The staff her is amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and cool vibes. The lady at the front desk set the tone for the whole facility. Ms.Destiny is the center peace of the location. Her southern hospitality is unmatched. She will make being there comfortable and pleasent. This is a place you would love to come back to. 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend.
My experience here was amazing, very efficient, very smooth process and very clean atmosphere. Do not recommend anyone to donate at this center! I live in Queens so I thought why not go somewhere more convenient but I was stuck there for 4 hours just to donate and the staff move slower than my 85 year old mother in law, they act as if you're not in front of them waiting for their assistance while they converse with their coworkers. 5 stars only for one person - I've donated three years ago at the Fulton/Crown Heights location so it's been a while. I was there for two hours. Only giving 5 stars for Mario. Will ask for him when I go there for now on. He's very friendly and gentle and made sure I was okay every step through. I was very nervous as it was my first time in a while and as someone who's not fond of needles (I can deal with it though as I have tattoos lol I just hate when needles go deep into me compared to a tattoo needle). The staff were kind but the process of starting was painfully slow. As in, myself and another person also applying were there at 11:00am but weren't clear to donate until at least 3:00pm and staff were available. They were just chatting. We had to kick them into gear a few times. I know that new donors have to be processed but most of this time was wasted by standing around and waiting for a staff member to actually do something. Going back it takes an age to get to the intake desks and the sign in tablets
The front desk staff is exceptionally polite and thorough in their work. The entire team takes great pride in their roles and consistently delivers outstanding service.
Second every 1-star review. Tardiness, rudeness, no regard for the patients' time...etc. They are seriously understaffed in the early morning. Given how early they close up (2pm), I try to do the donation?early so I can go to work afterwards. You can get in at 6am. But people who give physical or draw blood start showing up after 6:30. This location is by far the worst location from the slowness in everything they're doing like they don't wanna move n work to the rudeness to them taking HOURS TO PROCESS PAYMENTS .. I asked a question 3 times looking 3 staff in the face that were preparing other chairs with no people in them instead of plugging us 5 people in chairs up and NOBODY answered me. I went to the Jamaica avenue facility on 2/14/25 around 12pm.The from desk receptionist told me that my proof of address was 3 months old and that she cannot allow me to donate. I was very unhappy because that was the second time going there.The first time she told me to bring proof of address which I did the next day.And she said that the proof of address has to be within 2 months.What really really is the right information???
horrible staff that doesn't care about the job they work , always have attitudes and careless energy towards anyone trying to donate especially if you seem to be struggling at all , me personally I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone at all and most of the time they will give you multiple issues at intake and excuses on why you aren't able to donate , definitely needs to be evaluated with the customer service and need more training for the nurses who stick doners as you will more than likely walk out

The young lady who took my vitals isn't friendly or welcoming. Every time I have an interaction with her I have to compose myself from letting her have it. I don't if she looks down on the clients coming into Olgam or everyday is a bad day for her, but next time I come if I have to deal with her I'm going to request someone else. I don't know her name. She's a large light skin woman,with glasses and acne marks on her chin.

Worse customer service. The employees seem to spend more time gossiping and talking amongst each other than tending to clients. The front desk is frequently unmanned and good luck trying to get a hold of someone over the phone - especially on the weekend. I recently called on Sunday to ask if it was busy and after third time, someone finally answered and told me, "I don't think we're busy. I'm not sure." This place ain?t bad. A lot of reviews sound crazy. First of all WHYYYYY would you think you could bring a child in the plasma center, and who is going to babysit while you donate?common sense, common sense. Second if you are going to donate and you know that the center closes at 2 and if you do your proper research it CLEARLY states new donors can take up to 2 hours because of the screening process. Great place! I was nervous the first time I went but the staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It's a great way to make some extra money and help your local community. Most of the staff I encountered are pleasant and friendly. The area is always clean and tidy. I feel welcome and comfortable going there. The phlebotomist makes me feel at ease because my veins are small and sometimes difficult to get the needle in. I would recommend the clinic anytime.

