Last Monday, 2/10/2025, I came here to donate. When the 'tech' inserted the needle into my arm, it was immediately very painful. She had to adjust it four times before getting it right. Afterwards, she wrapped it way too tight which resulted in a line of water blisters trailing down my arm. I'm 5'8 and 160lbs in athletic shape so my veins aren't hard to get whatsoever. I have had to take phlebotomy classes and know the process. They need to properly train these folks. The 3rd photo is from today, five days
I love coming here. The staff is amazing. Jessica is always keeping the moral high and making sure that everyone feeling ready go. Sam and Taj also make the donation process seamless. They are all so awesome. Mix of family and friends, some good laughs and all around comfortable environment.
I love Bree her attitude and personality is blissful and very welcoming. She's very professional and very caring I recommend to csl plasma and request her she will brighten your day
Bree is amazing, she has a fantastic personality and is really good at what she does! I'm new here to Oklahoma and I'm not a newbie to donating but she moved this process along and made me feel like we've been friends for years! Thank you Bree for this experience! I'll be coming back ??
As a first time donor, I was a little nervous about what to expect. Bree checked me in immediately, gave me all the information I needed, and took good care of me until it was time to donate. She's friendly, chatty, and quirky... and made what could have been a daunting situation into a fun, relaxing experience. The nurses, technicians, and administrative staff were all very friendly and professional. Will be coming back here on a regular basis to donate. Thanks everyone!
I'll tell you one thing as a returning donor, the fact that I have a 2-4 hour wait to re-enroll is crazy work!! The fact that I have been sitting back in "medical" for half an hour while they just push people through is crazy work too! The fun part is I'M NOT EVEN READY FOR MEDICAL APPARENTLY and they have me back here! No, I have to build my whole profile up AND THEN GO BACK FOR MEDICAL which will probably be another half hour wait!! This is ridiculous! Do better!
It should NOT take 5 hours to donate plasma with normal business! I'm fed up with the lack of urgency, time is money! I'm going to bio life... The new donor scheduling is ridiculous because I've been here for 2 hours and someone that is scheduled 2 HOURS AFTER ME GETS TO GO FIRST...... you guys NEED to be held accountable! I'm going to bio life!
Awesome service and I like Sam she's always smiling and happy. On a separate occasion I was messing with my phone while donating, and moved my arm to take a screenshot. I don't know the medical term of what my actions caused by I know that I lost conscience and Thank GOD for Chambers and nurse Charmaine.
Will say this place has change they have the smallest cuff and if it dont fit you you will no longer be able to donate here at all so if u got big arms i suggest not to go here cause it will be a waste of your time. They are gonna lose alot of donors cause of this. I had put this at a 5 star but now i will have to put it at 1
Stephanie rocks up front. Always quick to get us in and out! Thanks for all your hard work and all the other csl workers. You guys are awesome!!!
Sam and the whole staff are awesome! They all try and get everyone in and out as quick as possible! I've been going here, twice a week, for over two years and have never had any problems!
CSL has a great morning crew! They take pride in their work and make the donation experience enjoyable. You become part of another family with new friendships being made.
CSL Plasma is a good company. They have excellent service and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They make the procedure very quick and easy for me, especially Shonta. I would recommend CSL Plasma Tulsa 417 to anyone locally in need of extra income.
I have been going here for over a year. They are great .. always professional and friendly people working there.. Kylee, Malika , Chi, Jason, Sam, and the whole team are awesome.
Michelle in front is always so sweet. She always has a smile no matter what. She's my alltime favorite. Sam, kylie,, Chambers, maletca, Regina and Zack I can't say enough to show how great they are. I'm so happy I'm here and have this good team to be with
Shante is absolutely amazing. Her Needle skills are on point (pun intended)? With her natural charisma and attention to detail, you would be hard pressed to find somebody better. Thank you for all your hard work. God bless and thank you to everyone at csl plasma for making every visit a reason to come back.
I would like everyone to know of my experience in Tulsa Oklahoma...CSL Plasma on Admiral St.....they have been super Awesome...I especially noticed a young lady by the name of Bree...she was working the front counter she was very nice and thorough she bee bopped around the counter quickly and very efficiently....I was very impressed ...if only I could get this kind of service everywhere I went....this world would be a better place....Thank you Bree
UPDATE: This is place is the slowest in eastern Oklahoma with long lines they will have 20+ people in line and only two medical staff doing screening, why have 6 screening rooms if you only use two? The phlebotomist side is smooth but it seems they neglect the screening process and fail to manage that end it is not efficient as the other centers in this matter. Shonta is top tier! There are a few elite phlebotomist at this center and she ranks in the top! I have four people I request when donating and she?
