The only time I didn't have a bad experience was when one of the techs stuck me. She was good. Everything else was below 1 star. The time consuming was too much. They are slow at everything they do. As a new donor, my appointment was at 1:15 and I didn't get called to do the physical til around 2:30. Then waiting in line to get my vitals and everything took another 20 minutes. Then after I donate, I received a received my donor payment debit card and it's a defective debit card. Now for them to correct the

The staff is extremely friendly, nice and professional. Never an issue with the donation process itself. But it's extremely understaffed. Once I waited 45 minutes after already sitting in the bed before I was able to donate. That was after I waited in line for an hour. The recent appointment I had to walk out after sitting for 15 minutes in the bed. I also waited an hour in the line. There was only 6 people ahead of me in line. It's really not worth the drive there, taking 3 hours out of the day for what th

I would like to start out by saying I hope everyone is having a blessed day. I am a new donor at the Douglasville location. I've donated about 4x as of today. On my last visit which was last Tuesday they drew blood. No, one communicated to me as to why.. By the time I could ask any questions the blood was drawn and the plasma machine was running. I thought no more about it? Writing it off as just standard procedure. My next donation day which was that Friday, I show up bright and early. I think I had to be

They need to do better with their timing. I understand being short staffed, but if I honor my appointment it shouldn't take two hours before I am even getting a bed. And there weren't even that many people in there. It's 12:00 noon. My donation appointment was at 9:45 am. I still have not been injected with needle. I feel I won't get out of here until almost 2 pm. This is ridiculous. People should be in here 2 hours max.

The first visit took 4.25 hours. Then they flagged me because i couldn't stay any longer. That caused the next visit to be over 3 hours. The third visit the tech had so much trouble she bruised up both arms. She said the blood in the line started to clot when she tried to switch arms. Four days later when I went again, they had me wait over an hour to see someone about the bruises on my arm. That lady said they were healed, but looked bad because of the bruising. So they finally take me back to the blood dr

The process can be lengthy at your first visit (as expected), but the ladies are all so nice and helpful. I really appreciate the thoroughness throughout the process, the ladies explained everything to me in detail. I want to say Jasmine specifically is amazing and so sweet! She helped me my first time and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. I will be returning!

I sat on the bed for over 30 minutes after completing because the nurses wanted to giggle and be catty . I expressed multiple i had to go to work and no one did anything to get me unhooked. On top of having to wait almost 45 minutes to be seen, this just made it worse. My donation time in total was only 36 minutes. I shouldn't have been here this long dealing with such an unprofessional staff. I don't recommend coming here. Go somewhere else. I definitely will be in 6 months once I'm able to transfer .

Appointment was at 10:45 had me waiting a lil bit then was Called up and Got thru the Process quickly as It was My First time and Not many People here. Overall Staff is Friendly and Respectful, Very we'll explained/informed and Could Not Been any happier. Definitely recommend to anyone who is Looking to Make Extra $$$ and Help others out. Again I was Extremely happy With everything and Also The Music was Great. It does take a Little long Ofcourse cause it's all a Process and Depends on how Many people/patie

The staff was so helpful and friendly and you knew your safety and health mattered! My experience physically when donating plasma wasn't the best, but they took good care of me and made sure I was good before I left. They were kind and did all they could for me the whole time.

Extremely professional and friendly staff. Jasmine and Terry were awesome in making my first donation smooth and painless! Come make some extra money and serve a good cause at Biolife! -Chris

Staff is great, place is clean, but it takes a long time from the time of your appointment to the time you donate. It can take 1 hr before you are seated to donate. And while you are in the chair it can take 20 min before you are connected, to then be 1 hr donating.

As a new donor I walked in not knowing what to expect. I was greeted and made to feel welcome. I noticed there was process everyone knew. After my first donation I understood the why behind everything. I can take pride in knowing my donation is going to help others.

I'm here to share my experience that I had today on 5-6-25... I came in for my scheduled donation at 10:35am. Got my finger pricked around 10:40. When the nurse got done pricking my finger she proceeded to throw the gauze on me as if to be rude. I grabbed the gauze off of my arm (8 inches away from the actual wound) dabbed my blood with it and tossed it back on the counter. She then was mad and said "NO, you have to hold it on the wound " I then said we'll how bout not throw the gauze at me you can hand

Very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff! Very clean and comfortable at this facility and in its atmosphere! I love that I get to see how my plasma is used and how many patients it is helping!

My first time around going last year was different . People were nicer and more patient. Im not sure about this staff. Could be the day I went , i doubt that I will go back. I have bruising all over my arms , and water or not , this NEVER happened 6 months ago when I went. I received a coupon for$750 a good donation reup so I decided to go. That was a mistake. The Jasmine ( i think thats her name) gave me a hematoma because she was too scared to use the left arm , yet the manager came over and found the

Do not waste your time donating here unless you plan on staying an abysmal amount of unprecedented time. The donation center is extremely understaffed and incapable of retaining workers meaning you can schedule an appointment and have to wait upwards of 3-5 hours regardless of doing so. My recommendation is to go to another donation center and avoid this location altogether. It is not worth the time they will waste it you're better off driving elsewhere. Don't say you weren't warned when you go in to donate

Very poor experience at the Douglasville Bio Plasma center. I had a 9:30 AM appointment for a Physical with Donation but waited over 3 hours because the nurses were in a meeting! No updates, no real apology, just water and goldfish. A nurse even giggled about the long wait. I couldn't even donate due to new medication, and no compensation was offered for my wasted time. It's unacceptable for an entire nursing staff to be in a meeting while donors are left waiting. Aside from that, when I was with the nurse

Staff is friendly and gentle. Building is clean and well kept. The line can get excessive but they cannot control how fast someone bleeds and I would rather my phlebotomist be gentle than be in a rush.

The wait line to set in crazy long. I waited for over 50 minutes more then once waiting. If you want to get in and out quick. This is not the place to go. They overbook people at the speed they move. So disappointed in the management. Also the internet says it is busy. The reason they are busy is the are slow and have only 2 people running the whole back. Way under staffed. It is sad.

Friendly staff but extremely slow. It takes minimum 3 hrs in this place. Mostly waiting around while they take their time to service you. Under staffed and honestly waste a lot of time when you're doing this to help other people. Corporate should definitely do better at this location because a lot of people come here and everyone is complaining. Do better

My first experience was a breeze. The staff was very informative and explain the process to me! Jazmine & Tia was very careful taking the needle injection and removal. Pain was 0/10 and I hate needles!

Visited the BioLab facility on Chappel Hill in Douglasville at the recommendation of a friend. The initial wait time once I arrived to be called to begin the process was a bit long , but the process moved quickly from that point on. Ms. Diamond was outstanding and exhibited exceptional beside service and care. As a new donor, she was patient in explaining the process and that made me feel very at ease!

DO NOT DONATE HERE. This center is unorganized, short staffed and won't even answer their phones. If you do decide to come here, your ENTIRE day will be taken from you. These people have no sense of urgency, and due to the fact that they have to be here for 8hrs per day, they won't respect your time. I have visited other donation centers in the past, but this is the WORST. I will be filing a complaint and contacting the BBB.

