After going here for a while and having normal experiences for the most part with relatively nice staff I ran into a day where my stick was done horribly wrong. They tried to readjust the stick about 10 times leaving a giant bruise on my arm then stuck me in my other arm anyway. In response to this I wasn't given any compensation and was rejected from donating again the next time I tried to visit. Where they proceeded to tell me that I had consented to the negligence shown in this location and said they wou
I have been going to this location for a year. The staff does a great job at making me feel comfortable. Jasmin and Laura are very attentive and professional. There is a lot of room for error for a phlebotomist, but the staff here is excellent.
When I went yesterday, Laura (what her face mask said) blew my vein out, which caused me to pass out. It was the size of a golf ball... I immediately went to urgent care after I left yesterday due to the fact that I could barely stay awake... Today, my whole arm is swollen, hurts really bad, is very bruised, and I'm very weak... I do not recommend this place, at the least Laura... The arm she used is a very healthy vein (no tourniquet needed to insert needle, though she had the cuff so tight my arm was pu
The staff there is very friendly and attentive. It was my first time going, not gonna lie I was super nervous, but they do a great job of reassuring you.
I used to donate here years ago and came back recently to begin again. I came back today for my third donation and although I had food before I came, I realized I probably had not hydrated enough as well. I ended up near the end of my donation feeling light headed & horrible. I raised my hand & an employee, Ellie was there immediately. She was absolutely fantastic, calming & supportive. She made the experience great despite the event. Thanks Ellie for being great at your job & sweet!
Never donating again I've done it about 6 times and got screwed 3 of those times One lady was to busy talking with another staff member while she was poking me and accidentally hit an artery Another lady stuck me about 5 times till she got it right and left a huge bruise from blowing out my vein Each time I tried to tell someone they would look at me as if I was crazy Please if you want a good experience don't go here all of the staff are young adults who care more about talking to eachother and being in th
Not a horrible experience, although I saw the one woman who worked there named Reese downright disrespecting her staff in front of donators. I don't wanna go there anymore knowing my plasma is probably paying her wages.
Amazing place, extremely friendly stuff and they pay you $100 for the first time you go it's really cool I'm on my way now to go do my second donation
Usually had good experiences but the last two yes weren't great. Especially today. I've been done and sitting there for at least 25 minutes and I'm not exaggerating. I'm so pissed because they finished several people before me and let knew people in when I been finished and sitting there. Now my arm hurts and I've never had pain afterwards because of the needle just sitting in my arm for so long! I am absolutely pissed!
They're one of the slowest centers when it comes to new donors. The octaphma plasma center in Whitehall is clean, fast, and professional. I prefer that one.
Waited 2 hours only to be treated poorly by staff, spoken down to like a child, and told I couldn't donate because I had a small scratch on my finger. I literally watched the person doing physical exams let a woman donate who had TRACK MARKS on her arms, which can only come from injecting drugs. Yet, I couldn't donate because I had a cut on my finger? Also the old women taking vitals at the front are miserable and nasty. Do yourself a favor and go to a different plasma center. UPDATE: I filed a formal compl
They hurt me worse than any plasma center I been too. The person poked the wrong vein. No plasma center sticks me in that vein and for some reason the woman wanted to do it. I could barely work from my circulation being bruised. And the bruise traveled up my arm. They did still pay me out but deferred me for a month so that means I won't get my new comer payout by then. I'm lost on what to do next but try out another plasma center but nobody wants to go through the whole process again for qualifications.
They didn't use tape my first time so the blood return was a fail it went into my arm but not the vein. They told me I had to see the Dr. Who comes in on Wednesday. Well 2 weeks later after going back and forth the Dr finally came in and cleared me without even seeing me. There should be better communication there somehow someone should be calling the people that are on hold for Medical especially when it's CSLs fault it happened. I lost a month of Donating because this happened and because the Dr took so l
Staff is very big on safety, & also wearing the right PPE and also very respectful
Honestly, They deserve 0 stars. For all that we go through, to allow them to Invade our bodies, allow them to take our vital bodily fluids, KNOWING they profit at least $5000 for a bottle of Our Plasma, and them to have the Nerve to offer us $45 for ALL OF THAT, is Absolutely LUDACRIS. The sheer Greed, and indecency is inexplicable, and downright disgusting. We should be receiving AT LEAST $100 per session, Every single time I open the app to see the ?Potential Earnings? and see $45 and just laugh. ATROCIOU
From the moment I walked in I enjoyed my experience. Every employee was kind and gentle with me. This very sweet worker by the name of Christie Gomez reassured me im I'm safe hands as she perfected her occupation. As well as the gentleman named Jose who believed I'll do fine without fainting. I appreciate the hospitality throughout my first time at CSL. Thank you for your time and smiles.
Friendly staff , they work quickly & efficiently. Lisa was the greatest. She helped me through each step of the way. Amazing multitasking. Great conversation to help keep you calm during testing. Definitely recommend this location.
Christie was so nice, supportive, and professional. She always made sure to help me if I needed the help. She is an absolute asset to this work place and my experience was made significantly better by her hard work and efforts.
Let's start off by saying that ty the phlebotomist it's absolutely awesome he has the best in the most softest hand in the world I didn't even feel the needle going it is my second time here I came in July so there's a first time the second time I came they sent me away because I had a bruise on my arm they thought was still from the needle but it was from my third-shift job so I got discourages. came back today and they only paid me $35 should have been a hundred . They said it was because I was suppose
Very rude and unprofessional woman who took my vitals. When it came to removing the arm piece she ripped it off, refused to make eye contact, was distracted with her overly loud coworkers and spoke in a tone so low not even Horton could hear her. The place smelled like pee when I went in and the employees seem to believe that they are there not to work but to gossip seeing as that's all they were doing.