Bree is a very helpful and sweet. She is awesome she got a Lil spice to her but we love it
Awesome place. Friendly and courteous staff. They took care of me an Sam is very good an knowledgeable. Never had a problem
Have had a lot of great experiences here, sam always kills it and makes me not at all feel the stick. Alot of positive people who appreciate there job at this place.v
Award-winning experiences here at CSL plasma. I love coming here... the attendance here are very attentive and helpful, kind ,considerate And has a family atmosphere to it that makes you miss it when you're gone.
Been to other places to donate even one place 6blocks form my house, will not go anywhere else the staff here is amazing it's worth the drive for the service. All the employees are amazing from start to finish gotta say chambers is one the best though.
Chamber is major don't say shit 2 no one has all the components & shows just devotion Kylie + Sam :) what else can i say, i?m A ham. Happier than at the trough happier than in the field, I just wanna listen 2 my headphones & chill?!
Loved the staff. Bree was amazing and made me feel a lot more at ease and comfortable.
I've been coming on and off for 20 years. It's way better than 10 years ago, but what is the point in an ?express pass? if it doesn't get you to the front of the donation line. Only screening. Pointless when they have no screening line. Just saying..
The lines were really long today but the workers were doing a great job! I've never had any problems here.
Definitely better than downtown csl. Friendly staff and faster experience.
I have been a faithful customer to this place. The other day I was having a rough day and went to donate I set up in the chair cause my head hurt and the needle accidentally fell out of my arm and then they brought me in a room and accused me of falsely pulling it out. Completely fabricated lie and you can see on the cameras it's a lie. They attacked me I will not return
The lady who stuck me (chamber) was professional the stick was good and I have her stick me on a regular basis all the ladies and gentlemen who work at this location are very personable and willing to do what it takes for a good donor experience
Jessica is my FAVORITE #Nurse at #CSLPLASMA! She's friendly, easy to talk to yet #Professional at all times, especially during medical sessions!
Chambers is great I even had questions about donating and she gave good advice. Would recommend CSL and Chambers!! Great job
First-time donor. I just want to say the lovely lady who checked me in was a ray of sunshine. The lady who did my assessment, I believe she said her name was Ice, absolutely phenomenal. She explained everything to me in such detail and was so kind. Pam the nurse was very compassionate and I appreciated her taking her time. Regina is the first person I've met to stick me with a 17g and on the first try. She was impressive and sweet! The experience took me over 2 1/2 hours but overall it was great.
Chamber's is super duper polite can't even feel it whenever she sticks me & Jessica is super polite as well
Bree was amazing & very helpful. She helped me through the process & understand everything
The very Sweet, Compassionate, and Attractive Nurse Pam, made my return donor process super amazing. I've never felt more wanted, and mostly appreciated for being here to donate. She made me so comfortable and was an absolute joy to talk to. She's completely an awesome sauce. ????
Sam and Rani are the best always hits the spot and always know my name. I love them!
It would be great if I didn't have to stand in line for 2 hours to donate... IT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER IF YOUR STAFF WASN'T HARASSING AND THREATENING TO THROW PEOPLE OUT FOR SITTING DOWN B/C THEY ARE TIRED FROM STANDING IN LINE FOR 2 HOURS. Evil little troll woman patrols the lines and bothers people instead of doing anything useful. By the way, anyone know how to change a light bulb?
The staff is very slow they only work on one side of the back room and make everyone else stand up waiting hours then their this one worker who literally won't shut up n just do her job literally will stop working to have a 20 min conversation with someone
Very nice people very respectful also fast in and out ..much love here
Honestly, I had the best experience ever donating. I had Regina take care of me. I believe she is a lead there. I spent at most 30 minutes between walking in and going to a bed. Regina's technique was great, felt zero pain when being stuck, friendly, great smile, pleasant. Can't say enough. Shout to Regina, you are amazing!
Great place and the employee BREE always has good customer service and makes it fun!!! No problems here!!
Sam was great she even made me laugh and smile I needed that it made my day better I appreciated it
I love everyone here, they're lovely to talk to and they're always kind. They're wonderful and knowledgeable.
Chambers was so sweet! Seemed very educated, I was very nervous entering the building as a first time donor, she made me feel much more comfortable, answering all my questions. She took good care of me today and very attentive.
Nice clean place friendly staff and I always have Samantha M. Stick me she is amazing
I love this center. I normally get Emory in the booth and she is PHENOMENAL. She's always got a smile on her face. Chris sticks me almost every time, he has never missed and makes it a painless experience.
Sam is amazing in the booth and she is so welcoming and makes you feel comfortable
All the staff is wonderful! Such a good group of people working there
Been coming here for a few years and seen a lot of things come and go but the staff has always been friendly
Helped me save a puppy from a well one day. Would recommend. Bring back gardetto chips.
Bree was amazing ?? The process went pretty fast.
Csl on on admiral is a nice place the employees are nice Sam,malika,Jason this just some of them. Like ???? ????????
