Customer Reviews

The staff and service are Elite, the best place to give plasma! It was my first time ever and the first impression was absolutely awesome from the time I walked in and got started until about two hours later when I finished! Highly recommend this business! Thank you Octapharma!

Great Customer service, very understanding when explaining the process and making sure receive the important facts about what is and what is not to be done. Didn't have to wait in long line . It was clean environment and non gloomy . Felt very comfortable through it all . Thankful for a job well done among each employee/staff who assisted me step by step.

There new facility on S. Georgetown St. In Wichita is really clean, set up in an easy flow manner. Their new machines are fast, staff is professional. Only complaint, their payments are lower than others in the area but competitive. Overall, if you're going to donate, this is the place to do it.

Time, life and opportunity gives me no better pleasure than writing this review for Octapharma Plasma facility. On entry I was pleased with the cleanliness and design. The staff are very professional and polite, aiming for each donor to have an awesome experience. They're not understaffed, which allows you to be done quicker ~ it's up to each donor to be well hydrated. I give Octapharma an A+ ?????????? Thank you

I like that we get rewarded for helping advance studies and make medicine, if paid blood donations were a thing I'd be down... But when I looked octapaharma had the better promotion for new members so here I am for my 4th donation

Clean facility. Friendly and especially Jackie, Dolly and Thomas. Always informative and care about you as a person. They are quick and efficient. Get you on the first stick. Oh and don't let me forget Bianca. They are happy and witty. Feels like I am coming to a friends home.

Love the new location. You guys sure have upgraded from the last time I donated doing a great job customer service wonderful always seem to be nice even when they're having a bad day. Thank you for making me feel so welcomed

Great atmosphere, professional staff, clean facilities, and for the most part the screening and donation part is pretty decent on time 45-1 1/2 from start to finish. Now sometimes it's more or less depending on the amount of staff and the amount of donors. But other than that great place to donate 100% would recommend and refer if I had anyone to refer.

I'm always satisfied with the experience I receive. The Staff is great they make you feel at home. Very friendly and have never had a problem.

Absolutely all the staff are very friendly, they have a lot of patience and are very well prepared. Excellent work team. The new building is much prettier than the previous one. Excellent change.

Three nurses told me they thought my veins were to small, and were afraid to try. I did some push-ups and insisted that it would pump up my veins. The fourth lady hit the vein like a pro, with no discomfort. I wish I remembered her name, bc I'm only donating when she works.

Great service. Friendly and professional staff. I had low protein level during vitals and was deferred . I took the retake blood test yesterday and im hoping the results arrive soon. Best in Wichita.

I absolutely love this place I have donated at a couple centers over the years and I have to say this place is hands down the best not only is it the fastest place, it's very clean as well.I hardly ever spend more than an hour there and their staff is also always so amazing this is the only clinic where I know all the workers name's .I'm greeted by my name when I come in I'm always treated well and talked to never ignored or feel unimportant no matter how many people are there. They are very personable as w

The staff at Octapharma Plasma are very fast and professional! The only complaint I have that prevents me from giving 5 stars is the Octapharma app. It routinely will not allow me to login to complete the pre-donation questionnaire.

They are fast and friendly and they always joke around to keep you occupied when not busy to make time fly by faster

Stafford great experience was overall decent pay is worse in town as far as I know!!

It wasn't good at all, I hadn't been for approximately 2 years and they wouldn't let me donate because my protein was down almost 2 years ago. I could only leave a sample and hear back at the end of the week. Not happy at all. The guy at the desk was almost no help

Only place I feel comfortable at both locations great job process is easy

Horrible customer service!!! Every time I go donate the plasma taken is always different If machine needs assistance workers just look and walk away unless machine stays beeping non stop there is only 1 worker on the floor who has great customer service the rest SUCK!!! Yes hillside location

Love the personal love the new place they are always so nice to me 200% satisfied thank you everyone see u tomorrow

I wasn't happy I was a new member and they said I couldn't give blood because I had surgery on my hand in March of this year I had no problems giving blood other place I need money so I decided to come back to you guys and I couldn't give blood please let me come back to give blood thanks form Mary chipman

Bad day watch out for the young girls. The first time she stuck me very bad. Arm swollen and blood everywhere. Then she wanted to put it in the other arm. Good luck.

I love the staff. And love the timing of the whole process.keep up the good work guys

Very friendly very professional very clean facility staff member treated me with respect and it was a very fast process

Always have a good experience when I go there. I have been to other places, and hands down. This has the best phlebotomist and nicest people all the way through. It will not be going to any other place. Thank you.

Sat there for an hour, did all the stupid questions, watched the stupid videos and then was told I couldn't donate because of a medication I'm on that was NOT listed, that I was on last time I donated and no one said anything then.

Very nice and friendly environment would recommend to anyone interested in

I was stuck and probed and stuck and probed never had that before also your pay is on par with 1995 actually y?all paid better then hope the ceos enjoy their yachts ??

They are really fast and from the other places I've been they have really good phlebotomists? never had an issue during a stick like I have before!

Visited today to learn about donating plasma at Octapharma. Was told I would be deferred for a period of four months because I donated platelets recently at the Red Cross.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. They made the process so easy. Alice was great while working with me! I will be recommending OctaPharma to my family and friends.