Lisa made my visit to CSL PLASMA a GREAT!! Experience. I went to donate on 10/24/2023 at approximately 9 a.m. It was too early for me but with her mild manner professionalism, caring, light humor and knowledge of her tech work. I was GOOD!!! It felt like she loves what she do and smiled the whole time she cared for me. I felt very comfortable ?? and safe. You might need more techs like Lisa, who gives her undivided attention to the people donating.
Been coming here for a while. I definitely miss the lady up front Lisa. She was very nice n knew her stuff and was quick. Some of these ladies talk too much amongst themselves. Bring Lisa back!
Christie was so kind, supportive, and professional. She took time to make sure I understood each step of the process, and treated me like an individual. She is an absolute asset to this organization and my experience was made significantly better by her hard work and efforts.
I have been coming to this place for a while now. Lisa is the best up front. She needs to be a trainer. Even when she stick my finger it doesn't hurt and she doesn't twist my hand all up. She moves quickly and efficiently and be pleasant and helping everyone up front.
This place is crazy busy. However the Lady that helped me is bomb. The other girls were talking so much and moving slow. Lisa is great! She need to be a Supervisor up there or something! Kuddos to her!
Some people here are more pleasant than others. Visited here this week with my mom who donates. The lady at the front desk Lisa was great. She explained everything perfect. Was very nice and had a great attitude. I will be back to donate as a new donor this week because of her.
This was my first time donating plasma. I was really nervous but Christie Gomez went out of her way to assure me everything would turn out great! She guided me through the entire process, explained pros and cons and made this experience pleasant and wonderful. Thank you Christie! See you soon :)
I will never go back here. They are very rude and unfriendly. I felt like an inconvenience. They clearly didn't want to be bothered.
Lisa is the greatest. She actually works and talks to the donors. Not just talk. She is efficient. Thank god you guys hired her. Other people are nice here as well. Place is also very clean.
I will say this. Lisa is reception is the best. All the time I come here she's the only one that even gives me a band aide . Showed me how to use the app. Literally be trying to help everyone. She is the best!
Mia really does an amazing job!! Previously when I've donated the needle would hurt, Mia makes it practically painless!!
Every time i?ve come to donate, everyone was very friendly. Lisa is amazing. She's been nothing but sweet towards me every time i?ve come in. I've never had any issues during my donating process and never worry about anything because Mario, as well as the other staff, really know what they're doing when it comes down to inserting the needle to donate.
Way better than Octapharma. The Lady Lisa that helped e was great. She knows her stuff. Very pleasant. Patient. Great personality. She is te best and has great customer service.
Overall I would say it's an easy process if everything goes right but I didn't have such luck. Why am I still giving this place five stars you might ask... Well because the people were great. A simple mistake was made on a very busy day and I got locked out of the system for a week. They stayed in communication with me and let me know when the issue was resolved and I was able to come in and donate. Everybody was very kind and respectful. They walk you through the entire process and will answer any question
Terrible management. Execution of check in is not efficient nor a value add. During the week they give out sticky notes with numbers if ?system is down? aka they're slow to open on time. Inadequate number of staff. I return simply because monetary gift for donation is good, but as soon as a better plasma location opens closer to easton I will leave this terrible company behind.
Great place, pleasant staff, I usually have a great experience here. I would like to preface this by saying however that at the time of this review that they're definitely low staffed which I think is something that is just out of their hands at this point, and I would also say that a lot of the donors don't do what they're supposed to do and end up wasting everyone's time. There are some longer wait times however these are based more on the day and the time of day that you go. If possible I would personal
The ladies asked if their was anything wrong. I felt that I had went to the the wrong area. So she then reminded, me on how to go about the process. She then was able to throughly ask me questions to double re check for any error. She then continued to explain the process. So that I would have a better understanding I thank her for her consideration. She was very helpful in addressing any of that mistakes that I had made. She had showed concern in the matter. Thank you again Olivo, Miguel A
Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I have gotten Lisa several times for my vital check. She is very professional and i always feel comfortable with her.
So many of the employees I see regularly are fun and I hope they know how much it means when they stay so positive since I can only imagine how stressful it gets anytime people are acting impatient! I will also say I miss all the good snacks that used to be available. I appreciate anything but I miss the cookies!
Christie G was very nice with me ... The way she made me feel comfortable through the process says a lot about who she is .. I hope she is being treated very good there .. csl plasma is very fortunate to have her there ... Thank you Christie G .. God bless you...
Super clean facility. EXTREMELY welcoming staff. I noticed they know and talk with all return donors. It starts with the front desk workers who are great and make you feel at home with the pre-screening. Both times I have gave, the process has been awesome and mainly because of the people working there--from Ashley, to Keith to everyone! Still keep going and Patty and Mario are awesome!!
I'm giving a two-star rating, because the wait time was not terrible especially for being a new donor. Plus, it helps to show up at an early time. When it came to start the donation process, the tech kept jabbing my arm, and I was very uncomfortable. He didn't express to me that there was an issue, but he had someone else come over to take care of my arm. Then I was told that they could not take a donation from me today. so I was sent home. I thought the staff was very nice in the beginning, but the experie
I was so satisfy with the experience donating for the first time. I went nervous in there but from the minute I walked in they were so pleasant made me feel comfortable giving me all the information I needed and when they same team work CSL has that. When I went to donate Mario was gentle and keeps u entertained while he sets you up to begin the donation. I would definitely recommend people to come to CSL in Allentown. Can't wait to come back in. Thank you!
