Parachute Plasma Donation Center Huntsville, TX

Parachute Plasma Donation Center Huntsville, TX

Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the friendly, knowledgeable staff and clean facilities, with many highlighting excellent customer service. However, frequent complaints cite severe understaffing leading to long wait times (often hours), disorganization, and inconsistent service. While many donors appreciate the caring phlebotomists and smooth process when staffed properly, others express frustration with inefficient operations, cold temperatures, and poor management. High ratings often acknowledge delays but commend the team's efforts, while low ratings focus on systemic issues like slow screening, lost samples, and lack of urgency in resolving problems. The consensus is polarized: great staff when available, but overwhelmed by demand.

Customer Reviews

Been going for awhile now and updating my review. The staff is exceedingly friendly and capable- facility clean and maintained. There are times when they could have more people on staff for the number of clients they have coming in- but they still make sure everyone gets proper attention as needed! Ricky is the biggest personality I've seen among them but its welcome when you're dealing with things like needles and want a good bedside manner.

Only been here twice, but it has been great both times. Vivian was amazing my second time and helped me to cool down due to me feeling not so great towards the end. Only downfall of here is the wait time, but honestly, I'm okay with it if it means I get good care and kind people each time. Will definitely continue to come here.

The staff is really nice, nice and professional. But everything else about this place is not good! They are very understaffed, never mind can get out of there in less than 2-3 hours. The wait is long, just to be seen, they don't have enough people for intake. They have the same staff doing multiple jobs, and they can just not keep up with the amount of people there. I've only gone twice and I've opted to go someplace else. That pays a little bit less money but is very organized and has a full staff capable

First time ever donating and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Ricky was a real cool dude during the entire procedure. Answered all of my questions, was very polite, and kept a casual and comfortable environment the entire time. Pain was very minimal and manageable the entire time. The payment for your donation was lightning quick and the app easy to use once you get registered to donate. 10/10 ?? I look forward to donating again soon

I love this place. People are usually super chill or actually remember you and interact. Occasionally I find one of the people are rough when removing the IV and it causes me to bruise. I know it's not just me bruising easily (I don't normally), because twice now it hasn't happened. Also it seems understaffed. One person was doing check ins and I waited almost 1hr and 30 min just to donate. Thank goodness I ate well before and had snacks in the car. Also one of the poor ladies that was helping me mentioned

This place is amazing. The app is easy to use and I've never had any problems. They make the experience hassle and worry free. You know it's going to be a great experience when Jose is there

The staff is very helpful especially Jackson. I've been through kinda an ordeal with them losing my blood sample. But luckily they have found them and am able to move forward as soon as their Dr approves it. The service is great very friendly people sometimes they are slow but over all they are great.

Vivian is always a happy person. She always makes sure to tell me if I need anything to let her know. Does a great job sticking me without too much pain. Thanks a lot for caring.

Been going here for 18 months and really enjoy this facility. Clean and safe, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Vivian stands out as a friendly staff member who keeps patients moving fast!

Nice and friendly, positive vibe environment? very helpful super nice staff.. when I go there a lot staff that stand out my fav is Emily? she's great n really kind?.sooooooo when u get chance stop by and help save a life ?. N get paid for helping.. I do it on my off days .. STAY HYDRATED ?????? as well

Went to donate today and had an awesome experience. I have tried to come in as a new donor before and they were just to busy but today I checked how busy they were on Google and it showed they were not super busy, and they actually were not when I got there! Moved through the process in a few hours and everyone was SO NICE and VERY informative throughout the process. They never just did something without explaining first and I really appreciated that!

The workers here are great! Even after there is a lot of people waiting they're trying their best to get people in and out. Andrea is sweet and helpful to all those who are waiting patiently. Love coming here.

I have donated blood pretty regularly here. They have been on every occasion been kind and proficient at their respective jobs. The facility is very clean. The staff are funny and very good at their respective jobs. Vivian is the absolute best. I'll definitely continue to come here to give blood in the future and recommend to anyone looking to donate.

Once you get past the long, slow moving line, the phlebotomists are all very respectful and kind. I especially like Vivian, as she is always so kind and genuine. She even held my hand and helped calm me down when the power had gone out mid donation. I was panicking, and she really helped me!

Andrea was really awesome and informative during my first visit. Very nice in answering my questions. Gave me an extra spin on the wheel as well but came out empty.

I have not been here to donate in over a month. I came in today and I see several new faces working here. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I had to do my annual physical today and still got to donate pretty quickly. Great job speeding up the process.

Vivian and Ricky were an absolute delight! They made my experience at Octapharma amazing. It was my first time donating and they made sure I was comfortable, understood what was going on.

I'm currently here now, I came in kinda late and they still welcomede on in. The line was fast, the workers are nice and friendly, and the new manger is cool. I definitely like the way Octapharam Conroe has improved.

