My first time coming here this was recommended on TikTok & when I walk in the security guard was very nice to me. He noticed is my first time and he said don't worry they will definitely take care of you so I went in the front right off the bat. They were so nice to me especially Justin. he is definitely one of the best. He's very funny made me feel comfortable and don't get me started on Priscilla. She is so amazing. She is very funny too. The others are amazing as well. Lovely coming here again my experie
The staff at this location is great, and management is awesome. I haven't experienced any negative personalities any time during my donation. The phlebotomy skills are on point. Every time I'm here, I always notice smiles from the staff, and they constantly without fail thank me. I feel accepted and appreciated. They's why I'm motivated to donate every week. Thank you, management, for hiring a wonderful staff. A+ service with 5 star abilities.
This place is disgusting, there is a charter school around the block (Zeta south bronx) and when they dispose of theyre garbage, they leave blood, needles, gauze and other harmful bodily fluids on the floor IN FRONT of the school entrance, i tried contacting sanitation but i couldnt get to speak to anybody. i went inside to speak to the manager and he just Brushed me off and kinda laughed about it lol, unbelievable. This wouldnt be happening on Park avenue in Manhattan. Pictures and videos included. DISGU
I waited for two hours without my name been called. I spoke to the supervisor and was told my name was called which wasn't because they couldn't even find my ticket. I logged in the second time and my ticket still wasn't found I was waiting in front of line of the waiting area and my name was never called. They made me sign in again and the ? Manager?, A black woman with dreads had the most disgusting and nastiest attitude ever. No apology ,no explanation. I asked her to confirm with the supervisor and sh
The people were nice, which is why I'm giving it another star. I'm rating it down because the website is inaccurate for what you need as a form of ID and for your SS card. They said a picture would be fine online for the SS card, but they told me it's a "50/50 shot" as to whether or not it'll work. They also said an Amazon package would be okay as a form of address online, but it's not. So the website needs to be updated, and I'm a bit frustrated because I've wasted my time coming down here. I will update m
Staff especially the supervisor blonde hair short have the nastiest attitude. Dont know how to do her job. Have other staff under her not knowing how to stick people properly. Always on there phones and not being professional. It's just sad really sad how they should be investigate but isnt. I believe noone should go unless you know people who you want to stick you because their rude and dont care if they hurt you. And just because you need a few dollars dont mean your an animal or need to be treated as su
I'm a regular here. I come twice a week. Some staff are amazing human beings while others look miserable. I've seen fast food minimum wage employees show more positivity then some workers here. I've seen prison inmates with better optimism in their faces.
The staff work with patience and real professional, The lobby line wait can be hectic at certain times of the week but other than that my expierence is good, If you're looking to make quick easy money i recommend Olgam Life Plasma Donation Center !!! ??
They are very slow the staff plays around with each other rather then put ppl on the empty tables The music is getto and thuggish this place needs more ppl to stick then have workers who play around
I'll give 4/5 stars because they need to contact Google to fix their Google Maps location asap! THIS IS HOW YOU GET HERE! - Put the Planet Fitness next door (2914 Third Ave, Bronx, NY 10455) as the location your trying to get to and then Oglam will literally be right next to them. For some reason on Google maps it looks like Oglam is on its own street but it's not!
I brought proof of address, ID & they needed a physical social security card because they claim they run the numbers through a directory and if it doesn't pop up they need the actual card. Never in my life heard anything like this in a clinic setting. Big Red Flag ??
I've been to other locations and never had any problems, but at this one the machines messed up twice on me and I just got deferred for two months. If it's a problem with the machine or the staff who is not monitoring it. Then why should the donor be blamed. Maybe you should fix the machines or pay attention to the people who are hooked up to them better.
The Staff are very helpful and Nice to the people who are donating. It's faster now then it use to because they fixed the machines. Expect to be there an hour or more.
The staff are fine, the place is clean, the process is standard, the rates are meh. They do virtually zero promotions which is strange for a plasma center. Worst of all is, the payment card provided is a Visa Debit that SHOULD work anywhere Visa Debit cards are accepted, except it DOESN'T! I can ONLY withdraw from ATMs, and it has NEVER worked a SINGLE time for payment at any store, at all. Also, there's a hidden $2 fee EVERY TIME I WITHDRAW MONEY, EVEN AT FREE ATMS! INSANE!!!! Never coming back here again.
Patient to tech ration is ridiculous. No one seems to be working with any sense of consideration to people's time. ONE tech to 25 patients! Then you have the IG nurse walking around in a crop top... anotger walking around with unwashed hair under a winter cap... its 70degrees... what happened to looking professional and presentable ans CLEAN in the medical field?!
I came here from Parkchester, after ease dropping on two staff members (at the Parkchester location) talking about how this location is bigger and has more staff. Parkchester location was ridiculously slow. Get there at 630 am and wouldn't leave sometimes till 11am! With that being said, this location is MUCH faster. I was blown away by how fast I was in out (especially when I have a GOOD phlebotomist). Now the cons: - The nasty main bathroom. I was disturbed by how nasty the main lobby bathroom was. No t
Going to Olgam life was really pleasant. The staff there were very helpful very energetic. I love the way they work especially Sonia Cruz Rosa. She's a great phlebotomist. She caught my vein right on time like I mean like it was just like I've never had anyone catch my vein the way she did Also, Jestin Corres. Is a great screener he Screened me the first time I came to Olgam Life it's a great family orientated place. I felt like one of the team even though I am a client. I really enjoyed my time there. The
How you doing my name is George Lassu, I been a donor for almost 2 years and I never had a problem with this location. I got banned for 4 days for nothing. I was having a problem with one of the workers in the back, his named is Josh. I had asked another worker to assist me, because he mess my arm the last time I came to this facility and he got nasty with me. when I told him I didn't what him touching my arm because this wasn't the first time he made a mistake., this happen on November 18 2024 at 7:am at
Amazing when you get the staff that care about their Job and making your process smooth and seamless. I only feel comfortable having 2-3 ppl from this site stick me on the machine, I don't trust everyone else especially bc I have small veins so I need someone that excels with those.
