The nurse Mona Stoner is amazing. Like the rest of the staff. All of them are great. There are a few that go far out and beyond when helping you out. When you walk in there is a young lady that always says with a smile "welcome in" she does that to everyone. I watched her. Her work ethics is really amazing. That litter thing make people fell good. Your blood is doing a lot of good and your getting paid for it. The people that are the phlebotomist. They are also very good at what they do. They educate you on
Everyone at BioLife Plasma is very professional and very knowledgeable as well as kind and concerned that the donors are comfortable with the process. Always ask me how I feel several times during the process. The phlebotomists stop by several times to check on me and how the machines are working. Also, this place is spotless! Very clean and well-kept. That's important to me! I appreciate their service. One suggestion, all new donors should be walked through the complete process, from the way the mac
Had a great first time experience at the Visalia location! Mona(RN) was an absolute treat and I'm grateful she was able to help me today! And on top of that, Angela and Kelsey were top tier phlebotomists and had me super comfy through the process! Ten/Ten will return again!
I thoroughly enjoyed my first time experience here much more than I thought and I owe that all to the ladies here! As soon as I walked in, i was greeted and once I was with the young lady she explained absolutely everything to me and was very patient with me! She was working hard and diligently, running the show! I enjoyed her company, but didn't get her name. Just when I thought it couldn't get better, My nurse Mona proved me wrong!! She was absolutely wonderful and we could?ve talked for hours, made me fe
The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions and made sure I was well informed about the process of donating. Providing snacks to insure i would be stable during my donation.
My experience was great, everybody was gentle and welcoming. Everyone was more than willing to answer my questions at all times. Dr. Stoner was kind enough to make casual conversation with me. While it took longer than expected, it was overall a great experience. I will continue to donate in the future.
Mona was amazing ! Super welcoming. Made me feel super comfortable. Miriam helped me on the floor and was super nice and informative. First time experience was awesome (:
The first donation takes a couple hours to gather information and get a physical, but after that everything is smooth sailing. The staff is on point only one time I was there was a hiccup but since then it has been very good I intend to continue donation and guess what? You get paid, what could be better than that and everything is done safe and in a safe environment. Remember you're doing it for two good reasons, your helping save a life and you're getting paid, you can't ask for anything more.
The technicians are very nice at BioLife. But since I've been going over 2 years and donated over 100 times I have not got any promotions or coupons sent to me. I checked my email every time but nothing. I see a lot of people online getting promotions and coupons and I wonder where mine is. I've been homeless for 4 years and I could really use the returning donors coupons or promotions. Please let me know what's going on cuz that's false advertisement. Thank you very much sincerely returning donor.
Let me just start with how awesome nurse stoner is. Yes that's her last name, so friendly, makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Staff is so friendly as well and phlebotomist are gentle.
More staff needed, once I made it to a chair it took 30 minutes to get hooked up. When I finished it was another 15 minutes to get unhooked. Not sure I'll be going back , took longer to get hooked up and unhooked then it did to donate. Sraff are all great, just more needed.
This was my first time ever donating plasma, so I was really nervous. The nurse, Mona was super nice and she thoroughly went over everything with me and eased my anxiety. When I got to the back, the women in the back talked with me to help get my mind off being anxious. Everyone made it a great experience.
From the moment I entered the building, I was greeted with smiles and even had a few giggles about tea parties with the front staff which helped me to relax as my information was being entered. This is my first time ever donating and Nurse Stoner was amazing! She me feel very comfortable by educating me to what the process would be like. Once I was placed on the chair for the actual donation again the staff took the time to explain to me step-by-step as to what was going to happen. I appreciate each a
I never received my payment after countless days of trying to reach a manager, I give up. The tech was not able to get the needle in my arms, and left them both severely bruised. I was informed I would still receive my payment after all that and nothing. I won't be donating here again anytime soon.
This is a great place to donate plasma. The staff there are very polite and friendly (especially the intake nurse who does the physical with a peace sign necklace (Sorry I don't recall her name) & a staff member named Angelic. They both go above and beyond! ??) It's a clean and sterile environment. There's always someone available to answer any questions you may have. Will be a returning donor in the near future. It's a 5 star place, most definitely!
despite the wait time, staff were friendly and approachable. for my first-time donor process, i was there for approximately 3 hours.
S/o to my girls Becca and Mona! You ladies are killing it in Bio! You ladies made my first time experience AMAZINGGGG! You ladies deserve a raise. Seriously! Can't wait to see you ladies on my next visit! Xoxo ?? Sincerely, Your Gemini??????
When I went the other day, the entire process was quick. The clinic was clean and I was attended to by Jess who made the experience easy and efficient. Will definitely be coming back.
From my very first interaction to the last. The staff was amazing. They were very welcoming. I truly felt they cared that I was there. It was a very positive experience and it's all because y?all staff is the most professional and amazing team. Especially Nurse Venese (Very sure I spelled that wrong) who did my physical. I would definitely recommend biolife in Visalia on Moony if its your first time. They are awesome!
This place is so busy that the phlebotomist don't have time or don't care to change their gloves they're constantly in between patients and when we do ask them to change their gloves, they give you a look or they tell you they've already have when clearly you have been there for 30 minutes watching them, touch every other person and all the plasma and blood from everyone else. Tons of cross-contamination going on in that place
Very Professional Place. I have been going for over a year now. Very Clean. The Staff are all incredibly kind and Helpful. They make the Experience that much Easier. Mona the nurse is a sweetheart. Once again the Staff is incredible. Some Standouts are Julie,April, Angelo, Jonathan. Marybelle,Ally,I would recommend this place.