Carlos Williams The staff is very helpful especially Ricky. This is the best center/company I've donated with. The service is great very friendly people. Great customer service as well

The location is great but it only gets two stars from me because of how long it takes just for them to get you in the chair to give blood. I will get to the center around 4:30pm due to work and won't leave until 7pm, 6:30pm on a good day. I even tried going during the weekend when I'm off and it's even worse! They only have one person at the front taking vitals, which takes so long because they have a line for new donors and one for return donors. They have two sides to sit donors and the only time they ope

I would love to give this place a better rating, but the lack of staff and extremely long wait times make it nearly impossible. Every visit turns into a multiple-hour ordeal. It's clear that the current employees are working hard and doing their best with what they have, but they are stretched way too thin. Management seriously needs to hire more staff to improve efficiency and make the donation process smoother. Until then, expect long waits and frustration. And if you're going to respond in such a generic

I have been here 2 times and everyone has been extremely nice. They explain everything very good easy to understand and its a easy process.

Jazel was very informal as I did have many questions. She also has a great personality and as well as people skills I think she should and will be promoted soon thank you !!! ??

This Octapharmer is very nice, very clean. some of their phlebotomist don't take their job fully seriously, but there's only one or two of those the rest of them doing amazing at their job and it's a great place. I go do amazing every week.

I've been coming here for a little over a year Mrs. Vivian has always been super helpful and there when I needed anything! Great establishment with great employees.

I've been coming here for years and I gotta say the staff is phenomenal. I absolutely love Gee, she is definitely a joy to talk to when I come in to donate.

I've always had a great experience coming here. Andrea has always been kind and welcoming along with everyone else. Top notch location.

Very pleased... service was very organized and fast!! And payment was much better than any of the other companies. This will be my place to go!! And extra thanks to Vivian for taking the time to thoroughly explain the process. See you all again!! Thank you

Mya does a great job welcoming returning donors as well as giving new donors a complete explanation of the process and steps. Overall all staff is welcoming and friendly.

While the employees are all great, Courteous, professional and friendly, there has been a significant drop in service speed this year. It appears that staffing has been cut and all positions, screeners and phlebotomists, are in short supply resulting in extended wait times at this center. I try to plan in extra time but sometimes they wait just stretches to an unreasonable length due to employees being ask to do multiple roles while managers sit in the office. Some managers come out or help but not all in m

Great staff! They work hard and maintain a positive attitude. Andrea is always friendly and offers professional service. I highly recommend this Octapharma branch!

I wish I could give this center a better review. If you plan on starting to donate, please plan to spend your entire afternoon here and don't expect to be compensated properly for it. I have been donating for almost three years now and in the past 6 months the time it takes to even get a bed/chair has more then doubled. When I first started donating ( day one it took 4 hours) afterwards on average about 2 hours. Now it takes on average 3 1/2-4 hours per donation, in the express lane, and the compensation ha

Shoutout to the new Manager at PM shift with the short hair! She is not locked in the office like all the managers before all day not doing anything. She's on the floor setting up beds, calling people to the beds, and FINALLY using the second side of the floor! I've been coming here for 2 years and it's the first time I see that happen! She's the real MVP ??

The people are great. The place is clean. BUT it's small and they usually seem under staffed. Been coming for several months and they usually only have 1 side of beds going. The majority of the time it takes a LONG time so always expect it. 4 hours is ridiculous. I never waited that long at Bio. Usually only have 1 person checking people in also.

They are improving the process and things are moving a little faster. As I stated though the plobonmist are amazing and Emily is one of them and I thank all of them for working hard to make our experience her a smooth one.

It's been 20 business days and I still have a pending protein sample. I've called numerous times and I get the same response that the lab is backed up. It seems as if they lost the sample. The lack of urgency is leaving me no choice but to leave and find another center which is a bummer since everyone is so nice at this place, Update: it's been a month and a half. Still no solution. When I talk to anyone at the center they have no idea what is going on. The result of lost lab results should be reported as

The people doing the donations were great. When you check in, they give you no details on the compensation plan, so I missed the higher amounts. Also, have waited 3 months for a referral fee which I'm sure I'll never see. Found a new donation place and won't be back. Have to love the response I got telling me to call that number which I have called MANY times with no results! ??

The past 2 visits i never even got past intake 2 hours standing in line the i called this time and asked how busy, was told we not busy. I came over intake was 30 minutes and i waited almost 3 hours to donate while there was a whole side open and people standing around. I think that will be my last

This is the best location I have been to by far! Extremely cleanly environment with friendly staff. I was helped by the phlebotomist Nuri, who was pleasant from the minute that we first interacted. She was extremely professional, and the whole process was very smooth, unlike any other I have had when providing blood samples; she definitely seemed experienced and knew what she was doing. In the past, I had numerous instances of bruising on my arm by phlebotomists who were not careful when attempting to take

I arrived at 9 am. I was told new patients needed to come back at 12:30. I arrived about 5 minutes early, there was only one other new start ahead of me. I had my blood pressure checked and passed it as well as protein count etc. I was told to have a seat and I needed a physical. By now it's past 2:30, already been waiting far too long. At 3:30 I finally decided to leave as I was STILL awaiting a physical as well as the donation itself. I was freezing cold and hungry. I had started this adventure at 9 am b

Don't waste your time here. This facility has the lowest rates of any donation center I have been to. You can donate religiously and never make anything more than $50. The staff is inadequate and poorly trained. There is this short Latina, I didn't get her name, that has had issues sticking me twice. First time she couldn't find my vien and jammed it into my arm and bruised it. This time again she forced the needle into me after requesting numerous times to speak to a supervisor and to find me someone else

The workers sit and socialize. Laugh and play while they have 40 people waiting ti donate. They care more about having fun than getting their job done

The first time process went smoothly.. very nice employee's, clean establishment, skilled nurses and money was quickly added to the card provided will definitely be returning soon thanks

Some staff here is very unprofessional including speaking with a member of management. I had some lady fish for my vein pulled the needle all the way out to the point blood squirted everywhere which traumatized me. Then the lady began to ask what I ate, am I drinking from a bottle or a cup. Idk who wants to be asked a thousand questions after being hurt by a big ask needle: nor do I need nutritional advice for phlebotomist. I ignored her and she got louder in the question she asked. I then asked an another

Plasma is always quick and easy. It is also safe and helpful to those we donate too. Nuri and Andrea are very nice and helpful.