Don't come here after a long days work. They will single you out and tell you you stink and defer you till you can come back smelling good. They have left me stranded in their parking lot multiple times over this and live 50ish miles away and have made special trips here and have come clean and been sent home empty handed.
I've seen Sam for like since I started donating she's an awesome original
Very slow and very rude only stick on one side of the room while the line for waiting people wraps around the building short of staff or they're just normal lazy n work very Slow
Sam and the morning staff are some of the best getting through donors so fast even when they are short staffed.
Sam is great with customer service and care while helping me understand my donation process!! She rocks!!!
Chambers is for sure, hands down the bed one to get. Plus super pretty. Very good at her job. Never have I been bruised. So just hope you get her and not a hag.
Jessica helped me out a lot and got me through the whole donation process! I'll be coming back for sure
Plan on being there about 2 hours. Staff is kind of friendly but they could definitely improve upon getting people in and out.
Sam is amongst the best at this place of business very family oriented a customer service expert!!
Honestly there are 1-3 nice employees that make you feel welcome and are good at their job. Although everyone else is just rude like it's a chore that you came in and they have to screen or stick you. I recommend getting first time donor money then waiting to go to another donation center because these people don't respect you at all and they barely seem to respect their paychecks. Be prepared to be treated like you are a drug addict even if you are squeaky clean.
I thought this place was great they was friendly the staffs was great thank y'all
Shawtay was excellent if I spelled her name right
Seems like this place going downhill as I'm a return donor from last year. Organization is still big problem I see, it's the company though, some staff members cool down to earth people. Waited 4hrs just to donate as a return donor wow. Lord willing this last time here, I'm going back bio life fully staffed, organized system they got going never took that long on a busy day!!
Friendly staff, they move as quick as they can. Make sure to come hydrated tho cuz they are tapped out on saline due to the last hurricane
Thank you so much bree you are amazing??
Shawntae has good energy and handle me with care when I donated
Decided to give CSL a shot after going to BioLife for a while. Had to sit around for 3 hours before anyone came to get me. Finally after waiting all that time I was seen by a worker for my bruises (keep in mind I only had one actually visible bruise and two others that were so insignificantly small you couldn't see them unless you were less than a few inches away and on top of that they were so slightly yellow that they damn-near blended in with my skin. Needless to say I was denied and wasted half my day t
Easily one of the slowest moving CSLs I've been too. Watch out!
Very polite and friendly staff. Shonta is very professional and friendly.
Many issues with the company but we'll start with the fact that Club crackers are not sufficient pre donation snack like the peanut butter and cheese crackers used to be. Employees seem very unhappy with management to the point they're seeking new opportunities. Hardly any of the folks I knew 4 years ago still work there if that's a testament to the high turnover. One of my favourite group leads quit due to things management refused to act on! Very disappointed in the location and by extension the company.
Much better and faster than the one downtown. The veteran staff there is great. Newbies not so much but I haven't had a vein blown in months. I go regularly.
Staff is amazing! Clean center and good vibes
I've been sitting here in the waiting room for 3 hours. Just to find out the girl at the front desk never checked me in. They kept taking walk ins ahead of me. I was here for almost 5 hours just to have them tell me I can't donate. Are they going to pay me for that time wasted? Of course not. Complete waste of my time.
I don't typically complain about a company or busy. However it's ridiculous as a first time donor at this place and I have been sitting for 1.5 hours before even getting through the physical part of the process. After this initial donation, I don't plan to come back here again. I have donated many times before at other places and this is the absolutely worse.
This place is gross and the people are rude. I would not recommend. BioLife is much better.
Great personality fun efficient and makes you feel comfortable while donating
If not Stephanie, it's another stepping up 2 the plate doing what needs 2 get done for greatness!! Their collective?s masking a 3.50 ERA, easily. Go team Tulsa!
Horrible wait times, team isn't happy to be at work walk in yourself the place is a mess.
staff is so open and friendly! morning nurse is the greatest
Diamond F. And Veronica M. Are always so nice and friendly when I go in to donate. The professionalism is amazing. I always look forward to seeing them.
Wait times suck most of the time but the staff is nice, mostly.
I love this place fast friendly and very sterile
They are friendly and helpful very good experience
Awesome lady chambers is sooo funny and makes pumping plasma fun
I literally just watched the staff here cancel a donor because she was talking on the phone in line. I've been coming here for years and though I dig a few people here, most of them are unprofessional and degenerate.....honestly they have always been nice and kind to me, but I quietly watch while they talk down to donors, belittle donors and now cancel one over nothing....I'll keep coming but I'm going to start putting my experiences down with my reviews. Could be fun
It's cool, a bunch of struggling people including myself just tryna make it.. They have specials to give you more money if you consistently go and other perks like cutting in front of long lines
Sam a senior phlebotomy is the best, she knows her stuff
Bree was nice very professional greet experience
The worst experience I have had in years. This location is terrible unprofessional at best. I was a first time donor did my paperwork online set up my appointment showed up on time. Boom from the start disinterested intake lady with a co worker that was gossiping about her having a boyfriend removed by police. She couldn't find me in the system and I was pushed to end of the line. I went ahead and got through the process and my blood pressure was a little high. I returned to the desk at the recommended time
Wonderful personnel with such a good attitude and service.
