serve as an example others.

I've been donating here since October 2018 My first time here it took almost 4 hours to go through the registration process, so be prepared for that. Every time after that I've been in and out of of here in an hour. The place is very clean, Friendly and awesome staff never had any problems with them.. GREAT JOB Grifols Biomat

Unique, Valerie ,Tate, Ashley and have the best customer service. Always willing to talk to you and take care of you during the donation process. Thank you ladies

They will send a rookie to ruin your veins not once but twice, they will not pay you on time! After waiting over 4 hours, they will talk about you like you aren't a human if you come in more then twice a week. The women here at this facility are miserable single most of them can't wait to eat lunch not a surprise. They don't care about you the donator they only care about their next lunch break.

Trying to switch over from the Orange location and tried to call to see if I needed an appointment but they don't answer the phone. I have called multiple days in the morning and afternoon but nothing. Will drop by and see if I can get an answer then.

This place is very clean and the staff are the best heartwarming people ever. If I could I would give them 6 stars. Keep up the ?? good work.

Great place to make extra money n to meet ppl that like make a difference like u

When I go back it I'll be my 3rd time. All of the staffs are very loving and caring they gave me water and a snack for my first and second time. And when you're donating blood some will have a conversation with you, which helps make time go by faster. Thank You. See everyone soon.

Today October 18, 2022, I had a terrible experience at Biomat/Grifols at Bellflower, CA location. My appointment was at 6:00pm but I arrived at 5:14pm. The call theis Biomat employee Greg because he has a difficult not so common spanish name but Greg was at the front desk. He is about 5'6 or 5'7 has braces and wears glasses with a black frame. I asked him if he had any cancelations for 5:15pm. He said, "I am not able to see that only you can". Which is incorrect! If someone did not show up at 5:15pm Biomat

I believe that this place has a great purpose in everyone's lives. The associates are kind to me everytime I go. This place is clean and welcoming and I recommend for everyone to come earn some money while giving back to society.

I never donated before. The staff here is friendly, helpful and extremely nice. It's a very clean office and they keep it very cold so remember a jacket.... I will continue to come here. Thank grifols for the experience.

Do not go here. This place scams it's patients. Their bonuses are lies. They had a promotion where if you come twice a week they give you an extra $10. Lies. I came on Sunday and Thursday and they switched up on me and said they start their week on Monday. The create their own calendars to deceive people. Do not come here. This place will lie to you to get your plasma. They are literally blood suckers. Go to a different facility. These people are not to be trusted.

Workers here are horrible. I had to get some kind of form from my tattoo shop to be able to donate first, which my shop has never heard of and didn't have. A worker at biomat told me to print out papers online stating the rules of the shop and bring them in and I can donate. So I go to my tattoo parlor, get the papers signed for biomat. Then I head over to biomat, 30 minutes away, and is told that they won't accept what I did that a worker there told me to do. A manager then tells me take a picture of the t

I love this place. Its clean and not scary like some other facilities i have went to. Staff very friendly. You may be there 4 hours your first visit but after that you should be in and out in 90 minutes. Pay is good. One thing is you better be on your toes because they have a strict criteria you have to meet and you will have to show them proper documentation on some thing. I had to make 5 visits with different papers to finally be accepted. I was frustrated but endured. Drug test on first visit so be prepa

So I think they would make you feel you be making 100 bonus and than once your done they giving 50 when 881 ml. That's alot of plasma for so little. I think if I'm giving it only far I get more than 100 it my health.

Aside from being cold (but most hospitals and related facilities are), it's a pretty straightforward and easy process. Get paid for donating and feel good knowing your plasma is being used in medicine to help other people. Usually in and out of here in an hour and a half. Guilt-free way for me to watch Netflix on my phone without worrying that I'm not out there's making money ???? -update 6/29/21- Payouts have improved and I'm happy with it.

This place is the worst. They pay scraps for plasma they resell for 20X profit. They have the nerve to only offer $115 for 2 donations. These places should be shut down.