The workers are really nice and the facility is absolutely spotless. . Sometimes it takes long but, other than that, I like this facility.

Mya the lady that dose the screaming is a very polite sweet person she friendly with everyone she is always smiling and happy she never complains about anything she helps everyone with every question they have i give her 5 star

Please do not go here. Do not support their inconsideration for our time. This is my 3rd time coming. I showed up at opening 7:05 am. It's 8:12 and the same people are in line. It's ONE PERSON DOING VITALS FOR 25 people. Only 9 have been hooked up since 7:10. The employee asked the manager if someone else can join in on vitals. I'd seen come back shaking his head. I'm currently here and not going anywhere anytime soon. Please report to higher ups or do not support company

The right plasma center to go to. Everyone is so kind. Vivian is amazing. She is such a kind person and truly cares about her donors.

Very friendly funny your gonna laugh while your there anything or problem their there?? porsha is new but she's gentle kind I'll see her next week great team great company

These reviews with the low ratings are correct. 1) It does take a long time bc some employees would rather talk than do their jobs, they'll leave you sitting there while they talk! They'll even stop unhooking you to have a 10 min conversation while you sit there waiting for them to shut up! 2) They will bruise your arms by incorrectly sticking or removing the needle, I've had bruises on atleast 5 occasions about the size of a golf ball in diameter. 3) The payment, after so many visits, drops to 40 bucks!

I cannot get in touch with anyone in the office via phone! I called the number and there is no prompt to talk to someone before 9 am!! They need more people checking in patients at the counter. It takes too long and there are too many empty beds. I spent 4 hours here one time. Wow, that was really a pain and dampered my plans.

I'm really sad about this, but I feel I have to leave a 1 star review at this point - the wait is 2-3+ hours most of the time, just to start donating. They will blame understaffing, but a lot of the time I see the staff that are supposed to be attending to donors just groupes up giggling, or sometimes just standing around doing nothing at all. A great example is today, they are upgrading some of the machines and so using that as an excuse for why it's taking over 2 hours after check in to get the donation s

Everybody is super sweet- Andrea, Ricky, Doug, etc!!! I look forward to coming Andrea is the absolute best, always has a smile on her face!!!!??

The employees are amazing great attitudes and personalities. The greatest disappointment is how well they are staffed. The wait is absolutely horrible. It's like the company is afraid to pay for the employees to have more hours.

Updated review! Octapharma Plasma Review: Conroe, TX vs. Apache Junction, AZ I've been a regular donor with Octapharma, and after donating at two different centers?one in Conroe, Texas (my home clinic) and another in Apache Junction, Arizona?I feel it's important to share a clear, honest review. Both facilities operate under the same brand, but the difference in efficiency, readiness, and overall donor care is extreme. Apache Junction, AZ ? The Gold Standard ? I arrived around 6:30 AM, and I was usually

Always 3 hours waiting at this center it is the most unorganized one I've ever been to. The employees move so slow and spend to much time playing to actually get work done. They have no respect of anyone's time. It's honestly sad.

Very long wait times even when they have a full staff. Upwards of an hour if not more just to get signed in and see a bed. Walked in at 2:30pm and it's currently 3:42pm having been screened in at 2:42pm. Ridiculously slow and surely not worth the time wasted in your day. Update: (1/10/25) Specifically look into Jordan. He shows up and skips the line as an employee regularly. Then when he is here he is working with intent to sensationally slow down the process. I have never seen so many express pass screen

3/13/25 Only two workers on the floor. All beds full, all chairs in lobby full. 6 people in line. Cant get corporate bonuses if the bonus money is spent on more employees. 3/5/25 Been standing in line to get screened for an hour. They are screening one person every 20 minutes. The lobby is full the line is full, but the employees appear to be enjoying hanging out talking .2/16/25 Still understaffed to save money. Screening only took an hour and a half I estimate it will be another hour until i get a bed and

Andrea is amazing worker.she is very delightful and helpful. Great customer service.

Great facility and nice people. Love Nuri. Line is usually long and the facility doesn't seem to want to get people in and out quick.

Nurri was the best! She was fast and effective! I didn't even feel the needle stick! Awesome place!

I've come to this donation center a dozen times and it's always a pleasure I'd like to highlight Vivian she's very knowledgeable and patient also helped me overcome my initial nervousness

It doesn't say in their site that someone would be excluded with heart issues. This needs to be listed so someone's time is not wasted.

This is a bull-$*@! run of the mill answering system, complaints are not dealt with, and can't even get in touch with the center (only get an automated crappy robot), of all the centers around Houston, this definitely is the worst. Payment problems, wait times etc. I really recommend to go elsewhere.