I get the area of town this facility is in and that they need to be thick skinned but they do not need to treat people the way they do. I thought it was just a fluke the last time but today, the receptionist was incredibly rude to me, I didn't even raise my voice or argue and I sure as hell could have because she was disrespectful and she knows it. She thought it was ok to just cut me off even after she was asking me questions, wouldn't let me speak and I was even trying to leave and she kept getting aggres
Regina is one of my favorites. Friendly, down to earth, and my pain level is lowest with her. I don't think they get enough positive feedback
Do yourself a favor and go to Biolife. These employees broadcast maturity levels of children at school, while Biolife resembles actual medical professionals. Only took 2-3 visits to get tired of CSL's employees mistakes resulting in loss of efficiency. This was also while watching them act like immature high schoolers.
10/10 experience. Jessica is the best nurse
Brent and Jessica plus Sam are Wonderful!
Horrible service, stuck me thru my tattoo multiple times then decided one day that they can't do that anymore. I will definitely be going to a different center for now on. Definitely a waste of my time and money.
I had a much better experience here than at BioLife, for those who are trying to decide between the two. The folks at CSL came to greet me at the front desk immediately and start the process. This was greatly appreciated; earlier in the day I had set an appointment online with BioLife, and when I showed up at my appointment time there were no clear signs or indicators for where I should go or what I should do, and no one greeted me at the front desk until 7 minutes passed my appointment time, only to be tur
Bree is Super friendly and great to be around
On 03/31/2024, 11:26 am, my pregnant wife, who ALWAYS waits on me while I donate, was kicked out while I was in line trying to sign in to donate by some white, dark haired ugly employee with acne on her face. Been donating here for awhile. Not bc I have to or need to. But because it was easy extra money. They've NEVER said anything about her waiting before in the waiting room. NEVER again will I donate here!
I keep trying to donate but it's so short staffed all the time it seems like and i have a terrible back at when I wait in line standing it hurts and then my pulse shoots up and then I get denied and told that I can't donate. I have tried to show up earlier and earlier but no chance it has been 3 days in a row and I haven't been able to donate because of this. I was able to once when there was enough people and I didn't have to wait as long but now it just seems like it takes forever I waited in line going p
Horrific experience I've been a CSL donor for a decade and after coming to this location, on my 3RD TIME, the lady shoved the needle clean through my vein, blowing it out. She then wanted to give it another shot on my other arm, in which I informed her that is NOT happening and Id be leaving. Absolutely horrific. IF YOUUUUU MESS UP, WE SHOULD STILL GET PAID I won't be returning. That was enough for me. I'm not surprised you have troubles acquiring plasma with the workers you employ. Don't respond to t
Well I just want to say that you're always going to get bad feedback in good feedback no matter where you go you got good employees who work there and you got bad employees who work there when I first went to this place I didn't like it because I had someone that was real rude this girl Stephanie ended up being real nice and every time I would go back she would always ask me how I was doing. She wanted to know what she could do to make my experience better she has compassion for her job and I am a hard stic
Quick and easy process. Hydrate, seriously drink allot of water. More is better than none. Eat easy on the stomach protein: eggs, meat n' tortilla/ dry toast. No dairy. You'll be okay.
Look when it come to csl plasma I get conflicted feelings about it because its okay most of the staff is kind and reasonable but upper management ugh how I wish they would chill out. I've had good days here and bad ones one thing I can say is prepare to be there for 4 hrs as a rule of thumb cuz you never know when your gonna get sent to medical for various reason some I get some are not I got a book of things I would change but no denying if you need quick cash your gonna get it if you bear the process
Staff is friendly and good at the job at hand
Great staff always fun and friendly
THEY ARE ALL VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY NICE LADIES.
It feels like the staff are always moving at a sloths pace at best. Stand in multiple lines waiting 30 minutes in each. I don't know if it's an understaffing issue but this needs to be addressed because it feels like the staff do not value our time at all, BioLife is so much quicker and efficient
Over it! Every time I have to deal with something... going to medical, have to wait for this or that, blowing out the vain is classic. Funny thing is I'm surprised they havnt been sued yet because I been in the medical field my whole life and it blows my mind how inexperienced you can be to work here. How is it possible the EMT can't give an IV to somebody who desperately needs it because they've lost blood but just about anybody can walk in here and work and stick people? At the end of the day this place j
Derrick is one of the best Here At CSL E Admiral I've seen this far .He's Very Patient Good And With The Donor's , he doesn't hesitate to do whatever it takes to comfort the Donor And make us feel at home I'm truly appreciative of his services here Thanks Derrick For The Kindness And Great Sticks Given To The Community ??????