The initial process is rather lengthy so I suggest going before 12pm. The staff that I encountered are friendly and made me feel at ease. Actually, upon my second time arriving I wasn't able to complete a step. One of the very busy nurses (definitely not working with full staff but name a place that is) went above and beyond to fix the issue and made it possible for me to donate. I was truly thankful for the extra care and attention.
A bit of a wait. However, Lisa was phenomenal. patient. Moved efficiency. She knows her stuff Helped me with the app and everything. Definitely knows her stuff. tried to help everyone
Ok, so, this place isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's obvious that all these positive reviews mentioning "Lisa" are fake af. Don't take my word for it, though. Just scroll down and you will see that almost every good review has the name "Lisa" in it. The negative ones (aside from this one, of course), have no mention of "Lisa" whatsoever. Either these poor souls who are leaving these bad reviews are showing up on days and at times when "Lisa" isn't working, or folks are verbally being told to mention "Li
Aside from the mediocre service CSL has a corporation uses our life-saving plasma to make handsome returns on RX medicine and has the audacity put an expiration on the points earned through using their application. Ridiculous and a very rude thank you. Also anytime you use your debit card you get charged a $1.50 along with other balance fees. This Corporation makes enough money and does not need to be nickel and timing it's donors.
I was a little scared going my first time; I'm terrified of needles and I have a very low pain tolerance. However, from my first initial phone call about how it works (honestly didn't even know I could get paid doing this) to my first visit, it went really well. And the staff was so nice and friendly! It also was nice to see that the staff was human; they laughed and joked with one another and just talked to you like a person. It made the experience much nicer than if they were robotic and I felt like I cou
Ms. Lisa made my visit to CSL PLASMA a AMAZING!! She is literally the best. When i know she is here i know i am getting out fast. Thank you so much Ms Lisa ??????
Thanks to Lisa I was able to download the app. Noone even mentioned it in intake. She is very nice and helpful . Can't say everyone else was on the same page. She needs to be like a supervisor or something.
This place since I have been coming here is a joke. Literally does not matter how many phlebotomists are upfront (I only ever seen 2 max) the wait is ridiculously long because of the chatter that happens between coworkers during each donor. Then after I complaint for the second time the manager gets a attitude with me telling me I don't need to know what they talk about when half the times it's gossip because I literally hear them while I'm standing in line. What they talk about and what they do. They do c
Went in for the first time, lady at the counter was rude right off the bat. After calling to ask questions since they opened, it's now after 12 and I had called since 9 am. Can't speak to anyone because the second it goes to their actual phone and not automatic system, it's just a busy time for over 3 hours. I've called before with no issue and people I spoke to before were always nice. Went in in person to ask questions and start my first time there. The lady was very rude and unprofessional. It's not my f
I was seen by Christie gomez who was very nice and uplifting because I was in a horrible mood before going in but she was able to make me smile and laugh because im sure she coukd sense my bad mood , Christie was very professional and was proficient at getting her job accomplished in a very timely fashion she definitely single handedly made the experience better because I was on the verge of walking g out and not even donating.
CSL Plasma was amazing! Especially being only open for 2 weeks, with everyone in training, my experience there was beyond great! Everyone was so nice, the environment was very calming, the staff was very apologetic about having to wait because of training going on and I understood completely! When it came to start donating, the phlebotomist was very gentle when it came to sticking me with the needle, and another lady removing my needle at the end of the process I didn't even feel it being taken out! ?? they
The building is very clean and the staff very friendly. They made the process simple and they accommodated me at every step. Every single employee there was super professional. I'm glad this establishment is near my home so I can have a great experience every time I visit.
Horrible! Been here for an hour and twenty five minutes and still have six people in front of me to get checked in. Only one person checking people in. Doesn't care about people's time. Edit: At an hour forty-five minutes a second person is now checking people in!! Still in line. An hour and fifty-five minutes to get checked in. 19 people in line behind me. She asked me to come over then walked away. Waiting over five minutes in chair.
It's my first time donating here, but it's not my first time donating plasma. The staff were very friendly and professional. They made sure I knew the whole process and was comfortable making a donation. Renee, who inserted the needle, did so without any pain or discomfort on the first try. Sarah was very helpful in making sure I knew about the current promotion going on so I could take full advantage of them. Overall, the place is very clean and easy to navigate through the different areas.
My first time donating and they do a great job at making sure you feel comfortable about the risks associated along with making sure your healthy and well enough to do so. All staff greated me with a smile and made me feel like family. Will 100% be back!
If there were a zero I would give them negative to infinity!!! The kiosk is broken everyone was having problems and after I waited over an hour in line for screening she tells me the kiosk didn't register my answers and furthers it by telling me I did not finish at the kiosk and to go back and do it correctly again with a very disapproving look. I am not a child and she is not my mother!!!! To talk to me and deal with me this way is completely without reason!!? Their Kiosk is broken not my fault. You know i
What's the point of making an appointment? Directions on the app say that someone will greet you and give you next steps when you arrive. I stood there for 20 minutes and the only person who acknowledged me was the security guard.
Great place. Great people. Especially a lady named Christie Gomez. Always professional with a welcoming smile and personality.
Came in for the first time and was taken through the registration process with Charlene she was very professional and kind. She made me feel very comfortable. Also Gigi was the person that did my pre-screening very sweet. Simone was my medical examiner she is very intelligent and informative. Great staff definently coming back.