The place is clean , but the staff are extremely unprofessional. Not all, but most. Within 30 minutes of arriving, you can hear staff cursing and gossiping like crazy and blasting their individual music. The music is so loud, it couldn't even be drowned by my headphones. The space is supposed to be a calm environment for donors. Instead, it's a party vibe. I had so much anxiety. Not one moment did the staff think maybe I should act like I'm at work. The ladies in the front are so slow and seem to have a major attitude problem. They act like they do not want to be there. Waited almost a half hour for intake and they were not busy at all. Hate dealing with the ladies in the front they do not make your experience here pleasant. They need to train them with better customer service.
I went in on 4/18 and no one was at the front desk and clients were waiting patiently. You could hear the laughter and conversations from the staff in the lobby. I left once I saw a medical delivery worker say ?hello? multiple times at the front desk yet no staff responded. I had to wait 20 minutes and some clients were waiting longer! Also, this company has a fake advertisement offering $60 the first time vs $70 advertised, meaning you can't earn $500 monthly. I'm glad I chose not to donate at this locatio
Brandon, is a phlebotomist from the Fulton St location who should be teaching a masterclass. His technique is absolutely painless and quick. I am terrified on needles but I'm so much calmer because of him If he's not already a trainer, he needs to be and should be rewarded for his diligent work.
For my first time donating I was unsure however, Ms. Lorraine at front desk was helpful in educating me of the step by step process. Her warmth and professionalism aided in calming my nerves and made me feel very comfortable. When it came to the donating Ms. Lisa the phlebotomist took her time and continuously checked up on me from start to finish. After such wonderful experience, I'll definitely continue my visits at this Olgam Life, especially when the staff is this nice and helpful. Definitely recommend
The first red flag is how Clean the place. The they must rack up complaints and don't wanna get caught slipping with the attention THEY get for not doing their job. I walked out the place nobody wanted to do my intake they were too busy talking to themselves. Than to help. Oh well . You've been warned to go to this place.

It's great having a location in Queens closer to me. When I first donating with Olgam I had to travel all the way to Brooklyn. Glad that the company is doing well enough to get more locations throughout the boroughs. Donating helps cover all the rising costs. Update: with the new shortened hours I can now only donate once a week. Unfortunately that one day (Sunday) never seems able to be staffed.
The staff is very nice and professional. If you are interested in something like this, please don't be afraid to come to this location. They will take good care of you.

Start times are ambiguous. Could be 6AM, 630AM, 7AM .Depends when staff feel like showing up to work. Always low on staff making waiting times for donors longer than it needs to be. Hours are horrible as it makes hard for people to donate within the hours of Operation. Overall place is in need of new management and staff
Staff here is extremely amazing and friendly, they make sure that your well taken care of an issues they are quick to fix itv. Never really any long waits so you're in and out . Definitely prefer this one as opposed to the one in brooklyn . It's very clean and honestly in the cut so if you don't want anyone to know your donating you have nothing to worry about ! My favorite people to go to is Nelisa she is the best & TJ is dope too he makes the screening process really smooth !!!

Ive been donating here for about a month now and it has been a good experience so far. The only complaint I have is that everyone gets their finger pricked before they donate and then they have to pump a USED ball that other people probably bled on from their pricked finger?that is so unsanitary. They are cheap balls and with all the money they make from selling our plasma why can't everyone get a new clean ball to pump so they won't have to be exposed to other peoples blood?

I had came here about two times. This time that I came on 8/31, I forgot her name who took care of the plasma donation process itself, but first time i went she was very nice to me. 2nd time, I went, she had an attitude I am not sure if she had a bad day at work. I'm pressing down on my wound yet she tells me to hold it down which I am? Then gets mad that I removed it because I couldn't hear what she's saying. She roughly removed the plasma container and some of the liquid fell on my arm and didn't even apo
The staff is so nice and welcoming. I have iron issues and I was hesitant to continue to donate but the nurse reassured me how to get my iron levels up and ever since then I never struggled to donated plasma again. Very thankful to have this as an extra source of income ???????
First time going and I had to wait over 30mins to get started the girls in the front are on they phone not greeting people as they come in or even notifying us that there is a wait due to short staff. Also the machines are down and they wait til the last minute to notify you. So I waited 30min just to be told the system is down very unprofessional.
Ok...so I was being generous with my rating initially because I genuinely do like a few people there but this place is so disorganized for one and don't even get me started on some of the phlebotomist in the back. Since coming there it seems to be always something that prevents my donations from being seamless. Apparently there is a donor with the last 4 digits of the social as me..she's very obviously older than me and has a different name yet everytime I check in this situation either holds up my donation

The staff on Jamaica Avenue is disgusting especially the supervisor. Just left and I was discriminated against. I will be reporting this location to the Health Commisioner and the news... no equality, empathy or customer service.
One of the lower classed ones......most of the staff don't want to be there all have attitudes and purposely don't do their jobs. Go to another location before considering this one. They should actually be ashamed of their selves in comparison to the other locations.

Once again, the administration staff showed up at Jamaica Center Olgham Life...but the phlebotomists who "stick" you do you can donate life-saving plasma ALL CALLED out! So, every single donator was turned away. What a waste of our time and money, and what callous disrespect for both donors and those who need donations! Lamentable!
The facility is very clean and the staff is professional, they answered all my questions. Sundays are busy so I suggest coming in early, and they also have a $50 offer for referring a friend
