I was great like always. The only feedback I have is, training on needle removal. Some tech's push the plastic piece (needle protector) all the way to the skin before pulling the needle out and that causes irritation and tears the needle incision sometimes. Making the insertion point protrude and take longer to heal. Other than that a great experience.
I've only had 2 good experiences here, and it was with from one girl who made the whole things great. Otherwise the others are rude, and they always mess up when I've donated. Today was my final time after the manager guy messed it up the worst that it's ever been. He dug around both my arms and once the machine ran it looked like my arm was blowing up like a balloon. Then he did the same thing to my other arm. Im bruised to all hell. I haven't donated before but it made me never want to do this again. I've
I would like to donate, but I am unable to do so due to my previous stay at a mental health facility. I sought help at a crisis center when I felt overwhelmed and struggled to cope with life. Three years ago, I was kidnapped, and accessing mental health resources has been essential for managing my trauma. Recently, I attempted to donate, but the only reason I was turned away was my prior stay at the crisis center. It's important to note that a crisis center is not the same as a hospital; at a crisis center,
I went to BioLife for the first time today and donated. I had a great experience. All of the workers were very nice, experienced, and did everything to make everyone around them feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back and making more donations.
I came back to BioLife after a 4 month hiatus. I was dissatisfied with the changes made in the saline shortage. However coming back has been nothing short of amazing! Love working with the staff at BioLife Sioux City.
I've donated almost 20 times since 2021 and most of those have been in the last 9 or so months. The staff are friendly and welcoming and since they've sped up to donating machines you are in and out within an hour.
They are always nice to me. The first donation, the saline policy wasn't really explained in detail so my 2nd donation, I was told what I needed to do and why I was doing it. And they scolded me very respectfully! I wish I remembered her name!! Thank you!!
My first experience here was amazing!!???? I loved the ambiance and lighting of the facilities, very calming. I have to say I was so impressed with the staff! SUPER friendly and super informative!!! They make it their absolute MISSION to have you going through the process informed and safely. I have to give a shoutout to nurse Tasha!!! We?? Need?? More?? Nurses?? Like?? Her!!!!!! The level of care, professionalism, and wonderful attitude was beyond my expectations. She has set the standard for what I should
Biolife is a great service but this location needs to train their technicians better. They're polite and respectful, but They infiltrated my veins the last 2x I've been there. Hematomas on both arms (picture is of one 2 days later), double sticks at both appointments. the last donation couldn't be finished, I couldn't receive my blood return, and only got $37 after being there for 2.5 hours because I was 50ml short due to their error. I'll be finding a new location to continue donations.
The people that work here are great, I'm not sure what management is thinking though, hire more people! Or cut the amount of people that can schedule an appointment at the same time. From the time you walk in to the time you leave is 2 hours if you're lucky. Just ridiculous amount of time standing in lines.
It's crazy that you have to schedule and apt before coming and yet a normally 40 min session has turned into a 3 and half session. A long line of donors waiting to have blood pressure checked etc.. and one staff member doing it. Have included picture of how absolutely ridiculous that has gotten. Also the scheduling system has been having problems have called several times no answer and left 3 voice mails on 3 separate days and no call back after saying if leave a message they will call back. If you don't ha
honestly was having a good time my first few times donating but their techs are very undertrained and could seriously hurt someone since they don't know what they are doing. they OVERBOOK appointments and last time i was here it was an hour 1/2 wait to get a finger check & another hour 1/2 to get into a donation chair! right now there is people who have been in line for almost two hours since they only have 1 tech who is doing finger pokes and ?training?. i?ve seen where only 3 out of like 10 techs are actu
If you like being around typical lowlife low class gossiping Sioux City people whom just believe anything & everything they hear from other losers, whom really don't have a clue about anything they are hearing and repeating as they are all just so ignorant, and a staff whom doesn't know what they are doing & often will stick you and then stick you to the point of giving you hematomas in both arms at the same time & cause you to have to get 3 shots in case they may have given you a blood pathogen disease, an
Ryan is so amazing. Friendly and always asking how I am and genuine. I love his personality. His happiness is so infectious. Never had any issues with any of the staff. Great atmosphere
There's always a huge wait. Staff is not competent -nobody is on the same page, different instructions from different people depending on the day. The "nurses" way overstep their boundaries and are quite rude. Go to Octapharma. The headache here is just not worth it.