I have always been hesitant to donate but a friend of mine works here and explained the entire process to me. This was honestly the best experience I could ever have. All staff members were friendly, attentive and make sure you understand and are comfortable the entire time.
This place is very bust. The Lady Lisa is extremely helpful. She made me feel calm. Explained everything. Very positive lady.
Something up with this place been here a total of 4 times originally donated twice came back for a 3rd and they wouldn't let me donate saying something about my alpha level 2 being low that same day i left here went to octapharma donated there for 10 months no issues what so ever well there lines started to get long so i came back here donated 2 times again came back for a 3rd n they wont let me talking about alpha level 2 again its ridiculous ill just go back to octapharma and wait its honestly not that ba
This place is awful. Some of the staff is great but they do not care about your time at all. What should be quick and easy is often hours long. Hours.
If you're a newbie to plasma donation, avoid this location. I've tried twice and was turned down before any kind of registration. Zero customer service skills. Terrible work ethic. No compassion. The employees only want to do the bare minimum. The first time I was told that since I just had breakfast I couldn't give, come back tomorrow. The second time (a couple of weeks later) I was told to go eat lunch because I ate too long ago. These responses plainly tell me, "I don't have time for you." If you have a
They say it's open from 7 am - 7 pm. But for a few days in a row now, I have found them closed at around 8.30 am. If you are not gonna open until 11 due to staff shortage just update your schedule then. Why make people wait hours in the heat outside when you're just gonna be closed anyway. Updating donors about the actual schedule would be beneficial to both parties. So, please have an actual opening and closing time.
Place is nice. Everyone pleasant. Lisa did a great job during my screening. She knows her stuff.
I been going to this location for a bit, I go like every week faithfully, I also know the process every time until this one nurse name Lou also go out her way to make me even more uncomfortable also so rude! The one day she said you need to put a mask she scratches her head and graps a mask for me to hand it to me!! Which is very disgusting. Lou the nurse really need to know how to greet people with respect also better manners!! MISS LOU if you don't like your job find another Karen
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This is the 3rd time I've tried to go and donate. The first time, I was turned away completely because I came to late in the day and they weren't taking any new donors. Then I went to another location, got in and did my 2 donations so. Can transfer and not have to go through the new donor process and they turned Me away again because my account still said processing and accepted. Ok so I go back to other center and donate 2 more times, to go in at 5:45pm (now
I have been going to this location almost since it's opening and I have had consistent care. Being afraid of needles all my life the staff have been caring, patient and respectful. I find them pleasant to be around. I am happy to try and help those in need. You should really give it a try.
Very slow Never enough staff I'm usually there an average of 3 to 5 hours
Nice place. Packed on weekend. Some of the girls up front move slow. The lady Lisa was nice and was moving. She was funny and pleasant.
The staff here are professional and courteous, they try their best to make you as comfortable as possible. Ms. Andrea is wonderful and the team of Ciara and Ashley were great on my last donation.
Made sure I was comfortable, all the staff was nice. I will definitely be going back. They were also very understanding that it was my first time ever donating and talked me through the whole process while I was donating and checked if I was ok throughout.
Absolutely great experience. Staff are top tier Lisa. A and shay I hope I spelled her name right but aye man god tier device and help????
I've complained about the issue I was having there I even deleted my review figured I would give them a chance how ever I returned and had the same issue so I decided to go elsewhere and I had NO issues at all!! I will not be returning to CSL!!! Not I will recommend anyone to go there!!!
I am a New Donor at CSL Plasma, and I can honestly say it was a great experience with not only a new active/hobby I can enjoy and also help others which is best of all. I was also able to make an additional 10$ With the help of a lovely employee on top of the funds I was receiving already! I can't lie I walked in a little nervous but the staff was so nice and welcoming I had to choice or reason to be anything but comfortable! I can't wait to return back on Friday!
This was my first time ever donating blood, but the process went very smoothly, all of the staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Any questions I had (and I had a bunch) were answered completely. They are also not shy about letting you know about all of their promotions, so you also get the best deal available. It's a nice place and I will definitely recommend it!
Normally it's ok. Today I went for my second donation this week, where we should have received an extra $10 (posted on app AND promoted on the signs in location STATING that second donations for month of AUGUST pays an extra $10 on second donation. Only received $5, which is what it is normally.) So why even have that advertised if you're not going to honor it and instead point me to a poster of what it is normally? So be aware of that. Other than that friendly staff.
The wait was a bit for new donors. However the lady Lisa was great! Very friendly. Explained everything good. She def knows what she's doing.
They are totally awesome!
Staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and really took the time to explain the process. They were constantly cleaning and sterilizing putting me at ease with the current COVID condition. Look forward to future visits.
Place is packed. Didn't have the best person stick me, actually left a bruise however the lady up front Lisa is official. Friendly and fast.
Overall it was a good first experience all different people come and go and the energy from most of the staff is very positive. at times the line was a little slow but overall it wasn't too bad and there very attentive to patients in the back
I've been going to CSL plasma for years, and I'm thrilled that they opened a center locally. I started going in 1997, and have always found CSL to be professional, clean, and quick. I must say the staff at the new center are all very nice, especially Kira, who helped me get set up. First visit typically takes a few hours, after that you can be in an out in 90 minutes. Great bonuses, make sure you bring the coupons from the website for extra bonuses!
Pretty easy way for extra cash. Lisa and Claudia up front are the best techs. Nice n fast. Funny. Cool place.