This place has become horrible with wait times to get in and donate. Just three weeks ago I was in and out in 90 mins. Today it was 3 hours!!! My sister goes at different times and it is just as bad. The new manager needs to get this place back to running smoothly again. Seriously ridiculous on the time it takes to go through the process/donate.
Not a bad review for CSL but a TERRIBLE review for North Lane the card service they use. My wife has been donating for a while here and every time the card is loaded with money, North lane is taking AT LEAST $15 in "adjustments" and when you call to get some information on the adjustment, they tell you it was some sort of fraud. Today they took the more money off the card, around $14, and there was no explanation when I called. Then after being transferred they said it was a transaction for Apple WHICH THER
Quick service and good at their job
Sam is really good at her job
The line didn't move for 50 minutes straight and the staff just stared at us without any update. I realize it may be out of your control but if you're experiencing a problem, updating the people in line would help people decide if they're wasting their time or not.
Great employee, very nice and respectful
Just started donating here and it's been great so far. The employees have all been very friendly & helpful. The lines can sometimes be intimidating, but they move pretty quickly.
I went for my first time and I really have no complaints. They knew what they was doing. I can see why they have 1 star ratings because people are used to being pampered but they have alot of people come in so when they say next they try not to repeat because others weren't paying attention and that could come off as rude but I appreciate their service
Chambers is awesome, great personality
Between 2pm to 3 I was I row one in back right row by cams 3 to 4 women's conversation was more important then they work blonde blue eyes was rude
Sam was awesome, and I had a great experience donating!
I went to donate after a couple years. The nurse had to see me. She automatically said with a snide remark, oh well you're much heavier now and smiled. The last time I donated I was walking 3 miles there and back just to put ramen on a table for 5! She was rude all the way around! I've never been so poorly treated in my life! I won't say a name but a first initial A! But the other staff was friendly and courteous! I just think they need to deal with this problem. I've donated for years needed or not. But i
First time donor, showed up clean and washed, waited for an hour and a half in multiple poorly cooled areas only to get told I was being deferred for fraudulent 'body odor' complaints despite no direct complaints from any of the other possible donors. Tried to complain to management but it went undelivered. Avoid these discriminatory bigots.
Chambers is very professional and polite.
Love that the staff is comfortable enough to joke around donors. They staff treat each other like family and welcome the donors. My only complaint is the chairs are not wiped down between donors. I ask for James when he's there, best stick I've gotten there. The other phlebotomists are pretty good as well.
It's always a great experience
Jessica is the best nurse ever!
I hate the long lines... But even with that they move things along pretty quickly and efficiently. Most of the staff is professional and good at their jobs. I don't like how cold they keep it in the donation area, so if you come here bring a coat or blanket. I wish they paid more, too.
Been going here for about a year now, never had a bad experience with the staff. Every time I go in and Kindra, J'Riah, Autumn, Shonta, is working (or any of the staff for that matter) their enthusiasm, humor, professionalism and the fact that they are so personable makes it a good experience. I will continue going here for the foreseeable future!!! All the negative reviews must be for personal reasons because I absolutely love the attitude of the staff and the welcome home kinda vibe.
I give this CSL location 4 Stars. Th rules are clearly posted and the staff answered my medical/prescriptions questions. You get out of what you put into an experience. Reading the rules and requirements as well as watching the videos on site and on-line prepared me with what to expect. No place is perfect and both donors and staff have some days better than others. I kind of test a place like this by offering some smiles and a couple of kind words. It is amazing how far smiles and kind words can get
I am a current Donor I wrote this review because someone in higher management or even a potential donor needs to know about this center I'm not going to say all but there are some staff there who has the worst customer service I have EVER experienced in my life I know two people off hand because that's how much there customer service sucked!!!! It is Maxie and Delores. I have went through Maxie several times and each time she had the worst attitude she's rude last time I had to inquire about something that
This has been one of the better plasma donation centers I have been to. I have been to about 5 off and on in the last 10 years in KCMO and Tulsa. This one is cleaner (still could use a little extra cleaning) and the staff are the best out of all of them. I have seen staff at other places antagonize people, be rude, or treat people like cattle. Staff joke, laugh, and smile with the people coming in and with eachother. Overall the other clientele seem chill and do their own thing. I have never felt uncomforta
EVERY.SINGLE.TIME i have gone to this location they have the most hateful women behind the front desk. I had to be a new donor because i hadnt been in over a year. The woman at the desk started huffing and puffing and shaking her head because she was going to have to do a new donor paperwork. Last time i came, over a year ago, my whole arm bruised and swelled because they didnt hit my vein and they left me sitting like that for an hour. This place is so unorganized and the employees are very hateful and pro
I have donated plasma before back home in Oregon. I have to say this place ran very well for as many people as they have donating at one time. The clinic I have been to before was in a big city as well and only allowed a third of the people this facility does. Being new, I was there for about 3 hours. Everyone was moving along as fast as donation was finished. Everyone was kind and informative. Trina did a great job getting me through the process and besides a man who kept complaining about the wait, it wa
It was a little creepy to fill out the info then when i went to a backroom instead of telling me that i need to wait for my new tattoo to heal up they wanted to document all of my other tattoos then tell me. It was hella SUS . but other then that the people were nice but it takes forever even when your new
They are always really friendly
The staff is friendly and pleasant but 90% of employees are learning to stick needles in people and you're who they're training on. As long as you don't mind speaking up and asking for someone who knows what they are doing you'll get some easy money, otherwise may be in for multiple needle sticks, pain, and maybe still no cash? TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE BETTER CSL, WE ARENT GUINEE PIGS.