My first time visiting went well just nice how my Yukon has a nice scratch in the door and a dent be careful we're u part

Staff are nice and give me free drink when I finish.

Had a bad reaction to donating and one of the females there acted rude and kept saying snarky comments after I explained my donating history.

They were so professional and nice.

Super friendly service staff is great I love it!

Mostly a a great place to donate friendly professional newer machines they tell you the percentage tell you're done the one bad thing about this place they are the lowest paying facility in town so if you're just doing it for the medication that they make great place if you need it for the money go somewhere else

No drama, sweet personal. Very informative. I felt safe there.

Nice people, They take good care of you

I like all the staff. They are very good at what they do. Good pay.

I really like how they take care of you when donating the only problem with that place of octapharma is the bathroom stinks is not always clean make sure you use the bathroom before you go there but besides that I would give it five stars

Very awesome experience,friendly staff.??

Try to call and ask if I can donate as a type 1 diabetic and they say ?oh we don't know for sure unless you come in and speak with a provider? so I go in, sit through an hour long videos - answer 50 questions just to be told after the questions, nope. We have to put you on the national deferral list because you can't donate as a type 1 diabetic. WHY is it so difficult to have a list of diseases that would be an immediate no online or just tell people that when they call. Waste of my and their/your time. And

Great Staff Very nice an great customer service! Easy money ?? ?? "Drink plenty of water an eat a turkey sandwich ?? the day of donating an don't eat anything greasy the day before. So you'll have a fast donation!

Staff is friendly and quick.

Horrible experience. Only one person available to help and lines were long and when I finally got through with my first visit i told me I couldn't donate due to a surgery i had years ago, which doesn't make any sense. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Spent more time talking to each other then actually helping people

Elly is amazing and wonderful. All staff great .

Great place to both help people that has financial problems and for people that needs plasma for surgeries.

The staff is friendly, and have a great rapport with regulars. They keep their rates competitive, and keep extending their hours to try to fit more donors schedules.

Definitely recommending my friends & family! The staff is always nice & smiling & very helpful. Great experience overall.

It was a great experience. All of the staff are professional, friendly and put you at ease.

Exceptionally friendly and professional staff who make it a calm atmosphere. This is an excellent place to donate, I have not had one single problem with this place at all. If I had anyone to recommend to this donation place I would. The expectation to get in and out quickly you will most likely spend a minimum of 1 1/2-2 hours plus from the time you walk inside to the time you leave after your donation. I mean it does not matter what time I come in the wait time is the same unless your there right when the

They were very nice and they didn't bruise me at all

My first time ever donating plasma with Octapharma Plasma. They were informative, compassionate and well trained. The experience all in all is fast and clean. I would highly recommend Octapharma for anyone who wants an easy and painless experience.

Used to be a lot better. Now if your blood pressure is just a little high they deny you. Plus it's went down hill. Now Freedom plasma is wonderful. First 6 times you go there it's a 100 bucks each time. Can't beat that. Staff are friendly and greet you with a smile. Octapharma needs to be done and let some other company with new values come. You suck octapharma. Never will I again. I Wasted gas twice on you guys. Not gonna pay that back are you?.

The staff is amazing ?? they were fast friendly and efficient

Octapharma is ks my favorite plasma donation center by far. And one of the top rewarding donation centers I know of. I highly recommend this if your needing some quick cash and on top of that, you'll be saving someone's life.

Wasn't a terrible experience, definitely seeing more potential with some of the doctors. But I believe certain practices need to be taught throughout the building to avoid any possible hazards E.g. : wrist location and needle sticking how far the needle should/shouldn't go.

Worst experience ever, no parking, and the whole staff had the worst attitude. Especially the the older later with the bob dyed blond. You should be nicer when other centers pay more for new donors. So have fun wasting your time on my one bottle you can't use!

I have been going here for years and will not go anywhere else. I have come to know the staff by their name and they know me as well. I have even become friends with some. The facility always looks clean and their pay rates are great. They always seem to be looking for ways to improve the process. The online check in process is so fast and easy. Donating helps others and also puts some extra cash in your pocket. It is a win-win!

The process was pretty straightforward. If you are a first time donor and the facility is busy you may want to plan ahead 2.5-3 hours. If they are slow then about 2 hours. I've never been a fan of needles but each time I go it seems to get easier. You need to make sure you drink plenty of fluids the day before and the day of donating and there after. If you are well hydrated it also streamlines the donation process and the machine works much quicker by collecting your plasma. You also want to make sure y

My experience donating with octapharma is great. They have good, genuine, and caring people working for them. And it's not like some of the other places where you might have to book an appointment or get treated rudely or wait 30 to 45 minutes before you get your payment. At octapharma you get your payment as soon as you leave the bed you were in. I guess all in all they pretty much treat you like family and I would surely invite friends and family to stop by and check it out so they can have the same exper

You guys are phony my roomate had her arm bruised so bad by your staff it has been black n blue for over two weeks. Then you lie and write on.her review she left yous that you tried calliing her she has been in alot of pain no one even cared its a shame .