From the moment I walked in the door as a first time donor, everyone went out of there way to be extremely informative about the whole process. I spoke to many of the staff throughout my journey that day and each and everyone of them were exceptionally pleasant and all had wonderful customer service skills. I would highly recommend the Allentown location of CSL plasma to anyone.
Ridiculous that not only do they not stay open later than 4 but they also will close their doors early and turn ppl away when they are technically supposed to be open until then but due to the revolving door of staff they can't keep most likely due to poor management they are never going to be able to which is a shame and the people who close the doors early knowing that we drove 35 minutes to get there with 15 minutes to close you guys are very rude.
Excellent experience all around!! The staff was great, the place was immaculate and the donating process was simple and easy!!
If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. Every worker there was extremely rude. This was the 3rd time I was there they made me leave because they said they weren't excepting new donors so I called this morning and told to come. They had already put me back in a chair to get started, I sat there for about 20 minutes before they realized they didn't do my BP or pulse which were both normal then then they did my hematocrit level which she said I was number over but in the meantime there I was the
Great staff, very patient and kind. Overall had a great experience and felt at home, really explained every part of the process and made me comfortable. Thank you.
I recommend this place to a few friends. Your first time donating do plan on being there for about three hours. It is lengthy but they do try their best to keep the process moving. The staff are friendly and outgoing. They come around and check on you while you're donating. Overall good experience.
It's a great facility with friendly members. My only complaint is that it is a little understaffed so the wait times can be quite long at times. Still though if you're in need of quick cash CSL isn't a bad option
The worst. My husband went today. Right there is working someone who is "security". He started yelling to my husband because he doesn't speak english. Discrimination right there in front our noses. Lawyers!!!
I enjoy donating at CSL. They're really clean there, they all work fast and efficient aswell and the entire staff is kind, polite, and funny they make the time while your donating fast and enjoyable. Also Miso makes sure he meets all those criteria and does his job really good. He's honest and quick an efficient worker. Anytime he's working on me he's in a positive mindset he pokes really good never hurts and there's never problem with the mechines.
If you're considering donating, just do it! I donated for the first time today. Overall the experience was 10/10. Every staff member was extremely nice, helpful and caring. It's a long process the first time, about 3 hours, but it's so worth it.
I donated for the first time last week and the staff at this location is amazing! Everyone was so kind and helpful which eased my nerves on this whole process. Everyone was in great spirit and attitude, great energy. Can't wait to go back!
I've been going to csl in hanover Ave in Allentown pa for a while now I have to say ur staff is very professional and caring especially a lady named Claudia Matos.. She's always there to help me with questions and answers..her smiles and caring is what makes this location a great one for anyone to donate ..I would recommend her for employee of the month..thx for all the hard work...
Lisa is the best employee you have. Everyone's pretty nice. Too much water to drink. Bring back the snacks.
My experience has been pretty good. Lisa is very professional. She is always on point.
This place is painfully slow. No respect for anyone's time. Also, Not the first time or 2nd time I've been skipped in line because certain people are friendly with the staff. It's absolutely ridiculous.
I haven't been here in a while. The new lady Lisa is the best. She is so helpful. Thank God for her.
Been coming here for a long time. Nice place. Lisa in reception is great. Very professional. Need better snacks.
They will find any reason to turn you away. Professional and friendly. But very strict. And very very very slow. Usually over 2 hrs to donate. Sometimes 3 or 4 hrs.
This place was my second time donating plasma and let me say, it was a great experience! The staff is SOOOO friendly, made me feel very comfortable. The location is super CLEAN. Britney ( the nurse that assisted me) answered all my questions and had amazing customer service skills. I would highly recommend this plasma location! COME SAVE A LIFE WITH US!!!
I had a very comfortable and pleasant first time donating plasma experience. All the staff is very friendly and professional and attentive. The phlebotomists were amazing and so friendly. I would definitely do it again. Amazing people work in the Allentown location. I definitely will recommend CSL Plasma to anyone that would like a pleasant donating experience.
Fast friendly.... atleast when I go I'm in and out in 30 minutes tops.. if you follow the instructions they give you it shouldn't be a problem unfortunately people don't follow the instructions and assume they'll get pass...... no short cuts ... they screen you.. each and every time you donate you agree to it in the rules you clicked yes to......... so far I've had a positive experience...
I always have a positive experience here. Staff is friendly positive and makes everything go quick and easy. Miso does an excellent job here. He's the best one!!
Lisa was very friendly and extremely helpful. She was very helpful showing me the step by step process on how everything goes.
Yesterday was my first time donating at the CSL Plasma site in Allentown, PA. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Each staff member explained the process with each step and answered any question I had. The whole experience was professional yet comfortable. They also made me feel as if I was really helping other people. I would recommend CSL Plasma to anyone interested.
Got to location early enough and lady at front was rude and talked to someone on the phone about a raffle with me standing there. She went into another phone conversation before I spoke up. She checked me in and asked me to wait. About 30 minutes after I walked in another gentleman came in and the lady at the front suddenly snapped to attention, it was like high school. He was also new yet was farther along in the process all along. The same girl who ignored me had him screened and enjoying a Gatorade while
The process was fast and easy. The facility is clean and welcoming. Staff is great especially Keith and Renee. I will definitely come back and refer people to come donate. Great people!!!