This makes the 3rd time now that I have had a bad experience. 4+ hrs total time is ridiculous. I waited over 2 1/2 hrs just from my initial check in for blood pressure, temperature, and plasma test, to get to a chair to get hooked up. The staff is amazing, however, the Douglasville, Ga location is grossly understaffed. 2 sections open, and only 2 techs hooking and unhooking donors makes it not worth the money that's paid per donation. There was a line of about 25 people waiting. Also, it's ridiculous to bri

I have been going here for about 4 months or more. I will say the people here has the best people skills. The place is clean and constantly busy with kind people. I do recommend people to come here.

I set my appointment in the morning 2 1/2 hours before I had to be at work and had to leave without donating because they were under staffed and it was gonna take at least 3 if not more hours to complete the donation. At one time there were 20 people waiting to be sat. The check in staff were doing well. Not pointing at any of the employees, I just think a couple more people would have made the difference.

Go anywhere but here. I arrived 45 minutes before my appointment just to wait almost an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment to be called. I don't know if they are understaffed but the staff they do have is careless. When i finally got to the second station where they took my blood pressure the lady literally stopped mid sentence to reply to a text. She took my blood sample, rushing through it, then got called over the radio and ran off in the middle of helping me. Two minutes later another girl came and tol

Great staff, Jasmine is the sweetest!! Wait wasn't too long for new donors. In and out and got my donor fees just fine (:

Staff is amazing. Very friendly. The only knock is the lack of staff and long wait times. Recently donated plasma and it took almost 4 hours from time I walked in till I walked out. That 2 hrs and 15 minutes was just waiting in line to get a seat and then another 40 minutes in seat just waiting to be hooked up. Wait times just gets longer and longer

I'm aware the employees do this everyday and even befriend some donors. However, when there is hardly anyone there and the employees are chatting with each other or donors, while I sat next to my machine for 30 minutes before I received a needle, it's a bit frustrating. Please just be more courteous and considerate when you have folks waiting. I came later in the day to avoid the morning rush, only to have it take longer.

BioLife Douglasville is the best all the staff are very nice and extremely helpful they make donating very easy and very comfortable I went around 12:00pm haven't been there in 2years and they made it very easy for me to get back in the swing of things. The staff that work that shift are excellent while I was donating I didn't feel any pain when the needle was in my arm it was actually to comfortable I could have fell asleep lol thanks ladies!

One of the screeners was very unprofessional to me. Raising her voice from across telling me she didn't know anything bc she's not a nurse and all I asked was why I had to see a nurse bc I didn't even start the screening questionnaire. I was a returning donor so I seen a nurse not even two weeks ago. Every donation has been fine. I've been waiting for over 20 mins to see a nurse for no reason and it takes FOREVER to donate here. It use to be so quick and easy back in 2016 but now it's not.

Jasmaine and Karla are the best! They take such diligent care of each patient and go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and safe.

Doesn't matter what time you come in these nurses are lazy and make you wait 6hrs before you even get the blood process started. They are not professional . These people in the photos have been in line since 9am

My appointment was for 9:30 AM and I didn't get finished until 1 PM. They have very few areas open and the wait times are well over 2 hours or longer for everyone coming in.

I got there at 8:00 am and didn't leave till nearly 1:00 in the afternoon! this place is so slow I see more people talking than working hard to tell if a manager around. I hate how they treat people that need a little extra cash and to be honest I feel like it's done on purpose so you'll get frustrated and leave. you end up wasting your whole day coming here don't waste your time I will never return here it's not worth it!

I decided this year 2025 I would donate plasma and I chose the Douglasville location. From the beginning Mary, RN has always been super helpful and kind and always willing to answer any questions I may have. The ladies that tend to vital signs stations have always been kind and helpful as well. Shoutout to Sam, keep smiling. For phlebotomist: Tai, Brenden, Diamond, and Site Manager Tabitha are all were so kind to me every single time I ever went and always had a smile on their faces. No matter the line of d

Of course when you have a good donation center everyone wants to go go there, so there's gunna be some days with lonngggg waits but the staff AMAZING , the benefits and deals even better! Definitely recommend others to come just not on the days I wanna go ??

Long time donor here but I've not left a review yet. Lately things have been really great. Plenty of chairs due to staffing improvements that gets you in and out. Sarai set me up today and she is always efficient and quick. I also need to recognize the friendliness and diligence of Fee, Brendon, and Trevor. Cecilia is ever present and hard working. A great team is shaping up these days.

Don't go to this location unless you can block out 3-4 hours of your time. The staff doesn't care about you or your time. The last time I went, a guy was walking around leaking blood behind him, and the staff couldn't find proper cleaning products to clean it. A guy had exceeded his visits for the week, but they let him give blood anyway when he said, "Someone must be using my name." They got a manager to sign him in.

Absolutely amazing people. I've never had any issues here. They are always professional and sweet. And the facilities are clean.

I took my proof of residence, the water bill, electric bill, and my ID along with my Social Security card. I was able to donate the very first time. The second time I went in they would not allow me to donate because they said I didn't provide feasible proof of my Residence. The lady told me that the electric bill and water bill was not enough proof that's what the website requires of your utility bill ID Social Security card which I provided every time I went in by the way. So I rescheduled brought all tha

The on-site staff are generally great, with one exception: there is one nurse who has been consistently rude and unprofessional. Additionally, corporate rarely responds or addresses questions or concerns submitted through their website, which has been disappointing. However, I've been donating here for a long time, and the early morning hours are convenient and less crowded. It's rewarding to know that my donations help others, while also providing some extra income for my family. Despite a few challenges,

My experience was good but the atmosphere was very cool. If they can provide paper blankets, it will be useful.

This place is very very slow the people who work there a young and have 0 sense of urgency. They'll be 3 people donating and 10 people standing in line for over an hour. They walk slow, put their gloves on slow just idiots!!

Never again I was in pain 7 days later I'm still black and blue . Arm is swelled up missed 2 days of work . Went to piedmont urgent care . Now going to emergency room!

Due to faulty equipment lost out on a weekly bonus. Even though spent over 2 hours and 2 finger pricks. Was told would be compensated due to no fault of my own. Needless to say never heard back from manager after several attempts to contact.

I am absolutely appalled by how rude and disrespectful the staff is! I came in to donate plasma?something that takes time, effort, and a willingness to help others?and was met with nothing but hostility, indifference, and a complete lack of basic courtesy. It feels like the staff has forgotten they are dealing with real human beings who are doing something good and selfless. This is no way to treat plasma donors! It's unacceptable and outrageous. I truly hope management takes notice of how their team is beh

A turtle has more sense of urgency than the people who work here. If you go to this location I suggest you don't skip it all together. The employees are lazy and SLOW. But if you do end up going be prepared to spend more then half your day here. Pathetic

From the time I sat down in the curvy chair to the time they actually stuck the needle in my arm was 48 minutes It's a nicer clean facility, but it's way understaffed

The place is nice but the wait time for your appointment and when u actually get a chair and plugged up is ridiculous. I had appointment at 2 I was there at 150pm and I left at 5 something. The place needs help with employees or something

Let me start by saying yes, the facility is clean, payout is not so great, but workable, the one thing they need to work on at this Douglasville location is time management, I had an appointment at 10:30am and did not leave until 4pm and I was only 56 minutes with saline on the apheresis machine, someone help me understand I'm a new donor and my 1st test result were lost or not submitted correctly and to add to the situation, the staff have horrible bedside manners, always short staffed, management has no c

I Called This Place 4 Times Trying To Get Information That Google Was Misleading About ! I'm A Single Mom That Needed Some Extra Money And I Called To See If I Could Bring My School Aged Kids Along With Me To Donate . Google Said They Had A Supervised Playroom For Kids Under 13 , I Called To See If They Had One And No One Answered FOUR TIMES IN A ROW ! I Brung My Kids Anyway As I Had An Appointment And Don't Like To Miss Appointments, Spending $26 On An Uber Just For Them To Tell Me At The Desk That Kids Ar

Everyone here is so friendly, I have been three times and every time the staff is wonderful and a delight to see. Before coming in for the first time I had done research however you don't know what it's like until you are actually there. As someone with social anxiety this was scary to do on my own but the staff was informative, attentive, and overall everyone had a great attitude. 10/10 totally recommend.