I always have a pleasant experience at BioLife in Sioux City Iowa? I have had great experiences with the employees whom are very professional. Especially one who has helped me named Cash (Cashey) who has high quality customer service and a professional attitude towards every customer.
I felt welcomed, the staff greeted me right away. The nurse was very nice and informative. During vitals I felt comfortable and it was a personable experience. During donation I was checked on and reassured if I needed anything. The place is clean, the people there are awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.
I've been to BioLife roughly 8 times previously, and the experience I had this time going is the service I feel is to be expected from all medical providers. Tasha the Doc. Doing my physical was grade A. She was thorough, respectful, kind and relatable. I was very pleased with my service.
Everyone that I met and interacted with were very thorough in their explanations of the process and they didn't leave me with any questions about what my first donation would look like. I felt very comfortable in the environment and atmosphere and do plan to donate again with how amazing the staff were!
It's good to be here! Helping people that need plasma and earning some cash at the same time! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the toucan men flying throughout the facility, real neat! Shame the males eat the babies once they take over the flock. So if you have the time and not afraid of needles in your arm for over an hour then come on down.
Go to literally ANY other location this one is the worst. They do a great job of fooling the new donors. But if you stick around you'll see what it's actually like. I was a donor a little over a year. The lines are consistently out the door because they never have enough people sticking fingers, they say an hour and i was never there less than 2 and a half (looking into other locations it takes about 45 mins with everything) My veins were messed up to the point of not being able to bend my arm. My arm would
I actually really enjoy donating at my BioLife. The facility is always very clean and the staff are friendly. Not only is everyone extremely professional but they treat you with respect as well.
Great staff! Most remember you each time you come in and all are willing to chat with you while you're getting stuck. There is sometimes a heck of a wait for a bed but the staff do their best to get people in and out quickly. I rarely wait more than 15 minutes to get my finger poked. No one has ever been rude to me. I have been donating for over 2 years and have had less than a handful of problems with the sticks i.e. hematomas, light bruises, etc. They take care of their donors for sure!
My experience with Tasha was wonderful! She did an excellent job throughout my examination and throughly explained the rewards program to me. I highly recommend Biolife to anyone who's searching for a great and comfortable experience!
The people are GREAT but the wait time is HORRIBLE. My last three donations have taken WAY too much time. If I wasn't trying to fulfill my promotional time frame I would have walked out all three of the last three times. Since I had to wait over a week for a blood test results I had already missed out of two donations in my promotional time frame. Example of time issue: I got here at 1:15 for a 1:25 appointment. It is now 1:48 a still five people on the floor in front of me. I feel bad for the empl
It's a great facility, BUT they are SEVERELY understaffed no matter what time you come in. You will be waiting excessive times to even get through the vitals checklist each time, and then even more time to get ?stuck?, and then once again when you're waiting to have the needle removed at the end. Grifols (their competitor) is wayyyyy better; they have a nice facility like BioLife, but the process doesn't add another 45 minutes. Essentially, they refuse to schedule anymore than 1 employee at the vitals desk
Love it at biolife. Its so clean in that place!. All of the employees are kind helpful and respectful. I always feel so welcomed and always get a "have a great day" after I am finished donating:)
Employees standing around talking laughing while your waiting there to get unhooked or hooked up to a machine. Passed over and helped other that where seated after I had arrived (has happened multiple times). I have also been sitting there 15 minuets, on multiple occasions, after I was done donating waiting to get unhooked while Employees don't seem to care for people's time that go donate plus they get too busy finishing up their closing duties to make sure they get off as early as possible and leave the b
Tasha was such a caring nurse, she was the only one there and she still had a smile on her face, she explained everything to me and she made me feel comfortable
I have been donating almost 10 years now. The employees become your friends. Very friendly, caring people!!! Now that BioLife has figured out the over scheduling problem it is great to donate again. (Hated the long lines) Keep up the good work
Always polite and friendly, and skilled at what they do. They are patient and help answer questions. I have had good experiences in Sioux City and plan to continue as a donor. I would agree with others that the scheduling can be an issue when good promotions run, as I have had long waits...2 hours...at times. But that is not the fault of the center or staff. It is a hiring and schedule mismanagement issue. That said, I have overall been pleased and just expect long lines. Thank you BioLife.