Im a consistent client and am here pretty oftdn, I appreciate you guys a lot because the money has helped me in a really tough period but I have to say that i can count on 1 hand thr amount of staff members who have treated me with respect... And I dont mean that the other staff are just bored or indifferent, though somme are, I mean many of them openly show disdain and hatred for the clients. They dont bother to hide how much they hate us and their jobs, and though I understand a job not paying you enough
I used to like this location and i tried to resolve an issue i was having but management made it difficult so i feel like i must communicate it on here. Olgam will have you chasing their promo text bonuses perpetually. Back in December 2, 2024 i got a text saying return and receive a 5$ bonus. Its Feb 6,2025 after trying to claim it to the front desk 3 times, 3 different managers Brenden, darwin, and george all said various times they will take care of it and i have not recieved anything. I sent olgam an em
if i can give less than a star i would, i walked in and the lady in the front desk was super rude with attitude, you guys need to reevaluate who you're hiring because everyone in there has a nasty attitude and are super unwelcoming i walked right out of there and the people who draw blood dont even know what theyre doing!
This place is awful!!! I came early before the crowd to find out they did my processing wrong on the first visit. It delayed my donation and I had to wait behind new crowds of people that entered after me. I came at 9am and it's currently 11:12am and I'll probably be here to 1 or 2pm. Then every time you use the money card your charged 0.25-0.50 per a transaction on the $50-60 amount they give you per a donation. I wanted to leave at registration but outside is storming and I have no choice but to wait. Com
Be careful with this place they only wanna work good when managers are on the floor. It's a ghetto place needs to be shut down. And they scales are off no way I gained 10lbs in a week I exercise alot be very careful with this place
The phlebotomists there have good customer service Debbie is sweet, so is Rissa I would keep returning.
first few times I came here I didn't have any issues beyond the extremely long wait. this is about the 5th or 6th time I've donated and honestly one of the worse experiences. the staff who are " trained phebotomist " were uncomfortable because they claimed i have small veins and they refused to insert me with there one size only large needles. the staff SONIA was attempting checking my vein with dirty gloves stained with iodine and when i asked If she could change her gloves she got offended. put the to
First time donating plasma but was a blood donor before. This facility is clean and welcoming. I came a lil after it opened at 8 and the it was already a line. It took some time to call my name but after called first time they take your info. Then you wait to be checked weight and blood proteins. Once everything looks good you get a physical and set up with a bed one they're available. They set you up with a machine and during the process they give you the card that you'll use to get paid for donations. Sta
During my recent visit to the donation center, I encountered a staff member whose dedication and professionalism made a significant impact on my experience. Stephanie patiently explained the donation process in detail, taking the time to ensure I understood each step thoroughly. Her compassionate demeanor and clear communication immediately put me at ease, alleviating any apprehensions I had about the procedure. Throughout my time at the center, stephanie?s attentiveness and commitment to providing excell
Seems like you guys are not aware that your staff is apart of your company and they are certainly a reflection of the business and owners!! The front desk ladies are generally rude, a face you don't want to approach and a mouth you risk a felony for! As a New Yorker I can handle myself however makes your company an undesirable place. BBS n other agencies should take an extra look .since staff don't represent ya I'm worried these staff aren't even hired by the company. Psa they leave u on no flow for a long
Don't recommend, you're much better off going somewhere else where they'll pay you better.
omg I love those place the staff is so nice.. I will love to work there..
Definitely my favorite location out of all of them, never felt like my time was ever wasted and the music selections are probably some of the chillest. Everyone here has always been respectful in my opinion and they just get things done very professionally I've never had a problem.
Takes waaaaay too long. It's like they're short staffed. The few they do have take forever to get to you
Amazing fast service and this place is great. Unfortunately the staff is rude and very unprofessional. It sucks that such a good company and good service can be brought down by how they treat clients. I blame the managers because if you tolerate the staff being rude then they will continue to do it. Therefore I have given 2 stars. It would have been 5 stars If they were more professional and nice. I know that you have staffing issues so I guess you guys hire anybody off the street but hey you guys chose thi
Stephanie made my donation experience truly exceptional. Her patience and compassion in explaining every step of the process ensured that I felt fully informed and comfortable throughout. Her clear communication and genuine care turned what could have been a daunting experience into a smooth and reassuring one. Stephanie's professionalism and kindness are remarkable, and I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone considering donation. Thanks to Stephanie, my experience was not only stress-free but als
I want to say, this is the 7th time I've tried to donate at this place! It's horrible! Every single time the staff is super rude! The lady at the front, heavy set African American woman is so angry! She told us she having a bad day, so don't start with her! Like bro are You kidding! Also every single time I've came it's been a different denial reason ! Because I'm from Upstate is the new reason today! I'm telling you the owner hads no idea how bad these employees are treating people! It's the worst! I would
During my recent visit to the donation center, I had the pleasure of encountering a staff member who made a remarkable difference in my experience. She patiently guided me through the donation process, ensuring I understood each step thoroughly. Her compassionate approach and clear explanations alleviated any concerns I had, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I left feeling grateful for her exceptional service and would confidently recommend this center to others seeking a positive donatio
Nahh no funny, Kalya N. be keeping the queue Moving !????????? 80% of the time the bell ring it be her station #1 on the screen. Shorty weighed me, pricked me, and took my vitals all at the same time likeee yoooooo !???????= GOATED I would have gave it 4 ???s but the wait be too long most days. I would have gave it a 5 ?? if they rubbed me with the Iodine longer (that's the only relaxing comforting part about the whole process)
Very nice clean environment kind staff and they make sure safety first Recommended to anyone wanting to save a life and earn some money all while doing it in a highly controlled environment Julie Darwyn and Alexis make me less afraid their needle sticks they are precise and don't hurt or bruise thank you to the entire team and the clinic is also conveniently located near the 2 & 5 subway line open Sunday thru Thursday 8-4 feel free to put me down as your referral *Yaliana Medina
Me and husband got discriminated because our zip code is 10457. And the Receptionist said everybody that live in Bronx New York 10457, that we have hepatitis, and that is wrong. We want to donate plasma, we are in good health and want to save life?s. We are not give you people 5 stars. We are going to make a complaint with the city and state of New York.