Hey I came here to let yall know to go to ked plasma. BioLife SUCKS. I BA ENT BEEN IN ALMOST A YEAR. One of the best things I ever done. Kedplasma has chairs for you to sit before you get pricked and before you wait to get called for donation. And you do not have to schedule an appointment. It's first come first serve. Right on Thornton road. I hope y?all listen and make the switch. BioLife don't even know how to stick people. They swore I was not drinking water, I go to ked and the same amount of water I

The wait can be a bit long. It's not enough staff at times. They need more people on the floor doing the plasma procedure.

When u go here u might as well get comfortable even with full staff they ass gone take all day literally I've never seen people move so damn slow in my life CSL plasma center is way better and his more space

Waited 5 1/2 hours was they are from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM. They only had two staff members working in the back. They closed at 3 o'clock so at 2:20 one of the workers came down the line asking him what was your name. They took the people I guess they came the day before that was not able to be seen.. Which means that we had to go to another section to talk with someone to get compensated with $20.. Employee stated that we would be able to reschedule to come back the next day.. Well the system still has me

This place is so great the staff are sooo helpful they help you throughout this mission the whole time you are there and they are so patient so respectful thank you so much for making this road easier for me....????

They did a wonderful job at making sure I was well took care of! Jasmaine is AWESOME!!

My first time to this location and everyone was very kind, patient, and professional. Jasmine at the front was super sweet!

The ppl in there don't know how to handle business then they got me waiting two days for my money talking about tech issues... This place don't even need to be running

This is an excellent location to use. I've been using this location for 3 to 4 years now. Employees come and go like any other business, some days are slower than others, but I'm very satisfied in this location and the people who work there.

The people who actually do the scanning and sticking are all very nice and friendly and that is the only reason I am giving any stars. Donors who are giving something that can not be duplicated are having to wait 3 plus hours just to donate and are not even getting paid as well as other plasma centers that do not wait as long either. When you ask what has happened there they state that they are fully staffed or so the management/owners say anyway. They finally added chairs to sit during the wait but only a

The best experience since I've been going here. The manager on duty was amazing and the process was fast and painless. I didn't even know I got stuck. LOL! He was superb. Thanks!

Everyone was super sweet. They made sure I was okay and make everything go by smoothly.

The wait times are ridiculous. I stood in line for 4 hours along with at least 50 people. There were only four technicians on the floor maintaining 3 pods of six beds. There are 6 pods that I have not seen being used during any visit I have made. People who had been standing in line for hours were told to come back another day. I talked with people who drove 2 hours through Atlanta traffic to get there. I drive an hour. I arrived on time for a 4p appointment. I left at 9:15p. That is unacceptable. Proper st

Great staff. They just always drag their feet. Unless you have 4-5 hours to burn then don't come here

Had a really great experience here. I was really lost and new to this whole process and Deb had such amazing service. Getting poked is never easy and she eased any anxious feeling I had. I will definitely be returning here. Just make sure you hydrate ALOT the day before because if the staff can't find your veins you have to reschedule. Good luck!

The staff here is really sweet and knows what they're doing. Never had a problem with anyone. However, this location is SEVERELY understaffed. I've only had 2 experiences here where I was in & out within 2 - 2.5 hours. All the other times, it's been an average of 4 hours - sometimes longer (I came one day & was there for nearly 7 hours). It's extremely exhausting. I was only donating because I was doing the new donor promotion, but I'm so thankful that I'm now finished with my 8 donations. Without the promo

Everyone is wonderful. They all make my experience stress free and enjoyable. I love our conversations. Today I had Sarai, and she always makes me feel comfortable when I'm here.

I'm so tired of driving out this far and the line being out the door. It's up to 4 hours each time and just not worth it anymore. I'm a quick, easy 40 minute donation and I've left the last 3 times because there are over 20 people in line for a bed. Plus, you're waiting in line with people who have never worn deodorant or showered. They stay on the phone with it on speaker and are so rude. Plus, the dress code. There was a lady in a bikini top allowed to donate 2 weeks ago. Staff is nice, but they spend so

The staff should Conduct more trustworthy business and Hold up their end of any agreement made. Definitely need more honest staff members that don't lie to donors after they have already donated and tell them one thing and do another. Under paying a donor and not correcting that payment is unethical and distasteful especially when the fault lies on the staff and the facility not on the donor. Pay me what I'm owed and that would be the proper thing to do instead of telling me that I have to donate again just

they so damn slow wtff 3-4 hours and i had to have an appointment STILL wtf . either people aren't pumping or they just don't have enough staff but ridiculous

Please do not donate here. The staff is nice, but they have been chronically understaffed long-term. I had to wait 6 hours before being seen. I fainted and had a severe reaction as a direct result of waiting all day without food. I have never donated within 4 hours or leaving instead. Moreover, the screeners at the front desk do NOT change gloves between patients unless requested to or you (the patient) are wearing scrubs. This is extremely disturbing for phlebotomists at a donation facility with direct con

Absolutely terrible all around. I haven't been to the Douglassville location in quite some time and today reminds me why that is. My appointment was for 3:15pm and I got into a bed at 6:15pm, that is beyond unacceptable. Douglassville is notoriously understaffed and it ruins the process. Why are expected to make appointments if we have to wait hours upon hours to get a bed. Hire more staff, pay them more and pay the patients more to compensate for the longer wait times. I would give this zero stars if it wa

This place requires appointments, well what's the use if your 8am appointment has you waiting until 2:00 p m, literally This system is extremely wasteful of the donors time. People have children and other errands others than sitting in a dysfunction environment that holds up donors time. Surely you have to value your employees by paying them better in effort to hold a value staff. Seven hours is insane.

BioLife staff are amazing and the place is so clean. With that said BioLife needs to adjust the amount of people for appointments based on the staff levels and staff appropriately during peak times of the week. To make a 6:45pm appointment and then at 8:05 to still be 8 people from the point of sitting in a chair is a little ridiculous. I should be in and out in under 1.5 hours but more realistically 2 hours

A great place everyone cares and that means so much to me not to many centers care but this one does

Brendan was great at his job and I had no problems with my donation this morning. He was very professional and thorough. The donation was the smoothest I have had in my experience with BioLife.