Thomas has a great personality. Alice justice and bianca are great with a needle, also have wonderful personality

Friendly and professional staff and clean environment

Fun and loving every time i go in. And i feel comfortablel there. Environmentaly not bad.The nurses are friendly and gets the process going fast. Goodjob to all tge nurses??

Great place to go. The staff are friendly and helpful. Only 3 star's because they are getting even worse with the wait times. I've had to walkout the last 2 visits due to taking well over an hour just to get screened in. With only 3 people in line. Then another 45 min to get called to the back. But not

These 5 stars are 100% for the phlebotomist named Sage. The last three times that I've gone, I couldn't remember her name and tried describing to everyone what she looked like just so I could get her again. She made that good of an impression! Today she was finally there again and did amazing as ever! Everyone was requesting her. I seriously think that a raise needs to be in her near future. Outstanding and genuine worker.

Staff is great.. my issue is with men using the women's restroom! I opened the door because it wasn't locked, there's a man standing there. Another time, the seat was left up and telltale liquid spots in front of the bowl. This has been an ongoing issue for too long! The restrooms are clearly marked. Women aren't jumping into the men's room.. they need to stay out of our's!!! Update: as of 07/09/2023, the men in the women's restroom had not been rectified. The seat's being left up with urine dribbles on

My first experience was great the staff was helpful and friendly. The second time was kinda ruff I don't know if the needle wasn't inserted wrong or what but the flow kept stopping and I was dehydrated. But I am hoping to return.

Pleasantly surprised. My experience was fantastic . The staff was all well prepared and made the process easy. My nurse, Jessica, was exceptional. She put me at ease as a first time donor and answered all my questions.

I give this ///////&5-8review a HALF a star. I've donated with Octapharma for over 10+ years, off & on. Since 2012, the Wichita, Kansas location on 9th Street has gone drastically down hill. I failed my protein sample after my 1st donation back. Waited OVER 365 days, went back & STILL had to give a separate sample that takes ANOTHER 7-10 days to come back BEFORE I can even donate again. As I'm giving the s7;33ample, the phlebotomist who stuck me only got 1 vile of blood & as she's pulling the bottle out, AL

I find this place clean and the people are nice and fast. I get in and I get out with little waiting. Never had a problem coming here. It's a 5 star in my book.

The staff is very friendly, and knowledgable. My first time in was quick and painless, and I have been back again since! ??

This place is a joke!! They stuck me 4 times and it keep clotting. After the 4th time they said they couldn't get it to go, so they said we have to defer you for 62 days. So I get punished because they couldn't do their job and then they drop my money way down. That is complete crap!! Was not even my fault!! The management here is horrible!! I will not be back!!

It was my first time n it's a cool experience js not that coldness at the end, I'll get used to it tho

Only reason for a three is because every time I come in I see the same chick never sanitize her hands. Today I watched and counted her stick 8 people without changing her gloves a single time. She's always so negative and always complaining. Also the bathrooms are never cleaned. Other than these problems the other workers are very good, cleanly and fast paced.

Upon arriving I realized this place didn't appear very professional, packed with loud and rowdy people waiting. Besides all of the staff seemingly too young to work there, they weren't organized at all and seemed to be just hanging out not to mention a few of these young girls were very rude. The whole experience made me feel uncomfortable and unsanitary.

My first experience here was great, but unfortunately that's the only experience I can say anything good about. My second visit I had 4 different phlebotomists messing with me and one of them blew my vein out and they had me switch arms half way through. I was bruised for a week and a half and could not return until this week. All 3 times I have gone (during business hours) the door is locked. Considering it's a 20 minute drive to get here I don't appreciate showing up to have to turn around and go home. I?

I just want to say some of these poor reviews are mess up because I have had nothing but a good experience there with all the staff members. They know me by name and I have favorites but people got to understand these people work long hours and some times are understaffed. If you have issues waiting then maybe it's not the place for you it's not speed in speed out. I think they all do a fabulous job and should be paid more. You their to help save lives so if waiting a little while is what you have to do th

I genuinely hate coming to this place, the staff has no sense of urgency, the customer service is always the worst, which you just come to expect, but of course the reason I come back is for a little extra cash. Who can't use a little extra? I work 2 jobs, and still find myself from time to time needing a lil extra change. It's a great feeling to know that establishments like this exist, but just be prepared for a negative experience, doesn't matter how respectful you are, the staff flex the little power th

I really think it depends on the day you go. I went one day and the staff wandered around and ignored people even if they tried to ask a question. BUT I went today and had a pleasant experience. Dari and I think her name is Channing, both these employees were very polite and helpful. Also the female employee who "hooked me up" to the machine was very enjoyable to be around. So like I said I REALLY think it depends on the day you go. The last day I went employees were downright rude!

Octapharma on Hillside is the most personable donating facility In Wichita. Staff members are real life people who take their job seriously.

I went in to have a couple of samples taken. It's an Easy way to make a few extra dollars a week for about 2 hour of your time***The center is easy to find an has nice staff. They do a good job of keeping donation area clean and sanitized.

My coworkers are honestly the best. Even working in the plasma industry for 15 years, I was afraid to donate at first. They made sure I was comfortable and attentive to making sure my donation was great. It's because of you that makes our center one of best. Go 501!