I was a little nervous but the staff made me very comfortable. They explained everything fully and made my experience very rewarding. I donated twice and I will be returning on a regular basis. Thank you
First impression: I've never donated before not even blood let alone plasma. But I heard of this place through a friend. The staff is friendly they'll tell you everything you need to know from eating a good meal before to the risks and how the procedure is done very professional. This is also good place to in case your tight on money. The first 5 times you get $65 for your donation and the rest is based on your own health. Overall my experience was great it took no more than an hour to get registered and an
I'm about to donate for my 2nd time. I came back so they're doing something right! Seriously though, CSL has very friendly staff from the front desk, to the medical staff, to the phlebotomists. This is not something to be taken lightly and the staff makes sure you are healthy enough, well hydrated, and you have eaten well before donating! So they look out for you which I appreciate! The only reason for 1 star off is the last 3 times I tried to donate they were closed (and it was within business hours) and t
Imagine it being a Saturday and you not wanting to do your job cuz a new donor will ?take too long? and lying despite there being noone here surprisingly on a Saturday. A women is pressed cuz I ?told on her? and then saying it out loud that I did so. maam let me come correct regardless where I was sitting they would?ve asked why I was sitting in that specific area?. Maybe if you don't like your job leave? It's a different story if there were a lot of people but there was no one this sat NO ONE ! ?? this is
I love this location and staff are great!! Love the energy, and leadership are so supportive during busy days. Everyone is patient, respectable and professional.
Staff in the front desk are very professional. Staffing on the donation floor are very unprofessional. All they do is stand around talk and dont attend to their patients right away. They take their sweet time and attend to you when they want to. I do not recommend this place. They need better staffing on the floor who values your time and donation. Very disappointed.
I'm happy I was able to find information out about this place. The people are nice and facility is clean. Unfortunately, I have an allergy to nickel and CSL use nickel needles in their venipuncture. I spoke with Biomat in Dickson city to ask them if they use nickel needles and they said no, all their needles are hypoallergenic, stainless steel. I was hoping to go to something closer to me. I can't risk an allergic reaction.
Staff was polite and very helpful with any questions I had. Was really busy in the early afternoon. First time takes a while but worth it.
The staff were extremely helpful and informative of the procedures. The facility was very clean and covid precautions made me feel very comfortable. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and am excited to continue selling plasma at this location.
CSL plasma is a great place to donate to people who need Plasma. I have been to one other plasma facility in the Lehigh Valley and CSL plasma is by far the best, most efficient, clean facility and the wait to donate is not as long as other plasma facilities. I love how all of the phlebotomists know all of the patients that come in and they joke with them and are always watching all of the patients on the machines to make sure everything is going okay. From the front desk at check-in to the mini medical ex
Ok so some older women who work here are a bit racist I was there this morning 2 people of Spanish decent didn't have there donor numbers to login which ment they needed to see the front desk while at the front desk I had a small confrontation with a black women who was friends with them and she said they could get back in line we're they were instead of the back of the line which is normal protocol for anything that makes someone get out of line at which point I made a comment of that's not fair or right t
While I chose CLS due to the proximity to my home, it turned out to be a great experience for my first time donating plasma. The staff was very detailed through the registration process, going as far to let you know what your vitals are as well as the ranges they should fall under. They consistently covered all my questions before I even had to ask since they're so thorough! The center was very clean and organized. Ashley, my phlebotomist was incredibly friendly, professional, and gentle through the plasma
Everyone is so pleasant. Lisa did a great job explaining everything to me. She is super.
The wait here is ridiculous. 3 hours to just get seated! All the staff just chit-chats while you're waiting in this long line. I'm so over this location. Sometimes they just turn away donors at 4pm because they don't want you here. CSL needs to open another location near here.
CSL Allentown has some of the friendliest folks I've seen at a facility. And I mean ANY facility. They take great care to make sure you understand the full process. Even me, someone who used to donate years ago and pretty much knew what was going on. Just don't forget to take 2 forms of ID. Right, Keith?
If I could give zero stars I would. I called in the morning around 9 am and asked if it was the allentown CSL. They said it was. Then I asked if it was open (google says on Monday they are closed but on the CSL app website for the allentown one it says they are open Monday) and they said it was open and they stop accepting new donations at 4 pm. I drove all the way there (this was around 1 pm) and there were 3 workers sitting outside talking. They told me it was closed. After I had already called to confir
Process is quick and painless, the staff is nice and always friendly and willing to help when they can. The bonuses they give are great. Definitely recommend coming here.
They do a good job here. The lady Lisa is a great multi tasker. She tries to help everyone.
Went online and saw that you can earn up to 1000 dollars. Show up and sign on door says earn up to 650 dollars. I asked the young lady at the desk and she said since they're a newer office, they only offer 650 which makes no sense. They're liars pulling the bait and switch, or they're just taking advantage of low income areas. Very shady. I'm gonna bring this scam to the attention of the state. Thanks for wasting my time!
Don't even waste your time if your blood pressure is 2 points over they won't take you back and if you explain to them that you won't be able to make it home they don't care so I advise you if you live away from this place don't waste your time
I had a great first experience today. Everyone was kind and helpful. Everything is spotless. Miso and Mario are wonderful souls that shared great thought and encouragement.
I was there on the 9th of December and the female who tried taking plasma kept jamming the needle in and out of my arm and she had a attitude and was really disrespectful to me for no reason she said there's no reason to get frustrated LOOK AT MY ARM!!! I SHOULD PRESS CHARGES FOR THIS HOW CAN YOU LET SOMEONE LIKE THAT WORK HERE SHE PULLED THE NEEDLE IN AND OUT OF MY ARM OVER 10 TIMES SHE SHOULD BE FIRED BECAUSE OF WHAT SHE DID TO MY ARM I'M REPORTING THIS
Good place , great staff. Lisa and the other ladies in vitals are very nice and friendly. Also the people on the donor floor
This place is a joke. Yes you do get money but what they won't tell you is that if your a new donor yes you get $100 for your first donation but you don't get another hundred dollars on your donation if you show up a month later. It makes you wonder why they message people to come back and even donate!