The worse run facility I've been to. Donating shouldn't be half a work day. ?Hire more people? is a gross understatement. At this point, upper management needs to be replaced. The wait time is FAAAAR from what's advertised: 1.5-2 hours just for vitals. Another 1.5-2 hours waiting to donate. Plus the 45min-1+ hour needed to actually donate. It's not fair to staff who are obviously overwhelmed (which slows them down) nor the donors whose time isn't at all respected. I quit donating for 2 years because of this

The wait time here is ridiculous. I never understand what the point of making us set an appointment only to wait in line. The staff is wonderful don't get me wrong they work wonderfully and are very nice. But please help me understand why my appointment was for 145 and I didn't end up leaving until almost 6pm. Also I think it is ridiculous I am having to stand up for hours at a time waiting in a line. Why are there not chairs for us to sit on while we are waiting? Other plasma centers have you wait in waiti

Don't bother. Wait times are absolutely absurd 4+ hours for a regular donation. The staff is mostly very friendly and look overworked. Some seem to be gossipy and could care less though. I'll probably get a reply to this with them defending themselves about the "high demand" etc etc. Well, clearly your center is built to accommodate three times the amount of patients you take. Probably because they can't retain staff. If it's a corporate problem, well, I hope they see all these reviews. Hire more people and

Jazz is the bomb love coming here they always make me feel welcome ??

This has been the best experience that anyone could even ask for. Every time I go, everyone is always so friendly. Everyone is always watching out for everyone they are that is donating. They are so good and they do not hurt me when I go to donate they make sure that, I am OK and I've never had such a great team of people to work with. I want to thank you all for being such a blessing to me while I am donating.

I use to love coming here but I can't tell if it's staff or something deeper. My appointment was at 9:30 I am still here at 1:16. They are understaffed and only limit the number of sections which makes the line go all the way to the back wall. 2 techs per station might be idle but realistically if one person can't do a section when they are busy then hire someone who can. It's annoying seeing techs waiting and standing around when they have people waiting up there for HOURS . If it's 4 people it should be 4

The staff is amazing here. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. I had a reaction and I was treated immediately with the best care. I can't say enough great things about the staff! The place is also very clean and quiet. Very relaxing and smooth donation process. The wait times can vary as to be expected but be patient and you'll be satisfied.

Under staffed takes way to long to need register much less get a spot to donate. I had two appointments in one week that took over 4 hours to get to a chair and another 30 minutes to an hour before being setup on the machine. I now drive 30 minutes further for better pay and quicker turn around time. BioLife is a joke!!

I like going to BioLife because I want to be that person who can do what they can to help others. BioLife has high standards to keep their customers safe by their sterile process so there is no cross contamination. The people who work there are gentle and very courteous. I highly recommend this place to all my family and friends.

TERRIBLE!!! the staff have absolutely no sense of urgency. People are standing in lines on feet for 4-5 hours at a time. Website says it will take 1-2 hours. Each time my husband has been it has never been that. He had an appointment at 12:45 and had to walk out because at 2:30 he was still 17 people behind from being sat in a bed. The staff are filled with people who just wanna talk to other staff and never do anything. This place needs to go out of business immediately. Everyone around us was irritated b

this is my second time donating at bio life plasma center in douglasville and the staff is so sweet and accommodating. they explain everything step by step and take their time to make sure your comfortable. not a bad experience at all

The staff is not the problem here. Every time i go in, they are pleasant to me, however, the problem is the wait times and being short staffed. I've worked in a plasma center and i get the high demand but at the same time, these workers are burnt out, especially for the ones who are scheduled off at 7pm, but they stay over 2, 3, 4 hours after, just to help and catch up? I went two weeks ago, stood in line from 6:00pm-9:15pm, hooked up at 9:15pm, out at 10:30pm. The sad thing is, i was offered $110 last week

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only were the people rude. But I sat in the chair waiting for an hour an 15 mins just for them to continue to help people that got sat after me and when I asked I was met with an attitude. I will continue to go to the one on Barrett parkway

This location is poorly managed. My second time coming to this location and each visit last over 6hours! Only 25% of the area is being utilized in the actual donation area (green & red zones ). They are severely understaffed and not pleasant or appear to be happy doing their jobs. You'll be lucky if you get a hello. It's a noble thing to come in and donate for medicine to be made to help people which they make money selling however for the poor pay compensation and the extreme wait it's not worth it. The pl

I was turned away because I live in an extended stay. I'm not guessing that's why I was turned away, that's literally what I was told. When I provided my rental agreement and ID and she ran the address, I was told unfortunately we don't allow people who live in extended stays donate, because we may not be able to contact them if something important arises, and these people are known to move around a lot. If I move, my phone is moving with me. Who has landlines as a primary phone? Makes no sense, especially

The staff isn't the problem, I don't think, looks like they need more employees and as long as we are standing in line for 2 hrs, they should have chairs for us to sit, sitting on the floor is unsanitary, it really shouldn't take this long. To give plasma... We gotta do better than this yall, I mean where is the sense of urgency.. Maybe each employee setting up the machine should have a quota on how many people they have set up... This process is just too slow!!

My experience at Biolife Plasma Services in Douglasville, GA was excellent. The workers Tiaerra & Diamond made my visit easy when they were knowledgeable and very prompt when connecting me to machine and taking me off machine. All the while they explain to me what was going on in the process. This made my concerns to be put at ease.

Staffing on Tues (Douglasville location) is an issue,if you have something to do afterwards DON'T GO!!!!! It averages 3 hours + & if it's a skeleton crew no telling when your gonna donate IF you donate. Any other day afternoons are 2 hours MAYBE & again it depends on staff,I have no issue with the people who work there, they're professional, pleasant & do go above & beyond. It's the making lemonade out of lemons that they do so I don't blame them because they actually came to work.

There is not enough staff for the amount of patients they see. Nurses won't come out and help the phlebotomist, it is ridiculous to have to stand in line for 3 hours. Staff has no sense of urgency, they all walk slow, busy shuffling around doing nothing. Again us standing in line the entire time waiting to donate is crazy. If you don't have the staff block off the schedule ash?s don'tlet 1000 people schedule and have to wait a half of a day. This is ridiculous, do better! Hire an abundance of people of get

I recently donated plasma this past Thursday, September 26, 2024. I have always had great experiences, especially with the staff having patience beyond measure and being very knowledgeable. With this donation on Thursday, I did not receive my full payout amount based on what I was supposed to receive for the promotion. I called the Douglasville Center several times and when someone picked up, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and never returned to the phone so I hung up. I tried calling back several times

There were only a few courteous employees there, especially the phlebotomy team, and the wait time that was advertised to me before signing up was 2 hours for the first visit and 1 hour for subsequent visits. I spent 4 hours during my first visit. I am unsure if I am willing to repeat that process.

The workers here are extremely slow to hook people up.. They have nurses dressed walking around the floor that even when they are short on staff, they never touch patients. It sucks so bad to be in there freezing cold waiting and nothings happening then you look over and see a free nurse pretending not to see the giant line of people trying to give blood. At opening if the lazy nurse would have helped the one that was working it wouldn't take an hour and 20 minutes to get hooked up just to finish in 40 minu

Worst plasma center ever the lady deferred me because I was about to pee on myself instead of helping me she went and wiped a chair off also she has a grudge on me because I use to talk somebody in her family they need to let her go doing this to people 0 stars if I could

This place needs to serious help. The line and wait time is ridiculous. They need to hire more staff. The staff is very nice though. But I'm not understanding why we have appointment times if we aren't able to donate then. Also the fact that we are having to stand. This is the only center that doesn't have chairs for you to sit in. Most invented have a system where you call out the persons name when they are next. There's PLENTY of room for chairs.