Plan on spending 3 to 4 hours every time you go here. There is no supervision unless someone from another center comes in to cover. There should be someone on the floor to keep things moving in a timely manner. The director and manager hide in their offices and pretend not to see the angry donators who are waiting for hours. The management needs to be retrained or replaced with staff who will supervise the phlebotomist and screeners and keep the wait time to a minimum. I went to donate Saturday after work

Only reason for 3 stars is the actual time I spend in there from start to finish. Yesterday I was in for 3.5 hours, they don't utilize all the beds until after 12 or 12 30 when more staff comes in. It's clean and the staff is always friendly.

I had a 10:00 appointment. On the paperwork it said the whole process would take about 2 hours. I checked in at 10, did some paperwork and watched a couple of videos, finished my paperwork, did a check in then had to do a physical. When I was finally to the physical part I had already been there 2 hours. Not even to the actual donation. The wait was horrendous.

Under no circumstance should an employee be allowed to get in front of a line of 8 donors that have been waiting for over 45 minutes. They will never get to feel the full experience that is the sloth like movement of the plasma center. This place has zero sense of urgency or care. But they have the perfect clients. People that truly need money.

They permanently banned me from donating because I have an artificial hip. Do they actually think no one with an artificial hip or knee has never donated? Should've lied on app.

I am a new/returning donor and on my first visit back, Doug went above and beyond to ensure that the somewhat lengthy new/returning donor process was smooth and painless! Super professional and extremely knowledgeable! Thanks Doug!!!

I go here to help cover bills and such. I like the staff and its always clean. The reason for the 2 stars is how LONG it takes. I understand 2 hours but these last few months no matter if im there at 730am or 5pm it has taken 4 to 5 hours each time. Which then I have to sit through because i need lights.

Nuri makes getting through a very tiring process a lot easier and not boring. from her humor or charm to her character and personality.

Ari is so wonderful and a hard worker she makes my experience such a pleasant one?

Had a great experience there.. Andrea was excellent at her job.

Super chill staff always helpful even on hectic days. Wanted to add Vivian has always gone above and beyond to help me even in my worst days she makes the donation a lot smoother and my day a lot easier in grateful for her always trying her best with me and my randomness.

Vivian, Aria and Ricky are awesome team members. Always so friendly and work hard.

Very friendly and get you in and out very fast. My third time going and it's always an easy process.

Customer service is great. The place is always packed and takes so long to get to the screening. Pay isn't that much.

Mia is da best nd fastest screener nd arii is a great still I'll refer her to anybody

Friendly staff. They get you in and out as quick as possible and clean facilities.

I had given 5 stars, but today I noticed an employee tell another to put certain patients before some that were already there. I happen to know They were not fast track patients bc I came in prior to them and sat in a seat where i was able to observe it all myself. I wasn't one of them, but I noticed two people possibly 3 who were skipped past so that a particular employee could deal with that group, or so they wouldn't have to deal with the other group. I don't know if I'll be returning bc Certain staff me

The experience wasn't bad, but not being able to donate within 2 days due to bruising is annoying. Hopefully in the future if they can't find a good vein, they won't stick you. Ricky was great at adjusting the needle and taking time to re-stick me after another tech was unable to. I can say in the 3 hours I was there, the 2 techs on the floor served a lot of people. I think they need more help!! Overall good experience and liking the extra cash!!

Long wait, severely understaffed, there is one wing that's never open while the lobby is full of people. In desperate need of more phlebotomists and staff.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The place is clean and freezing! The bad is they never have enough staff for the amount of traffic. Expect a LONG wait!!! The wait time is seriously aggravating.

This center usually moves quickly and have great workers that perform the needle sticks. Mya is great and always helpful??

Andrea stepped up to the plate to tell me what to do when I saw the gift give away.....this center is my home center and the employee's are all a blast to be around and make your time go by fast!!!!

ARI and ms.vivian are great stickers and very nice and Mia is my favorite screener

Donated today and Vivian was the one who set me up. She is always personable making the experience inviting.

Andrea and staff are great! Easy and usually pretty quick!

Love the people there...just wish sometimes things would move a little quicker. But overall good place

Ricky, Jose ,Jaxsen, and nuri where fast effective and helpful while maintaining a friendly environment. Keep up the good work

Not to be mean but there set up is messed up. The line is always very long but not because people keep coming in. It's because the workers don't manage the people and line properly. Last time I was there they let people skip me as well. They talk allot when they can be disconnecting it setting up for the next donar. Why set up after you have 5 people on the bed. Now we have to wait more. It's been ten minutes and three people are still on Green, no one is disconnecting them. This is crazy.

Went here to donate some black lady was very rude and shot my blood everywhere. Attempted to speak with management but saw her talking to someone else and she was rude to her I decided to just leave.

Miss. Vivian is the best she's always so kind and knowledgeable.

Andrea is amazing, super friendly and professional, everyone is so nice!

A lot of great people work here and easy process! #Andrea

It is always fast and friendly.never any worries.shot out to my girl Nuri ursla and viv

Under staffed, long wait time, no door greeter to tell you what line to get in. Looks like they are only using a quarter of the available chairs for plasma donation. Poorly operated.

Andrea is a great technician when donating plasma! She is polite, professional and courteous to staff and donors!