I will start by saying that I am giving this place no stars. I come here to donate and I keep getting the worst experience I have ever have there. I have been doing this for about 5 to 6 months now and have been turned away at least 4 to 5 different times due to some stupid reason. This keeps happening to me and I am getting very tried of this. The lastest thing they told me is because my pulse was to high. I went home that same day and checked it again, my pulse was well below 100, actually my pulse was 87
It's a awesome place but need more people at front counter and open more beds to help move it along faster they got new machines to suppose to make it go faster but less people makes it not go faster
This is the worst place to donate they tell you you can't have all these things mentally so you can't donate without doctor consent. Well I get doctor consent after 2 WEEKS. then they tell me I still can't donate. I'm wasting more money on this stupid place to get here than I'm making. This is my 2nd time here and they won't let me. Probably will not be returning to this junk place
The employees are always in good spirits, informative, and kind. The process is usually fairly quick. The facility is always very clean.
I give them one star because when I got there the computer said to see an employee before I could start my questions. So I go see an employee and they said a manager need to talk to me. I waited for 20 mins before a manager came. She looked into computer to see what I needed to see her for. She then tells another employee that was busy doing finger sticks was going to help me when she gets done. By then 40 mins pass by and the wait line backs up to 7 people. I'm getting mad now because the manager passes th
Biolife in Sioux City is very welcoming, clean, organized and their staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their job. The only down fall is the pay. It would be nice to see an increase per visit/week.
By far the slowest center I have been to. I have been multiple times where it takes 2-3 hours to donate when it's not even busy. This is ridiculous. Ames, Iowa center is always packed full and they get people in and out way faster.
Everyone here is so nice and friendly. Yaneli is awesome
I have been to both plasma centers in Sioux City and BioLife by far is the best one they have the best staff the cleanest facility and the staff there are just amazing...
Went to Biolife today to discuss recent deferral. The nurse was very helpful and gave me all of the answers to all of my questions. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cause to support(saving lives) or just some extra cash. Everything was handled very professionally.
My experience is always good. Just not happy with the way that established donors are not paid as well as new donors. If payment does not stay above 110$ a week I will stop donating.
Disconnect times are slow. Sometimes 10 minutes or more.
It's been a couple years since I have donated since I moved away from the Siouxland area. Let's just say I wish there was a location where I live now. The only reason I gave them a 4 star instead of a 5 star is that sometimes you had to wait in 10-15 person lines to donate. What should take about an hour took over 2 hours. With entire sections of machines not being used?! Schedule more techs... Anyway, besides that and the poke it was easy money and you're "helping to save lives".
Employees are very professional and patient, but the company is not. They overbook appointments and underbook staff. What should be an hour process has many times taken over 3 hours. Sometimes they pay pretty well, but NO respect for the customers, who get frustrated, and take it out on staff. Staff quits and the the customer stands in line for hours. The bad cycle keeps going.
All the workers at BioLife are very experienced and thorough. This made my visit so easy and comfortable. I hope to see them soon again.
Theu don't even deserve one star. Inwas deffered for a tattoo that's over five years old. They want proof of when I got it nurse said show it in a photo so.i did and that wasn't good enough. The "manger" was so rude came out with a additude playing with her fake eyelashes. They only had a problem with one of my tattoos. Most ridiculous place ever.
Very knowledgeable and friendly. Busy place and good to see.
I've been donating for over a year now and I really enjoy the experience. The staff are great and know what they're doing. Sometimes the lines are long but as long as you have something to do while you wait then it's worth it.
I have been donating for a few years now. Used to always get right in with no problems 1.5 hour was the longest for the entire donation process, even when busy. Now it is terrible and I'm considering not donating any longer. I enjoy donating as it is for a good cause and have friends and family that benefit for people donating plasma. BUT, it is getting terrible, I always make my appointments for 5:40 as it gives me time to get off work and make the 30 minute drive. Now 95% of the time I am waiting a minimu
I have been doing the plasma for quite a while. Recently the amount we receive is a lot less that prior donations. This gives me pause to donate. The time required from in the door to out the door is always about 1 1/2 hours. The reimbursement is not very good compensation any more. Not sure I will continue
I would honestly like to say that i truly like coming to bio life... The people are ALWAYS super-nova nice!!! For a person that has a phobia of needles, they have managed to clear that obstacle and make me feel ?? percent comfortable... Its always clean and the workers are always proficient... I would and will recommend and continue to recommend new donors to come here... Try for yourself and see... 5stars
Very professional and friendly staff, easy process and very good facility.