This donation center is wildly understaffed. Lines wrapping around corners for both donors waiting to be screened and for donors waiting to donate. Took 1 hour just to have my vitals screened. My appointment was 10:55am. I arrived at 10:50. Did not have my vitals screened until 11:50, as only 1 person was screening a line of a dozen or more donors. There are entire sections of machines not being used while a line of 20+ donors continues growing. Donors who have been screened are expected to stand and wait w

Waiting in line to get vitals taken for an hr+ and 4-6 hrs to be sat down, on top of waiting to be disconnected just becomes too consuming. I love that I'm helping people in need, but can't take my entire day away from my family and have had to walk out of my past couple of appointments due to understaffing and lines standing still for long periods of time.

As someone who has donated time and time again, sometimes its quick and sometimes it's a 3 hour ordeal?..but remember your getting paid so chill out! today I prob had the best experience ever. Maybe it was the fact that I came at 8 am when there was no line as opposed to my regular evening appt. Perhaps it was the friendly techs that actually looked happy to be there, and indulged me in a good chat, Or maybe it was the amazing nurses that fed me beef jerky. Either way, you guys are doing a great job!! Keep

Do not come here. Please do not waste your time like they wasted mine. I've never had a plasma center disqualify for diabetes or sleep apnea, and if they had an issue with it they accepted the letter my doctor wrote saying I'm eligible for plasma donation. Not here, they require their own form be filled out. But that's not the worst part I called and asked what the disqualifications are so that I knew if I was eligible but they say because people are dishonest and lie, they can't say that over the phone, fa

I am happy with the incentives but not always happy with the locations... they are all understaffed that I've noticed and with the Douglasville there are exceeding long waits. Both times I went waited over three hours just to be put on a bed and wait to be connected. Then the last visit the machine kept messing up. Still I received my compensation.

I come here because sometimes the weekly payments help with weekly needs, but being here for 4-5 hours is crazy and only making 40$ your first visit of the week. Standing there for 2 hours just for them to put 2-3 ?new donors? in front of me is wild. Y?all can do better, but yall don't. I see yall just standing around 90% of the time. Or they will have a full section ready to go and won't get them hooked up for 20-30 plus minutes. Y?all may be ?short staffed? but having this type of wait is crazy.

My experience today has been really great. From beginning to the end. Did not have a long wait from the front and getting to the back was a short wait. Opening multiple stations has been the biggest improvement. Less long lines and less wait time. The entire staff are professional and great stickers. Thanks to management for finally hearing and seeing the issues and making the necessary changes for a better donation giving process. Thumbs up!

The staff is awesome!! The wait is utterly RIDICULOUS!!! Update: I had to come back and edit my review due to the fact that this facility has greatly improved on wait time since I originally posted this. Thank you for seeing a problem and making necessary changes ??!!

HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I went to donate on 9/4/2024 and was stuck in right arm. My veins are very strong and easy to stick. I knew something was not right when the phlebotomist stuck me. I noticed she had to adjust the needle to get the blood to flow. Once she stepped away I called for some assistance because my arm has now started to burn and it's progressing. A different person came over (with no urgency) and looked at my arm only to tell me to hold on and walked away to find some assistance ??. At this

The staff is great, but appears to be understaffed and overworked. Compensation fluctuations from week to week is very frustrating. Consistent rate per visit would be appreciated. Compensation based on two visits per week. 1st visit compensation is considerably less than 2nd visit. Each visit should be paid equal as each visit is equally important. Wait times vary greatly depending on number of donors. Often overbooked on appointments, gets backed up quickly.

They are always understaffed. Only 12 beds open & you stand forever with nowhere to sit. I would go more often if it didn't take 3 to 4 hours to get threw it.

First of all, I was terrified to come here but I've been here over seven times now, and I'm so glad I started in the first place. The techs here are so awesome and make you feel as comfortable as possible, I had a reaction once and I was treated so well in light of it. They care about you as a person. I also want to mention LaShawn, she is so awesome!!! She kept checking in on me to make sure I had everything I need. When the machine would give me a hard time, she'd reassure me it's the machine and it isn't

The workers are polite and the office is clean . But they are overworked, I just can't help but notice all the empty seats and sections not being used while the lines are extremely long . And I can't help but to wonder why we schedule appointments when that clearly doesn't help the donors . I understand budget . But come on guys, The lines are just too long for only 12 chairs and 2 techs . It's enough space , money , and people for this to work out for everyone . Please bring in more techs and open up more

They NEVER answer the phone. Even when it's not busy. Had a question about a payment I didn't get and never got an answer.

They were only two people that were actually collecting plasma. It took me four and a half hours to actually be hooked up to a machine. The workers were very rude we're not concerned about people's well-being, or how long we had been waiting. I do not recommend this location.

I typically don't write reviews, but my recent experience at your center compelled me to share my thoughts. I visited your establishment on the 23rd at 2:00 PM based on a friend?s recommendation. I've only donated blood once before at the Red Cross to find out my blood type. This time, I decided to donate plasma to help others, plus I was told there might be a small incentive, like a Chick-fil-A card. Unfortunately, my visit was incredibly disappointing. After arriving at 2:00 PM, I completed the briefing

I had a very negative experience during my appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early. Both receptionists were speaking with another first time patient and I wasn't addressed until 10 minutes after my appointment time, which was fine. But then I was chastised for ?being late?. I let it go. Within my first 5 minutes of arriving, I heard inappropriate language used by the two receptionists. This was a common theme. All of the staff except for the nurse who completed my physical and the manager used this languag

I usually come here and have a good experience. I hadn't been in a year and wanted to donate again today . I had an appointment at 3:15pm. The lady at the front with the curly long hair (black) was so rude bc I hadn't eaten. I honestly forgot I had an actual donation today and thought I was just doing a physical so that I could donate tomorrow. She was so rude, though, that I was taken aback and then I just decided to leave. If you don't want to be nice, then fine. However, you shouldn't just be rude and st

The long wait standing in a line was too much for me. I feel that they really need some where for people to sit. Because some people coming through may have bad knees or back problems or some type of medical issues that causes them not to be able to stand for long periods of time. I also feel as if they are very under staff because there was a lot of beds open but only a small area open for donors. I feel the other side needed to be open and maybe then people wouldn't be standing as long.

If i could give this location zero stars i would they are extremely understaffed yet they still except high volumes of customers knowing it will take hours and it shouldn't be this way and the way new donors is insane just today as i?m waiting to be sat down 4 new donors are placed infront of me over time my appt was at 1105 it is now 2:11 pm as im writing this and im still waiting in line to donate and a new donor was just placed infront of me if you cannot keep a staff shut this location down and stop wai

This center is a joke and should be closed. The staff member on duty is incompetent and they basically wasted 5 hours of our time only to tell my son he couldn't donate and couldn't be compensated because the untrained phlebotomist on duty can't find his veins. Which she barely even attempted to find. That's another thing, stop half training people that aren't licensed and if they are, please be sure they're trained properly before releasing them out here to mess up someone?s being with their incompetence.

They staff here is very friendly and polite. They make feel comfortable and like your at home

For Y?all Too Have Appointments Every 5 Min On The Hour . You Do Not Have 5 Min Ready Employees . Appointment times should change so that you don't have so many people waiting stood in line 1 hour just to get physical and then stood in line 2 hours just to get in a chair . Smh Then You Got Managers and others in office when the floor needs help . Appointment was at 9:00 didn't leave till 12:30 .