It was almost a year that I had been going to BioLife plasma last month in January. There was an incident that occurred last month in which I lost over 200mls of red blood cells due to a hole on the IV line which was not my fault. The line was quickly removed and I was seen by the nurse. I was given a bag of salty chips and bottle of electrolytes and then sent home 30 minutes later. I was given no special instructions to follow nor have I received a follow up call to see how I've been doing. It's been a ter
It's a great place with even greater staff. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Houa usually takes care of me and helps me along the way.
Mona stoner is the most awesome nurse! I love all the staff there they are so great and so sweet and welcoming also angelic up front is the nicest girl and makes you feel so welcome thank you biolife Visalia
Yesterday, I experienced an overwhelming atmosphere, with over 20 people waiting in line. The staff, though limited, struggled to process donations. I am confused as to why appointments are offered if donations are not manageable. Please consider our time.
Staff is friendly, place is reasonably clean in the morning but later day is trashed. I only recommend new donor programs due to payment level, but the longer you attend, the less and less they pay. So I stopped donating.
On 6/20/25 I came to donate early at 745am so I could go to the Mtns after well when I arrived there were 13 people in line waiting for vitals and 8 waiting for bed . There was only 2 employees doing vitals and 8 on the floor. After vitals when I got to a bed I timed it and it took 37 minutes to finally get stuck when 2 people that came after me got stuck right away!!!!!! This place really doesn't seem like they appreciate the donors that keep the place running very much. I've been donating 7 years and neve
You can leave them about 50 voicemails because they are ?too busy attending other donors? but they will NEVER get back to you. So frustrating and ridiculous. I know my reply back from them for my review will just be ?sorry for inconvenience we try are hardest to?.? and all the bs. but nothing will be changed.
Anytime Rebecca is working, I always request her for the needle stick. Not knocking anyone else that works there, but she is the best IMO. Staff has always been friendly and yes...sometimes there are long wait times, even with an appointment. They have a 10 minute window before and after your scheduled appointment, so I always try and get there as early as possible. I'm nearing 200 donations and am still pleased with the service and staff.
I did my second donation today and everyone is friendly and helpful. It feels good to give back to help others!!
An easy, and quick check-in followed by a phenomenal job by Jess today. She's always so attentive and professional. My favorite donation center!
My experience here was great for my first time coming here. The experience is swift for new donors as they get placed in the front of the lines, returning donors seem to have to wait longer. I do have to say that Mona, the nurse who did the physical, was exceptionally kind and attentive. She made the wait a little bit better by handing out snacks to the people standing in line.
I do not recommend this facility to anyone. Half the time they miss your vein and leave you bruised. Then switch to the other arm and bruise you there too. Then you are unable to donate until the bruises are gone. If and when they mess you up before you can even make half a proper donation, they refuse to pay you. Quite frankly, it is costing me more to donate than it is to not donate and they leave me bruised for more than a week. Pictures are 1 week of heat and ice compresses and Arnica ointment, after th
DOING SOMETHING LIKE DONATING PLASMA AT A FACILITY LIKE BIOLIFE-VISALIA, MAKES IT EVEN BETTER. THE STAFF ARE AWESOME; THE FACILITY IS MAGNIFICENT. I AM ON MY WAY THERE TODAY FOR ANOTHER DONATION. BY THE WAY, THE PERKS AND REWARDS PROGRAM ARE VERY GOOD AS WELL!
Love BioLife and being able to help! The staff is so nice and mona Stoner the nurse is hands down my favorite ????their all helpful sanitary and answered all my questions.
Nurse stoner is very helpful and all ways so kind she no her job and does it so well she a blessing to everyone ?? thank you for everything you do
Influx of new donors makes waiting time a little longer than usual but not an inconvenience to me. However, if I get deferred on my first appointment, there is no longer time in the same week to get the second donation in.
it's a very fast paced environment. it's important to pay close attention. they will guide you through the steps and how to improve your health. my nurse, miss Stoner, was the happiest, most guiding person throughout my process. she was a great help to my comfort and knowledge. definitely looking forward to returning:)
Great place staff welcoming and nice but they are understaffed waiting time is crazy. Had my appointment at 12:20 and was in line for more then 2 hours left the place at 3:32. They really need more staff for such a busy place
An excellent facility! They are very professional and take great care of their donors. Everyone I've worked with has been friendly, efficient, and have take great care of me. There have been a few times my iron was not within metrics, which is always disappointing, but they provided me with effective advice and gentle understanding. They are also quick to answer my questions and provide assistance when I needed it!
I highly recommend BioLife over Octapharma. BioLife has way better promotions and they keep it at a consistent pay even weeks after your initial donation.
Nurse Stoner was amazing, she is such a delight to speak to. Facility was clean and staff was very nice
This location is worth a brag! The staff works together wonderfully despite all the pressure they stay under. They take care of their guests! I'm always happy to see Julian & a few others that I can't remember to name. I know I'm in good hands with them. They're super fast & puncture my vein effortlessly everytime!
