Customer Reviews

The staff her is amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and cool vibes. The lady at the front desk set the tone for the whole facility. Ms.Destiny is the center peace of the location. Her southern hospitality is unmatched. She will make being there comfortable and pleasent. This is a place you would love to come back to. 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend.

My experience here was amazing, very efficient, very smooth process and very clean atmosphere. The staff is Amazing very informative, organized, respectful, friendly, courteous, helpful, patience, pleasantly wonderful staff members. This was my first time here and I truly enjoy my time here tremendously!!!!!

Do not recommend anyone to donate at this center! I live in Queens so I thought why not go somewhere more convenient but I was stuck there for 4 hours just to donate and the staff move slower than my 85 year old mother in law, they act as if you're not in front of them waiting for their assistance while they converse with their coworkers. It's cool to have small talk but keep in mind that unprofessionalism goes a long way. Y?all gotta do better this is my first and last time going to this center, best of lu

5 stars only for one person - I've donated three years ago at the Fulton/Crown Heights location so it's been a while. I was there for two hours. Only giving 5 stars for Mario. Will ask for him when I go there for now on. He's very friendly and gentle and made sure I was okay every step through. I was very nervous as it was my first time in a while and as someone who's not fond of needles (I can deal with it though as I have tattoos lol I just hate when needles go deep into me compared to a tattoo needle). H

The staff were kind but the process of starting was painfully slow. As in, myself and another person also applying were there at 11:00am but weren't clear to donate until at least 3:00pm and staff were available. They were just chatting. We had to kick them into gear a few times. I know that new donors have to be processed but most of this time was wasted by standing around and waiting for a staff member to actually do something. Going back it takes an age to get to the intake desks and the sign in tablets

The front desk staff is exceptionally polite and thorough in their work. The entire team takes great pride in their roles and consistently delivers outstanding service.

Second every 1-star review. Tardiness, rudeness, no regard for the patients' time...etc. They are seriously understaffed in the early morning. Given how early they close up (2pm), I try to do the donation?early so I can go to work afterwards. You can get in at 6am. But people who give physical or draw blood start showing up after 6:30. Good luck if you need to resolve any issues because the front desk is unmanned most of the time. Even when someone is sitting there, only the supervisor (a Jewish guy) can ov

Wish I knew this was a thing years ago All them days I didn't have gas money, or food and needed a quick dollar, could?ve went here Idk why so many bad reviews, staff is cool just don't go late like any other place and you should be good, pays on spot

I've been coming here for a while now, and I've never had a bad experience yet. The staff is caring and careful. And I've read a lot of complaints in reviews. They're just not true. I've watched ppl be trained and do great, and senior staff is top-notch. I'll always come to this spot. I love Jamaica olgam, and Jamaica olgam loves us

Olgam Life Plasma Donation Center 162-11 Jamaica ave Jamacia Ny 11432 [Queens, New York , 11432] To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at your plasma donation center. My recent experiences at Olgam Life have been exceptionally frustrating and disappointing, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention. On three separate occasions, I visited your center with the intention of donating plasma, driven by a genuine desire to help th

The lady by the name Kat.Is an amazing employee to this establishment. She works fast and treats you and your time with care.

This location is by far the worst location from the slowness in everything they're doing like they don't wanna move n work to the rudeness to them taking HOURS TO PROCESS PAYMENTS .. I asked a question 3 times looking 3 staff in the face that were preparing other chairs with no people in them instead of plugging us 5 people in chairs up and NOBODY answered me. They just looked at me with a blank stare because I asked how many people do you have for staff because I have been sitting here in the chair for 20

I went to the Jamaica avenue facility on 2/14/25 around 12pm.The from desk receptionist told me that my proof of address was 3 months old and that she cannot allow me to donate. I was very unhappy because that was the second time going there. The first time she told me to bring proof of address which I did the next day.And she said that the proof of address has to be within 2 months. What really really is the right information???

horrible staff that doesn't care about the job they work , always have attitudes and careless energy towards anyone trying to donate especially if you seem to be struggling at all , me personally I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone at all and most of the time they will give you multiple issues at intake and excuses on why you aren't able to donate , definitely needs to be evaluated with the customer service and need more training for the nurses who stick doners as you will more than likely walk out

The people are very friendly and caring about your concerns and very helpful

The young lady who took my vitals isn't friendly or welcoming. Every time I have an interaction with her I have to compose myself from letting her have it. I don't if she looks down on the clients coming into Olgam or everyday is a bad day for her, but next time I come if I have to deal with her I'm going to request someone else. I don't know her name. She's a large light skin woman, with glasses and acne marks on her chin.