Enjoyable compared to other centers. Would definitely choose over the other main one here. There is only one employee who seems to be a problem, he hit on my wife when she donated last, and has a very creepy and off putting way about him. His name was Thomas

As a woman I felt completely unsafe here. I don't usually judge a book by its cover, but I felt really unsafe being around some of the other donors. Plus parking is a bit away from the building so walking alone is a no go for me.

The staff is wonderful and friendly. I usually don't have to wait long either, even at their busiest times. The bonuses they give are motivation to come here. I recommend this place to everyone!

Thank you for everything you do keep up the good work. Highly recommend and trusted donating center!

Lately, most of my experiences haven't been bad. There are times that it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get through screening and get called back to the donation area. I don't blame the employees (although they could probably be a little faster, they have no sense of urgency, because they aren't the ones waiting in line for almost an hour). I do however blame the company, for the amount of money you make off the plasma, I'm sure you could pay better and get more people to work for you.

Friendly service and very professional!

Had a really good experience donating for my first time! Staff made me feel super relaxed welcome. The Nurse Mr. Thomas was fantastic and made sure i was comfortable as can be. He made my experience the best as it could be.

I like this place but if your having probs with ur donation they will ignore u and leave sitting there for a long time a donation usually takes 45 min I've been in there for 1hr 45 min to almost three hours before

My visits usually go smooth. I been donating for over a year. Ladies up front and on the floor treat you well and are good workers. So for that reason I'll continue to donate there. ?? have a nice day (I hope I win)

Great plasma center, WAY better than CSL. Staff is trained very well and i never even bruise. They pay better too, i was making $50/donation at CSL and here im getting about $65-$100/donation. Staff is kind and friendly, their equipment seems like its in better condition too. Staff changes gloves (also unlike CSL) and usually the donation process is quicker. I will definitely keep going here

They are always rude and don't treat people like people I would go to the one on hillside p

I friggin LOVE the staff here! Especially Bianca and Arielle! These two ladies are just fantastic. I always try to make sure that one of these two chicks are working when it's time for me to come in and donate. I'm so happy, grateful and excited to actually get to be a part of the Anti-D or Denovo group. I actually won a $25 gift card this morning and honestly I never win anything so it was really exciting to have that happen to me. Honestly everyone here is pretty awesome, the only drawback is the small pe

I've been going a year, after a year. I kept getting deferred, I came back after 2 months. 2 girls that were there, were the only ones there. I definitely didn't want Katie, the other girl I believe her name was Dalynn (Some oriental girl) Bad experience, I'm never going back, Not worth the money. These people need to be trained before they poke a needle in somebodies vein. Sorry, Not sorry!!

Love the works. They make you feel like family. Thank you ?? ???? ??

Every time I go donate my experiences are different. To the staff that I know and have dealt with for many years I greatly appreciate your time and effort. I know you ladies go through a lot, and my guy friends up there much respect. Tam great job for turning octapharma into a great facility.

I've been coming here for 3 years. Staff is friendly and efficient. Not the cleanest place I've set foot in, but if you look past that and show a little patience, your visit will be enjoyable and more often than not, entertaining!

Been trying to speak with the ?doctor? since Monday it's now Thursday every day I've called I was told ?the doctor will be in at 3 tomorrow? I call at 305 and get told the doctor will be in tomorrow. I just want you to sign the damn paper you got Monday with my test results. I can't even donate at another center til this ?doctor? signs the damn paper.

Staff are friendly, however are very slow and take their time. The wait times here are horrendous to say the least. After i finish this month donating i shall be returning to CSL. Pro: Staff are nice and dont really pester you. Con: The overall experience is very slow.

They are very loving and caring and they treat you like family and they have respect for everyone that comes in

The only reason for 3 stars and not 5, the bathroom is ALWAYS gross. I understand they can't go in every 5 min and clean, but I came in at 7 am...first person... It was dirty. You'd think with covid they'd make a better attempt... As far as the center... Clean, friendly staff and love the Octapass. Saves so much time.

Terrible customer service. They never speak to you when you come in or even when you go to the rooms to check in. You get greeted by other donors before the staff even acknowledges you. The wait is unnecessarily long because the staff likes to sit around and talk and giggle. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having fun at work, but when you have 11 people waiting just to be called to the donor floor and 15 people waiting in line to check in (I'm not exaggerating?I counted) and it's past closing

Most of the staff is unfriendly. Rarely smiles and seems overwhelmed. They don't wait for the iodine to dry causing discomfort and pain.

Nice, clean place but a little slow, wait times to get hooked up could use some improvement and staff could be a little less involved with each other and little more involved with donors while getting them set up. I will also say they need a better kiosk system, it is very slow and takes forever just to sign in.