Great place every one is friendly and the service is fast
I went for the 1st time to donate and be able to help people who needs plasma and I got denied because I didn't have the right proof of address they said I needed a bank statement is a bank statement is going to help a person that's in need of plasma it's sad how I got denied I went 3 times with different documents and still got denied that's unfair to people who needs plasma shame on you
Expect this location to stay packed - so easily 2hrs will be spent here but you have a human staff that does their utmost best in ensuring a consistent pace. Yoheidy was awesome during my screening/triage process and she definitely deserves a raise!! Easiest extra 100$ a week.
I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Stephanie at the plasma donation center, and I cannot praise her enough. Her professionalism and expertise in the field are truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel at ease with her warm demeanor and clear explanations of the donation process. Stephanie's attention to detail and thoroughness in answering all my questions were impressive. She ensured that I fully understood the qualifications and steps involved, making the entire experie
I'm very disappointed with this place I went to donate for the first time I want to help lives by donating my plasma and I was denied because I didn't have the correct proof of address they requested a bank statement is a bank statement going to save a life i provided a hra letter as well as other letters with my name and I was still denied it's really a shame mind you i went three times with different mail and nothing resulted so therefore Olgam you failed a person that needed plasma just because I didn't
I want to share my experience at the plasma donation center, where I encountered exceptional service from Tiffany, the medical receptionist. Her warm greeting and efficient service made my visit so much smoother. Despite the busy morning rush, she took the time to explain the process clearly and patiently answered all my questions. Tiffany's cheerful demeanor and professionalism truly made me feel valued as a donor. It's reassuring to encounter someone like Tiffany who goes above and beyond to ensure donors
There is no reason why there is such a long line here everytime you come here. It doesn't make any sense. We need Chase to come back and run this place efficiently.
Hello I wanted to give 5 stars to your Representative Tequila. She was very friendly, very informative, and patient with the rude guest that she was encountering with. I watched while I waited in line. When I got to the counter I informed her on how she was dealing with the clients and thanked her for her hard diligence of work.
The people show you all respect an let you know how easy it will be.an help u to relax an check up on you as u go along it's very clean from the outside to the inside the place is well care for bathroom and donations area wipe down as a person is done. An most of all they make u fill good to be able to help someone who is in need
Great the 2 times I've gone. Staff is cool. The supervisor I think she's Hispanic with glasses. She handles things excellent! I saw it on today. ?? ?? love that
Overall the majority of staff has been very caring, patient, understanding, and I will agree perhaps overworked at times. I have grown to learn some of their names in a professional manner of course. I haven't had a bad experience but that's not to say others haven't. Olgam Life done has it's own unfortunate situations too. As in life, I expect the best cause I am giving my best...when it comes to Olgam Life Plasma Donation, I sincerely believe staff is too. Ain't that right Ms. college mom, Ms. Drop it lik
Stephanie's dedication to her work is truly commendable. She not only thoroughly explains the donation qualifications but also ensures that all my questions for the medical team are answered with patience and clarity. Her professional and attentive approach makes this location exemplary. I highly recommend this center because of her exceptional service and commitment to helping donors.
Most of the public facing staff is great! However, lately many staff have left and they are always short staffed. They also have a habit of moving people as fast as possible through intake just to learn that there is a 2 hour wait AFTER completing intake. They have people standing in the hallway and stack them up in the 'forth bay' which is not currently being used for collections. This gives the illusion that they are not very busy since they know nobody is going to walk out after going through intake. I
I went here 5 times and the females that see you when you come in are very unprofessional and talk right so when you go be ready for there attitude and just think about your money cause they will get you Red flagged and she lyed on me to do it
Firstly the staff are a charm. This site is understaffed for the volume of people that come new or otherwise. The wait time listed is on a curve expect the entire process to last 2 to 4 hours REALISTICALLY. Have a sweater handy and if you're a hungry human have snacks and water with you bc I can guarantee, you will get hungry and thirsty; also their AC don't play ?? Expect to be standing and waiting for a while
William Rodriguez is the best!! I hate needles and i can't even feel it when he's helping me! Give him a raise!!!
The staff here are very unprofessional they only be respectful to those they know. No one has courtesy for each other and the donors. They treat the donors with disregard towards the services. The front desk is always no person their to help or answer the phone or to answer important questions. All the girls are very rude and only come to work to look pretty
Excellent and efficient service. Very friendly staff. Very clean facilities
Staff is professional nice Easy process fast donation Easy payment.
Don't waste your time to donate here.. the staff is very unprofessional. They lie to your face. long waiting line.. plus the place always smell of Marijuana... never have a full staff. Better to go another center. Just don't go to this one
I love donating for only one reason. There is a worker there that is awesome on many levels. Ysenni is a very respectful, very professional worker . She knows how to communicate with other people without conflict. I appreciate her and her hard work and dedication that she brings to the table. If I could give her ten stars I would!!
I went to this place for a while and they made a couple mistakes not too big but one day. This new trainee didn't plug up something and when it was time for my blood to go back in it wasn't able to because the trainee had messed up and didn't hook something up. So they took all that blood 800 ml worth that I didn't consent to crazy. And after that they just went on like there day was normal no repercussions or anything. This was my only source of income at the moment and they also told me I couldn't come ba
Constantly making excuses to not do their jobs. Refuse to sign me up cause theyre ?packed?. Went the next day just to tell me to come back at 10, came back at 10 just for them to tell me they not taking any new ppl cause the reception left
It's one of the relaxing places to donate. Its super clean all the time. You have great people that is working hard and still bring the friendliness for people that hate needles(not saying i dont like needles, plus i am not a punk for needles, its just too sharp) thats not the point. One person come to mind is Jenn. Works hard and always having a great positive attitude. Jenn is great with the needle, I had blink my eyes I didn't feel a thing. Also Jenn will make sure my bandages is good
Takes to long almost 3hours to donate and some of the staffs have nasty attitudes what is going on here
Terrible place. The employees are slow and lazy. They don't value patients time. Don't come here.
