Parachute Plasma Donation Center Clovis, NM

Parachute Plasma Donation Center Clovis, NM

Reviews Summary

Reviews are mixed, with many praising the unique finds, variety, and friendly staff (especially for Halloween items and books). However, frequent complaints highlight overpricing (often compared to new retail prices), poor organization, and inconsistent customer service. Several reviewers express frustration with high costs for used/donated items, calling it unfair for low-income shoppers. Cleanliness and dressing room policies are also criticized. While some enjoy the treasure-hunt experience, others feel the store fails to deliver value or basic thrift-store expectations.

If I could give 0 stars to this location I would, location #2005 in Clovis, New Mexico, there are no dressing rooms available, staff wants you to pay for items before trying them on, and does not care to check out the customers, the cashier up at the front checkout has a disgusting attitude, I did not catch her name but she was working the register at 4:35 PM today (4-15-2025). I will never be visiting this location again, and I highly recommend you as a local customer don't bother wasting your money or ti

They have tons of Halloween costumes for all ages. Lots of Halloween decor and accessories at a reasonable price! Hats galore!

I go in here about once every two weeks just to check stuff out. The prices have gone up and the product has gone down hill. They literally sell garbage items. Really 40 bucks for a pair of vans slip on shoes? That's almost retail. Goodwill used to be a place to get decent used items for good price. But just like every other company putting profits over people. Your products are donated and the overhead is low. Quit trying to screw hard working people.

Used items are still overpriced from my last visit 3 years ago! Probably by someone who doesn't shop. Come on now other Goodwills have better prices than this store in Clovis!

If i could give -stars i would and heres why. The store is very uncapped and people don't seem to care what kind of donations they get and put out. There's a lot of junk randomly cluttered around the shelves and I've been to a lot of different Goodwill and this is by far the worst one! The employees get treated badly by management they always look really out of it so you can try to think of how they're being treated and it shows How bad the store is, I came in a few days ago and forgot to write a review, bu

On 1/25 I went into goodwill and could hear the male manager yelling at the rest of the employees. He was absolutely unprofessional and should not be working in this profession. He doesn't seem like he talks to his employees with any respect and I'm surprised anyone is working for him at all. Do not recommend this store unless management changes.

It's disgusting how much they're charging. 24.99 for an old smelly used pair of sneakers? Shame on you. These stores are SUPPOSED to be for the low income but instead they're taking free donations and hiking the prices up to almost what they would be brand new. As a matter of fact, here's a tip for whoever reads this. Go on eBay, Poshmark, or Depop, and you can get a pair of shoes (or whatever you're looking for) for almost new and yet somehow still cheaper than this ?thrift? store.

I have no complaints about the customer service. Everybody I have interacted with was super helpful and friendly. However, I have to say that this is the most insanely overpriced Goodwill I have ever been to. They are charging over retail for used, donated goods. Old clothes from Old Navy and Rue 21 should not be marked up as part of a collection. They are not even remotely considered luxury brands. You can get new clothes from the actual store for less than what they charge. Prices for home decor and toys

I like how the tops are organized by color because it makes it easier when you're looking for a specific color. However, the prices for many items are too high. I saw quite a few products you could buy at Dollar Tree for $1.25 marked $2.99. Most of the DONATED costumes for Halloween were priced barely under the cost of brand new. A few products had the original price tag from the store it was from and they matched or surpassed the original cost.

Friendly staff ready to assist with any donations and also when ringing up anything you're buying. A good place to go to find something cheaper that's been used if you're looking for it and fortunate enough to go after someone has donated what you want. If you don't want to deal with a yard sale, bring good items here to help others.

Items are way over priced. Clothes are Stretched out, & water bottles were all dirty. For the over priced items at least clean things !

I like this store. The only problem is it's so hot in there if it wasn't so hot. I could stay around and spend a lot more money. Please do something about the heat! turn on the A.C.!!!!

I have given this goodwill numerous tries. I love goodwill in the other states we have lived in, but I have never experienced what I have every time I have been in Clovis goodwill. The associates we have dealt with have no idea what customer service is, they are short and snide with customers who are just asking simple questions. I don't think the service would align with corporate goodwill standards, possibly they need training or new management. The prices are outrageous, you might as well head to Walmart

Our local Goodwill is a great place for me to pick up little trinkets for our home. I stop in at least once a month looking for mismatched things to decorate with. The prices on some items could be a bit lower but they're still pretty good. I would love to see the store grow someday and have room for more household items.