Donated today with an absolute minimal wait time. Received legendary service and care from Sarai during my visit. Thank you for all you do!

The staff were very professional and very polite. I Was very impressed with the staff and my visit.

Appointment time 11 05. Got flagged during questionnaire because of an employee mistake. Waited 30 more minutes for a nurse to correct mistake. Then waited in line for vitals for an hour just to be told my blood pressure is off. Well, No kidding. Anyone's blood pressure would be. Never going back

Hire more staff , I know donating can take a while. I have donated before at a few places , but this was ridiculous. I was there 4 hours , and the fact you guys don't do walk-ins is absurd. The only place I ever donated where the donor get punished because of the lack of staff at the location. Tomorrow Wednesday July 3rd will be last time ever donating at bio life . On goggle it says you guys take walk-ins but they are not priority I can understand that. I drive 45 minutes to this location only to get turne

People do not like working the female workers like to be in the male donators face, and I donated and they didnt want to tell me how much, only to look at my app when i looked at it it was only $40. And I was there for 3 hours for a returning donator.

My donation was handled by Sarai and she was professional courteous and worked with a sense of purpose and urgency. I definitely recommend checking them out.

I've had great experiences with this location. Everyone is super friendly and the process was a breeze. Lashawn is definitely one of my favorites. She always has a smile and is very personable. She is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Thanks Lashawn!

What's the point in making an appointment??? This will be my 4th donation and final donation. This facility almost isn't even worth the new donor pay. If I didn't need the $100 I most definitely would not be putting myself through the misery. My appointment was for 10:20?. It's 12:28 and I'm STILL standing in line waiting for a a bed. This is outrageous. My last 3 donations I have been in this facility for 4+ hours. I've been to quite a few plasma labs ranging from her in Georgia to Texas and this one is by

DO NOT DONATE HERE!! You will wait in the lines for over two hours, no chairs to sit in, you will be brought to a chair only to wait another 30 minutes for someone to hook you up to the machine. Literally they will hook up the person next you and then just walk off and disappear. When you're done it takes like 15 - 20 minutes to be released. The unprofessionalism is ridiculous here.

The wait time was awful. My appt was for 8:25 and I didn't even get a chair to donate until 10:15. As ALWAYS the staff was wonderful. They deserve more support from management.

The Douglasville location is very clean and the staff is friendly. However, you are required to make an appointment to donate which serves no real purpose. It essentially works on a first come basis. You are expected to STAND in lines for hours at a time. The faculty is very under staffed. At my second donation ?appointment? I waited for 2 hours in a like that only consisted of myself and one other person. There are always sections of empty beds but not enough staff to service you. I canceled two appointmen

Lindsey was amazing as well as aaliyah and Brennan . The staff is courteous the Center is very clean they have switch to a pager system which protects everybody from the spread of covid-19 and I feel that it also gets you in a little quicker this is the only plasma donation center I will be using

Longest line out of all the donation centers in our area. Stand for 2 1/2-3 hours then 1hr for donation. One day might have a chair, next day chairs will be removed depending on management. Technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional even under pressure. Several technicians have been with Biolife for several years, throughout poor management experiences.

They may be busy and understaffed but they make it work. Karla and Diamond are the best they are both always in great moods and are amazing at their job.

First time took 4hrs but very good experience

Everything is slow motion at this location so if you have 3-4hrs to spare go for it. Won't be back after this promotion

Sara and Jade are really friendly and kind and caring take their time to get to know you and explain everything and the needle stick is almost painless I enjoy seeing them each time I come in

Found a place called Kedsplasma no appointments pay is better, bonuses are better all they around better, yall making millions off of us,yet paying us chump change. That's not right. Once ppl figure this out y'all are done.

This place is terribly understaffed and one of the Slowest plasma donation centers in Ga. The only silver lining to my dreadful experience was there wonderful employee LeShawn. She was very courteous and apologetic for the wait and made sure I was taken care of immediately. Not my favorite donation center, would Not recommend!

Chronically understaffed. The employees are great but overworked. I don't know why they have appointments as it will take an hour or three just to start the donation process. I would choose to donate elsewhere if you have anything else to do on that day.

The wait time can be long sometimes because they're short staffed but the staff that is there is always pleasant and knowledgeable. They do their best to make the donors comfortable and at ease. Lashawn is great

Rude staff, especially the black lady up front with the long hair. I think she's in charge of up front. Don't take it out on the patrons if you don't want to be at work. Wait times are ridiculous too when there are unused beds all over the facility that the staff is too lazy to open because they don't want to stay late to turn off additional machines. Also Shouldn't take 3 hours to complete a donation but it does EVERY SINGLE TIME regardless of time or day. This facility is one of the worst places you can d

Jasmine was so professional and pleasant with my first time

Wait time can be bad sometimes but employees do try to find different ways to make it better. Plus it is less employees than normally and the work has to be done right and precise. Money is nice. I just know it will be at least 2-3hrs and plan accordingly.

BioLife? smh. Now don't get me wrong, the staff is fine, but everytime I come in to donate it's always always mega short staffed! Like to the point where I plan to be in here a whole work shift bc everyone moves sooo slow and nobody wanna come to work!!! That's not our fault , at least compensate us extra for sitting here for over 4+ hours!!! Yall don't honor yall appts, bc how I schedule I appointment at 7:30AM AND DONT GET IN A CHAIR TILL 10AM??? You kidding me??? Then they don't have a cutoff limit for n

The wait is very long, there were only 6 or 8 phlebotomist working.I hear it's like that all the time. There's hardly any seating so you are standing literally for hours. Some televisions would be nice to watch while we are giving and the pay could be more. BioLife is a huge company that makes a lot of money off plasma there is no reason why you shouldn't have enough chairs for each client and televisions for entertainment to at least watch while we're giving plasma this is the one located in Douglasville,

Love the atmosphere. Everybody is soo nice !! Diamond was really helpful and I love the convos we have. Also Bryson is a very funny guy and always makes me laugh

Two sweet ladies at the BioLife plasma center in Douglasville, Ga Their names are Sarai and Fifi. Sarai was the first one to put the needle in my arm and it did not hurt one bit. And the only one that did not hurt I might add. Thank you so much for these sweet ladies! Diana Camp (donor)

Ms. Sarai was great. Stick was smooth , always helpful when asked something.. great energy ,always smiling.. she's great .. I vote for her to be manager..

The customer service at this location is beyond exceptional! Keva, Sam, and the entire staff makes you feel comfortable and goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable. Sometimes the lines are long and you have a long wait but that's to be expected sometimes. I have never had a bad experience. I would definitely recommend.

After a personal medical scare, donating whole blood and plasma took on a whole new meaning for me. The closest BioLife location to me is in Douglasville. The pro of this location is definitely the staff. Each person I have interacted with at this location has been awesome. The con is depending on the time of the day, the wait could be a little longer than usual, but I have not found it to be a deal breaker.