This place is disgusting their management has nasty attitudes I donated on Tuesday I was told I was given a bad card my payment of 50 was never out on my card so I went back on Thursday to get a new card and donate more plasma I was able to get a new card but with no payment ?ended up get 32 dollars as a payment was only given 26 dollars on my oglam card on Thursday from Tuesday not even the right amount but I left it it's Friday and I still haven't got my payment from Thursday which is 60 I really suggest
Overall if you don't get there early it will be pack epically for new comers the first time I went there i waited about 5 hours to just donate and if the staff don't like you they will not give you information about the donation or any questions u have. Most of the staff is extremely rude and it ruins your experience there because they will try to rush you because they are short staffed even though it's not our fault. Epically the women employees there come off very bitter if you not a guy. I would rather g
Love love love the flambodamists girls here they are very very informative and professionals here at the 3rd ave here in the Bronx location, do have a lil crush on Ashley ..
All of the staff members are wonderfully diverse individuals and seem to handle the day to day challenges extremely well. This center remains clean?and the donation area is always spotless. I've witnessed some colorful happenings and the staff did their jobs well without missing a beat! The following workers i just encountered were awesome Taharat ?Johore?Chantelle?Deena?Tabby?Renee as well as Deena. They all work well together and make my visits pleasant. Thank you ??
The place is disgusting, and it's disgusting how they have their employees over worked for the money. 2 phlebotomist for the night shift, they should?ve shut down or closed early. The poor workers. And then have medical running back and forth between phlebotomy, medical , and front desk. The owner should be ashamed of themselves no wonder they're always understaffed because they can't keep anybody that want to work in this disgusting environment. I guess the ppl at the top are the for those enormous check
My recent visit was horrendous today, Sunday, as I asked for a band aid after the lady with the tongue ring- who does the intake before donating plasma- spoke to me very poorly saying that I don't need to stop what I am doing to give you one. Very nasty and unprofessional on her end and I hope she gets reprimanded for speaking to people that way. The workers who do the intake process need to have better training in how to speak with donors and it's very disturbing that this is the second time that I have do
Ayanna is the best. She is professional courteous and kind. Makes my visit. Pleasant every time
This place is so getto, very unprofessional, very rude it's unbelievable, if the staff there aren't happy with their job, they should change their profession. I'm standing right in front of them for like 20 minutes and not one of them ask me what I'm there for it's unreal, the rudeness wasn't with me because nobody spoke to me which is rude but I witnessed the unprofessionalism with others and on the phone. To the owner of this facility you should really change the whole staff there.
This place and it's employees suck! Receptionists are rude as hell and need to be fired! They denied me because I have recently moved to NY and am waiting for my new lease and they refused my NJ state ID. They said I must have a NY ID with proof of address, yet upon the numerous hours on line they accepted and serviced over 10 homeless people and multiple visible drug addicts. Wow... talk about help the people, how do you accept people who are visibly under the influence?
The place is okay a lot has change since I've came the first time . I'm actually here now and got in pretty quick and already on a bed . My only downfall is the rude employees they have especially at the front desk the girl with the long Blue braids is so rude she makes the front desk look badd ! I've also had a rude encounter with her over the phone . She speaks to us donors as if we are nothing . Not everyone who donates is broke and not everyone who donates is onky here for money . I've seen wealthy peo
BioLife can't touch the excellent service and opportunity provided by Olgam.
I don't know what happened last time I donated, there was a big bubble at the insertion spot where the needle was and after my blood was being returned to me. It was scary. I was feeling light headed, pressure in my head and my arm. It was about 2 inches. Well I panicked and got one of the workers to help me. They removed me immediately, gave me Gatorade and all. But I return a week later, and I can't donate because there is an active investigation. I wasn't made aware of this???? There's an investigation i
I have been coming to this particular donation center for a while. I have always had an pleasant experience here. The staff are courteous, friendly, respectful and professional. I would like to personally thank Dawn for her patience.
Had a really pleasant experience in here. It was a quick process and the nurse helping me (Dawn) was amazing and explained everything happening to me in great detail. I'd highly recommend
Nice place go too so far... Amazing music there's
Staff are great and friendly. Every one from security to maintenance to the nurses and doctors . This place def helped me out in a time of need.. honestly
Had a sample taken 6 weeks ago, it came up good but have been waiting for the doctor to change me over to donation status for 6 weeks, and am doubtful it will get changed back. They may be an outside resource, but olgam hired them.
Dawn was great and she made my visit this go around much more pleasant than the last. She has compassion and she made me feel comfortable with the bumps in the process! Thank you Dawn!
I had a great experience during my screening process with the help of Ysenni. I was really nervous at first and she helped ease my worries and made the process easier. Just look for her if you have anxiety and worries , she is very patient.
For the last 4 weeks I have had issues with this location. I come in at night by 6pm. This is the only location I visit because I take public transit because it is the best, convenient location and because I have gotten to know the staff over the last year and a half and Evelyn, Darwin, Sonia and Julie are usually very precise in their technique which helps to ensure my successful donation. A few weeks ago the hours changed to where I thought I'd have to stop coming. The week before last, I got into an argu
I can't speak about the other centers but this one right here is by far one of the best ones I been too , it's clean , process is easy , Dawn and the rest of the staff are very professional and make you feel at home , if you ever in the city stop by I highly recommend it
The staff at this place is very professional and have a lot of respect
The staff is nice and generous. They make me laugh and smile every time I come. Shania,Asha, Ashley, simone,Bradley,RO the best team I know
Ysenni is a good individual hard worker at olgan life plasma donation center in the Bronx area.. 5 stars everything communicate understanding cooperative. This is a good place to communicate with the support staff. I don't have no complaints with nobody. The cleaner crew make sure this place clean and sanitize. ????