Extra money is great. But it's under staffed some of the workers aren't trained very well at sticking you. The bathrooms aren't great they smell and look gross. I usually finish donating in 30 minutes but I wait almost 2 hours just to get back there which is why I stop going. Should proably hire on more people. Cause eventually only junkies will wait 3 hour's for 20 dollars

Staff is always having side conversations and laughing with each other and you got all kinds of people with errors popping up saying no flow and other things and they walk around like turtles and they dont listen to anything you say except when they ask you their mandatory questions. My last few experiences were awful. They adjusted the needle in my arm twice after i told them the first time that the new employee had stuck the needle in too far and then did a re stick in a different veign in the same arm wh

Used to donate here frequently and enjoyed it, but now since I moved into an apartment only a few days ago they say that a lease is "not a proof of address" even recognizing that landlords sometimes have to hand write in information (which in my case my landlord had to hand write in the address as I'm her very first tenant in an renter to owner relationship with her). Didn't even make an attempt to verify that it was an actual lease and a staff member told me to "mail to myself". Never showing up again I ha

When I gave blood with you guys you guys lefted bruises on my arm and I'm not happy about it I think you guys should give me extra 100 on my card I'm so mad about this I want everyone to k own what you did to my arm it has been over two weeks and my arm still black and bruised and yellow and you guys said you won't do anything for me I want extra 100 on my card for what you guys did to my arm I can't even sleep on that arm because of it

today they lost a donor because they humiliated me saying my dress does not meet their policy on clothing. they were so unwelcoming and rude, csl plasma pays more anyways

Always greeted well n professional screening n friendly environment. Donating always feel comfortable n safe with employees always on task. Thanks octapharme

Manager is very unpleasant to work with. His body language is telling you that he doesn't give a f... that you are there or not. His staff is untrained to help with any problem you might have. This sad the other place in town pays more and there service suckes. The only reason I went here is I got better service.

I do not recommend the Hillside location. It is not a great location. It is dirty, rundown and the staff were less than friendly or professional. This is extremely different at the central location. Clean, modern, friendly and overall such a better experience.

Last time I went the process was fast and easy. When I fainted while giving plasma the staff was quick to help me and did everything they could to keep me safe. Despite me now being a donation hazard they they were polite and respectful to me if I could I'd definitely return.

The staff is friendly and very good at their jobs can be a little slow getting to the different steps but always a good experience down load the app and can get done so much fast

CSL pays more and they treat you better. The workers here are hardworking, but extremely understaffed which I can see their morale decrease by tenfold. They must not get paid a lot to deal with everything they have to deal with in a day. I have dealt with the managers as well about money getting onto my card. I believe there are 2 lady managers that were just plain horrible in dealing with and it seems like they didn't care about their employees compared to the male counterparts which are extremely nice and

I didn't have any complaints. I noticed they did some renovation within the last 6 months. I would like to see what renovations was done to the bathroom.

Yeah there's usually a line, yeah it takes a while for the whole process, yeah sometimes it feels like they are understaffed... but we're doing this for the bit of a payday we get, and to help sick people and save lives. The staff is always very friendly, but they are direct and straight to the point. You sass them, they're gonna sass you back. Often times I see my fellow donaters being the ones that are rude or out of line.

Drove a hr to donate plasma and called ahead of time and was told told yeah I could come in as a walk in well at 615 I was turned away because they close at 7

The employees at Octapharma are knowledgeable and personable. They do everything right, while still trying to get you in and out of there as quickly as possible. Their updated donor fees (compensation rates) make it worth it for someone like me to drive in from out of town to donate the minimum amount (which is the maximum my body weight can donate). Not to mention the frequency bonuses for coming in every week.

The nurse named, Sarah, is the absolute best one at this location. So attentive and sweet. Don't get me wrong, everybody is nice. However, she is definitely my favorite.

I've never had a really bad experience here. Lately the WiFi hasn't been working. I've tried a couple of devices. They connect but never get past the "donor passthrough" screen after agreeing to terms an pressing "submit". It does seem to be taking longer than usual in the screening line

Im low-key afraid of needles but they made my first time experience very comforting!

They suck they don't know how to put a needle in the vein try to talk like they're doctors but never know what they're talking about they don't train as long as they need to or should they don't know what they're doing they can't tell what injuries you can donte with nor tell from swelling to a tissue scar they are slow doesn't have as many staff as they should the company really needs to get ahold of the donation centers and staff.

People here are nice. They are slow tho. Understandable with the amounts of people. But regardless ive came thru here and people like the take there stressful days out on the donars id recommend a. Attitude check for all staff. Maybe the new ones can answer a phone? Over all place is ok but dirty very dirty And most staff are nice most of the time anyway the bathrooms are disgusting nive thought about a different donation center tbh

Horrible experience they are making me mail myself something at a different address than my ACTUAL address just to "prove" my address so I can donate. Waste of my time. Even though the first time went perfectly fine with no issues other than my protein being a tad high.