Today was my first time donating plasma and the staff here made my experience excellent! Definitely will be returning :) Very clean environment and all of the employees were so friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely know how to make their donors feel welcome. Please go here and donate!
Horrible. My first visit and donation they messed up and the needle wasn't fully in. So I start bleeding everywhere and my donation is over. They wrap my arm and tell me I'm deferred for 60 days because there policy says that if a donation doesn't go right it's automatic deferral no matter the circumstances. I go back to today and I'm told I'm not eligible for the new donor incentive so basically I just got stab bleed all over the place and got no compensation for my troubles! Beware the place looked dirty
My first donation with CSL Plasma was a great experience. The staff is truly wonderful they made me feel very comfortable and made the process go smoothly. I hope that by me donating my Plasma I'm able to help someone. I cant wait to go back for my 2nd donation.
The staff is very friendly and professional. The donation part took me about 45mins. Make sure you drink plenty of water before. I am grateful that the staff is so thorough, because about 2 months ago I decided to stop taking my medication. They had me go to my pcp to get the ok, and with the bloodwork I found out that I do not need to take my medication anymore. I would not know this if they weren't so thorough. Thank you
Sister Lisa, The Receptionist Is An Angel and Very Understanding With Me.. Is Very Helpful With Explaining The Results.. Continue The Good Work and God Bless Her and Her Loving Family.. Amen
The staff are very friendly and talk you through every step of the process to ensure I felt comfortable and understood exactly what was going on and if I was comfortable. Will definitely keep coming back!
Very friendly staff, Lisa process things nice and fast and made me feel comfortable for 1st time donating
Just a heads up, it's not listed anywhere except in the building, so I'd hate for people to drive far just to find this out: New donors aren't taken in after 1pm right now. I'll change this review if that ever changes. Otherwise, glad this is an option for some people
Weird restrictions. Makes it hard to get approved. Security guard was nice and helpful. They appear understaffed and things do not run smoothly.
This donation center was very effective and essential to helping me be a part of live saving mechanisms they are very polite and make sure health and safety is first I welcome if your available and able to be part of a well organized and life saving program to please go and donate plasma at the CSL LOCATION IN ALLENTOWN PENNSYLVANIA ON HANOVER AVE
I donated the first time at the Allentown center today. The staff was very professional and friendly. They take the time to explain everything they are doing, making you very relaxed and confident during your donation. Excellent center to visit.
Cool place, nth but love and good vibes from employees(select few!). I keep going back because of them, and the cause behind donating.
I've only been coming her for about two weeks and the people here are pleasant and caring and very professional, they care for and thank their donors.
Went in to donate for the first time and then they said I couldnt donate because they thought I was lying about where I live. They questioned me because I couldnt spell my street address outloud & had to write it first. so since they thought I was lying now i have to bring in proof from a bill with my name on it because now my license with all my information isnt enough? that doesn't make any sense. waste of time and gas. it literally says it on my license yall extra.
I am a new donor at CSL plasma and my first experience there was amazing. The staff is super friendly and very helpful and made me feel very welcomed during my donation process. I highly recommend if anyone wants to donate plasma, to go to CSL plasma. I look forward to going back and donating again.
My visit was very quick, easy and efficient, thanks to Ashley she made me very comfortable and made me feel very safe and to all the otherwonderful medical assistants also for providing an environment of safety and professionalism.
Honestly I been here about 7 times and still yet to go through the full process and giving a full donation due to the lazy people at the front counter they would sit there and watch the phones ring instead of picking it up and I feel like they give a million excuses of why their not taken new donors hints why all the clients are now going to elsewhere you guys need to get it together there literally no reason what so ever your not open on Monday COVID is basically done ?? you guys are the worst
My favorite donation center that I have visited yet! Staff is fantastic, process is quick and easy, and the center is clean. One might even say that CSL?s donation chairs are the comfiest out there. Highly recommend this venue for all your plasma donation endeavors.
These people don't know what the eff they doing..... At times they will even play with the needle in the arm......I went about 4 times cause of the need other than that never again!!
A little bit of a wait. Very pleasant staff. Lisa was excellent And very helpful. Easy decision.
Unable to maintain adequate staffing & every weeks it takes longer & longer to donate. They recently changed compensation to make you come in 2x per week. Won't be returning.
All the staffs make you feel so comfortable and at home they all have the best most wonderful personalities so alive like the process is a bit long but worth it they treat you like a friend more than a stranger I love it here for my first experience they are also very clean once their finished with someone they disinfectant all the surfaces right away
Was very pleased with the service I received! Staff was great and made sure i was comfortable and understood everything! I will definitely be returning and telling others about it!
This was my first donation. The registration process was easy. The staff and nurses were very courteous and helpful. The location is convenient and the facility is well lit & clean..
the staff is really kind and the facility is very clean , I have nothing bad to say about my experience here . I will be coming here for as long as I can and it is recommended to everyone who can donate to donate
This facility was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. What impressed me the most was, the safety measures they took with everyone and themselves to prevent any covid spread.
Every time I come to the center of the girls are always friendly and happy. very professional. it doesn't hurt and it seems like every time I go they just get quicker and quicker
My husband and I visited CSL Plasma for the first time this morning and had a wonderful experience. Every staff member was extremely kind and helpful. We look forward to becoming loyal donors! I would highly recommend CSL Plasma!!!