I am here currently. I arrived around 4:36am. I understand it's early but y?all really should have someone to direct and manage the line. I ended up having to direct and control the flow for signed vs unsigned clients. As it was my personal choice to do so , it was based off me not wanting the issue to directly or indirectly a me. I am not an employee of Olgam, I don't not know your policy?s or procedures . If it had become escalated situation (because as your aware some of the clientele here can become an
OKAY YOU GUYS MAKE 5K OR 4K OF EACH PERSON WHO DONATES AND YA GIVING 50-60 DOLLARS IS NOT ENOUGH WE HAVE TO STAND THERE FROM WHAT EVER TIME SOME PPL BE SKIPPING THE LINE IV STOOD THERE ONE TIME FROM 4AM TO 6AM for me to still wait till like 7Am to be called in prick my finger then to be called again to sit down and sometimes you HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEM TO COME STICK YOU with the needle AND MOSTLY THE PEOPLE WHO STICK US DONT DO IT RIGHT THEY HE HIGH FROM SMOKING WEED MY VEIN WAS MESSED UP ONE TIME FOR 50-60 d
Tatiayanna is professional and great at what she does. She makes sure I'm comfortable during my plasma draw. She gets the vein and guides the needle in without pain. She has a nice personality as well.
IMMEDIATELY SIGN IN AT THE KIOSK WHEN YOU GET HERE. They had me wait all the way at the end of the line, then when I signed in when I was near the kiosk, a Dominican woman who wears contacts lenses at times with blonde braids proceeds to tell me I need to go to the back of the line after I just waited an entire hour. And the joke is that she tried to be ?fair? by selecting who goes by name and queue but before she told me I had to go to the back of the line, she was letting multiple people go in, not caring
Alisha was amazing, her perfessionalism, she explained everything so well,it's my first time.she would be my phlebotomy from now on.
This place is horrible, dirty, the workers literally be on drugs go on break to smoke and come back high then think you gonna let them stick you. I have seen people faint and have big scars on their arm bcuz they was poke wrong. You will get jip out of your money. The workers gossip about each other and they sleep with each other and donors. I will never let Jennifer the big spanish one, Katy or nemesis stick me. Julie is sweet and chance was the best manager there now its horrible. You will waiting there 4
The staff is ok unfortunately the bathrooms were out so it was a little hectic running out to Chipotle to use the bathroom because after waiting for about 2 hours after hydrating it has to go out. Had a few unsuccessful sticks couldn't blame the phlebotomists had to reduce the amount of coffee I drink and sure enough I'm done in about an hour I usually donate once a week when I have the time.
My experience has been a great one since the year I've been here especially the services I received from Dawn Williams! Keep up the good work guys
Rosana was amazing she is kind and patient and overall nice and friendly
Well. Ok. Honestly. The staff are amazing. Having to deal with the many personalities and characters and they all manage to maintain professional and keep a smile on.
Kimberly is always of fresh of breath air when i see her . Shes the best , i just very may well ask her to marry me ??
Staff move around like there's no work to be done they are understaffed no structure what so ever says 30 minutes but you end up in there for 3-4 hours waiting just to get in then hope you dont get skipped don't know if all the donation centers are like this but definitely a very bad experience coming here everytime won't come no more even the manager doesn't care seems like he's more worried about getting more hours on his paycheck saying they not robots but they not working either suppose to be 5 at a ti
Friendly and efficient staff. Examiners are patient and kind even when they're near closing. (shout out to Tatiana!)
Nice friendly and informative,, since renovations noticed a steep drop in customer/patient care. How can someone send a simple blood test out 6 weeks ago, and say that the blood place has no info on it? Now is that the patients fault either way that gets there at 8am and waits on line for over an hour? Nope. Do they care, give a good explanation, but they still send out texts to come in ( but those r automated). $,time , patience and not even a courtesy anything. They don't care, I was even told by manager w
A few days ago, I had donated at this location for the first time, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to process donors. I left feeling that the Staff, and security were helpful, and friendly!
They discriminated against me because I live at a certain zip code in the Bronx smh
Never go to this place to donate they are unprofessional and make up whatever rules they can think of on the spot. Not to mention the women who work there are beyond rude and discourteous complete attitudes. This place is not as nicely advertised and would never recommend this place to anyone trying to donate blood plasma.
I really don't know where to begin ??... From the first time I came here, it has exponentially increased in people waiting to donate. I'm guessing it was from those bogus texts about a bonus and then canceled ??... Waits are at minimum 4 hours and as long as 6 on most days... I came at 5am the last attempt and it was already a line down the hallway. I turned around and went back home. Not really that serious to be standing around for this long for 50-60 bucks... I haven't been back since... All walks of lif
I don't even wanna give it a one star I came to the facility. They denied me because they said they were closed but on the website stated that they were still open second time I come here to donate and there's an issue you're better off going somewhere else they're very unprofessional . Very hostile environment if it's not the employees arguing and fighting it's the people that come in to donate arguing and fighting not a safe place to be !!
I really wanted to give this place 0 stars because that's exactly what they deserve but there's two workers at this location that are actually good and caring people. They know who they are. The rest of the workers there just care about getting they money & waste people time. They are VERY unprofessional here. All they do here is take they sweet time with everything & talk to everyone but the patients. I wish they would get it together but they honestly don't care about nothing else but themselves.
They have been closing or shutting down with out updates. It would really be advisable to mark as closed by 2:00 . Today app still said 3:00 as a consideration to us donors as well as yourselves if you have to close close dueto un forseen issues that may occur please be kind enough to shut the site down offline ??
The experience was super simple and the music is a +
The staff was professional, friendly, and courteous. The process was quick and the outcome of knowing I'm helping to possibly save someone else's life is definitely worth it, not to mention being paid to be a good Samaritan! Good music, nice looking staff, what more could you ask for?