Olgam Jamaica experience was nice and pleasant visit. Staff treated me with respect and bandaged us properly.

Very little training. Super unprofessional staff who probably should not be in place of business where professionalism is needed because they are lacking in training, knowledge, communication skills, and cultural experiences. It could be due to cultural differences, but have never witnessed such unprofessionalism in a work environment before. Yes, know this is not your typical corporate office and that people come from varying backgrounds, but people should have the restraint and skills needed to conduct

Worse customer service. The employees seem to spend more time gossiping and talking amongst each other than tending to clients. The front desk is frequently unmanned and good luck trying to get a hold of someone over the phone - especially on the weekend. I recently called on Sunday to ask if it was busy and after third time, someone finally answered and told me, "I don't think we're busy. I'm not sure." How can they not be sure and say something like that to a client?! In addition, they only have one kiosk

This Place is AMAZING! Great customer service. They are Fast and efficient!

I believe everyone here are wonderful staff I mean they all get along from what I seen this make you wanna correct your own behavior lol nah they give you what you give them

Great Customer Service and everyone there is friendly and nice

A female staff member was extremely unprofessional. This staff member had an issue concerning personal hygiene. I took offense because of the way the worker addressed it to the patient. " Can you go home and take a shower you smell. " The majority of clients that come into the location happen to be Black ?? African American and male. The area Jamaica,Queens NY, is predominantly African American black people . The staff worker isn't. Not sure if she's.ignorant or predjuice probably both. She should have hand

The manager lady is fine shyt??

This place ain?t bad. A lot of reviews sound crazy. First of all WHYYYYY would you think you could bring a child in the plasma center, and who is going to babysit while you donate?common sense, common sense. Second if you are going to donate and you know that the center closes at 2 and if you do your proper research it CLEARLY states new donors can take up to 2 hours because of the screening process. It's not about them not treating new donors well it's about a personal priority to time management. I really

They will waste your time and give below the market rate. Very poorly run and unprofessional. They broke the tube and had to start all over again. Go somewhere else to donate! The person responding to reviews is a liar. Acting all nice to pretend like they want to fix the issues but did not return my email.

They're very unprofessional in there theres only two staff in there that seems to actually care about their jobs.. one time I came in with my child wasn't even looking to donate was just waiting for a friend && after already sitting in there for 30 minutes waiting with my toddler a girl with red hair came to me and rudely told me I had to go and that kids can't be in there which is reasonable cool but they have no customer service skills && she could?ve been nicer about it.. then when I did come to donate

Great place! I was nervous the first time I went but the staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It's a great way to make some extra money and help your local community. You're always greeted with a big smile and everyone is happy to be there, staff and clients alike Edit: I retract my 5 star review. Their new hours make it impossible to donate

Most of the staff I encountered are pleasant and friendly. The area is always clean and tidy. I feel welcome and comfortable going there. The phlebotomist makes me feel at ease because my veins are small and sometimes difficult to get the needle in. I would recommend the clinic anytime.

This is probably the most unprofessional place I've been to on Jamaica Ave. the staff sit around and act like they don't know what's going, there's no communication to any of the patients who come in or are new donors. They do not have any consideration for anyone?s time and know very little about their own establishment. I arrive at the Jamaica location as a returning donor, I haven't been in about 3 years. This is a new location that opened up this year, I visited the one on Fulton street in Brooklyn befo

The place is clean , but the staff are extremely unprofessional. Not all, but most. Within 30 minutes of arriving, you can hear staff cursing and gossiping like crazy and blasting their individual music. The music is so loud, it couldn't even be drowned by my headphones. The space is supposed to be a calm environment for donors. Instead, it's a party vibe. I had so much anxiety. Not one moment did the staff think maybe I should act like I'm at work. I hope changes are made. It looked like their manager

The ladies in the front are so slow and seem to have a major attitude problem. They act like they do not want to be there. Waited almost a half hour for intake and they were not busy at all. Hate dealing with the ladies in the front they do not make your experience here pleasant. They need to train them with better customer service.