Very professional easy peasy only took 35 minutes

it's funny? they NEVER answer the phone when i call but will always take calls when i?m there before helping me. also they are not kidding about false positives so unless a std scare, a needless trip to the doctor, and a needless talk with the health department is worth 100 dollars per stick to you then go for it. otherwise stay clear. ( i also forgot to add that after you prove it was a false positive to the health department octapharma will continue to mail you until you physically come in so they can tel

I came to this place like everyone else. donate plasma to make money. Time is Money. Something these nurses don't understand. Rows of empty chairs in the back while 8 people wait in the front. Nurses here can't keep up with more than 5 people at a time. they need all the time to look over someone sitting in a bed. idk if it's their policy that they can't have more people or what? i'm writing this review as im waiting to head to the back. Seen 6 people walk out and they called 1 name. Lazy nurses or Bad Mana

I was impressed with this company. I needed a little extra money and it was a positive experience donating my life saving plasma at Octapharma. Thank you

Sometimes. Well everytime I ask myself WHY DO I KEEP COMING BACK HERE? There are 2 ladies here that are absolutely disgusting people. No need to get into details obviously hippa but. Don't be like that. Justice and Thomas are 2 of the best employees you have! Im just not understanding the reason for the rudeness from these 2 ladies here.

Been going here for a while but the last few months is getting out of hand. Long and slow moving lines to get screened and I mean LONG! Staff on the floor are overwhelmed and what use to be an hour process is now closer to a 2 hour process. Some of us donors have jobs and commitments and the inconsistency from octapharma has me looking at other options. you have 6 screening rooms but you only have 1 maybe 2 screening us. it's just getting out of hand....

The staff here are always great especially Thomas and Reiy!! They have the newest machines, which lets you know what your sitting at and very clean facility!! Plus there new member fees are nice too!!

Really slow and when you finally get to the back they tack the first 4 to the same bay and the next one goes to a different bay so gets stuck first in the end. What good are alarms if they don't listen to them. Alarm shouldn't go off for 10 min. And they talk to each other too much.

I always have a good experience here and I have nothing to complain of till today.. a girl name lena was really rude and she wasn't as careful as the other people. My arm has been really sore and hurting bad. I never have had a problem with this!

As we all know, donating is not the funnest thing in the world, but we all have our reasons as why we do it. Here is my story....Due to the fault of a staff member, I am unable to donate until my injury heals completely, WITHOUT compensation. A staff member pulled my blood pressure cuff off of my arm before the last blood return was complete because I was almost done, and she was impatient. This resulted in my arm bending when she jerked the cuff and the needle jamming in to my arm causing severe pain and a

Great service fast to get me in the chair an start my donation highly recommend them.

This place is good! Help people and get cash! Recommend

I have always been taken care of they have the best bed side manners makes sure I'm comfortable and not in pain very thoughtful

Bedside manner is awful. I lost too much blood this time after an unsuccessful donation (my second attempt to donate), and they pretty much threw me a gatorade and said have a good one, then told me I would have to wait 56 days cause of the blood loss. I told them that's fine because I won't be coming back there. I have small veins and they thought it was a good idea to try injecting me anyways. I now have a very large bruise from the first time (which is why I had a deferral because they couldn't give me b

This facility is extremely dirty, and very slow compared to the other facilities in Wichita. The womens bathroom door does not latch or lock. Last week I waited 2 hours before ever getting on the floor to donate. This week the process took 2.5 hrs from start to finish. So slow, so dirty.

This place is horrible. They only ever have 1-2 people screening so you have to wait in line for at least an hour even if there's just a few people in front of you. There's usually even a line to use the kiosks. The phlebotomists in the back where you actually donate are rude. I only ever used to go in the morning and the morning staff (6 am) are so rude. Especially Graceila. She doesn't know how to communicate and when she does she's extremely rude. The ladies who do the screening are rude but not as bad a

My visit is different Everytime I go in. I like everyone there, but people got other things they need to get done during the day, so it would be nice to have more than one screener and less conversation while everyone is staring at them talking about irrelevant stuff

Very disorganised and very slow. Out of the 3+ hours you'll spend up there on a normal trip, only 45-60 minutes is spent actually donating. Expect to spend between 60-90 minutes waiting to be screened, and another 30+ minutes waiting to be connected and disconnected to/from your machine for no other reason than the staff works at a slow and inconsistent pace, frequently pausing to chat with other staff about unrelated topics and/or watch the movies that are on for the donors. Occasionally the staff can b

First time going was overall a good experience. It took way longer than necessary tho. Literally 5 hours from walk in to walk out. Also told my lady if she wasn't really good at sticking Lol to use right arm, she said she was a "pro" and proceeded on my left arm went through my vein entirely which sucked and caused bruising. Other then that it was a very great experience.

Oh MY LORDY! Let me tell you about nurse Jessica! She was so informative and nice. Really made the whole check in and screening process a breeze. She is hands down the bees knees of nurses. First time and man I will be back!!!! Can all nurses be like Jessica plzzzzz. Thanks for the amazing experience.

Horrible experience for myself from kiosk's not reading correct, slow, to bad customer service. I got my usual finger stick and didn't receive a bandaide as asked so unfortunately I bled alot like normal and got blood in alot of areas unaware. Not sanitaty at all. I went once and can't bring myself to return after not receiving a call back from management. Aswell, I chatted with some people prior to open and it was interesting to hear they were all about just fed up with the rude ladies and the equipment fa

My rating is for the staff member Thomas I came in today to donate and there was a miscommunication between staff and myself and I was not able to this miscommunication will be fixed and I will be able to donate soon but I was counting on the money to return home at least and this staff member helped me so much and I was able to get gas money to go home so they go above and beyond at least the staff member did thank you Thomas

I've always enjoyed donating at this location. The crews phenominal!!