When I went, there was only two kiosk working. Got into an altercation with a guy because I was first in a separate line on the side to use it and some guy came in and didn't even look around and was about to use it when someone was done with it. I politely said ?sir there's a line? and walked up to use it. He was clearly pissed. I had to end up getting on another line to see an agent because I wasn't yet registered at this location. I ended up leaving because the line to even get to the back was long and I
I can't stress enough that the staff are great they really take pride in their job. The cleanliness of the facility is awesome. I have been dealing with the same nurses since I've been donating and that's Yolanda, and Lorena. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Let me start off by saying I have no issues with anyone with drug abuse issues but this place is full of junkies we spent 3 hours outside in a line to be told by management they're not accepting new donors today and I was there since 9:00 a.m. this morning the manager has no customer service skills she was on the phone the whole time and told her co-manager that she would not accept the new donors today didn't even acknowledge that we were there pretty rude given that we are coming in make an impact on the
I come here often usually you're in and out in 2 1/2 hours but today I got here at 4:40pm barely anyone in line and the staff dragging their feet, Machines Malfunctioning etc. I've been here in the chair waiting on a nurse to stick me for 40 minutes this is not cool or professional I have to work tomorrow. This is the 2nd time I came in afternoon and it was disfunction everywhere you look. I don't see any real teamwork when it comes to helping other patients get out the building faster.
My experience there was great!! My first time there was very fast and easy, I provided my documentation to the front office, I watched a short video and proceeded to intake. They set up my profile, then tested my blood and took my temperature. They checked my blood pressure and took my weight. I then waited for about 15 minutes to be put on a machine that takes your blood and plasma. I was on the machine for about 45min and that was it! I was given my debit card during intake and my money was available imme
I'm aware of this place safe place and staff is great only place I go to in the Bronx need phone bill money I'm there stay blessed one
Machines are ways malfunctioning causing patients to get deferred for months. Its sad how much money they make off us and all we get is crumbs yet they can't afford to fix faulty machines. I know many people who got hematomas from this location. You guys need to step your game up or give these people more money cause little does everyone know they risking their health every donation
Amazing staff. Very professional. But most of all very patient with the different type of personalities they encounter on a daily basis. Service so great I travel from Brooklyn to the Bronx because I feel like family there
Nemesis is great!! She's nice and does her job well!! I never have any issues when she sticks me ??
I don't understand why the bathroom In The back is still out of service is ridiculous this is a medical facility and the water fountain also has been out of service for a very long time knowing plasma donors need a lot of water this just shows me that the owners only care about money not the donors know I want to see what reply I get for this comment besides those 2 things the facility is great staff and all
I'm a single mom that goes here 1-2 times a week because I have to. No choice. I rely heavily on it for survival. They sent me three separate texts, telling me of a holiday bonus of $150 on the 8th donation. Gave me and lots of others hope. So when I got there, it was busy but I was number #37..I've been that far before and made it out within 2-3 hours?but I waited about 6 hours this day and was late picking my son up from daycare. Apparently they were calling numbers out of order. The waiting donors starte
The workers don't respect the patients they are very rude
Omg she is one of the nicest worker you guy have, please kept her and don't let her go, and she always hit my vines on the frist try, she great...
They are rude and not professional especially their supervisor
Every time you go there an issue and it's sad because I did like the location until a point in time you be waiting more then 3 hours. Poor costumer service. Workers are very disrespectful a lot of Shadiness goes on at this location please save your time and yourself by going to somewhere else like the Brooklyn location
Lol Horrible ?? I have to laugh because this facility has to be a joke! And needs to be shut down by the DOH. One visit to this clinic and you'll see lots of normal people, but mostly drug addicts lined up to donate plasma? Is that even ethical?! Who is this being donated to???
I'm making a complaint about harassment at Olgam life in the Bronx by a female that likes me so today I came in to donate like I always do she was in today this nurse continues to call me or my friends to see where I am today I told her I would like someone else to use the needle on my arm she got very nasty with me because I didn't look at her like that so next thing I know I had to come back the next day and they claim I was hostile but you guys can definitely check out the cameras that's not right so I'm
My experience was amazing today with Jen she did a really great job I will be coming back
Each time I go there seems to be a different closing time. Today I got there at 6:10pm to be told by two workers outside that they're closed (not the first time it happened). I've received no text message stating that the store will be closing early, Clearly this company enjoys wasting peoples time.
Highly unprofessional, building is filthy, staff are very disrespectful, highly disorganized. Would absolutely recommend any other place. DO NOT GO UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Requires a very high amount of patience to deal with.
This center is full of good vibes. I love Ruth?s smile especially. Stay safe y?all!
Great experience. I've been coming since they opened and everyone here does a great job. I would definitely recommend people to come to this location, Love the staff they are very friendly and they treat everyone with respect! Super friendly and explain the process very well. A very professional and clean environment.Darwyn ,Auntie & Jalissia was very pleasant to be around.
Leslie is the best she treats us with respect and she so lovely and by the way she have great hands. She really need a RAISE and A BIG PROMOTION.
Not happy with the one on third avenue the one on Bronx east is so much better.
Pitkin location is absolutely amazing. The staff here is super friendly, courteous and well trained knowing exactly what to do.
Best Phlebotomist is Ashley. She always busy and helps out a lot. Always running the flows as it should be and putting structure. 10/10
The Brooklyn location is so much better. It seems like they're short staffed and the staff they do have move at a snails pace doing absolutely nothing. I'm not saying you have to be running around like a headless chicken but when you have 10+ people waiting and a bunch of empty beds it shouldn't take as long as it does.
Joann is such a sweetheart. Shes speedy and always tries to ensure everyone that enters is comfortable.