I take my partner here twice a week. It is a 40 minute drive from our house?Yesterday after my partner had his scheduled appointment, he waited for 20 minutes after his appointment to be seen, okay cool?. Then he had been waiting over 40 minutes for someone come to hook him up. After waiting for 40 minutes, he got cold and came out to the car to grab his sweatshirt. When he entered the building they told him he couldn't donate because he left. I understand if he left for 5 minutes, but it was 30 seconds. Th

I stopped donating in spring of 2021 due to excessive wait times (more than 3 hours). I decided to give it another try recently & have been disappointed to see that nothing has changed. I have tried all different times & days & what used to be a 1hour visit (easy) is now a 3 hour (if not more) commitment. Having people wait this long with no where to sit other than the cold floor is inexcusable. I don't even understand why there is an appointment process? There is no way they can accommodate that many

Whole place is nothing but a joke. Wasted my time all because the nurse wanted to be lazy and not give me a physical the SAME DAY I made my appointment. WOULD NOT recommend.

Hello neighbors. Biolife in Douglasville stays very busy. I'm sure it's due in large part to their compassionate staff. Shequita is but one such example. I have been consistently treated with dignity and respect. When a business is so very busy its little wonder they have occasional issues and lack flexibility with appointments and policies. I look forward to my scheduled visits due to the quality of the staff and comfortable environment.

Staff was very welcoming and informative. The facility was very clean and everything was well orchestrated.

I was scheduled to donate 12/10/23 @ 3 PM. I arrived on time to find the doors locked and was unable to get into the building although there was an attendant at the front desk who refused to even acknowledge my presence or allow me in. I was only able to enter after another exiting customer opened the door. Although I was on my phone upon entering, I ended my call shortly after and began to sign in. An employee by the name of Nicole then approached me and told me that I would be deferred due to being on my

I came here twice now. The wait time is forever long. I was here yesterday for 5 hours and didn't get to donate cause of the wait time. I came back today and still haven't been seen. They are short staff. They are friendly. But I have been sitting here waiting to donate in the chair and everyone else is going ahead.

Horrible, they require appointments but best believe you'll be waiting 4 hours just to donate. If yall need more people why not just hire more? This is ridiculous!!! I would not come here, go somewhere else.

The staff is friendly but I don't understand why they can only have 6 patients pumping each when they don't stay in the room with you watching at all times. The lines are so long. I had an appointment at 2:00 and left after 6:00. No where to sit while you wait so your feet will be killing you by the end. Pay isn't equal time for sure when they are so over booked you just leave.

Everyone in the center is nice but honestly the wait times are ridiculous. I've gone at multiple times to try and find the best time to go. Usually when I come by 7am I can come right in but here I am checked in at 7:05 and they tell me it's a 30-40min wait. Ive waited 2-3hrs and my time is way more important than that. I've been reading multiple reviews of all of us saying the same thing. I like that I'm helping but I can't keep wasting my time like this. Thankfully I work from home today and hopefully I w

I have scheduled 6 appointment since July 6 and each time they always turn the afternoon appointments away making it difficult for someone who works to even support the plasma industry. As a health care professional this organization is very unorganized and has a high turnover rate. I want able to even get the compensation being a first time donor because if you dont sign in before 3pm. You can bet you wont be able to donate. And it will still show in the system meaning you cant come back the next day. If t

I went yesterday and the staff was very friendly, it was my first time donating and the over all experience was pretty good. I would Recommend to use the bathroom before you start donating as it takes around an hour, and bring a blanket it's cold.

This location is terrible with waiting !! They really don't care how long we sit and wait, you spend 5 hours in here just to be in a chair for only 35-40 minutes for sometimes people are only getting $40 !! And y?all are taking this long !! It's ridiculous because most people have stuff to do after this . And the fact they don't accommodate us with a coupon nor any snack nor water while we sit here for hours !! This is crazy y?all need to be more considerate of the timing . As one Pierson leave a chair they

I have been coming to bio life at this location for a few years now it use to be a easy in an out process. Now it's becoming more of an all day experience due to the lack of staff. With that being said the staff that is here is amazing. They all work together and try their best to accommodate the heavy work load . I myself work in health care and can appreciate to see such great team work and the customer service your team provides to all of us is amazing. My only suggestion is to try to provide your team w

The staff here is great! The wait times are very long most times unfortunately. More employees are definitely needed or setting up the scheduling better for the employee ratio. Chairs are definitely needed for the waiting donors as well. 3-4 hours standing in one spot is a bit much

I just started coming to Biolife some days ago and on my first visit, I normally get my right arm, it works best with blood drawl. But for some reason, my left arm took better. Lashawna was amazing, I did not even feel her stick me with the needle and more importantly, she was the first to ever get my left arm to cooperate. Big shout out to Biolife and their excellent service. Since I have been donating my plasma, I have had nothing but great customer service. Everyone always has a pleasant way of assistin

The service is absolutely amazing and they are very gentle. All the intake personal are very gentle. Sierra is usually who I interact with and definitely answers all my questions about health in genera. **ADDENDUM to my previous post*** This team is soooooo awesome? They are so apologetic to the length of time people have to wait and are constantly on the move to get people seated as fast as one gets up. NOW as for the way BIO LIFE runs this place is unacceptable. In the testing line? One person testing for

This place is terrible.. you will be there for 4 to 5 hrs..every donation.. The staff moves slow and does not value your time, you will wait on line for three hours, then sit in the chair waiting to be hooked up to the machine for another hour, then an hour giving your donation. They count on you needing the money so they can treat you however they want...if you can find another facility, do so

Despite some of the reviews, I decided to give Bio a try and let me say I was not disappointed. The staff was professional and friendly. They made sure I was comfortable and fully informed on what my first visit would be like. Once all the paperwork and questionnaires were complete and I was hooked up and it only took 46 minutes for the transfer. I'll be back and will refer a few friends. Thank you so much for making my experience pleasant.

This was a one time occurrence, but it was the most embarrassing and humiliating experience!??

Diamond and Trevor are amazing! They are friendly, professional, and great at their respective jobs. They make every visit a pleasure!

I love love the staff here. Specifically I love the technicians who take the vitals and the phlebotomist. These people are kind and patient and very helpful. If I have any complaints it would be that it could be more staffed to help the rest of the staff that are on shift and to help them be at home on time with their families or to have alone time before going to work the next day. All sections of the donation center can be open if the higher ups would allow for more staff to be hired. It's a shame because

The staff is always nice and try to be quick as possible. Everything is clean and staff are always checking up on us. I started donating to save up for family vacations and Christmas and it's been great.

Friendly staff, clean building and they're fast you won't spend all day in here!

Always fast and easy when I come. Today, I was with Sarai and it was painless. She was efficient and friendly.

First time donating plasma today, and Sarai took great care of me! She walked me through how the procedure would work and what to expect.

Last time i did this i gave three stars this time it will be one. BioLife as a whole had no respect for people time. What's the point of your staff coming in early if nothing never set up. They stuff is always broke and they always short staff due to people calling out. The finger scanners never work. They never apologize for the wait but have the audacity to catch an attitude because the line getting long. It's a good cause to give too but it's not worth the disrespect or time. My advice find somewhere els

My first donation took about 2 or 3 hours before I got into the donation chair, and then my machine malfunctioned and I ended up not being able to finish my donation. The staff was really nice and made sure I was okay after and still compensated. I came back for my ?second? donation two days later, and it took about half the time before getting into the donation chair. I had the same employee Sarai both times, and she made me so much less nervous! Very kind and professional, let me know what would happen ev

Staff is awesome, Sam is the best. Very clean location. I do wish y'all would have chairs to sit in while waiting to get on the plasma table. But I'm very happy to donate at BioLife. And please if you decide to donate please use Felicia Willis as your referral. Please and thank you and God bless you all

I got turned away apparently because I didn't drink enough water and I've been to other plasma centers and they told me I have small veins, but with that being said, I've never had any center deny me my first time here they tell me they're not gonna be able to do it and then I go to another place and they do it. No problem. Lol I don't know. Maybe they just didn't like me even though I was completely respectful.