My donation was a very pleasant one and the staff were great and vey friendly and knowledgeable about the whole process from start to finish.

Great way to get some extra cash and help out saving people by providing plasma to make medicine!

Octapharma has is days, on those mornings I come in Doug, he's a screener. He's a funny guy very nice!!!

Had the pleasure of going through the donation process with Andrea F. She was very helpful and nice!

I always have an amazing experience here! Nuri is amazing ?? Bring a jacket ??

Kind and courteous workers all working like a team to prodvide professional amd vital service 5 stars in all areas

Unfortunately if you have all the time in the world this is a fine place to go. But they are very short staffed and it takes an average of 2-2.5 hours just to get through the check in process. I am not sure if this is a staffing issue or a scheduling one. But I am sorry I don't really have the time to be there for 3-4 hours just to donate plasma, and then they penalize you if you don't go twice a week. So in end result it's fine but only if you can allow the time to do this. Maybe I'm coming at the wrong

My favorite person have the be rick he smooth with the transition

This place has been amazing. Always quick and professional. Some of the best skilled needle sticks I've had out of any donation facility! They truly are training them right at this place ??

I'm giving one star because of ONE singular employee. If you have to go here avoid Gayle. She's the rudest person I've ever met. My toddler had to go to the bathroom and instead of politely letting us know children aren't allowed, she rudely snapped and made my mom leave with my toddler so I went in to politely ask if she could just use the restroom so she wouldn't have an accident and she kicked me out. If they don't allow children, fine but she could have nicely asked instead of kicking us out. They have

regular donor and i?ve never had a bad experience. in my opinion, some of these bad reviews are strictly from individuals who do not have patience or don't understand the medical field. the staff has always been top tier for me, there usually is always a wait but they are busy and it is completely understandable. the staff is always there best under the busy circumstances. all in all, recommend this location and big props to the staff for dealing with all of us!

Vivian is AWESOME! She gets me in and asap every time

Staff are great but there are not enough workers. 4hrs to donate is ridiculous.

We donate at the Conroe Octapharma facility. This facility needs a total overhaul of the management levels. The average donate time for me - with express pass- exceeds 2 hours!! There always seems to be a shortage of staff from screeners to pokers. The atmosphere is palpable from the staff. I know its not their fault but they take the brunt of all the donor complaints. Please bring in better management policies and people that can make the donation process less demanding!!!

Friendly staff courteous and clean establishment I've been going 2 times a week

Really takes forever not so many ppl on floor a they do more talking then working. The only two I think gets things done is Jordan he moves quick ? and Ricky them two are phenomenal.

Very professional place they made everything very easy to understand and in a timely manner definitely recommend if your looking to donate plasma

My experience at Octapharma Conroe is always so pleasant and quick thanks to Nuri

Great place, super sweet and easy to talk to people I never have a complaint when I go there.

Friendly staff, answers all questions...Andrea, Mya and Samantha all were very friendly...

This place is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Everything from the overwhelming hospitality from the staff to the free drinks and snacks, makes this Octapharma location a very pleasant experience EVERY time! Thank yall for all yall do, I appreciate yall!!!

Love going here (even though they do stick me with needles) the staff is always friendly and helpful. The extra money is a nice bonus to knowing your helping others in need by donating life saving plasma. If you've got an extra 2-3 hours and could use a bit of pocket change then I highly suggest stopping by and checking this location out.

1. Freezing! 65 degrees or less. On a summer day, in shorts and a T-shirt, for an extended time, I was shivering uncontrollably. I might have been A BIT more patient if it wasn't so cold. And I'm in the season of hot flashes. I'm NEVER cold! Wear long pants and bring a blanket or sweater. 2. Poorly staffed. I understand the influx of people is unpredictable, but still. Almost 30 beds, only 3 phlebotomists. Only 3 people checking in and screening the regulars who were continually lined up more than 10 deep

Thank you all, it was an awesome experience. Was very nice and very professional. Y'all did an amazing job.

Been donating for 8 months. Today was the first time I walked out without donating. 1 screener and 2 phlebotomyists, with at least 15 people waiting for screening and another dozen waiting for beds. They really need to get some more help in there. Some of us go between work shifts and don't have hours to wait. Dec. 14th, been waiting to donate 2 hrs. 2 phlebotomyists, and every chair taken and a line of people waiting to be screened. Hire more help!!!

Super easy process, professional employees, it was overall great experience.

As soon as I walked in this lady greeted me very rudely and told me my shorts were to short and she wouldn't let her daughter dress like me? what does that have to do with plasma idk she was very rude and turned me away for my outfit?. I'm wearing a big t shirt and shorts that are visible not inappropriate at all this place is rediculous and is swarmed with crack heads awful

First off, the staff you interact with is wonderful. That being said, this place is run like it's about to close down.

I'm sorry to say this place is very disappointing. It is severely understaffed, the little staff they do have takes forever. I am sorry but I feel the Express line needs to go i don't think it's fair when your waiting 2 hours and your almost the next one to be called and they jump an express person ahead of you. We should all have to wait and be called in order.

Very kind people try their best to get people out on time

I had a great experience. Gayle (the woman with the blonde hair as she says others call her) who gave me my exam was kind and good at what she does.