I went in on 4/18 and no one was at the front desk and clients were waiting patiently. You could hear the laughter and conversations from the staff in the lobby. I left once I saw a medical delivery worker say ?hello? multiple times at the front desk yet no staff responded. I had to wait 20 minutes and some clients were waiting longer! Also, this company has a fake advertisement offering $60 the first time vs $70 advertised, meaning you can't earn $500 monthly. I'm glad I chose not to donate at this locatio

Brandon, is a phlebotomist from the Fulton St location who should be teaching a masterclass. His technique is absolutely painless and quick. I am terrified on needles but I'm so much calmer because of him If he's not already a trainer, he needs to be and should be rewarded for his diligent work.

For my first time donating I was unsure however, Ms. Lorraine at front desk was helpful in educating me of the step by step process. Her warmth and professionalism aided in calming my nerves and made me feel very comfortable. When it came to the donating Ms. Lisa the phlebotomist took her time and continuously checked up on me from start to finish. After such wonderful experience, I'll definitely continue my visits at this Olgam Life, especially when the staff is this nice and helpful. Definitely recommend

The first red flag is how Clean the place. The they must rack up complaints and don't wanna get caught slipping with the attention THEY get for not doing their job. I walked out the place nobody wanted to do my intake they were too busy talking to themselves. Than to help. Oh well . You've been warned to go to this place.

It seems as if their system breaks down every week. And they never have any idea when it will be fixed. It does not make the business look good for that to keep being a issue. You have people that come as early as 6:30 to stand there for 2 hours just to get told the system is down...you guys gotta do better

I had to take the star away because it seems that over his past year of donating, there seems to be changes that are hindering this location and its reputation that I have personally observed. Staff is very pleasant towards me and have made my donating experience as stress free as possible. So there are no complaints with the staff for me personally?other than being short staffed too often as of late. Any issues or concerns I have had were immediately addressed. Staff also went above and beyond, for me pers

Honestly Monday was my first day I had a decent experience now today I went for the second time and honestly the location made me feel like I don't wanna go back there. The female staff in the front all have an attitude situation ? the staff in the back joke around a little to much sweetly I'm tryna get in and out of that chair as fast as possible but with the chit chat they be having at the corner boy I almost pissed on my self . Sad to say this is my 3rd location I've gone to and I promise I don't wanna g

Clean, efficient, straightforward. New donors plan for a few hours visit.

It's great having a location in Queens closer to me. When I first donating with Olgam I had to travel all the way to Brooklyn. Glad that the company is doing well enough to get more locations throughout the boroughs. Donating helps cover all the rising costs. Update: with the new shortened hours I can now only donate once a week. Unfortunately that one day (Sunday) never seems able to be staffed.

The staff is very nice and professional. If you are interested in something like this, please don't be afraid to come to this location. They will take good care of you.

Olgam Jamaica experience was nice and pleasant visit. Staff treated me with respect and priority

Within my own personal experience this facility has very respectful staff members. The best employee in my opinion is Ms. Bobbie-Ann. Very clean place but around noon it gets very busy. Takes long for people to come in and out for donations.

Lisa Lisa Lisa She know who she is. Honestly the way I seen her drop everything in a heartbeat for someone passing out. Makes me feel all so comfortable to do this on a regular. The staff that worked on nov 1st. You guys are awesome. True meaning of teamwork.

Start times are ambiguous. Could be 6AM, 630AM, 7AM .Depends when staff feel like showing up to work. Always low on staff making waiting times for donors longer than it needs to be. Hours are horrible as it makes hard for people to donate within the hours of Operation. Overall place is in need of new management and staff

Staff here is extremely amazing and friendly, they make sure that your well taken care of an issues they are quick to fix itv. Never really any long waits so you're in and out . Definitely prefer this one as opposed to the one in brooklyn . It's very clean and honestly in the cut so if you don't want anyone to know your donating you have nothing to worry about ! My favorite people to go to is Nelisa she is the best & TJ is dope too he makes the screening process really smooth !!!