Jessica is the greatest
The wait is my only complaint.
They are a nice people
I tried to sign back up after not having donated in a long time. There was nobody at the front deskwhen I entered. I had to wait for several minutes before a tall white guy with a beard and a chunky black girl walked behind the counter laughing about how many people were waiting and she told him jokingly that she didn't even know if id been helped. During our interaction she was extremely disorganized and condescending to me. These people have never had good employees and after waiting years to go back beca
I've always got in and out within a hour and thirty minutes but that's because I try to take care of myself therefore the process goes fairly decent for me. Not all the staff is the greatest and they aren't as nice they could be but you have to think about the people they deal with daily.
Bri was perfect and very helpful
Seriously no idea why some of the low ratings. All the information from times to how much they pay are literally everywhere, and the staff was as cool as a polar bears toe nails (so was the temp inside) so bring a jacket, the anti coagulant part at the end makes you feel super cold. Over all as perfect an experience as you would hope. The benefit of helping others, while also helping yourself, all while being treated professionally is as good as it gets, don't listen to the one offs below!
We are very appreciative for the the hard work
Absolute waste of time. Go to grifols. They pay more, are more friendly, and have a quicker process to get through
A good portion of the staff treat people like they are cattle and they could care less. Their equipment to log in is terrible and slow, they have admitted to having problems with their thermoeters, yet if your temp is too high you can't donate. I've been turned away 3 times with fever like temperatures and I was perfectly fine. They have a girl there on staff named Trina that litter ally grunted and pointed at things instead of talking to me or asking me to do something. But that didn't stop her from singin
I have given plasma hundreds of times since mid 90's and this place has been thebest in every way possible.. I had a lot of good experiences downtown as well...the only bad experiences I've had is with ignorant donors who complain about having to wait until in a long line and have zero patience..the employees work very hard l. They are very good.
*Please read* My husband and I had been donating at a different location before CSL. CSL has a great incentive for new donors , reason why we decided to donate at that location. Let me say before hand ,we are aware of everything we signed , all the disclosures we read, and all of the risks that come with donating. The many times we donated at the previous location (BIOLIFE) NEVER , not once did we have a negative experience with the donation process, as well as with the staff. The wait times at CSL are lo
If you stay consistent and try to reach the bonus they will find a way to screw with you on the screening! I am on a high protein diet for my workouts and the lady poking my finger didn't get enough blood in the machine so I tested low. After leaving I went and tested my protein and it was a 6.6! Not a 5.8! Not worth it because you can't try to meet goals there without sabotage or lack of training! They refused to re-stick me and told me to return in a week.
Super friendly staff, efficient process, and fast payment. I was a bit nervous seeing some of the bad reviews, but they don't line up with the clinic at all. I am very impressed by the clinic in every way and will continue going here!
Sam helped me with my 2nd time donating
Horrible people and Karen's work in hand with this wanna be biker guy that thinks he owns the place, everytime I've been there they're always complaining wanting mask worn when the mandate has been over I understand them wearing one but I don't have too, I have gone to do my good deed the money was just a perk but with people like the guy who works there makes it not worth going at all! He's always looking for a fight, seems miserable with his life working there, he should move onto something else but shoul
This place is absolutely the worst place ever. They nearly completely blew the vein up in my boyfriends arm because they have staff with no experience putting needles in people arm. Also all they do is sit around talking loudly and laughing when they have lines of people that need to be taken care of. They are very rude and do not do their jobs. They are lazy. I highly suggest not donating here! State needs to come in and shut them down
some of the staff shouldn't even be there, they shorted me on payment, their lights don't work 95% of the time,I feel bad for the only few good workers they have that deal with incompetent bosses. Would not recommend it to anyone!no matter how much I disliked them.
Excellent Person. Always a pleasure.