They are full of good sense of humor they also make u feel like family this place is very clean and the staff or very professional I love this place there open minded with the questions u have they always stay the same with there happiness I recommend this place 100 stars.

If I can give it a 0 I would bad customer service if you have a Express pass and they don't like you they won't use it

It's very comfortable, everyone is very kind and friendly. Seen a young woman who seem to have a problem with her donation. There were 3 or 4 employees there to help her and as well make her feel better and they stopped her donation early. I could tell and she said as well that they helped her feel so much better.

Went very smoothly my first time back great experience

Thank you Porsha for your excellent service today with the donation process.

Great place to donate very caring and friendly people

The staff was very professional. I had a great experience!

Yes, it's 8 o'clock.I say there are problems aren't working?Yes I opened it seven still not answering the phone

Very pleased with the staff they were very professional and organized.

I took my friend at 12 and he didn't get out till 4:30. They need a better set up or leader.

I had Vivian today 6/18 for my phlebotomist . She is always so personable and very efficient !

Takes at least 2-3 hrs to get out every time. Bring a blanket or jacket it's super cold. Staff is great! Dont come later than 6:30pm, management will let you know Lolol busiest times are after 4pm.

I think when yall do someone's bloodworm every 3 months your requirements on protein is to damn high !!! I eat good bc I hav3 mine checked at a doctor and all my stuff comes back good except when yall do my blood work every time I got to do it 2 and 3 times till it comes back to yalls liking .. Lately they need more help it's very slow people wait and are there 2 hours I heard the staff isn't very nice bc alpt of people have left u need to clean house and do better

Oh my gosh, you won't believe how incredible the customer service is at this business! ?????????? They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. They're super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. I can't recommend them enough! Especially (Ari)she was very friendly and helpful and made sure that I had a safe and comfortable experience definitely coming back.

I really enjoy the staff they are always friendly and it's always clean! Usherla and Ricky are the best they are gentle and never have issues getting a good stick. A few staff members are newer and tend to have issues getting a good stick, I plan my donations around my favorite staff members work days !

Would never go again. Most employees are just conversation with them self . Was there 3 hours!!! ??

New donors do not come here. I guess they're so use to regular everyday people that they don't even notice or acknowledge new donors to location. Waited 40 minutes in line thinking I'm doing right as a new donor , nope got to the desk and was told I needed to do questionnaire and then have to get back in line and wait another 40 minutes smh. New people do not know what your signs mean when you have basic wording like ?express lane?. Finally get to the donor area 2 hrs later and the lady is literally about t

These people do not take people in the order they come in. You wait in line only to watch others go ahead of you. Not professional. They also stand around talking instead of taking people down off the machines when finished! No one answers the phone at number you provided. Also, I've been shorted over $20 through the Mastercard you guys use from my last visit. No human person answers on the card line neither. I've been a constant donor now for at least a month now, twice a week, and now the Mastercard you

Definitely go with time to spare. Due to being understaffed it takes a bit longer than usual but the whole experience was pleasant. The entire staff are well coordinated and knowledgeable. Sanitation was excellent. Restrooms were spotless throughout my entire visit (5 hours.) 10/10 would recommend. Shout out to Davina, definitely knows what she's doing! She Made me feel so welcomed and safe being under her care. Thankful for the entire staff.

Staff is generally friendly, but I get the feeling they are understaffed and overworked as a result. This tends to translate into higher wait times. It's pretty rare if I get out much less than 2 hours after donating. If you can stand the needles it's not a bad way to make a few extra dollars per week.

So I went in last weekend to do the sample/donation and instead of them having me do that they simply took a sample because they were misinformed by another staff member. So my arm got stuck for no reason at all and didn't even pay me anything and still kept the sample. Now yesterday I came back because I was told they'd fix it the last time I was in there so I could still get the promotion only to be told by a manager that no I wasn't going to get the money for the promotion even though they still kept the

Andrea was so nice and helpful. Very Clean

Awesome communication within the building and Great Staff

I've been coming here for a bit now. The staff is so friendly! Today Dee stood out I had to come leave her a review. She is very quick and efficient and always provides good customer service. Thank you for getting me in and out so quickly. Oh and Byron is pretty cool too.

Octapharma plasma is a great place to go if you want to help save lives and make money at the same time. I've had great experiences there the staff is great just wonderful. Very professional and courteous and they do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. So got a little time go donate and make a difference. Thank you octapharma y'all are great!

Was bruised so badly I have not been able to donate on a twice of week schedule in order to receive the incentive pay. Makes one wonder how well trained the workers are and what else isn't done correctly. Will be two weeks in two days and I still have nasty black spots on my right arm. With that being said....the workers are super nice and work as quickly as they can to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible

Always a great experience very quick and easy

i love going to this place. the staff is so friendly and caring and i get along with all of them. Just make sure you bring a very comfy and warm hoodie or jacket.

Desiree is the most awesome & best phlebotomist!!! So warm, kind, friendly & easily found a vein in my arm (even though others could not) & it didn't hurt at all when she put in the needle to begin the plasma donation. Desiree is outstanding!! ??. Also, Maya is SO sweet & friendly!

I've been going to this place now for a while and I always request Princess to poke me in the arm. I never feel it she is that good!! It amazes me how smooth she is with it!! She's amazing!! I highly recommend that you start requesting Princess your next time going!