5 stars for funny money. Plasma is worth way more than 50 & 60$ and that's all they want to give the people. Elites have this thing of not paying people what their supposed to be paid, also takes money from your debit card, Used to give 150$ of you referred people, now they only give 50$. You never will see 60$ because you got to pay the ATM. Consistent issues as far as being short staffed. If you in need go for it, if not don't do it you will get cheated out your money. your plasma is worth more than what
Kendall!! Amazing worker love it here?..but I really use to enjoy listening to the music. Sadly, it stopped. Bring back the music olgam!!!
Great experience good workers above all Ken does an amazing job always hard working and keeps the building maintained.
Good Day All; I want to start off on a positive note: Thank you to these select individuals & please excuse me if I forget a name? -Darwin(Ur Fuccin Amazing??) -Sonia -Nemesis(Ur Da Best 2 Ever Fuccin Do It????) -Kareem -Julie -Jen -Brandon - Kayla (Harley) **For all of their patience, professionalism, great de-escalating skills, and most importantly no matter what may be occurring they make sure the donors are at ease & comfortable. I appreciate them kindly. Now, my biggest concern is the new employees t
Workers here on Thursdays are very ignorant and facetious with ppls and thier time that come from far to complete their. Their major slackers. Or Twice in 25 minutes workers had to figure out about their intake decision and the spoil they blame it on that I was smelling so I had to go. When Ima gymnast, hand ball player and football player and I hadn't worked out in 4 days. Plus to put the icing on my cake...I tested one of their colleges and their colleges said he couldn't smell anything after I stood
Today I donated and I did not get paid. 7am till 10am then I left and waited for my deposit and nothing. It's 8pm now and still no deposit,I call and the problem was solved great place the only one i trust to go to donate the girls here are the best from the intire company
Went yesterday for the first time and was treated VERY BADLY spent over 4 hours there and didn't even get to donate the staff is disrespectful and condescending that place is just a waste of time.
The staff here are very polite and professional. (I would recommend to ask for Angel, Auntie and Julissa). The actual donation place is very clean and well-kept, the only downside would be the environment outside. Otherwise then that, it's a good place to come if you're looking to make extra money! (college students, this is for you)
These place has the worse management i have ever seen. They don't respect clients treating them like they are poor for going there. Some workers will make up reasons to kick u out if they have a personal vendetta against you. If you can go somewhere else go, they do pay u but no respect for human life, they will make u feel poor
The bathrooms are full of fecal matter spread upon toilets and the walls or always locked or shut down. I do understand the challenges of the location and population, but that is inconsiderate for people who wait for nearly 4 hours and drink fluids to draw blood. The guards are a hot mess and extremely unprofessional and can be confrontational with quiet people while catering to the semi hostile people (even another reviewer wrote this and it's true). Overall the people who try are the specialists drawing b
It's a really cool place until the rachet clients ruin some days for us other clients. The staff is great, they make sure they make the client comfortable and safe, great music as well and they serve crackers and Gatorade as well.
Great professional design and experience. They are very concise and clear with every easy stage of the process. Again, the staff is very professional and relatable. Help them help the cause , it's worth the win, win win for everyone involved.
Great customer service, friendly public people, always a smile and great conversation
The workers are really nice and polite. They're very clean. They play music the whole time so the atmosphere is pretty chill. Definitely coming back.
This place is dirtyyyyyyyy , the staff are nasty and have very bad attitudes ? they had doodling on the floor and took 20 minutes to clean it up , none of the bathrooms were working that they had to send us to another store to use them and there was a Spanish short girl with a piercing on her face who is disgusting and funny looking and don't know how to do her job !
I've seen a few reviews on here that mentioned quick. If you want quick this is not the donation center for you. You can take the hour train ride to Brooklyn and still make it all the way back to the Bronx and less time than it would take you to sit in the Bronx Center and donate. The Bronx Center is extremely unprofessional extremely ghetto. Waiting room is continually a mess with water cups and snack wrappers all over the place. Bathrooms are usually clean. Staff up front need to do a better job of mainta
This location is horrible do not go to this location especially after a work shift or already been on your feet all day they will have you waiting in line for an hour or 2 then make you wait more time and have ppl go ahead of you when you been waiting first in line for hours it's ridiculous everytime i go to this location it's a long wait you wait long to get in & wait long to get stuck with the needle to start. everything is slow you will be there for about 3-4 hours and the workers would just walk past u
It's a good location to donate , and I've been coming here for a while but I think I'm going to stop . I've been coming here for a while but I think I'm going to stop because of how poorly I'm treated , most of the techs talk to me like I'm a small child. It's very apparent that a lot of them think that just because you come to donate that you don't have a job or you're not educated. Personally, I have a job & I'm a few months away from obtaining my bachelors . I have no children & no other big financial r
Love the music n lately I be in n out the workers are cool
Very clean and fast paste environment. The staff is really helpful about explaining the process and how everything works. Easy way of making a lil extra money while potential saving someone?s life 10/10 would recommend. (I recommend to ask for juli)
Dawn was a amazing help today.... definitely looking forward to dealing with her again thx you
Excellent customer service and quick, the spot is clean and spotless, I prefer white plains then other locations ????????????
This place is so clean, Ken, the porter keeps the place is clean. All the workers are so pleasant and nice. 10/10
Great experience. I've been coming since they opened and everyone here does a great job. I never feel the needle when it goes in. I would definitely recommend people to come to this location
If I could rate this place a zero star If it would let me.. So first off I went in for a first time donation and it took almost 3 hours so I had to leave and come back the next morning the security guard in the look like he was on some sort of and he was letting multiple people cut the line we're just walking in. And now today on 9/15/23 I come back at 6:00 am and they are telling me they want to take a sample from me to test it. And I can't donate for 2 weeks till it comes back. Come to find out I am hav
Don't trust the text they send for extra money no one gets it. future reference don't send promos if your not going to give it, it's entrapment. Your making people wanna come more for no reason
EVERY TIME I COME TO THIS LOCATION, IT NEVER FAILS, TWO OR MORE INDIVIDUALS WHO STOOD BEHIND ME IN LINE HAVE BEEN SEATED, ALMOST FINISHED WITH THEIR DONATION AND I AM STILL WAITING TO DONATE. EVERY TIME I COME TO THIS LOCATION ITS THE SAME THING EVERY TIME. THIS REALLY MAKES ME WISH THERE WAS ANOTHER LOCATION TO DONATE. I HAVE THIS BAD EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME I COME TO THIS LOCATION!!!!! IF I HAD NOT WAITED SUCH A LONG TIME I WOULD HAVE LEFT. AND IT SEEMS LIKE I SHOULD DO JUST THAT THET LET A NEW EMPLOYEE
I had a good experience with Yoheidy at triasge. Very professional and friendly demeanor. Good job
Professional staff greet you at the front desk. Facility is clean, staff are friendly and attentive. Drew, Julie & Alexis have made my experience great.