Its a great place, the staff there were very friendly and helpful. Really good place to make donations. Thanks
I been meaning to leave a review, forgot until now. Almost every worker I've spoke with or dealt with have been very professional, helpful, and efficient at their job. I believe the main one that went above and beyond was named Rebecca(sorry if I got the name wrong or misspelled it). She helped me when I needed to do the protein(SPE test thing), up front check-in, and the normal plasma donation. Each time she has been very professional, friendly and kind with how she treats the patients like myself. So effi
Best experience they explained step by step in detail and constantly checking and asking if I am okay and if I feel any pain
I had donated here about 2 years ago and every time I'd go I would have issues and ended up with a hematoma after a year and a half I finally stopped. The people that poke you were sometimes careless and would t do it right and would t take responsibility. When I'd ask for someone in particular that I knew wouldn't hurt they almost seemed to judge you for asking them to do it. I gave it a break for almost a year and decided to go back and give it another try. I had called about a promotion I received and th
Was a pleasant experience. The whole time I had someone guide me and explain how the process works. What to expect and aftercare.
My experience was great! I just finished my first donation ever here at BioLife in Visalia. Everyone is kind and walks you through everything. The environment is very clean & organized. Loved my time with Mona, Nurse Stoner :)) She's great, welcoming & such a fun spirit. If you're thinking of donating, this is the place to do it.
I had a fantastic experience at BioLife! The process was straightforward, and Darcy made sure I was well taken care of and comfortable throughout. Her professionalism and kindness made all the difference. I would definitely donate again. Highly recommend!
April hooked me up last week. She hurt me when she inserted my needle, it was a bit too rough. Other than the pain I'm still feeling because of this, the rest of the donation went fine. Normally it's pretty rare for this to happen. The staff does great!
Workers are nice, but they need more. Takes too long to get in and out
Great environment and facility to be in. Not so great experience when it comes to employees handling the donation process. During the last few consecutive visits, I've encountered issues that would otherwise have been avoided if not for the lack of focus and attentive demeanor. After donating for several years at BioLife, this particular location is amateur.
The staff are very generous and polite especially Mrs stoner
Every time that I donate the experience is good. Staff is always kind and considerate and helpful. The music is great too, as well as having clean restrooms. I enjoy doing my part in donating plasma to those in need. Thank you all for the work you all do.
THEY TAKE SOOOO LONG HERE. It's never a fast experience. The staff is great they just need to work faster.
Very friendly staff! Whole process is super easy just be prepared for that big needle :?(
I just love Julie at the Visalia office. She is so friendly, kind and attentive.
"I've had a great experience donating. The staff is always professional and really goes the extra mile to make sure donors are comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean, organized, and you can tell they take safety. All the employees are amazing. especially Mona. She's outstanding at what she does, with a friendly and calming approach that makes the entire donation process easy and stress-free. Whether it's your first time or you're a regular, she's there to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Staff was super friendly. First visit took about 2 1/2 hours but that was mostly rhe physical and paperwork stuff. Hopefully you get Amber doing your physical, she was amazing and definitely helped with the nerves of first time donation.
I went in feeling unsure and once in there became real nervous but once I got to sit down with nurse Amber and go over everything and what to expect, answered all questions i had, it made me feel soo much better & my nerves were gone. I was then able to proceed with donation. Thank u nurse Amber
I went to BioLife plasma of Isaiah and was treated with respect and definitely had a great time dealing with it be my first time. The nurse, Amber definitely made my visit a lot more smooth. After speaking with her I was definitely more confident in continuing the process thank you to the nurse Amber. I will definitely be coming back to this location in Visalia to donate more to help save lives.
i love the front desk girl and nurses!! genuinely friendly and make you feel very comfortable. i had a phlebotomist today i want to say her name was Daisy? she had a double nose piercing and she was by FAR the kindest i?ve experienced the 4 times i?ve gone. very personable and sweet. majority of the ones i?ve had in the past were OK but she really made sure i was okay and to let her know if i needed anything whereas in the past it was hard to get someone?s attention which i understand is difficult sometimes
While the staff as a whole is fantastic, I want to praise Rebecc(k)a specifically. She's phenomenal every single time I see her. Absolutely professional and makes the whole process of donating easy and comforting ????
Lorita is one of the best nurses someone can ask for. Her kindness and smile will make any bad day a great one. Thank you also to the staff who are knowledgeable and always willing to help!
They have been professional and welcoming. The processes are fast. One nurse is my favorite nurse. As of late though the doctor said recently I have pre diabetes and am needing to go back on antibiotics. I will donate again when I am cleaned
This place is well organized and well manage and this place is super professional and courtesy whenever I donate.....
The wait was insanely long, I waited over 2 and a hours to get to a bed. And I was there past closing time. The last two times I've been there. I've waited over 2 hours. Other than that the service was great. And quick and painless
Nurse Amber of Visalia BioLife was extremely kind and knowledgeable and really helped me to relax my anxiety. The staff was also knowledgeable and kind and in my opinion they went above and beyond the necessary level of patient care. Visalia BioLife and nurse Amber should be recognized for their level of empathy and professionalism.