Everyone is professional, very knowledgeable and friendly! From the front desk back to the phlebotomists. Great experience every time going in. I've never had a problem donating, and no they are not swarming with drug addicts. That was my first thought before going but was proven wrong. I mean, honestly, there are an occasional few questionable people that go in, but you can see that anywhere, no big deal. Other than that, I feel like they really care and have been trained well. I've never been referred, bu

Everyone here is awesome but if got to give RICKY props hes excellent at what hes does, great bed side manner and just over all a delight...100% would recommend him. the staff is great, please remember this isn't a drive through and everyone is human (I think ??) so do have patients with everyone...it greatly helps the environment!! Going early as possibly always helps!!

1st time was great. Miss Rosa was awesome, kind, very knowledgeable and sweet towards me. And wnd time Mr, Ricky was kind. Nice and gentle on sticking me with my Lil veins. Overall experience so far very nice people oh and miss Lexi she stuck me first time and made me feel very comfortable ??.

Great experience. The staff are kind, compassionate and very personable. Facility is extremely clean and their process is quick and pain free. If I could give it a higher rating I would.

Ricky great service. Good covo

When I first got in there I'm standing at the desk a lady was extremely snippy about my social security card having my maiden name on it Even though I had a driver's license with my name on it a piece of mail with my name on it and she slaps down a blank piece of paper for me to write my social security number on because she cannot acknowledge my social security card. When I asked her why she couldn't use my social security card she quipped How am I supposed to know who you are was the first thing out of he

Friendly staff and explained everything very well for my first time donating

I have Been coming into this center for almost two years I love the staff they are a very comforting team and I look forward to every visit. If you ever decide to donate at this location, ask for Ricky, he is the vein whisperer!! And extremely gentle and attentive to all your worries questions and concerns! But I've also only had positive interactions and easy donations with the rest of the team if he was not on shift when I would go in to donate as well. You're in good hands here!!

Severely understaffed. Waiting around 2 hours now before I get poked. Only 4 people working on a Saturday morning I have no clue what these managers are thinking or where they might be. Needs to hire more people that can actually get to work on time

Clean facilities, friendly staff, professional demeanor all around... Highly recommend using this facility.

I usually love this place, the friendly staff and such. However today I was very disappointed in the evening crew. I got there at 4:30 there is only ever 1 person doing the hematocrits and about 12 in line. It took 30 minutes+ to get thru the hematocrit screening process. I sit down and there's is several empty beds for nearly 20 mins there is 2 sides and plenty of empty beds on one side. They never open it. They appear to be to lazy to go and sit up the machines. And it seemed as tho only 1 person was disc

Andrea was very helpful. Good experience.

Updated review: .. this location is no longer what it used to be. I don't know if it's new management, not having enough people employed, or just have so many people coming.. but it takes FOREVER to give plasma now. One time there was not even a line and it took them 1.5 hours just to stick me to give. Plenty of times the line is ridiculously long, and only half the room even open for giving. The employees are nice, but incredibly slow and don't seem to care at all with doing a good job quickly. What used t

I had a bad experience today but that's okay because everyone that helped me were so helpful, gentle, caring and kind!! Rosa is amazing and made me feel comfortable, as if we had already know each other! Andrea was so sweet. those two really stood out to me! ??

Update-11/7-I went for another visit and was greeted with a much more welcoming attitude by everyone I interacted with...thank you!! Lack of friendliness when I first arrived (seemed as if I was bothering her by showing up)! As I was donating plasma, everyone seemed more interested in what time their shift ended rather than cking on me to see how I was doing (first time donating)! There was 1 lady who seemed caring and attentive but she left for lunch and was gone after first starting me in the process.

Friendly Staff might be slow lol but they try to work fast

Have to love this place vivi is always helpful.

I have been here 3 times now. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and appears to be very well trained. Their system runs like a machine. Every member of the staff seems to really know their job, which gives me a feeling of confidence when donating here. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4 because this location seems to be consistently understaffed. While there are lots of open beds and a line of people coming in and waiting to be seen, there are not enough phlebotomists or screening techs or either available

The staff are always so very polite and very friendly. The facility is super clean and most days it's quick to get in and out!! I love this center and recommend it to everyone.

The first day was very smooth, friendly staff. The 2nd visit, I didn't really understand the check in process, the staff we're kinda snappy, I apologized for messing up and said I would do better next now that I understood the check in process. I had problems with my 2nd donation due to blood clotting and wasn't able to get my blood back in. I knew that would defer me.. I finally got the date of my next donation schedule and then no time later it was removed.

There is never enough staff to get you through quicker. A lot of us work and have lives to get to. The last couple of times took three hours and two hours. I alway finish on the machine in 45 minutes. Also, the whole debit card is a scam. I use the free ATM and still get charged. Plus all the extra fees that weren't lost in the atm brochure. Also, they need to stop sticking in the same holes. That traumatizes the vein and build up scar tissue quicker. Always go a half inch above or below the last seen draw

Ari was very polite and sticks very well

The opening shift is very slow one person is sticking for the last 2 months you will come in at 8:00 and leave at 1:45

Amanda, Andrea and Cassandra are so awesome! The staff, in general, are really nice. Wait times can be rough but it's to be expected. The compensation is really great as well! *FYI-drink A BUNCH (like ? a gallon) of water beforehand-makes the process so much faster!