Do not use this filthy place. I went to donate a younger girl stuck me once. Then she came back and said needed to adjust. She did than said she needs to restick. She did and got nothing then. So she called someone else over and she restuck me and the 2 girls got into a big argument about machine setting. So a 3rd lady was called to stick my other arm. That lady jamed the needle in so far it hit a nerve and blew out my Vien. Wanted to stick me again because I had blood in the machine that needed to go back

Great place to donate and I enjoy the octapass. I have not used a kiosk in a couple months and it is very convenient to get in straight line to be screened versus standing in line to use the kiosk followed by standing in line to be screened. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend anyone to donate plasma here.

The staff has been friendly ever since I been coming

The staff was extremely nice. They have a good system going. My only complaint is the kiosk. They have only 1 working & that one is super slow.

Friendly staff and plenty of machines, can have long wait times depending on the day/time you attend. One recommendation I have is that they give you a full week to return for your second donation--their payment cycle restarts Monday regardless if it has been a week since your last donation, so if you get deferred on a Sunday you loose your frequency bonus even if it hasn't been a week since the first donation.

It very very worst slow employes are not good enough fast progress to give my husband for three hours it so waste time of hours!!! He had plans for afternoon for my sons birthday today what wrong with employes people!? Come on get busy don't be lazy slow!

Every time I come back here I feel comfortable around the employees kind and funny people they're always checking up on me conversation is always great

So easy!! First donation done! It was a good experience!

This place is okay but its getting really bad around there.I've been going for over 2 years and Today I got turned away today because the person processing me hit the wrong button on the computer and deferred me for the day when she was trying to enter my temp. The manager gave me an express pass and said sorry I can't un-do this, well I lost the whole week pay because it's now Friday and Sunday is my second day so going Sat wouldn't help much. There needs to be some type of override in thier system to f

I went here on 10/17/20 and my arm was so badly injured I couldn't feel it. The woman insisted that she put the needle in right. She tried to say my vein moved when she put the needle in, so she stuck it straight up in my arm when my vein is diagonal. I think the worst of this is that the machine didn't make any noise when there was a problem it just flashed a message saying ?high pressure return. No staff noticed this because they were too busy talking. So I basically sat with a needle in my arm wrong for

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place because long story short you will be waiting for 3-4 hours only to either not be able to donate due to faulty equipment or get your arm/veins messed up due to people not knowing how to do they're job. Long story is this is a terrible place to donate, the way they run the system here you end up having to wait in line for 1-2 hours just to get screened and sent back. Additionally some of the machines they use to screen you are WAY outdated and get a false read

Very friendly and caring staff and not too long of a wait time. I would recommend them 100%

I usually go to CSL, but decided to give these guys a try. The staff is knowledgeable, but cold and sometimes rude. During my first donation, the woman literally moved the needle around in my arm to find the vein: something that has never happened to me neither at CSL nor any form of doctor's office. This lead to bruising for two weeks. I'm sorry, but this office needs a bit of renovation stemming from the slow computers all the way to the impersonal staff.

This used to be an "ok" place. Now the staff cares more about their conversations than patients. Worst of all I had a lady put the needle in and then twisted it at a 45 degree angle for no reason at all. The needle was all the way in and she twisted and turned the needle under my skin. I brought it up to a nurse who asked about the bruise but she never cared about patient safety. She never hinted at caring, or tried to notify a manager. That'd just be extra work.... this is the average day at Octapharma. Be

If there was a way to give a negative rating i would. I was lied to on the phone about my deferral. From over 10 years ago. Was told i was ok to come on in to donate 2 days before Christmas. Yes I was deferred over 10 years ago over a tattoo and that was fine but. Getting lied to by giving me false hope saying it would be lifted if i come in is B.S. i understood why i was not allowed to way back. Management that i talked with was alright though lol. Thanks for the help Max. My kids and I wish y'all a Mer

Answered a question wrong and got deferred for a year. Didn't even try to clarify. Waste of time.

Staff is friendly and machines they have are nice but the place is small, there understaffed and way to overcrowded.. plan about 2 and half hours to donate here!!! Get it together octapharma!!! Get more employee... Still haven't hired any employee and the wait times are just getting worse!!! RIDICULOUSLY SLOW!!! WOW JUST WOW! ILL NEVER GO BACK!!! CSL IS WAY MORE ORGANIZED!!! BY FAR!! take notes from csl octapharma

I lov the way y'all make me feel like family

This is my 4th visit. Normally this place is decent but today they can't seem to get it together.. took an hour to get started and the staff didn't listen to any concerns but said to ask questions.

First visit messed up arm whole fore arm was black. Then I had to argue on the phone for 30 min 4 hours after to get paid. Second trip a little better but put me on a machine they knew was broken before. This machine is very loand a bit concerned wen it's hooked to your arm. I'll be continuing these visits and leaving reviews. So far I'm not happy coming here. Even if you come first thing be ready to wait 2 hours in line and then to get to back and then to be hooked up. About 4 hours after . When they pay

Place is a joke. Crackheads walking in all day donating plasma for cash, but a clean citizen gets flagged and cant donate over a surgery that was 28 years ago that has zero to do with blood or plasma. They just fish for medical records. And reading these fake reviews below me is hilarious. The staff is nowhere near exceptional. You wait a ridiculously long time.