The phlebotomist here are great , super friendly and skilled . They have made my whole blood drawn process easy and comfortable for me.Ive only had one bad experience developing a hematoma this is why i give it a 4 star rating and wasn't explained of what was happing at the Time, only was given a paper to read. That person no longer works there . I appreciate their professionalism and gentleness from some . One of the Phlebotomist I do recommend that are amazing is Serena . She's positive extremely educat
The physical nurse was very helpful and very personable. Made me feel very welcome. I was very comfortable with the phlebotomist. Overall the nurses from the front desk to the back were all great at their job
Friendly service. Good attitudes. I'll definitely be referring others
I've been donating since November! It is definitely a unique experience. I have not had a bad experience so far! All of the staff are very friendly and fun! Julie, Celeste, and Katherine are always a good time and make me laugh when I see them. I've had a couple complications while donating but the staff has always made me feel safe and well taken care of! They are so good here that they are so busy from the time they open to the time they close.
I have been going to biolife for about 4 month now. The staff there is very welcoming and pleasant. The service is quick I am usually in and out of there in an hour. Using the customer friendly app help alot. You can count on your payment being posted the same day. Usually with in the hour after donating. This company is on point.
The staff is amazing, they're very welcoming, patient, and thorough with the whole process. It was my first time donating plasma so I was extremely nervous but the confidence that the nurses and technicians displayed helped put me at ease.
Friendly Staff members, fast donation, process, all around good experience
It's a good experience. From a clean environment to having friendly staff. They are gentle when putting the needle in my arm, so it never hurts to much. The best part is that my plasma is used to make a difference. It helps to make medicines that help people with different diseases. I also get paid money each donation that I make. Overall it's a good experience!
Was made an easy process! Darcy took great care of everything and made sure I was comfortable I would definitely donate again especially if she's working at the time highly recommend!!
A little bet of my time helps so many People. I do t mind 40mins of my day to help and I get payed for helping.
Service was great, however the person that initially inserted t needle, poked rather hard and caused hematoma for the second time in two weeks, luckily April was there to switch arms in a timely manner and I was able to finish my donation. Now I may not be able to donate for another week for the professionalism by the staff.
The staff is awesome. Every organized & clean. Nurse Amber you did a great job. Look forward to returning and inviting others
The staff there are helpful and do a good job and make me feel at home and is a pleasure and honor to donate
Very friendly staff. Especially the front desk and Nurse Amber. She handled business with a lot of nurses calling in that day, she handled it with a positive attitude. Give that woman a raise! ???? I tip my hat to all the employees they are non stop moving they all deserve one.
The staff is super friendly & very professional as well. I have had Adrianna as my nurse the last two times & she's amazing. Very recommended. I'll be here every week doing my part.
Nurse Amber did a lovely job. The exam went smoothly. & the entire process was made better by Amber?s efficiency and attention to detail.
Awesome place, kind and very helpfull Staff. Araceli G. the super nice nurse was the Best extremely professional she comforted me all the way, I'm definitely recommended this Clinic. Thanks Again!...
Very nice workers made me feel comfortable and gave all the information I need to feel safe
My appointment was at 2pm. I didn't leave until 6:30pm.. it's really hard to donate or even want to donate when you basically have to block out most of your day just to do so!
I would like to share my high compliments to nurse Amber Nicole for always being very professional, attentive to every detail, making you feel so welcome with her joyful disposition, friendly, beautiful smile, always with compliments that will definitely brighten ones day. Very kind and caring, leaving you completely comfortable in every duty she performs. She will always acknowledge you each and every time you arrive if she happens to see you. I have only great and very high compliments of the lovely profe
Didn't know a place like this existed!! Super cool program that pays good and is for a good cause! The staff is pretty friendly and everything is ran professionally! Would highly recommend this place if you needed to make some extra cash or want to do a good deed..
All staff are so respectful and nice every visit to this facility. They all complete their work in a very clean, professional and proper manner making my donation easy, comfortable and very welcoming for my next visit.
Beware if you struggle with anxiety or depression they wont let you donate until you pay YOUR money to go to a doctor to get your complete medical history sent over to them as well as a doctor signing that youre ?sound enough? to make your own medical decisions. Actually ridiculous practice to have someone wait a long time in line just to be sent to a ?nurse? to be turned away. And when asked about how a 10 year old depression diagnosis is relevant to donating plasma and why they need my whole medical reco
It took me a bit to get in because of paper work from my doctor's office. I had to get clearance to donate. The staff is just doing their job and making sure everyone is safe. The staff is great the Nurses are very friendly. I had many Nurses but one stands out the most. Amber was the best help and has a great attitude towards people and very informative. Thank you for everything
Nice and friendly girls that work here. Will be coming back to donate forsure.
For first time donors, be aware, when providing your ID and social security card, they do not have any privacy walls. Be aware their App, email notifications don't match on how to prepare you for when donating. Their app only informs you on how to be a qualified donor, but when you arrive, you get told additional requirements. They app and their services do not notify you on now to prepare the day of you donating. They are understaffed, and there is a long wait time for donating. Your wait time is spent on
The staff was very friendly. When my arm started to bleed out the staff response was fast and professional. I was able to continue my donation without any further complications thanks to the staff at BioLife in Visalia California.
Such a great experience! The first visit is about two and a half hours. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. They made the donation process so comfortable all of the techs are so sweet and really take care of you. I just finished my first donation and can't wait to go back. Also the app is so convenient with keeping track of your appointments and promotions! Keep up the amazing work, y?all are awesome ??