Lunch time is a bad time to come, however the lady Lisa being doing het thing. Efficient. Not just talking.
All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful it made my whole experience in joy able they made sure to explain everything they were doing I will definitely be coming back
Great service overall . On my first visit they treated me excellent . They make sure to look out for you and your health over anything . Which is 100% appropriated .
Visited CSL Plasma on Sunday for my first donation. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and answered all of my questions. During the physical donation there was plenty of staff around to make sure the process was going well. I look forward to more donations in the future.
I have feeling so welcome and appreciated by all the staff. Also the place is very clean, what Is very important. I loved the place the people and good wage ..
First time ever donating at CSL plasma & I was very happy with how the staff received me. They made sure I was comfortable & safe. Will definitely be coming back to donate again & telling others about it!
The staff here is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Overall a good experience, for a good cause & benefits me as well. Win win for all ?????????
If you're going to donate, this is the place , everyone, is kind, caring and very respectful, the process for new donors does take time, that overall respect they serve out makes it all worth while. I recommend this place to anyone who is willing to donate and wants to contribute into saving lives
Yesterday was my first time donating plasma. The staff at CSL in Allentown was wonderful. Everything was thoroughly explained, and the process was easy. I'll definitely be making routine donations in the future.
Lisa & Aritzia are so helpful and definitely made the process move by as quickly as possible! Very informative and empathic !
As a first time donor at this location, every staff member made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I had a weird situation while transferring to this location, but throughout the whole process they kept me informed about what was going on.
I had a great first time experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The place is clean and modern.
I had an amazing experience at this facility. The staff was polite and welcoming. They where very cleaned and organized. I will be returning.
So today I donate and I've been donating here for a while and I love the staff they're very professional and friendly I had a problem with my donation today Simone and miso we're very professional and knew how to do their job I could not get the needle to work in my arm and they had to restick me they did it with very little discomfort and very professional and they know what they were doing and I would like to thank them for their help and everything they did for me today thank you and thank you for your p
I transferred from Yeadon, PA to here. Positive: short lines, helpful & friendly staff. Bad news: I guess new donors still get $100 but it's still my 8th donation in and only a $50 payout. Pay is based by location so back to Philly I guess
First time patient waited 2 hours just to get screened. Also the times were all wrong said it opened at 9am but really opened at 7am. Short staffed, was there from 10:25am-2:20pm
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Very upbeat environment! Good place to help others and make a little side hustle cash.
Good luck donating here they didn't want to take me in because I had brouses both arms and i donated my left arm last time it was amazing but they messed up the needle part. In my arm and now I gotta wait ?? ??
I am a new donor I have gone to 2 other plasma center in my area and the exsperiance was horrible. At CSL plasma the people are really down to earth and so very nice they explain everything they do.When I go on donor floor such a warm welcome the people who poke me with rhst big needle not feel it at all really great people and such a warm welcoming g place .I have told many friends to go to CSL they will love it there just as I do .Thank you CSL for opening in our area and making it worth coming there thank
I had my first donation and it went smoothly and fast. I got informed on everything that was happening. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
If it's your first time your going to be there about 5 hours, you will be ignored and given an attitude it's very degrading and embarrassing I walked out
So I enjoyed my time at csl ! Andrea especially was very polite and professional! Definitely my favorite today!
After having a bad experience donating plasma at another facility, i was apprehensive of donating again. I decided to come here and had a great experience. Everything was clean and professional. Ashley was exceptionally wonderful and i will only be coming here to donate again.
Be PREPARED FOR LONG WAIT TIMES!!! everytime I come here I wait over 1hr and 30 mins. They are severely understaffed and unprofessional when it comes to wait times. Need to hire more people.
Everyone is always very kind and helpful. The process always goes smoothly no matter how busy they are
Christy is the best CSL has to offer her attitude and personality is just beyond on point I recommend you guys give her a raise she deserves it ??
Extremely friendly staff! Made the experience pretty painless for my first time donating, I will be going back for sure!
It's a very good place to make money on the side. One of the workers named Lisa was ver kind and not ce to talk to
It was a great experience, everyone was super friendly and helpful and just the thought of helping someone other person and yourself getting rewarded for it is a awesome feeling!!
This place is ridiculous. They get you all set up to go then tell you you can't donate over something that you have already told them Don't come here and waste your time
Lisa is the best person here. she is very helpful. Everything is great here
Waited 90 minutes while workers are scrolling on their phone. Not transparent on any level, if you value your time I wouldn't come here.
The staff is all friendly and completely professional. They have an app that tracks everything and makes it super easy to sign in. Highly recommend going here to donate!
New manager there don't listen or know what he's doing. You will just end up wasting your time going there!
Had an terrible experience. Phlebotomist were inexperienced and stuck me multiple times and blamed me when they couldn't get a full return then they then permanently deferred me after I was told I had a 56 day deferral they are the worst definitely go to another plasma center
All very friendly and helpful. Long line though. Girl at front Lisa was a big help
Great Staff, very friendly. Leeann stuck me and did a really good job. Highly recommend.
Great experience every time I donate, Lisa is always polite and very helpful.
First time here its convenient closest to home. The staff are nice and friendly. Ill be back again to donate soon. Thank you
donated at CSL plasma & I was very happy with how the staff received me. They made sure I was comfortable & safe. Will definitely be coming back to donate again & telling others about it!
My wife and I just came from our first visit, all staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