As a disabled person I called to ask a few questions and was basically told I needed to come in to discuss the questions I have...So, Ill need to spend $7 to spend several hours on A Lift bus just to ask a few questions? No thanks! I'll be referring anyone interested to anywhere but this place, Very unhelpful, and seemingly acknowledge person answering thenphkne this evening...Very unfortunate
Great staff, beautiful people. Inside and out, but they will not give this disabled veteran job and that's cool! Because I am an ex rodeo clown, us army sergeant and author of the most desespicle pick line but effective in us army sergeant history. So effective man law states that you cannot tell any female unless she is the prospective target! So I got agree with csl management, beautiful staff inside and out.
I love CSL, they're awesome and have some pretty great staff members!!!
Staff was horrible, and straight up rude. The front receptionists talked to me like I was stupid. It was my very first time trying to donate also! I left before I could even donate because of how rude the staff was to me. LEARN TO TREAT PEOPLE BETTER.
I like donating at this location because it's clean and, friendly staff.. Tameka is the best!! She was super helpful and patient with me
I went to the CSL office on Admiral in Tulsa. Would not recommend this center. I filled out all of the necessary information, and I was good to go..until the physical. The nurse saw a black spot under my tongue, and basically accused me of being a drug addict. I take random UA's for my job. I don't do drugs. As I said, I would not recommend this center. Only gave them a star so that I could leave a reviee.
Toddy stuck me 4 times and never tried to find my vain. Very uncomfortable all she kept saying was she has been employed 4 years and she knows what shes doing. I got stuck multiple times by multiple people after I said I wantef to go home A woman named JEN came over looked at it and it took her less then 2 minutes to do it correctly. She should never be in the floor with that nonchalant act. I'm donating to help people but I don't want to he hurt in the process. Haven't went back sense
Every other time I have gone here it's been flawless but when I went to donate today I got sent away because of very minor bruising on my veins and wasn't compensated for even willing to donate. The staff was also really rude and snarky about it to.
Very nice and pleasant experience
Haven't donated here in a long time. So had to go through the new donor phase, so they give you a thing too read about rules and stuff. Just got told I couldn't have read that fast at all. So now I gotta wait until they feel like I read it. Hope the administration sees this
Sam is awesome very friendly
I been donating for a few times and before my last visit I was rejected because they stated I was allergicto latex on my profile. I stated I am no long allergic and I show no allergies to such item. However, I waited in line like normal and of course that was an hour or so and they said ?? NO. At least they could have given me something since they don't have NO LATEX ITEMS AND I HAVE ALREADY DONATED SEVERAL TIMES THERE. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED FOR NOT HAVE NO LATEX AND THEY TAKE OUR PLASMA! DISSATISFACTION
Here are some tips to help your experience. 1. Prepare your body. Make sure you are hydrated and your stomach is full. The whole process could take 5 hours so it is crucial to do this right before coming in. You need to be hydrated so your veins are stable and the donation goes as quickly as possible. You need to make sure you've eaten so that you don't get sick. You are required to wear a face mask. They have them at the front desk. You'll want to wear it anyway. The bathroom and some of the vital booths
The staff is really amazing. They treat people really good. They always help with any questions and make you feel comfortable about donating.
Drove 20 minutes to get there and waited an hour in line for screening just for them to tell me I can't donate because of the tiniest bruise on my arm that they gave me the previous time I was there!!! Maybe if the people knew how to find a vein I wouldn't be bruised. They also made my sister wear scrubs because she was wearing shorts in 100 degree weather.
There are some things that really do need to be looked into with regards to CSL's activity and practices. It was not that long ago when one if their staff members turned off the machine and left a needle in my arm, I payed there for two hours if not more. I finally started asking passing staff members if i could go home now before anyone actually noticed that the machine had been turned off. The interesting part was, that initially accused me of turning the machine off, I told them they better go look at
This place is a lie. Although the staff were friendly, they boast about earning $1000 for the first 30 to 60 days, but what they dont tell u is, that after they fail to find your vein properly in one arm. They try in the second and all is well. You bruise after they withdraw the needle, you bruise and therefore cannot donate again til the bruise is totally gone I talked to African Americans there donating and they said that they have never been disqualified from donating cause staff cannot see bruises thru
Sam was very kind and helpful
I switched back to the downtown one. And have had a better experience. Both centers never wipe down donor beds or the arm rest. But no hate its always appreciated the $25.
Awful first had to go all the way back to Claremore to get proof if daughters address, then drive back to admiral in Tulsa just for them to tell us her viens we're too small, what a joke she donates to Oklahoma blood institute yearly. We were very disappointed didn't get to donate or get paid staff was very unfriendly!! Bad experience!!