I donate here and while everyone has a bad day every now and again, they're for the most part great and easy to work with. Definitely recommend going here!
I had a great visit. I can't complain other than the wait times but with so many people its to be expected! They ddi the best they could with their machines and staff. Assistant Manager Q was The BEST!!! I'll be coming back and requesting her! She made it so much better and was very careful and calming. Thank you!
Nuse Stoner was awesome thank u so much ??
It was my first time donating plasma and was a bit nervous to do so but Amber and Angelicque made my experience so much better! They both had amazing energy which helped my anxiety. Any question i had while donating was answered by the phlebotomist near me. Definitely come to this location if you're interested in donating. 10/10 service and 10/10 donation.
Staff is super nice. On my second visit I was poked in the left arm and it didn't take. They inserted the needle on the R arm and it took, but soon then stopped. My R arm has a bruise 8 inches long and is super sore-still a week later. This isn't for everybody.
Staff was very positive and friendly! Amber my nurse was so nice and helpful. Sophia and Jennifer who got my connected and disconnected were amazing and I didn't have any discomfort at all.
I have tried 3 times to donate, and 3 times they mess it up. Whether not telling me what I need to bring, making me wait 2 extra hours, or not having the nurse show up to do it. The utter incompetence has completely removed any desire to try to donate here again.
The staff was really great. Makayla took my vitals and was very gentle and professional. Amber took my physical and she was very informative and kind. Daisy connected me and started my donation, she answered all the questions i had and was very nice. Had a overall good first time experience donation ??
I have had a great experience with the BioLife community! Everyone was so welcoming and made sure I understood what was happening and why it was happening. They reassured me that I could leave at any point and even gave me some snack the first visit! The first visit is truly the longest but after the 2nd and 3rd time it gets easier! I totally recommend donating your plasma at BioLife!
First time donating staff was friendly and nurse Amber made my anxiety go away was so nice and professional Will coming back and spreading the word!
First time and was great experience and the nurse that helped me was amazing. Staff was friendly and overall great experience. Can't wait to go back
Update: Tried to give it another shot and donated once this week already and it was ok. Came back for another to get the rest of the bulk of the money and now they say their systems are down again. Never seen a place with so many issues. We need another plasma place in Visalia this sucks!! Wasted my morning. Do Not Come to this place they ripped me Offfff. I have been donating 8 years and never been treated this terribly. They gave me a coupon for more money then failed to honor it the second visit saying s
My experience here was that it is very clean and everyone was friendly and professional. Only downside is that I absolutely was not expecting to be here 3.5-4 hours for my 1st donation. Every station was jam packed and some areas were standing room only, no chairs. If they didn't have the donation bonus it definitely wouldn't have been worth it. But the nurse mona who did my physical was awesome; she had such a great upbeat personality!
I had to wait an extra 15mins and was sitting outside nurse Amber's office, there was a lady inside with her and I heard the nurse say "what are you doing here, you look like you got your stuff together", I automatically thought how unprofessional and how dare she say that out loud!!! She has no clue why ppl are donating and what their stories are! I felt like I received a kick in the stomach. so disrespectful ?? ??
At the end of my donation, the machine didn't give me all of my blood back. It was only a little bit But, since this was the second time this has happened in the many times I have donated, they gave me a 6 week ban. Was not my fault. And was no big deal. Why are they punishing me. They should pay for the 6 weeks! It's their fault. Not mine. Can't give 0 stars. Can't help change life's if I can't donate. Makes no sense. This is the Generic responce I got for this review. "Matt, thank you; we apprec
Overall it was okay. I've donated whole blood before which in comparison feels more homey, more one on one. Biolife feels more like a factory in comparison. I understand they have a die and process, but it can feel very impersonal much of the time. I also suffered a major hematoma on my first visit, which has caused me to not be able to donate for at least 3 weeks until I heal as they won't allow me to donate until then. Aside from those I didn't take it badly, I work in the medical/mental health field so I
Sylvia and her Staff are super friendly, they're always trying to make you comfortable, the nurses are always super sweet, I had a reaction my first time and they took very good care of me!
Amber was great! She fun so cute and professional. 10/10 Julian was great also very kind and the best phlebotomist I've been poked by.
Unfortunately I had an awful experience. It was going great in the beginning (besides the long wait) The staff was amazing for the most part. That all drastically changed when I saw the nurse for my physical. -I was berated for not eating anything in 4 hours besides the goldfish crackers offered to me (I had been waiting there for 4 hours and ate a good meal prior to going). She said that could disqualify me from donating. I asked if I could have a protein drink that I saw a different nurse grab for her pat
Have gotten two hematomas on two different occasions from this location. Good if you need money but they over book, and even turn you away from your appointment sometimes because they have too many people. It needs better management.