I have donated at biolife for over 2 years now...I have never seen it be as bad as it has been. You won't get done with your donation within 2 hours on a day they aren't busy. The staff simply do not care about the donors time. We get it your paid by the hour and standing around talking is more important than hooking up a machine. They will seat you in areas that don't even have machines hooked up. Its literally an amazing cause but the slow not caring pace that is carried out by the employees is becoming i
Excellent service and attention to detail. I was feeling sort woozy near the end of my draw. They assisted me immediately and resolved the issue. See you next week.
I g ot through very quickly and the staff was friendly
Long wait times. Employees are good and professional but over booking is an issue.
Great customer experience that prioritize safety first. They ensure top tier compliance with medical practices and procedures. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Fast payments for plasma donations that are immediately available for use.
I've been very pleased with the process over my three donations. Any questions I have are adequately answeared.
They need more staff this is insane. I moved here from Fargo ND and never had to wait 3 hours to donate. I have had a protein check the past 3 visits no results??? They tell you they will call you in 7 to 10 business days but never call. I have tried to call many times They don't answer the phone... I never had any trouble in Fargo ND.. I donated for 3 years up there and come here I have lived here for over 2 years and donated maybe 8 times at most.... Fix this. Your losing donations.
I absolutely love donating! The staff is always amazing and professional. They address my concerns and questions with utmost professionalism. The only "criticism" I have is that I feel there is a lack of communication from the higher ups to the donation centers.
Let me start by saying I donate plasma for several reasons and one is because my step children have diabetes and I want to help where I can. Lately, BioLife in Sioux City has been insane. I have been donating for several years and never has it been this bad. Wait times are crazy long. The staff is rude more often than not. Chairs and stations not open. And yet you have staff walking around. Whether it's management or not, they should be assisting when you are busy. If you are understaffed then maybe you sho
Awful place to donate. Have gone 6+ times successfully completed a few(2). They couldn't find and stick me correctly, so they would try and adjust the needle to no avail, switched arms same thing. My arms looked like I was a drug user. It was so bad after them digging around to adjust my vein in my arms every time, my boss asked me alot of questions. A paramedic ever asked what I did, his expression and him saying to me go somewhere else they obviously can't do their job correctly. If I could post pictures
This place is a joke. My husband started going the end of March this year. Was told his 1st visit he couldn't donate because his iron was too low: Went back the next day and his iron was fine. Would go back a few days later was told his iron was too low. This was going on every other visit .. his iron was fine he could donate? then his iron was low he couldn't donate. I finally took my husband to his primary doctor for a total work up?. Everything was fine? his iron was excellent!!! Today he went to donate
Literally waiting in line for over a hour just to get into a chair...this place is very understaffed! The lines are extremely long and the waiting even after you get into a chair takes forever. They have also lowered there prices alot. They need to make some changes or I fear there going to loss donations
I have been donating plasma for several months with Biolife and had always had an incredible experience, until I started going to the Sioux City location. The last time I donated I brought in a coupon and was promised a certain amount of pay. I was shorted by $70 for my donation and after calling every day for almost a week to talk to a manager I am still missing money that I was promised. This has made me apprehensive to return. I love being a life saver, but cant support a business that does not stay true
Super friendly staff. Phlebotomists on the floor are always pleasant and willing to address any issues with your donations. They are great at making small talk to help distract from the initial poke. They always try to work as quickly as possible to get you donating and on your way. Always keep in mind that they can only go as fast as you can donate and their staffing allows.