Olgam say that I am a infectious agent.Im poisoned they think

Ive been donating here for about a month now and it has been a good experience so far. The only complaint I have is that everyone gets their finger pricked before they donate and then they have to pump a USED ball that other people probably bled on from their pricked finger?that is so unsanitary. They are cheap balls and with all the money they make from selling our plasma why can't everyone get a new clean ball to pump so they won't have to be exposed to other peoples blood?

Tatiana and the rest of the staff were amazing. Quick, efficient, courteous. Will definitely be back!

Miss jaz and miss Michelle are very great worker, very Professional outstanding workers. They make you feel very comfortable. And safe........ I feel safer and comfortable when they are at work...

This place is very professional and great with everything they do! I saw Jas today and she was absolutely great. Make sure yall go see her or anybody else there cause they will treat you right in there!

I had came here about two times. This time that I came on 8/31, I forgot her name who took care of the plasma donation process itself, but first time i went she was very nice to me. 2nd time, I went, she had an attitude I am not sure if she had a bad day at work. I'm pressing down on my wound yet she tells me to hold it down which I am? Then gets mad that I removed it because I couldn't hear what she's saying. She roughly removed the plasma container and some of the liquid fell on my arm and didn't even apo

The staff is so nice and welcoming. I have iron issues and I was hesitant to continue to donate but the nurse reassured me how to get my iron levels up and ever since then I never struggled to donated plasma again. Very thankful to have this as an extra source of income ???????

First time going and I had to wait over 30mins to get started the girls in the front are on they phone not greeting people as they come in or even notifying us that there is a wait due to short staff. Also the machines are down and they wait til the last minute to notify you. So I waited 30min just to be told the system is down very unprofessional.

Ok...so I was being generous with my rating initially because I genuinely do like a few people there but this place is so disorganized for one and don't even get me started on some of the phlebotomist in the back. Since coming there it seems to be always something that prevents my donations from being seamless. Apparently there is a donor with the last 4 digits of the social as me..she's very obviously older than me and has a different name yet everytime I check in this situation either holds up my donation

Very welcoming staff, haven't had a negative experience in the time i?ve been here ????

Lorraine and Jaz are amazing. This site is always pleasant and clean. I highly recommend everyone to come here. The staff is well trained and friendly

Bianca is the best screener in the whole entire world! She's a sweet heart and so Is Lorraine. The are both very pleasant and patient. This is one of the best centers so far!

The staff on Jamaica Avenue is disgusting especially the supervisor. Just left and I was discriminated against. I will be reporting this location to the Health Commisioner and the news... no equality, empathy or customer service.

One of the lower classed ones......most of the staff don't want to be there all have attitudes and purposely don't do their jobs. Go to another location before considering this one. They should actually be ashamed of their selves in comparison to the other locations.

The staff here is warm and welcoming. They are quick and efficient always with a smile on their face which allows for a very welcoming environment

I have been donating at this center for sometime now. The staff has always been kind polite and professional. They make you feel at ease and have answered any questions I have had. I highly recommend Oglam life and especially the Jamaica Avene location if you choose to donate Plasma.

Very nice staff and facility. They are organized and make you feel very comfortable there. I highly recommend this location!

Had a great experience with bianca the screener was very nice and on point with explaining the step of the process and tray I think her name was the one that set me up was nice and found my vien quick nice easy process nice place.

The staff here is very friendly, they always greet me with a smile as I enter. And they always remember me which makes me feel super comfortable.

Great service; the staff is friendly and professional. Doesn't take too long. Highly recommend this location if your considering donating.

First time donating was a breeze. Very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. They guided me through the entire process quickly and professionally. Despite the temporary appearance this is an excellent place to donate and will visit again.