amber made this visit awesome! First time donating and as packed as it was, amber made me feel important for donating blood, got me to first of the line due to the delay of technical difficulties. so, that was the ice breaker for me. I'm definitely going to be returning thanks to having top notch customer service by amber! You rock! She also answered all of my questions regarding payments, future visits, red blood cells etc. people like you make the world feel a better place all around with just your exist
I had a little free time on my hands today snd stopped in to donate. It was extremely busy. Several of the donors expressed frustration with the wait as they'd been waiting over 20 minutes to get screened. The assistant manager that goes by Q stepped in to lend support and the wait time reduced drastically. Some of us were chatting about how fast she helped to restore order amongst chaos. Q was friendly, thanked us for our patience and invited us to return for a more pleasurable experience. I'll be back tha
I recently had the pleasure of being attended to by Adryauna. I must say, my experience with her was exceptional in every way. From the moment I walked into the orange section, Adryauna greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. Her positive energy immediately put me at ease, as I was feeling a bit nervous about the needle stick. She took the time to explain the procedure to me in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that I understood what was going to happen. Throughout the entire process, Adryauna disp
Nice 1st time experience. Did take 4hrs! Reason why I gave 2 stars it's because they DONT CHANGE THEIR GLOVES in between patients. They disconnected a lady next to me ( blood , tubing and liquids) and she came to disconnect me with same gloves! I mentioned something and she simply replied that they only changed them when the gloves are ?soaking ? not my word but hers!
Lady at the front was very rude, will never return ever again!
I was feeling discomfort on my arm. I did not want this day anything I was being brave, but lucky Adryauna came to my rescue. She did what she needed to do fixed the issue and made me feel better. That very sweet and beautiful of her. Thanks Adryauna my Hero ???????????? Starbucks?..,on me??
I had a good experience the staff was very friendly and the RN Rhea was very sweet and informative/professional, she made me feel super comfortable during the interview. It was a little hectic being the first time donating, but the staff was great and the space was clean.
I've been donating for about a year now and there's a girl that works there named daisy she's by far the best one there that does the poking. You can't feel when she sticks you or when it gets taken out. She's hands down the best ??
Every time I have gone in everyone is nice. I enjoy chatting with everyone. Julie is a delight. Araceli is very sweet even though she has a tough time with my veins but does a great job.
I've been donating since they opened in 2021, great staff. Biolife on Mooney in Visalia is a awesome place to donate. Octapharma opened up and they pay more. Thank you Biolife, but it's time to move on.
Better staffing and organization would improve the donors experience greatly! Very hit/miss with how long a donation will take due this ongoing issue...sometimes minimal wait, sometimes hour+ wait times when appts are scheduled at the same time of day - this inconsistency is very frustrating. They also no long even give bottled water to donors!!! Use the drinking fountain they say - Really??
Great place to make a little side money. The staff is so friendly and caring to all your needs and concerns. I'd like to thank Adryauna for always getting that vein everytime. She always so happy and makes me laugh. Thank u team
Very professional and but welcoming at the same time.
The whole process didn't take very much time and it was good and healthy experience.
The staff do a nice job and try to get you out quickly
First time plasma doner at BioLife! Everyone was super friendly, and informative about the whole process. It was a pleasure being helped by Becca, and Danny ??
I was more than happy to donate at first, I had no issues with the initial health screening or blood test. I was well within the requirements to donate, once I hit the waiting area after being given a Protein Drink I was left there for close to forty minutes. By the time I saw the very Rude Physical Nurse I had been in the facility for two and a half hours, I was asked when I had last ate and I said the day previously (midnight technically) once that came out I was berated for not checking my email that sa
I love Amber! She is an amazing nurse and makes the process super joyful and worthwhile. Thank you God for allowing us to cross paths.
shoutout miss Julie she's awesome, ask for her and she'll get you right :)
Everyone is friendly knowledgeable and take every step to make your experience comfortable and painless. Mona is the best !!
Stopped by to make a donation but had issues with my accounts. There was a manager by the name of Q who was able to provide assistance without having to complete another physical. Though it took some time, she was patient, kind and addressed all of my questions in a timely manner. That really put me at ease. After this process, I look forward to seeing her the next time around.
very friendly staff, walk you through the whole process even as a returning donor. and have a lot of patience with all donors. and great promotion deals.
It started out with a bad stick but one of the techs went the extra mile and got me through with no problems thank you staff for being professional and polite ??
Can take from 1-3 hours. That is the only problem. I walk in, look if there is a long line. This determines if I will donate.
Amazing staff. Great place. The workers greet you and make sure you're comfortable.
I was actually scheduled today for a physical and donation as it would been my first time experience, but then out of the God damn blues they rescheduled my appointment for another day with no warning or any heads up like a day or two at a early time to notify. I travel to Visalia by bus so not only that time was wasted, but my first time experience with them is just horrible, unprofessional, and disrespectful to pull this off for someone like myself.
Staff here is very polite the over all atmosphere was comfortable clean and the process was smooth and your well taken care of!
I had a great experience at my Biolife in Visalia Ca. Staff was very friendly, courteous and talkative. They all knew what they were doing. The only downfall is the wait time but overall. I give them a 5 star. Kudos to all the staff
Awesome staff! Julie always takes good care of me during donations and i get paid well. Definitely will be back next time!
Things have gotten so much faster and smoother now than the first time I was did this 20 years ago. When they aren't busy it only takes about an hour for the full process, which used to never happen. Several of their phlebotomists aren't good at anchoring before they stick you, a couple hardly do it at all, so you might deal with some unnecessary pain (but some lean their body into it and you feel nothing).
Have the pleasure. Of Adriana helping me today. She's always s Kind of respectful always has a smile on her face thank you keep up the great work
So a process that used to take an hour to an hour and twenty minutes now takes 3 hours? What happened to this place? I would shop around before coming here. I talked to another person that said his first donation took almost 10 hours ??. Mine only took 3 hours the first time. Not sure what happened and when you ask management they just deflect. As management it is all your fault everything that happens in the place you manage falls on you.