I'm a new donor and I'm currently sitting in the waiting room area. Being a new donor I have no knowledge of the goings on here but I feel very unwelcome. After a solid 10 minutes standing at the front desk someone finally came to talk to me. She made my chart and instructed me to make an online profile which is fine, then hurriedly asked me all the questions to make my file. During this process, the lady helping me seemed extremely annoyed. Short, bland answers to any questions I had regarding the process
Horrible staff this place will literally hire anyone unfortunately half of the staff ha e no clue what they are doing. Went there today to donate and was denied because my blood pressure was off. The girl that took my bp used a cuff that was too big for my arm and was loose . Pay attention too this in order to get a correct bp you have to use the right size that is why they make different sizes. Either this employee is too ignorant too get this or needs retrained. I am a trained nurse and know for a fac
would not recommend, i drove 2 hours to get here then turned me down for being bipolar after wasting over an hour and a half of my time. would have been good to know at any other point of this process so i didn't waste my time and gas. nothing says helping people like discrimination right
Staff is very friendly, and for the most part very experienced. Got to give them five stars because of their genuine care for the people giving their plasma.
Don't plan on returning. I decided to give them another try because of supposed new donor rates. I only ever made one donation to BioLife years ago and was never going to return because of the first time was not a good experience. After hearing from many people to switch back because of new donor rates I decided to give them a try after hearing they were paying out better and we're doing better. Well, apparently if you come back after 5 plus years and only completing 1 donation you still get them same donor
They get one star because the staff that takes the plasma is incredibly friendly and professional. Unfortunately, this staff is paired up with the most embarrassingly incompetent managerial staff I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. So back in 2009 I decided, "Hey, I think I'll donate plasma to Biolife." Everything went well during the physical, but because of my birthplace being overseas, they wanted to check a few things before approving. Okay, I understand that. Of course, they never c
Great employees. Clean facility. People get so salty about wait times but these employees are trying their best. People get upset they get turned away because it is unsafe for them to donate. These people are just doing their jobs and they do them well.
I came in twice to donate plasma before work. My first time I realized I would have to do a physical so I made sure to make my appointment two hours before I had to be to work. After two hours and one of the slowest physicals known to man I had to leave to get to work and come back the next day to donate. When I came in the next day to donate once again two hours early after being prepared for them to be slow again where it took them an hour to get me ready to donate. Then they were WAY understaffed and too
Technicians are friendly and courteous. Center is clean. The donor process has a timely progression for the number of donors. Some donors need to have patience. Thanks
I was seen in a timely manner, the staff was friendly, and professional. Thank you so much for an amazing visit for a return customer.
It's very clean atmosphere some employees are very respectful professional and people friendly great place
Decided to come back after a few years.. physical and everything leading up to the donation went fine. They tried my left arm to start, it bubbled up right away. The machine was going off for a while before someone came over and assisted me. After someone came over they pulled the needle out and they had to do my right arm. Right arm went fine. Then I come back two days later to donate again, my left arm was still tender so I had them do my right arm again since it healed nicely.. THEY MISS MY VEIN AGAIN!!!
Staff is very friendly and always trying their best to get things moving quickly. Although they are very under staffed. Plan on being here at least a few hours.
Website said they had child care. Went there today with my little one tried to call a head to tell them I had my lo and was placed on hold for 8 minutes and which point I hung up. Walked through the doors and an older lady with a blond Bob stopped me at the door she was very rude to me telling me that child care had been closed for three years and that it said so on their website I have searched the website several times now looking for where it says the child care is closed and it says nothing of the sort
I've been donating plasma since 2012. Probably around 460 times. The frontline people working there have always been and continue to be great people. Unfortunately the experience of donating plasma has gone downhill the last couple of years to the point I am not sure I will continue. I always appreciated having the extra money, even if I don't need it. BioLifes's policies have become less donor friendly. They treat you like they are doing you a favor by letting you give your plasma. Everyone knows they are
My first two experiences have been fine until today. My arm started to really hurt. I tried to call the guy over to tell him. He said I'll be with you. I told him my arm really hurt and was swelling. Ignored me. He told the girl to come over, but she said he would have to check it. Finally he unplugged me. He tried to put it in the other arm after I told him that I was told this arm was no good. He said well your just going to have to go in as a refusal. I said that's fine my life is more important
Tried to go donate and was told I can't donate because the nurse said I smelled and was told to make an appointment for the next day and that I showered before coming in so I did. Went back for my appointment and once again after the vein check the nurse said I was being deferred for 7 days because I smelled even though I had just gotten out the shower and taken my kid to school. I watched as other people came in looking like they haven't showered in weeks and were allowed to donate. I tried here because it
I have been donating occasionally on my days off for the past year, but will probably not be back, not because of the staff but because of the online app. hardly ever works and that is how you schedule your appointments you would think that a company that realize on an app. for their business would have one that works. Can't even log in now says user not found.