Do not go here Horrible customer service didn't let me donate because of my eczema but they let eackheads and metheas through no issue
I will NEVER go back. Today was my 9th visit this month. The employee Toddy Rabier jabbed the needle completely through my vein and started digging around. It hurt like hell. Had to get restuck in my other arm. When I spoke to a supervisor he did nothing. This woman clearly needs retraining. She was more interested in 59 cent tacos at Taco Buaino.
I have never been so disappointed in an establishment. Out 2/5 that I have gone, the phlebotomists have collapsed the only vein the could find on me, resulting in me sitting there in pain for for 30+ minutes until someone noticed that I wasn't getting any plasma out of my arm. This was both times! They did the same thing to my fianc?. They are going so fast and aren't paying attention to how they stick you. Pure laziness.
Staff knows what they are doing and have lots of experience. I can not say I get the impression of professionalism but I always feel like I get someone who knows what they are doing. They get you in and out quick enough.
Great staff good people
I'm all the way from another state and I had no problems some of the staff is under trained but there trying in there. It was first come first serve there just trying to do there job. I don't hate on em for that. Rules are rules
Sam was amazing as always!!
Get paid to save lives. What could be better?
Bree was very helpful !
This place is aweful just cause i had a baby two months ago they deferred me till jan 14 which is the stupidest thing ever and they make u sit in a hot car waiting on ur other half. The medical person was rude and said that im not doing abutting im not allowed to sit inside. They need to have a waiting area for guest to
they were all very professional and helpful. very long wait and the room was freezing but the service was good
Amazingly Friendly and helpful people
Walked in and was instantly informed that your first and second time is $75 no more than that and that it's a 2-3 hour wait. The info on the website for the possibility of $400 is a lure. Do not go for it if your expecting more money.
They discriminated against my husband for a certain tattoo. Would not allow him to donate. They also refused to let me donate because I didn't have my marriage license. Both my Drivers License n my Social Security card are in my married name an I have been married since July3,2008. Not to mention my proof of residence is also in my name. I truly think they are racists toward us both.
I had an excellent experience, they treated me like family. Thank you Rani, Jessica, Sam, Teresa and Joanne. You were all very sweet.
Ive donated plasma in several states, and they were convenient enough to have waiting rooms for donors and guests. This CSI plasma does not!!! And the lady behind the front desk acted like I had did something wrong. I was here today for moral support with my friends.. And so I am saying that the employees were very rude. And the business itself obsolete. ..
The morning crew is the best
Super nice and talkative and helpful
If I could give less I would. Yea Its a great place for extra $$$ but when they done use the correct equipment and try to tell me pulse was over 120 I won't return. I even had a pulsox showing that my pulse was only 90.
Would be nice to know after waiting almost 2 hours and reading their binder with rules and regations that they don't include that recently having a baby defers you 6 months of donating for a time of 6 months. That going thru most of the process and then tell you that you can't donate for having a baby. Maybe they should include that very important vital info in thier binder before someone wastes their time waiting to donate.
Friendly staff and clean facilities. The only real problem is that they are chronically slow. I got there at opening time and not only was there a full line (with no chairs mind you) but I stood in the back of the line for a full hour. This has happened multiple times and the only reason I can gather is assigning to many of the staff PTO at once.
They get you in and out fairly well. The staff do a great job! Anyone who gave them a bad rating should check out the downtown location... Ijs
Shonta did a good job
The fat nurse never listened nor did she take any time to inform me of anything and clamed their tests were better then the health department and said i was a lier and refused to help me understand things and i called to find things out i was on the phone for over 10 minutes on hold alone i feel like this plase does not care or care how people are treated and i was very disrespected when i was here ill go some where else that doesnt treat people so terrible. Update the manager Jerry is rude and will not lis
This place is AWFUL! They are rude, trashy liars! They purposely blow veins on the clients so they can not receive insintive pay!!! You're arm shouldn't bleed for days after donating! They use the exact same vein every time so as to keep this scam up! Please I urge everyone to go to BioLife! Don't settle for this nasty scummy liar filled gutter trash !!
Appreciate you guys but stop being so unnecessarily stingy over 1$ bottled water lol it literally doesn't make sense. ?It's a reward for the new donors?. Nooo?.. the reward is the 100 dollars lmao not the 1$ in total water so we don't pass out while donating. You give people money for donating, you can provide 1$ water lol it's just a safety hazard
0 stars because no where online does it tell you they have a max weight limit for donating so if you are not between 110-400 lbs you can't donate. On top of this the staff working 10-3-22 was very rude
The staff is very unclear on how the donation schedule works. I was told 2 days a week, every other day. Now they are telling me I can't donate today which is making me miss out on the promotion, a small part of why I donate, but nonetheless a part as to why I donate. I suggest the other location if possible.
It's aite just the employeea needstip cussing and gossiping around the customers while trying stick the needle in the arms I cuss all day everyday and for it to offended me hate see bout ones who don't like cussing and other than a long wait I didn't have any other problems neither my 2 visit
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