Some of the nurses, the ones who helped did my intake forms were incredibly nice. Until it was time for my physical. That lady was so undeniably rude to me, not only did they waste hours of my time, but I got no compensation.
I sure hope they've made some improvements. I have my first appointment tomorrow, we will see how this goes. I definitely am going to write a report for the better business bureau to investigate if it doesn't go well.
This place is awesome I've never been to anywhere other than the military where everybody knew there job and accomplish there mission very very clean respectable nurses and staff. Super friendly and I am glad to have this company helping the community you guys rock - DeAndre k
The staff was wonderful and it was a pleasant experience.
Amber was an awesome nurse! She leaves no stone left unturned and was very nice, genuine, and professional. Made my first donation experience awesome.
Amber was a really nice lady, she made me laugh and comfortable while taking my physical
I donated today as support for my husband, and had an adventure...the staff were so friendly and resourceful..Miriam did my set up pain free...you go girly..great job!!!
Great service all the girls were very knowledgeable and friendly. There was a nurse named Amber who went above and beyond to show great customer service, very authentic and she was very knowledgeable within her profession which made me feel comfortable and made the visit peaceful.
My brother's were there today for an appointment and waited for 4 hours and the licensed practical nurse named Heather made a racist comment to my brother I called 7 times to report her but they kept ignoring my call then when I got through and asked to speak to someone in charge they said they would call me back by the end of the day but never did. I need the corporate number to report her but can't find it.
First off Allie the nurse was amazing friendly and very imformative as we walked through the physical loved her ?? staff is also very imformative and friendly calming environment....awesome music too!!
The staff is phenomenal the extra incentives really help. It's quick and hurt gives me joy helping others with my donation
Great experience. The employees are helpful and super nice. I will definitely be going back.
Yep, I had the most awful experience and I will never in my life return. My first visit 5/11/22 in middle of donating I fainted was surrounded by people they were trying figure out what caused my reaction. The nurse just told me maybe I wasn't hydrated enough or not enough protein in my body. My first visit I waited 4.5 so I thought about it said maybe you're right. Well I did wait, waited all day and missed my lunch. Dumb me: Go for my second time months later 10/5/22 some one name Julie did something on c
Ever since the hours changed there is at least a 2 hour wait for you to get a bed then another 45 minutes to donate after. I think the opening up earlier was h day made it a longer time than it should be. They should?ve just opened up Monday with the same hours. Or hire more workers. It's getting to the point it isn't even worth it anymore. I have over 200 donations so this is ridiculous.
I can not say enough good thing about this place. EVERYONE is so helpful, friendly, and professional. The environment is clean and welcoming. Sometimes it takes longer to donate because of the check-in process but that is the only negative. It's great for a little extra money and getting me out of the house.
Love their positive attitudes, smiles, and their concerns to making you feel comfortable through the process of donations. Thank you Araceli.
Amber was so nice and made me feel comfortable did a great job with smile on her face had a good experience over all
Staff make you feel comfortable and are very welcoming. Tamara, Julian, and Celeste at the Visalia location are amazing.
Hi. Kuddos and thankyou to all the staff, especially (Jewels) at Bio plasma in Visalia, CA. All are doing an excellent job. It's so much faster and smoother. 1hr 15 minutes the most you wait. Once again great job and thanks again. God bless. ?? ?? ?? ??
So I'd say my experience here was a bit off some employees were nice but considering I'm trans they kept using my dead name when trying to call me back after I've repeatedly told them that it is necessary to announce, only on paper is where it is addressed, still in the name change process but even the doctors kept referring to me as he/him when I clearly go by she/her. It was just extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable and most of them have no respect it's a bit mediocre in there lol but the time a lot
Abraham was so sweet made me feel comfortable and was the best one I had yet! Def recommend him and if I could I'd request him every time ??
Waste of time and gas. Had an appointment for today at 9:10am. Have the confirmation email. Then I'm told I wasn't scheduled till Jan 3rd. I didn't schedule. I got a call yesterday from the center but I couldn't answer due to work so once I called back they were closed.
Every encounter was pleasant. What a grt team!!! Made me feel comfortable and at ease from the beginning of the process. Thank you, Mona . THe reimbursement is sketchy, just found that out the hard way!! 3 stars, tops! 4/2023
Very nice people knew what they were doing answer all the questions an nurses amber was fantastic an explain everything and answered every question
This is second time ive been unable to donate because of a small burn on a my arm the first time i understood but today i came in the first thing i ask if i can be checked by nurse to see if i was able to donate becuase of the long wait didnt want to waste my time. After i see nurse she clears me and then i stand in line for 2 1\2 hours just to lay on the bed and a diffeent nurse tell me i cant donate. told its to0 fresh when it already has a scab formed. Had issue resolved by management.
Everyone was nice and happy they were very patient not one sign of rudeness or frustration. Dr Haley was the best!!
Adriana, Michaela, and Jewel always take very good care of me. It's so nice to work with people like you and for a good cause. I think you should give the girls a dinner out. Thank you, David
The staff is friendly, caring and helpful. Every time I go I have a good experience. I would highly recommend this plasma center to anyone.