This place is horribly slow. I always end having to wait 20 to 30 minutes to get stuck for donation, and this is after I've been seated. Technicians are usually standing around doing nothing too. Today I sat for ten minutes with a needle in my arm after my donation finished. Ridiculous. No matter how much time you set aside, you cannot schedule anything around going here.
I've always had a good experience there, it's just getting busier and must adjust to the time needed. Happy to donate though.
I've been visiting here for a while and it's always good to catch them when they're running promotions. Sometimes you have to wait for a little while, but you can't beat the money. The time waiting in line is always worth it, in my opinion.
The people that worked there are always wonderful There .it's the waiting time that drives me nuts specially, when I make an appointment for 1:30 and I don't get in until 330
Always knowledgeable and helpful staff
The staff here is very friendly! They work in a fast paced environment and are very efficient. I really enjoy talking to all the workers. Rosie was fantastic today!
Always very helpful and considerate. Never had any problems from there services. Easy process to get you in and out to enjoy your day.
They have really friendly stuff and will take care of you right away. Just a great place in general.
Been coming here for more than a decade. Clean environment. Courteous staff. A relaxing hour spent in a chair with a needle in your arm and some money in your pocket.
Nice clean facility but the lines and waits have gotten ridiculous. Hour from walking in the door until walking out has turned into 3+ hours along with my hour drive each way.
Very clean facility, Friendly staff, sometimes you will be there a while but probably because they're much better than their competitors.
I've been going to BioLife in Sioux City for 3 years now and I can't begin to say enough nice things about this center. Incredibly nice people, professional, and I hardly ever have much of a wait time. It's incredibly well ran.
Was using a returning donor promotion that ended in the middle of the week, after my first donation of that week also. My second donation they were only gonna give me $20! When I called to check on this the lady told me that sorry even though it's your second donation of the week and it should be worth 100 this is a business. So they wanted me to donate a second time for the week for only $20 And not the $100! I will not be back!
First time I arrived to donate at BioLife I was treated with respect and courtesy. Had all my questions answered without any hassle and my experience was without a doubt A1 ?? professional and satisfying. Thank you BioLife for such a great opportunity!. I would recommend to any fellow citizens interested in making a difference for other lives
Always great workers and comfortable atmosphere. Great service and well kept facility????
Previously good experiences. Showed up at 5:40, not even hooked up by 7. Half the beds aren't being used. Watched some poor girl pass out and be handed a barf bag, full crash cart, but not taken off the needle. She's still over there looking green.
They staff is great. My kiddos absolutely love seeing Bailey. Marifel is such a sweet lady, enjoy seeing her smiling face everytime I come in. Definitely recommend!
They falsely told me I had an STD and barred me until I got verification from my doctor. Only found out because I tried to schedule future donation appointments but everything was in red and gave me an error online. I called the place and whoever took my call coldly to me that my plasma tested positive for syphilis. I was a virgin at this time! I called my doctor and got a screening, came up negative. BioLife demanded medical records proving I was negative before I could donate again. Caused me a massive am
All the employees are very nice and professional! There are sometimes long waiting periods to donate but the employees work hard to keep things moving.
Sioux City Biolife Plasma employees are absolutely wonderful. I have been going there for 7 months now,and not one bad experience. I actually look forward to going there twice a week. They truly treat you like family. I would highly recomend the Sioux City center to anybody. I wish I would had started with them 3 years ago.
Worst plasma centre in Sioux City. Since I was 9 minutes past my appointment they denied me to help out giving plasma but the lady behind me was 5 minutes past her appointment but they allowed her to go. Horrible lines, you wait 2 to 3 hours just for a couple bucks. Always backed up. Octofarma plasma you'll be able to still donate and save life's.
People are great here. Cashay is the greatest! She is always smiling, kind, and generous. Great respect for her. One of the best.
Not enough people doing the finger stick and weight check and you have to wait in line for way too long with no chairs to sit on
The staff is usually friendly and attentive. They seem to appreciate the fact that you are helping people in need.
