Very friendly staff, kindness shows & that goes a long way. Pretty prompt service, but patience is needed at times. Pay is always no longer than 30 minutes & once was almost instant. As a side note, who likes needle sticks? They are always gentle. I highly recommend this Sparks location!! Also, they have random opportunities to earn more! I'd like to see more of them! ;)

I have to say I have donated at 10+ centers across the USA as I travel with my husband for his work. This was BY FAR the ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE for the 1st time donation at a new center. It has taken upwards of 4-5 hours everywhere else so I showed up at 7am. I was out the door by 8:35am. Friendly, efficient, professional. ALL AROUND THE BEST and I have been donating since 2018. The staff here is great and efficient. They take great care of each patient and go out of their way to ensure your safety. I truly recommend to anyone that is capable of donating plasma to do so. It not only saves lives but you can also receive a nice cash benefit from doing a service to your fellow human family.

I've been donating plasma at Grifols Biomat in Sparks for several months now?and previously donated for almost four months before the 2020 lockdown. My experience has been consistently positive. This place is always clean, staff are friendly, and I always have a pleasant experience. I like how I can make an appointment here vs other places where it's like pulling a deli ticket. They stock the front with waters and snacks if you ask too and i appreciate the professionalism from everyone I've met there.

I have yet to experience a bad experience at Grifols. The employees have been so helpful and kind. I obviously have my favorite few Tattum is my all time favorite and I have a few others as well. I have been coming consistently for a month and have had a great experience. The staff are great and get things done quickly.

Been coming here for a few months now and the staff is always so professional and welcoming. Always greeting me by name and regularly checking in to make sure everything is okay. The one occasion there was a discrepancy with my needle, staff was attentive, noticed it immediately and fixed it. It gets busy sometimes but I believe they prioritize appointments which makes it very convenient and shortens the wait by a whole lot.

The donation process has gone fine all 3 times I have gone to this location. Friendly staff, extremely efficient at the whole process. The facility is clean.... My issue has been when it comes to the compensation. Of the 3 times I have donated here, I have to call after the fact to get my payout corrected (I was under compensated according to their charts for standard compensation and bonuses). My suggestion is to absolutely check your card portal before you take off EVERY SINGLE TIME to ensure your payout

I've been going to biomat since I moved to reno in 2017. I have seen them improve each year with trying to make donation appointments more time efficient and they really do take the time to just make your overall experience as comfortable as possible.

Hands down the best place to donate Plasma in Reno. I have been donating at this location for a year. The staff are all so friendly, and professional. Everyone from up front staff to the phlebotomists in the back, everyone cares about your well being. Tiffany up front is so sweet and friendly. She genuinely cares about your experience and safety during donating. The Grifols app make it so easy to make and change appointments and fill out health questionnaires. It's a breeze. I am amending my five star review from two days ago down to one star. I donated plasma here two days ago. At that time, I had mentioned during the pre-screening that I had previously had three types of skin cancer (2009). I was allowed to move forward with the process. When going back today, I was told that one type of skin cancer is a permanent deferral, making me ineligible for donating. Several sources online indicate that after a 1-5 year waiting period, I should be eligible. Regardless, I should have

Decided to come back after 4 months. Told me I needed a physical done even though I got one done in October, because I missed a blood sample. Cool. Came back a couple of days later for the physical only to be sent home because they needed a physical copy of my personal information again like they did in the beginning. That could have been explained the first time I came. It would have been nice to know exactly what they needed for me so that I wouldn't waste my gas and time. Please be more informative with

I was pretty nervous when I began donating, but everyone here is so friendly and make it a comfortable experience. And they learn how to stick your veins better so it's way less painful after about your 3rd time there. For new donors I'd recommend bringing a blanket if you get cold and something to squeeze like a roll of socks. They do offer grips here but they hurt my hands after a while cause I'm not that strong. :)

Oz was there phlebotomist who helped me donate today. He was competent, friendly, and I barely felt the poke! I enjoy coming to this location to donate - everyone is nice and everything runs so efficiently. The are very attentive and address any issues quickly. Highly recommend!

Thank you Ryan; for making my vein pop! I now have a marble size bubble in my vein!! Most of the "Staff" are kids; who are just learning, have no experience, and do not care about their work or the people that plan on donating. Be careful with who you trust your body with. I Would definitely NOT recommend this location. The older staff seem to not care anymore either. This place should probably be shut down.

Grifols treats donators with respect. They are always smiling and willing to answer any questions you may have. The waiting area has chairs to sit in so your feet don't hurt and they do appointments.

I've been going here since mid October of last year. My first time donating they were very welcoming and talked to me thoroughly about what happens. Ever since then I've only got to this plasma center. It's quick and easy money. All of the employees are so sweet and friendly.

Such a great location with the most amazing staff! The facility is clean, I always feel comfortable going here, and the staff is literally the most friendly and helpful people you could talk to.

Their technicians complain about management and talk poorly of other employees in front of clients. The new hires cannot stick my vein that has been good enough for donating off and on for years. I stopped my last donation because it was painful after they missed and another new hire missed last time as well. I'm not a practice dummy and I have never had a vein that ?rolled? before. Now I'm deferred for a vein check every time I go, aka for them to turn me away and waste my time and gas. I wouldn't recommen

I reached a milestone: 60+ donations at my Sparks plasma center and..... absolutely it is quite relevant for me having a consistently wonderful, friendly, courteous, and skillfully trained staff, each and everytime.

Been here for years best staff. Always timely and efficient. Make sure you have at least an hour of free time it's still a medical procedure you can only go as fast as the machine will allow. Staff has no control over total procedure time. Ask for Zoe!