The whole process takes about 3 hrs! We come in here with a good heart wanting to help others in need for plasma and they can't even give us a water bottle they say it's not for returning donors. Then when we are done with the donating plasma it takes about 30 mins to unhook us .
I just love the staff. They are so friendly and have been inspiring in many ways
They told me I couldn't donate because I had a back injury 2.5 yr ago ! This is the second time I've had issue here .. Visalia California office is horrible! I went to Joplin Missouri bioplasma they are great and fast ....the nurse @Visailia , California office was rude manager came in but he knew I was right but didn't want to override his nurse !!! Can't wait till Octopharma open up this place will loose most of there donor!!!!!! .
I have been donating here since returning in late November after surgery. Today, I had Adryauna doing my donation. She was friendly, PATIENT, and calm under pressure. With mechanical difficulties slowing her progress, she had a smile on her face to show it wouldn't let it dampen her day. Even when there was a small hiccup, she asked for advice from Zahra. I have known Zahra to have been working at this location for a long time. She also has been positive, understanding , and knowledgeable in the correct way
I was very impressed with the screening process. They do everything they can to make you safe and the plasma receiptient. The thing I am annoyed about is I went for my first time and instead of seeing I was 69 and telling me I was past the cut off age they let me stay two hours and complete almost the whole process. Not nice ,even though retired I do have other duties..
I am very impressed by one of your own, Adryauna Speer?.she is always pleasant, patient, and provides the LEAST painful ?stick?, didn't even notice which is very much appreciated! I always look forward to seeing her nice smile at the BIOLIFE center.
I am a current donor I could count with one hand the workers that are nice nd friendly but the rest omgeee they don't like it when you let them know it's burning you/hurting you or something is wrong, I understand they are tired but maybe they should get at management on that not donors.
Amber is a delight. Got me set up and moved along quick and painless. Definitely recommend 10/10 will return because of her
Mona was very helpful and welcoming I would tell all my friends about how welcoming and sweet people are here
This place is a joke now due to hour changes. You wait 2 hours to get a bed. They should have kept the same hours if you don't have enough employees to fill the shift and to have all the sections open also some of the workers are a little slow and rather have a full conversation instead of get the line moving.
The staff is really great. Right now, they're over booking both new and returning donors so it's pretty backed up. I'm hoping things settle down soon and I'll give it a higher rating.
First time donor. The process was fast and easy. Amber was a personable nurse made the experience even better.
Such beautiful atmosphere and ppl. My first day went so smoothly you'll wanna keep coming back. The money is also a very big help in these hard times....
Adrianna is gentle and very sweet no pain at all. It's a great place to make extra money, and in this economy every bit helps.
Absolutely horrid. These nurses are constantly chitchatting, giggling, flirting with the customers, on their cellphones, and NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. HIRE NEW EMPLOYEES. These people are so unprofessional. Worst plasma location I've ever been in.
The staff is amazing but they over book here for returning donors take almost 4 hour even if you have an appointment mine was at 1020 1130 now still inline sucks need to pay more for 4 hour wait time smh would be a 1 star but staff here are super friendly update its now 1220 still in line to start donating been here since 1020 don't get the point of appointment if it still takes 2 hour to get started
I'm a non smoker with Asthma and I was told I could not donate because I have copd but I never smoked a day in my life these people are not doctor?s and I don't deserve to be treated in such way also felt very judged since I walked in their the nurse Amy was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable! Do not go their !
The check in is alittle difficult it never seems to work with my finger print I.D. but the facilities nice and clean the staff is very nice seem very efficient very friendly good place...now that the check in has been cleared up this place is 5 stars
Made an appointment and had to reschedule because nobody showed up for work. Saying they had staffing issues and was treated poorly.
I have been going to Biolife for over a year and the staff is very pleasant and friendly. Most of the time you can get in and out pretty quickly (within an hour and a half).
Julie was super nice very kind and gentle. Would recommend for anyone trying to help someone or just make some extra cash.
Walked me along a 3.5 hour screening process to tell me I don't qualify because I take a common hair loss medication. They could have figured this out within the first 5 minutes. There website is remarkably vague (picture attached).
Everyone very helpful and showed compassion. And got me threw the process as fast as possible they were all very nice
Everyone works as quickly as possible and is attentive throughout the entire process. It was a good experience despite the long afternoon wait. Since they open early, it's probably a shorter wait in the morning.
The first time I cam I only had a problem with the nurse for giving me a hard time about not having eaten enough protein but when I came in for my second time they had me waiting forever just for my veins to get checked all while these two employees sat back and helped no one. Will not be coming back.
Quick easy no hassle. Just bring a blanket
Amber was the best I enjoyed the time the help and the physical part was smooth and her personality was outstanding.
Staff is always nice and asking about your well being through out the process. Wait times have gone done significantly, however still get some days with a little wait.
Great Staff! Free EV charging across from the building, so I always come out to a full charge. It has its days with it being crowded.. so you don't know what you're going to walk into.
The reimbursement is sketchy!!! Calling to inquire doesn't work. They don't answer the phone. Once I was put on hold and then hung up on. Another time, they picked up the phone and hung it up. I left a message but have serious reservations about whether they will even call me back. Very disappointing ??
You could have an appointment and still be stuck here for 2+hrs after donation you can guarantee to have fatigue and low energy wouldn't recommend
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