Had a very pleasant experience with Alisha. She was friendly, fast and efficient.
I saw kids touching needles
My first donation was pretty painless. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and quick as the crowd would allow. They do a lot to make you feel at ease. This is my new center and I'll be back.
Front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. All the staff make you feel comfortable and at ease. Special shout of to Darwyn, Julissa ,Rayne and Auntie ( i think that's what her nickname is , the lovely lady with the grey braids). Quick and easy way to earn extra cash and help out those that need plasma.
Staff are respectable and takes care of clients as quickly as possible . Ensuring bed stations are clean for next donor .
It's a long process and they only have two beds. They tell you a hr when it's really 3 hrs waited most of the day and was denied because of blood pressure was a little high. Now you want to make it right but I can't get through to anyone what a scam.
They make it hard for ppl like me I've been trying to get extra money to feed my kids I give them an address and it's not good enough I don't understand why do I have to do all that to donate my blood to help someone out I've been going since December 11 2023 and all I've been getting is turned around and it's been hurting Kuz I'm traveling with my kids early in the morning
This place is not professionals at all. I can still taste the saline in my mouth when I eat, oh, when I'm not eating and it's been months since I haven't been over there they messed up my vein. this is not the way to make a Acp. That's why they put it in the communities where they put it at.
Came at 11:30 and left at 4pm. You WILL be here waiting for a while especially if it is your first time donating. Once i got to the chair it only took me 30min of donating. My nurse Shanice was very nice and cool vibe. Definitely coming back
The staff are professional and friendly. The music in the waiting room isn't bad either. They provide water and snacks. You also have the option to charge your device while you wait.
I love the experience I get paid as I leave from doing my duties. I just wish that I was paid today after my visit Because I was depending on it by putting all my eggs in one basket.
This place is great for donating plasma and a quick way to make a few bucks. The staff is very professional and nice and i personally want to give a shout out to Julissa/Julie, she is always careful with her job and her energy is always positive and uplifting. Thank You Olgam Life Plasma!
If you need money and can meet their requirements Oglam Life Plasma Donation is a great place to go. It takes less than an hour normally, And you are compensated immediately. Their centers are very well kept, all sanitary protocols are kept, and the staff is both professional and pleasant. I highly recommend Olgam Life Plasma Donation Centers.
They were very unprofessional very ghetto. Nasty attitudes especially at the front desk.
Crooks and con artists. Refused to give me my referral fee even though the person I referred visited their company and donated three times!
Great place beautiful people
Olgam here in Bronx is the best location. Easy procedure and accommodating, I was nervous but the staff is amazing, professional , great social skills and very comforting. Kevin A
I've been a few times. The staff is always super friendly & professional. The building is always clean & I'm always in & out in a timely manner.
Everytime I come here, it is something new and another excuse why you can't give blood. You will waste your time at this location. You'll be there hours just for them to find an excuse not to take you. The last time I was there, a woman tried sending me home because she couldn't get the machine to take my blood pressure. I asked her to get me someone else. That was not going to be the reason she send me home. They didn't even have manual. They are very lazy. If they can't find a vein the first time, they'l
I arrived at 840am. They open at 8am. When I arrived they said they were not taking anymore appointments for the day they are short staffed. Its important to help and donate but be mindful of your time. Only 40min after opening and they are at the days capacity. Smh
Good day. This is Eugenia Stevens. Me my brother Eugene Barnes and my son Arnesto Stevens love ?? the staff at the plasma place in The Bronx and Brooklyn. Thank u for the Staff. They are very carefully helpful and concern.
This is my first time and the staff and everyone made me feel so comfortable and my nurse that hook me up to the machine her name is Ms. Yolanda she was so wonderful and gentle and explain everything to me Thank you
Music is great staff is friendly
Roshanda is amazing and she always makes the process run smoothly, thx!
It's been good on my end ....just I referred 2 ppl who happened to b citizens w proper documents and were turnt down cause of language barrier, which seems very off to me or discriminating because there is bilingual staff from what I witnessed other then that they're pretty good I personally like G.G lol it's on her shield she is very fast and gentle when she works on me .
Staff well most of front t desk staff are nonchalant.. and misinformative. Well short with new donors. Most times there hiding while the line piles or until someone yells for service
The staff is super friendly and attentive. I also loved that the location is very clean and sterile. Couldn't have asked for a better first experience to donate!!!!
Very patient & considerate staff any questions I asked was answered to the best of they knowledge, The place was very & well kept. Will definitely be returning.
Professional staff and friendly Ashley, asha, roe,Simone, Shania, Bradley all very professional and courteous
Angie was great. Felt no pain at all. Real smooth
This would be last time I'm never ever coming back to this place it always something with this place.
Great experience ???? Wonderful staff. It's clean and comfortable ????
Ashley she was very nice and did a great job when sticking me
It's a very nice and quick way to get cash also Kayla Neverson is very good employee there she helps out a lot and is very gentle while doing a good job ?????
Leslie is a nice and amazing worker she doesn't hurt anyone with the needle .
Location is very convenient but the lines are long it's NYC so everyone and their mother is here.
Great and efficient staff. Easy way to make some quick cash. Everyone here is nice and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!
Ashley is the best phle in there always attentive to donor never leave them waiting for a DC 10 out of 10
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