Everyone is so nice! Always apologizing for waits and work as fast as they can. Answer all my questions without making me feel silly for asking.
It's okay. I waited at the front desk for 20min or so today. To get help. All the workers looked right at several times and not one worker ask if needed help or even acknowledged i was even standing there. They are talking to each other to much ,and not acknowledging the donor's at the front desk. Ugh. So I'm going going to the other plasma place today.
Very friendly staff, and they make it comfortable to donate.. great place to donate and make some extra money
A place where everyone knows your name. Friendly greeting upon entering, continuing throughout process, and acknowledge your leaving.
The management staff and phlebotomists are well-directed, friendly, and professional. I would most certainly not go anywhere else for plasma services. However I would expect a heck of a lot more medical competence from the nurses who are supposed to have physiological awareness and know when an external strain (such as a tightly rolled-up long sleeve that is rolled so the blood pressure cuff will wrap around the naked arm) affects the measured (compared to the actual) blood pressure. Forgive the essay of
Phenomenal people work here screening took no time at all and the nurse Ali was great when I had to do my physical such sweet staff
I've been donating plasma at Biolife in Sioux City, IA for several months and I have to say, I cannot recall ever going anywhere and receiving first class service every single time like I do at Biolife. Not to any type of business. The team at Biolife should be extremely proud of themselves and for the work that they do. What a great effort for a great cause. Thank you!
Ali has been so friendly and such a great additiin to your team. She alqays greets me with a smile and very friendly and informative!!!
By far the most inexperienced when it comes to ?medical staff?. I swear each one of the techs was picked from a butcher shop rather than anywhere medical. These people couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag, much less find a vein.
I need to start going to another facility. Takes almost a freakin hour to get hooked up and they are never nice or courteous. Worse place to donate in sioux city. Bad service
Very Friendly. Clean environment. I would prefer to come to this biolife than any other in the state. Nicolle and Cashay were fantastic .
Ryan is an amazing tech. He's always so friendly and cares about the donors. I love when he is taking care of me!
Love biolife in Sioux city, the staff is AMAZING,always making sure things are running smoothly and making sure you are good, the place is so clean, such a positive place and staff
Staff is kind and professional. They do a great job even when it gets stressful because of long lines.
I have been told 2 different reasons why I can't donate here, I have called to talk to a manager and been ran around in circles being lied to by staff that she was manager but when I ask her that she was manager she wouldn't say yes or no! I would like to come back to donate but I can't talk to anyone about it! I've been told no one is in charge of the whole place which is very hard to believe!
The staff has always been super helpful and friendly even when if I had an issue or anything and I would highly recommend donating at BioLife in Sioux City
Rosie did a great job checking in with me and making sure I was comfortable throughout my donation.
The people are wonderful and my experience w/Mrs.Sarahas been pleasant and exceptional..and she has a wonderful sense to help those in need
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. RUDE EMPLOYEES, YOU WILL HAVE PERMANENT SCARS. THEY LIKE TO GET YOU IN FOR THE FIRST APPOINTMENT AND THEN TELL YOU THAT THEY DON'T HAVE AN OPENING UNTIL THE NEXT WEEK SO YOU CAN'T GET THE BONUS. LOT'S OF OTHER WAYS TO SAVE LIVES AND MAKE MONEY
The staff is awesome and try to get you through the process fairly quickly. However, I could do without the Sioux City meth zombies tweeking in the chair next to me.
Super slow 2 1/2 hrs and I'm a regular donor. They weren't even busy and I waited an hour on the floor waiting to get stuck then they messed up the stick twice nick doesn't know how to stick
I always have A positive experience. I love a the people that work there. Always nice even when they're very busy
Couldn't donate today because my pulse was too high, not sure if it was the pre-workout or Brittany.. it should be illegal to be that fine with a personality so great ????
Some times can be a little slow but overall a great place to make a little move and help save a life!
I have always had a great experience at the Sioux City Center..Staff is great very friendly.
All the team is working in a great manner. And present really good attitude.