This store was horrible!!! Very dirty floors looked like they haven't been cleaned in years. Store was cluttered and disorganized!! The restroom was worse than a truck stop !!! Never seen a Goodwill is bad ever!!! Clean it up at this point professional cleaning staff will be needed !

Classic store to find hidden treasures. The book section has some finds to include a tarot companion and various self help books. Scattered about are relic books from the 80s, and every type of fashion from 1960- today. Browse the slightly used shoes to find your "perfectly worn" pair. Knick knacks off the chain. Target surplus items like inflatable unicorns and cute earth pillows.

Saw something the fellas was putting out on the shelves. Asked about it and looked something like bamboo shades. There was four so I got them all. Brought them home. Haven't opened the package yet, but it looks like they will be really handy. A new DIY project

The prices are more inflated than they should be. $100 for a dresser and $50 for Sneakers is ridiculous. Still some good buys but with rising inflation and fuel the goodwill is looking more like Greedwill.

Not worth going to. prices are way to high. You can buy almost all the listed items brand new for the same price they are charging for. Save your money go to somewhere else. Owners comment is just a copy paste on all bad reviews.this good will does not price by standard guide lines

This goodwill is over priced and junky. All the stuff that needs to be free or for $1.00. I been to so many goodwill and this one just blows my mind with the price. Ridiculous, absurd prices and expensive considering all of this stuff is donated and they are trying to put a high price on junkie items.

They won't open their fitting rooms, they have so much junk piled by them it looks like a badly maintained junk shop. Really, they can't give you a sack or box for purchses, and you can't bring bags ieither. Rid

Remember when second hand stores helped the community too and not just their company and pet projects?..... Edit update: after reading everyone else's comments about high prices and the companys pathetic response about how they help their employees (which company doesn't....?) And they do not help the people buying the items , that they (goodwill) got for free and didn't even have to pay for shipping, I am beyond disgusted. Goodbye Goodwill. Forever.

This is the most expensive Goodwill I've ever been to! I understand why some items are a bit more expensive but most of the items, come on!!! This is a thrift store! I will say the store is organized and looks well. The staff was also very friendly. Save your money and go to Goodwill in Lubbock or Amarillo.

There is a lot of clothing but very little in the way of goods. My real complaint is a very rude man that receives donations plus he was refusing some donations saying he couldn't sell it! It's Goodwill, where else can someone go for stuff besides yardsales? Come on man, I've seen empty boxes on shelves for $2.99! ??

Employees are nice and helpful. Just not the cleanest of stores or furniture. They have their dressing rooms closed and blocked off. It is also kind of a small store.

Here at the Goodwill in Clovis New Mexico the cashier's and the other staff seems to greet you at the entrance. Where inside they offer to assist you to what ever you are looking for. And being so making sure you're satisfied to the best of their services upon you leaving.

Brand new prices for used mid quality at best product. 7.99 for a shirt with stains and a hole. Why? This is not what a second hand store is suppose to be!

Dropped off some kitchen appliances and clothing..Found a real nice turntable and a couple decent old Hank Snow records here.

7.00$ for a tank top that's ridiculous I wont be returning to bad it used to be reasonable

Organized and friendly staff but prices are high. It feels like you are buying first hand for second hand quality. That mostly pertains to the furniture and home goods.

The prices are too high for a place that sells donated Items . They need to bring their prices down to donation level.

First time shopping and wasn't able to try on an item and so I asked if I'd be able to return it the cashier said no problem I just have to within 7 days after that it's just store credit. Now I'm out money because I was told wrong and stuck with store credit with nothing I see I need to get. Guess it's a win win for them they get my money no matter what. Not shopping here again.

Depending on the day, the friendliest of staff may not be working & young dumb donkeys without life experience may help you decide not to spend any money that day. So just walk out and tell the young punk to shut up, when he sarcastically says have a goodday

First time visiting...great selection, great prices...clean and tidy store...prices on some items a bit pricey due to name brand but all in all, great experience...will be visiting more often especially on Mondays

Nice, clean store. Items are well layed out and marked. Bring your own bag if you think you might purchase alot.

Love Goodwill but you have to shop around sometimes it's cheaper to go to the dollar store or Walmart. Clean shop and very friendly staff

Many things are very over priced... They won't let you try anything on and you can't even sit on the furniture....

Ew. I've been to many Goodwills over the years. This one is so pathetic I don't even bother trying to go in anymore. VERY low inventory. Overpriced, dirty old items. Clothes not organized by size.