Really helpful and informative So my overall experience was pretty Good

Had a pretty good experience both times. Staff was friendly. The only things I think they can improve on are borrowing from donation centers in the following areas: 1. Covering the needle with a cotton ball/tape (I know it's a little tacky, but I just don't like seeing it) 2. Offering a squeeze ball for pumping during draws Will definitely be going back, though.

A very rude blonde older lady works there. She argues and and refused to help me. She actually judged me for wanting to donate and said I should never be able to do so and the I am broken. All the other lady in there were very nice. This is why I give a one star rating.

I am thoroughly disappointed as of today. The first two times I came, a couple months ago, it was wonderful. The people were kind and patient. Every time after that, the workers were short with customers including myself. Rude is a good word for it. I think that this all has to do with management. If somebody isn't being corrected that creates a disruption in the work place. Furthermore, I watched the morale of the people working here drop over the past two months and while a few have stuck around, more t

It Was my first time donating and Everyone working there was extremely nice to me and very comforting . Really happy that I chose that specific location .??

I have been coming to this Octapharma location inconsistently for a bout a year now. The level of professionalism and care honestly varies depending on how the employees are feeling. But there is one employee Lisa A who is always sweet and urgent when helping with any matters I've had. Whether it be a first time physical, my blood pressure not cooperating with machines, or even patience with answering my million and one questions. Her attitude is always positive and pleasant. There's been no extreme cases o

The floor staff is excellent and doing the best they can even after a change in the overall staffing. Additionally, for staff to have to ask to go to the restroom is ridiculous and unprofessional. The location needs pool noodles for the donars to move along process. This are just a few issues I annotated on this review. It seems like the location has cut back with no focus on moral or the donars.

Everyone working rather stand around and talk, not concerned with customers waiting. They stand and gossip and take their sweet time while people stand and wait, as if they are trying to take a long time so people will leave.

When I wrote the below and gave only 1 star, I did not know it reflected on the staff, and not corporate where the blame belongs. The staff is fantastic! They are always short staffed, and hear a lot of complaints, but they always have a positive attitude. I always try to ask how their day is going and let them know I appreciate them. I apologize for the negative reflection on the staff. 15 people in line, 1 screener. Why is your metrics more important that my time? Always a long wait time, never enough

They are ok as far as service. I mean about the same as the other companies that do this. They only pay a little over half of what other companies do. Also they give everybody the same money but some people (like me) have to donate more than the other people do. At other places they give you more money if they take more than they do on other people. Also I'm not a big fan of their express line. Like today I have been waiting in line for an hour so far. Every 10 or 15 minutes somebody comes in and gets in fr

I went there a few days ago as a new doner. I was very super unfamiliar about the process and didn't do a lot of research before hand and had a lot of social anxiety. The front desk lady was super sweet, she told me to expect process to take a few hours and was very informative. But when it was time for me to actually start the blood drawn process, one of the nurses asked me how much water I had that day, I was honest and told her I didn't have a lot, I was new to this whole thing so I didn't know I had to

I have been there to donate twice and I thought the employees were kind and knowledgeable. The facility was very clean and the only downside is the wait time. With that being said, the wait time is no fault of the employees. Everyone was busy doing their job and working hard to keep things moving. It feels good to donate and help others. I'll definitely continue donating!

The new donor registration and screening process was so long. There should be a way to answer these questions online. Instead I burned almost 3 hours giving them all my personal info. Social security, address, drivers license - I hope their database and network are secure. And after collecting all this info I was turned away because I have anxiety and my heart rate was high. It would have made alot more since to take them before doing all the questionnaire and instructional video stuff. It felt very disorga

Mallory was awesome as well as the rest of the staff! Overall great first time experience and I will be returning to be a regular donor! Just be prepared to take about 2 hrs for your first appointment to register and learn everything you need on how it works.

They are pretty understaffed but was right there when I needed them, Ricky and the other employees were very nice and took care of me when I started feeling bad. The wait time is long, but I don't think you will find another place that will be as attentive and care for you the way they do. I am more than appreciative for how helpful and caring they were.

My visit was great everyone was very professional and the facility was very clean.

Didn't have to wait long. Everything was done as it should have been

Rude staff that have no business working with the public. They really should be, at the very least, semi professional and treat clients with a shred of decency. All the personal conversations and bad mouthing clients in front of other clients isn't a good look either. This place is atrocious. The blonde, white nurse is the worst.

The first visit that you go to is going to take some time. I believe it was three and a half hours my first time. But the service was great fast and reliable. They do things in an orderly fashion and everything is clean. I'm even returning today for my second donation! Definitely a must do if you are low on funds, it will definitely help!

I was a little nervous, but everyone was absolutely fantastic. Any questions i had were always answered right away. They talked me through everything and made me feel very comfortable. Also the easiest process I have experienced in a while from anywhere. 10/10 recommend!

Friendly staff, Ricky's the best

An absolute waste of time rude employees, rude management try to have a serious conversation with the assistant manager, Robert Hernandez that was not accomplished. Save your time find another donation center because this place is a waste to the community.

Great location. In and out pretty quickly. Ask for Princess! She's quick and never misses! She's very polite, everyone loves her! Also bring a jacket, it gets pretty cold.