It's a great place and all but the wait times are insane if you know you don't have enough people to run the center to capacity why do you insist on making every appointment possible and then having people stand around for 1 to 2 hours just waiting to donate its frustrating
Great people friendly staff but terrible at getting ya out of here like I almost have to pull the needle myself
Biolife staff is always friendly and make returning to donate a positive experience. Thank you for saving lives and and making it worth donating !
I wrote a review about how bad the wait times were 4 years ago, now I wouldn't even reccomend anyone go here. You'll spend the night here waiting.
Friendly and professional staff , need chairs in the waiting areas. Bad knees
Fast and friendly workers. They were extremely busy and still had me out of there in under 2 hours.
They are paid by the hour, absolutely no rush by any of their employees. Good luck getting out of there under 2 hours.
Staff so rude , when I checked in they didn't even greet me , all they said was ?name? and apparently I am not the only that has experience disrespectful behavior from this location according to reviews on here , so please make a change otherwise it would continue to discourage donors that go to this location when all we want is help others by donating plasma .
The staff are helpful & friendly. The experience is easy, fast & virtually pain free. Best place in town to donate!!
Great atmosphere here. Staff is always friendly and starts my morning off with a smile
Haven't been back in a little while but when I had questions regarding my return everyone was so helpful!
Need more help 2 1/2 hours too long to be there
Generally takes about 2 hours. Like being able to schedule in the app. Everybody is courteous.
The people that work there are the best and ack as if they actually care about what they are doing.
Nothing but good things to say from me. Never had any problems friendly staff! Recommend
Great center. Great employees. Been donating plasma here for almost 12 years. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
There was a guy that didn't listen when I said the needle was hurting and asked him to re position it dudes lucky I didn't take the needle out and Stick it in his eye
Love this place easy little side hustle ?? Tax free dollars plus save a life,
Clean and organized environment, staff is friendly and attentive making the donation experience worthwhile.
Regular donor every few years. (Most bodies need a break when donating plasma often.) Safe and clean. Great staff.
The app will tell you one price that you then you get less than that
Z did a great job checking me in. Staff is always friendly and curtious.
Kim at the front desk has excellent customer service and shows value for everyone she encounters.
They are so friendly and caring. I have yet to have a bad experience here.
It is fast and quick to get into and that don't have to wait long to start donating the plasma there. The workers are very nice.
People were really nice and caring
BioLife messed up my card, I can't activate it & Can't get a person on the phone to fix it! This on top of the wait time when you have an appointment ????????????
Clean, knowledgeable and professional. At the same time very curtious. Always relaxing.
Friendly people got me in and out with no problems
Fast and easy process.
Everyone is always efficient and kind, which makes the experience comfortable.

Though I am rarely able to donate this place is very clean and professional.. I wish I could do more to help.. I highly recommend..
my experience @ sioux city biolife has been nothing but good! the staff there two ???? up
They offer promotions for you to earn extra money for each visit but its a scam and a lie. They never pay out what they promise.
Usually pretty quick and convenient. Easy extra money for the Holidays or little extras in life
I think the staff is so nice! Always enjoy coming in
Amazing! The nurse was more than helpful and very professional
Cool but wasn't eligible to get that bag so finna pull through next time.
Staff is A-1!!! Facility is clean and comfortable. Always a pleasant experience.
Friendly people. Always want to do thongs right. Always answer my myriad questions. I stopped going for a year, and when I came back, it was like being back with friends and family.
Sara tech very professional, polite and efficient at Sioux city Iowa location
Employees try their best about getting through everyone when there is a long line.
The staff is very friendly and they do a tremendous job at what they do!
This year has have longer wait times than before, so that deters me from coming as much.
Always a great experience at bio life sioux city. Especially when Meriefel remembers my name!
Spend several hours here with an appointment made weeks prior. This is the new norm here. They need so get it together and maybe start scheduling less if they can't keep up...
I don't mind the wait time cause the people are the workers are friendly & respectful
Nice clean place to donate! Everyone is always nice.
Been going here for a couple of years! Everyone is always so polite and friendly!
Always a good experience at BioLife. Good way to make a bit of money on your time.
Clean and sanitary! Easy and fast! Great workers!
I drove 20 miles to donate their machine won't read my temperature and they send me away I will never go again
Clean facility, professional and friendly staff, safe environment.
First time there the atmosphere was very unwelcoming. Will try again and update my review.

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