Prices are jacked up so high! Wish I would have shopped at the Salvation army or Habitat for humanity. Wasn't surprised to see folks putting stuff back after they got to the register.

I thought it was a place to help people. All you do is charge people. A mom came in an asked for a coat. She couldn, afford one an it was like 30degrees. They said no. Will never. Shop there again. Below a one

Decent book selection when they get donations in. I am not much into their clothing. Their miscellaneous section is usually picked through everytime I shop there.

Way too expensive. It's hard to pay twenty bucks for a coffee pot that may not even work when i can buy a new one out of the box at Wal-Mart for fifteen.

Nothing caught my eye really didnt have much.Employees are always saying when you walk into the store Good afternoon welcome to Goodwill, I opened the door twice and heard those words twice these employees dont look up to see the folks that ate coming in they just saying like a machine everytime the door opens

This place is friendly and there is a variety of things to go through that interests everybody and its a clean store as well with a restroom and dressing rooms too this is my go to place for relaxing and shopping both i highly recommend stopping in

Nice people..but way overpriced for donated hand-me-downs. You can get some of the same items brand new from the $ store or online for less.

The place is dirty. It seems the aisles weren't properly stocked because things were strewn on the floor. Mostly clothes, not much else.

Great place! You can find almost anything! Friendly helpful people and unexpected treasures pop up all the time

The employees are friendly, and you can find nice stuff sometimes, 25% off on Mondays is a decent store overall.

It's usually either a hit or miss for me.Some of the prices are absolutely ridiculous. The people that work there are always very friendly and helpful.I would avoid the restrooms if possible. They are always disgusting

They always have good things , surprisingly good at times really and good prices may vary , but mondays 25% off every monday...

Prices are outrageous! I understand they need to make money, however just because they are a charity does not mean they have to price gouge for used items

Sorriest People And Service...No Shopping bags???! Wow...Then they tried to blame Albuquerque....We aren't Albuquerque....Plus the Employees have Body Odor from Hell...How do they Even hold a job at that Place?

It's ridiculous what they charge for some of the things in here, especially considering they're donated. I go to a lot of thrift stores in a lot of places, its a mainstay of any travel plans I make, and this one is by far the most expensive

This place is stricter than Texas GoodWills because it won't sell one's has no prices and dosen't believes their costumers.

This place no longer has electrical goods, ie., DVD PLAYERS, VHS PLAYERS, Computer parts, heck, there are no coffee makers, waffle makers etc...!!!

These donated used items are OVER PRICED. I can find better deals on housewares at Khols or Ross in the clearance section!

Nice time shopping, found what I went looking for, and on top of that while shopping we got to see a an ol dear friend. Thank you to the young man who helped me and my lovely wife.

Got some excellent summer goodies for my son!!

Friendly and well organized. A little high prices compared to other Goodwill stores.

Most things are ridiculously overpriced. Have visited other goodwills that do not over price the way this location does

They always have fun coffee mugs, other than that everything costs too much considering it's goodwill.

I love to shop there.. the staff and management are very helpful...

Raised prices! Might as well buy new

Crazy prices. No longer a place for ppl with limited income to shop. Sticking to rummage sales from now on.

Nice, clean store, but some of the prices were a little high.

Prices for used goods are ridiculously high!!!

Prices are insane stuff cost more than you can buy brand new employees are friendly though

This good will is very expressive they are try to sell used items at new prices

Good customer service but the prices are almost higher than if you buy them new

Treasures are there but they are difficult to find. Needs better organization. Try grouping by size instead of just by color

They are way over priced on some things.. A used tee-shirt was $18.00, that's just one example.

Doesn't have very much and some items are way over priced. Was really disappointed

I have been in this store on multiple occasions and have always been treated it respect by their employees. Great job.

Prices way to high for free stuff..,

The prices are the same as or greater than new product prices, has not changed.

If I could give it a ZERO I would! The prices are outrageous for items that have been donated to them! I ABSOLUTELY HATE GOODWILL!!

Clean and organized but could not use the dressing rooms.

I found Shakespeare books that I am so excited about!

Friendly people, reasonable prices, not the biggest selection

Horrible management. The store always looks like a tornado went through it.

It's a bit over priced but I still shop there

OVERPRICED!!!! The person in charge of pricing needs to do some more research on pricing. .

These photos are not for GoodWill, they were for Hastings...

Amazing items!!! Gr8 job Goodwill!!! ??????