Although donating plasma is not the most pleasant thing to do, the staff here is always welcoming and friendly and I have not had a bad experience yet. I will continue to donate plasma, because the employees are so nice. The donation area is very clean and you feel comfortable with your surroundings.

The staff here is great! Always polite with a smile. They always make sure I am comfortable. My first visit was fairly long, but that is because getting all my info and the physical. Every visit after I have been out in less than a hour.

It was my first time coming here and I fainted but when I woke up they were there to help me by putting cool packs on my chest and neck, checking my blood pressure, giving me Gatorade and a granola bar, and turning a fan on. Yesterday it was mine and my husband's first time donating plasma. Everyone there is very thorough and friendly. While my husband's donation went smoothly, mine unfortunately did not. I had a reaction to donating plasma where it caused my whole body to cramp up. Tiffany, the young man, and the other two young ladies were very quick to get me to feeling better and get my body to somewhat go back to normal. Posted new donor amounts are deceiving. If you have donated EVER even more than 20 years ago you are not considered a "new donor" but a returning new donor so the posted payments do not apply and this was NEVER mentioned during my first visit. Never returning if they are deceiving on this what more shady stuff do they do?

The staff here is friendly and professional. They also know how to stick you without leaving big bruises, unlike CSL (in my experience). They use very fast newer machines which, combined with "by appointment only" scheduling, gets you in and out as efficiently as possible. I just wish they'd open up in South Reno too

Been donating here for years and not once have I been eaten by vampires, nor experienced lifelong trauma. It's a great place to give plasma to the plasma god. For real, super friendly staff, easy to handle doing, and no, and I stress, no evil vampires on site.

I have been coming here for years and it is slowly getting worse and worse every time I come here. It used to take 45 minutes to donate, but now it's pushing 2 hours every time. The nurse is constantly telling I can't donate because I have a non existent bruise or the slightest eczema on my arm that you can't even see. It's an allergy that can't be controlled., but apparently I can't donate plasma because if it. Every time I take the protein test, it takes over 2 weeks for them to release me so I can donate

The staff is always friendly, the only issue I have is the getting paid part. When Amahn is working the lab I get paid within 15 minutes of finishing, it's been an hour since I left today and I was the last person in the center, why is it so hard today get paid? I know its not because there are other bottles to process because it was slow, i dont understand the hold up just like your company would like our plasma, we would like our money. I'd love to donate but when you make new donors wait 2 hours or more to start, on top of a 2 1/2-3 hour donation, how is anyone supposed to? Either let new people make appointments or hire people to accommodate. Completely unprofessional, go ANYWHERE else if you're trying to donate.

A very pleasant experience, and super easy! The donation process was explained clearly and handled precisely! The clinic very was clean, to say the least. No need to drive all the way to C.C at all!

The staff at Sparks Biomat rock. It's always a great time talking to Daisy and the rest of the staff. Daisy makes sure to get the job done. The things I dislike is the pay, it's lower than other centers. It fluctuates at times depending on the month. They took away the referral bonuses. Other than that this place rocks.

This place has an awesome staff, the one lady with hoop earrings is a little "picante" and always causing a ruckus. Aimee is spot on even though she won't stab my arm like a dartboard. They also refuse blood if you bring your own. They ask alot of questions like who's is it, where'd you get it, or why is it in a home depot bucket. Great and Friendly staff, Yesenia Faby, Raul, and Noah, to just name a few, are great! I enjoy coming in and chillin' for about an hour. And the many times I've gone to donate, I've never been a 're-stick'. Which is a big deal for me.

Super easy process from day one. There's never a line they maintain the facility clean. They offer free water bottles incase you had a long work day. Cheanette is always checking up on donors and always has a fun light conversation to make the process smother than what it already is. Thank you guys for all you do!!!

Always professional. Sometimes it gets busy but these folks can rival costco for efficiency and concern. Like getting a mini physical every time. Monthly incentives are the icing on the cake. With the staff changes I was worried I wouldn't see familiar faces but thankfully Rob, Daisy, Tiara and Leilani were still here. I love chit chatting with the front line people as well. Everybody is great. Las vegas people are helpful as well.

I have been donating here for a year now. The staff are amazing and everything is streamlined to make the experience much quicker then where i used to donate in the past. Never a long wait and is completely worth your time!

So I went in for my first visit and when they went to put the needle in the guy could not get it. He begins to root around in my vein with the needle and then finally calls over someone else to help. This other guy comes over and continues to root around and then says "oops I went all the way through your vein". I was obviously unable to donate that day and when I got home a HUGE bruise began to form. When the bruise finally went away about 2 weeks later I went back and was told that I would need to go thro

Staffs are friendly however my arm they withdrew plasma from got bruises so I came back. They claim that I'm the only person who ever received bruises! They said it's fine and their wanting to actually withdraw more from me with the same arm that's currently bruised up!!!

Staff is Very rude!! horrible experience do not recommend. Tried to come donate a couple of times waiting all day long for them to make up some excuse up that I'm not able to donate

I may have small veins, but I've never left a doctor's office bruised with a pint of blood unable to return. The phlebotomist told me she had only been working there for two months and she was the most experienced person on the floor yet she bruised me in both arms and unable to donate for 8 weeks because of her. Seems like employees don't stay here long as I can never have the same phlebotomist each visit.

I have made over 500 donations at this location and continue to look forward to my appointments twice a week. I love the clean facilities and welcoming staff.

my entire experience was quick and easy The ?first time? donor process is always said to be extremely long But in just shy of two hours I was checked and accepted into the donor system and donated! It was quick and easy and just in time for some Christmas money!