July 2024 update: It hasn't gotten any better. High demand for donation payouts in an understaffed facility. Expect delays and postponements. Original Review: Staff is affable. The main issue is so many people want to donate as soon as they leave work, on weekdays, that there isn't enough staff to screen and prepare them for donations, in a timely manner. Waiting times during peak hours is 1-3 hours; off-peak hours: no more than 30 minutes, if there are up to 5 people already seated in the waiting area,

They overbooked while not having the staff. My biggest issue is changing the compensation money every week I go. There should not be a single donation under 75 dollars. The new points system is also a joke. I can not find any page that gives items you can get with points. So that being said I will not donate twice a week for less than 125 dollars as a bare minimum. Anyone donating should do the same.

We have to schedule an appointment but still wait in donation line for 4 to 5 hours is ridiculous. There seats are limited. You have staff talking about weekend plans, walking around acting busy and actually doing nothing. Staff leaving out the building talking to their friends. PAY IS NOT WORTH IT. GO to LITHA SPRINGS at least their regular pay is higher and they give bonus to regular Donations all the time. You GET way more than $40.00 and chance to spend the wheel to get even more money.

I was there for 5 hours as a first time donor.....was told next donation would only take about an hour. My second time, there 3 hours. It seems like they are so under staffed....I'm new to donating and I'm already completely turned off by continuing if it takes this long. Update, came back in hopes of getting a better solution. My experience here only got worst!!!! Appointment was at 3pm.... waited in line to donate 1 he. It's now 5:03 pm and still haven't been hooked up. This is crazy! I've also noticed t

My experience while I been coming has been horrible. The wait times are long because all they do is talk about their weekends/personal lives instead of getting people in and out. You get screened and once you get to the back in a chair you sit for a whole hour because all they do is talk. The returning donors or new donors skipped the line even though you've been waiting for some time. Management needs to come in and shut down or get a whole new crew because it's very unprofessional.

6 years ago I donated plasma to save money to go on mission to Ukraine. And It went great! I thought now, I could do something similar. I don't know if there was a change in management or other personnel, but I have had the worst experience with trying to donate. I completed my physical but they will not allow me to donate. I tried scheduling a donation online but they want me to renew my physical after a few days of completing it? I really do like Biolife and what they stand for, but this staff has really

I'd say pretty nice staff and all that, they do try to make sure you are comfortable during the process. Only issue I've seen is that the wait times are very excessive, even compared to other centers. Maybe they are understaffed, or could stand an adjustment in how they do things to help it run a bit quicker.

Friendly staff. So far after returning, wait time hasn't been long. Although resolving one issue too a while getting to resolution, it was resolved to satisfaction. After receiving a low protein reading in the midst of being a return donor, it too a second test sample. The time expired and could not be reset to complete the return donor compensation. Would be nice to have a way of extending the expiration date to complete the return donor compensation.

My first donation went fine on a sat!! But this week I tried to donate early morning lines are ridiculous and the staff does not go where help is needed! The sat staff was amazing the weekday staff not to much!! I was treated rude and just incorrect info given causing defer which I was unaware of they gave a coho credit but the lack of accountability as a team and business I'm unhappy with! I try to be pleasant but when I feel the negativity flowing had to keep my composure. I did give a 5 star but I have

Wait time is definitely too long. You will be in a line standing waiting for a seat for 2-3 hours. Another 1 hour waiting to be hook up. And than another 45-1 hour to donate. On top of that they only pay $40 dollars after promotion and which they are getting $1,000 to 1,200 per unit of plasma. Sounds like everyone being ripped off. That's a huge profit. Everyone really needs to start boycotting for that little amount of money. They getting rich off OUR PLASMA WHILE WE GET PENNIS.

Expect to waste half a day here as it takes anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 hours to get started once you get checked in.

This review has absolutely NOTHING to do with the employees. The people that work here are genuinely sooo nice and provide great service! HOWEVER, after making an appointment here the wait has grown to about 2-4 HOURS after making an APPOINTMENT! That is absolutely ridiculous! This establishment is receiving no help from corporate and they truly need it! Someone NEEDS to make changes to the scheduling of donors because eventually all of their donors and employees will simply quit. A company that treats its

Great place to go to donate. The employees are over worked due to the lack of help.Need to hire a lot more help. This place stays full all the time. Why can't you hire more workers?

I have always had a wonderful experience when coming in to donate?this morning I felt a bit exceptional! Shenitha was directing as to what section I should go to and after a busy holiday season for these people, she looked at me and asked for me to wait for a bed that was being cleaned since she remembered I use my right arm (I had trouble with my left so I don't use it here) and they wouldn't have to drape the tubes over me! She is so attentive e to detail when dealing with me, and gentle when hooking up

This is the worse facility when it comes to organization and scheduling. You get off work to come for a 5:40 appointment just to sit in your car and wait 2 hours before you can even start your questionnaire. Then once you get a bed, you wait another 20 minutes before someone comes over to start you. What should be an hour and fifteen minute process turns into a 4 hour inconvenience. So then I said let me schedule a morning appointment. Schedule a 7:20 appointment just to be told there's an hour wait. So no

they are horribly understaffed, but the volume of people coming in has only grown with Covid restrictions being lifted. 9/15/22 got in at 8 am, only one person doing the screen ins, at least 20 people waiting in line to either get screened, or hooked up. only 3 people actually doing the hook ups, even though they have a ton of floor space and machines, they only use about 12 of them. the employees that are there are doing their best with what little they have. you will, no matter what time you go in, wait

They are either way to crowed an the wait is stupid. I had a 11:30 appointment it's now 1:45 an I am just now standing in line to get my finger poked, so another 2 hour wait ahead. I will will be here as long as one that works here. They offer a bonus if you complete it in 30 days. Good luck at doing that because they will take your appointment an you plan to go up there an they make you wait outside an when you get tired of waiting an hour check inside to see how much longer they will tell you they are not

Excessive wait times and they will not let you sit down anymore when waiting!!! Ridiculous! I brought my own chair but they said I couldn't even use it. An employee told me they took away the chairs so that the nurses would be faster ?? ?who came up with that?? The nurses are supposed to be faster because they see people standing up??? Do not come here!!! Go anywhere else!

Tired of standing in long screen and donate lines only to have multiple new donors placed in line on front of me further extending time I have to stand and wait. There are no chairs to sit in, nor can you bring your own.

Be prepared to spend 4-5 hrs here for the whole process. Half of that time is spent waiting in your car, even though you have an appointment. There's maybe 20 minutes of total interaction time with staff, which includes getting hooked up, unhooked, checked, etc.. but for some reason they can't seem to get people in and out. They don't even look at the comments as I'm sure I'll get the same generic response that everybody else gets. Unless your really strapped for cash, donating here isn't worth it.