Don't go to the one one Jamaica Ave. Staff Ido not know how to show donors respect They talk to donors as if they are beneath. they think because you are a donor Their thinking is donors are beneath them and treat donors accordingly. And donors don't oppose or object to this unprofessional ,because of the incentive No incentive worthy enough for me to be treated unworthy of respect and dignity for. Any one thinking of of going there on Jamaica Ave. If you don't mind being talked to like there are better

Very clean, workers are very nice and patient. Definitely recommend coming here if you need a little extra cash.

The staff is amazing. I recommend this location to all acquaintances I interact with.

A COMPLETE waste of time. They wasted my time TWICE. I will NEVER be going back there EVER again!!!! They told me it was a 2-3 hour wait and turned me away, but took people that went in after me.They are UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars

Very friendly staff and made me feel very comfortable and calm. I'm definitely going back again my first time going was very pleasant ??

The Service is Great.??

Once again, the administration staff showed up at Jamaica Center Olgham Life...but the phlebotomists who "stick" you do you can donate life-saving plasma ALL CALLED out! So, every single donator was turned away. What a waste of our time and money, and what callous disrespect for both donors and those who need donations! Lamentable!

The facility is very clean and the staff is professional, they answered all my questions. Sundays are busy so I suggest coming in early, and they also have a $50 offer for referring a friend

This place is awesome. Everybody there is pleasant and get the job done. Very clean and spacious.

First-time donor experience If you're a first-time donor, you'll be happy to know that the staff at Olgam Life Plasma Donation Center in Jamaica Queens are friendly, professional, caring, and committed to making your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. They'll walk you through the entire process, from answering any questions you have to provide you with snacks and drinks to keep your energy levels up. **Donation process** Donating plasma is similar to donating blood, but it takes a bit long

The staff here is very professional. They go out of their way to make sure my donation experience is a pleasant one.

Every time I come to to this place the workers are friendly and I always feel safe being here I come every week no problems.

Someone should tell 90 percent of the front office people to show a little courtesy when clients walk in. It's seems they do everything they can to avoid eye contact when you arrive.

Clean and friendly environment. Staff is phenomenal. From the front desk to the phlebotomist. I love it here. Highly recommended.

The place seemed nice but i never made it past the counter...Because of my living situation i could not donate...they should advertise who can and can not donate

Wonderful place get along with the workers And there understanding in their own ways Lisa being one of them ????

I've had a great experience so far with olgam life , the money always comes on the same day , the process is simple & the workers are always in great spirits .

Great management, Lisa is super nice professional and nice the manager she really cares about the patient Trey and Lisa are the best !!!! I will recommend it ????

I'm a returning donor and the staff is always nice and professional, they always answer any questions I might have, clean environment, great experience overall!

Nice and calm place. Staff is very respectful and courteous. They move at a good pace.

I don't know what happened but the staff seem to have grown an attitude problem the last few weeks . The center is just going downhill. Hopefully they will replace some of them.

Whenever I'm free, I visit this location. I love the staff, and I feel safe allowing them to draw plasma.

They have great and friendly staff. I enjoy coming here, and even invited a friend.

Makiah gave great customer service w a smile

Dehumanizing and humiliating from start to finish with rude employees...

They made the process so smooth and comfortable answered all my questions and I felt like I really contributed.

So far everyone at this facility has been super friendly. When I have a question the give me friendly answers

The place is clean da staff r friendly n there's really never a lot of ppl waiting...

Very clean polite workers barely any crowded days definitely the best one in the city

Joann is very sweet professional and to the point!

Be careful with going here. Most of them are really not trained. I ended Up in the ER after she hit my nerve and was in severe pain.

Curtious professionals, quick usually I'm in and out! Pleasant environment, love the relaxing music!

It's a good way to help people and earn some money, their workers very professional and work ethic.

Very good place nice stuff make you feel comfortable

The workers are lazy come before 11 this place is only good if you go early the morning staff is the best

One of the workers was arguing with me because of them something I have anything to do it he even tried to fight me I asked for a manager did no one give me a manager worst place ever

I was treat very nice by staff they show care and concern. They also very helpful.

Staff is bool they make the experience way better and they work fast to get you in and out

Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.

How can you donate plasma quickly?

Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