This is an easy way to make a little pocket money, tax free, while doing some good. It's hard to find a better deal than that. The staff is always nice and it doesn't take that long.

I have done for 15 years and the people are great

It pays the best of any plasma donation center in town, but they are understaffed so it's not unusual to be standing in line for screening longer than it takes you to lay down and donate. I've recently gone in at 5pm and finished at 8pm because there was a line stretched across the building, growing by the minute, with only 1-2 nurses screening people.

Alice took care of me and she was so nice and beautiful, I wanna take her to brunch ????

First time, wonderful experience, very helpful staff - second visit was horrible?felt belittled and staff was extremely judgmental and rude. Will never go back.

I've been to this location approximately 20 times and I have never missed a stick and they're always in good humor and very helpful

They play around all the time there and when you to to a bed they take 30 just to stick you csl is way better your in and out there if i didnt loose my i'd be going there but once i get my id to replace my card i will be going back to csl forget that place a hour vist turns to a 2 and a half hour vist

The staff was nice and checked on me to make sure everything was going OK and that I was comfortable

The front staff mixed up info and were rude. Waited 3 hours and 15 minutes to get to back. Watched several vein stickers do multiple patient sticks without changing gloves in between. One staff even dropped the uncapped needle with tube on the floor and proceeded to stick the patient. Everyone should contact The joint commission to complain.

They could use more help. If you ain't waiting up front then you waiting in the back. Other then that ain't much changed over the years same ole stuff.

Employees don't do their job and stand around chatting, leaving you sitting in the bed waiting to be hooked up for 20+ minutes. People go to CSL for a reason, this place is a joke.

Great place to go. Everyone is super nice and the wait time doesn't take very long

This place is always so clean. I feel safe donating here. The state are knowledgeable and kind. They never hesitate to answer any questions or concerns.

1/21/22 donation process overall went great the only problem was staffing being short so it took a bit longer than usual. Otherwise awesome place to donate.

Always quick and efficient. It's never been a hassle and the staff are very personable.

Was in and out pretty quickly. Everyone there is so friendly!

This place is a great way to earn extra income. Depending on the day the lines are busy. I wouldn't give this place 5 stars because the staff seem misguided and the organizational skills of operation need improvement.

I loved the staff and received excellent service, also a lot of them are pretty damn gorgeous I might have to add (the females). They seemed to know what they were doing and attened to the donors in a timely manor i'd gladly donate again

Takes an hour to get paid, the managers appear to always have a rod up thier rear. The staff does not care about you or your time. Overall the worst donation Center in history.

The staff is extremely disrespectful! They don't change gloves between donors. The supervisors and managers are the main problems and that gives the employees the impression that disrespect is okay and is tolerated. No one is smiles and they talk about donors to each other loud enough for other donors to hear. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!

I've never seen a buisness run so slow before like jeez. Most of the worker do more talking than work. If this was not owned and operated from coorparation you can kiss this buisness goodbye.

It is very obvious that this place is going broke or at least they can not afford to hire any help. 1 to 1 1/2 waits in line then a wait to get in the back plus long waits to get hooked up and unhooked. That's not counting that the staff is obviously over worked. Get the hint Octapharma, you need to hire a truck load of people and pay a decent wage to them. Maybe just maybe octapharma will read this and get the hint. As for the rest of the world please do Octapharma a big favor and go somewhere else.

The staff here are very rude, especially a girl name Gabby I believe was her name. They get mad and rough when they have to help you or when you're getting frustrated because they are fishing around in your arm. When white lights turn on they take forever to get to them as well. I went today and had a girl name Madeline work on me and it was the first time an employee actually conversated with me.

The workers do a great job, They are understaffed and underpaid. But they make my time there great.

It's a pretty positive, and consistent donation environment! Service is much appreciated ????

I donated twice a week for 2yrs. It's been awhile since I've donated and I went in yesterday and it was like visiting an old friend. They have great staff.

The people are so nice. Jackie is the best she is the one I see first when I usually come in. I like it cause everyone know my name when I come

I had a great experience! Fast, professional, and the guy that did my physical was so awesome!!!! Clean facility... And well worth my time... Will be back for sure!

Horrible experience. Was treated very rudly by Jasmine. Definitely a sketchy place. Not going back

Curious and well organized

Staff is very friendly. Facility is very clean. You're in and out quickly. Great place to donate.

I had the nicest nurse eho gave me my physcial..very was very thorough and kind and on point explained everything in detail very good bedside manner she should be commended

Very polite people, I was in and out of there pretty quick and had no issues. I recommend.

I donated plasma at octapharma, and I learned all about the process, the need, and the rewards of donating plasma. Of course, l initially set out as a donor to supplement my income, and I did get paid, but it was the video and the interview, in which I was able to ask questions and get answers, that accentuated the higher purpose behind donating. The plasma is truly needed to create certain medicines for very sick people who are without other sources or options. If it had a downside, it was that the initia

Staff friendly, always helps if you don't understand the way the payments work, I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks octapharma for the great experience!!!!!????
